"Hmmm, let's see, are you hungry, Bors? If you don't mind, how about joining two of us for lunch? I bet Tetsu is famished."
The boy, hearing that, chuckled sheepishly. "Yeah, I am."
"So how about the terrace? We can sit there for lunch, right?" Gryz asked the receptionist, who nodded. "Yes, sir. Just please tell the cafeteria staff before you sit there, lest we thought you're only lounging about."
"Heh, will do. Bors, it'll be our treat. For now just head to your room. I think we'll rest a bit, just stretching some limbs... and come back down in about twenty minutes, sounds good? Which way is the suite?"
"On to your right, Sir. Our single rooms are on the second floor. Please enjoy your stay!"
The Bakumon handed both guests their keys. Tetsu received it and walked with Gryz to the Suite room. to his surprise it's a sizable cottage-like building on size of a suite, connected to the main building by a small, elegant pathway. It looked like the cost of the hot water is already included in the suite as the bathtub have its own internalized hot water plumbing. The room is not too luxurious, but definitely very welcoming. What makes him happy is the bed. It's sufficiently hard and soft. He can sleep well tonight.
Tetsu decided against laying on the bed, but instead to sit on the sofa for a bit. If he lay on the bed, then... without doubt... he'll be sent to slumber.

After mulling it over for a moment, Bors gave Gryz a smile and a nod. "I haven't eaten anything today, so sure, I'd be happy to join you for lunch." He considered arguing against the idea of them treating him to lunch, but decided to hold his tongue, after all, he had a feeling they would be quite stubborn in insisting they pay.. Turning to the Bakumon, who he noticed sent several glances at him throughout it's conversation with Gryz, he lifted a hand and gently took the key from it, giving a nod. "Thank you." He then turned, heading for the stairs and climbing them to the second floor.
Glancing down at his key he saw a tag that said '#211', which he assumed it meant the room it was intended for. Walking down the hall he eventually found a door with the same numbers, using the key he unlocked the door and walked in. While it was quite nice, he found it somewhat small. The bed, while large enough to fit two or perhaps even three digimon, was just big enough for him to lay on, thought he ran the risk of falling off said bed if he rolled in his sleep at all. He also didn't like the loud groan it gave out when he sat on it. The bathroom too was small, luckily the shower head was one attached to a hose, so he could still wash himself when the time came.
After rummaging about in his room for 15 or so minutes he went back down to the lobby to wait for Gryz and Tetsu, well, at least he was hoping they'd come to the lobby. If not, he'd just head to the Terrance and see if they were there.

Thankfully Tetsu and Gryz came not long after Bors. The child seem to be more awake now, and it definitely shows on his wider steps. The Gryzmon also has devolved into his Bearmon form. However, nothing much is changed. His black fur still matted with red lines that seem to form slightly sinister image. However, his expression stayed calm as usual, settling in content zen face.
"Oh, did you wait long?" Gryz asked at the new acquaintance. "Sorry if that's the case. I'll flag the waiter first. Why don't you two pick a spot or something?"
"Sure, sounds good! What do you say, Bors?"
Boy, the child stage sure is really tall. Tetsu himself is quite short, only around his stomach height... Then again, Tetsu is shorter than most boys of his age... only ridiculously far more muscular. Either way, he walked out first, greeting the fresh air with a long inhale.
"The breeze feels nice, huh? I guess it helped that we're near the lake..."
Tetsu picked one that is a slight walk away from the building. Well it's just about several steps, but it's a bit closer to the water for sure. There is a clear warning to not swim here as it's a fishing area. Tetsu pulled the chair and sat there, looking at the water contently. "Maybe I'll try fishing later..."

After waiting for a short time Bors began to debate on whether he should head outside or not. Perhaps they got down here before I did? However it seemed he would have to do this, as he heard footsteps behind him and he turned around to see Gryz, now an altered bearmon, and the highly muscular human child. Holy...I hadn't noticed before, but I'm pretty sure most humans around this stage aren't suppose to look like that.
Dragged out of his thought by Gryz, he shook his head when asking if he had been waiting long. "It's fine, though I admit I was beginning to question if I should head out to the terrace to see if you two were out there already." He then nodded when Gryz asked if he and Tetsu would look for a place to sit he nodded again. "Sure." He then turned his attention to the human child. "Lead the way, Tetsu." He then followed the human outside, who commented on how the breeze felt nice. "Yes, it may have to do with the lake." He then followed Tetsu a short distance, coming to a stop near a sign that said not to swim. While Tetsu pulled out a chair to sit on, Bors simply took a seat on the ground, the chairs were a bit too small for him and due to his height the table wasn't too tall for him to eat at. "I'm guessing you've know Gryz for some time now, Tetsu?"

It's amusing to see that Bors is too tall that the chair pretty much made him unable to eat properly regardless... although to be honest Tetsu doesn't feel that it's TOO high... maybe they can ask for smaller chair for Bors or a bigger chair for him... that way they can talk and eat comfortably. "Do you want to switch tables maybe? I'll ask for taller chair for myself if so."
The question made Tetsu think for a bit. "...Hmmm, a while? Well... uh... come to think of it... it probably has been a while indeed? A year? A year and half? Around that I think. But if you convert that to Digital World time, pretty sure that it's close to four years and so," Tetsu admitted. "So I guess it's really been a while. We have gone quite number of adventures I guess!"
But then, he suddenly asked a curveball. "...By the way, am I really looking that freaky? Honestly I have gotten remarks that I'm putting up too much mass on my body... But honestly, all of these are natural really. Four years in Digital World and train hard so you won't die as quick would make anyone, even kids, to looks like me really. Though I guess..." Tetsu sheepishly scratches his head "...I think I gone overboard, heh..."

Bors shook his head, giving the child a smile as he did so. "It's alright, I am actually quite use eatting at a table like this. Back in the Village of Beginnings they didn't really have a whole lot of chairs my size once I digivolved into my rookie state, as such I had to get use to eating at a table while sitting on the floor. Besides, might be best to leave the larger tables and chairs open if any champion level digimon come out here."
He then listened as Tetsu explained how long Gryz and he had known each other. According to him he had known him for a year in a half in human time, but four years in digital world time. "Huh, you've known each other for quite a while, I can see why he treats you like you're family. Now that I think about it...yeah, I don't think I can remember any other tamer and digimon pair visiting the village knowing each other as long as you two have."
Bors then went silent when he heard Tetsu's next question, asking if Bors found the child freaky looking due to his muscle mass. Had his body language given it away when he was shocked by the human's apperance? After getting his thought together for several moments, Bors calmly responded. "I don't think I find you so much as being freaky as I do find it shocking, after all, I've met several human children that were probably around your age before, but none of them were as....large, as you. Still, I wouldn't say you are a freak. After all, if I were to call you a freak that would be like the pot calling the kettle black, as I am arguably just as much a freak due to how large I am for a rookie." He gave the child what he hoped looked like a reassuring smile as he said this, waiting to see his response before he asked any further questions.

"Well, that's... true..." Tetsu muttered. Then again he wondered if there are many adult stages that would like to sit on the terrace, considering it's a bit... closer to the lake and therefore probably not strong enough to support their heavy weights. Still, if he's used to it then he guess that's fine.
"That's... not really quite long I think?" Tetsu answered. "There are also humans who known their partner practically for about fourteen years Digital World time or maybe more... at that point, they're like an unit. I and Gryz... how to say this... We're not an unit just yet. We're more to bestie, a family... but to call us a unit... we have yet to reach that point. How to say... there are things that I have yet to understand just by looking at Gryz. Part of me felt that he kept some stuff hidden from me because he wanted to protect me, but... that's felt disappointing...
I wonder if only I were older he would open up more to me?" the boy muttered.
Hmmm, so he have met more humans than him? Interesting. Well, them being not as big as him is normal. Tetsu just smiled wryly. It's less of him being beefy and more to them not really doing that much of his sort of activity. After all, most kids that came to Digital Worlds are usually from Shibuya. Not that many are into heavy activities like he do who worked in farm, taking care of the livestocks and have his own field for him to experiment on. Those kids tends to not have a job of their own while he already have that, a job.
To be honest, he felt it might have something to do with genetics, but most of it also factored in how he spent his time in Digital World.
"...Digital World is a dangerous place for human like me. Some kids are happy they have Digimon partners, and some felt they don't really need to train all that much but... I don't feel right to leave my protection to just Gryz. I need to be tough too. What if I got separated from him and I can't hold on until he came back? Humans and fragile and Digital World is too dangerous for us without protection... and some Digimons even believe by consuming human they can get stronger. I should have return when I am older, but..."
Tetsu looked at the lake, and some of the playing child stages. "...Digital World have many facet. Danger is just one of it. Everytime I looked at the roadside, or the city, or the adventure and beauty it offered... I don't feel like leaving honestly."

Bors raised an eyebrow out of curiosity when Tetsu claimed that 4 years of digital world time wasn't too long. He listened as Tetsu explained how he had met humans and digimon who had been partners for fourteen years and even longer for some of them. Calling them a 'unit', and how Gryz and his relationship was more like a best friend or family rather then this 'unit' thing that he described. What caught Bors's attention the most was that Tetsu felt that Gryz has been keeping secrets from him to protect Tetsu, and how he wondered if Gryz would be more willing to tell him if he was older.
Readjusting his sitting position, Bors went silent for several moments before speaking once more. "Well...can you really blame him for feeling that way? Even if your experiences may prove otherwise, you are still a child in the end, and I imagine that there are just some things it is best not to introduce children too. Besides, even if he is keeping it a secret, it may not just be because you are a child. Sometimes people have secrets they'd rather not talk about, even to the people they are closest to." While he said this, Bors mulled over his own thoughts, himself curious now if Gryz was keeping something a secret from Tetsu. Perhaps I'll ask him in private, see if he'll say anything without Tetsu around.
As he thought about this, Tetsu went on to talk about how the Digital World was dangerous, and how he wanted to be able to protect himself should he ever be separated from Gryz. His eyes did widen at the mention of some digimon believing that eating humans would result in them gaining greater power. "That...where did those digimon even hear of such a thing? That is just horrid." He questioned in a tone of disbelief before calming down and responding to how Tetsu wanted to protect himself. "While it is admirable that you want to be able to protect yourself from digimon without having to rely completely on Gryz, I doubt that you would be able to protect yourself very well, no mater how hard you train. Sure, you may be able to take an in-training, perhaps even a few rookies, but what if they are like me? I mean no offense Tetsu, but I doubt you'd be able to take down a rookie of my size. It can suck, but it probably is best to rely on Gryz when it comes to fighting, or hiding until he finds you."
Bors then went silent, looking out onto the lake as well as Tetsu talked about how much he liked the Digital World and how he didn't want to leave. "While I may not be able to relate, I can understand such feelings. I still find myself missing the Binary Archipelago at times, even after the less then pleasant experience I had there. It is simply a beautiful and calming location."

"I know thaaaaat..." Tetsu slumped his body on the table, pouting. "I know I'm a kid, I know it OK? I'm not an adult yet, I don't know a lot of things, and I know I can be easily tricked and I don't really have enough concentration power to absorb every complex thing adult said... But even then I want to be trusted more... I can't help it. I just... I just feel that this is frustrating. I feel like Gryz purposely do all the heavy lifting emotionally instead of me. It's... frustrating, OK?"
Still, Bors commentary made a small yet melancholic smile spread on his lips. It's a bitter one though. "...It's a conclusion that any wild type would come into. Do you know the saying 'to fix your liver, you should eat one too'? Human believes that, hunter believes that... and it's no different from Digimon. Probably one saw human evolving a Digimon, so they thought human's essence evolved Digimon. And they thought by devouring human that means they'll gain more data, or breakthrough to the next stage, permanently.
...Well, there are theories of how human evolves them, but if you asked me, it's the power of bond. Humans like me only can evolve Gryz to upper stages because our bond is strong... But there's also stamina at work I guess. If I'm not feeling well, I can't really evolve Gryz..."
...Still, a part of Bors' commentaries suddenly made Tetsu's eyes glinted. A smirk spread on his face as the child stage voiced his doubt that the boy could beat him. The boy finally sat straight again "...Is that some sort of challenge ?"
Once like a sleepy housecat, suddenly the child in front of him looked like a young lion roused from its slumber. It's not anger, thankfully, but some sort of adrenaline that roused him. He looked like a lion ready to proof his mettle for a position in a pride.
"Hoo boy, that's his bad habit there Bors," Gryz's voice came from the inside. "Sorry for the lateness. I'm checking some stuff with the cafeteria staff."
Gryz sat beside Tetsu. "This guy here... if you doubt his power... as long as you're child stage he'll seriously go at you. There was a rather talented, muscular Impmon in spartan training ground. Tetsu... about a year ago cannot beat him at all, let alone touch him. By then he was already strong enough to face the rest. The Impmon said the same thing like you did. That he's not strong enough and he shouldn't be so headstrong. Human have their limit, and guess what he did?
...He just keep challenging him, weekly. Tetsu's tenacity is another level altogether. As long as he felt it's reasonable to win against someone, he'll do it. Well, he won't have a chance defeating that guy if he uses his named moves, but... if it's hand to hand combat, Tetsu believed that he can win. If you said 'you can't', he'll seriously do it... He's that kind of kid."
"My shifu always said... 'believe that you can win. As long as it's reasonable, believe it. Loss is just a delayed victory. Those who gave up without trying are those that truly lost. If you keep at it, even human can challenge the heaven eventually'. Well I don't believe the last part, but I believe it's important to try everything before giving up. Because that's my creed."

Bors leaned back slightly as Tetsu seemed to go on a mini-rant of sorts, where he admitted that he was a kid, but still being frustrated by how it seemed Gryz had to do all of the emotional heavy lifting. Once he had finished, Bors let out a sigh. "Yes, I won't deny that it can be frustrating. However, and I don't mean for this to be offensive, sometimes we have to suck it up and tolerate such things. However, perhaps it is something you should talk to Gryz about, have you ever tried talking to him about how you feel about this?"
Tetsu then went on to explain his theory as to why some wild digimon believed that eating a human would give them more power, which caused him to snort. "This is why I hate certain folk tales and superstitions, it leads to absurd beliefs like that. While I usually prefer to avoid a fight, I might just be tempted to smack a digimon around if they voice their belief in such a thing"
Bors then raised an eyebrow as Tetsu sat straight up and asked if his claim that it is unwise to fight digimon was a challenge. He then turned his head to look at Gryz after hearing his voice, explaining how this was a bad habit that Tetsu had, and how the last time someone told Tetsu that he couldn't win, and how he proceeded to challenge this individual weekly. "Well, I have to give him credit, he sounds like he may be the most stubborn person I have ever met then." Tetsu then went on to explain how his Shifu, whatever that is, would tell him that a loss is a delayed victory, and that giving up without trying is when you truly lose, and how he has adopted this as his creed. While Bors remained skeptical of the idea, he couldn't help but shake his head with a chuckle. "Well, clearly I won't be able to make him see reason, so I suppose I'll drop the topic then."
He then turned his attention to Gryz once more, tilting his head slightly out of curiosity. "Also, earlier you said you went to check on something with the cafeteria staff, what exactly was it?"

"I talked it to him alright, but he only noncommittally agreed to it... I don't feel like he'll let me do that until he think I'm ready. Well, I guess I'll keep with my usual pace of letting him lead while at the same time slowly make sure that I prove myself to him. He's... probably one of the few people who never let his guard down against my relentless persuasion..."
It's less of a superstition and more to crazy conjecture based on old beliefs he guess. "Not that much voiced their beliefs out like that. Mainly because no matter how you glossed it, it's a crime in many places. If you go to the wild with someone like me they probably would say outrageous shit like that... But alone? Nah. One who attempted to do that usually adult stages, or perfect stage. Ultimates would probably try to pull it if they want to get to Super Ultimate, but really... by that point usually they're like 'meh, some stupid bullshit'."
Thankfully looks like the topic is being dropped. Tetsu had no need to tussle with Bors, although looks like the kid himself is a bit bummed by this development. Eh well. That's fine too.
"I was asking what menus they have to offer, and if they offer any take outs. Then I asked about how big is the area of the inn, and if it includes the river on the back. Then I goes to the front desk again asking what sort of other services do they offer, like spa, sauna, or massages... looks like they do."

So it turns out that the boy had talked to Gryz about the topic before, but it sounds like Gryz didn't really take him seriously and even though he agreed, it didn't sound like he was being too serious. However, it sounds like he was making efforts to prove to Gryz that he could handle the burden. Tetsu then finished by saying how Gryz was one of the few people who didn't let his guard down around his supposed relentless persuasion. Giving a slow nod, Bors mulled it over for a bit before speaking again. "Well, I suppose that is the best you can do, isn't it? It may take time, but eventually you may just be able to convince him to take what you said seriously. You just have to break through that wall of over protectiveness brought on by a...I suppose paternal bond is the best description."
Tetsu then went on to further explain the digimon who would have the belief that eating a human would make them stronger, and that only if they were out in the wilderness would a digimon voice that opinion or attempt it. Well, that was reassuring he supposed. "Hm, I see." Was all Bors had to say to that, as he felt it best to just let the topic die off for now.
Once Gryz had returned and began to explain what he had been doing, which Bors gave an occasional nod to to show he was paying attention, Bors tilted his head slight, curious. "So, what exactly did you find out then?"

"He insisted that it's called brotherly bond. Well, Digimon is more mature than human anyway, but even then I guess he'll act like that until I'm older... older huh..." Tetsu trailed off. He seemed to imagine what it looked like if he become older... And for some reason, all he can think is how he'll be that one meme of 'I'm just a normal fourteen years old japanese junior high school student'... complete with massive, muscular bod. He can't help but to burst out laughing.
"Well, I think I'll try to be more patient I guess." Tetsu surmised between chuckle and escalating laughter.
What does Gryz found? The bear thinks about it before recounting it. "Their protein sources are basically more to fishes with meats. They said it's to differentiate from other inns, so they focuses on fish cuisines. While the other foods are available, the fishes are still the focus... staple carbohydrate includes rice, corn or potato, but breads also available. They said they do have takeout container. The area of the inn doesn't include the river behind apparently. That's more to local place.
I'm thinking to rest in the spa later on the afternoon, then look for the shaman slightly on the evening. The staff said that the local, nearest shaman would be home by then."
