Holly shifted a little bit in her seat, not realizing that her points hit home with the human. It wasn't really a surprise, she wasn't super good at reading people in a social manner. She was just always super friendly and kept that physical desire to hug or tackle people under wraps. As quite a few individuals had said that they didn't quite like it when she did that.
She'd tilt her head however when the other addressed the fact that her siblings must be strong. Honestly when it came to Syre yes that was the case, she was aware her sister could get to mega but when it came to siris? Well he was the weakest out of the three siblings at the moment if you really thought about it. At least in physical nature with him being just at rookie, though that was likely to change sooner rather than later.
"Oh my big sis is pretty strong, she's at mega I think and my big bro is just... rookie I think? Well uh. I think ma had some stuff in mind for him when he joined so I guess he lucked out. To be fair, he idolizes her. Kinda like how I idolize Da."
Holly blinked a bit as the vegasmon addressed the other, asking if they wanted something more interesting rather than water. The human was quick to wave that off and encouraged holly to continue which of course she did.
"I suppose yes, uh... Well. I mean I can fight, I'm really good at it but I don't think people want to see me doing that sort of thing either. But I'd much rather help people like doctors do! I don't think they're really heroes. heroes are big! Larger than life, the sort that you hear about far and wide. You don't really hear about doctors unless they cure plagues, make the lame walk or even cure core sicknesses."
Holly shot a sidelong glance at the human, etching a smile on her face after a few long moments. How could she tell? The meicrackmon chuckled a bit and waggled a finger teasingly.
"Data signal silly! My ma has a really strong one and I can tell her apart from most people around here! She's super powerful, so her standing digivolution most of the time is shutmon. C'mon I'll show you!"
Holly was quick to stand and if hiroyo didn't argue she'd practically drag the human out by the arm. She was really excited to introduce her ma to this human, though she knew that her ma had met plenty of humans before so it wasn't really going to be much on that half. Maybe. It'd depend. Who knew! Maybe these two knew each other and didn't even realize it?
Outside was the normal bustle that was to be expected of rosewood, there were plenty of mon's scurrying about on their own business. But there was one individual who seemed to stand out among them all. A stark white renamon, slowly walking. Cloak billowing out behind her as the wind tugged at her form. She seemed to be reading what equated to the digital newspaper. Upon seeing her however Holly perked up, looking somewhat embarrassed at the fact she miss-guessed her ma's form.
"Or she... is in her rookie form. Jeez her signal is hard to understand sometimes... Ma!"
Holly would wave at her mother, the latter of which looked up as she was addressed. Blinking a few times the renamon would store the newspaper quickly into her infini-storage for later before coming over, returning that small wave with a somewhat cheerful but tired smile.
"Hey there holly. I'm done with my business here, just was catching up on the local news. Who's this?"
K would tilt her head slightly, staring at Hiroyo for a few long moments. Those icy blue eyes reading the human like a book, if hiroyo looked close enough she'd be able to see that the renamon's nose was twitching and her eyes seemed to trace around the human seeming to take in everything about her rather quickly.
"This is Ms. Hiroyo! Ms. Hiroyo this is my ma! Her name is K~"
K's expression never wavered but after a few long moments she'd offer a small halfbow and then even extended a hand for a shake. It seemed that this digimon was quite aware of human social cues and wasn't afraid to interact with them on the same 'level' so to speak.
"I take it your first name is Hiroyo? What brings you to this neck of the woods?"

So apparently digimon above a certain level could just be felt by their presence. Hiroyo wondered if that was something only digimon could detect or if that was something humans could learn. She was learning a lot from Holly, although she had a lot of questions too.
What the heck was a Shutmon?
"Thanks for the food!" Hiroyo called over her shoulder as she slid off her stool. She paused for a moment as Holly walked away to pull out a bit drive with the appropriate amount and then dropped it by their drinks before following the cat outside.
Stepping into the sun was unpleasant because it was bright as heck and it took Hiroyo a few moments of blinking into the light and wishing for a hat before she was able to focus on what Holly saw as the cat continued to talk. "So who am I looking at-oh."
An albino Renamon with a really flashy cape, even at rest, was a very noticeable figure. What was also noticeable was the way a few walkers were giving the white fox a wide berth as if they didn't want to even brush the cape.
Hiroyo blinked. For someone so strong Hiroyo hadn't expected someone that looked like a rookie with a weird clothing habit. She certainly stood out among even the other rookies despite the surprising appearance. Of course something stronger than champion would probably cause the resident newbies to run and -oh.
The form made sense now.
Hiroyo grinned cheerfully back at the blue gaze fixed on her. Someone who purposely came in a form smaller couldn't be bad, right? Although, what was with that name?
"Yes, that would be me! Holly's told me a little about you." She said cheerfully as she returned K's small bow before finishing the handshake as well. Her hand let go of K and rose to Hiroyo's chin as she tapped it in consideration of the question. What could, or rather, should she say about why she was here?
"Well, chance kinda. Got an opportunity for a portal to anywhere and I've never been here before so." She said with a grin and dropped her hand back to her side. "Its nice here, there's lots to do and all of it directly helps someone. Ah, but how about yourself?"

Holly's amusement at Hiroyo's reaction was plain as day, her mother stood out with no issues in the slightest. It was easy to tell who they were waiting for or who they were about to meet. Her mother had that sort of semblance if you talked about them even slightly that you'd just know. It didn't help that the renamon gave off that aura... What aura exactly? Well. It was an aura. That much could be told!
"Cat got your tongue Ms. Hiroyo?"
Holly seemed rather amused with the fact her mother was interacting with what amounted to a new friend. The renamon shot her a sidelong glance while the cat seemed to have a grin splitting her face. The renamon stretched a little bit, rather thankful that every interaction with humans thus far had been extremely simple and straightforward.
"Good things I hope. She's a darling really."
Holly seemed to pout teasingly and K would give her a gently if not amusing pat on the head. Even though holly was a good two feet taller than her mother the renamon still easily did so without even breaking stride. Did she just float up in the air without really even having to do anything else?
"Chance huh. Reminds me of that human song. Something about a train going anywhere. You chose a wonderful place to come to, growing. Vibrant. Honest."
K tilted her head slightly and blinked, the human really didn't... Well she wouldn't know she supposed. Her knights weren't utterly renowned like the Royal Knights. K would gesture off towards the distance, where vander tower could be seen if you really looked for it. The flying island was a little reminder that the knights were here to protect this place.
"Setting up some business for Vander tower, get some supplies. Deliver some things here or there, do a job. Deal with bandits. My knights need contacts and this place is a bustle for a town so young."
"Ma! Ma! Can... Can you show her your jesmon form?"
K paused and blinked a few long times, eyeing her daughter for a moment or two. She'd sag her shoulders and then just shake her head, looking somewhat exasperated.
"I can't just do that in town, think of the panic it'd cause..."
"Well you have that home portal thing right? We could just pop over to vander tower and you could show her there! Then she can go on her way! Whaddya say Ms. Hiroyo?"
"Holly I-"
"C'mon ma, how often do you get to show people those forms?"
Holly seemed to really want to show off her mother who the latter of which seemed to of caved in for her daughter. Really out of all the children she had holly was probably the most spoiled but honestly it was also the sort of thing that the renamon didn't mind doing from time to time.
"...Only if Ms. Hiroyo wants to. If not we've got a few things to do before we can go home."
And of course, holly turned her head to hiroyo. Her face in a big very eager smile. Eyes even twinkling like little stars as she looked at hiroyo with what amounted to the biggest silent please that a child could manage!

"Cat got your tongue?"
Hiroyo grinned at the tease and rolled her eyes but didn't respond. They were already in conversation range of K and picking at a friend when meeting their parent for the first time was rarely a good idea.
The red head watched K and her mother interact with a small amused smile that shifted into something more serious and hopeful when topic of seeing the vaunted Jesmon form came up.
"Ah yes, actually that was one of the topics Holly mentioned! It would be a real treat to see a Knight such as yourself! Ah, assuming its not a problem of course." Hiroyo said while waving her hands in front of her. "I mean, you're probably very busy knight stuff so if you're tired I understand!"
Hiroyo hesitated for a moment at the topic of leaving Rosewood, her thoughts straying to the digivice at her waist. She agreed with K's assessment that digivolving here would probably cause mass panic, but going somewhere else would mean leaving the twins to their own devices. But wasn't she already kind of doing that? It shouldn't be a problem if she came right back, right?
"As long as it's a quick trip I can make it." She remarked as she took a quick look at the time on her digivice and then back to K and Holly. "I need to come back right away though, my partners will be waiting for me."

Holly let out an amused little giggle at the reaction to her tease; k could only quirk a small eyebrow but simply gave a shrug. She was pleased her daughter was capable of making friends on her own and wasn't shut in the library all the time anymore. Even if it meant she'd eventually see something or someone she couldn't handle initially. K's eyes slid to holly however when Hiroyo mentioned that the meicrackmon had spoken to her about the form already.
"It's no problem really, the 'knight stuff' as it was is always going on but it's nice if there's a little pause here or there."
K gave a firm stretch, sure she was tired but honestly it'd give her more the reason to 'stretch' her core in a fashion. Even if it was holding a form for a short time well... It'd eventually add up so k really didn't mind.
"It's gonna be super quick! Ma has one of those fancy portal thingies right to her base!"
"The how it works is still lost on me; but that doesn't mean I won't use it."
K's eyes shifted to Hiroyo as the human checked their digivice. She'd give a little nod and snap her fingers, off to one side there'd be a small portal that the three of them come enter in one by one. Though holly was already quickly bounding into it. K would pause for a moment, mulling over something and then smiling at the human.
"I appreciate you keeping my daughter company Hiroyo, after you?"
If hiroyo stepped through she'd be in a very different place, sure it was just outside of vander tower proper. So they wouldn't be inside the fortress proper but it was still one heck of a sight! Holly was rolling on the balls of her feet grinning ear to ear as she seemed really into wanting to see this form properly for what would of been the first actual time.

"Ah, yeah! She's been great to hang out with!" Hiroyo replied, surprised by K's comment. Just hanging out with someone was pretty natural right? And it wasn't like she and Holly had knkown each other for very long. She nodded to K then stepped into the portal, a little apprehension on her face.
She stumbled as she came out, her face pale. Her first time through a portal and it had left her feeling rather queasy!
Thankfully distractions were an excellent way to move on from such a feeling and there was a rather large and imposing one in front of the red head now. One that stood sentry over its surroundings in a similar fashion to the way its owner guarded the world.
Hiroyo tilted her head back further and further as she stared upward, her mouth dropping open a little. She had seen skyscrapers before so it wasn't the height alone that was surprising her. Rather it was the fact she had expected maybe a castle with one particularly large castle not a freestanding structure that could probably fit a conventional castle from the human world inside it.
"Whoa, this is crazy!" She called to Holly. Her eyes lit up with delight as she looked for her new furry acquaintance. "You and your mom live here? You have to have like, thirty people just to keep the dust under control!"

Holly let out a small chuckle as her ma was being a touch strange about her hanging out with a stranger. Though a stranger that holly could for the most part call a friend! The digimon stretched a bit and grinned ear to ear before nudging her ma.
"Well that's great to hear actually. She needs to get out more and see more people."
K smiled warmly and flicked her ears as she noted that the human was looking a tad out of sorts. She'd of course offer to heal the human with a little bit of her aura; at the very least it'd stop her from feeling Queasy! K had seen the tower so many times that it's majesty was lost on her somewhat but holly being as bright as she was bounced in excitement as she stared up at the building.
"Oh no! We don't live here~! This is where the knights live, I visit from time to time when Ma has to watch me while Da is off doing doctor work!"
K stretched a bit and tutted softly; her face breaking into an easy smile before turning her head to look to the both of them. Her hands were on her hips and her cloak billowed in the wind. She couldn't help but like the reaction that hte human had to her... well. Her everything in this case.
"Just the one actually. A butler named Garlond, he's quite handy."
K let out a soft laugh and shook her head. Holly following suit and snickering, getting a somewhat cheshire grin as she looked to hiroyo. She almost seemed like the devil when she asked this next question...
"You ready Hiroyo?"
K on the other hand sighed a little bit and shook her head, not everyone was ready to see something like this but the question was which one to show her? Jesmon? Examon? Gracenovamon? The last out of all her forms that she would make sure never to show unless she needed to was Omegashutmon, it wasn't a toy. None of the forms were but she was being nice for her daughters sake...

"She's ah, not the only one." Hiryo admitted sheepishly while she rubbed the back of her neck. The red head's social circle had tentatively grown but when she didn't see most of them a second time did that really count? She honestly didn't know if they were okay, or even alive...what kind of friend did that make her? "Hopefully we can go out for shakes again sometime!"
"Just one butler? You sure?" Hiroyo asked with wide eyes trained on Holly. She she turned back to the tower and stared upward then whistled her appreciation for Gerard's talents. "That's really impressive actually!"
Her comment was met with a question from Holly and Hiroyo confusedly turned to blink at the cat. Ready? Ready for- oh. Oh yeah, the main reason they were here. How had she managed that?
"Of course!" She declared, pumping a fist in the air because why wouldn't she be ready? It wasn't like she had forgotten the entire reason they had travelled through the portal because she'd been distracted by a giant tower!
"It uh, sure is nice in the sun." She said as she wiped away a bit of sweat from her face with the back of her hand. It honestly wasn't that bad, she was just deflecting attention away from her moment of forgetfulness."But, if it isn't too much trouble K, would you be willing to show one of your stronger forms?"
