It was your normal day. Benihime had just finished classes and the sky was turning a lovely orange just like her eyes. She was heading back to her room when suddenly saw something shine off in the distance. The shine itself didn't seem totally natural, but her curiosity was piqued either way. Slowly and cautiously she makes her way toward it. She could faintly make out something on the ground, as it seemed to phase in and out of reality. "Could it be a Yokai?" She pondered out loud. She stuck with that thought until she made it to her destination.
"Huh?" Beni said as she looked down at the, "Cellphone?" She began to reach down towards the 'cellphone' and upon touching it she lost consciousness. The world slowly faded to black and without anyone noticing disappeared. After what felt like hours she wakes up somewhere new. "Wha-" she quickly clasps her mouth shut with her hands. Beside her lay the device she had gone to retrieve, it was black and white, no longer phasing, but very warm to the touch. She quickly scanned the area, it looked like a jungle of some sort, everything was so vivid and pretty, almost like out of one of those newnew vi games. "Wow, where did you take me little guy?" Suddenly the device began shaking in her hands and the screen suddenly came to life.
On the screen there were two dots next to each other, one black and one white, they seemed far off from her, but they were indeed moving towards her location. She got up slightly panicked and moved into the brush beside the clearing she was in. After a little while the dots finally entered the clearing.
"You told me it would be here! See no one not a single thing! C'mon sis you're always giving crap about my life, I think it's time I gave you crap about you and your hunches!" When she saw them she almost squealed because of how cute they were.
"Now come on Akira. You haven't even tried looking!" What she saw was a cute looking cat with no legs, just hopping around and a flying bat like creature with large feet and red talons. There was a skull on the bandana on it's head.
"I shouldn't have to Hikari!" Akira says as she flies looking around all over the clearing. The creatures seemed safe enough, but Beni still hesitated walking out in the open. She waited a bit more before she came out. Upon her decision she tripped and came rolling out instead. "Ahaa! There you are... Ummm... Human?" Hikari immediately moved to her side.
"Are you alright?!" Hikari asks.
Getting up from her small tumble, she pat's herself down. "Umm. Yeah I'm okay, we're you all looking for someone?" She asks slightly cocking her head? The fact that they were creatures had already passed, besides they seemed friendly enough. "I can help you look. Though I have no idea where I am..."

Nervous was definitely one of the first words to describe the Kiwimon nearby, as the poor mute fellow had gotten lost, in the jungle of all places! How Horrible. His chibikiwimon didn’t help him find Alraumon directly either. The place was full of twisting plants, but that hardly concerned him much as just the general twin sickness of being removed from the one you shared a digicore with. The kiwimon had little trouble nervously making his way through the many plants, trees and bushes in the jungle area. His chibikiwimon were scouting the area and ensuring an eye was kept open in all directions.
Such so, that when one of his loyal little scouts encountered something, it made some incoherent peeping. Kiwimon noted at the peeping, and hoped it meant his sister was there! He rushed and took some large steps using his long kiwimon legs to reach to the location his little scout was peeping from. Instead of seeing the sister he hoped to see though, he saw a human, a Nyaromon and a somewhat smaller DemiDevimon. The kiwimon stared at them, suddenly having come from the bushes, blinking at the sight of the three. Two small chibikiwimon joined up, resulting in three chibikiwimon accompanying the kiwimon.
Kiwimon blinked and wasn’t sure what to make of the human and the two young digimon close to her. He cautiously stepped back to give them some space and showed no signs of attacking, but he didn’t exactly talk to make a peace offering or anything either… Not that anyone was around to help him tell people he physically couldn’t talk! Oh what a bother he had gotten himself into...

Akari was the first to respond, "Well, if you don't know where we are, then how are you of any help!?" She said heatedly. Her wings fluttered furiously and her mouth clearly a frown. "Besides... Hmm... What's that sound, quiet!" She finds herself looking into the direction of some brush further down from where Benihime came tumbling out of. Suddenly a large bird like Digimon came waltzing out from them, followed by three similar smaller versions of it. "Wh-who are you?" Akari shouted at the larger digimon.
Hikari sat still eyes on the bird. "Seems to be in a peaceful state at the moment, but it might be sizing us up, so be careful", She says this out of experience. "Just don't make any sudden movements and we should be okay." She looks calm and yet graceful even in such a small form as Nyaromon. 'It's not as big as its species suggests, is it an early form, like Akari's?' she thinks to herself. However before anyone could make any sort of plans, Beni acts.
"Oh my goodness! Y- you are so adorable!" Beni says loudly towards the digimon and it's tiny counterparts. Despite it being almost her height she wasn't daunted by it. The feathers, it's eyes, the way it walked.... "You all are so breathtakingly fascinating!" Her eyes sparkled with excitement. That was when she started moving towards the unknown creature. It was slow and cautious, but anyone could tell this girl wasn't threatening at all, just curious as a child in a candy shop.
"H-hold on now we don't kno-" She glimpses something in the hand of the girl as she is so carelessly walking towards the Kiwimon. "Ah! Akari, it's her, she is the one we're looking for!" Akari sees the item too and nods. They slowly fall in behind her, trying to look as non threatening as possible.

Kiwimon had no way to tell them what his predicament was and that he didn’t want to fight them. He must seem like a wild animal to them, something that did not surprise him. He blinked as she came closer and did not take an aggressive position. It was sort of… awkward, the way the human regarded him. He let it happen, letting her walk closer and remaining silent, he and Alraumon had already heard of humans and learned that they were just as strong as a rookie, if not less so. Only when prepared were they dangerous, and this one… did not seem prepared.
If anything, as she came closer, he let it happen more, however, as she regarded him as a child would something with wonder, he couldn’t help but strike a blank expression. She was his best chance to find Alraumon, probably, considering the peeping of the chibikiwimon wasn’t nearly as loud as either of these three, and their eyes would be helpful as well. Getting their help would be a task upon itself.
For now, the Kiwimon kept peaceful, although his expression kept a certain air of awkwardness to it. Despite it’s lack of speech, there was a certain intelligence to the Kiwimon. He didn’t seem like an uncivilized digimon. Infact, he even had a little pouch tied to the side of his body, which seemed to contain some kind of tools. Kiwimon could but hope that the pouch would make them realized he was just a civilised mute. He would also hope for them to be more friendly, but he didn’t know if he wanted this human to be more friendly with him than she already was being right now...

Benihime continues towards Kiwimon, but stops midway. She turns around looking to see if those other two creatures were following her. Indeed they were. She smiles at both of them and turns back around. Continuing, she makes it about three fourths of the way, before stopping once more. Thinking, she looks down to the earth beneath her, then to Hikari and Akari, then back to the Kiwimon. "You can speak right? Like those two behi-" she cuts herself off as they walk up beside her, "Ahem, beside me?"
Hikari is the one to speak next, "You have been awfully quiet... Do you have a name or something we can call you?" She waits for an answer all the while, eyeing the device in Beni's hand. Akari eyes it as well, but her gaze is cold and silent, like a hunter stalking it's prey. She also awaits the answer to her sisters question. That's when all of them noticed something. A small pouch, it seemed it carried something with it, so it must have been a bit more intelligent than what it was letting on.
Beni's smile grew! "Awwww! You even have a pouch with... Uh... Tools?" She scratches her head momentarily, then returns her attention to the bird. "You don't have to be shy, you know. I won't hurt you, they won't hurt you. I think they won't at least. Anyways." Looking down at her hands she remembers the device in one of them. "Oh!! Do you all know what this is? I believe it's what brought me here, wherever that is."

Kiwimon was happy to see she’d try to talk before coming closer. At first, she asked if he could speak, to which he shook his head fervently. His metal mask shook left and right to accentuate his movements, making it all too clear he was shaking his head. He couldn’t speak, it seemed. At least, he deeply hoped one of the three would gather as much. Kiwimon looked to the gaze of the two digimon that had accompanied the human. They were looking at her digivice.
They seemed to notice his tools! Hey, he might be able to use those to help explain the situation! He’d have to be smart with them, though. He looked to the woman as she showed her his digivice, to which he blinked. He nodded a bit. He had seen humans once before, he’s already been in the selling business for a bit, and humans by rosewood were very friendly. He softly tapped his metallic mask against the digivice, and then crouched to softly tap one of the two digimon buddies that were with her! He hoped she’d get what he meant with the taps, or at least gather something. He then stepped back. He went close to a tree, it seemed he wanted to communicate something. He looked to the small chibikiwimon and moved his head a bit, and they cheeped in what seemed to be understanding.
The kiwimon then started faking a smile, and the chibikiwimon starting cheeping in pretend happiness too. And then they walked around a tree, but when the kiwimon was on the other side, the chibikiwimon weren’t there! The kiwimon suddenly did a panicked expression, although it was clearly and act, and started looking left and right! He Hoped this conveyed the message somewhat. As he was busy acting, one of the chibikiwimon peeped and walked up to him, ruining the act. His expression went flat with slight irritation. It seemed even giving these fellows basic commands was hard.

Benihime and the others had confirmed one thing, this bird couldn't talk like Hikari and Akari. "I'm sorry you can't talk really... But there are other ways!" She says, but before she could do anything he tries to give her an answer to another question. Tapping the device in her hands to his forehead, he was trying to convey something. Moving over to the others he tapped Hikari on the head lightly... "Huh? Well it's worth a shot I guess." As Beni moves the device to Hikari, both of them huddle together to see what happens. In some strange blue glowing light the two digimon fade into the digivice. In wonder she looks at Kiwimon, "Wow... So they were, looking for me all this time?"
By the time Beni had looked back Kiwimon had already disappeared. Leaving it's smaller forms with her, "Oh, look at you guys, aren't you adorable!" Looking at them, she looks around for the larger one to no avail, well until one of them finally found him behind a tree. "My oh my, you little guys sure do get lost without your.... Father? Around..." She looks puzzled trying to determine what gender the bird is. "Are you trying to tell me something? That you're lost, maybe?" She then grabs a stick and moves back into the clearing and crudely writing what she just said, in the soft earth. "Can you write?" At this point she accidentally clicks a button on her Digivice and both Hikari and Akari both appear again. They seem happier.

Kiwimon wasn’t sure how to respond to the apology. It was just a limitation of… being him? It was so normal, and so much Digimon didn’t mention much of it. Well, he understood it was some kind of… politeness amongst humans. He had had more human customers before, after all. When she mentioned that the Nyaromon and DemiDevimon were looking for her, Kiwimon nodded fervently. They must have been! This woman must be a fresh tamer!
He then put on his little charades, which didn’t really seem to give her the right impression.. She even mentioned him being the Chibikiwimon’s father, an idea he’d gladly discuss and elaborate on. If he could talk. Which he still couldn’t. She started asking him if he had gotten lost, to which he nodded fervently! Finally, she might’ve understood! Well, she understood enough, at least. At this point, she started writing on the ground using a stick, although it seemed unnecessary. He tilted his head and tried to read the text… Using his beak, he wrote his own text on the ground, saying ‘what?’. However, the text he put on the ground was not in Japanese lettering, like Beni’s. His was entirely in digicode. Perhaps that Digimon with her could translate it? Because he sure as hell couldn’t write in the strange language the human was writing...

Benihime looked at what the bird wrote. She was immediately confused. "Huh?! What?!" If he looked at her, he could tell she was trying hard to figure out what it was he had written, but she just couldn't figure it out. She even sat down in her school clothing in front of it and began contemplating what it was, he was trying to say. Hikari and Akari both looked at her and after a short exchange of looks from one another came up beside her and looked. Yeah they couldn't tell what she wrote either, but it was clear Kiwimon didn't know either.
Akari was the one to speak up, "You dolt! It says what!" Akari was clearly upset by the fact that Beni didn't know what Digicode was. Then she remembers that Beni was just thrown here by them, "Eh, sorry. I forgot you just got here. Anyways, we can't read your writing." Beni nods and looks back to Kiwimon to apologize. Hikari moves beside Beni and snuggles up close to her. Akari simply lands on Beni's head.
Beni just chuckles as this happens. She doesn't mind in the least. "I apologize eh.... What's your name?" She asks genuinely, like she wanted to get to know him. "I'm Benihime Hahaka, the kitty is Hikari, and the bat with a foul attitude is Akari." Hikari smiles and Akari just scowls. Akari then begins to mess with Beni's hair. Beni sits there like nothing is happening, waiting for Kiwimon to respond or write.

Kiwimon looked as she said what. He wondered if she had understood what he had written, but she looked far too puzzled. He sighed, although it was dead silent, just the motion of a sigh without any sound or even the idea of air being exhaled. Well, he understood her, so they could at least communicate verbally. He was unsure why she even started writing. Still though, if the digimon could read it, he could communicate somewhat. As they said their names, he nodded. It seemed they belonged together, but the human was pretty new here.
The kiwimon smiled and nodded! He was supposed to introduce himself now, but that was kind of hard. He supposed he would do his darndest to try.
Kiwimon used his beak to continue writing in front of the human, making sure the two digimon could see it too. On the ground, he first wrote the word ‘Kiwimon’, pointing an arrow to himself. It seemed that was his name. He gave them a moment to read it and explain to Beni, before happily moving on to the next thing. As he concentrated on his drawing, his tongue casually lolled out of the side of his mouth. He carefully used the capable metallic beak he had to write the text ‘Sister’ before making a small portrait of the plantdigimon Palmon! Or Alraumon. It wasn’t like he could colour his drawing in the ground.

Benihime watched the bird do his work. She stayed completely silent the entire time as not to disturb him and make him mess up. At first there was more code, which she was told by both Digimon that it's name was Kiwimon. "Oh! So your name is Kiwimon huh?" She smiles and soon he begins to draw more. He did draw more code, but soon after he drew a picture. It took him some time, but after a bit he was finished. She took a look, as did Hikari and Akari. Benihime was confused of course, but the other two knew what was being portrayed. "Is this supposed to be a mandrake of some sort?"
"Eh, no Benihime, that is a Palmon or it's rare cousin Alraumon. Well Alraumon is rare in our case have yet to see one in our lifetime," Hikari said looking up to Benihime, "Also it's Kiwimon's sister?" Looking at him with a questioning look. "Well I'm not one to judge, but where is your other half? You lose her or something?"
"Hikari or Nyaromon and I Akari or DemiDevimon, have yet to be separated!" Akari looks at Kiwimon with utterly serious eyes. "You do know what that means when you lose your partner?" Hikari jumps up and whips her with her tail.
"Akari! He can't speak, so let's just assume he needs help finding her," She turns back to him, "I'm guessing that's what you approached us for in the beginning, yes?" Benihime just stands listening to her partners, while humming a toon. She looked around at the world again, it was just beautiful, even if everything seemed to pixelate once in a while. This place was something so beautiful, how had it escaped her eyes for so long?

The word mandrake escaped Kiwimon. He had never heard of it. But at least she had understood his name was Kiwimon! That would help. The text did seem to help out, as Hikari explained to Benihime. He nodded at the notion that it was his sister, but his expression had soured visibly as Akari talked. Yes, he could indeed not speak, so it was impossible for him to retaliate to what the DemiDevimon had said so seriously. What a unpleasant fellow. As Hikari spoke and suggested that’s why he approached them, he nodded furiously. He poked at the drawing of Alraumon’s face he had and then looked towards the jungle behind them, pointing at it furiously. The little chibikiwimon with him jumped and tried to point in the same direction, but their little bodies weren’t suited for gestures nearly as much as Kiwimon’s shape. They tried with all their heart though. Kiwimon looked back to Benihime, his expression looking slightly sad and pitiful. It was the only way he could really ask for help, he was hoping the human or the digimon could recognize it and they’d be willing to help him. Kiwimon looked to the jungle where his sister was looking for him. It looked closely packed, every single tree so close to hugging another tree, that one would guess there’s hardly any flat grass ground between the trees. Their foliage reached high into the sky, and interlocked to each other, creating a mass of shadows within the jungle. But more than that, it was much more colourful than something a human would encounter on earth. Trees had pieces of bark which were damaged, revealing beautiful blue lines of tiny digicode, or numbers like 1s and 0s. Other trees had machine parts directly inside them, as if a natural part of the tree. A mix of red flowers, yellow and orange tree bark, green leaves, blue-hued glows and shadows all laid itself bare to Benihime. They hadn’t even walked deeper into the jungle yet, and it was already an enchanting sight to see all this colour, nature and technology intermingling in the weirdest way. An oldschool phone and a security digital lock rested inside some of the trees, both of them being important as a cipher for data, and part of the reason of the name of the place they were.
Cipher Jungle Life just got more interesting.

Yes this place had escaped Benimine for so many years. All the digital parts of this world intrigued her heavily, to the point where she wanted to touch it. However her wonder was overcome by the Kiwimon and it's miniature clones as she finally realized they were pointing to a point in the jungle. After that small display was over with she saw his look of sadness, although it was heavily hidden by the mask. "Wait you lost your sister?!" She pauses and looks baffled, "Oh no! Family is super important, so we're helping, right you two?!"
"Yes we are! Right Akari?" Hikari says as she looks at her sister with those eyes, the eyes that make even the most hardened warrior give in, the puppy dog eyes, but more on line with that of a kitten. "We found our partner, so we have nothing else to do besides adventure and grow stronger, right? Well this is our first adventure!" Hikari was on a roll, before Akari butt in.
"Why should we? It's not our fault they lost each other!" Beni steps in front of her and gives her a very dangerous look, one you wouldn't expect to see come from such a sweet girl. Akari falters, "I mean... Of course we will.... In fact I'll lead the way!" The DemiDevimon rushes ahead of them a ways. "Well come on let's go look, we don't have all day!"
"I still got it," Benihime giggles, "Well it seems we're all in this together. You should actually lead the way Kiwimon, you know this place better than these two... At least I think you do." She smiles brilliantly as she reaches out and places a gentle hand on his mask, "We'll find her. Cheer up!"

Kiwimon made a sort of nervous chuckle… at least, that is what his expression would imply, as there was still no sound whatsoever. It was almost unnerving, but then one would remember the Kiwimon’s cheeriness and friendliness. Kiwimon watched as she convinced one of her digimon to agree with the mission she had set herself out to doing, and Kiwimon felt happy that she was doing this for him! Humans had their place in the digital world, that was for sure, especially nice ones like these.
Kiwimon made a happy little nodding motion and turned towards the vast jungle before them. The Chibikiwimon did the actual hopping and chirping for him, expressing their happiness. They were less his sons or siblings, and more extensions of himself… dumb, little, cute and somewhat impractical extensions of himself. They did convey his happiness and chipperness well though! Kiwimon smiled with a new confidence when Benihime reminded him that they’ll find his sister.
Kiwimon would indeed lead the way to the supermassive jungle, the moment they entered inside, trees would encroach around every part of them, blocking out the light from above, only to show all the data in the direct environment. The trees twisted in ways one would not see in the natural world, and the ground below them was filled with cables of which thin shining lights streaked over, like the visual imagery of a cable transfering data in pulses of blue light. Every time Benihime took a step, she found her feet landing on uneven ground, the thicket between the trees having her step on small plants, little boxes with Pincode buttons on them and bundles of cables of which the entire ground consisted of. As they headed deeper, from between the trees in the distance, small glows of raw digital information could be seen streaming from the trees, lighting up the locations in the distance.
The sources of light were usually blue in nature, but revealed the green glow of the leaves above them, glowering softly with what little light made it from the outside world into this jungle they waded through, the light lighting up hints of orange and brown coming from the barks of the trees, giving the place a positively vibrant colouration, which was only all the more visible when the light actually shined within the area.
As they walked, a little blue line would zip right infront of Kiwimon, like a tiny fairy flying by at ridiculously high speed. In truth, it was a stream of data, but for someone who only knew the human world, the Cipher Jungle was some kind of weird fusion between an office, a jungle and a fairy forest with all the little glowing phenomena. And it looks like the quest of exploration wouldn’t end anytime soon.
Walking through the jungle was hardly a straight journey through the thicket thought. Throughout touching the trees, feeling the strange fuzzy sensation of your finger running through pure information, Benihime, the twins and kiwimon slowly continued deeper into the jungle. It’s there that eventually, Benihime would see a thin blanket of blue streams hanging from between the trees, serving as a sort of curtains to another area, where a teal glow dominated above all else. Kiwimon walked through the strings of data, and they looked like glowy but harmless jellyfish tentacles to Benihime. As Kiwimon moved through one, a bit tore off and flew to Kiwimon’s side, into a pool of water they had just happened upon in the forest. The pool of water was the source of the teal light, lighting up this empty grove.
The stream of data that Kiwimon accidentally knocked off the string fell into the water, and the water rippled in response, however, the Ripples almost seemed to be so much more than just ripples. It was like a pattern of small ripples and large ripples. Any knowing figure would know that this was morse code, to be exact, the morse code represented 1s and 0s, and was spelling out the binary code of the data that had fallen into the lake and become part of it. The lake was crystal clear, and through it, one could see small lights of numbers against the bottom of the lake, as if there was a working screen under all that water. The numbers kept switching as they spelled out a gigantic cipher, each continually changing to ensure the information would not be decoded easily. The entire lake had constant ripples of morse code as data flowed all around it.
Looking up from the water, Benihime would see the teal light reflect on Kiwimon’s leaves and his metallic beak, the entirety lighting up with the teal glow while his brown fuzz remained on the darker side. But what caught the most of the light was a gigantic tree in the middle of the lake, standing tall as the only object ascending from the water, a large willow with streams of blue glowing leaves like thin threads hanging from it’s branches into the water, shaking slowly and reflecting the beautiful teal light the water created. The trunk of the tree was made of hundreds of small, spinning disks, a codex to create a cipher, a master cipher that the entirety of the lake used to hide it’s precious data, whatever that data may be.
Kiwimon stepped forward, and his clawed foot would never land into the water, rather, it would step upon an invisible surface which shimmered for a slight moment, reflecting white light as Kiwimon touched it, indicating it was there. Kiwimon’s foot was positively glowing with all the teal light coming from the lake, and he took another step onto a sort of invisible path that worked as a walkway over the glowing lake, Kiwimon walking on it and letting his underside illuminate, turning around and smiling at Benihime, waiting for her to follow him. The little chibikiwimon would jump onto the invisible walkway situated above the lake as well, excitedly walking to Kiwimon’s side and by his feet, jumping and glowing due to all the light from below, making them look like glowing little balls of happy energy.

Seeing all the sights and watching all the things that happened on as they went, Benihime was completely entranced. She couldn't help but notice all the technology that effortlessly entwined itself in the nature that was all around them. The terrain wasn't as easy to maneuver for her, she tripped several times, but brushed it off. By the time they made it to the lake she was battered and bruised.
What she saw next puzzled her. Kiwimon effortlessly took a step and began walking on top of the water. Beni had to get closer to see what exactly was happening, she did however try for herself. At first it was disorienting, her legs wobbled a bit, but she finally found her balance. Well for the time being.
Meanwhile, Hikari and Akari stayed behind them, watching for anything that might try and surprise them. Every time that Beni had fallen or gotten tripped up, one of them moved to help her up. Beni was of course grateful for it. Upon reaching the lake they kept an eye on her, they saw her uneasy approach and helped her as best as they could. Now they just waited for Kiwimon to lead the way.
