It was evening, the sunset over the horizon giving the cliff side a vibrant orange hue that complimented with the color of the flowers that lined the path up to the temple at the top. It was quiet and there was no sign of any resistance, but Yosuke had no hope that it would be this easy for the entire venture. The temple itself was rather large, set upon a stable part of the fields. At the back of the temple was a cave they would lead into the cliff's peak, which was likely a spiritual place. Maybe that's where they were keeping Toki.
The long-haired human sighed as he rubbed his eyes "Toki...you've done so much, haven't you? You've made so many friends, but it seems you've made just as many enemies." he laughed dryly "Don't I know that feeling...oh I know it so well." he looked over at his Digimon, Gankoomon, who stoically looked out towards the ocean and towards the path. He was looking out for the ones who will join them on the rescue.
The Gankoomon frowned "My friend, you needn't push yourself as much as you are. Let me go in alone. You're in no condition to biomerge if we had to. These villains shall not have this day, I promise you."
Yosuke looked up towards the temple "You can't seriously ask me to let someone else do all the work in rescuing my own child, can you? Oh no, I'm going to make them pay for ever considering harming my family. I'll make sure they'll learn that lesson painfully."
"But what do they have planned for him? If this was just about the black-market then they wouldn't have captured him, as grim as that outlook is. They must be planning something big and I don't like it."
"You're not helping, Ignatius. But you're right. There's a reason they're keeping Toki alive...and that gives us an advantage. They won't kill him, not until they get what they want. So I suppose that's our time limit. Do we have any more information on this 'black-market?'"
Ignatius shook his head "No. Not what their tech is, not even who leads the damned organization. All we know is that some of them are holed up here for one reason or another."
Yosuke clenched his fists "Then we're taking them all down." he tapped his foot impatiently for the others to arrive, but he took a few deep breaths. It wasn't their fault. Don't take it out on them. This was a questionable and extremely dangerous mission. Who knows if they'll even show up?

To say that someone she only knew by name (and the fact they fought a grand total of once together) being kidnapped had been unprecedented was...the understatement of the year. However, Mae considered everybody that she had fought with that day to be equivalently important to her. For they helped save her life, as well as many more.
As such? There was a debt to be paid, in the eyes of the Meicoomon. She responded to the request for aid put out by one Akiyama Yosuke and set forth for the place that was said to be the last known location of his son and someone named Aylin. Sheee...uh. Didn't know who the latter was.
She had to come in via flight. So, the form of Rasielmon was what she would arrive to this venture as. The Gankoomon would see a golden angel fly towards the cliff that Yosuke and he were situated at, before gently landing on her feet near the duo. "Good evening. At least...as good an evening as it can be. I'm sorry to hear about what happened to your son, sir. But I do promise I'll do everything in my power to help save him and his friend."
...Wait, shouldn't she introduce herself? "...My name's Mae. Um. I'm not anybody special. But I still have a debt to pay."

She could only imagine how it hurt.
She could only imagine how painful it must of been to go out on their own, to go after such a place and group of people for such a pure reason only to vanish. She could only imagine the frustration and pain that the father of a particular Toki Akiyama.
A pain that she righteously could feel in her blood, coursing through her data and through her mind. A sort of pain that she could understand, with one of his children being in a position such as this.
She worked herself up in a fury, to her Toki was a friend. To her toki was someone that she trusted to do right and be right in the endevours that he would pursue. To her he was what was good in the human and digital world. A link that she would be damned to pass up the opportunity...
No. Not the opportunity.
She would be damned if she would pass up this blatant attack on what made the digital world and human world so great. What they meant to each other and what it meant to be. A spirit user kidnapped? A black market that sold these spirits to other?
She would crush them, bend them and break them over her knee. She would bust open the backs of these people to find her friend. She would go further beyond what was needed to get him back if she had to.
K would growl a little bit as she could feel the anger roll off of her shoulders. Sure her shutmon form wasn't the strongest form that she had available. But honestly it was the fastest one, the only 'natural' flier out of her group. Well as natural as a wolf that could kick off of air could be. Her cloak only helped boost the speed of her natural form.
What bothered her the most right now, outside of this entire situation was that the location that toki was in was a location she didn't know very well if at all. She had very little information to go off immediately and it made her a little more irritated than she should of been. Well.. Past all the fury that she felt at the idea of her friend being taken.
It'd maybe be a minute or two after the Rasielmon arrived that K herself would make her apperance int he distance. Propelling herself forward here or there as she kicked off of the air itself. Raising her brow at seeing the father of Toki the shutmon slid along the air as though it was a solid object and stopped herself from overshooting everyone before landing on the ground a good fifteen or so feet behind the trio.
"Mr. Akiyama. It's been too long since we last met and definately under better circumstances. Though last time I was far weaker than I am now."
She'd fold her arms and give a small bow of her head. Figuring that it'd be easy to introduce herself at this point with that sort of entry. Her cloak billowed around her now that she was 'settled'. She'd calmly adjust her goggles; eyeing the Rasielmon that was here. A mega judging by it's data signal...
"K. Leader of the Knights of the Rose. I consider Toki a close friend; which means I'd be very glad to help you out in finding where both He and Aylin are."

"And you're sure? Even though you've only met him once?"
"Honestly, we owe him for a lot more than that..." The Blossom Isles was the last place that most would think something like this would happen - after all, this was a place known for flowers and theater! But right beneath the surface, this place had the potential to be a breeding ground for the worst of the Digital World. It was largely separated from the mainland, had its own building structure and economy, and a thriving tourism business.
Denryu wasn't surprised to learn that a few would go missing here from time to time. But the who here was hard to swallow: Toki? The very Toki that stood up to that menacing dragon in the Eastern Timberlands, and who communed with the Sovereign? It was honestly hard to tell what the group was after with that in mind, whether it be a ransom or his spirit totem or something else.
There truthfully wasn't time to think of it, either. Denryu would be the last to arrive: about a minute after the Shutmon, the four people there would hear the faint sound of an engine, Denryu's Mailbirdramon quietly making his approach. Upon its back was the Renamon, Angel, kicking right off the machine and landing a few yards away from the other participants, and her Xros General, Denryu.
Not that Denryu's appearance was natural, either: he wore a theater mask, a hood, and even white gloves to this venture, effectively appearing as a circus performer. Slipping off of his ride, calling Falcon back to the Xros Loader, he gave a nod towards the participants there. There was the Shutmon - the Renamon who had climbed with him up the mountain in Snowpoint - as well as Mae, a hero as much as Toki.
"I take it we're all here, then?" The yellow Renamon gave a sigh, scratching the back of her head. "Name's Angel. I'm here to help bust a righteous dumbass out of whatever mess he's dug himself into," Angel actually managed this in the most earnestly endearing tone she could manage, "... and this is my General."
"Denryu," the masked man clarified. "My sister is a spirit wielder, so I'm here to help crush the thieves who don't know what they're playing with."

It was a huge burden off of Yosuke's shoulders that the call for help didn't go unheeded. One after the other they arrived. Two Digimon, and then the masked human with his variety of partners. He bowed respectfully to the group and addressed them one by one, starting with Mae "To repay a debt is a noble thing. Whatever Toki has done for you, I'm certain he is thankful for your determination to repay him in his hour of need. Thank you so much for coming here."He looked at K for a moment, pondering her appearance for a moment "You're K? So this is your true self, then." he said with a weak smile. "Yes, it has been some time. I only wish it was under better circumstances. We don't know what to expect up there, so I thank you for joining me. Maybe once this is all over we can all sit down for a meal again like last time."Finally, Angel and Denryu. Angel's crass description of Toki just elicited a chuckle from the man "Heheh. I can see where people could see that in him. As long as you're here to help, I will gladly consider you my allies." Though he did look at Denryu and narrowed his eyes "I don't know why you choose to hide your face, but now is not the time for those sorts of questions. If you're here to help, I accept it readily."Once he addressed them, he and Ignatius walked up a few steps before he turned to address the group "As I've said, thank you all for your support. I wish I had more information to go on, but we're walking into this blind. I don't know who we will face, what their numbers are, who how strong they are. But today...none of that matters. They've made the gravest mistakes of their lives and we will make them realize their error swiftly and justly. We will win this day and bring Toki home."Gankoomon nodded with a grunt before he turned while flicking his jacket for dramatic effect. Yosuke started at him for a moment, and Ignatius bowed his head apologetically "Sorry...it's a force of habit."Yosuke just grinned "That spirit is why I've always been thankful to have you as a partner, my friend. Come on everyone. It's time to go."
Once the group was ready, they would begin their journey up the path towards the temple. It was such a tranquil location, not at all the sort of place one would expect such a dark turn of events would take place. They kept walking, yet there was no opposition. Upon reaching the gates of the temple, they were wide open. Well decorated pillars and beautiful engravings covered the structure. "...Get ready, everyone." Yosuke said as he stepped inside. As soon as the group walked inside, the doors would slams hut and lamps would light within the room, emitting a soft, light blue glow. "So the comrades of our associate finally arrive to meddle in our affairs." a voice rang out. A mirror-like object spun into view before revealing itself to be a Digimon, AncientWisemon. "Frankly you should join us for the ceremony. We're going to witness the coming of something extraordinary and an advancement leaps and bounds beyond what we could possibly imagine. You should be honored that young Toki has been chosen to carry out this legendary achievement."

"I've nothing to hide from you. Trust me, this will make things less distracting as we proceed."
"Thank you." Angel's words helped soften the terse tone of his tamer. They awaited the explanation... but, unfortunately, Yosuke's explanation came up rather short. He was going into this operation blind? "If that's the case, a few thoughts before we proceed. We're approaching a den of thieves who steal, corrupt, and turn spirit totems. Should any of you come across any, it's imperative that you do not touch them directly."
"Agitated as they are, they'll use any vessel they can in hopes of escape - and as old as they are, they won't know or care who you are. Without a D-Tector, its remarkably easy to become possessed - whether you're human or Digimon, it doesn't really matter."
Interesting. Did they have experience with this directly, or were they looking into this before?
Soon enough, Denryu would follow Yosuke's lead. Before they would get far, the General would ready his Xros Loader, Angel looking briefly over his shoulder.
"Brutalist and Pirate?"
"No... Ghost and Adamant." Despite the confusing wording, it seemed the two had a relative idea of what they were talking about, and a moment later, five lights would emerge from the masked General's Xros Loader. Two would sink directly into the Renamon's back, and three would converge in front of him. The fox herself would gain a blue scarf, a Reppamon's mask, metal gauntlets and a rapier, without much fanfare. In front of himself, the data spike would be much more obvious: a monstrous Devidramon appeared from practically thin air, cracking his neck as a helmet covered his several eyes, his tattered wings becoming a sheer veil of metal.
Denryu would position himself on the Devidramon's claw, the Renamon following alongside the flier, a few yards behind the mega level Gankoomon and the elder tamer. More importantly, she kept herself in the shadow of the Devidramon, not easily in sight...
... And as soon as they approached the gates, the front door, Angel made her first move. A half-salute was given towards Denryu, before the fox simply vanished from sight, sprinting unseen to try and hide behind a pillar further within. For now, Demon would fill the role as Denryu's partner, the monster already giving a derisive snort towards the AncientWisemon.
"Of course it's above what you can think. A bunch of relic-seekers can't do much on their own."
"My patience with wizards is at a low point after that shit in the forest - and with hunters, even less. But you should know what would happen if two Super Megas cut loose in your foyer." Denryu's tone was more calm, speaking matter-of-fact to the mega level. "You're going to want to change your words very quickly if you don't want me cutting this guy loose in here."
Abrasive and straightforward, Denryu hopefully had the spellcaster's attention. Regardless, the invisible fox would now find herself sprinting through the ground level of the foyer - checking any open doors, the layout of the current floor, as well as any access to the second level!
Angel has reached X3 - "Ghost", Xros'd with BladeKuwagamon and Reppamon.
Demon has reached X3 - "Adamant Demon", Xros'd with Kokuwamon and MailBirdramon.
Angel activates 'Invisibility' before entering the temple proper, and sprints past the AncientWisemon. Denryu and Demon purposefully antagonize the Wisemon to intimidate and buy time for Angel.
Techniques:
PASSIVE - Phantom Warrior Renamon 'Ghost' exudes no data signal and moves soundlessly.
Invisibility Focusing, Renamon vanishes from sight, becoming invisible until a technique is used. Max: 2 Post duration, 3 Post cooldown.

Mae had only heard of one of the other two parties that had arrived. This was Holly and Syre's mother? Huh. She offered a nod towards Denryu. "Funny, I consider a spirit wielder to be akin to a sister as well. So...Maybe this strikes a chord for myself, too."
She then looked towards Yosuke. "I would offer my foresight, but...it's been acting up after a recent excursion. I'll try to help with that where I can, but I cannot...quite guarantee anything." Mae couldn't help but snicker at the Gankoomon's flair. "Worry not, I...uh. I do the same sometimes."
A little embarrassing to admit, but still.
As they proceeded forward, Mae could understand how something so tranquil could possibly have something terrible happen within there. She wasn't a stranger to tranquility hiding malice. The Xros'd up Renamon turned invisible before they entered, likely to scout ahead. Smart move.
Of course, that meant that Mae had to help with keeping the AncientWisemon distracted. A Wisemon, so soon after what happened with another one? Amusing. "I'm afraid I'm going to cut right to the chase. You should not be desecrating the dead. I've no knowledge of what 'ceremony' you're going to perform, but what honor lies in this? Frankly, you should give our friend back before things get...dicey."
...Mae was hoping she'd get a vision by now. Something to give her an inkling on what could happen here. Come on.

With the general's arrival, K's attention was taken for a moment. She recognized the individual that approached. Well. More so arrived than anything. Her icy blue eyes inspecting the arrival for a moment and then flicked over towards Denryu. She had met them briefly back on a mountain near snowpoint to pick up guru. The fact that they were here meant that they likely knew Toki in some fashion or had a stake in it.
Which was properly addressed in a moment as the man clarified what his name was and why he was here. The shutmon's flat expression didn't change, her anger was kept in check about this situation and she'd simply nod when they introduced themselves. She knew them, though the renamon calling Toki a righteous dumb ass managed to get a spark in her eye for all of a moment before she crushed that anger quickly. Her silence stayed even as Yosuke spoke.
He addressed them, Mae repaying a debt, which was indeed a noble thing. He then addressed her, asking for clarification about this being her true self. She'd dip her head in a nod as one of her blades spun around on her forearm. K wasn't antsy, no but she wanted to get started. She'd mull at the thought of having another meal after this. She wanted to agree, wanted to state what or where they'd go. But it felt hollow at the idea; she'd close her eyes and exhale slowly. She could feel her agitation rise, her frustration and the painful agony of anger rolling through her chest. Her voice seemed strangled but her tone was sincere.
"Sounds good. I know a place he'd enjoy."
K crossed her arms and felt her tail swish behind her as he addressed Angel and Denyru. It wouldn't be but a moment but he'd continue speaking going on about how he was thankful for all their support. She'd manage a small smile, worried as it was as they apperantly were going in blind.
Unknown amount of enemies. Unknown strength. And we don't even know where toki is... Tch..
She'd grit her teeth and rub at her muzzle, Denyru and Angel seemed to have an ideda. Then very quickly before they could move up too far would the General bring out some of his army. K seemed curious and stared at the others, Ghost and Adamant? Was those code names? Something that she should worry or expect?
They wanted to take the head here by the looks of it. She'd clench her fists uncertain if she should power up. All her anger and frustration told her to, all the roiling emotions urged her to just level a lot of the place. But another required her to learn what they were up against properly. She'd bite her lower lip rather hard as Mae addressed the fact that they didn't have their forseight at the moment. That would hurt wouldn't it?
So it seemed as they entered that angel would scout. Demon would be a tank of sorts. Mae would help in the fight... Should she consider Ignatius a subsidiary for the moment? She'd rub at her muzzle thoughtfully even as they stepped into the into the 'entry' of this place.
K however froze like a statue when she saw the Ancientwisemon. She felt something stir within her that she didn't want to. The absolute hatred of a particular wisemon that she knew dead flared up in a passion that she couldn't voice properly. The low rolling growl that escaped her heralded the spike in her data signal.
She didn't care if it was an ancientwisemon. It likely knew where toki was and without even a moment's hesitation the shutmon would step forward. The nasty 'swching' of her blades flicking forward into 'attack' mode. Her higher forms were too destructive, her lower forms too weak. If this was a mega she'd have to meet it on even ground if she was on her own but she wasn't.
There was a group here and even with all the pulsing anger, the furious hatred that she had the shutmon managed out a trio of words that was so laced with fury, hatred and a level of disdain that she didn't manage in proper conversation.
"Where. Is. He."

A deep chuckle echoed across the room as the AncientWisemon casually swayed across the room, undeterred by the threats and insults of the party in front of him. He didn't seem to register that Angel existed, which was part of their goal, so that was good. "Ohoho. Be calm, be calm. At the top of this temple's roof is the entrance to a cavern against the cliff, and through that, an ancient meditation ground. He's being kept there, if you must know. Though...our plan is almost complete and it seems you seek to ruin all that our master has been working towards. I cannot allow this. I hope you understand." His casual way of speaking was slightly condescending.
Yosuke grit his teeth and stepped forward, only for Ignatius to stop him and walk in his stead "Villains, the lot of you. An innocent human deserves not the kind of pain you no doubt intend to inflict on him. Let us pass, and we might not obliterate you where you stand."
The AncientWisemon laughed loudly "Aaha? You mean to intimidate me, do you? I won't be swayed by those who know nothing. Desecrating the dead? Far from it! You say things will get 'dicey' little kitten? You are unaware of what you face. If any of you take another step forward, then it will be the end of all of you."
He looked at Denryu especially "Brave words coming from a little human too afraid to show his face. What secrets does that mask hide? What terrible things has those eyes seen and those hands done? Do not pretend to be any more innocent than I, boy."
It was...faint, but Mae caught flickers of oddities. Demon. Beware the demon. There is no escape. Only confrontation. The demon will be summoned. Even the AncientWisemon split and flickered in her vision, one of them writhing while the other remains calm. What did it all mean? Another figure, barely at the cusp of her sight and even then it was blurred and impossible to see clearly stood. It spoke, but the words were hard to make out. "My...ime...ver. Sa...im...ease."
Meanwhile, Angel would find herself in the central part of the lower floor. The room's flooring was beautifully constructed tatami flooring, and various training figures stood in the room. This must have been a place for training and lessons. Beyond where the master would watch over the students was a staircase, but if Angel cared to look, one of the tatami mats was loose. It could simply just be a loose piece of flooring, however.

It could have been a piece of loose flooring, but Angel was doubtful. The group here was responsible for two things: one, Toki's kidnapping, and two, the theft and corruption of spirit totems for profit. Hype Toki's 'inevitable transformation' all they want, but if Angel could locate their stash of spirit totems, then she'd gain immense leverage in the fight to come.
She spoke low into her mouthpiece: "Investigating an irregularity on the first floor. Keep them occupied." With that, Angel would grit her teeth, and pull that mat off to the side. Yes, she might be giving away her position with her motion... ... But it was hardly the most interesting thing happening in the temple.
Demon was hardly impressed by the AncientWisemon's bluster, simply giving a snort at his first few words. The General understood his angst, and with open defiance...
"If any of you take another step forward, then it will be the end of all of you."
Demon stomped right forth, fangs bared, gaze leveled right at the Wisemon's head.
"Whoever said I was innocent?" Denryu not only responded calmly, but he even gave a small laugh under that mask! "Demon. Kill."
"GRAUGH!" With one flick of his arm, Demon seemingly flung Denryu right out of the way, the tamer skidding to a stop as he braced himself against the ground.
No energy attacks, his helmet warned, he's practically the same as fighting Emma's mega spirit!
That meant two things: watch the mirror, watch the sleeves! Demon, however, had other ideas: his hands pulsed with a fierce array of crimson electricity, a fierce dark cloud forming in the roof of the foyer, brimming with static. He'd bring one claw downwards - and with a crack, an impressively strong bolt of red lightning would pierce straight down, aiming to strike straight through his head.
I'll drag his defense upwards... the REST of them can figure it out from there!
Angel, communicating to Denryu via radio, peels away the displaced mat.
Demon is ordered to kill. He opens with Crimson Bolt to strike AncientWisemon from above.
Techniques:
Crimson Bolt Combining the forces of electricity and darkness, from the skies, Devidramon tenses his entire body, the sky above growing dense with a heavy storm. Forcing a claw downwards, a devastating bolt of crimson lightning roars downward, incinerating the target below. Three post Cooldown

How kind of this vessel of bad luck to give them where they needed to go. But how much of that was truth and how much was deceit? No way to tell. Of course, Demon's attack initially went unnoticed by Mae, the vision taking precedence, muddled as it was. She could...sort of figure out what was being said. What she was seeing. My time is over, save him please...? Was that what that figure said? She couldn't tell, but she could infer that something...grim was impending, obviously. She just couldn't figure out how to stop it. It was frustrating. Something that made her frown as she snapped back to reality. Those around her wanted a piece of that spellcaster, it looked...Considering the Devidramon launched an attack from above. Let's...help with that. "If you mean to intimidate me, then you may rest with the knowledge that you have failed." The Rasielmon uttered as she not only took a step forward, but flicked a hand to the side as numerous small circles appeared around the AncientWisemon, yellow chains shooting forth from them to try entangling themselves around the spellcaster and keep him firmly in place. "Many have said that something or other will be my end. Frankly, I take joy in proving them wrong. In fact...I'll take joy in proving you wrong, too.'"
Relevant Passives: Fatebreaker [RAM Upgrade Giga]: This entity has the same mysterious foresight that a Rasielmon would possess. As such, Mae has the ability to divine a potentially infinite number of futures, depending on the level she's at. There are, however, limits to her foresight. For one, the lower the level, the more muddied, limited, and opaque the visions will be. The higher, the clearer. Furthermore, in combat, this is only really applicable as a way to warn herself and others of various attacks. Whether she can dodge them or not even with this is entirely on her. Should she successfully dodge an attack she had a vision of, the chances she can dodge the next one are lower. Basically she can’t spam this unless she wants the hurt.
Elemental Connection: Every three turns, Mae can apply one of five elements to her attack, changing it’s properties and/or appearance to suit the opponent she’s facing. They go as follows: Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Light.
Instinctual Supplement: Fatebreaker ties into this passive--Her foresight is amplified greatly in this form, enabling Mae to have above-average reaction times to a LOT of things. Basically, she’s greater at dodging and/or countering attacks than a good deal of her other forms.
Mae uses Chain of the Lawbringer to attempt immobilizing AncientWisemon. This is meant to leave him open to the attacks of everyone else, namely Demon and K if the latter attacks. Chain of the Lawbringer: Rasielmon throws her hand to the side as several portals open around a foe and chains shoot out of them, in an attempt to immobilize them for a post. Two turn cooldown. Cooldowns: Chain of the Lawbringer: 0/2

K's ears flicked at that deep chuckle, threats. Insults. That condescending tone that he carried in both his mannerisms and speech. Telling her to be calm when he friend was not but a building's height away. The shutmon looked up for a moment, seeming to process what the other was saying. So they had a master that was working towards this, a head honcho of sorts. Well that was someone they'd have to take care of. The ancientwisemon was being quite frivolous with the information he was giving them however and she'd shoot a look over at Yosuke as he tried to step forward. The wisemon variant seemed to have something for each of them; which somewhat worried the shutmon. If they knew they were coming that meant.... She'd glance over at the general with a frown as not only did demon stomp forward. Well the general ordered the Xros to kill? K growled in anger, she wanted to use one of her higher forms yes. But the questions of how many enemies did they have and just who was the master sprung into her mind. Staying her hand for a few ample moments. Her friend was in danger, someone that she cared deeply for. Not just them but their spirit as well. She felt her data signal spike, she felt that anger overwhelm her for all but a moment. That anger gave way to her data signal, pushing her form past what she initially intended. The light of digivolution claimed her; unlike many it had a soothing gentle touch to it even with the sheer amount of anger that K had been feeling on the way here and while interacting with the Ancientwisemon. Her limbs distended, her cloak billowed out further. Those forearm bound blades grew in their newly found sheathes. Her wolfish body now was clad in firm digizoid armor. Golden claws drew back the hood that annoying always started in this digivolution as 'up'. It wasn't hard to really recognize the form that she took. Jesmon was a staple of the royal knights, even if K wasn't one of those mighty knights herself. So rather than move forward like Demon or Mae did, the jesmon crossed her arms for the moment. Letting her sheathes pour out a torrent of tiny blades in the form of rose petals. She'd huff in irritation as she had to wait to command these blades to do something. It was better to get them set up than have to do so later. With both of her 'partners' acting she could take this nessassary step to help protect them or heal them as needed... or even make attacks! Log: -K digivolved to Jesmon-K summoned Blades of The Faithful, Odin's FlockPassives: Valhalla's Regeneration 'Passive': Each post this Digimon regenerates a medium amount of health. When struck by damage, this healing factor increases to a large amount for three posts and goes on cool down for an equal cool down of whatever move was used on the host. If the move was a once per thread move, a cool down of six posts will be implemented instead. OathSworn: Any Virus Type deals 30% less damage to this digimon. [RAM UPGRADE GIGA]: Crimson Mantle: Jesmon's signature cape; adjusted for size for each Digivolution. This cape has a few soft abilities each that scales with the level given. It may provide flight [if the wearer already can fly their movement is increased by one step] and it can block a single attack relevant to the power of the level of the host digimon before implementing a cool down of two posts for the block itself. This mantle may be passed to others but it's effectiveness for others is generally halved. Move:Blades of The Faithful, Odin's Flock: This attack summons up what could be considered at the most a thousand or so of tiny blades, represented by petals of a blue hue. Without direction these blades do nothing but circle around their host. It can be considered dangerous to touch them without being the host itself as they are sharp beyond belief. This move itself does not have a cool down, but the blades cannot operate outside of a fifty foot radius. Naturally they cannot fill this whole space and are usually spread out to avoid too much trouble. Cooldowns:N/A

The AncientWisemon's eyes narrowed in a mocking, grin-like manner as the patience of the opposing party wore thin. "My my...it looks like you really want to get past me, hm?" The attacks all land. The Devidramon's strike cracked the mirror heavily and he found himself quickly being ensnared by Mae's chain.
His eyes brightened at the sight of Jesmon "Oho....Jesmon. Such a prestigious form to take for this wondrous occasion. Though it seems our conversation is at an end. No matter. A few moments of conversation were invaluable, as will this. Prepare to feel the unending despair...of Laplace's Demon!" with those words, the mirror shattered and revealed a dark portal as the AncientWisemon muttered some sort of incantation. The party felt themselves being drawn inside, powerless to avoid its pull.
Soon, they would find themselves in a strange, ethereal plane of existence. They were high up in the clouds, the sun's radiant glow giving the clouds they stood upon a golden hue. Mountain peaks dot the landscape in the distance in this divine, almost heavenly location. However, that was the extent of the beauty. An array of countless mirrors rose up from the clouds and began to rotate around them, all of them bearing the Wisemon's image. "Welcome to my domain. Before you try to puzzle a way out, do not bother. I will stop at nothing to prevent your escape back to your reality. Our goals shall be realized, and glory shall return to the lost spirits of the Digital World!" The AncientWisemon laughed in a maniacal tone as the mirrors spun around the group, their arena in the clouds shifting in a disorienting manner "If you think you can defeat me, by all means try!"
Ignatius felt the 'ground' beneath him "It may be clouds, but it's still physical...." he grinned smugly "Table Flip!" he tore a chunk from the ground beneath him and tossed it to several of the mirrors, which rotated while some of them were shattered by the thrown mass.
"I'm afraid brute force will only get you so far my dear barbarian." he said as the mirrors reformed slowly. Only one of these was the true Wisemon...
Meanwhile, what Angel found in the tatami was...quite different than what she may have expected. A small, old journal that miraculously still held together. Should she choose to read the still legible passages, they would have some passages to take note of.
"The master has been so kind to take us all in after the wars. He has taught us patience. The value of strength and what we should use it for. I can't wait to learn more."
A later entry "He said he's going across the sea. I don't want him to go, but he said there's a lot of fighting in a place called Terminus. He wants to help end it. I should go with him. I'm his top student, after all." What did these mean? Who wrote this? The name was long since eroded. Angel would likely feel a strange emptiness in the temple all of a sudden. Her earpiece would ring out with static. The party and the Wisemon were gone, leaving her alone in the empty temple to explore and find more pieces to a mysterious puzzle.
The the sides of the training room there would be students' quarters. Upstairs would lead to a library and the master's chambers. Where would Angel explore next?
------------
The party has been pulled into AncientWisemon's dimension through 'Laplace's Demon.'
Angel finds an old journal and feels no presence of corrupted spirits.
Ignatius attacks Wisemon with Table Flip.
AncientWisemon's Actions:
Land of Mirrors [Passive]: Within Laplace’s Demon, AncientWisemon hides in a circling group of mirrors all holding his image. There’s a specific tell for which one is real. Solve it to bring an end to the nightmare.
Laplace’s Demon: Through the mastered, ancient wisdom lost to time, AncientWisemon recites an incantation that warps reality and pulls targets of his choice into his realm where he may fight on his terms. The effect ends with his defeat. (Once Per Thread.)
Ignatius' Action:
Table Flip: Gankoomon digs his hands into the ground and tears out a massive chunk out of it. He then proceeds to flip it towards an area with incredible force. (2 Post Cooldown.)

A direct hit?
Demon wished - the moment that lightning cracked through the AncientWisemon's frame, the Devidramon realized that something was wrong. There was no recognition of pain, or even concern in his overwhelmed and outnumbered position. "Puppet..."
"Either an avatar or golem type - hm?" Damn it with this posturing - with Mae's snare holding the AncientWisemon in place, Demon tensed his claws and threw himself right towards the caster, just in time for that mirror to crack open! "Graugh!"
"Son of a..." So close and so immediate, it was impossible for Denryu to find even a single point of leverage - heck, if it could pull in a Jesmon, what shot did he have? Well, none, on his own – but the invisible Renamon across the room, a factor the Wisemon couldn’t have considered, decided to have her say in the matter. Quite literally appearing right next to the General, the Renamon forcefully grasped onto his arm, and threw Denryu further off to the side. Tumbling against the distended Tatami mats well beyond the portal, Angel found herself slipping inside practically in his place.
"This is..."
"Ugh… it looks about the same as Sakkakumon’s field..." Angel stood up, cracking her neck, as anger rumbled from the Devidramon's throat at that assessment.
"Forget about your stupid ritual. I won't be satisfied until I rip that stolen totem out of your decaying core." It was a rough accusation, yes - but one that could also be put on hold. For at least a moment, Demon didn't waste any movement, taking the time to observe the mirrors through his visored eyes.
"Some trick he's pulled, isn't it?" Righting herself, Angel seemed remarkably calm, her partner Demon giving a low nod. "Give me Guru." The fox complied, slipping off her mask, passing it right into the Devidramon's hand. The mask itself seemed to disappear on the very touch, Demon's data signal spiking as he clenched his claws tightly closed.
He growled, considering their chances. Likely, one of the mirrors had an imperfection or a movement tell, but Demon couldn't be bothered to play pick and choose. Instead, he decided to see if he could cheat the answer: "MARK OF SIN!"
At that very declaration, Demon spread his claws open, revealing the deathly bloodshot eye that was embedded into each of his palms. He aimed both forward, then spread them out to the side, finishing with a quick 180 degree turn - such that the palm would face each mirror at least once. So long as the Wisemon looked at it - if he was even affected by such an attack - his eyes would be drawn right towards the Devidramon. From there, he'd kick off and fly a few feet into the air.
If this attack worked, at the very least, the true enemy would be among those looking skyward. "Ugh… damn it, Angel…”
It wasn't by the General's will, but he soon collected himself off the floor, the general standing in the now-vacant foyer of this eerily silent temple. The journal, with its bent spine, was a mere few feet away, the masked man plucking it up into his hand.
The words of an 'enlightened man' brought in by another's scam? It was a curious read, if nothing else. Stowing the tattered book in his bag, the general would hold his device forward: "Realize. Raider." Denryu called forth the one partner he still had with him, a Knightmon.
"You leave that fight behind?"
"Not that I really have a means to return. Angel made her choice." Hoping those words only had temporary weight, the General considered the surrounding areas, before deciding to check out the student's quarters. If these were the intellectual types to keep journals, then perhaps there would be further notes to pilfer through? Seeing the place empty - eerily so - he'd give his order to Raider:
"Help me look through this place. Notes, personal effects - I want anything that could give us a clue about this place. You sense any data signals in the area?"
”None. We should be free to rip this place apart.”
And so they would search, with little regard for the room itself: Raider was quick to pull drawers straight out from their sockets, as Denryu tore through bedding and the like - looking at obvious places one could keep notes, and 'hidden' places one might hide cries for help.
Upon seeing Denryu in range of that portal, Angel uses Kohenkyo, and forcibly throws Denryu forward like an Olympic hammer to throw him out of range of the pull. It works, though it’s a miracle Denryu’s arm isn’t dislocated.
Angel donates Reppamon to Demon.
Renamon x Bladekuwagamon >> Reppamon x Devidramon x MailBirdramon x Reppamon.
Angel degrades to X2 - Fencer. Demon upgrades to X4 - Sky Demon.
Sky Demon uses 'Mark of Sin' in an attempt to force AncientWisemon to give a tell to the real Wisemon. Angel is observing the mirrors, ruling out the broken ones and considering Demon's method, to try and deduce which mirror is real.
Denryu summons 'Raider' in the Temple as an assistant to search and as a means to defend himself.
Techniques
Kohenkyo A short-ranged, active teleport within ten feet. This can be paired with a simple physical move. Two post cooldown.
Mark of Sin Devidramon opens both of its claws towards a target, letting the eyes within cast a curse on an enemy. Those affected find their focus and eyesight drawn solely towards Devidramon, as dark thoughts cloud their mind. Two post duration starting the turn after cast, two post cooldown
Mark of Sin Duration: 0/2 Kohenkyo Cooldown: 0/2

Seemed like seven years of bad luck would come no matter if they broke through that mirror or not, huh? Regardless, they had been drawn into another dimension, one of the Wisemon's own doing, one where he was many and they were but a mere few. Mae had to puzzle her way out of this, no, in fact, they all had to solve this to get out of there. ...She sucked at puzzles, truth be told. But at least they had a good amount of defense with the flock brought by the Jesmon. "...That could help." The angel noted at the Mark of Sin. Yes, yes, this could definitely work to their advantage. She kept a arm trained at the flock of mirrors, trying to discern a tell that separated one from the others. They all had to be looking up, right? So one had to try resisting that lure. One with a will, not these clones...Did they have a will? Who knows.
Mae readies a Holy Bullet, refraining from firing it just yet. She's trying to discern what that tell the real AncientWisemon has that sets him apart from these mirrors. She's watching them. Holy Bullet [RAM Upgrade]: A pulse of light emitted from Mae’s hands, this serves as a standard ranged attack that flies fast and hits with a good amount of oomph. One post cooldown. Cooldowns: Chain of the Lawbringer: 1/2
