That'll do.
A direct hit on Torin was a tall task, even with him thrust into an awkward position as he was. However, Demon's efforts proved quite effective: though the Sleipmon was able to edge his way off to the side, the sheer force of that blast reduced the target's defensive arms to cinder, leaving a heavily weakened mega behind. Demon was not swayed by Torin's bravado, simply giving a derisive snort to the knight.
"I've no respect for a coward that hides behind legends."
Torin had a retort of his own, in the form of a powerful tremor tearing through the ground! Denryu gave a 'tsk', the massive dragon raising his right arm and wing to take the brunt of the assault. It stung, and it tore into his scales - but there would be no follow-up. Aylin would scare Torin off, and for the moment, they would be left with a small reprieve, one that Denryu did not waste.
"Demon, status."
"Arm's still hurting, boss. We switch?"
They switch: with a brief flash of his Xros Loader, the massive dragon vanished as four lights switched - two from the device and two from the Xros - replacing 'Titan' with 'Savage', a black furred Renamon retaining Devidramon's wings and metallic claws. The group stood on guard for the boss, but not before something unexpected came out of this.
K, the Shutmon, had already managed to get Toki back to the group. Yosuke cried out in joy, and the spirit wielder - though exhausted and worn - seemed up for the task. The pair looked on as Toki prepared for the fight to come, Angel giving a smirk as the Tsusagimon appeared.
"Heh..."
"Well, then..." Muttering that, Denryu gave a short sigh under his mask, before he stood tall before the group. Torin had issued him a challenge (whether he knew it or not), and Denryu was going to meet it head-on. His next words came out with confidence, a calm, loud, and firm sense of someone who had full understanding of the situation.
"Savage, prepare Devil's Lightning. Everyone!" His voice called out to the group: "Let's put the brakes on this before they get back - let's break and load the pagoda, and everything inside." The siphon might have had a hand in corrupting Toki's spirit, but not all troubles were created equal - at least two here were reasonably resistant to corruption.
"Mae, work with Angel here to take in as much data as possible." 'Savage' gave a nod, simultaneously hurling that electric storm right over top of the pagoda ("Clear!"). "Our opponents are of 'Mega' and 'Unknown' level. K, assume a form that will be best-fitting to fight a Sleipmon - you want something that can track a fast target. Ignatius, let loose the strongest attack you have at the Pagoda's base, then play the role of a spotter. Put yourself where you can use your abilities the most effectively."
That left Toki. Perhaps tactically, it would be best to have him retreat - to put the objective beyond the reach of the enemy with a quick portal. It had crossed Denryu's mind - but the masked general saw the sheer look of determination in Toki's eyes. There was no way he'd back down, the way he was.
Instead, he simply stepped forward, passing the in-tact journal that he had collected before to the super mega's hands.
Right then, the first crack of lightning would strike right down over the building...
"You know what you need to do."
Denryu senses a weakness in the enemy's plan, and intends to rob the enemy of their ill-gotten resource before the enemy can use it.
He instructs Savage to attack the pagoda using Devil's Lightning. In addition to attacking the building as a whole, if any enemy enters within range of it, they will automatically be attacked by the storm. Devil's Lightning Combining the forces of electricity and darkness, Savage tenses a claw to create a ball of red, electrical energy, before hurling it into the air. The ball expands into a fierce, electrical storm, striking the three nearest targets within a hundred foot range, for as long as its duration. Mae's trick with the portal seemed to work as well as it did the last few times she made use of it, because Aylin got up and proceeded to fire upon Torin in a show of expert marksmanship and using what was once an ally's boon against them. Torin's threat, as serious as it sounded, also felt like the declaration of a coward. That...felt funny to Mae. Funny enough that it allowed her to sober up from the visions as a slab of stone from Torin's attack struck her dead on, sending the still kneeling Ophanim rolling, though she quickly righted herself and stood up, slowly, as though her focus were not on the fight but elsewhere. As though she were seeing things. ... It made sense. What she saw earlier had been pieced together. Those final words weren't from...who she thought they had been from. Instead it was the spirit saying goodbye. Yet it was still a farewell from a father and a mentor to two individuals. And with the opening of the doors, the emergence of Toki (thank the good lord Homeostasis that he was okay) and the passing on of a legend, Mae finally snapped back to reality. "...Alright." She simply stated before the form of Rasielmon seemed to suddenly become covered in glass, and the image of a Raguelmon imposed itself over her. Both then -shattered- to reveal a Raguelmon with steel-gray fur and greenish claws. "I do feel like breaking something today." The beast murmured in response to the general giving orders suddenly. She did want to see how easy it was to break a centaur's back, but that would have to wait. The fiend turned towards the Pagoda and flew towards it. If they were going to break -this- thing, then they'd need heavy amounts of explosives. So, with that in mind, the air around Mae began to shimmer and crackle as the Raguelmon threw herself towards the Pagoda and let loose Catastrophe Reactor, the air around her detonating in a -loud- and hideous green sphere that just expanded out from around the beast.
Relevant Passives: Fatebreaker [RAM Upgrade Giga]: This entity has the same mysterious foresight that a Rasielmon would possess. As such, Mae has the ability to divine a potentially infinite number of futures, depending on the level she's at. There are, however, limits to her foresight. For one, the lower the level, the more muddied, limited, and opaque the visions will be. The higher, the clearer. Furthermore, in combat, this is only really applicable as a way to warn herself and others of various attacks. Whether she can dodge them or not even with this is entirely on her. Should she successfully dodge an attack she had a vision of, the chances she can dodge the next one are lower. Basically she can’t spam this unless she wants the hurt.
Love Machine: Raguelmon, though angelic in nature, is a poisonous beast that blights ANYTHING she touches. All of her attacks have a corruptive property to them that can be amplified to double their damage every three turns.
Fate’s Executor: Raguelmon’s senses are heightened in this form, allowing for quicker reaction times and overall improved agility in combat.
Mae is struck by Might of Valhalla, sustaining a rock to the torso. Ow, oof. She slide digivolves to Raguelmon, discarding a -lot- of her moves that're currently on cooldown with the exception of Fatebreaker. Those will still be noted at the bottom of this log. She flies towards the Pagoda and unleashes Catastrophe Reactor to start the 'breaking' part of the break and load everything plan. Catastrophe Reactor: A combination of TWO attacks that generally do not belong to a Raguelmon, Raguelmon gathers energy from the atmosphere around her before she detonates it around her. This attack emanates enough power that the area around Mae is scorched black. Three turn cooldown. Cooldowns: Fatebreaker: 2/3 Catastrophe Reactor: 0/3 Divine Punishment: 2/3 Knowledge Stream: 1/4 Spatial Relocation: 1/4

K looked down at the spirit wielder, she felt her core ache and she wanted to know what on earth that the other was thinking. The dull sounds of the fight outside wasn't lost on her but it didn't seem as important as the hurt that her friend was going through. She'd want to reach forward, want to do something but she fell silent as he spoke. She knew how it felt to want to rush things and what there could be lost, sometimes you had to do something like this to grow as a person. Seeing the spirit for a moment made the silence permeate itself up until it spoke. She could feel the gentle love that the spirit had for it's weilder. At the idea that it was time for him to rest the shutmon closed her eyes and sighed softly. The Shutmon largely stayed silent, letting this tender moment be exactly what it was. Between the fading spirit and the spirit. Once he vanished K felt her core ache further and she'd mumble softly. "Goodbye old friend..."The metallic tint to the voice wasn't exactly hers but it wasn't something they could address immediately. K wiped her arm across her face and gave it a light shake. Then Toki changed his digivice, from the purple and brown to that of white and blue. K reached out and firmly set her hand on Toki's shoulder. "I've been with you since the start Toki. This isn't the end and I'll be there even when that comes."K rolled her shoulders and followed after Toki. Her expression didn't change as they came down to the stalled fight for all of a moment. She'd clench her hands and would of stepped past the Spirit wielder but he digivolved to something that stunned her for a few moments. She could feel the power rolling off of that form. It was something she'd have to address after the fact, when they had time to talk. Then the general was on the ball, assessing the situation at hand. The shutmon gave a firm nod and she stepped out of the door, past her ally. Flicking her arms to either side her form would quickly shift from that of the shutmon to that of the jesmon. Communication here would be key, she couldn't use OmegaShutmon because of the silence. And if there were enemies afoot that they didn't know about well it'd give them an advantage. She'd roll her shoulders a bit and point at the Sleipmon. "Better count your arrows." Toki closed his eyes for a moment as the others attack and level the tower. The foundations shook and buckled, falling swiftly the the combined efforts of the group. The tower, along with the infernal device inside, was completely destroyed.
Aylin looked up at Toki's new form and reached out "Y-you're...no..." she pulled her hand back "It's still you Toki...right?" she asked. The familiar form was so important to her, but it wasn't her father. He was gone. However, Toki embraced her "It's still me...but he wanted you to know how important you were to him. He's so proud of you. Of both of us...let's keep going. For him." he said. Aylin hugged him tightly before she nodded "Yes...we have some unfinished business, don't we?"
There was still the book that Denryu gave to Toki. He opened it and flipped through it for a moment with a sigh. Tsusagimon's journal...he walked away for a moment to put it somewhere safe for the time being. Everyone seemed slightly tired from the recent encounters and tried to find something within his power to help them for what lied ahead. With a wave of his hand, Toki said "Moonlight Mandala." Beneath him, K, Mae, and Angel, a massive patterned circle began to form with intricate and beautiful patterns. Once the pattern was completed, they shined and the group felt their injuries fade, their strength renewed before the circle disappeared.
Yosuke approached Toki and looked up at the tall Super Mega "I...I have no idea what to say. The fact you've come so far on your own is...all that I could have ever asked for. I'm proud of you, Toki."
Toki knelt down "I didn't get here on my own. I had you...the people I've met...they all helped shape who I am today." He said and trailed a hand down the scar on his chest "It wasn't always easy, and now my spirit finally has the rest he deserves after everything. I'll miss him so much, but I need to stay strong. For all of you."
Yosuke smiled and nodded "You were meant for this world, Toki. I'm sorry I kept it a secret for so long." He said before he turned to walk towards Ignatius "Since it seems we have another fight ahead of us, it's time to stop warming up." Yosuke said confidently before he looked up at Ignatius "Are you ready?" To which Ignatius nodded with a grin. Yosuke shouted "You have an ability called Gungnir, do you? Impressive. Let me show you the real thing!" He pulled out his digivice and called out "Biomerge!" Yosuke and Ignatius shined brightly as their forms dissipated into bright data that converged onto each other. Several bright, feathered wings appeared from the data as crimson armor formed. Sword in one hand, spear in another, the data fully dispersed to reveal "Dukemon: Crimson Mode!"
Toki was surprised that his father and his Digimon had a form this powerful. It was breathtaking in a way. Was this the sort of power he now had? His hand tightened around the hammer as a scream rang out in the distance. He looked up at the source of the scream and his eyes widened in rage "He's here."
Torin was being held by his head by the clawed hand of a cloaked figure. "Hm. This is certainly a fascinating turn of events." the cold voice said. Dark energy burned away the cloak to reveal a terrifying form. White and red armor covered dark red eyes...their cape flowed in the wind. It was Charismon. "Apparently spirits with a strong enough will can burn out the siphon. How disappointing. It seems that rabbit wasn't as impressive as I originally thought...not if he willingly gave all of his power to a human like that."
His grip tightened around Torin "You see, it's a theory of mine that humans who get 'chosen' by spirits are not meant to inherit the spirit's power...no no...humans are like...how to say it in terms you'd understand...they're like replacement batteries. Or a transplant. Yes, a transplant. When humans enter the digital world, they gain their own digital signature, yes? Especially true for so called 'Spirit Warriors.' It inspired me. Everything you heard about a spirit black market was just an unfortunate side effect of my plans to show the Digital World the truth. My Siphon would code spirits so that they would devour and absorb the data of those who use them. Spirit Warriors would be deconstructed and their data would fuel the rebirth of the spirit, allowing them to live again. It's a fair trade, honestly. A fleeting human life for a Digimon's...but it seems Tsusagimon was content with allowing your fragile existence to use his power. A shame...but my next design won't allow for such faults."
Toki and Yosuke's rage built at everything Charismon said. "How dare you spit on his sacrifice like it was a mistake...all of this is because you want to kill people to revive spirits? That's sick...and the Digital World will be better off without someone like you."
"I don't expect a child to understand the work of a thousand lifetimes. In any case..." Charismon produced several corrupted spirits and Torin panicked "Oh? Oh you recognize these spirits, don't you? You know exactly what will happen if I do...this." he said as he began loading the spirits into Torin's body.
"Lord Charismon! Stop!!" Torin screamed as Charismon threw his body into the ocean. "And now the grand finale. Try not to disappoint me, or my creation." he said as the area rumbled. A massive hand rose up from the ocean and gripped the side of the cliff. It pulled itself up, the horrible amalgamation showing itself. Ultimate Chaosmon.
Charismon readied for battle, dark energy crackling along his form "If you really think you're capable of living up to the legacy of the ancients, then please enlighten me."
Toki frowned slightly, feeling pity for Torin's sorry state. Yosuke and Aylin stood by his side. "Everyone...I hope you're ready. It's time to put an end to the nightmare this monster has caused so no one else has to suffer at his hands ever again."

Toki used Moonlight Mandala to heal the party!

"Without a hitch..."
Yeah, just make sure you don't forget the important part, Angel!
"Tch."
Between Angel and Mae's efforts, the pagoda was rendered to nothing but scrap data in a matter of moments, and following right along with Denryu's directions, the fox's body gave a soft blue light, taking in as much of the data as she could manage. A large part of it, she simply vented a moment later - there was no purpose for holding the data of stone, wood, or cloth. A small nod towards Denryu was all it took to confirm that they had what they needed.
With the healing bubbling up under their partners' feet, Denryu gave a nod to Toki as he accepted the book. He stepped away as Toki had a personal moment with his father, calling out to the group one more time. "We'll give it about an hour. If they don't show, clearly they thought it better to leave us alone."
Past that, the moments would go by. Angel would stretch her arms, keeping her eyes to the sky, as Denryu parsed through what cards he wanted to use in the oncoming fight. Soon enough, the true mastermind actually made himself known: a Charismon. "Interesting... Angel?"
"Its powers lie in hypnotism via voice. Don't give this guy the time of day, really."
What a pain it was, unfortunately, that Charismon seemed to love to hear himself talk. On her own advice, Angel kept her ears flattened and pointed away from the Ultimate, as Denryu calmly half-listened to the Charismon's argument. Despite his grand argument, there were holes everywhere in his logic. If his idea was so good, then why did a spirit 'willingly' defy him? Why did the strong will of a spirit matter if they wanted this to happen?
The fact that he could control those around them made everything else fall into place, though. He chided Toki - but the last thing really caught Denryu's eye.
The sheer look of terror in Torin's eyes as Charismon defied him. Under that mask, Denryu gave a smirk, even as that variable beast crashed up over the wake of the ocean. Toki called for everyone to be ready.
Denryu did the opposite:
"EVERYONE HOLD FIRE!"
Denryu's voice bolted out in a loud, confident tone, his practice as a performer paying off in spades. Instead of positioning himself to fight, the General himself stepped forward, the empowered Renamon only a few strides behind.
"Charismon, you yourself are incapable of living up to the legacy you claim. Ancient Spirits!" He directed his attention to the amalgamate beast: "The grotesque form you now inhabit - I guarantee this is not the paradise you wish to uphold. You have been contorted, hurt, and forced into this shape. I ask you to focus your anger and bring it down upon the one that one which brought you to this state."
Looking to the beast, he pointed up, right to that dark, sparking madman. "My partner now holds a copy of the Siphon. Charismon no longer has any unique value for you to follow. He's promised you all a return to your greater selves - but there is something he's denied. If you want your freedom, if you want your future, then rip that self-righteous bastard to shreds! I'll support you with everything I have!"

The deed had been done. The Pagoda had been leveled as though it were nobody's business. The Raguelmon turned towards Tsuagimon as the Mandala healed her. The purpose of this form had been fulfilled for now, so Mae opted to return to her arguably much more well-adjusted mega form, that of Rasielmon. With a simple flash of light, that was accomplished. She had never been in the presence of this many Super Mega-level Digimon at once. ...Made her feel like a fish out of water, in all honesty. The scream of Torin brought her attention to the cloaked figure. The mastermind, who promptly revealed himself to be a Charismon. She hadn't heard much of this specific type of Digimon, but the way that name was pronounced indicated that their kind had a knack for charisma. And, as Angel stated, hypnotism. Probably would make for killer singers. But, that was a thought for another time. This particular Charismon preached this theory as though it were gospel, and in doing so, directly insulted the spirit Toki bore's own sacrifice. There was also a sort of...error here. A fault. Killing people simply to revive spirits was, to put it lightly, just plain dumb. Someone would STILL be dead no matter what. "Killing people just to bring others back...Repeat that to yourself a few times. Go on." Mae uttered. None of that compared to the monstrosity that Charismon forced Torin to become, though. As the Ultimate Chaosmon rose from the ocean, Mae looked to Denryu. Was he actually serious? That thing probably had a mentality that had been comprised of a cacophony of spirits and Torin all within one body. Yet, it'd be more than a little bit...rude to just open fire immediately. Yet the human needed to be protected. With a snap of the fingers and a wave of her hand, two balls of light radiated off of Rasielmon and formed themselves into little Rasielmon-like familiars. They had their orders. They flew towards Denryu and Angel, ready to open fire with their pseudo-Knowledge Streams if the Chaosmon made a hostile action. Which, as Mae determined? Was incredibly likely. Meanwhile, the Ophanim herself began to walk closer to the ever-inevitable fight.
Should she successfully dodge an attack she had a vision of, the chances she can dodge the next one are lower. Basically she can’t spam this unless she wants the hurt.
Elemental Connection: Every three turns, Mae can apply one of five elements to her attack, changing it’s properties and/or appearance to suit the opponent she’s facing. They go as follows: Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Light.
Instinctual Supplement: Fatebreaker ties into this passive--Her foresight is amplified greatly in this form, enabling Mae to have above-average reaction times to a LOT of things. Basically, she’s greater at dodging and/or countering attacks than a good deal of her other forms.
Mae slide evolves into Rasielmon and sends out some Holy Familiars to go into an overwatch of sorts next to Denryu and Angel. Should the amalgamation make a hostile move of any kind, they -will- open fire. Holy Familiar: Mae waves a hand and summons two Rasielmon-like familiars. These are a tad smaller than she is, but they pack quite a punch. They last for two turns and supplement Mae’s attacks with their own, with the downsides of being able to be targeted. Their only attacks are miniature Knowledge Streams as well as basic attacks. The familiars are also only half as strong as she is, and also can sustain two attacks before they dissipate. K bit her lip under her helmed visage, she wasn't sure how Aylin was going to react to Toki changing forms. But thankfully she seemed much... better so to speak. The Jesmon paused when the massive patterned circle formed underneath them, the circle healing them and granting them their lost strength. K would adjust her gauntlets quietly, deigning to stay silent as the others talked. At this point what was she really supposed to say about the spirit that she felt a connection with now gone? She couldn't think of anything at the moment but she figured when they weren't going to be in a battle she could come up with something. The biomerge of Yosuke and Ignatius brought a quizzical look when it was revealed they could form a Dukemon variant. She hadn't seen one of those yet and honestly she felt like she should inquire at a later point in time. The scream that followed suit and toki's simple statement allowed the jesmon a moment to slide her swords out of their sheathes. Then there was some chatty kathy talking down to them while holding Torin in such a way that yielded pain to the centaur digimon. Her expresion darkened as he rambled on and on, honestly why was it the manipulative ones that always seemed to be so damn chatty? However when Torin started being forcibly made to load spirits the Jesmon took a step forward but had to pause when that Ultimate Chaosmon rose out of the ocean. She had never seen one of those either and it honestly made her eyes widen at the sight of it. What on earth was this creature? Then a few things happened at once, Denryu suggested that they held their fire. Well more commanding than anything. K's visage darkened and if that was so going to be the case she saw no reason to waste time. They'd have their answer of what was going to happen in the next few moments. So for now she'd simply clasp her hands together drawing from her deep wells of energy that which she needed for this attack. Mae did the same, preparing for the next inevitable fight. But the question would be is who she should target with her Odin's judgement? If she had to she'd use it on the creature she didn't understand... But the mastermind of the two was a reasonable target as well. Gritting her teeth the Jesmon simply waited... Log: -K is drawing energy to perform 'Odin's Judgement' -K is holding fire... Ultimate Chaosmon's body warped and writhed unnaturally, a guttural, pained groan emanating from...somewhere on the misshapen form. "Gggh...." it chokes out as its arm slowly lifts up. The enormous arm starts to fall, putting the entirety of its tremendous weight behind it "Broooken! Destroooy!" it roared, not swayed at all by Denryu's attempts at reaching to the spirits' sense of selves. There wasn't much of that left, tragically.
Mae's familiars would be triggered by the descending arm, the Knowledge Streams burning into its flesh. There was a calm declaration of "Crystal Garden." from Toki as he tossed several blue colored crystals towards the ground, one of which he walked towards and slowly leaned back as massive, floral structures began to grow out of the ground. Several of them skewer the arm, slowing its descent even more. Toki lounged on one of the growing crystals as it formed a seat that raised him up higher towards Charismon, who idly sways and flies around the crystals deftly. Toki simply stared at him, fingers pressed together as he observed his opponent.
"A relaxed grace ruined by weakness and frailty of your humanity. How can you hope to achieve the same level of greatness as the true Digimon?" He asked spitefully as he extended a hand out. A long battle standard appeared in his hands as he waved it, dark energy raining down "False Prophet!" he called out, the ability continuing to rain down energy.
Toki's makeshift throne starts to buckle under the attack as it shattered, but he simply stood and walked calmly along, crystals forming under his feet in mid-air, the steps adjusting as he danced around the energy. He paid no attention to the scathing words from Charismon and simply met them in combat.
Ultimate Chaosmon's arm finally slammed onto the cliff side, thankfully the force dampened by the attacks. Its data fluctuates wildly, rapidly patching itself up, though the healing is messy and haphazard, leaving the arm weak.
Charismon did not look amused at the mockery he was getting from the other members of the party "A human cannot comprehend what our peak power is capable of. How can they hope to control-"
"Invincible Sword Gale!" A voice boomed as waves of energy lashed towards Charismon, who deflected some of them with his cape, but some got through and made their mark. The flames from Charismon's prior attack burned along Dukemon's armor "A glancing blow...or does it burn? Burn. Agonizing burns tearing through your armor."
Dukemon winced as the heat felt more intense all of a sudden at Charismon's words. "Quiet...you!" he retorted.
Toki and Dukemon faced off against Charismon. The others were left with Ultimate Chaosmon, though if they could find a way past Chaosmon, perhaps they can join in the fight against the puppet master himself.

Crystal Garden: Small azure crystals form in Tsusagimon’s hand as he throws them towards an area of his choosing. They embed in the surface they touch and start to grow into spiraling, floral shapes, cutting and slamming into enemies that happen to be in the way. [3 Turn cooldown.]
Moonlight Mandala 1/3, Crystal Garden 0/3
Dukemon's Actions/Cooldowns
Invincible Sword Gale: Similar to the normal attack, Gale involves a series of strikes, but instead of a close range attack, this sends shockwaves from the blade towards the chosen target. [2 Post Cooldown.]
Invincible Sword Gale 0/2.
Ultimate Chaosmon's Actions/Cooldowns
Fractured Being [Passive]: A negative passive. Due to the chaotic and shambling nature of this creature, significant damage to any part of its body will prevent that part’s use for a time. Cooldowns of damaged parts will be halted.
Chaotic Static [Passive]: Its close tie to its master makes the creature near invulnerable. While it’s not impossible to kill, it would take an extraordinary amount of effort.
Broken Destroy: Lifts up one of its gigantic, lumbering arms and attempts to slam down on an area with enough force to crush even the largest of Digimon in its wake. Uses Arms to execute [3 Post cooldown]
Broken Destroy 0/3 (HALTED)
Charismon's Actions/Cooldowns
Liar’s Virtue [Passive]: Charismon’s words have power, so to speak. If the opponent believes a situation he lays out, they feel physical sensations upon their body. If he describes a weak hit as a deep injury, the pain would escalate, but not actually exist.
False Prophet: Dark energy forms a battle standard at Charismon’s side, who proceeds to lift it and wave the dark flag to rain dark fire upon his foes. [3 post cooldown.]
False Prophet 0/3

"Tch. A valiant attempt, at least."
"All that leaves is plan, B, then. Angel, listen carefully."
Unfortunately, the myriad of spirits that made up the Chaosmon had made something rather feral in nature - but at the very least, Denryu thought of how to make use of that. With the beast slowed by their allies, its little matter for the Renamon to simply scoop Denryu up onto his back and dash out of the way of that giant, lumbering club of an arm, leaving a gigantic crater in its wake. The fox gave a 'tch', her ear twitching as Denryu gave his order. "Isn't that just a little naive to think that-"
"-If it doesn't work, we're still gaining information. Let the bruisers deal with the riff-raff." Fine - with the rain of fire spilling out overhead, Angel extended out one claw, grasping onto a familiar seed pod. It would be thrown, without much notice, straight towards the center of the Charismon.
... Except it would stop short of actually hitting the manipulative mastermind. Instead, the seed pod would open, and erupt forth into a powerful Diamond Storm, raining down upon the Chaosmon. It was a relatively basic attack, albeit one at a Super Mega level. What was important, however, was the direction:
The burst of light came from right in front of the Charismon. And the attack came straight from the Charismon's direction, raining down upon the giant beast. It was a gamble, yes - but with this, Denryu hoped to create the thought that the master, in that moment, turned on its creation!
Savage and Denryu themselves would retreat further away, the smaller Digimon moving to huddle behind the Jesmon's position. "Forgive my master for that, there - sometimes his ideas are a bit too much for his own good."
Angel uses Diamond Grenade in an effort to try and make it appear that the Charismon is attacking Chaosmon.
Angel and Denryu retreat behind K's position.
Cards Used: 1 Diamond Grenade CD: 0/1
Diamond Grenade
Diamond Storm - Grenade An upgrade on Diamond Storm, Renamon conjures a seed pod into one of her hands, and hurls it into the air. After a short duration, a 'Diamond Storm' - a set of enhanced, sharpened leaves - erupt from the thrown seed's position, towards a target. One post cooldown.

There were two things that Mae could take away from this. One, she was right, and her decision to send some familiars forward paid off in that nobody had a hand coming down on them at full force. Two. They were indeed dealing with a monster here, plain and simple. She otherwise sprang into action immediately, her familiars retreating from the slowed hand in time so that they weren't harmed. Rasielmon herself flew upwards, before she dictated a single order. "The shoulders. Aim there." See, those things on the Ultimate Chaosmon's shoulders seemed important, so it was best to see what attacking them would yield. Would it lead to good, or would it lead to bad? Mae didn't know, nor was her foresight yielding her anything. In addition, this creature seemed...resilient. It had to be, given what it was made of...Finding a weak point would be instrumental if they were to find victory today. One familiar raised an arm, and so did another, before finally, Mae raised her own arm. She had words for Charismon, but they would need to be saved. Because for now, she had a pet's balloons to pop. Maybe. The familiars aimed their mini-Knowledge Streams for the left shoulder of the Chaosmon, while Mae aimed her own for the right. Three beams, two paling in comparison to the third, roared out from the hands of the Ophanim and her familiars, headed right for the beast!
Mae calls her Familiars up after their assault to have them launch their Mini-Knowledge Streams once more at Chaosmon's left shoulder, while firing a Knowledge Stream for the right one! The mini streams are each half as powerful as Mae's own Knowledge Stream. Knowledge Stream: Mae combines all five of the elements that she can use for her Elemental Connection passive to fire a beam that can best be described as pure, concentrated unmaking. As all five of the elements from that passive are present, this attack...has no element. It simply is. Three turn cooldown. Durations: Holy Familiar: 1/2 Cooldowns: Holy Familiar: Waiting... Knowledge Stream: 0/3

You can't keep using this sort of thing...K felt that warning run through her head, grimacing a little bit as she continued to draw energy. She felt it reach a peak, a peak that she wasn't satisfied with, it felt hollow and felt wrong. She stared up at this massive being that was a myrid of spirits and Torin meshed into one giant being. The dull thumping of the attacks from her allies, those from her enemies felt oddly distant even though they were even right there. She felt that peak, she wanted to push past. No she had to push past. She'd growl softly and flexing one arm as her allies moved behind her. Speaking towards her, she'd manage a small look, one of understanding and support. She knew why they would even attempt something like that in the first place and she wouldn't even dissuade them. In fact she had anticipated failure and hoped for success; either way her charging up Odin's judgment was just a proper move at that point. Her voice rolled out, more in a growl than anything else. Her feet sliding apart to prepare her for what was going to come next. "Digital hazard."She felt that familiar symbol work its way onto her chest, burning into her flesh. Ripping away from her body that which was hers, churning it into raw energy folded back upon her time and time again. She felt that marvelous boost of energy, it wasn't something she needed. It wasn't something she wanted to do, but it was something that helped. It'd push her further beyond what she was capable of. She was willing to work through the pain, the battle fatigue and the monstrous amount of effort that went into this next. The jesmon didn't just leap forward. She launched herself at what could be considered practically break neck speed. Her arm holding the might of her charged ability in its hand. The warping twisting weapon that bleed masses of energy. She was at the crest of what could be considered her jump in a matter of mere moments, and spinning about she'd bring it down in one dramatic flourish. Some could say that it was a helm splitter. To her it didn't just split helms. It destroyed mountains.
It broke seas.
It cut the sky.
It brought the stars to the eyes of the hopelessIt'd break the ground underneath them and send them tumbling into the ocean if she missed. But that too would be in their favor. She didn't care if she missed, hell it'd probably even effect the other fight going on behind the behemoth of a digimon; though it would hurt them it'd probably just draw attention... make an opening hopefully. "ODIN'S JUDGEMENT"That twisting malevolent weapon shattered upon impact with the solid, it's burst of energy so tremendous that of course the jesmon skidded back once it had been fired off. Her icy blue eyes locking on what was her challenge to get once more back into the fold of her friends. To support them. To protect them. She would cast her own body down for her allies, crush her own dreams if she had to. She could feel that dull pride reach through her battle addled mind; she'd swat it away. That emotion had no place in her. None at all. Wretched thing... Log: -K activated the card 'Digital Hazard' -K used Odin's judgement on Ultimate Chaosmon. Passives: [RAM UPGRADE GIGA]: Crimson Mantle: Jesmon's signature cape; adjusted for size for each Digivolution. This cape has a few soft abilities each that scales with the level given. It may provide flight [if the wearer already can fly their movement is increased by one step] and it can block a single attack relevant to the power of the level of the host digimon before implementing a cool down of two posts for the block itself. This mantle may be passed to others but it's effectiveness for others is generally halved.
Valhalla's Regeneration 'Passive': Each post this Digimon regenerates a medium amount of health. When struck by damage, this healing factor increases to a large amount for three posts and goes on cool down for an equal cool down of whatever move was used on the host. If the move was a once per thread move, a cool down of six posts will be implemented instead.

Ultimate Chaosmon let out a series of distorted shrieks and pained groans as all of the attacks crashed into its unstable form. It attempted to fire something from its cores, but Mae's Knowledge Stream shattered its right core while the familiars slightly damaged the other. It still attempted to call out the ability "Ultima...Bur-" before Aylin interrupted with "Arrow of Artemis!" as she aimed her weapon. A celestial string tied to both ends as she plucks an arrow from her back. She fired it towards the weakened core, damaging enough to break it. From the intense damage, Ultimate Chaosmon recoiled and thrashed, unable to do anything through the pain. Mae might see something with her sight. A faint aura flowing from Charismon to Chaosmon. From that, Chaosmon's body starts to regenerate at horrifying speeds, but its parts still needed time to fully reform...
Even when Chaosmon tried to utter out "Dark...Ro-" a sickening crunch is heard as Odin's Judgement crashes down upon his head, further disorienting the beast.
Charismon's eyes narrowed "You cripple my creations. How droll. For each strike, the spirits within it suffer more...and more...and more. How that guilt must be piling on top of you like an unbearable weight of sin." His gaze turned towards K "Such a wasted effort. That burning you're putting yourself through just so you can cause more pain. Does it even strengthen you or do you simply want to suffer? Let me help with that." With that, he dashed towards her, energy radiating from his claws "Claws of Deception!" as he swiped violently at K's body while she recovered from the heavy attack.
Toki looked over and waved his hand, a starlit shroud flying quickly towards K "Moonlight's Blessing!" The shroud would cover K. Provided Charismon's attack made contact with her, it would burst with a wave of energy against the attacker. Another crystal above his head starts to glow.
Regardless of the outcome, Charismon flew back from K, wincing. In his surprised state, Dukemon lifted his spear into the air "Quo Vadis!" Once the energy gathered completely, he thrust the spear towards Charismon as a beam of radiant energy shot towards him, piercing through one of his shoulders.
Charismon let out a pained shout, corrupted energy pouring from the injury "I'll make you all suffer nightmares none should endure as punishment for ruining our plans to save the Digital World from your filthy human influence..."
"Humanity has made Digimon stronger. Digimon have made humanity stronger. It's a relationship we deserve to share, not one to shun. You're simply too much of a coward to realize that as you cling to the glory of the past instead of the beauty of the present." Toki said, not mincing words in the slightest.
-----
All of Ultimate Chaosmon's attacks were interrupted, followed by two parts being broken. Charismon attacks K with Claws of Deception, with Toki using Moonlight's Blessing to give K a potential counter attack. "Tch."
In hindsight, maybe communicating his plan with the team beforehand would have made this work more smoothly - but neither Angel nor Denryu could complain with K and Mae's efforts to immediately square off with the Chaosmon. Angel looked on at the Rasielmon's continued assault on the beast, and grit her teeth as she saw that familiar icon appear right on the Jesmon's chest.
Going for broke, then?
Focus on the fight yourself, for now.
Denryu slashed a card of his own, powerful vines erupting from the Renamon's back and arms, as the fox herself prepared a number of seed pods in each of her hands. She threw these across the ground in the area below Charismon, while simultaneously kicking upwards, making her way directly to the dark caster!
"I've had enough of your fucking ideals!"
Her intent was to close the gap and directly approach the Charismon, and once she was within range, the vines of the 'Algomon' would stretch from around her, in an attempt to grab the caster's arms and legs. Angel herself would attempt to either grip under the opponent's shoulders from the front - or, if she got lucky, put him in a full nelson from behind.
Anything to restrict his movement in the short term!
Denryu activates the card 'Algorithmic Reach'. Angel prepares 'Diamond Castle' - and afterwards, directly approaches Charismon to attempt a grapple with the use of the card! Cards Used: 2/7 Diamond Grenade - Ready! Algorithmic Reach Duration: 1/3 Diamond Castle: Casting Algorithmic Reach JT-33 Card Name: Algorithmic Reach Type: Upgrade Rank: Chrome Digizoid Duration: 3 Posts Effect: Vines sprout from the target Digimon's body, writhing around like those of Algomon. They are strong yet flexible, whether used to whip at opponents or to grapple with them. Diamond Castle ULTIMATE: Diamond Castle Renamon litters the ground with a large number of seed pods, which burrow into the ground after activation. In the next after use, giant pillars of crystal, exceeding thirty feet in height, sprout from the ground in an attempt to eviscerate the opponent from below. Following this, the pillars remain for quite a while, acting as further cover to hunt down an adversary. Five Post Duration. Once Per Thread.

One thing had been for certain, power had been thrown about the battlefield as though it were nothing. Power, and cards. In addition, Mae, Aylin and K appeared to have crippled the Chaosmon's ability to act for now, via way of THREE. SEPARATE. ATTACKS all being thrown at the monster at differentiating intervals. This was fine. This was dandy. This would've been safer if Charismon hadn't opened his imbecilic mouth and spouted his blasphemous ideals. The Ophanim gritted her teeth as for a moment, and but a moment, the thought of ceasing to hold back crossed her mind. The want to bring everything she had out. And then the vision occurred. Mae saw the Charismon bring the Chaosmon back up after they had worked so hard to bring it down. As her gaze slipped back towards reality, she knew what she had to do.The Rasielmon snapped her gaze to Charismon from the downed Chaosmon, and what happened from there was a little difficult to process. To begin, she started towards him, soaring quickly, and mid-flight, something...changed. In about an instant, it looked as though Rasielmon's brilliant golden body had, for lack of a better word shattered, the sound of broken glass ringing throughout the ears of all that could hear it. What was flying in it's place was much the same as what she was before, except...Her chains were a rather morose blue. Her armor a shining silver. It even flew on wings of blue. Mae wasn't done yet, either, as the image of a Raguelmon transposed itself over her, before that too shattered, giving the assumedly Super Mega level angel a set of bright blue claws. Perfect for what she wanted to do. If Angel could get Charismon into a Full Nelson, the Rasielmon (was it even still one?) would swipe it's newfound claws down in attempt to rake them across Charismon's face. And a good part of his torso. The familiars, meanwhile, had been left behind. They looked between each other. "...What the hell was that?" One told the other, before the other shrugged. They both turned back to Chaosmon, and decided to keep doing what they were doing before. One more Knowledge Stream barrage before they promptly faded into nothing.
Relevant Passives (Now SM-level!): Fatebreaker [RAM Upgrade Giga]: This entity has the same mysterious foresight that a Rasielmon would possess.
Epitaph: This entity has heightened reflexes, thanks to her foresight being enhanced even further. As such, she’s able to think and move quicker in a fight, enabling her to operate at her fullest capacity.
Cipher of the Elements: Every three turns, Mae can apply one of ten elements to herself, changing both how her form looks (in terms of colors,) and how her attacks appear/work for three turns before she reverts to how she was previously. Oh, and her weaknesses change, too. They go as follows:
Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Light, Metal, Darkness, Wood, Ice, Thunder.
Mae...evolves to Rasielmon Preserver Mode. She then activates Spatial Claw, before moving to hurl a basic attack at Charismon since the Chaosmon does not seem like he'll be moving for a bit. The final action taken by her familiars is to pepper said Chaosmon with more of their Streams. Spatial Claw [Loaded Technique - Plot]: Through her view of fate, Rasielmon calls forth the power of a 'Raguelmon', her persona from another dimension. The bestial form appears briefly as a transparent image over her form, before shattering, leaving her with the devastatingly long claws of a Raguelmon. This greatly increases the power of her physical strikes, and grants them corrupting and slashing damage. Three post duration, Two post cooldown. Durations: Holy Familiar: 2/2 - Ends this turn! Spatial Claw: 0/3 Cooldowns: Holy Familiar: 0/3 Knowledge Stream: 1/3

That really smarted, she watched her attack go through with blissful transparency. She knew that must of hurt but the beast itself wasn't worst for wear. Or if it was she couldn't damn well tell. It looked unlike anything she had faced before and it somewhat reminded her of that odd creature she faced back in the Dark area before her death. Not in the same capacity of the D-reaper itself no but definitely something that you couldn't get an easy read on. Then came the babbling foolish ideals and nature of Charismon's nonsense. His gaze and such turned on those that would fight his creation. When he darted forward, those claws of deception poised high. She wasn't fast enough to move out of the way, so of course the counter that Toki provided to her went off. Though with that she could feel the burning of her body twicefold. From the pain and from her own desire to push herself further. Somewhere admist all that was the healing nature of her regeneration kicking into high gear. The curling wisps of the damage from the Charismon and her punishment for using the Digital hazard again lessened a bit. Following suit was Angel and her own attack directed towards the Charismon. Some kind of binding vines; she didn't know what sort of attacks Angel could throw out and she wasn't about to ask. Following suit? Mae changed into something brilliant, causing the super mega's eyes to widen a bit. She'd shift slightly and grit her teeth underneath all that armor. Growling to herself she had to allow her allies to move forward, especially in this moment where she had to take a moment to prepare. Her hands came together and she'd pull out from her own energy a blade. It burned brilliantly, beyond that of her prior forms. Beyond that of her previous, the mixture of her own dying husk and that of her boundaries pushed even further beyond. It hurt to think about stupid things like this, it hurt to look at that sword any other way. It burned brightly, it grabbed her attention and for a moment it looked like she wasn't going to act. Drawing herself up the Jesmon took a moment to shift her pose, draw her arm back and then throw the new found sword at the Charismon. If everyone was clambering to get a piece of that spell caster well damnit she would too! Regardless of whether or not she hit. The blade would snap back to her hand with a fountain of energy around it. Her eyes screaming bloody murder with the glow that started to overtake them. She didn't have the patience for this spell-caster without digital hazard and lord have mercy she didn't have patience with it. "You..."
