The busy area of Shibuya Terminus was as crazy and busy as ever. Zachary was on his own little mission of things. One to get situated more with Shibuya since he moved here and was on his own. But more so, he also wanted to try and find this 'hidden' train station he heard about on the Tamer's Net. Zachary easily walked down the street, his coat snug around him and his goggles on his head-- a little good luck charm he learned grew on him. Despite the busy streets of Shibuya-- Panthermon was able to freely travel and move around crowds easily.
When he could, the jungle cat Digimon would pounce from rooftops or catwalks along buildings-- to going invisible to slip through the crowds without being seen or touched.
Easily enough, Zachary and Panthermon were able to navigate through the crowds and into the train station. Following the instructions he heard, he reached the elevator and entered. He was the only one to take it and waited. As the doors began to close, he 'felt' Panthermon enter as well, having chosen his time right as the doors were closing. Since they grew closer, Zachary realized he could hear his partner-- like a telepathic link between them. As the doors closed, Panthermon dropped his camouflage and sat in the elevator.
"You sure this is a good idea?" Panthermon asked, "Even I have never been to the Digital world. Or at least I don't have any personal memory of it."
"We have to see for ourselves. Besides, with the Digimon that pop up here in our world, It be nice to see their world for a change. Besides, we may get some answers," Zachary explained as the elevator began to descend lower into the basement. Things seemed simple...
... till the counter began to go below basement level 2, and down lower. Both the cat and human looked a little worried.
"An elevator that goes down forever and ever... that isn't good. " Zachary commented. "Well, your a hellcat. You probably be right at home,"
Panthermon gave Zachary a crossed look and growled, the dry humor not appreciated.
After a few minutes, the elevator stopped and opened. What he saw was unusual, to say the least. He found himself in another form of a train station. The platforms were circular along with slicker looking platforms and tunnels, like something out of the future. The trains in the station were normal train cars, except for the fronts, which were odd engines of different color and size.
Zachary took out his digivice, and saw it blink. It was showing the signal of digivices all around, along with other digimon. Even as he looked into the station, he saw other kids like himself and some digimon with them.
"I think this is the place," Panthermon replied as he walked out of the elevator. "Now we just need to board a train."
"To where?" Zachary asked, rubbing his head, puzzled.
"No point to worry about which one when we came here to explore," the cat retorted, making Zachary frown a bit.

The two had boarded a rather unpopulated car and it soon took off. Zachary and Panthermon occupied the first car of the station, attached to a dark blue engine that was now rushing down the tunnel. It was a change from normal subway travel, where Panthermon had to be concealed or invisible the whole time-- which took energy to do. However, the cat could freely sprawl out on the seats of the train as he rested his head on Zachary's leg. Zachary gently patted his head, allowing him to rest.
He was feeling a bit excited, to get to visit the Digital World. Though an unknown territory, he felt like he had very little in the real world now. No friends at school, no life outside of it, living alone...he felt like he had no real connections anymore. He needed a change, and Panthermon was a big part of it. He opened a door for him that he yearned for.
As he patted Panthermon, the train suddenly began to screech and the lights flickered. As the cat opened his eyes in curiosity-- the entire train jerked, causing Zachary to skid along his seat. "WHOH!!" Zachary cried as the train came to a hault and the lights just flickered on and off lightly, as if the power went out. "What happened?"
Panthermon hopped off the seat and looked around. "Something is amiss. I can sense it. It makes my fur stand on end." he growled.
Zachary pulled himself up and looked to the front of the train. "Let's check the conductor. Maybe he can tell us."
The two went for the end of the first car and opened the door-- only to find the train had come to a stop. There was no cabin or engineer station for the engine that pulled the train. Curious, Zachary hopped down to the tracks. "Hello? Any conductor up there?"
The two reached the train's front but there was no person at the helm. For a moment, Zachary wasn't sure what was happening till...
"Please remain on the train till the problem resolves. Thank you" a voice said.
Confused, Zachary turned-- to see the giant engine that pulled the train had a face and eyes, hidden behind the nose of the train.
"The train is... talking..." Zachary said, his surprise slowly slurring out as he sweated. "Must be Tuesday..."
"Pardon us, but what happened?" Panthermon asked.
THe train made a whistle of steam as its eyes glanced ahead. "What does it look like. Not driving through that mess." the trailmon said.
Zachary turned around to see further down the tunnel. A ways down was a large mass of electricity, like a storm in the tunnel. Surrounding it was a mass of black creatures as if drawn to it. A chill ran down Zachary's back at the sight of them. THe reality was they were a mass of Kokuwagamon, feeding off the electricity like ants to a food source.
"This or any other train won't be able to pass with those things there. We may have to clear the way-- "
A knot was forming in Zachary's stomach as they approached closer to the electricity build up. Whatever was causing the wild discharge of electricity, he couldn't see as it was behind a ball of light-- but the Kokuwagamon were clear as day, and were over a dozen of them all buzzing and feeding on the energy.
"Um, excuse me? I hate to be a bother, but we need you all and that giant lightning bug of yours to move. You're blocking the train--" Zachary asked.
But he didn't get far as soon as the Kokuwagamon heard him, their eyes glowed with an eerie red light. All their eyes were aglow, as if they were not really paying attention.
"Zachary! Get back!" Panthermon roared, and quickly got in front of them. "Those are wild digimon! They can't be reasoned with!" the panther roared.
Without warning, the Kokuwagamon entered a frenzy. From the tips of their pincers, bolts of lightning shot out at them.
Zachary quickly jumped back and Panthermon charged forward, evading the initial attack by using his speed. The panther was quick on the move as he didn't hesitate to attack.
"Zachary! Stay back. I'll handle this. What matters is I keep you safe. So keep as far from them as possible!" Panthermon ordered.
Panthermon began by sweeping through the swarm of metallic beetles, all trying to nail him with their claws and static bolts. However, as he passed the closest one, he delivered a fast Shadow Claw attack, which left a glowing black welt on the target-- and destroyed it in a spray of data fragments. Despite being a created Digimon, Panthermon had a vicious, combat-oriented disposition. He easily cleaved his way through two more with his same claws, lessening the enemies.
