Reinventing/Reset on My Character from about....5 years ago?

Hello, everybody!
It has been a looooooooooooong time since I have been on this forum...... however, I am wanting to return to storytelling and writing with others.
I have a character by the name of Jackson Peters on this account, however, I do not really feel much of a desire to play the character as he is now. Would it be possible for me to reinvent this character or possibly have a reset on this character with a new account? I liked the idea I was going with this character (mainly the focus on food with the digimon) but I did not like my execution of this character, so I think a fresh start on him would be nice to have where I redo my whole Xros Journey or even possibly instead go from a Xros General to a Spirit User? I'm not entirely sure of exactly I would like to do but I'll figure it out.
