... Patrasche was quiet, as they glanced up to the moonlight above. It was night by the time the young canine had reached Terminus, at the suggestion of another on Tamernet; and the moon above dyed their fur an inky and dark near-black indigo - matching the night sky itself, even. It made them look an awful lot like a Virus digimon, though any surface scan would reveal them to still be very much a vaccine digimon, and very much a normal Labramon, just... One with an unusually influenceable data composition. Even sunlight and moonlight - or the absence of such - made their fur change color, though it was something that Patrasche had long since adjusted to. It was normal to them, even if other digimon found them unusual.
Though... They weren't here to be a spectacle to other digimon. What they were here for, was because of a particular interest in humans that they had. Humans lived quietly, with little conflict - and humans also seemed to live more organized, relaxed lives than Digimon did. Sure, perhaps they could live amongst other digimon in towns like Rosewood, or Snowflake, or even here Terminus, but... Even then, there was always that feeling, of needing to grow with their peers. That feeling that a fight could easily break out between a pair of belligerent digimon, and even that they could get caught up in the middle, which... The idea of such terrified Patrasche; it terrified them perhaps more than it really should, even by a normal digimon's standards. The fact of the matter was, Patrasche was rife with phobias - particularly to fighting, particularly to pain...
But Patrasche also hated the feeling of isolation and loneliness, and perhaps... Perhaps in the human world, Patrasche will find a friend? Someone who they don't have to fight with, but could also be friends with, someone that could help them hide if digimon really had to live in secrecy in the human world... There'd be... There'd be no hurt, no pain, no more...
Gnashing of teeth and claws, a mother ushering her to run, run as far as she could-
Patrasche would flinch, shaking their head, unable to help a soft, sorrowful whine in their throat. No, no, don't think about that... Just... Keep walking. Even if you're still grieving, just keep walking. Maybe find somewhere to sleep the night, maybe learn more about humans and living with them... If this was where humans crossed between the two worlds, then that notion was already so closeby - they could practically taste it. A quiet life....
Patrasche would really like a quiet life...

While the Human World was the Silver Fox's chosen home, she still returned to the Digital World regularly, if only to check up on her family in the north occasionally. This night, Inari was merely on her way back home, after having spent all day combing Terminus for the mother of a lost Swimmon she had found swimming in the Nihonbashi some days ago. It was good fortune then that she stumbled upon another lost one requiring aid. She spotted the Labramon from a distance, and approached slowly. The sorrowful whine filled the silver Renamon with deep sympathy. Eventually catching up to Patrasche, she pulled a crossaint from her back, and offered it to the lost dog. "Do you need help, little one?"

"Mei~"
A Meicoomon with a ribbon on her neck jumped from buildings to buildings. She doesn't have any destination, nope... just overall stretching some muscles. It's been a while after all. Still, this is the first time she gone to the Digital World. Her partner isn't with her today... mainly because she's here to scout! Of course in case of danger she'll run away. She's not a fighter, just a mere healing hand.
Now what she spies with her big, green eyes? An oddly colored dog! How strange... wait, if her database is right... This should be those so called Labramons! How cute! But they doesn't looks like a normal Labramon though?
"Mei~"
The Meicoomon hopped down from the roof, straight to the first floor, feet first. Not even a sound is made. From the alleyway, her bright, green eyes with crossed pupils are what would announce to the two strangers that she's in fact approaching them.
"Mei~ It's cold night, why are you two out like this? Are you two lost or just stretching some muscles like Mei~? Are you hurt? Do you need some... helping hands? If you want some heals, Mei can give it to you as long as you give Mei a hug~"

Patrasche would pick up a distant scent, at Inari's approach - and they'd glance up to see the Renamon up ahead. At first, the littla Labramon froze in place; wary, uncertain. Though Terminus tended to still have people milling about at this time of night, they were far more scattered and few; which in Patrasche's wary (and perhaps paranoid, even) mind, meant there was a higher risk of being jumped by another digimon. Frozen in place, they couldn't help but debate whether to bolt, or to stand their ground and try to talk - they didn't want to fight, that much was for sure. Either way, it seemed that the Renamon had noticed them as well - and was approaching, and...
...
... took the time to offer Patrasche a crossaint?
... It took a second for the little Labramon to properly register the offer, but once it clicked in their head, Patrasche would realize that they were... Actually pretty hungry, it had been awhile since they had something to eat. Gingerly, they'd take the crossaint in their mouth - being mindful of Inari all the whilst - before sitting on their haunches to munch it down as Inari asked her question; Did they need help...? ... Patrasche pondered the question for a second, unsure of how to respond at first, but they supposed they'd start with a simple thank you.
"I... um... Thank you for the food," They'd start, peering up to Inari somewhat timidly; the little canine being notably shy. "I was, uhm... Looking for how to get to the human world?" They'd ask, in a sort-of-question. "I want to live with humans, but I don't really... know how to go about it." Maybe this digimon knew some stuff about living with humans, Patrasche wondered; almost hopeful, for some advice or directions; especially if digimon had to hide in secrecy like that one person, mentioned before on the Tamernet...
But, before they could get any answer from Inari, a sound from one of the alleyways would draw Patrasche's attention - an ear pricking. Bright green eyes shone from the darkness, and the little Labramon couldn't help but tense, shuffling behind Inari incase the digimon in the alleyway turned out to be aggressive at all. But, no, it seemed this digimon was but another friendly soul - a Meicoomon this time. Patrasche blinked, tilting their head a little at the questions, before shaking their head. "I-I'm okay, thank you." They'd respond, adding "I just... am looking for a way to live with another human."
It was then though, that Patrasche realized that maybe they were being a little rude, not getting to know either of these digimon - let alone introducing themselves! "I'm, well..." They'd murmur shyly, before speaking up "By the way, my name is, uhm, Patrasche... Is it okay if I ask who you two are?"

Ah, it would seem that a cat had joined their group. A very enthusiastic one. Inari could not help but smile, and bow at the new arrival. "Nice to meet you, Mei. I am only on my way home." She then turned to bow to the Labramon. "And it is nice to meet you, Patrasche. I am Yamashina no Inari, but you can call me just Inari. You wish to go to the Human World? You are in luck. It is my speciality to help Digimon get settled in the Human World. Ah, but living with a human..." That was Inari's weakspot. She wasn't too trusting of humans in the human world when it comes to Digimon. Chances are when they see one they scream and run away, alerting Them. She turned to Mei again. "Mayhaps our new friend Mei knows a thing or two about that?"

Hmmm? Not wounded? Well that's good. Mei preferred that rather than needing to heal. The Meicoomon nodded happily, as if seem to be content that no one is hurt today. The two doesn't really look all that guarded against her. The gogglegirl said that Meicoomons are hated... but these two doesn't seem to react to her species at all. It must be some sort of mistake, right? Mei is content with this development.
Mmmm, the Labramon looked sad though... Should she pry? Or maybe no? Still, the word 'human' caught her attention. Why does this guy wanted to live with a human? Well she understand if they're a chosen's Digimon, but if not? Ah but first, introduction.
"Mei is Mei~" Mei answered. "Mei is a friendly Meicoomon, so you shouldn't worry! Patra-chan want to live with human? Is Patra-chan somehow related to any humans like Mei does?" the Meicoomon asked. "Mei lives with Mei~" this is where probably the conversation will get a bit confusing, as both the Digimon and the human are named 'Mei'. "Mei cannot help Patra-chan finding Patra-chan's partner, but Mei sure can help Patra-chan cross to the other side. Inari-chan seem to know the way too!
Finding the right human for Patra-chan must come from the heart. Does Patra-chan ever felt like they have yearning to be with someone special? If Patra-chan do, Patra-chan must follow that, just like Mei~! After all, Mei has been following Mei for seven years since Mei is a wee gal~"

So they both knew a bit about going to the Human World, just not necessarily finding a human to live with... Patrasche supposed it wouldn't be easy - most humans didn't know about digimon, from what they understood, and you couldn't exactly just go up to someone and ask for a place to stay... In fact, with that thought, they couldn't help but wonder for a moment if this was a good idea - if they shouldn't reconsider, but...
... They wanted to just live someplace quiet and calm. Calmer and quieter than the lives digimon tended to lead, at least, with all the things they've heard of in the gossip of other digimon - from Demon Lords to Reapers to other travesties and whatnot. Travesties that could very well draw closer to home than they'd like.
Patrasche would turn their attention to Mei, as she talked - being a... Little puzzled, over the way that Mei seemed to talk in third person. And Mei... lives with Mei? Yeah, this was definitely getting confused for the little Labramon. At the question of whether they were related to any humans though, Patrasche would shake their head - "I, uhm... Don't know any humans..." They'd murmur - adding "I was... Hoping to maybe find one, but... I'm starting to wonder if maybe I'm a little in over my head in this..." Patrasche's ears and tail drooped a hair with this, as they glanced down at their paws - wondering, thinking...
"... I don't... know if I have a yearning for a specific person...?" They'd murmur, voice soft. "But I've... Always sort of wanted to live with humans, ever since I heard about them... Live somewhere quiet, peaceful, away from all the troubles this world seems to face time and again, away from all the fighting..."

The silver fox gave a warm smile, and gently patted the Labramon on the head. "I may not be able to find you a human partner, but, I can lead you to the Human World, and offer you a home until you have found your human." She put on her robe and pulled over her hood. "Follow me, both of you, we'll go to the human world." Inari then walked on head, towards the station. She's traveled between the two worlds so often, the Trailmon recognised her by now. Boarding a train and riding over to the human world no problem.

Eh? Doesn't know any human? No lead at all? "...Mei... Mei think that's a bit dangerous in that case..." her ears drooped slightly. "Patra-chan might be treated like a stray dog... and that's not good... Mei have no idea if Mei can help Patra-chan for a while until Patra-chan find the right human or not but.... Mei have to ask Mei first before that..."
Real world have its troubles too, but Mei the Meicoomon seem to be in conclusion that saying so to Patrasche probably not the best thing to do. The Meicoomon regardless will try her best to help her new acquaintance to settle in real world.
"Well, Mei guess asking Mei won't hurt... As long as Patra-chan promise to follow Mei's words carefully, Mei promise Mei will try as hard as she can to convince Mei to help!"
Well then, either way, time to guide the Labramon right? "Ah, ah, Mei forgot, but Mei have this..." Mei offered her tunamayo onigiri to Patrasche. "Patra-chan should eat more first! The journey there will be a bit long!"

The headpat from Inari would make Patrasche jolt a bit in surprise, shying away at from the contact at first. But when the surprise faded, they seemed to warm up to it, unable to help wagging their tail a little; glancing aside sheepishly over having been all shy and surprised at it. Of course. It was just a headpat. ... They'd snap back to attention though, as Mei and Inari talked - mentioning how it'd be dangerous to go into the Human World with no lead on any humans, and how they could both help - even if... Mei had to ask Mei first? - and offer a place to stay...
"I'd... like that, both of you, thank you." Patrasche murmured in response, standing up. As Mei requested that Patrasche promise to follow her words (Or was it Mei's words?) carefully though, Patrasche would pause for a second - almost warily thinking it over. They were quiet for a few seconds, unsure of what that promise might entail - but... They wanted to be able to settle down with other humans as well... ... Patrasche would eventually come to the conclusion that this would, hopefully, be worth it though - nodding to Mei. "... Alright, I, uhm... I promise." They'd murmur.
They would go to follow Inari initially - but then Mei would... Offer the little Labramon food, as well? What was up with strangers and food tonight...? Patrasche would glance to the offered onigiri and sniff it - it... smelled a little fishy, but they guessed that that was to be expected for a cat digimon. But they weren't picky; they would nod at Mei's suggestion to eat more, and would carefully take the offered onigiri in their mouth - chewing it and swallowing it down. "... Thank you," Patrasche murmured to Mei, tail slowly wagging as they licked their chops - getting any bits of rice that were stuck there - as they went to follow after Inari proper.

Inari nodded at Mei's worries. "Your worries are most well founded, but fret not. I have lived among humans for decades. I know how to evade their gazes until we have reached a safe haven."
The fox then led them to the Trailmon terminal, to the tracks. There, a Worm-type Trailmon was already waiting. Inari's hand gently ran along its cheek, and the living train seemed to smile and growl. Its side doors promptly opened. "In here. This young fellow should take us straight to Shibuya Station, to the human world. Make sure you don't need anything from the shops here, we'll be gone for a while."

Of course Mei know what to do to get to real world. After all, she's someone who way too used to transit between world. Just pretend that she's a normal cat or something, and no one will notice that it's a Digimon, not a cat. As long as no one really watch how she coiled her feelers into collar and how she put some sort of ribbon on the end of her tail to make her looking catlike than ever, no one would really pay attention to this Garfield like creature. The Meicoomon watched as Patrasche ate her Tunamayo onigiri and smiled happily.
"Eat a lot and get healthy so we can go on adventure~!"
To cats, there are nothing scarier than seeing their relatives and friends turning cold and unmoving after all... That's why she always have food ready. Starvation is the worst enemy of all.
"Well Mei need nothing, Mei just need to survey the area is all~ Apparently there are a lot of Digimon who hates Meicoomons, that's why Mei appeared late at night like this! But Mei promise Mei is a good girl~ Mei won't hurt anyone~"

Patrasche would follow Inari to the Trailmon terminal, nodding to Mei as they went. "I'm... not sure if I really want to adventure," They admitted in a soft tone, in clarification. "But... I, uhm, appreciate the concern?" They tried to offer the Meicoomon a smile, tail slowly wagging. To be honest, they were unsure what to make of Mei - she seemed friendly enough, though... Maybe a hair energetic, if they had to be honest. They weren't about to look the gift horse of a pair of friendly and helpful digimon in the mouth, though.
As they made their way to the Trailmon terminal, and hopped up to the platform, Patrasche would peer to the Worm-type Trailmon with quiet intrigue; even if the large teeth and whatnot did set a small, instinctual part of their mind at unease. Inari's voice would draw their attention, though; the Labramon snapping to attention, and glancing to the taller fox. "Oh! Uhhh..." It took Patrasche a second to find their words, fidgeting in place - but... "... I... heard that digimon have a way, to disguise themselves?" They'd ask, seeming a little unsure - they'd never seen Holosuits for themself, so they were mostly going off of hearsay and what they could recall off the top of their head. "For hiding amongst humans? How... how would that work?"

Inari thought of Mei as a very nice, if a bit simple-minded girl. Not that she would say that out loud. She was still glad to have her around, two Digimon had an easier time sneaking a third one through the human world as one had.
Once she had sat down, she turned to Pat and their question. "There certainly is a way. It is called a Holosuit. You put it on, and it hides your shape from inquiring eyes. If you wish, you can borrow mine. I have my cloak, and knowledge of the back alleys, to hide my true nature."
Eventually, the Trailmon rumbled, and began moving, setting off toward Shibuya terminal.

"Oh,Mei's tongue slipped! Mei doesn't mean that sort of adventure, but it's still an adventure you know! Mei did not meant to say adventure-adventure, but adventure to look for Patra-chan's new house! Mei slipped because that what Mei often said to Mei's little siblings... um... they're normal cats, not Digimons. Tiny bitty cuties they were, tailing Mei like chicks even when Mei told them to not follow because it's dangerous... Well, they still came anyway..." Mei seem to fondly remembered her time with her cat siblings. Her feelers shuddered in happiness.
Mei meanwhile seem to not know what this business with holosuit is. "Mei just pretended to be a cat. There's quite numbers of cat as pudgy as Mei so Mei never thoughts of getting one of those... holo-holo... costume? Thingy. Mei think Patra-chan can pass as a normal doggo just fine as long as Patra-chan doesn't talk... but whether that holds up or not, Mei doesn't know."
She then hopped to the chair and curls on one of the seat like a cat. "It'll take a bit, so maybe Patra-chan and Inari-chan should rest a bit. We'll walk quite a lot after all."
