The Justimon's approach was efficient, cutting her way straight through the arrows to try and end this fight decisively and quickly. The ram took notice of this, a 'tsk' escaping through her teeth as her next action was forced. If Coolmon was going to make a beeline right for his position, the Pajiramon was going to make it as painful as possible to approach.
The ram's weight shifted back, front legs carried about a foot above the ground, before she slammed them back down - an impressive shock-wave carrying right through the peat moss below! Her intention was simply to trip the Justimon up, make Coolmon screw up her footing. And if she managed that, she'd shove the handle of her crossbow straight forward, intent on slamming it right against the mega's head. Risky, to be sure, but a counter at this stage might send the other mega reeling!
Gio, meanwhile, found himself in more dire straights. Knocked down and grounded, even as those balls of nuclear energy took shape, the bull took one of his blades in hand, fully intent on driving it right through the dragon's head and putting an end to one of their opponents. Dio wasn't having it, however, his warning and anger quickly drawing the bull's attention, the beast letting out a growl as the 'Plasmic Salvo' buried deep into his chest. The D-Nail wouldn't land so easily, though, tied right with the crossed blades of the Vajramon, the bull letting out a snort right in the NeoDevimon's face...
... As he started to stomp. He drove his hoof right against Gio's armored chest, over and over, intent on denting it through right at where the armor pointed out the furthest at the end. And these weren't simple kicks: each had a distinct weight, enough that the force could be felt throughout the entire breastplate. It honestly wouldn't be long before it would give out.
Well, without interference, anyway: "Bolster!" The Wizardmon's voice carried out, and a blue grid would extend right around Gio's frame. Not a heal, but a full defensive buff that redistributed the force across his entire body, rather than around the single struck section. It was something! "Crafty kitty..."
These clones could take more than a hit? The Makuramon had to adjust his assumptions, then - but before that, he had to deal with the attack coming his way! Attempting to backpedal, he grit his teeth, forcing his left hand forward to intercept that dark patch, wincing as he quickly felt that dig into his data.
No pain, no gain - he didn't throw out the possibility that the one MeiCrackmon that he hit was, just by chance, the real one - and so he'd flick his wrist down, intent on driving that floating orb right into the center of that remaining cat's back!
This, of course, left the Sandiramon. A larger target as it was, it simply couldn't handle every attack thrown at it - and so it let the lightning sink deep into its midsection, the serpent giving a pained hiss as the flick of its tail sent the main body flying several yards away. Only to be equipped with a stronger weapon? The serpent gave a cautious hiss... but as Holly made her direct approach, the serpent knew its response. It wanted to come up close and try to slash into its flank?
Then it would pay the price for thinking the Sandiramon was just a physical fighter! As Holly entered its range, the serpent's fangs unhinged, a massive gale of poison pouring right down on that wounded cat, one that would burn at the touch and make those open wounds light up like a massive flame. If it hit like that, the poison would start to set in, a fierce pain wracking through her body as she'd feel her muscles tighten up. Of course, then came Hawkmon. With the Baalmon's attention drawn solely to that bird, Lee took his chance - pushing back and letting his collar tear, he would let himself slip a few feet away from the demon, as the bird clicked his beak.
Really, Cross had some snark to try this. That orb would slam right into the Hawkmon's chest, a gasped sound as the wind was knocked out of it - but the force would still be enough to carry the bird back, right into the Baalmon's torso, and send them both tumbling several yards into the peat moss. At that point, the Hawkmon would protest, and try to use that best opportunity to flap its wings and take to the skies, to try and distance himself from that demon...
... Only to feel another one of the Deputymon's bullets bury into its wing! "You little..." The Hawkmon's gaze shifted, a red light building up in his eyes.
His patience was being tested, here.
As Justimon makes his approach, Pajiramon attempts 'Thunder Stomp' to throw off her footing, followed by a fierce blow to the head.
Vajramon gains even more power off of 'Roaring Bull'. His efforts to finish off Gio are cancelled as he's forced to catch the D-Nail with his blades, the Plasmic Salvo sinking into his chest - as he uses 'Thunder Stomp' to try and cave Gio's chest in.
Clearly, seeing Gio in the worst position, Wizardmon uses 'Bolster' to increase his defensive endurance.
Makuramon holds position, hit with the shadow attack while further using 'Primal Orb' to try and finish off the downed clone. Sandiramon is struck with an electric blast, though its not as damaging against a larger mass sprawled against the ground. The serpent, probably in better condition than Holly expected, used 'Venom Gale' to try and poison Holly on the approach.
Hawkmon's getting ticked.

Justimon had come prepared to this confrontation. After all, what respectable marksman would not have a contingency plan for if someone dared to near them? Without missing a beat, Coolmon's arm shifted into a variant unheard of for the average Justimon, a shield made of pure digizoid expanding from the arm as she held it up to meet the shockwave emitted by Pajiramon's hooves head on. However, she was stopped dead by this, and the shield might not be able to hold against the subsequent blow aimed at her head!
Now, what would happen if two powerful forces met like this? Well, it could stagger Coolmon, but it was probably better than taking some big goat hooves head on, really. Meanwhile, with Aya, she saw the cover that Carlos had been moving to take, and noted that Holly was doing a great job of keeping the Devas at bay with liberal usage of her clones. She needed to move quickly or else the two would take note and make a break for her, so...
Aya ran towards the cover, trying to get behind it for the sake of safety. Relevant Passives: One for All: Justimon is inspired to fight harder based on how many allies she has present with her. She gains a 20% power increase for every ally of hers present in a battle. This caps out at 50%, three allies. Increases in increments of 12>12>13>13. Pain white hot and blinding flashes through Cross's side as she releases Lee aiming to throw the human out of the way when she realized the Sovereign couldn't stop it's own attack, but the man was faster. The impact sending her and Hawkmon careening with the snap of breaking bones as the small digimon is all, but rammed into her chest. The injured bird trying to take flight before it's shot down in a pile of feathers beside her as the Doctor levers herself up onto her elbows and coughs. Reaching up with one hand to wrench her mask away from crimson stained lips, red data dribbling from the corner of her mouth like blood as she gasps in lung fulls of air feeling as though she's breathing molten lava as a soft mirthless laugh bubbles up from her throat. Equal pats stunned and disappointed that they're alive.
Before rolling over with a wince to pin the Hawkmon with one careful hand. 'Palm down on the spine, fingers around the back of the neck, mind the talons' She mentally reminds herself going through the chant drilled into her since her first avian patient. Her other hand darting out to grab the injured wing close to the bird's body below the injury to keep it still as she clicked her tongue.
"This is foolish Uncle," She rasps examining the injury carefully despite the indignity of it all, "Also I'm fairly certain he shattered your radius." Cross adds with a low tired hum, pain making her vision swim, but her hands were no less steady. Hawkmon wasn't the only one irritated as the Doctor put pressure on the wound holding the birds blue eyes with her own red her gaze impassive.
"Though truthfully the flaw in this whole ambush is mistaking the fact I want to die for the ability to do so." Cas admitted, "I'm not even certain I can die anymore or if I can if you would even be able to absorb my stain of a data. Even less what would happen if you did so. I suspect I would just wake up. A little less myself. A little harder. A little colder. A little less caring." She mused holding his gaze with those hard crimson eyes, his pulse fluttering under her fingers in time with the hammering of her own heart.
"I imagine that's what it's like to be a god. Cold, hard, and uncaring. Who you once where a distant memory. It probably makes the pain of out living all those you loved easier. Makes watching the suffering of mortals a lighter burden to bare when you only deem to acknowledge a scant few." Cross mused before she let out another bitter laugh.
"Did you tell them they could give you their data willingly? None of this bloodshed or pain or did you not think they were loyal enough to hand over their lives without a fight? Better to bait them with the false promise of survival even if it means murdering others in their place. Did you tell them that all you had to do was ask? That if enough gave willingly of their data they might not even have to make the ultimate sacrifice?" She questioned letting her voice carry as she prodded the hawk's broken wing assessing the damage.
"Did you know?" She asks eyes hard and searching as she waits to learn if she holds a god or monster in her hands and questions if there's really any difference.

As each stomp from the bull like Deva pushed Gio deeper and deeper into the ground, causing his metallic armor to dent more and more, the wargrowlmon could do little more than let out a roar of anger and...pain. For the first time in a long, long time, he was fighting against something strong enough to make even his dulled senses feel each and every hit. Luckily that Wizardmon would take note of his dire predicament and help ease the damage a bit with his shielding ability, which at least gave Gio back some breathing room. What he would do with it? He would actually try to push against the Vajramon's onslaught, his bladed arms swinging with burning hot metal aiming to slash away at the Deva's legs. As this was happening Carlos shot a glance at Aya as she huddled behind the rock he was using for cover. "You ok? Anything broken?" He asked with palpable concern (or was it fear?) as he looked away for a moment to check the battlefield, only to bite his lip. Things were looking about as even as they could all things considered, both sides seeming to be in even grounds for the moment...well besides the fact one of his partners was currently on the ground being trampled, of course. Which did not sit well with the man in the slightest. "You son of a-" He didn't even bother finishing his curse as he quickly searched his pocket, taking out a single card before sliding quickly across the D-Arc. "Dio, think fast!" With that order uttered the hands of the Neodevimon glowed for a moment, a thin red stream of energy coursing through them almost in perfect synchrony with Carlos' words. Without thinking it twice, the demon flew above and behind the Vajramon, after which he'd swing his arm forward, the red energy whip lashing out from his grip and intent on wrapping around the bull's torso or hopefully his neck. And if that happened well, Dio would begin to pull with all his might, doing his damnest to get the rampaging centaur off his brother. Gio takes reduced damage from Vajramon's Thunderstop thanks to Wizardmon's Bolster, after which he tries to attack with Rending Blade. Meanwhile Carlos swipes a card in an attempt to help Dio against Vajramon.

There was so much going on that it was hard to wrap her head around everything, she had to focus hard on what was in front of her. She had to deal with the snake, had to deal with the monkey. She felt that creaking whirring in her head start to kick up, she was slow in this fight. She was behind in it, on the back foot. This blade in her hands was weighted to a top heavy degree, she could use that weight to do a lot of things.
The target was large, it couldn't dodge that lightning. But the lightning wasn't as strong as hers, it only hurt about a little over a champion level. The serpent pulled it's jaws open and then that gale of poison ripped towards her! The meicrackmon was already fully barreling and couldn't stop so she had to slam through that gale itself. She felt those wounds fester and burn. She felt that pain stall out her regneration and the poison set in.
Just bury the pain! Just move forward! Forward! C'mon!
The meicrackmon let out a low growl and with a flourish kicked herself up, through and over the gale of poison. The sheer movement of her body forcing some of the gale to twirl with her, she'd draw the blade back and with an overhand swing bring it down, attempting to slam straight through the head of the snake. Regardless of wether or not she hit she'd be able to use the momentum to soar over the snake and land briskly behind him spinning the heavy blade in her hands and snarling in irritation.
"..."
Her clone was in the same game as she was, out of place and out of locale. The monkey had it's focus on her and it was in this that she could at least work with. The clone snarled in irritation and with a righteous slam of it's tail launched itself off of the ground straight at the monkey. Darkness rippling across it's hands.
"Foolish Monkey!"
This clone's tactics were a little different, she wanted to barrel into the monkey and press those darkness laden hands against the throat. Hopefully causing a tumble that she would vanish by the end of. Specific points were more damaging and if the monkey couldn't breath they couldn't fight.
Log: -Holly takes the Venom gale full force but kicks off of the ground to make a vicious over head attack at the snakes head. -The last remaining clone slams her tail to send her flying at the Monkey, using Shadow Stitches III in an attempt to damage the monkey's breathing, while also hopefully sending him tumbling!. Regardless of it's success the clone will vanish.
Passives: Regeneration III: Every post rotation this digimon heals a light amount of damage. If afflicted by a status effect this regeneration stalls out until that effect is over with. Any healing ability that is used on her stalls out this regeneration effect as well. [Stalled out]
Beast Dance|Inherited Move[RAM UPGRADE]: This digimon moves at unreasonable speeds; faster than it's cousins by a large margin this digimon is also largely frailer than it's cousins.
Moves: Holly makes an empowered basic attack!
Holly's clone uses Shadow Stitches III: On use a somewhat dark aura radiates around one of holly's paws. Striking a target with a dark patch of data to stick to their skin, spreading out into several dark needles to stab through the surface. Deals high corrosive damage. Duration of 3 posts, cool down of 3 posts.
Durations: Quasi: [2/2]
Cooldowns: Quasis': [0/3] [0/3] [0/3]
team player card: Duration of card: [2/3] DR-33 Card Name: Ouryuken Type: Modify Rank: Chrome Digizoid Duration: 3 Posts Effect: The target Digimon summons Alphamon's Ouryuken blade. It is a powerful cross between a sword and polearm, and heavily boosts both the range and power of basic melee strikes.

Tch, what kind of barrier was that? The Pajiramon, standing on her four feet, found that shock-wave running through her legs much more than she should have. An irritated bleat revealed her distaste, but a heavy hit of that crossbow at least put the Justimon on notice...
... And, in her position, in the perfect spot. With a click, a different sort of bolt was loaded into the crossbow, the ram leveling her aim right at the Justimon's center.
"Vahnijvala."
The cursed word came right with the Pajiramon's shot, a dark and cursed bolt fired with the intent on striking the Justimon in the chest. And should this one land a direct hit, that dark, cursed energy would rapidly spread outward, a fraying sense of madness moving to surround the target's head. Unlike his counterpart, tricky magic and careful precision were far from the Vajramon's forte. That repeated attack proved effective, even if dulled by the bolster - and at this pace, it wouldn't be long before one of those kicks would finally break through. One-on-one, he cared little for those awkward swings aimed at his armored calves, simply keeping direct strikes on target to try and win the war of attrition.
Of course, this wasn't one on one - and Carlos' call-out to Dio roughly snapped the bull to his senses. He gave a growl as that whip gripped around his neck and forcefully dragged him off of the metal monster's body - and with a pull, he would be drawn right off.
But it wasn't just his feet they had to worry about. Red in his eyes, his hands tensed around both blades, intent on crashing both right on top of Gio's battered frame. "Ke-ke?!"
This fake cat still had that much to work with? The Makuramon found himself between an awkward rock and a hard place, the monkey indeed barrelled into - but it wasn't the neck that would receive the brunt of the attack, but his arms. But even struck, even in that tumble, the 'Primal Orb' would still come crashing down against the MeiCrackmon's back - and with a hiss in his teeth, he'd climb right back up, eyes settled on a particular target:
Carlos and Aya exposed - oh? "Tch... finally done birdwatching?"
"Can't let you pass that easily, right?" Moeru glared down, the Deputymon standing right on point, all weapons primed and raised towards the monkey. The Wizardmon gave a sigh: "Take care, this one. That ball can trap people just as good as it can hit people."
Well, at the very least, it was a stand-off. 'Just charge forward'!
Holly's mantra carried her well through the smoke, and even kicked her right up in the air - but, perhaps Holly would realize just how bad of a place that was to be the moment she did so. The Sandiramon didn't look shocked - rather, he had an almost cat-like expression, looking at something with great interest, like a fishing toy just tantalizingly out of reach. After all, why not?
Holly was midair - seemingly helpless to Sandiramon's strongest attack. Its jaws parted, revealing the tip of a heavy metal lance at the top of its throat, and with a burst of light, the Treasure Lance would roar out like a ballista's projectile, intent on skewering the MeiCrackmon right through the middle! Hawkmon, meanwhile, found himself in quite the degrading state. Bruised and battered, pinned underneath the grip of the Baalmon, the tense bird gave a hiss as this ingrate had the audacity to talk down at him. Him, the soon to be ruler of the Dark Area! "What, you've seen the coat check of the reaper's office or something? Get off your high-horse-"
"My, my... despite your experience, you're still an idealist, aren't you..." Lee viewed Cassandra's words at something of a distance. Mocking gods, asserting the Hawkmon's view as perverse and distant - though not wholly incorrect, to Lee, it didn't fit the stakes of the situation. "In sum, the thirteen Deva are simply a fraction of Zhuqiaomon's being. Even imparting all of them with their form and will did not waver his form in antiquity. Even half of the Deva barely incited a little under a sixth of what was needed."
But perhaps this was not a topic that could be so easily bridged. "To answer you in brief, they are already willing participants. Most of them feel that Zhuqiaomon's will would make them into a new generation once the Phoenix has revived itself - oh, hush, stop fidgeting."
"Tch..." The Hawkmon relented, for the moment. For one reason or another, Lee hadn't decided to use his Digivice yet. Was it out of pity or respect for his niece? Or was he just trying to teach the bird humility?
Pajiramon uses her ultimate, 'Vahnijvala. On hit, the target loses all sense of hearing, slowly descending to madness as pain starts to wrack through their form. Vajramon, predictably, uses 'Deva Blade' towards his adversary. Sandiramon uses 'Bao Kui' in an attempt to blast a MeiCrackmon out of the air. Makuramon is currently squaring off against Moeru, Deputymon, and Wizardmon.

She had at least distracted the monkey. That was the important part, with a smirk the clone vanished. Even if it hadn't managed to hit the spot that it wanted to it had at least damaged the monkey. Her host would figure something out and well.. She was good at that sort of thing. Holly on the other hand didn't quite realize her predicament until she noted the expression on the snakes face. She recognized the error a little bit too late, that expression was one after all that she had many a time when playing with her sister or with her friends. The jaws parted in slow motion, holly felt that sharp intake of air as her body prepared itself for the incoming damage. She felt that lance slam into her and with a grunt she'd fly backwards from the force of the projectile. Landing in a heap a good dozen meters away from her target. She could feel her regeneration struggling to cope with all the damage she had received. She could feel the fuzzy edges of her mind, and something just didn't feel right here. Something just felt off, cold. Something that reminded her of that scared place she was in not too long ago. That horrible sensation of loss, but not towards others. More directed at herself. The world seemed dark for some reason and the meicrackmon's hands seemed to be soaked with the data coming from her chest. That lance had hit very close to her core. The meicrackmon slowly pushed herself up, rather weakly with a hand. Her eyes widening as the pain set in. Her pain filled eyes watered and shifted to look at the Sandiramon. There was a cruelty in this; holly didn't want to be part of that orb. But she didn't want to kill this snake. She'd open her mouth as to say something but.. The words never came. Her form was encompossed with an impossibly blinding light, many would recognize that light with that of digivolution. But holly was already ultimate, damn well near her normal cap of digivolution. Her next form wouldn't be anything that the others wouldn't of seen before... Right? Her form burned even more brilliantly than her mother's light, that cool and gentle refreshing aura nothing like this. Her form expanded and grew, hands coming down, her body distending and shifting to accommodate armor plating, fangs and growth of it's own. The light continued to heighten for a few moments before fading away. The clattering of the lance that had skewered her being the only sound from the meicrackcmon in this time. In holly's place was a form a few would easily recognize, other's some not. It's jaws parted with an angry growl and the two pairs of eyes locked onto it's now prey. The baihumon would take a single step; the orbs around it shifting their stance. It's fur was far harder than that of the meicrackmon's and the near instant that it was present well... The area would find itself crackling with electricity! Log: -Holly got skewered by Bao Kui, launching her away from the Sandiramon. -Holly warp digivolved to BaihumonPassives: Iron Lord|Combat Passive: If it is one thing, Baihumon is durable. It's fur being beyond that of natural limits is made purely out of a digizoid fiber of sorts. It's strong to the point of having a heavy resistance[30%] to all forms of damage. At the cost of moving much[30%] slower. Water attacks weaken the fur considerably and disable this passive for three posts upon successful contact.
Charged-Air|Combat Passive: This digimon is putting off a constant barrage of electrical currents into the air. Arcing off of it's fur, the orbs and metal that it's body may possess. This hyper charges the local area that the mon is in. Creating a field of sustained damage to those that come too close. Friendly individuals find that this field deals no damage to them. Deals light damage to any without electrical resistance. If struck by a water attack this negates the passive for three posts. Hundred foot range.
Hyper-Regeneration|Combat Passive|RAM UPGRADE: This digimon is capable of regenerating a medium amount of damage per posting round. Upon being struck with any enemy attacks it is boosted to a heavy amount of regeneration for three posts and then goes on a cooldown of Six posts afterwards. Healing abilities, status effects, defensive abilities or otherwise friendly/unfriendly abilities stall out this regeneration for the duration of effect.
Accelerated Flight|General Passive|RAM UPGRADE: This digimon is capable of super sonic flight outside of combat, breaking the sound barrier multiple times over. Inside of combat it's aerial prowess is what you would expect of an average mystical user. It can't compete with the best of them in terms of maneuverability but it's speed is something to behold. Hawkmon's bones ground into place with an ugly, painful, pop as the Baalmon deftly set the break, her expression stony. "Would you like me to describe to you what I've seen Hawkmon?" She asks softly, voice deathly quiet. "Would you like me to tell you what it feels like to have the Reaper rip you apart fiber by fiber and remake you? Describe to you the hopelessness of facing the Reaper's full force of will?" Cross questions arching a single brow, fingers dancing across the injury with an artists touch as she checks her work. The word 'idealist' sticks in her mind, catching at the threads of her ragged soul like thorns on clean white cotton cloth. She thinks of the lives she's ended, the cities she's burned, the threads of fate she's cut short in the name of protecting what is hers. Because Cross was by nature a selfish creature, but she had honed that selfishness into a blade. How dare someone threaten her family, her city, her people, her worlds. "I'm not an idealist actually," She admits as she shakily rises to her feet Hawkmon in hand, "I just hate waste and this," Cross gestures at the ensuing fight, "Is a waste." "Truthfully we're far too much alike, but you are older, wiser. . ." Cross admitted as she turned her gaze on Lee, "I had hoped you would be better then me too.” She spoke as she released the avian digimon’s wing, her grip still firm on his neck as she lifted her hand. Letting the sleeve of her robes fall back to reveal the D-terminal clasped around her wrist that pinged with a tracking beacon as she pressed a data soaked fingertip to the scanner. ‘Data Signature Registered’ “I wouldn’t try flying any time soon if I were you Hawkmon. I set the bone, but I haven’t splinted it and if you unset it and a bit of jagged bone hits something important. . .well it’s a long way to a hospital.” She quipped eyes never leaving Lee or the digivice he had drawn from his pocket. Ten seconds. Ten seconds from the press of the button was all she’d have. Ten seconds to kill or disable any potential threat before the clock ticked down on the minute delay she knew all too well.

Post by Ayaka and Coolmon on Jul 29, 2019 7:17:24 GMT
A loud, boisterous, EAR-GRATING CLANG! echoed throughout the battle as hoof made contact with metal. The shield reverted to the prior form of the Trinity Arm as Coolmon started to keep her advance up...
Before a cursed word was spoken, and a shot fired for her chest. A shot that hit her square in the chest, sinking deep as a strange feeling (one of madness) began to surge through the royalty free rider Digimon. Everything she heard just went poof. Nothing. Nothing but a want to hurt. A want to smash a want to kill a want to TEAR THAT GOAT INTO DOG FOOD A WANT TO STOP THIS RAPIDLY GROWING PAIN.
Aya glanced towards Carlos, "No, nothing's broken. Where--" She cut herself off as she saw Coolmon with a bolt sticking out of her chest and face to face with Pajiramon. Without really thinking about what happened to her partner, she swiped her WarGreymon card.
While Coolmon could not hear it, she could definitely feel something surge through her. A combination of a burning pain and...something else, was that a card? And she couldn't hear what she said next, too, even if everyone else could. What the Justimon let out next was a bloodcurdling roar as she leapt for Pajiramon, putting her arms up and forward as she started to spin rapidly, using WarGreymon's Great Tornado like how a particular one did to try PIERCING THROUGH THEIR TARGET while surrounded in a blazing tornado! Relevant Passives: One for All: Justimon is inspired to fight harder based on how many allies she has present with her. She gains a 20% power increase for every ally of hers present in a battle. This caps out at 50%, three allies. Increases in increments of 12>12>13>13. Twins count as one singular entity, and mercenaries are exempt from this. 3/3 - F U L L P O W E R
I am Here: Justimon is immune to fear-based effects. Why? Because there’s nothing to fear when she’s there.

Surprisingly Carlos and Dio's gambit paid off, the bull deva slowly but surely retreating off the battered Gio. They were still at a disadvantage, but it was a start. Just as he began to get back up from the hole in the floor created by the combined weight of his frame and Vajramon's stomping however, Gio saw the centaur once again on the offensive despite being pulled away. The cyborg brough up his arms in a defensive position, before a loud scraping sound of metal clashing against metal resounded in the battlefield...followed by a shrill roar of agony. The Vajramon's swords dug deep into the Wargrowlmon's arms, nearly piercing all the way through his armored arms. At the very least he had managed to keep them away from his far more exposed and vital chest area, but that was of little consolation for the large digimon. He was slowly remembering what real pain felt like. Almost instinctually a blue electrical pulse would soon course through his general vicinity, the data around his (and his brother's) injuries slowly attempting to reconfigure and mend itself. Dio simply looked on, body visibly trembling with rage, his body now emitting a soft glow all the while. A similar glow to that coming from Carlos' digivice, which the man was now gripping tightly, a scowl etched on his face as he looked on in pure shock and anger at his partner still being mercilessly attacked by the Deva. "You're gonna pay for this." He muttered coldly, slamming his index finger against the button of his device, a bright light bathing his winged partner as he did so. What followed was a roar of pure, unadulterated hate, accompanied bright light flashing behind the Vajramon, the Neodevimon now turned into something far bigger, powerful...and far more angry. After all that thing had made his brother, his own flesh and blood scream in agony...it was only logical he'd want to return the favor. Tenfold. "You're DEAD. ALL OF YOU, YOU WORTHLESS SLAVES." The voice no, the snarl from the Belphemon's mouth was practically unintelligible, the thunderous and feral growl behind his voice so deafening it practically muffled any coherent words yelled by the demon lord. Dark flames ignited around the Belphemon, converging within his claws and taking a very distinct shape. The demonic digimon threw the flaming spear in Vajramon's direction, intent on piercing right through him if the bull didn't move out of the way.
Gio takes Vajramon's Deva Blade to his arms as he tries to heal himself and Dio with Regenerative Field. Dio, understandably pissed digivolves into Belphemon and tries to attack Varjamon with Lance of Erebus
Passives:
[RAM Upgrade Giga] Axon Charge: Due to Gio’s rather odd upbringing and traces of his old demon lord data, his body and very core react to physical trauma in an different way. On top of an increased tolerance to pain, every time Gio receives damage from a named move he stores a part of the attack’s energy within him, giving him a charge. He can store up to five of these charges. Every charge gives him a 5% increase in damage to all of his named moves, though he loses a charge for every two turns without receiving damage. Furthermore he can spend all five charges to create a medium ranged explosion around him causing heavy damage to up to two targets, but can’t gain charges for the next two turns. Axon Charges: (4/5)
Named move damage increase 20%
[Passive] Mark of Sloth: This ability allows this digimon to set a target ablaze for two posts every time they deal damage with an ability. Instead of damaging the enemy however, the flames sap the energy from the digimon, slowing down their movements significantly. Can only proc every three posts after the mark has expired, and it may only affect one target at a time. Actives:Regenerative Field: Releases a small plasma pulse in a small area around him, regenerating the damaged data of up to three allies, healing them all for 20%. 5 turn cooldown. Lance of Erebus: After channeling dark flames into his hands Belphemon shapesthem into the form of a massive fiery spear that may be thrown up to 2000 feet, though it's accuracy drops with range. Deals heavy damage. Two posts cooldown. Cooldowns: Dio: Lance of Erebus: (0/2) Gio: Ascalon Cannon (3/4) Plasmic Salvo (2/3) Rending Blade (1/1) Regenerative Field (0/4)

"T-tch..."
A pained hiss slipped out of that beak as that shattered bone slipped into place, the Hawkmon's reaction more annoyed with the human and once-human than anything else. What was it like to have the Reaper remake your being, fiber by fiber? "And what do you think its like to have this task? A Sovereign ain't exactly a 'Digimon'."
Regardless the two seemed oddly compliant with the doctor's actions. Lee, himself, slipped a hand into his pocket, pulling out a pack of cigarettes, tapping one out of the box as he checked his Digivice. "Truthfully, this is a matter of perspective. But I have to say, its been invigorating to see someone as stubborn as me in your ways. If nothing else, it seems like we both understand that the world won't right itself unless we tear its path onto the right track."
With the cigarette lit, the old man gave a sigh, and a slight flick of his thumb. Anything obvious, Cassandra might have acted against quicker - but would she notice the card pressed right up against the side of the box? No fanfare, no spike of data signal - he'd simply slide that card through the device, and Hawkmon's body would give a pulse.
Not to Digivolve, but for his feathers to gain a metallic sheen. And a bare moment later, with that strengthened neck, he'd lean forward to bite right at the Baalmon's thumb.
"Piss off!" He'd give a wrench and a kick of his foot, intent on freeing himself right from the demon's grip. In that same moment, a powerful data signal would erupt from the would-be sovereign - again, not to Digivolve...
... But did one really expect the Sovereign Guards to simply be Ultimate Level at best?
Alright, step one completed - but Vahnijvala really didn't have a point of the Justimon's madness was simply directed at one target! The ram really didn't have a way to dodge at point blank range, simply raising her shielded hand to do her beast, the blades easily slamming right through, breaking through the metal and tearing away her left gauntlet, leaving her arm a limp, tattered mess that hung by her side.
But she endured, and would give a wide gallop, turning the Justimon's attention in towards the rest of the battlefield - forcing her to be able to see Carlos, Aya, Moeru, the Wizardmon, as well as the Makuramon in the periphery. Under the grips of Vahnijvala's madness, each of them would appear as terrifying specters, almost devoid of form, as if wanting to drag her very essence down to the underworld.
Everyone was an enemy. Everyone a target. She wouldn't be safe unless she was alone.
And the ram, arcing slightly away, would try and position herself about halfway between the Justimon and Aya's position... "Hss..."
Perfect. That annoying cat was pierced right out of the air, practically torn apart by the power of Sandiramon's Bao Kui, and at this point, Holly was little more than a bit of prey to be delivered to the Hawkmon's feet. The Sandiramon would offer little recourse, of course, slithering right on up to try and collect his catch...
... Only for a powerful burst of light overtaking his unblinking vision. At first, he recoiled, but the serpent would slither right on over, darting towards his target. Digivolving or not, just how easily could the MeiCrackmon recover from that damage? The serpent darted forth, and as the frame expanded, slithered close and off to the side...
... And the very moment the howling Baihumon appeared, the serpent would give a hiss to match that roar, meeting eye to eye with a beast that better matched the serpent's stature. It would strike, this time trying to latch its fangs directly onto the Baihumon's frame - intent on directly wrapping itself around the lion.
Don't give her time to recover. Simply crush her before she has a chance to regroup. Gio's pain wouldn't stop there. Yes, he had managed to put his arms in the way of his chest, but the swords would still slip most of the through that armor and his arms - and with a frustrated snort, unable to easily pull them out, the bull would simply let one of those swords go, lodged right into the WarGrowlmon's arm, making them more-or-less impossible to heal through conventional means.
Gio was in no condition to fight. So the bull turned his attention right towards the remaining target, the now Belphemon. Dio's taunt was met with the bull's own aggressive gesture, kicking away at the peat moss and dust underneath his feet. With the threat, the Vajramon raised its feet, and slammed into the ground itself with a Thunderous Stomp - intent on staggering the Belphemon in place, before charging right in with his remaining blade. With a slash, it cut straight through the fiery lance, splitting it in twain before snapping at the hilt, the bull throwing that destroyed weapon aside.
It didn't care. It tucked its head down and attempted to bury its horns right into the Belphemon's chest. "H-hey, don't you have a sense of humor?!"
Apparently not! As soon as the Makuramon readied its Primal Orb, the Deputymon already raised its weapon, sending a strong spread of bullets towards the smaller target - a few striking into its gauntlets, but the flighty Digimon proved relatively difficult to hit.
Until he didn't: gritting his teeth, he raised the orb, which turned transparent, catching an easy two bullets right inside its grip - holding them suspended in space.
"Tch..."
"Barrier!" The Wizardmon covered the mistake, a transparent shield causing those two deflected bullets to ricochet off, burying into the dirt several yards away. An annoying fight with a trickster, yes, but it at least seemed like it was a stalemate.
Though, the Makuramon would give a grin as the Hawkmon howled out in the background - and every Deva in the area would experience a change, a wispy, white aura surrounding each of them. And the next round of deflected shots would manage to slip right through the barrier, cutting the Wizardmon's cheek as it swung on by.
... The tempo of the fight had changed.
Lee uses the card 'Chrome Digizoid Armor' to bolster Hawkmon's defense - as well as the strength of his trachea, in particular.
Pajiramon is struck, losing use of her left arm, and runs in a wide ark to put the rest of the fighters in sight of the maddened Justimon.
Vajramon leaves a blade stuck in Gio's arm, and charges Dio, intent on spearing his chest with his horns. The remaining Deva Blade is destroyed by the lance.
Sandiramon approaches Holly during her Digivolution, and immediately attempts to grapple and crush the Baihumon.
Makuramon is currently squaring off against Moeru, Deputymon, and Wizardmon.
Hawkmon uses 'Deva Aura'. Each Deva is now 'Mega' level.

Don't give her time to recover. As if something was so simple, but even before the serpents attack holly's body was already furiously working on repairing the damage to the digimon's frame. And for holly herself? Well... This was quite a surge of power in it's own, one of which she was completely unused to. She had a realm of possibilities just slam out into her mind; that hiss that the serpent brought to her only sparking her mind to race. But then of course the snake would do something stupid. Or at least what holly would consider stupid. He'd rush in to attack her, those fangs finding it difficult to even pierce through her rather durable hide. Sure he was able to maybe get a good bit of the bite into her but it was far less than what he likely wanted. Even the coiling didn't seem to do much! The aura certainly was worrying yes, but to be honest holly didn't know what it really did for the snake. Nor did she really care. All she knew is that she absolutely needed to get the snake away from the group to do what she wanted to. Something that just felt kind of right. So with the serpent coiled around her holly wouldn't just leap off of the ground. She'd blast off with quite an impressive force, the sound of which seeming awfully close to someone breaking the sound barrier. Once in place well above those below her the baihumon's eyes swiveled to the attached serpant. One that she didn't bother shaking off, sure her electrical current probably was just a little tickle right now but with a soft growl the Baihumon was poised to do something quite... different than most of her forms were capable of. Most of her attacks in almost every prior form had in no way shape or form an AOE. And considering the fact this form naturally exuded an aura of damage... well that gave holly a direct insight to what it was capable of. Taking that energy that was just softly there the Baihumon drew it inward for all of a moment. And then when it hit what she felt was right she'd release the effect, directly onto the serpent that was not only latched onto her... But coiled around her. The centralized super nova of electricity shot outwards, if the snake did naught to avoid it somehow it'd find it's body plagued by an immensely powerful attack that it was the sole target of. The wave of electricity tore through the air, looking for purchase and finding none, slowly did that energy tear through the air... Up until it ran out of juice a good hundred or two feet later. If the snake somehow kept on even after that attack well, holly had other tools she could use. Log: -Holly's regen chugs away at the prior damage she was dealt. -Holly's regen kicks up a notch from the damage that she took from the Sandiramon. Now reovering at 'heavy' rather than 'medium' -Holly kicks off of the ground to fly up, up and away from the rest of the party. -Holly uses 'Ten-Billion-Volt-Casade' with the snake deva directly attached to her! Passives: Iron Lord|Combat Passive: If it is one thing, Baihumon is durable.
Move: Ten-Billion-Volt-Cascade: This digimon takes all the energy that it would normally use for it's Charged air passive and kicks it into overdrive. This creates a localized super nova of electrical destruction. Dealing immense damage to all within two hundred feet of itself. This attack leaves Baihumon without it's Charged-Air passive for three posts. At the end of those three posts it may not use Ten-Billion Volt-Cascade for another Three posts. [Effectively a six post cool down]. Extending this cooldown by use of additional water is also a notable concern. Cooldowns: TBVC: [0/6] CA: [0/3]

Justimon may have been stricken by madness, but she had a target to beat down, first and foremost. Maybe if the ram was beaten down, then these specters would disappear. Barring that? She'd dispatch each of these one by one. Either that or the ghosts would get her and they couldn't touch her because then she'd need to start ripping THEM apart too.
The mega level's Trinity Arm resumed the form of the Accel Arm as she gave chase after the Pajiramon, taking wide strides as she promptly launched a blow that was not meant to kill in the slightest. No, she sought to use Smash to LAUNCH Pajiramon at one of the specters, she couldn't even TELL who was who!
Meanwhile, Aya managed to note that -something- had changed. "...We need to move. We need to move now." She murmured as her gaze moved towards Carlos, who had just thrown Dio into his mega level. They genuinely COULD NOT stay where they were unless they wanted to get turned into mince meat. Aya had to keep her eyes peeled for an opening.
Unfortunately, she was unaware that Coolmon's attack might send a goat their way...
Heroine: Justimon is -JUSTICE ITSELF.- Do you think it’s easy to break? FOOL! Coolmon gets a 30% flat damage reduction in this form! Coolmon's gonna attempt to pursue and hit Pajiramon with Smash! Her intent with this is to send the goat flying as live ammunition against one of ANY of these damn specters. Damn madness arrows.
Trinity Arm: Smash!: An enhanced Buster Punch powered entirely by the Accel Arm. It hits with enough force to possibly send an opponent flying or plummeting to the ground as well as make a sizable dent in armor. Two turn cooldown.
Cooldowns: Digizoid Barrier: 2/3 Smash!: 0/2

Despite seeing his attack failing completely and his opponent barreling down in his direction at top speed, Dio would not move an inch from where he was standing, instead simply bringing up his arms in front of his chest, his entire frame tensing up as he braced for the impact which soon followed as the metallic gauntlets from the Belphemon's hands blocked the Vajramon's attack. Mostly, as while Dio was still unscathed, he still certainly felt the strenght behind the attack. Whatever that lousy bird had done to the Deva's just now had made them stronger, sturdier. The already physically imposing body of the Vajramon was practically bursting at the seams with power, and it showed: even though Dio's defense held strong against that attack, the force behind it was more than enough to push the demon back, a trail being carved on the ground as he was sent sliding back on his feet, though luckily Dio managed not to fall like his brother had previously. That was the last thing he wanted whilst facing the centaur. As for Gio? Well he wasn't doing too well: while he had been able to get back on his feet by now and some of his wounds had at the very least been patched up a bit, there was still the issue of the large sword embebed into his arm. As his other arm was still recovering from the previous attack, the wargrowlmon found himself in a bit of a predicament...or at least so he seemed, as he knew exactly what to do. With a loud snap he'd bite down the hilt of the sword with his metallic maw, and began pulling from it with the same care and subtlety of a wounded animal. Which of course meant a loud, earpiercing scraping noice of metal against metal mixed with choked snarls of pain. It hurt. It hurt a lot, more so now since he had forgotten how that felt like. Yet his eyes were not clenched shut, not focused on the blade on his arm, they were locked on the battle around him. Coolmon trying to punch the Pajiramon away despite being shot in the chest, the wizardmon and deputymon facing down against the monkey deva and, perhaps most notably to the ultimate level, both his brother and "niece" transforming into an even larger, higher form just to keep up fighting. It was...scary to him, but also almost awe inspiring. He wanted to be there and help out his brother, and his niece, and everyone else but...he needed more power. Or did he? As soon as his brother had digivolved he could feel something deep down changing, growing progressively more unstable and hot with each passing second, as if his digicore would explode out of his chest at any moment. Power...he already had that power. His brother's power. Their old selve's power...the dark lord's power. All he had to do was reach out and give it a gentle tap. Once again he bit down the sword, this time with far, far more force, enough to shatter it into a million bits of data. Said bits didn't simply flew away, but rather started converging around the now impossibly blinding glowing body of the wargrowlmon. He'd open his mouth once, and what came from it wasn't a roar, or a snarl, but a simple, calm and focused order. "Carlos. Now."The man didn't react immediatelly, his eyes shifting between his glowing digimon and his equally glowing digivice. He'd soon enough would give it a tap, making both of the lights glow far brighter than before. Soon enough Gio too changed once again, his body now being covered completely by the same metal armor that covered his chest, arms and mouth, claws growing longer and sharper, his entire being twisting and shifting into something far different. Something that oddly enough, almost bore a slightly passing resemblance to the thing they were fighting. The oddly colored Hadesmon didn't remain still for much longer, as he soon began charging once again at the Vajramon. Speaking of remaining still, Carlos soon turned to face Aya (after the initial shock of what he had just witnessed passed) and gave her a nod. She was right, things were escalating far too much, they had to put some distance between them and the fight as soon as possible. "R-right." He said, quickly scanning the area behind them in search of better cover. "As soon as you see an opening, we make a run for it."
Dio blocks Vajramon's charge with Gauntlet of Tartarus, while Gio digivolves into Hadesmon.
Passives: [RAM Upgrade Giga] Axon Charge: Due to Gio’s rather odd upbringing and traces of his old demon lord data, his body and very core react to physical trauma in an different way. Furthermore he can spend all five charges to create a medium ranged explosion around him causing heavy damage to up to two targets, but can’t gain charges for the next two turns.
Axon Charges: (4/5)
Named move damage increase 20%

It was a pity, Cross thought, that she hadn't been bluffing with her intent to harm. Lee had judged her soft-hearted and had not thought she would be willing to do true damage to him or his digimon. He had been wrong, but that didn't mean she didn't regret what was about to happen as the Hawkmon ripped open her arm with his talons the wound gushing crimson tinted data as the avian mon opened his mouth to scream and brag. Confident in the 'perfect' defense of his chrome digizoid armor as he rallied 'his' troops.
He likely never saw the attack coming as Cross flicked the green glowing syringe into her hand and drove it down into the Hawkmon's mouth her grip tightening around his neck as she slid the needle under his waggling tongue and pushed down the plunger. The liquid contained within the hardened glass vial a familiar one to Lee as his own concoction was turned against him.
"The dose amount is not initially fatal, but I would give him one minute before permanent damage is done, five minutes till death. You'll never reach a clinic in time even less one that has studied and has the capacity to create an antidote for a toxin this obscure." She stated voice flat, red eyes locked on Lee's.
"Toss over the digivice or he dies in agony." The female Baalmon ordered with no room for argument and one ear tuned to the breathing of her patient/victim.
It didn't have to be like this. . . She silently mourned, but ruthlessness and cold mechanical logic smothered the sentiment before it could ever take it's first breath.
Cross stabs Hawkmon in the mouth with the toxin from the Chaos Arena, by-passing the Chrome digizoid armor.
