Tadao's eyes widened at this news. So they were meant to do justice against this unknown enemy that had knocked out their team with their sleeping concoction, and they were going to capture someone that would spill the beans on the operation.
"Oh..." Tadao replied, blinking. "Wow, that's... that's pretty heavy thing to do." he admitted. For a brief moment, he wanted to run away from this, but then Logan looked at him. Logan with his fierce eyes, Tadao knew was inherited from two digimon that knew when the right time to fight was. In that moment, Tadao's resistance crumbled. This was the right time to fight. And since he was partner to the son of the leader of KIZNA, Tadao knew he could not stand in the way of this. His only choice was to go ahead.
"Alright, I see. If that's the action that's required, we'll do our best to meet it." the young man answered.
Talk of the fossils after this was something Tadao couldn't focus on. Not after he had made the internal decision he had just done. "Whatever it takes, let's do this." he said. Logan smiled, then emerged from behind him, indicating to Hikaru that he had gotten over the initial shock of his Plutomon form and was willing to work with him in this, however he could. While, deep down, he wasn't sure how a child level could possibly be of assistance here in the shadow of his father's full power, he'd do his best. After all, he didn't want to let his family down.

"Well, if we let them do whatever, we'll always get this sort of thing on repeat anyway," Hikaru answered. "So best make them spill the bean and be on guard. I don't think we can deal with the syndicate today though... That would be suicide."
The Plutomon would guide the rest to the digging site. The wall of the site contains many mineral and materials, but none of them seem to be digimon fossils. Just ammonites and prehistoric crustaceans it seems. Yuuki who scanned them with his D-Nexus only can shake his head negative. "Not the kind of fossil we want," he clarified. The corridor of the site is still a bit full with sleeping gas it seems... and Hikaru does not seem to react... he simply floats like a specter. At times, he goes through a wall before returning and shaking his head negative.
"By the way, there are no other workers here, right?" Haku asked.
"Nope," he replied bluntly.
"I see... Still, it's interesting that the digging site is happened to be a cave or sort..."
"Admittedly this is the first time I have entered the shaft too... so I guess, uh... we'll see how it goes."
There are seem to be some carcass of massive creature or sort...
"What are these supposed to be?" Yuuki muttered out loud.
"Looked like some sort of molted thing if you ask me."
"Enemy?"
"Not too sure about it, but it looked... like a herbivore? Or at least it looked like that to me."
This ruins complex definitely looked complicated, considering there seem to be some sort of networks made of fossils... which sadly are not the sort of fossils they're looking for.

So, Hikaru confirmed that this was meant to mainly be an intelligence-gathering mission. That made sense. "Alright, so if we do this, it'll be easier for us to act in future. I'm good with that." Logan said. It surprised Tadao, but, Logan was Owen's son, and upon confirmation that this was a recon mission, the Offmon was somehow more motivated. Maybe it was Owen's data in him?
The ruin site was still full of sleeping gas, so neither Tadao or Logan went close. All they had to go on was Hikaru's information.
Then they came across a massive creature's fossil. Apparently some sort of herbivore.
"Wow... this is no digimon I know of." Logan remarked, raising a paw to his chin in wonder.
Tadao meanwhile turned to Yuuki and Hikaru. "So, what's the next part of the plan?" he asked, eager to get to the bottom of this. "You suggested setting a trap, right? What sort of one should we set up?"
"Ideally something that can silence them right away." Logan said, the part of him that was Owen coming to this conclusion quickly. "We don't want them calling for help."
"Good point." Tadao agreed, then turned to Hikaru. "You have the most power here, so, do you have any abilities that can do such a thing?" he asked.

"I'm not the reckless type," Hikaru commented, chuckling. "I don't want to charge ahead without a plan, that would be rather silly, right? But either way, I'm counting on you, Logy. Your ability will be crucial in here... Especially since I feel something strange up ahead."
"Strange?" Yuuki parroted.
"...Look at your D-Nexus."
True enough, his D-Nexus begin glitching, almost as if...
"...Bastards, they're using Dark Digicites, it looks like..." Yuuki spat. "No wonder that my Digivice felt a bit strange for some reason..."
"D-Nexus is especially high in Pearl Digicite concentration... in turn, they're very sensitive toward the dark digicites," Hikaru explained. "You can say while it's not inherently weaker to it, it's like an allergic reaction... Just in case, I'll stay in this form, but most likely I'll devolve...."
About the traps uh...
"...Unlikely I'll have something like that ready, but I'm thinking slipping traps by using my frosty trail, you see. However... maybe if it's from far away...?" he muttered. The Plutomon edged closer to where he assumed to be the area of effect of the Dark Digicites. He brings his index finger closer to his mouth as a sign for the other to keep their silence. The moment they do, Hikaru suddenly unleashed thick dark fog to the corridor. He quickly waved his arm, signalling for them to go forward.
One thing that the team noticed is the fact that the fog doesn't hinder their sight. However, Hikaru has devolved. There was also various obscenities shouted by what can be assumed as the spies.
"Bingo," Hikaru muttered. "Logy, do you have any technique that can cut the opponent's communication or silence them?"
