Up There [Holly]

Honestly all the times that Holly had been up to luminas it was never before that coup. It was never before she saw the difference in the structures, difference in the mons. Less fear, more happy. Stuff that you could kind of expect to see from a proper city. She was glad that they had shifted away from the way they did things, it felt more right being up here. Made her core a lot happier, she could feel it bouncing inside.

But even though she was used to being up here, she was forced to be in her rookie form as it was dominantly recognized as being a champion. Made it a little harder to get places and a lot of door handles were jumping height. Which made that trip to the school for information a bit hectic. Grumbling to herself once she was outside of the school the meicoomon was at least able to get up into champion. The cheerful looking meicrackmon radiating with happy thoughts.

A lot of the info in this brochure is practically giving away free stuff. Silly angels~

She'd hum along trotting away from t he school. Too much longer still and the meicrackmon found herself bumping into someone. Which of course brought her head up and an apology on her lips which died halfway through. Though it had been a while since their last meeting she still recognized the base scent of her friend.

"Sorry about- M-mae?"

If this was her friend at least. What was the other meicrackmon doing up in luminas of all places? And in a cloak like that? Wait. Was she some spy or something like that? Did Mae do work like holly did before? It was hard to actually tell...

Holly really didn't mean to bump into her friend, she'd manage a small smile at the other meicrackmon and shifted slightly. Noting the other person that her friend was talking to; she'd manage a small wave to the other one before turning her attention to the other.

"I think the last time we met we watched movies together? It was before that entire kerfluffle of working up here I think. It's- wait what do you mean you shoulda seen this coming?"

The meicrackmon raised a brow and shifted a bit; placing the brochure away into her infini-storage for later when she wasn't talking to someone she knew. That'd be rude if she did that after all! Holly's brow raised a little bit; following where her friend was looking. A bounty board of all things? Holly didn't really do bounties herself but she understood the want or desire to.

"Oh even if it was I wouldn't judge ahah! We could find a bench or something, they do have... benches up here right? Angels sit don't they? Or do they just hover?"

Holly rubbed at the back of her head and then paused when mae addressed the fact that she didn't know how to go about running into [or being ran into..] by people she knew after a job. Reporting a job perhaps? The meicrackmon gestured to one side before grinning slightly.

"Why don't you finish reporting or whatever and we can talk afterwards~"

"Oh you were in that too? My ma talked a little bit about that though she didn't mention you. I think it's probably because she wasn't int he same area."

Holly had been rather young when that event transpired. Honestly she didn't even know how bad it was, she had those rose tinted glasses the whole way through and just... Well. She had to admit her mother not telling her too much was probably a good thing.

"I wonder if they can float and sit at the same time."

Holly blinked a little bit as the Luminamon piped up as mae stated she was done here. So mae was really tough too? She had managed to take out a seraphimon? The meicrackmon let out a low whistle and eyed her friend up n down. She hadn't expected that but it managed to get a rather cheerful smile from her.

"Sure! Lets go find a place to sit then~"

After all it'd be a nice walk to go find a place to sit down, maybe they could do other things too? She wasn't super sure about it but honestly she didn't mind. She was really happy to find mae again after all this time.

"Da's having me sign up to school here. Said that it'd do good on my resume for having schooling up here or something. So I was just uh... finishing sign ups?"

"Huh. Well. It was probably a good thing!"

The meicrackmon snickered a little bit and rubbed her neck. She hadn't been anywhere near the fighting, in fact she had been far in the digital core away from the craziness that was the wisemon final battle. She didn't want to think what it would of been like had she been in the fledgling town of rosewood.

"Think they could teach me how to do that?"

The meicrackmon gave the Luminamon a brief wave, a cheerful smile and padded along with the other cat. Holly would easily keep up with her friend and given the chance would take half of the bench for herself, sticking out her tongue at the other with a chuckle.

"I'll still be living out of my parent's place up until a place in the dorms open up. Or if I feel like buying a house up here. I want to be a doctor and a lot of the schools up here are some of the best. Great library or no there's some things you just can't beat! Like being able to find your way home..."

Holly let out a marvelous chuckle and shook her head. There was a span of time where she got lost in the woods trying to find the great library which had moved off on it's own. She had spent most of that day trudging through the mud trying to find the tracks only to stumble on them far into the evening!

"What about you? Are you gonna move up here? Or still gonna stay in the library?"

"Hmm... I'm already learning energy control from my da, or rather learned it from him. It's how I made jade."

Holly flicked her ears, mulling over the fact that the orbs weren't here with her now. That had been one of her proudest moments, creating a sentient AI with the capacity to learn and act as though they did. If it was as simple as doing something like that... The meicrackmon gently clicked her tongue against the roof of her mouth.

"Is that what humans do in the human world? I don't know much about them or their lifestyles. As I've only met a small handful and it's always for short spans of time. Like uncle carlos. Oh! Books yeah uhm... well Da is pretty certain I can get most of the books I would need out of the library or somewhere on the tamernet. Even though they're fairly cheap he seems to think it's a good idea to save a few bits."

THe meicrackmon shrugged and leaned on the bench, seeming somewhat happy to have a place to sit. She'd flick her ears as the other told her that yes, indeed she might get a place here or just end up staying at the library. With a gentle but thoughtful hum holly considered something briefly.

"Well if I get a place before you up here, you're welcome to visit or stay there as long as you want. I don't normally take up much room myself unless I'm using my scout clones to do work. Oh! And Da said he's looking for a place; don't know if he told you but we might be moving soon~"

The meicrackmon let out a snicker; the idea of having their own house and potentially somewhere new to mold into their own was rather enticing... Heck if she got a large enough room maybe she could get bunk beds for her friend here? That would be something that the meicrackmon never had! A sleepover!

"Oh! Uh. Well. I synthisized a set of orbs from multiple types of minerals and composites to try to figure out what would work out best for an artificial core. I eventually found that jade suited my purposes and was close enough to the same wave length that my core pushes out on the regular. So I basically made a artificial digimon that's just a collective of Jade orbs. So I named her jade!"

Holly beamed brightly at the other and leaned back on the bench. She was exceptionally proud of the fact she had managed to do that, even if it had been with help from her Da. There was a small pause when Mae brought up that most humans opted to do this. Was mae an expert when it came to humans? She did introduce her to anime after all...

"...How much do you know about humans Mae? It seems like an awful lot..."

Holly tilted her head a bit and found that she wasn't sure just how much space either location would have. She'd count on her fingers as she considered where she was currently living and snorted in derision.

"Well I'd joke and say that I could always get a bunk bed. But a meicrackmon sized bunk would be crazy!"

Again another pause at Mae's question. The meicrackmon flicked her tail and thought it over. Da had said something about whitewater, ma had said something about Rosewood. They had argued for a bit, but then at some point snowpoint came up and they seemed to calm down a bit...

"From what I can gather it's gonna be snowpoint. Rosewood and Whitewater were other choices but it super depends on what's where."

Holly leaned to eyeball mae, wondering what sort of place that they would have to themselves. It would be something small yes, but what kind of small? How small were they thinking? Were they just going to sleep in a pod? Or maybe a single room sort of place? It was hard to imagine since she didn't know all the sorts of places you could go!
