When Miko mentioned having a holosuit, Inari gave her a look. It was very hard to properly interpret. "...that...is very convenient...yes." She cleared her throat, and took back her holosuit, putting it on. Then she walked towards the door. "Yes, I have found Digimon that were spat out into the river. And yes, they were quite dirty. It is one of the less pleasant ways of ending up out here, which is why they need someone who can quickly offer them a bathtub." With that, she tapped the monitor with her gohei again, making the vines and the little brook disappear. "Are you ready?"

Miko could probably FEEL the amount of 'are you fucking serious' energy radiating from her elder sister at the moment. Or what she perceived to be that, at the very least. The fox just swiftly tapped her holosuit to activate it, the bronze creature being replaced by a girl no older than seventeen, and clad in red and black clothing. You could say she resembled a shrine maiden of paradise who was on break and wearing modern clothing, really.
"Not just a bathtub, though. A warm place to sleep and get their bearings above all else. Though I guess a bath would be ideal as well..." The now-disguised Miko stated as she scratched the back of her head, before nodding towards Inari. "Yes. Ready as I can be."

And so, the two disguised Digimon went on their way. The old-fashioned elder sister, and the more modern younger sister, passing through the side alleys and onto the busy streets of Shibuya. People tried to give the miko enough space to move. She made no attempt to make them, they seemed to be doing it on their own volition. Eventually, Inari dove back into the side alley, navigating the labyrinth of run-down alleys with well-trained habit. Eventually, they reached the river. Their noses smelled it long before their eyes saw it. The smell of this old sewer was so strong, it managed to overpower the multi-faceted smell of the city. Inari did not seem uncomfortable. She was clearly used to the scent. "Here we are. Now, we walk along the river, and watch for suspicious happenings." Then, she got even closer to the foul-smelling body of water.

It was interesting how similar yet dissimilar the two foxes' holosuits had been. Miko had been unfamiliar with the streets of Shibuya--it had been her first time here, in this world, after all! As such, the disguised fox was looking wide-eyed at practically everything, except maybe the side alley she had dove into with her sister.
The river's stench was overpowering to her. Unlike Inari, Miko was not used to this foul smell whatsoever, the girl having to stop and gag for a bit before she shakily continued on. She neared the body of water with Inari, keeping an eye out for anything resembling a Digimon floating in the waste-filled river. "...You come here frequently? It smells awful...Can you see anyone in all this trash?""

Inari's nostrils barely moved as they walked long the riverbank. "I come here every day. You never know when there is someone in need of saving. The smell is abhorrent, but I have learned to close my nostrils. You cannot look through this sewage, but there are always telltale signs." She grabbed a large piece of wood someone had discarded by the bank, and threw it into the river. "Do you see the waves? The subtle bending of the surface as the piece of wood bobs and sinks? That is what we're looking for." She watched the piece of wood sink, and then continued walking!

That had been a fairly plausible explanation for why Inari hadn't been affected by the noxious scents that this part of town was quickly becoming known for in the eyes of Miko. How did one...close their nostrils, though? The disguised fox tilted her head towards her sister as she explained what it was they searched for. The waves. They had to keep an eye out for waves. The younger Digimon paused briefly to commit that to memory before she went to catch up with Inari, keeping her eyes upon the water until she had actually sighted something that resembled what they were looking for. Though, the generator of these waves appeared to be something that looked like it didn't belong in the water whatsoever. A small, onyx-colored Petitmon with what looked like striking red eyes had been floating within the waters, and he certainly did not look like he was having a very good time down there. "S-Sis, look at this!" How...far out was the poor thing? How long had he been there...?

Inari's eyes scanned the surface, and immediately saw the unfortunate little Petitmon. Her eyes widened in shock. "You have done well spotting. Now we must save it. Come forth, Chome." She waved her hands, and the digital entity Chome appeared. It resembled a floating snake made out of copper wires, with a collar resembling a roundabout, the bundles of wires kept together by black plastic bands. Its two eyes shone like the front lights of a car, and its forked black tongue resembled the opaque plastic shell of a soda bottle. It immediately understood what its master wanted, and dove into the repulsive waters, grabbing the Petitmon and wrapping itself around it gently, before swimming back to shore further downriver. Inari ran after it. "We were lucky the poor thing was so small, if it was bigger, we would have to jump in ourselves. I hope the little thing is ok."

"...I did?" Miko blinked, staring out at the little Petitmon. Huh, so she had. As Inari willed her familiar/whatever classification of entity Chome could be described as out into the open, the snake bound by wire and plastic dove into the water, seeking out the floating Petitmon and binding it before moving back towards the shore. Though, Chome would quickly notice a minuscule, chrome, and most importantly pointy shape hopping after it from object to object.
...Was that a Sakuttomon? The answer? Probably. Given it's coloration, it blended in with most of the metallic objects within the river. Miko, though, managed to see it hopping after Chome. "Siiiis, there's another one! ...Though that one isn't stuck." The fox pointed out. "I think the Petitmon should be okay, he didn't seem to have been there for long..."
Once they had reached the shore of the river, they'd find the Petitmon, Chome, and...Sakuttomon. Who was standing at the foot of the water and doing absolutely nothing of note!

Inari was relieved to see the Petitmon was ok. She thanked Chome, and dismissed him, kneeling before Petitmon to check him out. Even if he seemed ok, he could have still swallowed some of that bacteria-ridden water, which could lead to a nasty illness. She looked over to the Sakuttomon as she did. It seemed...quite calm considering what had happened. "...is this your sibling? Aren't you worried? You seem quite at ease." She did not want to accuse him of not acting, as she knew that shock could paralyse even the bravest souls. But his inaction did come off as weird, considering the circumstances.

Petitmon was thankfully alive and well, coughing out some water and trying to shake himself dry despite having no fur whatsoever. The Sakuttomon gave a motion that seemed like a nod, before it finally spoke. "Not at ease. Very worried. Couldn't reach him." This was a rather robotic monotone. As if the in-training wanted to be concerned but it couldn't. Miko, meanwhile, moved closer to the Petitmon, mostly to check him out with Inari.
He seemed okay, despite the aforementioned coughing. "Think we should use some healing on the little guy just to be sure he's okay...?" Miko inquired towards her sister, while Sakuttomon simply stood still. What...was it's deal?

The silver fox raised an eyebrow at the Sakuttomon. "...are you alright, little one? You sound...robotic." She shook her head, and turned her attention to Petitmon. She nodded at Miko. "Yes, a bit of healing should help. Do you have any means of healing? I have a few tinctures, but I want to see what you would do." With Petitmon mostly ok, she could risk letting Miko have a try. Still, she gently patted the In-Training's back to help it cough out the water.

It seemed like this was the Sakuttomon's way of speaking, so...physically? One could definitely say that it was fine, but emotionally? Well, maybe not so much. "I always do. But I am not alright, for my brother yet suffers." The Sakuttomon spoke. Of course, Miko did have some healing capabilities, despite being the more brawny sister of the three. The girl stood, moving closer to Inari and Petitmon before she drew her Gohei from...somewhere(?) and waved it in a peculiar manner.
A pulse of natural energies shot from the Gohei and struck Petitmon, who was admittedly having an easier time coughing up all that water thanks to Inari's aid, but the pulse seemed to revitalize the little guy, which meant an inevitable end to the endless coughing fit he had found himself in.
"Did I do that right...?" Miko found herself wondering aloud.

Inari was confused, the conduct of this little one was most curious. But, she was not one to question this, especially in a situation like this. "Worry not, young one. We will make sure your sibling will recover. I have much experience, and my sister has much...potential." At least, her earnest attempt at healing had borne fruit, seeing how the Petitmon seemed to be recovering. To help it along, she gently squeezed it, to help it cough out the last of the water. "Very good, Miko. For a beginner, that was a good effort. You really do have potential." She then leant over to the Petitmon. "Are you all right, little one?"

The Sakuttomon seemed reassured at the two Miko's reassurances. Well, two is the word here but really it's just Inari being calming. Successfully so at that. Miko wasn't deaf, though. She heard what Inari was saying and...She was honestly a biiit skeptical? Did the young fox really have potential?
What did it even take to have potential? Or realize it, for that matter?
At least Petitmon had been doing better. He even stopped coughing. However, unlike Sakuttomon, Petitmon was...hm. How to put it...He wasn't very verbose. Definitely much more shy than Sakuttomon was, that was for certain.
"B-Better..." The small dragon managed. Miko sighed in quiet relief at this. "Should we take them back to your place? I don't know if it's safe to linger here for long with other Digimon or not..."
A valid concern, probably. What would Inari do?

Inari breathed a sigh of relief when it turned out that the Petitmon was alright. Phew, they had managed to save him. She immidiately nodded when Miko suggested taking them back. "Yes, definitely. It is too dangerous out here for them, humans, digimon or neither. It's a big city. My home should be ideal." She opened her robe, pointing to two large pockets. "Do get in, you will be safe and warm in here." For her first outing, Miko had not done too badly. Inari was, of course, well aware of her sister's rampant flaws, but she also knew of her potential. And she had proven it once again. Maybe she can try and help her rein in her ignorance.
