The newly built Entertainment District of Shibuya, Tokyo was bustling tonight. While it was usually bustling since its reconstruction, there was an additional buzz of activity from the events of Golden Week, where the large amount of national holidays celebrated around early May caused people to take more days off than usual and go somewhere fun. And with its large amount of restaurants, cafe's, arcades, nightclubs, theaters and night markets, the increased activity seemed to be enough to gather the attention of live TV coverage.
As the spring sun set in the west, the coverage was fairly mundane and slice-of-life, with revellers approached by a reporter for vox pop opinions and minor gossip, but all done with smiles and good intentions, with happy couples, families and groups of friends mostly saying that they were thoroughly enjoying this week.
Things took quite a surprising turn when there was a sudden flash of fire from nearby. Many in the crowd gasped and turned, but thankfully they saw it was nothing dangerous. It seemed that a street performer had suddenly begun his show, seeming to conjure plumes of fire from thin air with artistic flair. Many of the crowd, including the cameras turned to face them, forming a circle around them to observe. The conjurer appeared to be a small person in an orange outfit, with fire sprouting from his forehead, wrists and tail. Applause began to sound as he began to juggle the flames.
But it seemed he had a challenger. The crowd gasped with amazement as a glowing blue draconic creature snaked through the air, dripping with water. Its "conjurer" appeared to be another small person, dressed in white, indigo and pink clothing. They could clearly be no older than children.
The water dragon issued its challenge to the firecaster, swallowing his fireballs whole, and he posed to the challenger, conjuring a fire dragon of his own. This display was so incredible that few moved as they observed the fire and water dragons battle in the sky, until after a minute of their dancing, they clashed and erupted into a fireworks display. Much of the crowd applauded, their attention well and truly captivated.
Clearly thinking that this was worthy of an interview, the reporter and camera operator approached the duo as they bowed. The reporter, a young but experienced woman named Fumiko, immediately noticed that the performers could be no older than children for their size. And they also seemed to be dressed as mascots resembling animals.
"That was a magnificent display there! Do you mind if I conduct a brief interview?" she asked them.
"Not at all" the fire conjurer replied with confidence, and the water conjurer smiled and made a noise of affirmation.
"Excellent. I'm Fumiko Konno from Channel 5 news. What are your names?"
"I'm Coronamon and this is my sister Lunamon." the conjurer continued.
"Ah, brother and sister. Wonderful. I admit that I've never seen such a manipulation of water and fire in my life... how were you able to do that?"
"Well, practice obviously, but, it's a skill that we digimon can master fairly quickly with enough talent" the conjurer named Lunamon answered.
"Digimon?" Fumiko repeated. "So are you two from a club or a society...? Could you please explain what that means?"
"Yeah, it means that we're beings from the digital world! And we're here tonight to finally introduce ourselves to you humans!" said the conjurer named Coronamon.
"So... what you're saying, you're not human?" Fumiko asked, struggling to comprehend this.
"Yep, don't worry though, we come in peace" Lunamon said with a chuckle. Fumiko was initially rather nervous about this, thinking that this might be the end of her professional career, but, the powers these "digimon" had displayed live on camera were very impressive indeed. There was that, and the fact that these digimon were speaking perfect Japanese and were so far being friendly made her at least want to roll along with it.
"Well then... if what you're saying is true, then welcome to Earth, Coronamon and Lunamon" Fumiko said, chuckling all the while so she could plausibly deny she was taking them seriously.
They were all then distracted by a rise of fire from a place nearby, quickly drawing the attention of the crowd too. Fumiko and her camera assistant attempted to squeeze through the crowd, and there they saw more small individuals performing live. Only two of them appeared to be living candles, doing what Coronamon was doing and showing an impressive display of dancing flames. Two more strange creatures, one green and one brown, dressed in some kind of native dress, were sitting down on the ground, beating drums. And two more creatures, one bright green with a pink flower on their head, and the other a dark green with a purple flower were dancing to the beat, waving around long tendrils from their leaf-like "hands".
"What in the world...?" Fumiko muttered to herself, as displays like this began to show up all over the Entertainment District. About 20 of these self-proclaimed "digimon" were throwing spontaneous street performances, fascinating much of the revellers present with their displays of fire, light, water, ice, and various other incredible inhuman powers before their very eyes.
OOC: Alrighty, the plot has now started. For this group, we're going to assume that in some way or form, you're already present in the Entertainment District, presumably incognito. Then, suddenly, all around you, these digimon are spontaneously drawing attention with their performances, and freely admitting to one and all that they are in fact digimon, freely revealing to the world what they are and that they come in peace.
For the time being, there will be no post order, and feel free to make up performances of your own by other rookie level digimon that would draw attention.

It was always considered great when Mae didn't have a vision of something happening then going terribly wrong. That could be considered the case thus far, but she didn't have anything to warn her that something like this was going to happen. A trip to the Entertainment District in her holosuit, and the tanned woman (who was really a cat in disguise) found herself bearing witness to a figurative sea of Digimon.
And they were all having fun, too...
The tan woman was watching the Candlemon group's performance with flames, a little mystified by what it was she was seeing. Mae decided to wait until they were done, if they'd ever finish, to inquire. "Wonderful performance! ...Where are you two from?" She didn't dare to drop her holosuit just yet. Maybe if she had a chance to, out of sight...
She at least knew -what- most of the performers were, but Mae wanted to know a why.

Among several Digimons playing music like Otamamon and Soundbirdmon is a red eyed Dorumon who plays harmonica... Harmonica? Yes, not bagpipe. He also isn't wearing his trademark kilt for some reason... but that's given. He's a bit too popular in Digital World, see. If he wanted to blend in, he have to take off everything that is related to his usual apparel. He's currently situated himself quite a distance away from his partner, who's currently with his son instead. Hikaru watched the situation around him.... For the moment, the one that he can smell is the lady...--wait a sec, is that Kappy's signal that he's picking?
"...Since when Kappy is a fe--wait a sec... That must be his daughter that Agito spoke of..."
Meanwhile, Yuuki is currently sitting outside a cafe, nomming on snack. He dressed lighter than usual, with simple sleeveless parka and a-shirt underneath and jeans. This summer was hot to be honest, but thankfully thanks to that performance just now it's slightly less hotter...
It's humid though.
"...'Faith' here," he spoke to his D-Nexus discreetly."...There's not much going on my side at the moment. No report from Hikaru. How are you guys doing?"
There's not much to do at the moment. Here hoping that the impromptu street performance isn't gateway of something... terrible. But it usually is.

Ophelia hadn't expected to come to the Real World so soon - or at least, so relatively soon - after having set off from her home in the mountains. Initially, she wanted to see all that the Digital World had to offer, before she'd explore the Real World, but... Then came Golden Week. And with Golden Week, would come talk of Digimon coming into the Real World to reveal themselves, and discussions in KIZNA regarding the matter. When the time came for the team to begin forming a squad to help maintain the peace when celebrations and the reveal begin, Ophelia and Cassie both were there to sign up for it.
Cassie was excited, curious to know what it was like out there in the world of humans - and Ophelia was more than happy to help pull her weight for the team. Of course, what they both should've expected - but at the same time, didn't - was the need for holosuits... Ophelia took to it rather quickly, already being a bipedal digimon as it was - though she couldn't help but notice that it made her senses feel a bit funny... They weren't too muddled or weakened, just off, which took some time getting used to. Cassie, however, had more issues - as it turned out, going from a quadrupedal seal-like build to bipedal meant that her sense of balance wasn't very strong! It took some time for them to even get Cassie to where she could comfortably stand and walk, let alone do other things like running or jumping around, and it still was very awkward for the little Gomamon-X. Thankfully, Ophelia was there to help out with that.
Thus, as the duo made their way through the streets of the Entertainment District - seeing the sights with wide eyes and palpable excitement and curiosity - they would be able to blend in with humans at least half-decently, between having had time to practice, and their teammates' guidance. They looked to be nothing more than a pair of teens who were out and about, enjoying the sights just as everyone else was - Ophelia following Cassie around as the hyperactive sibling dragged her around (still surprisingly strong, even in this holosuit) and up and down the streets, calling "C'mon, c'mon, look over here! Everything here's so bright and shiny!" Ophelia, all the whilst, would be unable to help laughing in turn - the excitement absolutely contagious. "Eheheh, wait up a second, Cassie!"
The two would be looking at the posters put up in the window of an arcade, though, when something caught Ophelia's attention. Pausing for a second, the Spadamon-disguised-Human would sniff the air, noting a few... Distinctly not-human-scents in the air. Sure, they'd seen the occasional animal - Ophelia couldn't help but groan softly to herself at recalling the dog that kept barking at her and Cassie, as they had passed - but this was something more familiar. More like....
"Ophi, aren't those digimon over there...?"
Ophelia would glance over to Cassie, noticing that her sister's attention was off to the side. Following the disguised Gomamon-X's gaze, she would indeed come to spot a couple of digimon - a Lunamon and Coronamon - in plain sight, performing to an audience. The duo would watch as the fire and water dragons would 'fight' in the air above the two conjuring digimon, both of them dazzled by the performance as well, even if they weren't truly humans themselves! "Hey, hey, Ophi..." Cassie would begin as the dragons would collide, bursting into fireworks - the two sisters glancing to each other once Cassie got the other's attention - "What if I did something like that, too? Blend in with the performers, while you watch?"
Ophelia would hum to herself for a second, visibly contemplating the suggestion. On one hand, they were supposed to be incognito, but... Cassie, being a healer, could probably put her skills to work if someone was hurt while performing, and she'd probably feel a whole lot more comfortable in her actual form. With these thoughts in mind, Ophelia would decide to smile and nod. "Hell yeah, go for it! I'm sure people would love to see you put your strength to use, or blow some bubbles!" She would mention - to which Cassie would grin widely, glee apparent on her face. "Yippee!" The Gomamon-X would cheer as she jogged (Or more accurately, stumbled - she was still getting a hang of running!) towards the Lunamon and the Coronamon, shedding the Holosuit to return to her true Gomamon-X form as she did.
Though it might've been difficult to weave thru the crowd as a human, Cassie would have no trouble in her more short-statured Gomamon-X form weaving thru the humans to approach the Lunamon and Coronamon duo. "Hey, hey! My name's Cassie!" Cassie would introduce herself to them with a bright and friendly smile, asking "Can I join you two in performing? I'm pretty strong, and I can do this!"
She would begin to blow a large bubble - filled with faintly glow water. Once the bubble was formed, she would begin to bounce it atop her head, giggling gleefully as she did, blowing additional bubbles, until she had three bubbles, juggling them all together, bouncing them on her head! "I've been practicing this for awhile, and I think it'd go great with Lunamon's water stuffs!" She'd chirp cheerily, grinning widely, before glancing over to Fumiko, and waving a fin at her. "Oh, and hello there Miss!" She would greet the young reporter, smiling brightly. "It's been really fun, exploring the Human World like this - it's my first time coming out here! Is every day usually like this?"
Cassie's bubbly and cheery personality would be regarded with a chuckle and a smile from Ophelia - who would stand at the sidelines in the meantime, as she listened closely. As mentioned before, being in a holosuit didn't necessarily make her senses weaker. They just... made her senses feel odd. It was hard to explain, beyond it just being Weird and Different. Either way though, she would be listening closely to her surroundings, peering around, and sniffing the air - staying aware of any digimon in the area. One could never be too sure, if every digimon here had good intentions....
It would be then that the D-Nexus in her pocket buzzed, and she would reach down to pull it out - bringing it up to her ear. "Oh, all's good here! Cassie's trying to see if this Lunamon and Coronamon wouldn't mind her performing with them, and I'm just watching nearby." Ophelia would begin, scratching the back of her head. That was another thing she'd quickly note was 'off' - her claws weren't so sharp. They were weird and blunt, even if that meant she could scratch harder without worrying about hurting herself too badly. "How's it going on everyone else's end, guys?" She would ask - glancing around to see if she couldn't spot her teammates from here.

It was not every day a whole slew of Digimon would gather at any place in the Digital World at any one time, normally, an appearance of a wild Digimon was a little patchy at best and, if a Tamer hadn't followed behind, a huge cause for concern. And yet, today, Kenny and his dad Michael was bearing witness to a whole slew of Digimon just hanging out; casually performing with each other, conversing with humans, and the like.
Casually, Kenny approached the group of humans and Digimon interacting, his own dear dad following behind, albeit a little cautiously. He just turned his head to his dad, "No worries, dad, they're friendly." Michael only smiled and nodded. He felt the little kid inside of him squealing with joy again. As a kid, he did wish Pokemon were real, and these Digimon, happily just chilling with people, made him feel like that little childhood dream had been satisfied. An aside glance and he spotted a pair of humans, sounding oddly familiar. One of them (the purple haired human) referred to the other (the young grey haired girl) as 'Ophi', and had a short conversation about performing to the others. But what really cinched it was that the purple haired human had took off her holosuit and called herself Cassie. Yep. Ophelia and Cassie were there. All the signs were there.
A few moments later, his own D-Nexus buzzed loudly, in which Kenny opted to answer, "Oh, uh, hey Faith." He said, "We're fine, for now. There's like a billion Digimon here, and my dad's a little worried. And I can see some of my teammates right now." Hanging up, he then went to summon Skadi from his Digivice, adding "Skadi, you can come out now." And one flow of data and bright light later, Skadi stood out, looking up to Kenny pointing to (what was presumably) Ophelia. Her eyes were practically glued to them at this point. Cassie was happily chatting to a reporter, and the holosuited Ophelia just watched her happily. It all lead to a sense of familiarity to her. Jesmon Christ Mode how she missed her and wanted to be with her again.
Throughout the chatter, Skadi could at least hear Kenny as he said, "Okay, Skadi. Remember, we're here to chill and have fun, and to prove to everyone you Digimon can peacefully co-exist with the humans. So, just stay with me, and-" Too late. Without warning, Skadi was charging up ahead to (who she thought was) Ophelia, arms outstretched, ready to leap onto her and give her a big hug. And Skadi's hugs were undeniably a little hard to say the least. It would not be much of a surprise if Ophelia was knocked over by Skadi's strength alone. Kenny just gave chase, to try and stop her, but it was too late. The second she got close enough, the second she leapt, aiming to latch onto her like a moth to flame.

She had thought the first time that she would of gone to the human world would of been a happier venture. But honestly everything felt muted, sad, frustrating. She could feel the well of negative emotions cascade over her; making everything just feel... Off somehow, the normal peppy cheerful meicoo that had a thousand more questions instead just seemed a touch more jaded than she should be.
Edges of sadness, lack of sleep and a somewhat uncertain vibe rolled off of her holosuited form. People gave her a soft berth, as much as you could in japan. Some people just attributed it to her outfit, some kind of aviator. The lack of sleep made sense, the inability to really feel what was going on.
The first performances that cut through the crowd and showed off what was what honestly wasn't a surprise to her. She'd raise a brow, bringing out a phone to snap a picture of the event. Unlike the gawking humans around her, digimon weren't a surprise.
She'd pardon herself through the crowd, find herself a nice cafe and sit down. The waiters and waitresses all ooing, aahing and pointing out amazing displays that just bit wrong into holly's ears. The disguised cat managed to flag down one of them before ordering a mocha. Something she had been told to try out by a friend.
That and she had to find some kind of cookie for her sister.
The waitrer seemed to think she was male, made all the efforts and used all the honorifics. A small bemused smile crossing the meicoomon's face. She had picked this holosuit in an effort to blend in better, people wouldn't look at her as quickly or dwell on the fact an aviation person was about. She had done her research, pilots were respected but often more than not left alone unless you really knew them.
She heard the crackle of the D-nexus in her ear piece and the disguised mon thanked the waiter for their time before bringing a hand up to her ear. Pressing the 'talk' button so that she could communicate with the others. Her voice held very little in the way of emotion, sounding almost flat. There wasn't that playful curiosity or the energy that she was well known for. Why should she be? She had a very rough week.
"Pilot here. Some performers, onlookers and what looks to be a small news station. No sign of problems yet."
The meicoomon keyed on her mute button and gave her mocha a deep sip. The caffeine would normally burn bright in people's cores but her annoying habit of being able to burn through things like this without the side effects irritated her.
Reminded her a bit of captain america, how he couldn't get drunk. She couldn't either but that's because her body burned brightly. Her eyes flicked to the window as more people passed by, trying to get closer to the performers. She'd shift in her seat, looking towards the bathroom. In a pinch she could probably use that to shift out of her holosuit...
"Pilot here. Found a good spot to change if needed. Let me know if you need me."
She'd run a gloved hand through her hair, amused at the fact of what all was going on. It felt muted like everything else. Perhaps if she brought her sister to this place they'd enjoy themselves more. Maybe they'd be able to get some sense of self now that she was gone.
Yeah right.

Post by Carlos Rey on Jun 23, 2019 15:41:14 GMT
It would be a lie to say either Carlos or the twins were even aware that a gathering of digimons was in the works. In fact, neither of them were really aware of any of the happenings that had lead to such an event, things had been busy enough in the Digital World for them to keep up with Earth related news as well.
Just before the commotion started the three of them were simply minding their own business, out and about at the Entertaining District hoping to make the most out of the Golden Week while it lasted. Needless to say the digital twins were hidden under their holosuits, two small kids with silvery hair not unlike that of his Tamer, so one could be mistaken for assuming they were somehow related. All the better to lay low, really.
But then well...the digimon made their move, doing something that would have been unthinkable. not only standing out in the open for everyone to see, but actually performing to get the attention of the crowd! A Lunamon and Coronamon having a special effects battle, Palmons and Alraumons dancing to the beat of drums, a Gomamon popping out of the crowd and blowing out giant bubbles, a trio of gesomon marching and playing their trumpets to an odd tune, and even a couple of mamemons standing on top of eachother in a weird balancing act...
It was like the weirdest and most colorful flash mob ever conceived.
"Pft, buncha show offs..." Dio shook his head, not nearly as easily impressed as the humans around them.
"So cool...Can we join in Carlos? Can we please, please?" His brother Gio would beg lightly tugging the man's shirt whilst giving him the biggest puppy eyes his holosuit could muster. Everyone seemed to be having so much fun, it was no wonder the young digimon wanted in as well.
Carlos opened his mouth to object, but stopped himself, and thought about it for a moment. This seemed like a lifetime opportunity for these two...so why not let them have it? It was either that or lay low and watch from a distance.
...lay low? And miss all the fun and five minutes of fame? Yeah right.
"Alright alright. Just don't do anything too stupid." The man conceded with a chuckle, prompting the twin to jump with joy, his holosuit flickering and pettering out on the way down, revealing the black scaled lizard hiding underneath.
Without any prompting, he'd stard spewing little balls of glowing energy into the air. After gaining enough height the spheres would stay suspended up there for a second or two, before detonating into a loud and bright crackle of harmless (at that range anyways) light. It would probably not be nearly as flashy or eye catching as the performance made by the Coronamon and Lunamon, but it would probably make a couple heads turn anyways.
As for Dio? He wouldn't even try to keep his facade of responsible older sibling for long: seeing his brother having his way, he'd simply turn off his own holosuit without much fanfare, before joining in with the blackguilmon's little harmless performance, the impmon throwing small spheres of ice in the direction of Gio's own fire works (plasma works?).
"Fools, this is how you show off."
They kept at it for a good minute or so, until Gio suddenly stopped in his tracks, loudly sniffing into the air. With a curious head tilt, he'd turn away from the group and make a beeline into a near...cafe?
"Goddamnit, not again..." Carlos sighed, as he followed behind the stray dinosaur. God knew it was unwise to let Gio get anywhere closer to sugar or caffeine. He had learned that the hard way. Dio simply shrugged at this, and continued doing his best to amaze the crowd, clearly enjoying himself too much to pay attention to his brother's shenanigans.
By now, the child sized dinosaur would have made his way close to one of the tables of the place, and would be standing close to one of the patrons in there, giving them a quizzical look, before speaking.
"Holly-niece? Why are you here?"

The Candlemon looked at the person that approached them. As digimon, they could tell that this humanoid figure was a digimon wearing a holosuit, but neither of them acted negatively because of this. "We're from the city of Luminas, madame!" one said, speaking in a refined accent that sounded similar to French. "Perhaps we should say... "New Luminas", considering the revolution that has occurred there recently."By now, many revellers in the entertainment district were catching on that this was an incredible event. Most of them in Hikaru's vicinity were either cooing with delight as they took photographs of him, while others send messages to their friends that there were some incredible street performances being done here tonight. Meanwhile, Lunamon and Coronamon were intrigued when they were joined by a Gomamon-X, who requested to perform with them. While an unusual request, both of them were inclined to agree. "Well, what can you do?" Lunamon asked, curiously. The digimon that introduced herself as Cassie then demonstrated her abilities, juggling bubbles. The brother and sister digimon exchanged looks, then nodded at each other, realizing they could incorporate this into their act. With this, Lunamon and Coronamon concentrated their powers. Lunamon used her water manipulation to carefully direct the bubbles to her brother, who then used his fire manipulation to carefully light fires within them. Before long, many bubbles with flames within them were floating throughout the district. Not hazardous in the slightest, once they touched a surface they would pop and their flame was instantly extinguished, but it provided an impressive sight for those that looked above. Before long, they were joined by two more digimon adding their techniques to the special effects. Most of the crowd of humans watching below were mesmerized by the display. Most of them thought this was some kind of fantastic new method of optic illusion. After all, how should they think otherwise? Meanwhile, seated at a cafe nearby was a pale skinned woman dressed in red, wearing sunglasses, sipping a martini with a slice of lemon. "Fools... they think they have this all under control." she thought to herself. "Cripple DATS by presenting digimon as harmless beings... oh no, it won't be as easy as that, that's for certain..."Just before she began to grow impatient, Archnemon felt the presence she had been looking forward to, then smiled. Her assistants had managed to break through it seemed, and were materializing in several places within the crowd. So far, the forward force consisted of a Soulmon, Buraimon, most shockingly, a Golemon, and probably most awkwardly, a Nise Agumon Hakase materialized at various places in the district. Yet none of them made a move just yet. All awaited reaction from their appearance.

...Luminas. Where she resided. "Ah. That...sounds like a wondrous place, New Luminas..." Mae gave a knowing wink towards the Candlemon, as well as a fond smile. Perhaps she could interact with them a little further later? Maybe make some friends that knew the area.
Her nose picked up a few data signals--some familiar to her. Others not so much. Hm. The Meicoomon, disguised as she was, was still quite capable of picking up upon particular signals. She peered around the district, before she noted a few more signals materializing. Hm.
...A Buraimon? "I'll be a moment, enjoy Earth!" Mae told the Digimon as she proceeded towards the stench of...well, bird. Once there, she stared towards the avian. "...Hi there. You new here? My name's Mae." A simple introduction, all things considered. Her foresight wasn't acting up or anything right now....

Hikaru enjoyed the attention, posing for those who requires him to do so, playing the harmonica and whatnot... he hoped that his indistinct look (bars his eyes, but hey, how many red eyes Dorumon are out there? Lot enough for him to pretend to be one of those normal one, he hoped) would not reveal his true identity. However... he felt a chill down his spine.
...Hm, tingly. His danger sense is tingling. There's trouble afoot, and there are some new appearances of Digimons... one quite close to him, a hat that appeared out of nowhere. Considering that tonight might be an apt time to strike and cause mayhem, he guess this is the right time for him to move, huh? Hikaru bade goodluck to his performing partners and walked as he plays his harmonica, playing the simple tune that seem came from faraway, distant Digital World. Hikaru tapped his leg twice. At first sight it might looked as if he's just a bit tired from standing too long, but this is his signal.
His partner already noted his move.
"Faith here, there's a shift in atmosphere," Yuuki's voice would rang on the D-Nexuses. "Your order at the moment is to stay doing what you're doing if so you desire, but if you want to approach target, do it carefully. Don't make too sudden of a movement, and avoid provoking them too much. Keep your KIZNA badge hidden until you think it's needed, over."
He himself have to move. Yuuki tied his hair and put on a cap. With this sort of look, he guess he won't be any different than some street dancers that might came down the road to dance from the Digimon show. But his target is different... While slightly dancing at times, following the music, he made sure that his focus is still on his partner.
"I'm approaching the first target, a Soulmon," Yuuki's voice once again heard speaking through the D-Nexus. He also turned on the auto-mapping function. It's hard to make off just how many new appearances are there considering how many Digimons are here... "If you engage a target, make sure to try pacifist route first. If you don't think you can do that, for the mean time try to keep your attention on suspicious figures around you instead. Pilot, mind seeing how stuff looked from above? I feel most of the crowds are child stage, single out any stages above it and give the rest the report, over."
Hikaru meanwhile already so near to the Soulmon. For one reason or another, he already wore a fedora, one that he tipped as a greeting to the Soulmon.
"It's a beautiful night don't you think? A merry one, perfect for a bit of a show... Here to enjoy the show or to perform?" he asked to the Soulmon with pointy hat. Hikaru's tone is even. He's ready to charm his way.

Cassie seemed utterly enthused when her newfound friends were more than happy to let her join in - seeing what they could do with the bubbles she produced, she would clap her front flippers together with glee, "Ehheheee! This is fun!", and would continue to make more bubbles for everyone to use in their performances. Ophelia couldn't help but smile as she watched the group from afar, glad to see that her sister was enjoying herself- but...
Click clack click clack-
Ophelia would hear a clicking noise, like hooves against concrete, as another digimon seemed to be rapidly approaching her. At first, she was on the alert - her eyes snapping in the other's direction - but who she saw was none other than Skadi! The little sheep-digimon was more than happy to try to leap and reach out to her in a big hug, and Ophelia was equally happy to match it; trying to catch her in the process! "W-woah, ahahahaa!" She'd laugh, stumbling a little - but managing to keep upright otherwise as she caught Skadi up in her arms. She would lift Skadi in a big bearhug; nuzzling her cheek against the Valaismon, as though trying to bunt. "Hey, ya little troublemaker," She'd tease playfully, lightheartedly - adding with a giggle "You almost knocked me over!"
Ophelia would glance up from Skadi to next see Kenny and another older-looking man that seemed to be tailing after him. Still carrying Skadi in her arms, Ophelia would walk up to Kenny, asking "Ya lose something?" with a humorous grin as she adjusted how she was holding onto Skadi, and asking "How're you guys enjoying the festivities? Cassie's dove right into performing with some others, and she seems to be having fun - though I think I'ma just watch for now." She'd nod in Cassie's direction, before glancing over towards Kenny's dad - thinking for a moment before glancing to Kenny. "Who's he, by the way?"
As she and Kenny's group were talking, though, something seemed to draw her attention. A movement out of the corner of her eye - glancing in one direction, she would see a strange Agumon in a professor's getup idling around. Ophelia frowned a second, tilting her head - were they there before? They honestly gave a weird feeling in her gut - and being one to trust her gut instincts, she would put Skadi down. "Sorry, I should probably go check this out." She mentioned to Kenny and Skadi, before glancing to Cassie. "You coming with, Skadi, Kenny?"
The Gomamon-X was still performing with her newfound friends, though it was obvious that she had noticed the Nise Agumon Hakase, too, and was watching them from where she stood. As the two sisters' eyes met, they'd nod to eachother - they knew eachother well enough to only need a glance to be on the same page. A buzz from Ophelia's D-Nexus, too, would notify her that Yuuki was speaking - and she would listen closely. "Yeah, I just spotted a weird Agumon that I think wasn't there before - they look like those Hakase Agumon types, but more virus-y." She'd respond to Yuuki - "Am just gonna go talk to them while Cassie keeps performing, but she knows they're there - and Kenny and Skadi might be following after me, too."
With that, Ophelia would bring her D-Nexus down - but kept it in one hand, still on, as she made for the Nise Agumon Hakase. Putting on a friendly smile and grin, she'd fold her arms behind her head in a carefree attitude, asking "Yo! You seem like you just got here - enjoying the festivities at all?" To her understanding, other digimon should be able to tell that she was not really a human, right? So to her, it felt natural to greet the Agumon like this - smiling down to the other. "Even for us digis, who've seen stuff like this before, it seems like a whole lotta fun, eheh!"

Subtly was never really one of Skadi's strongest points, but what she lacked in that, she more than made up for it in infectious energy. Kenny had practically grabbed onto thin air as Skadi leapt onto Ophelia, yelling "OPHELIA!" as her sheep arms wrapping around her friend's human neck like an octopus' tentacles on a jar. Kenny and Michael could only watch as 'Ophelia' stumbled back from the impact.
She laughed along with Ophelia as the disguised Spadamon held her in her arms and nuzzled her, Skadi returning the favour willingly. Kenny found himself laughing as well as he went up close to Ophelia and waved to her, and even Michael was chuckling calmly. It was then she turned to see her other KIZNA teammate and her dad, approaching them and joking about if he lost something of his, "Yeah. My little troublemaker here just up and ran off without telling me first. Thanks for finding her, Ophelia." He joked, leaning over to ruffle Skadi's hair, as her nuzzling continued.
So how were they enjoying the festivities, exactly? "Well, it's been pretty good so far. Gotta admit, your sister Cassie's quite the natural." He cast a subtle glance towards Cassie, who was putting on quite the show with the Coronamon and Lunamon duo. He and Michael were generally impressed by the Rookie's magic show, as seen on their faces. Michael's smile was genuine, these Digimon really did want to co-exist with the humans. Ophelia then asked who the man following him was, "Oh, right, I forgot to mention him. That's my dad. Best I let him introduce himself." He said as he gestured to his dad to approach Ophelia, Michael walking over and extending his hand to Ophelia to shake her own.
"Hello Ophelia. My name is Michael O'Hara, and I'm sure you know of my son, Kenny, already. It's really nice to meet you." He grinned at her. His polite and calm demeanour to fellow adults was extended over to the Spadamon. Being one of Kenny's new friends did inspire a lot of confidence in him.
Suddenly, Ophelia seemed to spot something, and started to frown. Confused, Michael and Kenny turned their heads over to where Ophelia was looking "What's wrong, Ophi?" Skadi asked with a bit of concern in her voice, as she turned her head as well to the perpetrator, an out-of-nowhere NiseAgumon Hakase. She felt Ophelia put her down on the ground and looked at her. Kenny and Michael also looked back at her as she asked if they were going to follow her.
"Yeah, might as well," Kenny shrugged and Skadi nodded, "After all, we teammates, nay, friends, gotta stick together, right?" He winked to his partner, who happily nodded back.
"Right! Besides, if you get in any trouble, Ophi, Kenny and I's got your back!" Skadi grinned at the Spadamon with her arms akimbo and her chest out, while Kenny nodded with a smile. It was clear that they were going to follow Ophelia, not just as members of KIZNA, but also as a valuable ally and friend. It was at this point Kenny's D-Nexus buzzed anew as well, coming from 'Faith'.
"So, uh, Ophelia spotted that weird Agumon over there. We're just going to accompany her, just in case anything goes wrong." He spoke into the D-Nexus. As he hung up, still holding it in his hand, as he detached the KIZNA pin and put it in his pocket, he turned to his dad, "Dad, you coming?" Michael just shook his head.
"No, I'll be fine." Michael reassured him, "After all, you're a member of KIZNA. Best you do your job. Meanwhile, I'll be talking your friend's sister. But if anything goes wrong, call me." As Kenny, Skadi, and Ophelia walked off, Michael leaned down to talk to Cassie, "Why hello there, sweetie. What's your name?"
He then felt a small tap on the knee. Turning around, Ramona the Wormmon looked at the secondary group, with a sly look on her face, "I suppose I must be fashionably late." She addressed the group, "The name's Ramona. Ramona the Wormmon."
Meanwhile, Kenny, Skadi, and Ophelia finally met up with the Agumon. Kenny and Skadi opted to act casual to the suspicious new Digimon, Skadi putting up her usual peppy demeanour. Whereas Ophelia went with a carefree attitude, Kenny opted for a more gentler approach. "Hey, uh, welcome to Shibuya." Kenny smiled at him, "My name's Kenny, this is Skadi, a Valaismon," he gestured to her, who happily smiled and waved.
"Nice to meetcha!"
"And this is Ophelia," he gestured to the 'human', "It's really nice to meet you." He hoped that his polite and friendly gesture would ensure the NiseAgumon Hakase would have a good time in the real world. After all, the purpose of KIZNA was to establish friendly human/Digimon relationships, so why not act politely?

She could tell something changed.
Her eyes shifted and the location suddenly had a different vibe all together. Her expression hardened and the sipping of her mocha became less apparent. She had been sucking it down with gutso but now the disguised mon had for the most part stopped entirely. Something was wrong, but just what?
Then came in the call.
Yuuki saying that there was a shift in the atmosphere, keep themselves hidden and such. The meicoomon's demeanor shifted again, as in a practiced ease. It wasn't hard for her to crack a smile and change the scowl into something more friendly.
Just in time for her uncle to approach her, her expression shifted slightly and her eyes flicked between Carlos and Gio. She'd manage a smile and leaned forward.
"A job uncle, I'm more or less on the clock while sipping mocha. Isn't it great? Good to see you both, I take it Uncle Dio is off being... Uncle Dio?"
Then further still yuuki was now approaching a soulmon? She'd grit her teeth lightly as he wanted to try the pacifist route. One that if they weren't careful could lead to more destruction. Her eyes shifted to look upwards as Yuuki asked her directly to see how things looked from above. She'd lean forward and in a hushed whisper speak to the both of them.
"In fact I could use your help right now. Gio could you find your brother and stick with him, ask him to keep an eye out for strange things. Uncle Carlos could you come with me to the roof? I want to chat with you for a moment."
And then to yuuki...
"Pilot here. Going to the roof. Found some friends; going to get them to help out. Going silent until something happens."
Holly would give a small smile to the both of them and stand up. Placing her payment on the table with the receipt before waving the waitress over. Slipping her a hefty tip and with a small wink she'd address the waiter.
"If you don't mind I just need to go up to the roof to talk with my uncle here. Nothing dastardly I swear~"
With a charming smile she'd slip out to the side alley where the holosuited individual would start her climb up the fire escape. Grumbling just a bit to herself before turning her head to look if her uncle did follow her.
If not? She'd continue on her own. If he did? Well she'd strike up that conversation while eyeballing the street from the top.
"Kizna told me to keep an eye out, like security. There might be a fight and you would of been in danger. I couldn't have that and both my other uncles are better positioned on the ground. Do you have cards and the team application per chance? If not that's fine I just need to know before we get started."
The meicoomon leaned out, her expression hardening a bit. She seemed like a completely different person than what Carlos would remember, she seemed off. A lot more curt, a lot more analytical. Like she was bottling something up...

Just as the white haired man finally caught up to the running blackguilmon he would come to a stop right next to Holly's table. He was about to admonish his partner about not going out on his own like that, until he finally locked eyes with the person on the table, it didn't took him more than a second to recognize them, or rather her. He sighed, somewhat relieved his partner at least wasn't harassing some random person, and gave his niece a weak wave and a smile.
"Job? Like doctor job or Kizna job?" The guilmon asked, scratching his head in confusion which only seemed to increase with her comment regarding his brother. "Dio is always Dio, Holly."
Before this conversation that was probably leading nowhere productive continued however the holosuited Holly would lean forward, asking in a hushed tone for Gio to go be with his brother and be wary of strange things. Without so much as a question or any sort of surprised reaction the dinosaur like digimon gave his "niece" a firm affirmative nod.
"Caaan do!" He replied with a grin and without missing a beat left the cafe before dissapearing back into the crowd, just as quickly as he came, leaving a rather stumped Carlos behind.
"...Holly, can you tell me what's going on?" He'd ask, a knowing look in his eyes. It wasn't hard to tell she knew something was up, and was clearly something too big to be discussed in public if her inviting him to the roof was of any indication. The man followed behind Holly as she left the building and used the fire escape to the side to reach the rooftop.
Once up there, the cat let him in on all the juicy if still vague details of what was going on: the odd appearances of the new digimons in the crowd, KIZNA keeping a closer look on them and the possibility of a fight breaking out at any minute. Carlos could only shake his head and sigh, as he looked down at the crowd alongside Holly. In a way, it was hard for him to be surprised really, wherever digimon went in the human world, trouble was usually not far behind.
"Well...I do have cards. No team application sadly, though not like anything I got is really team oriented, sorry." He said, taking a quick glance at the digivice in his pocket. "But hopefully your other uncles can manage just fine."
"If there's gonna be a fight then we have to do something about all the people down there, humans and digimon battles are not a good combo. Shouldn't we get the other tamers up here too?" He said with a concerned look, though that didn't stop him from adding in a somewhat sarcastic, if selfdeprecating tone, "Or is your did I finally convince your dad that healing tamers is good business?"
Meanwhile, down on the street Gio would have finally returned to Dio's side, and was in the process of nudging (or rather shaking) his brother around to get his attention, giving him a quite...long winded version of the events.
"...and Holly's in the cafe having mocha and it smelled yummy but she says we should be looking for strange things!"
Dio was, of course, still taking in all the information his brother had just abruptly dumped on him. Holly? KIZNA? Where they all here because of a twist of fate or were they expecting these "strange things"? At any rate it was better to look around for any suspicious activity if that was the case (not like his act had gotten the attention he desired). It didn't took them too long to notice a rather odd looking Golemon just silently standing by. Not exactly the most inconspicuous digimon really, the big boulder giant stood out like a sore thumb even among the crowd both digital and human.
As such the twins decided to approach the burly golem, in an unsubtle way beffiting of Dio, of course.
"Hey buddy, isn't going Champion a bit risky? You might give the humans a heart attack."

"What the hell is this...?" Agent Tiger of DATS muttered to herself as she arrived at the Entertainment District, finding it exactly as reported. Digimon were everywhere. Mostly rookie levels, with a few Champions here and there too. And they weren't being secretive either, they were even being interviewed on live TV.
"How do we stop this?" Jiro the Dracomon-X asked from inside Tiger's digivice.
"Where to even start?" Tiger responded, exasperated. She knew HQ couldn't be much help here, as there were two other hotspots currently being attended to by the other DATS agents. Well, she supposed the nuclear option of clearing out the district was off limits, given that her standing orders was to ensure no harm to civilians. Yet... surely this wasn't right? How could she get rid of the digimon? If it came to official warnings and then combat, many could get hurt.
There was so much going on that for the first time in her career as an agent, Tiger was completely stunned. This was a coordinated event, no doubt. Had... someone outplayed them? Well, given that she was one woman and a dragon digimon in a district with hundreds of other people and a few dozen digimon, all she could do at this stage was investigate, and try to keep things from getting dangerous.
"We look forward to seeing you there, madame~" the Candlemon replied to Mae happily, resuming their pyrotechnic display.
As for the Buraimon, Soulmon and Golemon, they looked at the individuals that spoke to them, but didn't reply at first. However, since they were being spoken to so nicely, the three of them looked a little uncomfortable and then looked away, indicating they were busy and occupied at the moment.
Nise Agumon Hakase attempted the same, but being approached by all of Ophelia, Skadi and Kenny and them being so nice, he would wave awkwardly back at them, looking a little stressed. "H...hi" he said. "Sorry... can't talk right now, I'm waiting for someone..."
Meanwhile, Archnemon was waiting for a certain someone to show up. She remained silent and still, using her enhanced senses and a little invention to detect who was in the area. The glasses she wore were designed to put focus on particular... individuals. So far, she detected several devices unique to travellers of the digital world. She didn't know what the D-Nexuses were or exactly where they were, but the fact that she could tell there were several of them made her curious.
But then her main target made their appearance. The DATS agent, their iC-digivice highlighted in red from her view. To her satisfaction, they had only sent one of them. It seemed they were spread thin, as predicted. The time to strike was imminent.
With this, Arachnemon finished her martini, then stood up at her table. With a flourish, she immediately leapt high onto the air, almost flying before landing elegantly on the roof of a nearby building. Her hair billowing wildly, she then cried "Spirit Needle!" and at once, multiple ghostly creatures came roaring into existence, surely gathering the attention of most of those present.
The ghostly creatures were in the vague appearance of Perfect level digimon, at least ten of them, all of them flying through the skies, putting on an impressive display of aerial acrobatics, dancing displays of might, even some of the ghosts battling each other.
"Humans of Earth!" she shouted in a voice that could cut through ambient noise easily. "I trust you have been impressed with our displays tonight! We digimon are honored by your patronage!"
The reaction from many of the digimon of the district was that of confusion. "Who is this woman...?" a Candlemon muttered, perplexed.
"Something about her feels... off..." Lunamon remarked to her brother, who nodded.
"We digimon come in peace... but also are here to give you a message!" Archnemon continued, then pointed directly at Agent Tiger. "A message that your government has been hiding digimon from you... so that they can enact a campaign of genocide upon us! They've sent an agent to destroy us all!"
All at once the crowd around Tiger parted, staring at her. For a moment, Tiger was too shocked to move, but she eventually recovered enough to respond.
"That is a lie!" she shouted back. At once she had to make a decision. Should she deny everything? Or take control of the situation? She then raised her digivice. "Jiro, Realize..." she muttered, then at once, a Dracomon-X appeared in front of her, looking nervous but determined to protect his partner. "If I wanted to commit genocide on all digimon, why would I have one as my partner?!"
"She's right! You're lying!" Jiro snarled at the woman on the roof.
"Hmph, a willing pawn for your schemes..." Archnemon scoffed, then seized on her triumph. "Her actions are evident! She has come to capture and destroy every innocent digimon here! Will you let her do that?!"
"We will not!" Buraimon answered, putting one of his hands on the hilt of his sword.
"DATS has hurt us enough!" Soulmon added, flying overhead menacingly.
"You leave digimon alone!" Golemon growled. Here, the crowd was growing nervous by the increasingly hostile atmosphere.
"It's time to teach you a lesson!" Nise Agumon Hakase snapped, brandishing his wand.
It was here that Tiger realized that in her panic she had made a deadly mistake. This was clearly an ambush, a carefully planned one. If she was forced to evolve Jiro here, it would be possibly carnage. However, she kept her cool for the moment.
"So what are you going to do? Kill me and Jiro here? And a few innocent humans in the crossfire?" she asked Archnemon, trying to sound unflustered. "Go ahead. Fire your first shots, give us the justification we need and you won't even know what hit you when we strike back at you terrorists..."
Archnemon was surprised to hear that defiance. She was momentarily speechless.
The atmosphere was very tense now. What would be said in the next few moments would be critical.
