London, United Kingdom. 4:30 AM.
It was rare that time in the Digital World floated well with the time in the Real World. 4:30 in the morning wasn't even the crack of dawn yet in this sleepy British suburb, the dark skies starting to turn a deep blue in anticipation of the morning sun. Nary a soul was awake at this hour - but here, in this god forsaken hour of the morning, a group waited in anticipation of something big.
4:30 AM in London was 1:30 PM in Japan, and in a few short minutes, a number of Digimon would start to appear in the Real World. And the only ones who knew about it were those in this room and a single confided member of DATS by the name of Machine, who would be operating one of these locations.
"The coffee's about ready, sir." The Reppamon gave a nod, as the Renamon leaned against the back of a computer chair. Denryu, sitting in that chair, gave a nod in response, and checked their set-up. Web cams had been installed in all three locations, hidden inside mailboxes and in the thick of decorative trees, as well as inside a few local businesses. Additionally, two TVs were set up, letting out sounds of mostly-muted Japanese commercials, as Denryu checked the state of each camera feed.
"Of the 18, sixteen remained connected. One got severed by a weed wacker and the other place had their power shut off for an unpaid bill... whatever, this will work." the General mused, Angel giving a soft 'tch' as she flicked her nose with the back of her glove.
"I know this is the best way to go about this, but... tch. Its just so weird to see you so calm about this, considering you might have fucked over Japan's government."
"Call it a show, then. This might be the most important day of this decade's history..."

At 4:45 the tell-tale hiss of a portal opening could be heard down the hall along with the click of heels as Cassandra, in her human guise, swanned into the room in a floor length shimmering red torch dress, her updo only a little artfully tussled, and her face alight with a positively mischievous grin. It was clear, despite her grace, from the way she swayed a little and hummed that she was coming down from an excellent drunk to still pleasant levels of tipsy. Her off-blue eyes practically lighting up when she spotted Denryu and his team. Striding towards him with a little red clutch in hand she settled herself side-saddle across his lap throwing her arms about the man's neck as she leaned forward and kissed him with abandon. Only pulling back with a slightly goofy smile to sing "I~ Have~ A~ Surprise~ For~ You!" In a musical sing-song voice.
Then grinning fit as a cat that caught the canary she leaned back, popped the clasp of her clutch, and turned it upside down. What spilled out was nearly an entire pharmacy's worth of full drug bottles in a nearly endless clattering stream of plastic and little clicky vials of the ones that were medical grade glass as they rolled across the floor almost covering the room. Looking as though somehow the Doctor had gotten her hands on a medical warehouse with a faulty lock and gone on an all expense paid shopping spree.

... Alright, point two for trying to translate Digital World time into Real World Time. Apparently the time that it was in the Digital World was already pushing 1 AM, and Cassandra looked the part: buzzed and somewhat disheveled, but with a kick in her step like the night had only just begun. Angel stood in the way of the electronics so as the doctor would not stumble into them, looking blankly on as Cassandra sat across the General's lap, and kissed him straight on.
"Um..."
It took Denryu a moment to process this as well: pursed lips met Cassandra's with a brief kiss in return, before he grasped her by the shoulders and pushed her slightly away, wondering just what that big package she was carrying was - ooooh.
It was drugs. Piles and piles of painkillers, cold medicine, and other cures from the Digital World clattered across his floor, rattling against the hardwood before the room fell into silence.
Angel was stunned, eyes fixated on the bottles below, as Denryu merely blinked in Cassandra's direction.
"... The fuck did you do, hun."

At Denryu's question the Doctor's smile if anything seemed to grow wider her suit shorting out slightly from the crackle of emotionally charged static that shimmered over her form causing the disguise to shudder then die. Leaving the feminine Beelzemon in it's place grinning nearly manically with pure predatory glee. "Hmm~?" She hummed out cocking her head to one side as if to ponder what series of events had lead her up to this moment. Playfully drawing out the surprise a moment longer before letting out a soft bell like laugh and god didn't it feel good to laugh again.
"Oh I might have just so happened to have given Gluttony a crash course on security and picked up some goodies as payment for my troubles~" She purred pressing a slightly more demure kiss to Denryu's cheek as she rose from her seat across his lap and stretched her tail snagging one of the glass bottles from the floor as she deftly plucked it up with her fingers and read the label. Letting out a low whistle at the information listed there.
"I didn't have time to sort my haul there, but figured I'd make bank on quantity if not quality, but it seems Lord," And wasn't that title just dripping with playful sarcasm, "Beelzemon could afford the good stuff." Will take me a bit to sort through all this it was a rather eventful night." She explained clearing a little patch for herself on the floor as she dropped cross-legged to a seat to begin her work.
"So I take it your message has to do with your own side project? I have to admit I've been damnably curious about the details." Cas questioned her predatory smile softening to something warmer, loving even.

Yup, this was Cassandra.
A drunk, blissfully successful, and conniving Cassandra. As the Baalmon took form across his person, Denryu gave a sigh, settling himself back in that chair until Cassandra finally collected herself. And, finally, she had time to explain.
"Fuck, you've been messing with the Demon Lords, already? Well, so long as we're all free and clear on this stuff..." Angel glared down, shaking her head at the mess. Denryu, meanwhile, drew his Xros Loader, calling for the Knightmon, Raider and the Kokuwamon, Volt, into his presence.
"You called?" The Knightmon blinked, and Denryu simply pointed down.
"Pretty low priority, but get this cleaned up and set in the stock room in the back. Volt, order them alphabetically - you help as well, Angel."
"What, seriously?!" They both complained in unison, as the Knightmon simply gave a nod, collecting Cassandra's empty case and beginning to compile them back into place. With that sorted, more-or-less, Denryu gave a nod towards the set-up monitors.
"Everything I've set up for the last month's about to unfold. Got the television stations set for the political and local news for each network, and Emma's helped me set up the webcams. In about, say, ten minutes or so, our volunteers, invited by 'Terminus', will come on in to introduce themselves to the crowd." His tone was flat, just as Guru came back into the room, the Reppamon looking at the relative ensuing crowd in here.
"Oh... kay... um, Denryu, the coffee's up. Good morning Ms. Cross, can I interest you in some... I was going to say tea, but coffee might actually do you some good right now."

Leaning her head lightly against Denryu's chair from where she'd taken a seat on the floor Cas let out another low humm at Guru's suggestion. "Thank you, but I think tea will be fine Guru. Some of us do still have tastebuds," She joked before turning her gaze towards the monitors her eyebrows rising at Denryu's commentary.
"I see? So this is what you've been working on? And just who are your volunteers?" She questioned finding she already suspected the answer. After all if they were from Terminus they could only likely be Digimon. Though for what purpose she had to wonder. . .unless. . .
"Denryu you sly bastard have you been messing with DATS?" Cas exclaimed with a laugh, "And here I thought I was ballsy messing with the Demon Lords, but if anyone could screw with DATS it would be you."

"One nice, strong tea coming up, then." Guru returned a nod to Cassandra, and made his way back into the kitchen, where Denryu had just reached around the corner to grab a metal thermos filled with coffee. Taking a sip, he returned a nod to Cassandra.
"No idea, I mean Terminus literally recruited them as 'model citizens of the Digital World'." Denryu clarified that point rather quickly, giving a tap at the sofa across from the television set-up, taking a seat on the right side. And yes.
Yes, Denryu indeed had been messing with DATS. "I got in good with one of their operatives and set up a dummy chat link, letting them know this is going to go down. DATS' response is going to be slowed at least for a few minutes, and..."
As he expected, the party started a bit sooner for at least one of the groups, a Lunamon and a Coronamon openly walking out of an alleyway after disabling their holosuits. Another monitor showed a Gotsumon and a Pumpmon, cleaver and all, as a number of other rookies started to fill the streets to the startled crowd.
"There it is. Check, DATS."

"C-le-ver~" Cas drew out the word rising from her seat to join Denryu on the couch. Leaning contently into his side though a bit more reserved with her affections after her initial overjoyed display as the pair watched the scene before them unfold.
"Well it looks like you've got a decent mix of adorable rookies and lower. That will help given they appear harmless and more like plush's so humans, especially kids and teens, will be more likely to interact with them," The Doctor mused grinning up at Denryu.
"It'll be interesting to see how they cover this up. If they can cover this up. Otherwise it seems the Digital World's cover may very well be blown," She murmured, but despite the chaos and change that would bring Cas seemed oddly at peace with this development.
"I'm sorry I couldn't help you with DATS, but I have to say I'm proud of you for taking the fight to them in the most creative way possible," Cas added her grin turning soft and her words barely above a whisper, but the sentiment plain. She really, truly, was proud of him.

"That, and they're all city Digimon who have at least interacted with Tamers in the past. They aren't foreign to human contact, and a few of them are merchants, so they'll be able to blend in quite naturally. Well - considering, anyway."
Volt, below, gave a chuckle. "Yeah, poor Angel here would never fit in a crowd like that!"
"Don't make me disassemble you again, you little tinker-toy..."
Bemused mumbling below aside, things seemed to be going relatively smoothly. Said Lunamon and Coronamon were starting to gather forth a crowd for a performance of some sort, the Pumpmon and Gottsumon were already interacting with the crowd - and finally, at the third location, a Tentomon and Falcomon showed up! All too 'wild' to be considered anything in disguise, but nothing overtly threatening at a first glance. Already, the web cams were starting to see people on their cell phones recording, and it didn't take long for the news trucks to come shortly after.
"That's alright. You're just as wanted as me after that desert stint, anyway, so its best we don't get involved directly." Denryu brought an arm around the Baalmon's shoulder. "Don't worry. They won't be able to cover this up for too long." He nodded to the front of the room: budget DVD players and VCRs were all running on record, and a DVR was set up to one of the TVs for the recording broadcast.
"Even if I didn't do all of this, don't underestimate the internet of today. DATS can firewall and screen their own systems, but not the entire network of Japan."

"It's a pity the digital connections to the rest of the world aren't as stable. If we'd gotten this global there'd be little chance of covering it up. Still the internet of today~" She trailed off with a fanged grin and a soft laugh, "Well I've no doubts the tighter they clench their fists the more slip through their fingers," Cas added smile never waning as she watched Denryu's work unfold with bright eyes and a certain peace to her that hadn't been seen in a long long time.
"Hmm I might have actually scouted some new talent of my own while I was out and about, but it's a bit too early to tell. Luminas is still reeling from a really very baffling chain of events that seems to have put them on the back foot, no idea what could have caused that," She quipped chuckling softly, "So there's another smaller organization of angels looking into the Demon Lords. They seem competent enough, but admittedly I'd rather seen the Demon Lords stick around just not with too much power. They're good for the balance of things." The Doctor mused eyes alight as she glanced towards her partner in crime.
"I'm glad you got some more experienced digimon. They'll know to be a bit more car~" Cas began only to pause eyes narrowing as new figures appeared on the camera's.
"Denryu did you invite a Terriermon?" She questioned only able to positively identify the first figure, the other obscured still by a statue.

"If the Digital Connections to the rest of the world were more stable, we probably wouldn't have to do this at all. There's no way this could have been kept a secret if this came up in a less technically advanced country." Still, Denryu at least saw Cross' point. As it stood: "But if DATS really wants to continue denying reality, then we'll have to kick this up to the next stage. For that, at least some form of the footage has to survive."
That declaration came almost in tandem with the whistling of a teapot in the background. Angel briefly excused herself, and a minute later, would offer a thermos to the doctor - blinking as she did so. "... Fuck I just filled up one of these out of habit. Didn't even think of a mug." Well, probably a moot point.
With a weakened Luminas, the Demon Lords were an interesting topic, their lesser response probably making the Demon Lords have a bigger footprint than they otherwise would have. "Curious. I wonder if the Knights will crop up sooner rather than later."
Either way, the screens would proceed, and the news networks would finally kick up, showing the Lunamon and Caronamon's performance and even Tentomon's interview with the reporter. All seemed right enough with the world, and as Cassandra asked her question, Denryu gave a shrug: "I don't have a participant list, I didn't invite anyone directly - wait." His reflexive answer cut off - surely the doctor knew that.
"Why do you ask?"
