Had it been a good idea to DNA digivolve as soon as they got to the ruins? Likely not. It wasn't as though Raptordramon had the time to question what either of her components had been thinking when they fused. Simply formulate a plan and go along with it. The lumbering, metallic beast proceeded slowly through the arid ruins, sniffing at whatever corner she came across.
She couldn't trust that she was alone here, after all. There was always something watching in here no matter what time of day. Be it now, the scorching mid-afternoon, or later, that being the evening. That being said? Raptordramon's component cores did come here to see what they could unearth. And this was a set of ruins full of buildings and whatever was left of them alike.
If anyone were to happen upon Raptordramon? They'd find her sifting through a half-collapsed house, gingerly picking up bits of scrap metal and examining them closely. They had to make something, didn't they? "Hmmm...We see..."

As the black-skinned Tyrannomon left to go back towards the inner valley, Ryū felt a bolt of excitement shoot through him. The little orange dinosaur had been given an important job. For the very first time, he was given an important job. A job that came directly from the chief, no less.
He should go. No, he must go.
It's important. For the future of the tribe. For his family.
Without waiting, Ryū trotted onward, further than he’d ever been allowed to go before. He’d be warned to never pass the boundaries that split the ruins into the territory of the Tyrannomon and the Monochromon. Although he’d never actually met a Monochromon, they were the sworn enemy of his tribe and were in a constant war for ownership of the land they lived upon. Ryū, however, was not privy to this information. Simple-minded and slow-witted, they said.
As the little Agumon continued down the winding, well-traveled path which led out of the ruins; was when the oddness began. Ryū stopped quite suddenly, kicking up sand into the air, as he lifted his head up. His nostrils engorging and his mouth fell open with excitement. As a smell unknown and unrecognized filled the air and permeated his senses. At least, it didn’t smell like any Tyrannomon nor Monochromon. Almost, like a dog, he leaned down so his snout was inches away from the lightly-dusted ground. “New friends, maybe they could help me!”
He rushed on, following the smell. Past piles of marbled rock, once carved into large statues and pillars sticking diagonally from piles of deep, sinking sand, half buried by centuries of neglect without even turning his head. The smell was more important.
Finally, turning a sharp corner. He found it. Or rather them.
A large Digimon stood in the next clearing. A slew of ruins surrounded them. Half buried in sand and dirt; crushed and wrecked, broken and destroyed. By age or the civil war, it was unclear. Whatever this unknown Digimon was, it was at least twice the size of Ryū. Metallic wings jutting from the back of a metal abdomen. It was facing away from the little orange dinosaur. Ryū approached with a newfound glee; not considering the fact it could be dangerous and attack him. His head still low and sniffing. “Hello! I’m Ryū! You’re so big.” His eyes wide like dinner plates as he stared up at the great draconic Digimon.

Of course, they were not alone. It would've been a bit smarter if Ryu hadn't so brazenly approached Raptordramon, as his sudden greeting startled the large Champion level creature. Thankfully, however, they were not one to attack right off the bat. They whirled around, looking about the area for whatever spoke before they realized it was down below.
...Such a tiny little Agumon...
"We cannot help it. Together we have no name, but individually we're known as Bujin and Fuu." Raptordramon clarified. "...Please do not startle us like that again. We are not predisposed towards violence, but that could have ended poorly for you. Are you alone, Ryu? Why do you come here?"
It was worth noting that Raptordramon's voice seemed like an amalgamation of two similar, yet distinct feminine voices. One more meek than the other, and the other more brash than the meek. Possibly an indicator as to what the raptor truly was.

Still in awe, Ryū stepped forward, so he could get an even better look at the still-unknown Dragon Digimon as it turned to face him. By appearance alone, the Raptordramon seemed pretty vicious. The metallic helmet it wore; coated in spiked prongs gave it an impression of great ferociousness. Not to mention the fact that a majority of its body was hidden behind a suit of silver armor.
However, none of this scared Ryū in the slightest. He was too busy being in awe of the Digimon to be frightened. If Ryū was ever frightened to begin with. The little orange dinosaur never seemed to show fear. His eyes became even larger still, as he stared upwards at the dragon. “Bujin? Oooh, and Fuu?”
His head tilted a little as he digested this thought. "That would make..."
After a moment of silence, Ryu burst out; “Fuujin?!” A great amount of excitement etched across his little snout. “Fuujin. I am looking for a new home.”
Ryū stated it so simply and nonchalantly, it was almost awkward. Although, the little orange dinosaur had failed to mention the part about the home being for not only himself but also a group of large and frankly violent dinosaur-like Digimon in the midst of a civil war.

This dinosaur appeared to show little to no fear towards the Nameless Warrior, instead showing a measure of awe towards them. It was almost...comforting to see such innocence, really. "Fuujin, you say? A god of the wind? Well...That does describe one part of this."
Raptordramon sounded the faintest bit amused at this. But, let's call her Fuujin from here on out. "A new home, you say? I cannot truthfully call this place a home. It may have been a home at one point, but now it's a mere shell of what it used to be. What do you seek in a new home?"
They were this close to honestly suggesting Rosewood and providing directions--that place could always use more people. But, alas, 'Fuujin' did not know the true magnitude of Ryu's question just yet...

The little Agumon tilted his head slightly, to the left, as if considering his answer. But in retrospect, he was just attempt to decipher the words that the Raptordramon spoke. As he decided to take his words to heart – his little mind boggled at the idea that this Digimon was the “god of the wind”. But only found more awe in the situation. “Ooo! You’re a god. I knew you were cool.”
“I’m looking for a new home for my family. Hmm...” Agumon paused again. “About 200 large dinosaurs. Easy, right?” He said with no trace of sarcasm or worry in this voice. In fact, he was quite sure he could do it. “I gotta find home for my Tyrannomon clan. If you keep walking that way...” Agumon pointed a claw in the opposite direction. “You’ll find a load of Tyrannomon!”
The tiny Agumon made it sound so simple and clear. Even though, anyone who may trespass on their land was liable to a fiery death at the hands of a great number of Dinosaur-like monsters and an even powerful master. But, he didn’t know that part.

"Ah...No. We are no god." 'Fuujin' clarified. "It's simply what the name you gave us means. Fuu means wind. Jin means god, if you write that symbol in a particular way." Of course, Ryu hadn't been entirely incorrect. "We are, however, considered cool. Somewhere. Likely." The bemused expression that lay upon 'Fuujin's visage faded quite promptly as Ryu gave a proper number as to how many people he needed to find a home for.
It wasn't one. Nor ten. But TWO HUNDRED. "...Two hundred Tyrannomon..." They murmured as they let out a low rumble in thought. "....We are uncertain of a land that can house that many Tyrannomon at once outside of here. Are they sapient? How are their temperament?"
Rosewood -could- use that amount of manpower in Tyrannomon. But...how would they acclimate to that city? No way in hell 'Fuujin' was going to allow some fire breathing dinosaurs near Ys, though. That might end disastrously depending on how Ryu answered this.

Unsure what ‘Fuujin’ was talking about, Ryū simply stared. His usual blank confused stare that meant he wasn’t taking anything he was saying. Well, until he began to murmur under his breath.
His confusion was broken as he began to understand. A least a little bit. “Yup, Tyrannomon. They all live that’a way. But there is also a whole lot of uh, Monochromon too. Like two hundred of them too!” He added, nodding twice. “The Monochromon are the meanies though.” He said, with a degree of bias. “They be all like… fighting! With the Tyrannomon for land. So there’s always a lot of big booms!” He threw his little dinosaur arms up as to demonstrate the explosions from their attacks.
“There is a big fight between the two clans! Between MasterTyrannomon and Triceramon!” He added, putting his arms back down. “The Tyrannomon are the more friendly ones!” he nodded twice. “They’ve been my family for-uh-ever! I’m not sure why though…” He had never been told why the Tyrannomon had raised him and til that point; he had never thought to ask.

The more 'Fuujin' learned about the situation, the more tense it sounded. A gaggle of TWO HUNDRED Tyrannomon fighting a war against an equal number of Monochromon. They didn't know why they had taken an Agumon in amongst them, unless an Agumon usually evolved into Tyrannomon. But at this rate? They didn't really care.
Something had to be done about their situation. Their tenuous hold over their home. Raptordramon's form became swiftly enveloped in light as the Champion's size decreased and split in two, two cores being visible before the forms of a Ryudamon and a Dorumon formed over them. The Dorumon appeared to have been the one to initiate what just happened, as she took out her D-Nexus, a device that Ryu would probably find odd, maybe, and began to type out a message to some team members.
The Ryudamon, meanwhile, was less than pleased! "The heck was that for? We could've taken it out while in that form."
"No, the D-Nexus stops existing while we're fused..." The Dorumon murmured.
