OOC: Kisho knows nothing about digimon, at this point, he does not even have his own. All he knows is the urban myths running about due to recent activity. My desire is for other characters similarly uninformed and/or naive. If your character is well acquainted with digimon, has traveled to the digital world, carries around their partner on their backpack or some other form of stealth, etc, I would prefer if they kept away from now. It is my desire to maintain the mystery of what digimon eye to Kisho, and for him and possible acquaintances to treat it all simply as interesting paranormal activity or something to that effect while never quite figuring out what they are dealing with. Thank you for your attention.
The young man slowly dragged his forearm over his sweat covered forehead as he smiled, bringing both hands to his hips as he looked upon his handywork. The Club Room he had acquired was an old one; it had been covered from top to bottom in dust, cobwebs and poorly aged furniture that creaked and groaned at its own weight as it was moved about when he first found it.
It was ideal, he had decided there and then.
Cleaning up the dust and cobwebs hadn't been too easy- he was allergic to dust, and that alone had made for a harrowing struggle as he valiantly attempted to keep his sneezes from spreading his gray matter all over the room while he worked
His stubbornness had in the end, triumphed over genetic failure, and once all the windows had been opened up to allowed a good breeze to breathe some life into the abandoned classroom, he decided that the place was ready. All he needed to do now was sit and wait for other's to arrive.
Walking up to one of the open windows, the young man leaned his frame against the windowsill before taking a seat upon it, lifting his foot up to lean it against the other end of the window frame before gazing out into the schoolyard down below, were other, more sports driven clubs were going through their paces.
A large piece of cardboard had been taped on the door leading into the mostly forgotten about club room, hand painted kanji dominating most of its surface.

Luke was more excited then usual today, and that was saying something.
For a while now he had been looking for something to do other then just staying at home on his days off or when he had no Home Work or studying to do. There was only so much he could do to keep his boredom at bay, no one wanted a bored hyperactive teen on their hands.
Today however he might have found the time killer he had been looking for!, it was a school day and he had just stepped in and was making his way to his class when he saw a waver for a clubs. They all seemed boring to him until he had gotten to the Ps. Needless to say the teen was immediately interested, waiting all day for the end of class was a hard and grueling experience, the teen was practically vibrating in excitement.
Finally the bell rang signaling the end of class, after they had all been dismissed Luke shot up like a rocket and was the first one out of the class. The teen had run back to the board, getting a bit more info of where the club room was located and was out there in two shakes of a lambs tail. It didn't take him long to locate the room, though he kinda did run past it, sliding to a stop he double timed it back. This time he managed to stop at the door.
Forgetting his manners in his excitement the teen barged in "YOOOO IS THIS THE PARANORMAL INVESTIGATION CLUB!" he asked with a grin

Kishou had only just gotten comfortable on his windowsill when the door to his clubroom swung open with a thunderous clang, causing him to leap to his feet with a startled shout chocking on itself in the back of his throat.
"JCK!" Half-screamed, half-chocked the youth, the incompetent mixture of Jesus and Fuck trapped in his throat as he fell on his ass by the window, his, seemingly head snapping to face towards the door shortly after. Despite his eyes seeming like no more than slits, the shock in his face was clear, his jaw slightly ajar at the sight.
A member... so quickly? That...
"Yes! This is the Paranormal investigations club!"
Awesome. He had tried to not think about it much, but the youth had been prepared to wait for hours, days, maybe even weeks before even a single person showed up interested.
Boy, had his expectations been dashed!
The young man snapped to his feet with uncharacteristic enthusiasm, grinning wide as he began to approach the new member. He looked at him up and down, scratching at his chin for a moment before finally snapping his fingers, as if having figured something out.
"Oh, I thought you seemed familiar." He said, nodding to himself as he crossed his arms.
Did he know of his youtube person-
"You are Ruke Takara-san from Class B, right?" He said, severely mispronouncing the L in his name. It was unfortunate, but while Kisho's english was functional, his accent could be charitably described as serviceable. Not that he seemed to notice, carrying on with the same smile as if he had pronounced it perfectly.
"Don't know why it took me this long to remember you, not a lot of folk wear a strawhat at school." He mused, cupping his own chin and nodding to himself as he did. Kisho knew just about every person in their year, having hung out with or at least heard about them in passing at some point.
Then, he blinked. Or well, 'blinked'.
"Oh, right!" He said as he suddenly held out his hand. "My name is Kisho Ueno. A pleasure to make your acquaintance, Takara-san." He said with an easy grin. "Er; If you don't mind me asking- Are you here to join the club?" he paused. "Do you mind if I ask why? Just curious, it's all. You don't need to answer that."

Luke watched silently as the only other person who was in the room became startled with his sudden entrance. Through out that whole ordeal Luke remained poker faced. He started laughing when the other teen landed on his butt near the window. "shishishishi your funny" he stated with a grin. Luke could tell he was gonna like being a part of this club, he couldn't wait to join.
He sobered up however when Kisho approached him, the teen tilted his head as he watched the other observe him. He brightened up when Kisho managed to get his name right, he wasn't bothered that the other had mispronounced his name, it was common for others to mispronounce his name, thats why he usually went by a nick name, or by his last name. Just to give others an easier time. "yup~, thats me!" he chirped with a grin.
Well he wasn't usually recognized at all most of the time, maybe he was just so odd that people just forgot him right away because they couldn't comprehend him very well. He was annoying to most people. Yeah his straw hat really set him apart, he wore his school uniform like the rest of the students, but he never went anywhere with out his hat. In fact it got him in trouble many times because it was not school dress code, but everyone just kinda gave up because he stubbornly refused to leave it at home, not matter how many punishments he received.
Lukes grin widened and with a surprising iron like grip he shook Kishos' hand eagerly "Nice to meet ya Kisho!" he said and in the next moment let his new friends had go. "I wanna join the club because I wanna see a ghost!, ghosts are so cool!, maybe I can fight it!" the teen said with stars in his eyes, he threw a few mock punches and perfect kick to emphasis his point, of course he had stepped back so Kisho didn't get hit, for someone so short and Skinny, he could pack a mean punch.

Kisho smiled, not denying the other's claim. He had been called amusing before... though it never seemed to happen when he was actually trying to be funny. It felt more like people were laughing at him more than with him more often than not, but he didn't particularly mind in this instance. He had earned himself the mockery.
"Yeah yeah, laugh it up." He said, smile unmoving even as he eye... rolled? It was hard to tell. "I expect to cash in a few laughs myself once we get down to work." His smile turned to a smirk as he finished. Given the name of the club, it went without saying that any and all club activities would be testing the nerves of he and his members. He was looking forward to it; though clearly, nowhere near as much as his newest member.
"Oof. Quite the grip there..." Grunted the young man in surprise as the other's iron grip clamped around his hand before giving it a vigorous shaking, Kisho swearing he heard something pop out of place before he let go. Just his overly dramatic imagination, he realized thankfully while rotating his arm moments later, while Luke made short work of the air daring to occupy his general vicinity.
"Fight a ghost, huh?" He wondered about that. Ghosts weren't something you could hurt, usually; but then again, some of the rumours and urban myths running around that had prompted him to create the club suggested it was quite possible these ghosts were not quite the untouchable sheet kind. Still...
"I ain't sure that's such a good idea. You ever seen 'the Ring' trilogy?" He said jestingly, before slowly moving to rest his butt back on the windowsill, leaning back against it. "Ah well; I won't stop you if you want to deck a ghost. Just happy to get myth hunting." He admitted. "Though... it'll probably be a bit hard, with only the two of us." He admitted, sighing.
"Oh well!" He intoned nearly immediately after, shrugging off his own misgivings. "Nothing to do about that!" He said, before reaching for his school bag and producing an old looking writing pad from it. It showed signs of age and wear- though it didn't look like it would be falling apart anytime soon, hopefully. "This here is my Urban myth repository.~"

Luke had no idea what Kisho meant by cashing in a few laughs himself during Lukes time in the Club but he didn't worry about it. Luke never worried much about anything, he had the attention span of a goldfish, so he really didn't notice they "eye roll".
Seems like Luke didn't know how to control his own strength, the teen chuckled, the grin never leaving his face, though he noticeably calmed just a little "Oops, sorry" he said apologizing for his rough handshake earlier. When Kisho mentioned his earlier reason of wanting to join the club he once again became excited. wow this kid was a literal roller coaster of emotion. "Yup!, wonder if my fist'll go right through them, guess theres only one way to find out huh!" he chirped.
Luke went stock still at the mention of the Rings Trilogy, his face immediately became a blank mask "........." there was silence for a while(something Kisho should enjoy while it lasted). Finally the teen tilted his head "but if she came out of the TV cant you push her back in" he answered as if pushing a vengeful spirit back from whence they came was an easy daily problem that could be solved with a little shove.
Lucky for Kisho he was doing a great job of keeping Lukes attention on him, the teen grinned, yeah they could do it!, even if it was just the two of them!. Lukes attention snapped down at the note pad in Kishos' hands after the other teen had taken it out "Sugo!" Luke shouted, even with its worn out look, the notepad still held valuable information and stuff, thats what made it cool.

Kisho continued to experimentally roll his shoulder to make sure nothing had been popped out of place as the excitable young man in front of him went on about punching ghosts. Kisho was more familiar with the japanese folktales kind of ghosts than western perceptions- but even in japanese tales, ghosts were usually pretty untouchable.
"I really don't think you should try punching it." He said, some mild worry in his tone as he cupped his own chin, arms crossed over his chest. "Perhaps if we had some kind of talisman or shinto beads...?"
... Wait, he didn't actually believe in ghosts. He was getting carried away here. Between this and the straw hat's apparent blunt approach to dealing with Sadako, the youth couldn't help the snorts that tore at his throat, his attempts at containing his mirth going rather poorly.
"Snrkk.... nrrk... Well then!" He said, shoulders still quaking with contained amusement, grin on his cheeks wide. "Lucky thing they didn't have you there- the movie would have been much shorter otherwise."
When he finally pulled out his book, Luke's reaction was by this point predictably excitable, to an almost endearing degree. Kisho couldn't help feeling a bit embarrassed really- it was just a notebook in which he wrote down every single rumour and urban legend he came across, after all. Still, he couldn't bring himself to break the illusion for the straw hatted youth when he was so clearly excited.
"It's pretty beat up, since I've been carrying it with me for a while now... but yeah. Everything I've been able to find concerning Tokyo's Urban Myth scene is written down here." He said, before crossing his arms once again, brows knitting together. "To be honest, Urban myths have exploded recently. It's part of the reason I made this club- This is not normal. Urban myths usually take years to take form. But recently, they are all over the place."
He said, before leaning close to the other boy.
"A lot of them are... extremely similar in nature, to be honest, but differ greatly on the spirit involved." He said as he held the book towards Luke, letting him grab and look through the pages if he so desired.
It was less history book and more bestiary, somewhat crude drawings that marked Kisho's skill as an artist as firmly subpar found under the names of each urban myth, follow by a possibly unhealthily thorough history, description, and profile of the thing. Scribbles and notes to self in bright red marker ran along the edges of the pages, specially on the more empty profiles, were reminders to research more thoroughly could often be found.
"There's a lot to choose from to start. Though I've had my eye on a few particular ones." The demons of the Shibuya Station were one that had called his attention for a while. Unearthly creatures that many, many people, both online and the few he had been able to find and 'interview', claimed to have seen around and within the area that was the Shibuya Station.

"ohhhhh good idea" Luke said with a thoughtful hum, he needed to remember to pick up some talismans and beads then, he would do anything to be able to punch a ghost at lest once. He perked up when he heard his friend laughing and grinned, he had no idea what he had said that caused Kisho to laugh but that was fine his friend was happy. "Thats what ojiisan said too!" the youth exclaimed when Kisho had said that the movie would have been very short if he was in it.
He turned his attention back to the book that his friend had and listened carefully to what he had to say about the book, he was really looking forward to going to check some of these out honestly. even better when Kisho said that there were all kinds of spirits, Luke liked verity, kept things interesting and on your toes. Luke was immediately interested, with surprising care he took the book and slowly flicked through them, his eyes shined as he took in the information and drawings on the old note book "Sugo, did you draw these yourself?!" the teen asked with stars in his eyes. The teen looked back down at the book and carefully flicked through the pages.
The teen was on the last page when Kisho explained that there were a few he had his eyes on "are we gonna start with those then?" the teen asked with a huge grin on his face, as he held out the book(with care) toward Kisho. He was of course talking about the sights that the other teen had his eye on.

Kisho scratched at the back of his head, looking somewhere between embarrassed and disbelieving at Luke apparently believing his little drawings to be more than crappy scrawls made by a severely unpracticed artist. Maybe he could feel the passion behind them...? Ah, hell if he knew.
"Er, yup. Felt the book would feel a bit boring and empty if all I did was write all over it, so..." He shrugged. He quickly shook his head immediately after, marking the subject as done. "Anyway! Yes, well, no! If you want to go for these, I'm all for it. But if you would rather chase after anything else, I won't say no. It's a club after all, and there's only two of us so far, so... we should both be having fun."
There was plenty that could easily catch the eye, if only due to how well known some of the landmarks were.
The demons of Shibuya Station were interesting, but there were also a myriad of rumours pertaining to all of Shibuya. The living dead of Miyashita Cemetery, the spirits of Shibuki Forest, The whispers at Shibuya General Hospital, The living warehouse... plenty to go through.
"Personally, if I had to pick... I'm very curious about those supposed 'living dead' at the cemetery. That one just sounds like the kind of junk people just say to scare others. Would be quick and easy to just do it first and get it out of the way."
OOC: Feel free to make up possible rumours/urban myths of your own to tackle if you please. I'll be happy to play out any such things.

Luke could see how a book with just writing was boring, ugh he hated the text books his Sensais made him read, they were so boring, not exciting at all. The only other book he actually found excited other then the clubs notebook was the History book, more specifically the pirate era.
The teen blinked up at Kisho with a blank expression, was there really any other place that Luke know that had an urban legend, he really couldn't recall one. He didn't feel like thinking about it more, he didn't want to get a headache that would ruin the fun they were having now. Maybe later on he'll remember for now he decided he rather look at the legends that were listed on his new friends notebook.
Truth be told there was so much in the book, and he couldn't wait to go out hunting for spirits!, he wished he could do everything at the same time. He listened to Kisho as he explained about the dead in the cemetery, immediately when Kisho mentioned "living Dead" the teens pupils grew slightly
uh-oh
"ZOMBIES!?" the teen asked with a wide grin, his excitement was back full force as he jumped up and down where he was standing "yeah! lets go fight some Zombies!!" he chirped as he fist pumped. I guess that means a yes
"Icantwaitarewegoingtherenow?ortomarrowornow!canitbenowIwannapunchazombieinthefaceletsgopuchzombiesintheface" how he was able to say/ask all of this with out taking a breath of air was a mystery, he seemed very excited, he had the same energy as a toddler on a sugar rush.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OOC: alright, I'll keep that in mind XD, maybe I'll have one ready in the future, thank you for letting me know.

"Uh. Yup, zombies. Or well, alleged zombies." He preferred living dead, or undead- sounded more... professional? That didn't seem right, considering the subject matter. All that aside, he doubted there would be anything like real zombies involved. At worst, he expected their so called zombies to have been the rumour mill starter's own shadow. At best, a badly place statue.
Kisho couldn't get much more than that in, word wise, but he supposed he didn't need to. Luke hadn't needed any convincing, his excitement palpable as he spewed a thousand words a minute, the stream of vowels tumbling out of his tongue so swiftly the slanted eyed youth couldn't be completely certain he understood what he was saying.
"Uuuuh... I guess we could go today?" He half asked, half replied, crossing his arms and cupping his chin, holding his pensive pose for a few seconds. Then, he nodded to himself. "Yeah, I suppose we can." He said, spinning on his heel away from Luke before walking up to his school bag, yanking it off the floor before bringing it to whichever wooden desk was nearest to the strawhatted boy.
From it he produced a few items- A relatively old looking Video Camera, a couple of cheap, disposable CODAC Photographic cameras, a recording casette, and other, stereotypical items one wouldn't be blamed for expecting to find in an amateur, home-made mock-umentary production team.
"This should let us record our work." He commented, sliding one of the disposable cameras Luke's way. "It's important to have evidence and proof if we do find something, isn't it?"

Luke was bouncing on his heels, he had stopped his endless production of words when he heard Kisho speak. If it was possible Lukes grin would have gotten wider, but seems that the laws of physics prevented that from happening. Though that didn't stop the teens energetic state, the moment Kisho said that they were going to go inspect the cemetery today.
The teen jumped up and scrambled to get his blog camera out, he looked up from his messenger bag when he heard Kisho speak again. The teen tilted his head when he noticed the old, yet valuable supplies that Kisho had on hand for their clubs expeditions, Luke wondered if his friend minded if he spent a little bit of money to help the club a bit. That was something he had to remember to ask later, but in Lukes case, remember in the most inappropriate times.
Anyways
Luke took the camera from the club leader since he didn't have a camera on hand, but he had his own video camera, it was brand new if its sleek red design was anything to go by. He mostly used it for blogs, but in this situation he decided it was an emergency. "shishishishi right!, or no ones gonna believe us that we beat up some zombies!" the teen chirped with a toothy grin. He made sure to tuck the camera away in his messenger bag along with his video camera for safe keeping. He ran in place eager to go out and to the cemetery "lets go lets go lets go!"

(OOC: I must apologize once again for the massive, month long delay. Work has been tough this month, and will continue to be tough until at least halfway through november. Never the less, I'll attempt to be more active here, if it still interests you.)
The sight of Luke's spanking brand new camera would have made Kisho's eyes snap wide open, if it hadn't gone against his character design. As it was, the young man's jaw slackened. He hadn't expected his first member to come this prepared.
He actually felt embarrassed about the practically antique video camera he had brought along now.
"Oh, um, wow. I was not... Um, yeah, huh. Er... I- so I guess filming must be one of your hobbies?" An assumption perhaps, but one he was all too willing to make- there was no way Luke had paid whatever orbital amounts of money that red, sleek camera had to cost just for the sake of enjoying himself at the club, right? "Um, Well, that's great! This will give us way better video than this old thing." He said, patting the old machine for a moment before swiping all of the items back into his bag.
At least it seemed the disposable cameras were useful to Luke- he had taken one. That was good, Kisho wasn't sure how he would feel if the youth pulled out a professional photographic camera as well- actually, he knew exactly how he would feel. Poor and money-less.
'Maybe I should stop eating out so much...' He thought blandly, his hand idly moving to pat his admittedly flabby stomach for a moment. There used to be a time were that was solid ab... now it mostly soft. His lips thinned slightly. 'No, no... let's not do anything rash. There's gotta be a way for me to save more cash that doesn't involve starving myself.' He resolved.
He glanced back up to Luke-
Only to see him already at the door, running in place eagerly while the words 'let's go' tumbled out of his lips repeatedly.
Kisho pocketed his thoughts on his flab for the moment. Time to roll.
"Yeah, let's."
The cemetery wasn't exactly far from School. It too could be found on the northern section of Shibuya. Still, by the time they had gotten there, Kisho was deeply regretting his recent, somewhat sedentary life style.
"Maybe I should go back to jogging..." He groaned out through pants, bent at the waist with his hands at his knees as they stood at the gates of the cemetery. Hundreds of slabs and tombstones stretched as far as the eye could see within, a singular, beautiful cherry blossom tree stood at the center of the cemetery. The japanese style of tombstone tended to be quite a bit prettier to look at than the stereotypical western variety- or at least, Kisho thought so, what with the beautiful wooden stands were incense was meant to be burnt and such.
The sky was painted orange and violet, the sun already halfway down the horizon, so it could be said that they had gotten there perhaps a bit too early. Spooky stuff only ever happened at night, after all- because that was when people were so on edge they let their imagination dictate what they saw instead of reason, Kisho believed.
"Well, here we are. Shibuya cemetery." he declared when he finally recovered his breath, placing both hands on his hips and craning his head back to get a good look at the ridiculously large tree adorning the place. It must have been there long before the cemetery itself. "Spooky hour is nearly upon us, too." he commented as he swung his back under his arm and over his chest, keeping it in place while he used his free hand to grab his camera.
"Shall we?"

((OOC: there is no need to apologize, take as much time as you need XD, I hope things get better for you though, stressing is bad for your health XCXD, yes I am still interested im having all kinds of Fun in our RP! XD
PS: good thing Kisho didn't say race you downstairs because Luke would have jumped out the window XD))
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was a good thing that on their way to the cemetery, while running Luke had texted his mother his whereabouts and that he was gonna come home late because he had joined a club.
He had put away the phone before making it to the entrance of the cemetery. Unlike Kisho, Luke wasn't tried, heck he wasn't even out of breath, that was a really short distance and due to Luke's physic and well training he hadn't broken a sweat getting to the cemetery.
Luke was at the gate entrance practically vibrating in excitement, most people would think that such a place looked creepy and would avoid it at all costs. To Luke however it seemed pretty, more so because of how this particular one looked, heck it looked even better then the one back home. the sun set only added to the odd beauty of the cemetery in Luke's Opinion. Plus places like this where interesting and who knows what kind of adventure was right around the corner!!!.
The younger teen looked over at Kisho when he said the name of the Cemetery, the teen grinned at his friend when he mentioned that it was almost time. He quickly dug into his messenger bag and took out the disposable camera out, improvising he got out an old leather strap he had taken off from an old backpack and tied it around the camera. Once he was sure it was nice and tight he hung the camera on his neck with the make shift strap.
then he took out his Video camera and turned it on, good it was fully charged, sometimes he forgot to charge the darn thing honestly.
He held up the camera and faced the club leader nodding rapidly yes, the camera being moved around as well "shishishishi yeah!!!" he cheered rather loudly well if the "zombies" weren't awake yet, they were now.....

Kisho couldn't help but envy Luke's energy. Once upon a time, he too had been in shape... a long, long time ago...
'What am I, an old man?' He chastised himself blandly, shaking his head before turning his gaze back at the setting sun. As it sank into the horizon, the sky slowly began to turn from orange and magenta to magenta and dark blue. Reaching into his pocket, the youth pulled out an old pocket watch, flipping it open to gaze upon the hour before flicking it closed just as quickly.
"Didn't bring much more than a couple of flash lights with me, and we'll only be getting a half-moon tonight. If it gets too late, it'll be too dark to film anything worthwhile." he sighed, before reaching back to scratch the back of his head, holding up his beaten up camera on his other hand and grinning. "So we best be quick about it, eh?"
He liked to think he led by example, so he took the first step forward into the cemetery, even if he knew by now the excitable youth behind him probably felt maybe 1% of the fear and trepidation that Kisho was trying to keep tied down at the pit of his guts. He liked to think of himself as a rational human being who didn't believe in nonsense like ghosts or zombies or the paranormal- but damn it, a dark cemetery was spooky no matter what you believed in.
He walked ahead, one camera on one hand, a flashlight in the other, neither really turned on for the moment. He was saving the flash light's battery for when it got real dark, and he could turn on the camera with a flick of the thumb, so no point in wasting battery life now.
An hour would come and go without nothing much happening. At one point Kisho, screamed at something moving on his rear vision, only for it to be his own shadow cast upon a nearby slab. Pretty embarrassing.
But other than that silliness, nothing truly spooky occurred during their hour long search. After a while, Kisho sighed, waving at Luke to bring the other teen to a stop.
"We've been at this for a while, huh?" He stated the obvious, scratching at the back of his head. "Nothing yet, tho. What do you think? Should we- w- we... keep..." Kisho's words seemed to stumble upon one another as young man trailed off, his eyes set on something seemingly over Luke's shoulder, widening ever so slowly.
If Luke bothered to look over his shoulder, he would realize that right behind him, stood the massive cherry tree at the center of the cemetery. But most importantly- something stood in front of it. Someone, more like.
A shadowy figure with their backs turned to them, standing directly in front of the tree.
... Where had they come from?
