Thank the Lord for No Fall Damage!

Desmond and Demi were sitting on a broken tree a bit further away from the Village of Beginnings. The blond tamer was quietly looking at his cellphone shuffling his list of music. His partner was using his finger to draw in the patch of grass while giggling. He would burn a tiny bundle of the green grass into a badly done circle with a smile on it. He would then do the same on the patch next to it and draw a tall stickman with two circles on the head. "Look! Look!" He then shouted as he turned around with a smile on his face. "Desmond! Look!" The Frenchman removed his headphone letting them rest on his shoulders. "It's me!" Demi began pointing at the circle. Desmond just nodded. "It does look like you." He said before looking at the other drawing. "And this is you!"

The human laughed. "Very well done, Demi." The Digimon threw his arms into the air and began spinning on himself. "Yeah!" And then, another sound was heard. It sounded like a very loud scream but neither of them moved at first. They both looked at the direction for a second before looking at each other. "Did you hear that?" Demi would ask with curiosity. "Yes, I did, Demi." And then another sound was heard. This one was quieter and also very familiar. Desmond used his left hand to get his Digivice and there was a small blue dot on the little screen pointing at the direction the scream came from. Or at least, it was around that way.

"Should we go look?" The DemiMeramon asked while pointing at the village. Desmond took a moment to think before nodding. "Yeah, we should." The human looked at how far they were and decided that it might be faster if he would carry his partner around. Poor Demi can only float that fast. "Want me to carry you?" Demi nodded rapidly with his smile. "Yes!" His kid like enthusiasm was always welcomed on his book. "Alright, come here." The fireball floated toward his tamer and waited for him to pick him up. "Hang on, Demi."

And with that, the Frenchman began jogging toward the Village. It didn't take very long and when he got there, there was a small gathering of small Digimon. They were maybe five or six of them around what seemed to be an inflatable block. Being much tall, Desmond didn't have to get very close to see what was going on. He was about to open his mouth but Demi was faster. "Look! Look!" Demi shouted while moving his finger around. "I think I see a Digimon!" However, the human wasn't sure that it was indeed a Digimon. He saw some Digimon that looks like humans but not quite like that. "Yes! Yes! A curious one that screams very loud!" Said one of the Digimon that was surrounding the block.

Desmond put the DemiMeramon on the ground and got closer to the bright block. He easily managed to look at what it was. It looked like a tiny girl. He stayed there, silent and still for a moment, maybe a bit too long making it awkward. He blinked once and then twice. "Uh..." He wasn't sure what he could say in this situation. "Are you alright?" He asked slowly before looking up. "Did you climb up and are now stuck?" He had to ask that question. "Do you need me to put you on the ground?"
