"They're too small, if they're the levels that the Hi version suggested they couldn't fit into the doors. I doubt they'll also fire into these rooms too so... Safe zone perhaps?"
Chalice gave a shrug and looked to one of the computers that the Datamons were synced to. She quirked her head as Syre continued. Slipping past all the guards would be difficult... And then following suit well. She gave some quite on the spot advice.
"Will do. Let me know if you all find anything that could be potentially useful."
Chalice took a seat in one of the few chairs that weren't taken by the Datamon's and simply pulled out her movement scanner. She'd stare at it quietly while the others split up to check the other rooms... She looked somewhat bored in mind but her eyes were making note of the movements of the mons in the other rooms. She looked somewhat puzzled as the group left her to her own devices!
In the right room...
Dio and syre would find that the room was quite possibly one of the more twisted rooms in the entire building thus far. Row after row of X-rays, collections of various experiment papers plastered on see through walls. There were many portions of this room that were lit up as though to make sure that every surface could be seen in some manner or another.
The rows closer to the center held much more surgical importance. Which made sense considering what was in the well lit center.
A single bed of sorts, with many mechanical arms off to either side. On it was an empty grouping of restraints. The faint smell of blood, tears and sweat could easily be discerned. The moment of course that the group got too close to the center there was a soft whirring that started up and many different blocks raised out near the center. Each of them holding tools or various items that would likely be used in some kind of procedure.
One single panel rose up behind the surgery table, showing what was next on the agenda. A fair amount of core based surgery, hyper grafting some kind of mental agenda on a familiar number.
Orion's next plan was obvious.
Brainwash Vivian further to make her a perfect fighter to carry out this intricate plan.
A plan that because of the actions of terminus wouldn't go ahead anymore. The scientist had fled the location after all! There was a few long awkward pauses between each of the blocks raising before the next one sank back into the floor when they realized that they weren't getting used. The last one staying up just in case.
A voice, very reminiscent of Chalice's spoke up through the speakers out of the floor. It was curt, courteous and very straightforward. An AI of sorts perhaps? Or some pre recorded mumbo-jumbo?
"Good morning Doctor. You're ahead of schedule for the procedure. Experiment 926 is still in processing for Two hours and thirty minutes."
The next thing that occured was similarly distressing. A small holgram popped out next to the restraining chair. It was a mastemon, not childlike like Chalice or fully sized. It was easily the size of a fairy. It'd blink owlishly and then note the group in front of her.
"...You're not the Doctor."
In the left room...
Well it wasn't as exciting as the right room most certainly. But it was something that was important none the less. Row after row of greenhouse like set ups. Complete with soil, growing food and a few automatic tenders that didn't even bother paying attention to the entry group past their initial greetings.
"Good morning Sir."
The lead one would chirp at Carlos and then give a little nod to Gio. Apparently they were supposed to recognize various mons or even humans but... They didn't seem to really care. Why was Chalice's scanner not picking them up?
"Are you here to inspect the crops for Dr. Orion? Our last inspection was well over three hundred days ago and we're sorely in need of some new equipment! We're far behind the standard!"
The pair would easily see that there were quite a few of the caretakers off to one side. Powered down and some of them even missing entire limbs. One of them for heavans sake was just a torso and head! The lead andromon leaned slightly to clip a disgusting looking leaf off of a particular plant before turning it's head back to the pair.
"I can help you locate anything in this room if you need it Sir; but please if you're here just to observe avoid the painted yellow lines and red sections. The latter is simply... dangerous."

"On it, Carlos." Syre would give a nod to her uncle, and move along next to Dio, blinking as he wore that bravado. Truthfully, Syre wasn't in the best of states either - especially after seeing so many iterations of 'her sister' strewn up across the lab.
"I know. But let's go into this next room, 'not scared', together." She teased - but even as Dio was floundering, she was glad to have his support. Support that she would need in the next room, as it would turn out. The moment that door opened, Syre found herself immediately raising her glove up to her face, blocking out as much of that pungent scent as she could.
It was immediately clear what this room was for: making more monstrosities. The surgical table, the X-rays, the absolutely macabre papers of various modifications - it more-or-less proved what the intent of this entire facility was. "Ugh... we should get Carlos to take a bunch of pictures in this room, and of the papers. We might be able to put away a lot of people for a very long time, if..."
Syre was interrupted, however, as someone spoke up out of the floor, addressing the pair as a doctor. Immediately, the hologram appeared - another Mastemon appearing in front of their midst. And, unfortunately, it seemed able to detect them.
Syre blinked.
"Assistants Lilac and Dark. We're... working with a Chalice on an inspection of the facility. Please ignore us and go about your own business."
And please, please tell me you didn't hear that bit about putting other scientists in prison.

If they somehow needed even more damning evidence to put everyone working in this facility behind bars, Dio found out the hard way the next room had more than enough of that. Bloodstains, x-rays, surgical instruments of many kinds, research papers with disturbingly in depth info. And the stench...it was almost maddenning, Dio rising his bandana to cover up his nose in an attempt to block out the smell. The faster they could leave the room the better. Which unfortunately wouldn't be soon as he hoped for, since a voice from the floor interrupted Syre and soon appeared in the form of a hologram. And the hologram didn't seem to "recognize" them as the rest of the facility had.
Truth be told, the imp would have probably either ran out of there or tried to get rid of the hologram somehow had this happened while he was alone...luckily Syre was far quicker on the draw, taking a slightly riskier but reliable approach, trying to pass the both of them as just another couple of employees under Orion.
Dio meanwhile kept quiet and did his best to look as cold and impassive as possible, trying to play along with Syre's ruse. All while inwardly hoping that Carlos and his brother wouldn't find such a situation in the other room.
A greenhouse was honestly the last thing Carlos expected to find behind the door, but at least it wasn't as grim looking as the rest of the lab so far...dismantled and powered down andromons off to the side notwithstanding. Could this be where all the food for the subjects came from or was this for something else entirely?
However, they both stopped as the duo was soon adressed by the leading andromon that was tending the crops. Carlos bit his lip for a moment, but didn't lose his cool, doing his best to follow along what the Andromon probably expected to hear.
"...yeah. We're here on for a quick inspection. Standard procedure, as you know." Carlos said, sounding more confident with each word. Might as well try to get some info while trying to not blow his cover, though.
"There's no need to locate anything of the sort, just a quick summary of what crops you're growing here and their status will suffice." The last part was really just a last second addition in an attempt to make their "inspection" seem more legitimate, though it didn't initially seem as if they had to be particularly crafty to fool the Andromon.
"Dangerous how?" Gio asked with curiosity, scratching his chin as his eyes scanned the room looking for the aforementioned red lines. What could possibly be so dangerous for the andromon to mention it in the firt place?

Thankfully the projected chalice didn't even seem to register the whole picture taking scheme or the mention of putting people away. In fact it seemed mostly bored with the idea of an inspection... Right up until Syre mentioned that they were here with a chalice of all things! The hologram perked up and stepped forward a few times, leaning to inspect the two of them. They weren't lying about that but they weren't being completely truthful.
Just the sort of people orion would hire, people that could fool hologram detection kits. The projected mon tsked a bit and folded her arms looking somewhat peeved.
"Unfortunately it is my business if you're in one of my rooms. But the fact a chalice is here with you means that Orion is finally taking my requests seriously! I can't help him with everything and the automated system for grafting surgeries is terrible. Sure he did everything by hand with 926 but that was the only one!"
Another small huff and the mastemon hologram took a seat on the only remaining block that hadn't sunk into the floor.
"I hope your inspection doesn't mean you have to pass through the next six blocks. That's a restricted area for anyone but Orion. Even I don't have clearance for the guards there. And if you do I'd recommend just keeping your head down while they move through. Last time I projected in those rooms they tried to shoot me! A hologram of all things!"
The artificial intelligence looked somewhat insulted and fell flat on the block grumbling a bit. She didn't seem pleased with it at all.
"I do find it strange that he'd have an inspection on the last day of operation. Did he find a buyer or... is this just to cover his ass for when he does?"
"..On the last day of operation? Dr. Orion must have a good reason for that."
The andromon blinked a bit and rubbed at it's head, seeming somewhat bothered with the fact. They did have a quota to fill after all! The andromon shifted and then tilted it's head.
"Yes yes. The crops here are for the nutritional supplements for the guards, hyper focused into the core groups that they'd need. The more powerful the guard, the more nutrition and other attention they'd need."
The andromon turned it's head to the Guilimon, looking them over. Frowning and then giving a shrug.
"Each section has a barrier. Each barrier section in the yellow contains an acidic nature that is dangerous to certain.. levels. No one here, The mastemon in the other room, the Impmon or the Blackgatomon would be affected by it. However in the red area the pheromones and acidic complex of the plants could kill one of you in roughly five to ten minutes of exposure.... that's for a digimon though. For humans uh... Well I don't think you'd survive in the yellow for more than a minute to be honest. Your lungs don't filter a lot of the pheromones and they tend to sink. I think they call that... suffocation or drowning or something. I don't know. I'm not a doctor. Just a florist of sorts."
It seemed as though this andromon was a bit of a chatterbox. Though it didn't stop working the whole way through. Making sure to carefully step around the planters and avoid bumping into anything in the plants. One eye was trained on what it was working on while the other kept an eye on the group.

Honestly, Syre hadn't lied yet - she simply spoke on the edges of the truth. Though to learn that this was actually another Chalice was a bit disheartening to the cat.
Was she stolen? Or was Chalice simply playing on both ends of the coin? Either way, she knew she was on very thin ice, and the tense Impmon near her probably needed her to lead. And she was playing it off the cuff as it was!
"... Well, unfortunately, I don't think Orion is taking things that seriously. What we're here to do is ensure that this place can be shut down quietly. Systems purge, controlled detonations, whatever it takes so it can't be traced back to him. Only when its about to wrap up does he try to cover his own ass..."
Shoot, was that okay to say? She was starting to make assumptions about Orion's personality! Biting her lip, she directed herself back on course. "So yes, we're just covering his ass. Just be certain your operations are ready for emergency extraction. Dark, let's get going."
Syre brought a hand up to the Impmon's shoulder, and proceeded to simply walk out the way they came in. The longer Syre was forced to talk, the more likely their cover would be blown.

While the impmon did his best to stay quiet and keep his expresionless facade up, he found it hard to do while trying to mentally process all the new information he had just learned from the holographic Mastemon, one of the more prominent things being that this was another Chalice. Nothing entirely surprising, as they already knew Orion had made plenty of them, but it was still somewhat concerning to learn, though not nearly as much as how paranoid and or combat ready the guards in the next room were. Could they even sneak under such a thing?
Though they had managed to fool the AI with relative ease for now, it was obvious trying to maintain this lie for too much longer would probably get them all killed, so Dio almost let out a sigh of relief as he heard Syre telling him they were done there. With another silent nod he turned himself around, and followed after the black furred cat.
Crap, this was the last day of the operation? Carlos couldn't help but wonder if that had to do with the Terminus forces moving in or if they just had that much of a lucky timing. At any rate hearing the andromon comment that made the man slightly more nervous, he really didn't want to be found out like this while having the group split.
"If he does I wasn't told why, and I wasn't about to ask. I'm just following orders." He shrugged, nonchalantly, hoping that would be enough to keep the Andromon from pressing for more answers. After which the man simply kept quiet as he took note of everything the robotic digimon told him: what the crops were for and how stepping on any of the colored lines would end up...rather poorly for a human like him. He blinked once, before taking a step back away from the nearest yellow line.
"...duly noted. You seem to be keeping this place running quite well so I think I can skip the closer inspection on the grounds that...well, dying would make my job a lot harder." He said, forcing a rather nervous chuckle. Having done that? He figured that was probably all he could get from the room, there wasn't really more time for them to spare, so he started making his way to the room's exit.
"Keep up the good work, I'm sure Orion will be more than pleased by the results." He said reassuringly, giving a thumbs up while Gio silently followed the man, all the while gaving the florist a small wave with his clawed hand, smiling.

Even if the Artificial intelligence could tell normally when people were lying these folks didn't seem the dishonest sort. So she had a medium of willingness to set aside any nervousness or uncertainty in what she presumed to be Lilac. The fact that orion wasn't taking things that serious just made the projected intelligence sigh softly.
"Well, the more important systems are already purged so you don't need to worry too much there. Orion doesn't want most people to know where his next lab is going to be or something along those lines even among his work force. Tch. Well I'll be on standby mode down in his office then, just pick me up when you're done yeah?"
The AI shrugged a bit and as the others left she'd rub at her face with a all too real sigh before shutting herself off. It seemed that the AI was willing to at least work with the group considering what they needed to do...
"That's true he never really was privy to sharing information like that."
The andromon frowned a bit and watched the human carefully, there wasn't a huge margin for error here at least when it came to his crops. The andromon shifted a bit and stepped through the yellow barrier to start tending to the plants there. He didn't seem terribly uncomfortable even as some sizzling of the plant matter on his hands were melting off of him.
"A wise decision. I would do the same if I had fleshy bits still. Pft. Orion? Pleased? The only thing that would make that happen is if his wife actually came back to him."
The andromon gave a small wave in return to the Guilimon before turning back to his crops. There wasn't much for him to do when it came to outside interventions. It was probably a good thing that the group didn't try to take their plants!
Back in the middle room
Chalice was sitting there quietly; a notepad held in front of her via wing tip and her scanner in another. She was keeping track of where they were going and writing down notes about movement, signal strength and what not. She'd frown lightly however when the groups entered in at roughly the same time.
"I'll take it that the side rooms were equally uneventful?"
The mastemon floated out of her chair and tilted her head, she had about three rotations to go off of and this fourth one was looking to be the same as the others. The two stronger signals in the back; she'd cross her legs while she was floating seeming somewhat irritated by something.
"I've been able to figure out which signals are which. The two nearest signals are ultimate tier, and judging by the thudding that i can hear from the other room time to time a little... ditzy. The furthest two are the mega tiers, from what I can tell they have some kind of communication that sets them on the same movement as the other two. So that they don't overlap. It's a smart system. They don't move up and down but they do move side to side. So they just walk back and forth basically."
The mastemon would hold up her notes, in them was thankfully quite a few insights about the movements. There were six rooms and at any given time there were three occupied rooms. There was even a little drawn out diagram of the movements...
Movement Diagram: 1: Empty Room | Megas | Empty Room Ultimate| Empty room |Ultimate Left room | Us | Right room 2: Mega | Empty Room | Mega Empty Room | Ultimates | Empty Room Left Room | Us | Right room

Not a single unnecessary word.
That was what was running through Syre's head at the moment. Even as the AI gave up additional information and gave the cat an instruction, all the BlackGatomon responded with was a single raised hand and a half nod, simply leading 'Dark' right out of the room. With that Chalice logging off, Syre would let that door close behind her with a click, and take a few steps towards Chalice.
Before she finally gave a deep, relieved breath, falling on her hands and knees. 'Equally uneventful'? "Yeah right. We barely managed to squeak through that one..."
Even if there hadn't been a fight, this was clearly starting to take a toll on the BlackGatomon, mentally. Chalice had been given time to analyze the pattern of the next two rooms - simply put, the closer row rotated 'out then in', and the furthest row rotated 'in then out'. "Hm... is the thudding coming from a particular room? That might indicate its more crowded than the rest..."
Aside from that, though, Syre would take a spare page of the Mastemon's notes, and draw her own diagram. She started rather simply, not even seeing the challenge to the puzzle: it could just be solved by going left, up, up, right, and only ever having to sneak by one guard. In fact, she was about to voice that - before her eyes widened in realization.
"... Damn, that doesn't work." She shook her head, pointing to the rooms to their immediate right and left on the paper. "There's no way we could go to the room on the right again - Dio and I would immediately be found out. And Carlos, I'm just going to guess its the same on the left?" The cat bit her lip, tapping at the paper.
Based off of everything Chalice had said?
"... We have to go up, up, up." Syre pointed at the middle row. "We can go the moment that the guards in the first row vacate the center room - and try and go into the next room the moment they get back, and try and slip right on through all at once. Even if we get spotted by the ultimates, a Wargrowlmon would be able to keep it open long enough against the automatic locks - and we might be able to just leave the Ultimates behind and rush past the empty center room."
Syre bit the edge of her nail.
"... But if we mess up, we'll have to fight two self-destructing Digimon simultaneously." And it was very possible all of them wouldn't make it out of it.

"I wouldn't call ours uneventful per se, but there's really anything worth for is in that room either." Carlos shook his head at Chalice's comment once they all reunited again. He let a relieved sigh seeing neither Dio nor Syre were any worse for wear, if somewhat tense. If they had to bluff their way just like the man had, he couldn't really blame them. Besides the stress of this whole operation was probably starting to really weight on them.
At any rate, the Mastemon then laid out their current situation, and what was between them and their final destination. Vivian, and before her, two megas and two ultimates. The ones that could self destruct if things went poorly. Really, it was almost a miracle there was a small window for the group to get through their patrol, even if it was incredibly tight, even with Syre's idea for trying to cross it.
"Well..." Gio chimed in, scratching his head as he looked at the cat just after she said going on the right room was out of the question. "...the Andromon on the left didn't seem that bad...maybe we could ask him if there any way from that room into the mext one?" He couldn't help but tilt in head in confusion at the...frankly dumbfounded way both Dio and Carlos were looking at him. Had Gio actually...came up with a feasible solution?
Granted, it was still somewhat risky to go back in there and they had no way of knowing if the guilmon was onto something or just grasping at straws...but if nothing else it was probably worth considering at least? Unless the rooms weren't conected on the first place that is, in which case...they had no choice but to try to sneak by. Again.
"Is there any other vent that we could use like on the previous room, Chalice?"

"Well at least you got through it then."
The mastemon frowned a little bit and noted that the blackgatomon seemed a little out of sorts. This was probably hard to deal with and the only reason that chalice wasn't adversely affected was because she already knew what sort of nonsense she was getting into. The mastemon closed her eyes, let out a sigh and with a small hand reached out to place it on the blackgatomon's shoulder.
"It's all right. We're almost there and we can solve this. Just steel yourself. Those meicoo's will be okay once we're done here."
The scientist wasn't good at this sort of shit, if anything it seemed a bit out of place. But the digimon's demeanor shifted back to her normal professionalism once syre pushed forward her question.
"Middle one, it might be because they're trying to avoid hitting each other. I don't really know."
Then of course came the problem solving part that chalice was grateful for the others to be here for. They couldn't go left, they couldn't go right. They would be found out and perhaps have a rather negative impact on things.
"Up up up works. if not a touch dangerous. But once we're past everything well... it'll be also the quickest. We've got about two hours and some change left over, I was expecting us to be a lot closer to the deadline."
Chalice paused however when the blackgatomon pointed out that they'd have to fight two self destructing digimon at the same time. Chalice grit her teeth and then looked somewhat unsure for a few moments. One of her wings would shift and a small portion of it would snap off, turning into a pair of USB's. She'd offer one to Carlos and the other to syre.
"Correction. I'll fight them and you'll just keep moving. The doors aren't indestructible. Enough force and you can blast your way through. They can't follow you into the next area, they're too big. If we're lucky, the main lab or Orion's pad will have a shut down command, I'll stall them out and you can put out a signal. Use these USB's on either Orion's pad, or in the main lab and it should do what is needed."
Chalice turned her head and slowly shook her head as the human asked about the vents. She'd hold up her scanner, shift it to the previous mode that would show the room type. There was a moment and then there was a dizzying array of vents, lines and those tubes from above passing straight above them.
"Too small for even fresh or In training to get through. I think this level had a different architect than above. As for the andromon, let us avoid any more unnecessary interactions unless they're largely beneficial. We don't know what sort of reaction he'd have to me; one of the few remaining Chalice's."

Feeling Chalice's hand rest on her shoulder, Syre gave a nod - a long, low breath out as she tried to relax. "Thank you. Sorry, I just... lost my tension for a moment."
One more deep breath, and Syre's eyes would focus once more, ready to analyze the situation at hand. Unfortunately, there really wasn't a good answer other than 'up, up, up'. Gio's suggestion had its own risk, and the vent was hardly large enough to properly use. Syre would give a nod as that USB would be passed off to her, tucking it away in her glove as she considered the situation. With all of the information given to her, how could she maximize their odds of success?
"Forward motion is the important part... we'll go as far as we can in the first room. If there's cover, we'll take it and try and slip out of the first room while its occupied. Even if we're sighted, we can jam the door open and slip into the next level with little issue. That said," Syre looked towards Dio and Dio.
"... We need to keep ourselves small. Rookie. Be ready to improvise."
With that, the BlackGatomon would step up to the door, biting her lip - waiting for Chalice's signal to know when the 'clear' period would just be starting.

Truth be told Carlos couldn't blame his niece for being so clearly stressed and mentally exhausted after everything they had seen. If anything, he could only symphatize with her. While luckily Chalice's words seemed to be enough to help her back up some, he'd add some encouragement of his own. She was already half of the brains of this operation, she needed all the supporting she could get.
"Hey, chin up sobrinita." He'd say hiding his own doubts behind a warm smile as he softly pet the blackgatomon's head. "We're almost at the finish line." The twins remained quiet, but nodded in agreement as they smiled at Syre, silently reminding her that they were still there and still supporting her to the end.
That said, it seemed they unfortunatelly really had no other option than to go "up" and hope they wouldn't get caught, since the vent plan was a no go. And if things went south it seemed Chalice was all too willing to serve as a distraction for the group, even going as far as to entrust both Carlos and Syre with two USB drives they would have to use once they reached the main lab.
"If it comes to that just be careful, aight Chalice?"
Well, she had flaunted about her power before the mission properly started, so there was a good chance the mastemon would be able to hold her own against the guards if needed be...though Carlos would have been a lot more calm knowing she would be there supporting them all the way until the end of the mission.
The twins simply nodded again, this time in agreement with Syre's instructions, after which they would stand along side the cat next to the door, Carlos hanging slightly back from them but still relatively close. All of them waiting patiently for Chalice to give the signal and make them move...

"Truth be told, if I didn't already know what was vaguely in store I'd probably be in the same boat."
The mastemon sighed and centered herself, flicking her wings in anticipation of the next movements that they'd have to perform. The mastemon gritted her teeth however when the blips seemed to stop for a moment on her scanner. She'd tap the device and let out a small sigh as it was just the machine being a little finicky.
"That sounds like a good idea, I can also fly up high to avoid their detection as I don't really make sounds while I fly."
The mastemon stretched and her body shifted down to that of her 'rookie' state. The small mastemon grumbled and had to float a little bit higher off the ground so that her labcoat wouldn't drag. She'd take a moment and stare at the scanner, holding her hand up...
"Everything that I am is a fabrication of another's life. I never had before this shown a lick of concern for myself or my fate. For my entire life I have served a false life for someone else. I doubt that's going to change."
The mastemon's hand came down swiftly the moment that the signals did as Syre desired. The group would quickly find themselves in another storage location. This time rather than the massive metal crates it was box after box after box of different equipment, supplies and odd contraptions that made no sense. A few of the boxes were labeled digivices, other's were totems... and one of them was labeled eggs but was largely empty save for two. It seemed as though orion had been busy!
The group only had a few minutes of time in this room! The exit to the next room was across the way and there were several large steel racks or platforms in the way. There was an ample amount of locations to hide and as chalice had predicted judging from the way that some of the metal storage racks were dented in... were the cases of the meicrackmon's bumping into them!
"Move quickly, find a hiding spot. Two minutes before their rotation brings them back this way!"
The mastemon flapped her wings and with a practiced grace she'd shoot upwards. She was very quick to getting near the exit itself and took a moment to hide herself among the boxes there...

"Heh..."
To Carlos' encouragement, Syre managed a smile, taking a brief look over her shoulder towards the tamer. "'Gracias'." She wasn't alone. She had Carlos, Dio, and Gio to support her - as well as, apparently, a powerful-as-all-get-out Mastemon. With the USB drive hidden away, all that was left to do was slip into the next room... and here, their ability to think on the fly would become crucial.
The doors opened, and Syre quickly scanned the area. Boxes. Carts. Lights. Syre's mind blocked out the contents and the labels, simply considering the objective scope of this room to figure out the best place to hide, somewhere that would be out of sight from both the left and the right. Seeing that some of the boxes were dented, the cat got an idea, a black ring quickly appearing at the end of her tail. She made her way to the other side of the room.
And moved two of the metal crates together, to roughly create a corner - its point roughly towards the center of the room, and its opening towards the back wall, just a few feet away from the door. She tried to make it look as inconspicuous as possible, and when it was done, she'd gesture for the other three to join her there.
And now wait...

While Syre's response was short and concise, but it was more than enough to instill the man with confidence and...perhaps a bit of pride. After it was all over he really had to take her niece out for a milkshake or something. She deserved it after putting up with this madness. Carlos only managed to give a small smile in response to her before Chalice got the doors open, sending the trio scrambling for cover, the man pressing his back against one of the tall metal containers, both partners following closely behind.
Honestly both Carlos and Dio were a bit surprised to see Gio being so...quiet. Really, it was a miracle he was taking this as seriously as he was, knowing the blackguilmon Carlos was half expecting him to be rather loud and unstealthy. Clearly the rookie was more than capable of being sneaky if the situation called for it.
Soon and without a moment of hesitation the three of them made a beeline for where Syre was hiding, staying as low and close to the ground as possible while they followed the cat's signal, and crouched behind the two boxes. How lucky that she had managed to find (or rather make) a place for the entire group to hide behind...but now came the hard part: the wait...
