Sure enough, Rai got the concept down pretty quick with the scanner... the way to the Trailmon Terminal opened up. Of course though, that paled to his reaction to her revealing her nature being inhuman... Guess he didn't know bout holosuits, huh? She couldn't help but smile, giggling slightly. "Pfft, nah. Like I said, its a long story and isn't by any means the norm... Though honestly, these days I feel like I don't even now what being normal is like." she responded, opting to try and just shelve the question. Explaining it further would just be confusing she felt. "I mean there ARE ways to become a Digimon... but those ways are temporary at best and rare. Nothing you really need to worry bout though. Trust me." she reassured him, heading downward.
The path led to a dimly lit underground subway tunnel... but that didn't make sense considering it should have been intersecting other lines. Haru just was used to the nature of the Digital World and Digimon being not congruent to how human world physics worked. No one else was around... not even any Trailmon actually. Not a big deal really as she more was just wanting to have a quiet place they could talk. She didn't really have intentions to go to the Digital World again any time soon anyway. "Alright, here we go! This is the Trailmon Station... Just in case you didn't know it existed. Its basically a way to jump from the human world and Digital World." she turned around, introducing Rai to the concept before taking a seat by one of the empty benches. "Anyway... lets get down to the point. What kinda questions do you have? What do ya know about Digimon I suppose first off? Its easier for us to go off of that, then I can help ya fill in the rest of the picture."

He merely nodded to her explanation. That was a relief he supposed. One look around and Rai knew this, subway tunnel shouldn't exist here. There was no room for it to be here. "Trailmon. So even the trains are digimon?" he more mused than asked. "What do I know about digimon. I know mine came in a weird e-mail and apparently hatched from a bitmap picture of an egg, before somehow exiting my computer and appearing on my head. I know my digimon can go in and out of computers like its nothing and eats alot of data-- no normal food, just data. Alot of data. I've got two new e-mail addresses devoted to collecting as much spam mail as possible just to feed him every morning. I'm smart enough to assume it would be bad thing if people saw him, so I keep him in my backpack when we aren't in my room."
Rai let Y2K out of the bag and the bright eyed monster hand began scurrying around everywhere like a big blue, one eyed spider. "I know from him that I'm his partner and tamer. Though I'm not really sure what those words really mean here." he watched Tsumemon scuttle around like a small hyperactive dog, probably excited to have some space to do so. "He came with this digivice too. I know he says he smells digimon alot, but I never positively identified one before you. And I'm not even sure he has a nose." he paused to ponder that for a moment. "I don't know anything about a 'Digital World' but I assume its some sort of super high tech 'VR Dimension' made by aliens or something, that digimon come from."
Rai kicked his legs. "Oh also marking his first week, after he ate breakfast he glowed and spun around on some magic light-disc and said; 'Tsumemon Digivolve to!' and there was a bright flash of light accompanied by the name 'Keramon', and he'd transformed into a gangly kinda creepy looking guy that stood about three, maybe three and a half foot tall? Said he was Keramon now, but I told him to turn back because I couldn't cram him into my backpack like that. So he did. It was much less dramatic going backwards. Aaaand thats about it." He rattled it all off like it was all boring somehow. Or maybe life was boring. Was this kid alright?
Tsumemon chimed in. "I digivolved from Kuramon to Tsumemon before that but he missed it because he was a-snooz!" spoke the In-training digimon in a cute and childish voice. "All I know is I'mma Digimon, Rai is my Tamer-Partner and I get to eat lots of spam mail! And I'm Y2K! But Tsumemon is good!" Actually identifying as the mythical bug from almost 20 years ago? Or was that just his name? Maybe for a Tsumemon that wasn't wierd?

Rai was sharp… honestly, that was a good thing since it’d make all in all explaining everything a breeze. "Bullseye. Trust me, Trailmon are not even the weirdest thing ever." she reassured him.
Seemed like little Y2K was a bit of a hassle for Rai… Yeah, she could understand quite well what it was like to have a rambunctious partner.
I resent that statement.
Haru smiled, ignoring Tawna’s mild internal butting into her thoughts as she turned back to Rai. She fortunately was not unused to the Keramon line, even willing to commend that it was a smart idea for him to have some spam mail accounts to feed Y2K. Certainly beat having rats and birds stuffed in your underwear drawer while you sleep... "Hmm… well, I suppose that's normal. Tsumemon and Keramon kinda have this reputation of being gluttons for data… I mean all Digimon can eat data, but they pretty much only do. Its kinda like a caterpillar gorging on leaves to prep to become a butterfly… except the butterfly might have ingrained tendencies to want to cause the apocalypse." she casually spoke in a “as a matter of fact” way, though was quick to add on to the statement. "Long story short, lotta folks don't have a high opinion of Keramon's evolutions and evolutionary relatives, even when we aren't actually doing anything bad." she ended up adding on… slightly hinting at the nature of she and Tawna's true forms.
"Anyway, Digimon is short for Digital Monster. No one quite knows where Digimon or the Digital World came from… there's a lot of creationist mythologies amidst Digital World society that tries to explain what they believe happened, but the only true consensus I feel is that our world is linked to it in a way that neither could last long without the other." she ended up briefly giving a quick 101 on just what this was all like, briefly digging into her bag and pulling out a D-Arc… though its screen was busted and had no life to it. A mere memento of her prior life. "No one knows why, but some humans get… I don't know. Picked by the Digital World. The catch-all term is Digidestined since not every Digidestined is a tamer actually… which is simply a person who has one or two Digimon as partners. It's a symbiotic relationship though since you both get something out of it… little Y2K will help protect you and be your friend, and you can help Y2K grow stronger by allowing them to evolve… Digivolve technically."
God you sound like a goddamn teacher, meatbag.
Hate to say it, but devil cat is right.
Well I didn’t ask for either of you guys’ opinions here, okay?
Haru seemed to go quiet, the look on her face growing somewhat stern… perhaps somewhat eerie considering her prior plucky attitude… This tended to happen subconsciously when the three conscious-es in her were debating, though it only took a few seconds before she shook herself out of her daze.

Rai listened to all of this intently. "Well. Thats all very informative." he said simply and flatly, bridging his fingers as he watched Tsumemon go. His face was graced with a small smile, that faded quickly as he turned his thoughts to something she'd said. "Can we backtrack to the part about ingrained tendencies to want to cause the apocalypse? Is Y2K going to change into some genocidal destroyer if he 'digivolves' enough?" his usual expression (or lack there of) altered with eyes subtly more narrowed than usual. A tell perhaps. "I dont think... I want that." YOU DON'T THINK?! "I think Y2K is important to me."
"Doctor says I have an emotional detachment and asocial behavior disorder... it started by deciding to practice strict emotional control after my emotions got the better of me in 1st grade and I seriously hurt someone... I was angry, but I didn't want to be angry again after that." he went listlessly. "I've been living with my emotions purposefully suppressed and disabled for eight years instead of developing normally." why was he even talking about this?
"Anyway the point is, that I think theres a crack in my shell with his marks on it. Thats supposed to be good. I think." he paused for a long moment. "But I'm concerned if I get too attached and something happens to him, then my fortress comes crumbling down. And I'll do it again. I'll seriously hurt someone. Maybe even kill them. Thats why I decided to abandon emotions in the first place. I didn't think I could be trusted to have them."
Tsumemon stopped to stare at him and that faint smile came and left again. "I can't think of having to treat him as... the bad guy. Its like my brain wants to refuse to even picture it. But how can it be okay if thats what he turns into? Doesn't that make it my fault if I let him develop?" he seemed to drone, still devoid of inflection.

Okay, maybe she underestimated perhaps Rai's calm and somewhat chill attitude... He seemed to be the type to her that mostly could take most info, but even the mention of the potential nature of a Diaboromon left uncheck seemed to crack as his monotone demeanor. Instantly, Haru grew quiet as she soon took the role of listening to his own plight.
Each of the maine coones piloting Haru in a way had a chord struck. Haru could relate to her past as a former bully, which ended up being the catalyst for her own person lifestyle change even before she met Tawna.
Tawna herself had for a long while rejected emotions... at least before Haru. Emotions could hurt you in so many ways, and in ways the nature of being able to care for someone could make it worse.
Even the coldhearted Hunter almost felt sympathetic to the human. In a way, there was a certain strength to his character for his desire to suppress himself. Certainly better self-control than she ever had, that was for sure.
By the time it was over, Haru gave a gentle nod before raising a hand... placing it over the blue hand-like Digimon's head(?) and petting them. "... No one is simply born bad, even if some people think otherwise. Virus Digimon have a bad reputation because they were in ways designed to be bad... they're the computer viruses of Digimon. They're naturally more adept at destroying things than creating them, but that doesn't mean they can't change for the better." she softly spoke before soon gazing at Rai. "... Its okay to want to care about someone. I think if you really try to help Y2K, everything will turn out okay... cause he'll try his best to help you. Thats what being a tamer is all about... its about trusting your friends."
If there was one thing that acted as a guide to Haru's heart, it was her all-loving belief in others. You couldn't ever judge books by their covers. "Let me ask... do you think I seem like a good person? ... Would it change your mind if I said my true forms are actually Virus Digimon? Cause if so, than why couldn't Y2K be good?"

He blinked and looked at her. "Do you seem like a good person? You don't seem like a bad one. You've been helpful and pretty nice so far. I followed you into a mysterious, impossibly placed train terminal for information. Curious or not, that'd be kinda stupid if you struck me as untrustworthy. For that matter why would I tell you about all that?" Rai still wasn't sure of that one himself, but went and picked up Tsumemon.
"Not really. I'd be surprised if you weren't a virus, because when Tsumemon smelled you this morning he'd said that he smelled a virus. But he also wasn't sure if it was a bad digimon. So I decided if it was in my bakery it was my job to investigate and... I dunno, handle it somehow." Technically it was his parent's bakery, but he grew up in it and lives on top of it. Its part of his home.
He looked down at the cute ridiculous creature, and that faint smile came back again. "Its not that I thought he was bad... The way you said 'ingrained tendencies to want to cause the apocalypse' implied to me that at some higher level he'd suddenly change and become driven by some powerful awakened natural desire or instinct to literally end the world. Which would be bad. I don't want him to change like that. Or turn out like that... it didn't sound like something I was supposed to be able to stop." he rested his hand on Tsumemon's head--top... whatever.
"And you didn't need to tell me he's a virus. First thing he did after being born was eat my homework... along with everything else that was on my computer short of my operating system. And he was delivered by a suspicious email on top of that." He looked back to her, his smile fading. "How come you don't look like a monster or anything weird? I get you used to be human. This is what you looked like right? But you're a digimon now... did that not change your appearance at all?" he quizzed blandly.

Haru couldn't help but sweat slightly... he did have a very good point it was shady to just go and trust someone like this, but hey... it paid out in the end, right? "I guess, but I suppose when you're left with no leads but a talking, computer-eating hand... what other options do you have?" she mused, though smiled lightly. "Well its a good thing that he did notice I suppose... otherwise I guess neither of us would have thought any differently of the other. Trust me when I say that its better to learn from others than try to figure this stuff out on your own. I don't really do any adventuring anymore, but I still feel its my duty to help new tamers out."
While she was trying her best to rest Rai's worries, he did have some legitimate concerns... It was clear to her he had good intentions, and the fact that he was worried about little Y2K here? Well, it warmed her heart. "Its nothing that he can't overcome. For example, one of my best friends? He's a Demon Lord-type Digimon. By all definition, he should be made literally of pure evil... yet he's both a doctor and a loving dad of three!" she ended up claiming, trying to offer more reasons why realistically he shouldn't actually worry about this. "What I'm trying to say is... just because his species might be inclined towards something destructive doesn't mean he WILL. Viruses can be good Digimon, as can Vaccine Digimon be bad. Its down to the individual in the end."
Well, more questions... She supposed it was sensible to be confused why she didn't look as weird as a Tsumemon or Keramon like this and claim she was a Digimon. Fortunately, it was an easy explanation at least. "Well... this is my holosuit actually. I use it to keep the facade that... well, I'm still a good ole homo sapien? Its based off my original look actually. God, Tawna and I had to spend like three days just to get this thing right." she briefly touched over as she stood up and took a step back. "Let me just showcase it, alright? Be easier that way I think... Plus there's someone I want ya to meet too!"
The girl's form shimmered as she let the disguise drop... her human-like shape falling apart into loose data that was absorbed back into her translucent body... before it splitting entirely into two shapes that were very different. The first was a small orange maine coone-like creature that separated itself from the real deal with its adorable cartoonish proportions and a pair of blue oculars... each with pupils that took on the shape of crosses. The second one resembled the first, albeit easily three times larger... standing at least a head above Rai actually. Compared to the more mascot-esque shape of the smaller Digimon, this one had a more humanoid figure... feminine in shape with their hourglass-esque shape.
The smaller of the two cats let out a playful mew, twirling around as the two tendril by her shoulders flapped about like scarves. "Nyaa ~ Howdy! Its me, Haru! This over here is Tawna! She was my partner, but she now moonlights as my other half!"
The Meicrackmon was far more subdued, merely squinting at Rai with a monotone look as she gave a soft nod and bowed slightly. "... Pleasure to meet. Forgive Haru if she comes across as a bit... overbearing. Its just how she is." Tawna apologized, her own body language being reclusive and... a tad shy actually. Still, it was a relief to finally be out in the open again... she rarely defused from Haru these days actually.

Holosuit? His little smile faded as he turned his attention away from Y2K, settling back into an expression of total bland indifference. So she used some kind of hologram to appear human? That made as much sense as anything. Who did she want him to meet exactly?
As streams of data and lines of code began flying around, he began to get the idea it was more like a shape-shifting device. Removing a cloak wouldn't be this-- the only indication of his surprise was the slight widening of his eyes on an otherwise vague and unreadable expression as she literally split into two other people... both of which reminded him of Maine Coons somehow.
Tsumemon immediately ran up to Haru with an adorable. "Hello!" before bouncing up and down between the two cat digimon, easily rising to face level with Meicrackmon for brief moments, and excitedly repeating himself "Hello! Hello! Helloo!" as he did so.
"I would have assumed it was the other way... around..." pointing at the humanoid cat and the small quadruped. But then he was used to Haru as a person, so associating her with the more human-esque form wouldn't have been strange if they hadn't informed him otherwise. "No... offense." he drolled. He kept a keen eye on the friendly-leaping-monster-hand's position at all times. "Nice to meet you both... I guess. I wouldn't call Haru overbearing... per say. Atleast not with my limited interaction. She's been very helpful in-fact." he droned on. "Though, splitting in two surprised me. Say... how can I get one of those... holo-suits? I've tried putting him on a thumbdrive, but he just comes right back out if theres nothing to eat on it. So something like a pokeball or something... like on TV... that would be helpful too..." he blinked and lifted his bag. "I can't really keep carrying him to school and everywhere else in my backpack...Y2K isn't that great at staying inconspicuous, even if I put him in my pack. I'm worried he'll be discovered and some suits will take him away from me." he admitted in his standard monotone.

Some girls might have been somewhat creeped out by the presence of the spider-like, one-eyed hand before her... but Haru was someone accustomed to the strange. You seriously couldn't be a member of the Digital Field Club without having experienced some strange, and unusual event at least once in your life. The Meicoomon could not help but giggle at the In-Training's hyper personality, though Tawna herself just rolled her eyes slightly... even if the grumpy humanoid cat couldn't help but smirk slightly.
"Haru's still trying to get used to her forms since she was reborn semi-recently... a couple months actually? Its easier for her to hold onto her Meicoomon form, a Champion level; I would be Ultimate level." Tawna ended up explaining, figuring that they perhaps did look odd together with their differing forms. Then again, this WAS a newbie; so she'd give him the benefit of the doubt. "To be more specific; us Digimon follow a set of evolutionary stages, getting progressively stronger with each one. Your partner here is in their In-Training form, while Keramon would be Rookie. Rookie is directly below Champion level, while Ultimate is directly above Champion level."
A good summary of the importance of Digimon levels and how it applied to him and Y2K, but Haru felt this only really mattered if they actively ventured out into the Digital World. Human world was pretty safe all things considered. "Don't worry about it too much. You and Y2K will be able to hit those higher stages in no time! Partner Digimon tend to grow faster compared actually." she spoke... readying to shift subjects to the more immediate problem in store for them. "Hmm... Well, a holosuit WOULD work... but if Y2K is being too jumpy, you might be able to get an upgrade to your Digivice to store him inside it. Uhhh, you should be able to get either of those at Terminus City... you'd just gotta find a good time I suppose when you'd wanna go there. Time flows in the Digital World slower than here, so you'd really only need maybe an hour or two."
Tawna while longed to revist the Digital World again, she was also understanding that Haru was... well, a bit homesick. It was good for the former human to want to get away from all that... what with the whole "dying" thing. "Its honestly been a while since either of us were there... Digital World might seem cozy, but its dangerous; kid. Just know that even if many Digimon don't wanna fight, some will see your little pal there as a snack... so stay on your toes if you ever go out of a city." she ended up advising Rai. Better to be informed than get into danger without a clue on the risks at hand.

"I see... size is not always the best judge then... I would have assumed the Meicoomon form was also a rookie, based on the similarity in size to Keramon." he said before continuing to listen. "Terminus City huh? In the digital world. So I'd have to take a Trailmon from here... and it would take me there?"
He nabbed Tsumemon protectively, who wriggled out of his arms, climbed his shoulder and latched onto the top of his head. "Anyone who wants to eat little Y2K is going to have to eat me first. And I'm the kinda food you think looks good until you take a bite and find glass and used needles in it." he was no stranger to bizarre, sneaky, underhanded or plain dirty moves to settle confrontations... with humans. He could also flip a human the size of Meicrackmon over his shoulder, along with a number of other throws with Judo.
But he got the feeling that would never work on Tawna. Infact he wasn't sure his usual methods could handle a digimon who'd be willing to cause trouble. In that case he wondered if he could outrun it? Looking at Tawna told him 'no way in hell'. "If Trailmon is going to drop me off in the middle of virtual nowhere for me to find my way to the city, I'm not sure its worth it. I'm not dumb enough to think I can fight off a digimon, even with tricks. Besides what kind of currency do they use? I don't suppose 500 yen coins carry much weight in the Digital world." he looked up as if to Tsumemon. "Don't eat my brain." he told him dryly. Y2K made a playfully joking "NumNumNum!" sound. Which got a mild smirk out of Rai.

"I mean size IS a good tell for how strong a Digimon is, but its definitely not everything. Most Champion levels are generally human-sized to... I'd say elephant-sized? But then you got some cat Digimon who look like they'd be Rookies, but are actually Champ. Really, just check your Digivice's scanner if you're ever not sure." Haru giggled, amused by Rai's reaction to her form's dimunitive size... Who said danger didn't come in small packages? In regards to Terminus City travel and back, the Meicoomon was quick to reassure Rai. "Don't worry too hard about it. The Trailmons can take you almost to any major city in the Digital World and back pretty easily!"
There was something heartwarming to see Rai so... defensive about Y2K's safety. It reminded herself and her own bond with Tawna back then... something that Haru could audibly hear the Hunter groan in disgust in the back of her head. No self-respecting Digimon will try human again after a bite. You folks just taste all boney...
Yeeeeah... Haru's face grew a bit quiet. Hearing your former killer comment about your taste was... unsettling.
Tawna merely chuckled at Rai's shift in tone, admiring how the reclusive human still seemed to be protective of that little munckhin Digimon. Was that just something inherent about humans? Nah... maybe just Digidestined. Nonetheless, it was admirable."I like your gusto... but leave the fighting to the Digimon, kay? Even Rookies could seriously hurt a human... and Champions could turn you into a stain. Just focus on helping your pal grow and don't pick fights bigger than you can chew." the Meicrackmon mused as she chuckled lightly. "And don't worry bout money really. Bits is what the Digital World mainly uses, and your Digivice probably already has some loaded onto it. Could also do oddjobs probably to get more... theres always someone who needs something done."
Haru herself was unable to keep herself from gushing over just how adorable Y2K was... snickering cutely as she purred slightly. "I think you'll be just fine! I say as long as you keep his appetite in check while on Earth, you'll be golden!" she spoke, hopping onto the bench. "If you got any other questions, me and Tawna will be happy to answer them! We're part of a research group that explores the Digital World and its mysteries, so we know just about everything you would need to know! We're practically experts at this sorta thing! Nyaaa ~"
The Hunter groaned in Haru's head, muttering a few profanities to herself. Please, literally stop talking like that...

"Well that's all good to hear." he droned on with a flat look. "I'm actually really... glad..." he paused as if that was an interesting footnote for himself to remember--he was glad about something. "...that there's someone... or two someones... who can and are willing to help and explain these things... to me." he managed to string together in an intermittent droning. He managed a faint smile for them, which was the first instance one could record of him smiling for anyone but Y2K.
"I hope you'll continue to frequent RyuRyu. It will be easier for me than trying to find you if I develop any new questions." he admitted. "Granted we never discussed how to find you if I had more questions... So any of these Trailmon can take me to Terminus City in the digital world...? And if I'm in the digital world, significantly less time will pass on this side. So I shouldn't have to worry about explaining any long absences if I'm careful. Thats good." he seemed to gloss over the question of how to find them and segway right into making sure he had a few things right. He tried to check his watch but it didn't seem to be working correctly. "I should go there now then. Get that upgrade and holosuit... not that I know what would be a good disguise for him... can't be an animal... folk's are already suspecting I'm hiding something and they wouldn't let me keep an animal. Maybe if he turned back into Keramon he could be a kid... Then I'd have to explain my new friend... which is going to be a doozy... because I don't have friends... except... maybe present company..."
As if prompted by Rai mentioning being Keramon again, Y2K crawled down from his head to the floor. Rai's digivice lit up with green text reading 'DIGIVOLUTION', and a bright ring of light,--Two rings and digi-code sandwiched between them that spelled 'Digivolution'-- appeared under Y2K and began spinning him around. First starting to rotate and then spin at blurring speed, like a disc in a reader. "Tsumemon Digivolve TO!" he declared as he became enveloped in an egg shaped shell of digital code. "Keramon!" The egg lasted a mere second before it unraveled and in Tsumemon's place was a three foot and maybe a half tall Keramon bobbing with a too-wide grin, his head seemingly heavier than the rest of his body... which was composed a mass of claw tipped tendrils that were loosely twisted around eachother, and long arms with uncannily large hands. All'n all... a Keramon.
Y2K gleefully called "Tentacle Bind!" before he leaped on Rai, his lower body untangling and rewrapping around Rai's torso, binding his arms to his side, before Keramon's arms followed the example of his tendrils, "Hug!" Keramon declared simply.
Rai sighed and looked at Keramon blankly. "You know... I can't hug back like this..." he explained to the seemingly bobble-headed digimon with his usual flatness. He was not getting on a train like this.

Haru could understand that a lot of this was... well, overwhelming potentially for Rai... but that was why she felt happy that she could help! It was almost her civic duty to help people like Rai... after all, once upon a time she was just like them. "There is never a shame in asking questions… You should also try Tamernet in case you can't get ahold of me. Just connect your Digivice to your PC and it should be good. All types of folks in the know browse on there." she quipped before nodding at his statement regarding visiting the Digital World. "Mmhmm! Just try and do it whenever you have a few hours to burn. Uhhh… rule of thumb is its roughly one to seven time-wise, so a day here is a week there."
Whether he got a holosuit for Y2K was really in his jurisdiction, but he did have a good point that it might have not been the best option. Y2K seemed a bit... more wild than most partners after all. "Honestly, not every mon likes holosuits honestly. I could never get Tawna to wear one back before I got Humpty Dumpty'd."
Tawna stuck her tongue out with a slight look of disgust, shaking her head. "Holosuits make me get clammy. Its like wearing a set of skin that feels too tight."
The smaller feline puffed her cheeks slightly, staring at her technical twin with a look of confusion. "You're fine with it when you're DNA'd with me though."
"Yeah, but I'm not the one controlling your body. Thats on you." the Ultimate level retorted, crossing her arms as she rolled her eyes slightly. Despite being partners and very good friends, Tawna and Haru still butted heads... alot. Then again, partners being different from eachother seemed to be a recurring theme... and Rai was not immune to this as his partner Digivolved to Rookie and began to glomp him. "Heh. Don't try and strangle your pal there, noodle arms." she idly joked, amused by the jester-like jellyfish's actions.
As much as Haru wanted to offer more advice, there was a fine line between being helpful and smothering someone... and Rai seemed to be smothered enough by his partner. Rather, the Meicoomon hopped onto her partner's shoulders and gave a friendly wave. "Well, I think you're all good now! I think we'll need to take our leave though... I have exams actually I've been studying for; have to display some code to my teach actually."

Theres a 'Tamernet'? Well that's awful convenient; he's have to try that out next chance he had... it could be wealth of information, not to mention a decent way to contact Haru and Tawna, as suggested. He also listened to her explain about time in the digital world. So a day here was a week there... that was helpful to know. So a couple hours there shouldn't really be a big issue.
He listened to Haru's remark and their exchange about holosuits. Maybe Y2K wouldn't do well in a holosuit? It didn't sound like the most convenient option. The digivice upgrade sounded a lot more manageable... if he could stay in the digivice. Still he'd be amiss not to get a holosuit and try it out at least. He wasn't sure what 'DNA'd' meant, but he made an educated guess that it was how they fused based on the context he could read.
Y2K flopped his head upside down to look at Tawna. The apparent second pair of eyes that were under his mouth combined with his smile being literally upside down made it look like an equally exaggerated frown of dismay under that second pair of peepers. "Not strangling, Hugs! Kekekekeke!" He flopped his arms down, body still attached to Rai's torso, and tried to hug Tawna aswell. "Double hug!" apparently being wrapped in tendrils still counted as a hug. However Rai backpedaled a few paces. "Don't just assume everyone is okay with being randomly hugged Y2K. Some people have boundaries." While this was true, Rai also didn't feel like being bound so close to Tawna with only Keramon's head in the middle.
Y2K flapped his arms like noodles still trying to reach the now further away Tawna. "But hugs are good! Tawna is a friend now! She seems like she needs a hug!" Y2K spoke in confusion.
Rai sighed and shook his head. "You have to ask people Y2K." he droned. He listened to Haru and nodded understandingly as Keramon gave up and wrapped his arms around Rai again. "I understand. Thank you for everything." he said somewhat awkwardly. "I'll try that Tamernet thing when I get home. Meanwhile... I think its time for Y2K and I to board a train. Or Trailmon rather..." he looked to Y2K and that faint smile came back. "Hug is over now buddy." he droned. "Time to let go. You can hold my hand... or something... But you have to stand and walk." he told his partner.
Keramon reluctantly acquiesced and waved goodbye to Haru and Tawna with a keyboard sized hand before unraveling his lower body to fall with a 'plat' before wrapping his tendrils around themselves and rising up like a zombie or vampire from a movie, using his lowest point of contact with the floor as the fulcrum as his arms stretched forward to lift his body upright. "Ready!" he called out, and started moving towards the nearest Trailmon, heedless of Rai's position.
Rai gave what looked like a half-hearted wave back to the two. It was all he could muster, save for that rare smile he bothered to cast over his shoulder as he proceeded after his Digimon. Next stop, Terminus City.

Tawna was... to say the least not the hugging-type, the feline tensing up and ba cking up away from the somewhat hug-happy Keramon. Her stoic personality melted away slightly as she meekly twiddled her fingers as Rai managed to least keep the Rookie back. "Err... No hugs, please. I'm uhhh... allergic to them." the Meicrackmon meekly spoke, much to her embarassment Haru giggling at her expense.
"Oh c'mon, you know that ain't true!" the Meicoomon giggled before turning her attention back to Rai. "Yo, its seriously no problem! I'm just glad to help!" she squeaked; waving bye to the giddy Y2K as the novice partner Digimon and his tamer soon took off on the next Trailmon as it rolled in.
Fuckin'... took long enough the Hunter growled, a hint of jealousy that they weren't the one to be heading back to the Digital World... This meatsack world bored her with how mundane it was. Seriously, how did Haru live like this? Ughhh... just get your stupid cat back in here and leave. I don't want to be here so close to... freedom... the bodyless conscious dejectedly requested, to which Haru merely sighed.
There wasn't too much point being here much longer now anyway... alone at least. Would there be a day she'd be willing to revisit the Digital side of her life once more? Maybe... but not today. "... Ready when you are, Tawna."[/i][/b] Haru spoke to her partner, to which she was returned a nod.
The two felines' forms fizzled into data that swirled back into a singular mass... configuring back into Haru's holosuit as the girl dusted herself off and picked back up her computer case... ready to return to her normal life once more.
Well, as normal as it gets for her tbese days.
