Glad that Justice agreed to his plan, Colin returned the sentiment with a nod. "Okay, sounds great. Bells, are you alright with going with these guys?"
"Sure am." Bellamy replied, giving the thumbs-up. He was happy to accompany Justice and Gummy to the luggage level. While this meant that Colin would be unable to digivolve him at quick notice, he still had the authority of an AEGIS digimon that would at least carry some weight if they were stopped along the way.
Meanwhile in exchange, Vee would accompany Colin and Luke. They were glad of this. By now they knew a dragon's senses were very useful to have around on their side. And both of them trusted him enough to be the replacement for Bellamy on their team.
Before they parted, Justice asked for their digivice frequency so they could remain in contact. "Ah, right, good idea." Colin said, internally berating himself for forgetting such a thing. If they linked their digivices' frequencies, they'd be able to quickly communicate. Especially given that they were in such close proximity. "Here's my code - 271016. If you need anything from me, punch in those numbers and I'll do what I can."
From there, their groups would separate. Bellamy would accompany Justice and Gummy, while in return, Colin and Luke accepted Vee among their number.
"Alrighty, let's do this." Bellamy stated, moving down to the luggage level to carry out their part. Colin and Luke meanwhile would lead Vee to the Signals level.

Typing in the frequency code and saving it on his D-Watch's contact files, Justice and Gummy would depart with Bellamy while Vee tagged alongside Colin and Luke. It was a bit weird - splitting off into two different teams with different members tagging alone. If it were up to him, he would have split the two teams without switching things up since each of their single Digimon wouldn't be able to digivolve since they'll be far apart. But, with a situation like this, desperate times calls for desperate measures.
Justice and Gummy followed the furred Impmon's lead, moving down to the luggage level. There they found Digimon of all sizes all line up behind a turnstile gate, with almost all of them carrying some form of luggage behind them. Across from it was a claim area where passengers can pick up their luggage after it's been checked by the subway's security a storage locker where people can keep their items and belongings for a said period of time.
So far, everything seemed perfectly normal; Digimon were going about their evening like it was any other day. But unbeknownst to them, something was going to happen - something big, and not in a good way.
Approaching the storage area, is where Justice and Gummy would get to work.
"Gummy," Justice announced, "you think you can see if there's anything suspicious in those lockers?"
"Yup, leave it to me!" Gummy replied. "There isn't anything that can escape this nose!" With that, the Gumdramon started to sniff the lockers, trying to find any suspicious aroma in the air. This action would have probably alerted security to their location, but since Bellamy was one of those AGEIS agents, they were in the clear.
Meanwhile, Vee would follow Colin and Luke upstairs to the Signals level, where citzens waited for their Trailmons to take them to their destination throughout the Digital World.
The Veemon couldn't help but grin at the situation. While sure, it was potentially dangerous with all of these people here, but the feeling of catching those evil-doers and stopping them in their tracks mace in all excited inside. He hope they were some strong opponents that could match him blow for blow, that would make their threat to the station even more legitimate if they can put up a fight. But nevertheless, he calmed his enthusiasm down, and turn to Colin and Luke.
"So what's the plan, Mr. Colin? Do you want us to safely escort everyone out of this level?"

As Bellamy accompanied Justice and Gummy into the luggage level, Gummy quickly gained attention by sniffing into lockers. Eventually, a Biyomon dressed in a navy blue tunic approached, her eyes frowning.
"Excuse me, what are you doing?" she asked. At this, Bellamy turned to her and reached into his scarf, bringing out an ID card.
"AEGIS business, miss, we've got the clearance for this." the Impmon replied.
The Biyomon responded with a look of quiet alarm, before murmuring "Yes, of course, excuse me..." before turning around and walking away.
"Huh. Didn't know we had that much clout here." Bellamy remarked to Justice. "Normally AEGIS is meant to butt out of digital world matters. Normally they put up more of a resistance to us meddlin', unless..." he then looked at the retreating Biyomon. "...somethin' doesn't feel right about her." he narrowed his green eyes.
But by the time he thought this, she was too far ahead to catch up to, especially as a flying digimon. Bellamy felt enough was wrong about this situation that he'd have to take drastic measures. "Okay. Sorry for unloadin' this on you guys so suddenly, but... BADDABOOM!" he flung a fireball at the roof, where a smoke detector quickly set off an alarm through the whole terminal. At once, a recorded message echoed throughout all of the station, encouraging everyone to make an orderly exit to the outside. There was a light shower of water too as the anti-fire sprinklers were set off too, but they wouldn't be much of an impediment for them here.
"Okay. That gets all the innocents out of the way." Bellamy reasoned to Justice and Gummy. "Now that just leaves us and the bad guys. I reckon we should follow that Biyomon wherever she went. You two agree?"
Vee's question to Colin was answered by the sounding of the alarm from below. For a moment, Colin was horrified that they were too late and the attack had happened, but, somehow, due to the lack of explosions and violence, this seemed to be a more orderly evacuation procedure.
"That's what we'll do, Vee." Colin said, assuming the persona of someone in charge and guided all the confused digimon and humans toward the exit on the streets.
"Once we're done here, we'd better make sure the signal box is secured." Luke added. "That's where all the controls for the railroads are located. If a bad guy is in there, they could do some terrible damage in there."
"Alright. Sounds okay to you, Vee?" Colin asked the little Veemon that was accompanying them.

One by one the lockers were thoroughly investigated, with Gummy sniffing each locker. So far he didn't smell anything that he though was suspicious; the majority of the things he sensed were just regular things that travelers would carry with them like clothes, electronics, and any other accessories.
Before the Gumdramon could get to the final two lockers, they were interrupted by a Biyomon in a blue uniform. Thinking that this was a Trailmon Terminal employee, Justice and Gummy could only stare at her briefly alarmed before Bellamy responded swiftly, showing his identification, which in turn made the bird Digimon turn away.
"Thanks for the save," Justice complimented the Impmon. "Would have been real tough to explain if you weren't down here."
Bellamy then went on to explain to that AEGIS's duties were out of the Digital World's affairs and only projected to the human world's. If so, they would be met with heavy resistance and criticism. Seeing as the Biyomon didn't put much objection to what they were doing, Justice could only raised his eyebrow to what he said, and stared at the distant Biyomon
"So you're saying that Biyomon might be in what's going on here?" Gummy interject. "Oooooh the plot thickens..."
Before they could formulate on what to do next, the Impmon suddenly flung a fireball at the roof, causing the fire alarm to go off throughout the whole station. In response, the sprinkler system turned on, making Justice put his hood up so he wouldn't get his hair wet. Everyone around them began to make way for the fire escape exits. Smart move. Now they could distinguish any suspecting Digimon align with the threat much easier.
Bellamy then suggest that they should follow the Biyomon, to which both Justice and Gummy nodded in approval. "Sounds like a plan." Justice replied. "If what you say is true and that Biyomon is affiliated with the threat, then we just hit the jackpot."
"But warn us next time you do something like that, fur-face," Gummy remarked to the Impmon, shaking himself dry, un-amused. "I hate getting wet."
Hearing the fire alarm, Vee would jump up in surprise by the loud noise. Did something happened to Justice and Gummy down at the lower levels? After a couple seconds of nothing , except for everyone evacuating as per the intercom informed, it appeared they were in the clear for now.
Luke then suggested that after everyone's been properly escorted out, they would then check something called a signal box to make sure it was safe from bad guy hands.
The scarf Veemon looked up to Colin. "How about this: Let me check that signal box-doohickey thing to see if it's safe. That way we can take two mon's out with one stone. That's an expression you humans use, right?"

"Eheh, sorry 'bout that. It's a need-to-know situation here, but I'll keep you in the know as best I can from here on!" Bellamy promised Gummy. He didn't enjoy getting wet any more than the Gumdramon, but at least the sudden stream of passengers and innocents rushing out of the station would be sufficient to wrong-foot the enemy to thwart their plans.
With that, the furred Impmon rushed forward through the chaos, hopefully homing in on the nefarious forces responsible for all this. He chased the Biyomon to the end of the underground platform, but halted when he saw what she was retreating to.
"...whoa." he breathed, as he saw her companion here. A digimon that was well out of his league in his current Rookie form. This was a Champion level Strikedramon here.
"Boss, they caught us, what do we do?!" the Biyomon asked, sounding worried. Bellamy did his best to sound confident here.
"Surrendering would probably be best." the Impmon replied.
"Hmm... no, best finish these weaklings." Strikedramon said. "The less witnesses, the better."
At this point, Bellamy was genuinely put on the back foot. "Justice... I know we don't know each other much here, but, my partner trusts you, so I'll work with you as best as I can."
It seemed that this was the standoff - Justice, Gummy and Bellamy against Strikedramon and Biyomon. Bellamy could take on the bird, but not the dragon.
Meanwhile, on the signals floor, Colin and Luke regarded Vee's request. It was a brave one, yes, but they knew here that Vee was the unpartnered Rookie here, while they were the partners - the opposite situation to Bellamy with Justice and Gummy.
While initially Luke wanted to dismiss the idea outright, Colin on the other hand thought of a plan.
"If that's what you insist on, Vee..." he began. "Then that's what we can do. If you can draw out the enemy digimon in the signal box... Luke can handle them."
Luke appeared as though he was about to object to this, but closed his mouth, shook his head, then reconsidered his plan of action.
"Okay, I'll only go along with this if you play it safe, Vee." he said. "Don't leave your head in the game for any longer than it needs to be... you seem like a good digimon, I don't want you hurt over this."

Gummy merely grumbled at Bellamy in response, saying something along the lines of finding a way of getting back at the furred Impmon. Justice on the other hand was indifferent. He saw it as a genius move as a way to find their target easily. With the fire alarm blazing, citizens would immediately think about going outside, thinking there's a fire. But potential terrorist? They won't even think about evacuating. This Impmon was smarter than he looked. The two followed Bellamy, making sure not to bump into any evacuating citizens, until they came to the end of the underground platform, confronting the Biyomon in question, but she wasn't alone. Alongside her was a tall, humanoid dragon Digimon, taller than Justice, sporting bracers all around the main parts of its body and wearing green pants. Justice raised his D-Watch on his wrist. A small hologram came up. "Strikedramon, huh. He's a Champion level Vaccine Digimon."He and Gummy watched as Bellamy tried to convince the Biyomon into surrendering, but was reassured by Strikedramon. Judging by his calm and calculating attitude, it seems he was the leader of this planned attack. "What? No chit-chat or monologue?" Justice playfully taunted. "Just getting right to the point, huh."
Bellamy then expressed that despite just meeting, he'll work together with the two of them, which made Justice smirk in response. "Same to you. But don't think I'm doing this out of the goodness of my heart. I ain't some beltway pansies you call heroes. I'm only doing this to get my ass back home. A life as a college student has its schedule, ya know?"He then turned towards his Digimon. "You ready to bang knuckles Gummy?""Damn right!" the Gumdramon responded, slamming his hammer tail to the ground in excitement. "The big bad lizard brains over there is all mine!" Justice's D-Watch burst into spastic blue light that enveloped Gummy as he was ready to charge at Strikedramon, his claws drawn and teeth gritted into a smile. His eyes started to glowing. "Gumdramon, digivolve to..." The small purple dragon grew, shifted, and morphed into a size two three feet taller than Justice. The data surrounding his body started to break off, revealing a Dragon Digimon wearing rubber Battle Armor along with black leather pants and yellow gloves and feet bracers. His hammer tail transformed into a sharp tail in the shape of an anchor. On his back, his wings grew. Wiping the flame data out with his arm, he stood tall and proud. "Arresterdramon!"
Back at the signals floor, Vee waited patiently for either Colin and Luke to respond to his request. In this situation, he knew he would be outclassed if a Champion-leveled Digimon came, but that didn't matter to him. What matter was stopping this threat from getting out hand, and he was ready to give everything he has to make sure that happened, partnered or not. Ultimately, both Colin and Luke agreed with his idea, making the Veemon nod in response. "Don't worry, Luke. I'll be sure to keep it safe, but that doesn't I won't sit out if a strong Digimon shows up. I'll make sure to catch them off-guard so you sent 'em flying!"With that, the scarf-wearing Veemon jumped down to the tracks and sprinted to the edge of the tunnel. He spotted a box-shaped on a ledge and got near it. This must've been the signal box Colin was talking about. Seeing the lights still blinking, he concluded that nothing hasn't been tampered with. But that didn't mean his job was done. It was time to draw out any enemies. He took put his thumb and index finger together and blew on it, letting out a loud whistle that echoed back and forth in the long, narrow tunnel. "Yoooo hoooo! Big bad Digimon! I am but a lonely, defenseless Veemon with rich, delicious data just ready to be loaded. Come aaaaaand get me!" Combat Log: Gummy Digivoles to Arresterdramon!Combat Passive: Dragon's Armor - Gummy's rubberized battle armor is very durable, giving him a 30% defensive boost against projectiles attacks.

Bellamy grinned back at Justice. The furred Impmon decided he liked this human. Of course not as much as Colin, but, he had that defiant spunk attitude that he himself as a Virus attribute digimon valued.
"Fair enough, we ain't here to be heroes..." Bellamy replied as he took a stance for battle, knowing it was inevitable. "Just problem solvers."
Next, Justice's digivice evolved Gummy to his champion form, Arresterdramon. Bellamy took a step back automatically from how much he had changed. "Whew... glad you're on my side, buddy... you look like you're packin' some major power here." he remarked.
Upon Gummy's evolution, the enemy Strikedramon seemed to lose a lot of his confidence. It was one thing to face two rookies, but a Champion and a Rookie? This complicated matters for him.
"Biyomon, you handle the Impmon, I'll handle the Arresterdramon." he said. And with that, he launched into his attack. "Dual Blaze Wave!" he snarled, igniting himself with fire, then punched forward twice, sending two waves of fire at Gummy at rapid speed.
That left Biyomon to deal with Bellamy. She took to flight, and attempted to attack him with a "Phantom Hurricane!" attack, where she beat her wings so rapidly that the Impmon was blown back slightly by the force of it.
"Try your pathetic 'baddaboom' now, Impmon!" she taunted. "There's no way your fire attacks can hit me with all this wind!"
"I don't only use fire, you stupid bird!" Bellamy retorted, gathering his composure, then cast blue spell circles from his paws. "Freeze Lancer!"
To Biyomon's shock, Bellamy conjured a rapid-fire enfilade of razor pointed icicles straight at her. And unlike weightless fire, these were not easily deflected by wind alone. She cried out as several of them struck her, three in each wing, forcing her to land on the ground in embarrassment.
"You'll pay for that!" she snarled.
"Put it on my tab, toots, I'm just gettin' started!" Bellamy retorted, ready to give more of the same.
Meanwhile, on the signals floor, Vee took the task of being a distraction with gusto. And with the enemy in such a state of panic with the fire alarms going off, he was quickly answered by the appearance of two digimon. One was a Dinohumon, the other, a BlackGatomon.
"...two champions?!" Luke whispered to himself. He took a closer look. "No, just one." he corrected himself, seeing that the BlackGatomon had no tail ring, indicating his strength was Rookie level.
But, the Dinohumon approached Vee menacingly, so Colin chose this moment to raise his digivice and evolve his partner.
"Elecmon digivolve to...!"
Luke transformed from the light of the digivice, growing taller than Colin, over six feet tall. While his overall form as Elecmon was mostly intact, he obtained a spear, changed his battle stance, and readied his champion form for combat.
"...Teslamon!"
When Luke emerged from the light of his evolution, Dinohumon and BlackGatomon halted their charges, taking some steps back.
"Who are you?!" the Dinohumon asked.
"Just some guy with a grudge against evildoers and Dinohumons." Luke replied, readying his spear. "So boy are you in for some pain."
"Heh! We'll see about that!" Dinohumon retorted, and lunged at him with his double swords in his Lizard Dance attack. But Luke was ready.
"Ark Lightning!" he snapped, and the feathers on his shoulders emitted great blue electric sparks that connected with Dinohumon, jolting him so sharply that his arms failed to strike properly as he attempted his attack. He regained his footing moments later though and tried again, this time managing to get through Luke's guard, making the pooka digimon grunt with pain.
BlackGatomon meanwhile took a direct attack against Vee as well, lunging at him with his paw clenched into a fist, ready to use his feline agility against the small dragon.
Strikedramon uses Dual Blaze Wave against Gummy.
Dual Blaze Wave: Strikedramon punches twice rapidly, sending two projectile waves of fire at his target. [1 turn cooldown]
Biyomon uses Phantom Hurricane on Bellamy.
Phantom Hurricane: Biyomon flaps her wings to create a chaotic windstorm at the foe. Rookie level Fire and Wind elemental attacks aimed at her will be knocked off course. [Cooldown: 2 turns]
Bellamy is struck by Phantom Hurricane, then uses Freeze Lancer on Biyomon.
Freeze Lancer - Summons a shower of ice crystals in front of him, then sends them flying at the target.
Colin evolves Luke into his champion form Teslamon.
Dinohumon uses Lizard Dance on Luke.
Lizard Dance - Strikes rapidly with his two smaller swords.
Luke uses Ark Lightning on Dinohumon, but is struck with Lizard Dance.
Ark Lightning - Luke's coils spark with electricity, discharging to the spikes on his shoulders, then he directs the energy with a powerful thunderbolt.
BlackGatomon uses Lightning Paw on Vee.

"Heh, think so? Well watch as I make 'em quiver in fear!" The Aresterdramon replied to the Impmon. It's been a hot minute since the last time he was allowed to let loose, so it felt kind of euphoric for him when he heard that there were bad Digimon that needed a good asswhipping. Turning to Justice, who was sporting a grin on his face, he could tell he felt the same way too. Even humans needed some excitement every now and then too. With the two enemies, the Strikedramon decided that he will fight Gummy and the Biyomon with Bellamy. Pretty even for the most part. Without a second's notice, Strikedramon made the first move, launching two fireballs from his fists at Gummy. A chuckle came from the Arresterdramon, and instead of dodging, he opened his arms, taking the attack head on.He grunted in pain, his armor scuffed and scorched sure, but his eyes contorted to one might imagine to be as if he was smiling with manic, vicious glee. "Flame attack, huh?" He bellowed out as his fist ignited into blue-violet flames. He then broke into a sprint, charging at Strikedramon. "But let me show how they pale in comparison to mine... Mach Flicker!" With that, Gummy unleashed a barrage of fiery consecutive punches at his opponent, each punch aiming to send the Strikedramon reeling. Watching both individual fights, especially his Digimon, Justice decided to retreat to a safe position to where he was caught in the middle of all of this. "Note to self: never let Gummy go one week without at least one fight." He said to himself."
Back at the signals floor, it turns out that Vee's teasing banter played off as two Digimon approached from the shadows: a Dinohumon and a BlackGatomon. Seeing the Dinohumon approching him with a menacing-like stare, Vee's first instinct was to retreat, seeing as how they were both Champion levels and he stood little to no chance against those two. But, he still had to play his part so that Colin and Luke would still have the element of surprise, so he kept up his bravado. "So Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum decided to show up." Vee said teasingly. "What are you eggheads gonna do, put me to sleep with nursery rhymes?" He turned around and slapped his butt a few times, further insulting the two. Right on cue, a familiar light began to shine, and Luke evolved into his Champion form: Teslamon. A grin started to form on Vee's face. "Perfect timing...for a second there I thought I was gonna be Dinohumon's dinner." He remarked. With both Luke and the Dinohumon exchanging blows, the BlackGatomon set their sights on Vee, lunging at him with Lightning Paw. In response, Vee decided to catch their punch, and was surprise that it actually worked. The black feline was a Champion, right? So shouldn't he had been send flying as a result? Catching a look a their tail, he saw that they had no Holy Ring, telling him that they're strength was comparable to his. With that knowledge in mind and seeing that they were in acceptable headbutt range, Vee responded to BlackGatomon's attack with a Vee Headbutt, aiming to send him back a couple of spaces. "Why are you guys doing this?" He asked the feline. "This has to be more than just a simple grudge against humans to pull off something this crazy."

Strikedramon knew he had probably made something of an error with attacking the Arresterdramon with fire, given how he simply stood there and took the hit. That and how the Impmon managed to get a good hit on his partner made him worried that maybe they had bitten off more than they could chew here.
"Dramon Bulwark!" he snarled as Gummy flew in close for a melee attack. As he did so, Strikedramon held his arms in front of his face, and formed a fiery red sphere of energy in front of him, blocking the effect of the attack and protecting himself from damage, but as the attack ended, he was panting from the energy he had expended in defending himself, retreating ten feet backward.
Biyomon meanwhile meant business too. With the ice shards in her wings, she would use a fire technique of her own to deal with them. Flames erupted from under her, covering her body, and with a cry of "Phoenix Dive!" she spun her body and charged down Bellamy. The ice melted and the Impmon was forced to dive down and take cover from the strike, but the heat was too much and he took damage as Biyomon returned to Strikedramon's side.
"So, you're tougher than I thought." Strikedramon said. "And fight well too. But... don't you think you're fighting on the wrong side here?"
"Yeah!" Biyomon chirped up. "The digital world is dying! We need to stop more humans coming here, because if we don't, it'll be destroyed!"
"Oh boy, here we go..." Bellamy retorted, rolling his eyes. "The digital world's turnin' to shit and it's the humans' fault, right? So you bombing the biggest Trailmon station in the world is gonna just make everythin' just peachy, right?"
"In the long run, yes." Strikedramon replied. "When it's harder for humans to get here, there'll be less of them interfering in digimon affairs."
"Hah! That's some class-A bullshit right there!" Bellamy snapped. "If the humans stop coming, it'll just make it easier for some evil prick with no morals to push in and take over our lives here. And trust me, pal, I'm somethin' of an expert on digimon affairs." he finished in a sly tone.
"Oh we know who you are, Bellamy, you lecherous pervert." Biyomon snapped. "I see the human world's corrupted you pretty much to completion."
"Hah, trust me, I'm no more a perv than I was before I met humans!" Bellamy replied. "In fact, I may have dialed it back a bit, you know, given my partner was only 13 years old when I met him, so it'd been pretty inappropriate if..." he then blinked and realized something. "Hey, you're just tryin' to stall us ain't you?!" he then pointed at them angrily. "Tell us where the bomb is, now! Or I swear to Yggdrasil we'll beat it outta ya!"
"Interesting thing to swear to, Impmon." Strikedramon retorted. "I wonder what Yggdrasil would think of his world infested with humans..."
"Oh fuck this, Semper Fire!" Bellamy snarled, clicking his fingers. At once, the air between him and Biyomon exploded with fire. The attack was so fearsome that she could only gasp as the flames overcame her. While not destroyed outright, the attack dealt a heavy blow to her.
Strikedramon glared, staring Gummy down as it seemed the resumption of hostilities was inevitable.
Neither DinoHumon or BlackGatomon got the reference that Vee was referring to, but Colin and Luke did, and they smirked at their ally's audacity.
As Luke and DinoHumon battled, BlackGatomon grunted in pain as Vee responded to his attack with a headbutt, knocking him back several feet. But he got back up with his feline reflexes, wiping his mouth with his paw.
Vee asked why they were doing this. DinoHumon was only happy to reply. "Simple. Humans have caused problems in the digital world for too long." he began. "First it was DATS, then it was VEXUS, then it was the D-Reaper strangely appearing when too many humans started appearing..."
Colin at this point had to take issue with this. "No, you're wrong!" he argued back. "I know that some of us humans haven't been good for the digital world, but I swear the vast majority of us just want to live peacefully alongside digimon..."
"And yet the more of you come, the more problems we face!" BlackGatomon snapped. "Now the Demon Lords are becoming active!"
"That's not our fault!" Colin shot back.
"Either way, once no more humans are able to interfere with our world, we'll be able to sort out our own problems." DinoHumon concluded.
"Sure, like a blown up Terminus City station, like that's going to do anyone any good..." Luke answered, quickly coming to the conclusion that only battle would solve this. "Right then. You want to fight against humanity so much? Bring me your A-Game!" with that, he launched into the air with his powerful legs and aimed his spear down at DinoHumon, the spear sparkling with lightning. DinoHumon grunted as he tried to use his sword to block, but his blade conducted the lightning and filled his body with burning shock. He tried to slash Luke back, aiming a massive cut at his unprotected torso. He landed a light hit, but not enough to cause Luke serious harm. The Teslamon seethed with pain as red and white fur flew, a small gash at his side.
BlackGatomon meanwhile knew that a direct approach against Vee wouldn't likely work, so instead he tried a more indirect approach.
"Cat's Eye Hypnotism!" he cried, his yellow eyes glowing and sent golden waves of energy toward Vee. If the attack hit, it would cause Vee to weaken in both speed and strength.
Strikedramon blocks Gummy's Mach Flicker with his Dramon Bulwark ability.
Dramon Bulwark: Blocks incoming damage from 1 champion level attack. [Cooldown: 2 turns]
Biyomon attacks Bellamy with Phoenix Dive.
Phoenix Dive: On the attack in which this is used, Biyomon is immune to all ice attacks and melts any on her body. She launches a spinning flying tackle at the enemy. [Cooldown: 2 turns].
Bellamy is damaged by Phoenix Dive, then uses Semper Fire on Biyomon.
Semper Fire - Bellamy's "serious" attack. Stands sidelong to his opponent, raises his paw, then clicks his fingers, shooting a powerful fireball at the foe. Roughly 50% more powerful and accurate than a regular Rookie attack. (Cooldown: 1 Post)
Luke attacks DinoHumon with Thunder Lance.
Thunder Lance - Luke leaps high in the air, charging electricity in his coils. He directs the power to the tip of his spear, then brings it down as he lands on the foe.
DinoHumon takes damage from Thunder Lance and counters with a basic attack with his sword, damaging Luke.
BlackGatomon uses Cat's Eye Hypnotism on Vee.
Cat's Eye Hypnotism: BlackGatomon's eyes glow and send a mesmerizing wave of energy at the enemy. If it hits, their Attack and Speed are reduced by 30% for 1 turn. [Cooldown: 2 turns].

Gummy cursed under his breath after his attack was intercepted and blocked by Strikedramon. Hr thought for sure that at least one of his punches would land. He was pretty good. However, he retreated a couple paces back, panting as a result from expending too much energy. A light bulb went off on his head. If he kept up the pace, he could break Strikedramon's defense, allowing him to dish out some major damage. If he had a visible mouth, he'd be smiling right now.
Strikedramon complimented Gummy, then asked if he was truly fighting on the right side. Before he could respond, Bellamy and the Biyomon went at each other's throats. It was so heated that even Justice didn't had the chance to give his two cents on the matter, leaving him and Gummy to turn their attention to all three of them one after another.
Justice broke into a laughter when Biyomon called him a lecherous pervert, making the furred Impmon to get off of topic and tried to explain himself. It seems that even Digimon had a bit of a devious side to them. "Really representing the best of AEGIS, huh buddy?" He commented.
Gummy however, was near the end of his patience with all of this unnecessary banter. "Do I look like the type of 'mon that gives a damn about that stuff?" he growled at Strikedramon, tapping his feet. "'Oh, humans are to blame for all the Digital World's problems'. You're giving me a headache. Time to shut that annoying trap of yours."
Charging at Strikerdramon, the Arresterdramon began to glow a purple-ish hue, preparing for his next attack. "Prism Garret!' Illusions of himself materialized and surrounded the Champion Digimon, each clone, including himself, began running around him, trying to confuse him. If he didn't caught on which one was the real him, Gummy would slash at him with his Tail Anchor, aiming at his blindspot.
Meanwhile, Justice would begin to ponder at both enemy Digimon's reasons for orchestrating this terrorist attack, watching from the sides as both battles continue to rage on.
The DinoHumon answered Vee's question, saying that humans were to blame for all the problems in the Digital World. He agreed with Colin and Luke's objections, nodding his head in response. Sure, humans were imperfect, but so were they.
He looked at the BlackGatomon with a bit of disappointment in his eyes. Despite him proudly stating that humans were nothing but trouble, he didn't believe they meant that; he could feel the conflict within them. He wanted to sway the black feline's opinion on humans as a whole, and the only way he was gonna do it was through words and a little fisticuffs!
As Luke and DinoHumon exchanged blows, Vee anticipated BlackGatomon to do the same. However, the feline sent out a ripple energy from his eyes. Caught off guard by it, Vee became slightly discombobulated, feeling himself becoming slightly weaker. However, he will to do his best was a strong as ever.
"Ughh...Do you really believe in what your higher-ups told you? That all humans are bad?" He asked BlackGatomon not with aggression, but with sincerity. "I think you're confused. From one Digimon to another, I can tell ya that ain't true. Humans aren't all sunshine and rainbows. Believe me, they have their own problems back in their world, including my human partner too. But he doesn't go around blaming others for everything wrong in his life. No. Everyday he makes the effort to be a better person, and I think you can too."
He raised his two index fingers in a gun-light gesture. A ball of energy formed on each fingertip, radiating a bright orange. Aiming at BlackGatomon, he shot two beams of energy towards him that strung out into multiple different beams. "So please reconsider all of this!"

When Justice broke into laughter at Bellamy's explanation and questioned his representation of AEGIS, Bellamy only grinned back. "Oh you think I have things to be sworn to privacy? You should check out the head honcho Lantis..." he began, but imagined that if Luke was here that he'd tell him to keep on task, and really, Bellamy didn't want to mess this up here.
In the moments that followed, Bellamy was glad that Gummy was willing to continue the battle regardless, and so the Impmon would provide as much support as he needed. At once, he knew the situation. The strongest digimon here, Gummy and Strikedramon were engaged in combat. Gummy's human partner Justice was taking cover. So Bellamy made it his task to put himself between the other enemy digimon, Biyomon, and Justice. But he knew the best way was to keep it between him and her. And so he took that as his task.
However, Gummy proved himself up to the task when he attacked Strikedramon with his Prism Garrett technique. Strikedramon didn't know where to turn, and since he had already used his defensive technique against Gummy's first attack, he was powerless against the attack. All he could do in return was strike back with his "Dual Blaze Wave!"
"Ignore the Impmon, attack the human!" Strikedramon snarled, panting from the onslaught he had barely withstood. Biyomon obeyed, taking flight as she sought to attack Justice.
"Oh no you don't, bitch! Freeze Lancer!" he snarled, and sent another volley of ice shards up at the enemy, causing her to crash-land as the icicle spears lanced through her wings once again. But the threat was not over yet.
"Justice, if you can evolve Gummy a level further, you gotta do so! We don't have much time left!" Bellamy told his human ally. "If we force them into submission we can find the bomb they planted before it blows!"
Meanwhile, on the signals level, the battle was just as fierce. Luke and DinoHumon fought hit-for-hit in their effort to defeat the other. However, BlackGatomon at least felt in the position to challenge Vee's views on this.
"But... every time we digimon have tried to make lives better for ourselves, there's always been a human that's stopped us..." BlackGatomon began. "At least... that's what I've been told..." he added, feeling his need to resist be reduced. So much that in a key second, he was startled by the Vee Shot attack and didn't know which way to turn. All he could do was use his arms to shield his face as he was struck by the energy attack.
Colin meanwhile siezed on this, and shouted through the smoke of battle. "BlackGatomon! I'm a human here! I don't want conflict! I just want peace! My partner here just wants the same! Please, let's stop this!"
"Ignore him, BlackGatomon!" Dinohumon snarled. "He just wants you to lower your guard here! Stick with me and you'll have fulfilled your place as a guardian of the digital world..."
BlackGatomon tried to continue the battle for a little more, but, he gasped as all things changed when Colin drew his digivice again, the words "Perfect Evolution" forming on it.
"You give us no choice." Colin spoke as a glowing aura surrounded him. "Luke, it's time!"
The aura then burst through the digivice and shone over Luke. At once the Teslamon's armor transformed, but not his body. It remained the same as before, but a helmet formed on his head, his ears sticking through. Panels of blue armor covered his chest and upper arms, as well as his shins and ankles. A great wheel formed on his back, humming with power as it spun into position, and his spear split into two blaster weapons.
"Teslamon digivolve to... Dynammon!" he snarled as the transformation took place. Luke was now in his Ultimate level form. Both DinoHumon and BlackGatomon gasped and stood back in fear as Luke raised one of his blasters at DinoHumon.
"Now. Where's the bomb?" he asked, making it clear he would only ask the once by firing a shot of blue-white energy right over DinoHumon's shoulder, so close that he could feel its heat on his neck.
"...under the tracks, at the end of the luggage floor!" BlackGatomon suddenly shouted. DinoHumon glared, but the feline digimon could hold it in no longer. "We didn't want anyone to die here! That's why we held the Signals! So that there'd be no Trailmon in the blast!"
Luke didn't lower his weapon, but he nodded in acknowledgement. "Thank you, BlackGatomon, we're glad for your help."
"You little bastard! I'll cut your traitor digicore out for that!" DinoHumon snarled, but was disinclined by a second blast from Luke's other blaster.
"Make a move, DinoHumon, the next shot will hit you between the eyes." Luke promised, his own blue eyes focused squarely on him. DinoHumon believed him, and made no further movements.
Meanwhile, Colin was rapidly trying to send a message to Justice through his D-Terminal. The message he typed was as follows:
'We got the enemy in signals. Said bomb is at end of luggage floor. Please hurry and find it."
Hopefully Justice, Gummy and Bellamy could get to it in time.
Strikedramon is struck full on by Gummy's Prism Garrett. He recovers enough to counter attack with Dual Blaze Wave.
Dual Blaze Wave: Strikedramon punches twice rapidly, sending two projectile waves of fire at his target. [1 turn cooldown]
Biyomon attempts a basic attack at Justice, but is shot down by Bellamy.
Bellamy uses Freeze Lancer on Biyomon.
Freeze Lancer - Summons a shower of ice crystals in front of him, then sends them flying at the target.
BlackGatomon is struck by Vee's Vee Shot, and is persuaded to stop battling.
Colin evolves Luke to his Ultimate level form, Dynammon.
Luke uses Thundercast twice as warning shots to prevent DinoHumon resisting further.
Thundercast - Luke fires his uncharged twin blasters at the opponent, casting beams of charged plasma at them. He can aim for one target fully with both shots, or aim for two different targets at half power.
DinoHumon makes no moves in response.

Gummy growled in pain once the Dual Blaze Wave struck. Damn, he didn’t expect Strikedramon to quickly retaliate with the same attack as before. But he knew one thing about his opponent after that last exchange: he was on the ropes, despite the fight between them literally just beginning. A pity, He was expecting more of a challenge.
Hearing Strikedramon ordering the Biyomon to attack his partner, Gummy, for a moment, panic. The bird Digimon took flight, aiming to attack Justice. In response to the on-going threat, Justice pressed a button on his D-Watch, materializing a baton made of hardlight, allowing himself a degree of self-defense. Bellamy quickly retaliated for him, attacking Biyomon with a volley of ice shards. Though thankful of the Impmon for coming for his aid, Justice couldn’t help but feel a little peeved off.
“I could have handled that, you know.” He mumbled to himself , lowering his weapon. Even though he was out of his league here, he still wanted to provide at least some help with the fight, even if it was only marginal.
Bellamy then told him to evolve Gummy even further to end the battle quickly, before the bomb they planted blew up. Justice only looked away. “Sorry... but that’s the highest he can go. We're gonna have to make do with what we got."
Gummy couldn’t help but clutch both his fists in frustration. Bellamy merely suggested that was solid proof that both him and his brother Luke were much stronger than he and Vee. It’s why he stopped his brother from telling them how far they could evolve earlier when they all met; that’s basically telling them that they’re both weak, and he didn’t want that.
Almost out of time, Justice felt a wave of panic taking over him, for the first time in a while. This wasn’t good. At this rate, these guys would have accomplished their goal and their efforts would amount to shit.
His D-Watch buzzed on his wrist, a holographic screen forming slightly in front of him.
We got the enemy in signals. Said bomb is at end of luggage floor. Please hurry and find it.
“Alright, now Colin's giving some results,” Justice commented. “Good news: they got the situation handled upstairs. They gave up the info on where the bomb’s at, so now…” Swiping the data baton away, the young man took off in a sprint.
“Wait, the hell ya 'bout to do Specs?!” Gummy asked. Justice stopped, turning his head back to him.
“Something incredibly stupid," he replied. "You and Bellamy take care of things here. I’m gonna go find the bomb and play bomb disposal.”
“And leave you by yourself? Hell no! At least let us take care of things here and then find the bomb.”
“No! We’re running out of time every second we waste, and I’ll be damned if I let these suckas have the last laugh!"
Gummy growled; he had no choice but to agree. “Can you stop it?”
“Not sure. Cross your fingers.”
If Bellamy was also in agreement, Justice would then depart to the end of the luggage floor. To cover his human’s escape, Gummy would take the initiative to attack Strikedramon with his ‘Spin Calibur.’ The goal was simple: take care of these guys as quickly possible, then regroup with Justice.
In the signals area, the battle between Luke and DinoHumon was racking up, ready to shake the tunnel they were in. With Vee however, the BlackGatomon shielded himself from his attack, and counter the Veemon’s plead with his views, saying that humans were the reason why they couldn’t improve their lives; the reason why they were even doing this.
“Shut up about your damn lies!” Vee snapped at DinoHumon. He turned to BlackGatomon, his light red eyes gleaming with sincerity. “If you keep following him, blindly following his orders with no free will, you’re just gonna live a life on the run. Is that what you want?”
The same radiant light from Colin’s Digivice burst out once again, evolving Luke further into his Ultimate form: Dynammon. Vee took a step back, amazed by how much he had armored up.
After he gave out a first and final warning, BlackGatomon revealed the location of the bomb, it being under the tracks at the luggage area, the area that Justice, Gummy, and Bellamy were at.
DinoHumon threatened BlackGatomon, opting Vee to get in front of him to shield him of whatever attack he was gonna dish out. Thankfully that didn’t happen, as Luke’s mere power alone was enough to stop him squarely in his tracks. He turned to the black feline, happy that he made the right decision “Thank you. What you did was really brave.”
That relief quickly turned into panic as he realized the gravity of their new situation. He turned to Colin in a panic “Whoa-oh! That means if the bomb’s up there, then that means Justice and the others are in danger! We gotta get to them quick before it blows up!"
Combat Log:
Gummy is struck by Strikedramon's Dual Blaze Wave once more, taking 30% less due to his Dragon's Armor.
Combat Passive: Dragon's Armor Gummy's rubberized battle armor is very durable, giving him a 30% defensive boost against projectiles attacks.
Gummy attacks Strikedramon with Spin Caliber, covering Justice as he makes his way to where the bomb is at.
Spin Caliber - Slashes the enemy with his super-sized Tail Anchor. Causes minor Bleeding Effect (Damage over Time) for two turns. Two post cool down.
Prism Garret Cooldown: 1/3

Bellamy was panting after the effort of his ice attack. He heard Justice's muttering that he could've handled that, but the Impmon justified his actions in that moment.
"Sorry. That might be true, but, I know Colin wouldn't forgive me if I let a human get hit by a digimon in battle here." he replied. He was here acting on the utmost trust of his partner. And Colin had told him to look after Justice and Gummy as best he could, so that's what he was doing.
Then, the Impmon's green eyes widened with horror as Justice said that he couldn't evolve Gummy any further. That they were only limited to Champion level.
"...do you think you could try or something?!" Bellamy asked, bewildered. "Back in the day Colin couldn't evolve me or Luke to Ultimate either, but, he put his heart into it and we did it..."
He realized he was being somewhat insensitive here and took a moment to recompose himself, but, Bellamy was hoping these two had it in them to succeed. But still, he knew he had to plan for both situations here. If Justice and Gummy were really truly limited to Champion level, they'd have to work with that.
Then, Justice got the confirmation that the bomb was indeed on this level. That made Bellamy relieved. They were so close. But Biyomon seemed determined to seek this through to the end. Even with the icicles in her wings, she still attempted to attack further. Bellamy pitied her for a moment, but when push came to shove, when he saw her beginning to charge another attack, he narrowed his eyes and clicked his fingers again, sending a blast of exploding air at her. This time, she did not survive, her data disintegrating. Bellamy did nothing to impediment it, simply letting it return to the Village of Beginnings.
When Justice said his plan, Bellamy wanted to object at once, but, now that one enemy was down, he saw how it could work.
"If you really can't evolve Gummy to Ultimate, we'll do it this way then!" the Impmon declared. "I'll support Gummy, you just get through! When you get to the bomb, talk to my brother on the tamernet. He's an engineer, he'll guide you through what you need to do!"
After that, Gummy attacked Strikedramon with Spin Caliber. The dragon warrior digimon wasn't down yet. Knowing his options were limited, he ignited his whole body, then charged straight back at Gummy, taking damage from his attack while counter-attacking with a similar burning strike.
BlackGatomon was really shaken by Vee's question. He struggled to answer, but eventually found the words. "I... don't know if I have any other options." he admitted. "I did bad things. I don't want to do anymore bad things, but, I don't think anyone is going to forgive me."
"You don't get forgiveness for free, BlackGatomon." Colin said, gently. "You have to work toward it. If you show regret and compassion to the society you hurt and want to heal, they'll accept you back."
After being defended by both Luke and Vee, BlackGatomon felt his composure return. Yes. He could do this. He wasn't going to be bullied by DinoHumon any further.
Colin and Luke agreed with Vee's assessment of the situation, but there was just one loose end. DinoHumon. Luke turned to him.
"If we leave you here, DinoHumon, honestly, what will you do?" he asked.
"I'll repent my ways? And go home to my abode and never harm anyone again?" DinoHumon replied, then spat at Luke in defiance. "Don't pretend this is going any other way, Elecmon. Only way you're stopping the bomb in time is if you've got the balls to pull the trig-"
'PWWWOSSSSHHH'
Luke proved him wrong in that moment. While he felt regret and sadness inside while doing so, he knew there was no other way. His Thundercast attack destroyed the weakened DinoHumon outright. But he wouldn't touch his data. Let the Village of Beginnings deal with that.
"Let's go." was all he could say, leading Colin, Vee and BlackGatomon down toward their other comrades, hoping they could get to them in time.
Bellamy finishes off Biyomon with a last Semper Fire as she prepares to attack.
Strikedramon is struck by Spin Caliber, mustering some of the last of his strength to counter Gummy with Strike Fang.
Strike Fang - Strikedramon ignites the metal panels on his body with fire, then lunges forward to make physical contact with the enemy. If it hits, the burns they sustain will continue to do damage for 1 extra turn. [Cooldown: 2 turns]
Luke finishes off DinoHumon with Thundercast.
Thundercast - Luke fires his uncharged twin blasters at the opponent, casting beams of charged plasma at them. He can aim for one target fully with both shots, or aim for two different targets at half power.
Colin, Luke and BlackGatomon accompany Vee through the station towards the luggage level.

Justice was unaware of what Bellamy did to Biyomon due to all of the smoke covering where he fired the attack. Unaware of the death revolving around Digimon, he assumed that the opposing Digimon was out cold and down for the count before talking off. But Gummy however knew as clear as day it was far from the case.
When the smoke cleared, there was no unconscious pink bird lying on the ground in defeat, only a smoldering crater of where they last were, with remnants of her data flowing into the air, flickering away from sight. This was the first time he had watched a Digimon die. Looking at the small crater, he closed his eyes in silent sorrow for a moment, before turning his attention back at Strikedramon. He didn’t blame Bellamy for what he did; he did what he had to. But if their positions were switched...no. It’s too late for that now. The Biyomon made her choice, and she faced the ultimate price for it.
Besides, it was not all doom and gloom. Perhaps she’ll come back as a better person in the Village of Beginnings, free from all of the lies she was corrupted with.
After his attack connected, the Strikedramon seemly brushed his Tail Anchor like it was nothing, despite seeing streaks of red data leaking out of his body. Then, he lit his entire body on fire, and charged at the Arresterdramon. He gasped. Seeing how they were in a low environment, Gummy couldn’t just fly out of the way, so he did his best to endure the flames, the ground below him heating up.
The attack nailed Gummy in the chest, sending him crashing into one of the columns on the platform. His armor smouldering, he gave the Strikedramon a piercing glare, before picking himself up.
“Damn, for the first time ever, this is a fight I’m really not enjoying.” Gummy remarked. “Tell me, is this cause so important that you’re willing to die for it? If so, then that’s a pathetic existence right there.”
He turned to Bellamy. “Listen, I don’t know how you AGEIS guys work, but he’s the big bad honcho who orchestrated this. So my plan is to subdue him instead of killing him. Got a problem with that? If so then stay out of my way.”
Seeing that Strikedramon was on his last legs, Gummy used his wings as best he could and flew low fast, aiming to headbutt the lizard Digimon in the stomach as hard as he could. If that wasn’t enough to knock him out cold, he stood up, delivering a Mach Flicker barrage before delivering a final uppercut blow, hoping that was enough to knock him out cold
Despite all that, if that still wasn’t enough, and the Strikedramon was still adamant to fight, down to his last breath, then Gummy would be left no other choice…
"Ok, if I were ticking time bomb, just anxiously waiting to blow shit up to kingdom come, where would I be?" Justice mused to himself, sprinting to the luggage area at full speed. To calm his nerves, he started making witty banter with himself, to help keep himself level-headed despite a bomb about go off a moment's notice.
Reaching to the end of the luggage area, he faintly heard a ticking noise. At first he thought it was from the nearby clock stationed above one of the columns, since they're clocks out there that tick loud like that. Walking closer to the source of the sound, he found that the ticking noise was coming from the train tracks, not a place a regular clock would be.
"Jackpot." Justice jumped down to the tracks, following the ticking noise. It was getting louder and louder the closer he got. Reaching to the source, he found multiple pipe bombs strap together, with a timer clocking down for three minutes and forty-eight seconds.
Remembering from Bellamy that Luke was an engineer. He went on his D-Watch and went into Tamernet, typing in Colin's code before sending the message.
'Found the bomb. It's counting down to less than three minutes. It has multiple colored wires. Bellamy told me Luke was an expert at bombs, so which wire do I need to cut?'
He hoped that he could get the message in time without any interference. They should be just about done on their end.
Vee could only watch helplessly as Luke executed DinoHumon after his reply, watching his body convert into data and dispersing into the air. He had no words; he was too shock to what his ally just did.
When Luke ushered everyone to follow him, Vee clenched his fist in anger.; he couldn't hold back any longer. He jumped up to the Dynammon's height, punching his armored head. To Luke, it probably would barely affect him due to the difference of stages, but Vee made sure he put everything he had into that punch.
"How could you do that?!" Vee cried. "You had him beat. He was no longer a threat and you just...who in the hell made you judge, jury, and executioner, huh?!?" His face was contorted; a mixture of anger and sadness gripped him. "You could've restrained him, knock him out, turn him into the authorities--anything! Anything but that!"
He turned to Colin, a little bit of tears forming in his eyes. "How could you let him do that?! He was a bad guy, yes, but none of that warren him to be put down like some sort of rabid Gazimon. If Justice was here, he wouldn't have let that happen! He would have found a way!"
He lowered his head, following behind the three as he sobbed. "He would have..."
Combat Log:
Gummy is struck by Strikedramon's Strike Fang, sending him crashing into a support column, his armor scorchingas a result for 1 turn.
Tired and aiming to finish the fight fast, Gummy fly at Strikedramon, headbutting him in the stomach, before assaulting him with Mach Flicker, the last punch being an uppercut.
Mach Flicker - Unleashes barrage of punches. One-post cool down
Prism Garret Cooldown: 2/3 Mach Flicker Cooldown: 0/1 .

Post by Colin, Luke & Bellamy on Mar 9, 2020 10:33:53 GMT
Bellamy sighed as the realization had set in that he had destroyed another digimon, now that it was two against one. He really didn't want to do it, but, Colin had trusted him to work with Justice and Gummy to save the station. That Biyomon had also shown the willingness to attack humans as well, and he had seen the burning hatred in her eyes. He could have tried to simply knock her out, but, he had too much experience in bad things happening if he went easy on others.
He had almost got his friend Ryouta killed on the battlefield by messing around. He had lost his beloved Coronamon to the dark area for holding back. While the furred Impmon at first sight might appear like a mischievous little trickster, Bellamy took fighting deadly seriously.
Strikedramon meanwhile answered Gummy with a triumphant chuckle. "Of course! Once we slow down the flow of humans coming to this world and corrupting digimon like you, the new world will finally be able to manage its own affairs and exist purely as a society for digimon... I should return that question to you, Arresterdramon..." he assumed a dangerous fighting pose. "Are you willing to die for your human partner?"
He braced himself for the impact of Gummy's attack, but still, it was beginning to do a number on his weakened body. Data was bleeding from his wounds, disintegrating into the air. But Strikedramon still persisted, spitting out a tooth that Gummy had knocked out with the uppercut.
Gummy stated that his intention was to beat back Strikedramon until he gave up or couldn't fight anymore, rather than kill him. Bellamy nodded. Now that Justice was out of immediate harm's way, it was not imperative to fight with too much desperation.
"Alright, you handle this how you want." Bellamy answered, knowing to take to the back row in a fight with a digimon at a higher level than himself. "Don't let him beat you."
With that, Bellamy still had something to say to Strikedramon. "It's no use, you know. That human you've got so much contempt for is just gonna de-fuse the bomb, then your whole plan falls apart."
"Then I just have to destroy you two, then I'll re-activate it after I destroy him!" Strikedramon snarled, blue-white flames forming in his claws. Then with a cry of "Dragonfire Burst!" he clapped them together, sending an exploding beam of blue-white fire straight at Gummy.
Luke was... rather surprised by Vee's outrage at his actions. While the punch barely dented the Ultimate level's armor, he definitely felt its impact. For a moment, Luke doubted himself. Had he gone too far in shooting DinoHumon to destruction?
But no. He went over his actions and reactions carefully. They had to move urgently if they wanted to stop the bomb on time. DinoHumon had threatened BlackGatomon with violence quite nastily for telling them information. And he was still armed and dangerous and couldn't be trusted to be left alone.
Luke was about to go without saying anything, but, the fact that he had shocked and outraged Vee so much was hurting him deep down, so he felt the need to explain to him rather than have Vee's feelings fester against him.
"Vee..." Luke said in response, slowing down a little so that he could explain his actions to the blue drake. "Something you have to know about this world is that sometimes you have to take actions that you don't want to do in order to survive or save people. We had no time to beat him down, he was still willing to fight in order to give the bomb time to detonate, and he was threatening violence and was ready to die to do so. Also, I didn't load his data. He'll be reborn in the village of beginnings. I know that, because the same happened to me. He will live again, and hopefully make better decisions in his life this time rather than conspire to bomb train stations."
That was all he could say before resuming his sprint.
Seeing Vee cry, Colin answered him more gently. "I'm sorry you had to see that. We don't normally shoot to kill in AEGIS, but... Luke had to do so in order to save others. We don't know how much time we've got left before their bomb goes off. We don't know if DinoHumon had a failsafe that could detonate the bomb remotely. But Luke's right. He's not dead. His data was spared, so he'll re-form in the village of beginnings. And when he does, Luke's going to apologize to him and try and help rehabilitate him."
Luke had killed before, and he had done exactly that. Once he had to shoot a group of frenzied Dracomons that were threatening others. Luke had been devastated, as that had been his first deletion, and his conscience wasn't clear until he visited the Village of Beginnings to see the newly hatched Petitmon and asked for their forgiveness. They had been brainwashed so they didn't remember, but accepted his apology regardless.
Next, Colin was alerted by his D-Terminal. Another message from Justice. "Guys! Justice found the bomb!" he told them. "Luke, he wants to know what wire to cut..."
"Well, I'd have to see it first, so, tell him to take a picture and send it to us." Luke answered. Then he remembered who was with them. He turned to the third digimon in their group. "Unless you know how to de-fuse it, BlackGatomon?"
"Uhh, let me think..." BlackGatomon replied. "We didn't make the bomb that complex because we thought it'd be a simple matter and wouldn't get caught easily... so... the green wire... would make the bomb think the timer was 0 and would detonate prematurely, while the red wire... would be the one to cut if we started the timer accidentally. So yeah. Red wire. Certain of it!"
That fitted with what Luke knew. While it was rare that two timer bombs were the same, the failsafe wire for accidental activation would always be the red wire. The bombers associated it with emergency, while bomb deactivators would be reluctant to cut it since it was easy to associate red with "danger".
"Okay, Colin, tell Justice to cut the red wire, and tell me what happens." Luke replied. If Justice did so, the timer would stop, and the bomb would be disarmed.
Strikedramon takes damage from Mach Flicker, then counter-attacks Gummy with Dragonfire Burst.
Dragonfire Burst - Strikedramon forms blue-white flames in his claws, then claps them together, firing a beam of exploding energy directly at his target for increased damage. [2 turn cooldown].
