The Arresterdramon could only glare at Strikedramon’s response. At first, when he heard that there were bad Digimon trying to run a muck, Gummy couldn’t help but express glee and excitement due to not seeing any action in a while. He thought it’d be a perfect opportunity to showcase his strength to their new allies while also putting evil-doers in their place. That attitude he had previously was gone now.
The Strikedramon was serious, deadly serious about his words, yet every single one of them were wrong. From Gummy’s experience with Justice, and a few other human Tamers, he knew that none of them were like that to what the lizard Digimon described them as. Were they flawed? Yes. We’re they not what they were cracked up to be? Yes. But were they an invasive species that only want to conquer and corrupt where they see fit? Absolutely not.
And for Strikedramon’s question, he only remained silent, not knowing the answer to that yet, He assumed his fighting stance. The time for talking was over. He charged at him, unleashing his Mach Flicker barrage, ending it with an uppercut.
Despite that, Strikedramon was still conscious. Gummy cursed to himself. He didn’t put much into that attack as he thought he did. He didn’t know it, but he was subconsciously holding back, still not wanting to resort to killing him. But time was running out fast, and every second of this fight was ultimately wasting time. At this rate…
Bellamy stated to Strikedramon that his whole plan would fall apart once Justice finds the bomb and deactivates it, to which the lizard Digimon responded by setting his claws ablaze, saying that he’ll destroy him after taking care of them.
Hearing that, something snapped within Gummy, his body trembling with pure, boiling anger. The thought of Justice getting harmed or killed immediately made his Tail Anchor catch ablaze with purple flames. If he had a visible mouth, his teeth would be showing. He breathed loudly and heavily, his gaze turning towards Strikedramon once again.
The Digimon released his attack, sending an exploding beam of energy his way. Gummy extended both of his arms, struggling to hold back the beam aiming to take him out.
The floor tiles beneath him started to crack and crumble, his feet immediately being pushed back as a result. His gloved hands started to scorch and burn as a result. The pain was unbearable. The attack alone was enough to put him down for the count.
“I won’t…” he whispered, a tone of rage escaping him. “I won’t let you lay a hand…” He slowly started to push himself forward, trying his hardest to resist the flames. “...ON MY PARTNER!!!”
In a fiery passion, he used the momentum of the beam and redirect over against his shoulder, sending the blast crashing into the end of one of the adjacent tunnels, the attack exploding in the process. With Strikedramon now vulnerable, Gummy rushed at him in full speed. That was the final straw. He would make sure he’ll regret meeting him, regret his very existence, regret ever threatening his friend.
It’s settled; he needed to be put down.
“SPIRAL SHREDDER!!” He began to spin, the flames on his tail starting to intensify until blue embers started to emit, the hottest his flames have ever been. He wanted to make sure Strikedramon felt the full extent of his anger, and that those last words would be the last words he’ll ever utter.
Because unlike the Biyomon, he's not getting a second chance at life.
After sending out the message, Justice dug into his bag, taking out a pair of art scissors and waited. He began to anxiously twirl his hair, waiting for Colin to message back. He didn’t take his eyes off the countdown. With each second passing, he thought about taking the initiative and disarming the bomb himself, but backed off. Despite taking an engineering class, he didn’t want to risk messing with it until he got a response back. One bad move, and the bomb would prematurely go off.
“Ugg… hurry up Colin.” He frustratingly said. He wondered if him and Vee were still engaged in combat in the upper levels. If so, then it might be the reason why he was taking so long to respond.
After what seemed like forever, his D-Watch buzzed. He swiped and pulled up the message quickly, a small holographic screen appearing.
Colin said to cut the red wire. With that, Justice opened his scissors and put it over the wire, ready to cut it. The time remaining was a minute and six seconds. He wiped sweat from his forehead, and closed his eyes. With a swift movement, he closed the scissors, cutting the wire.
After a few seconds of silence, Justice slowly opened his eyes. The timer stopped and the bomb deactivated.
“Holy shit..." He breathed a sigh of relief, leaning his back over to the corner. It was a good thing he came here a minute early. If not, there wouldn't have been enough time to disarm the bomb and it would have likely gone off in his face. “Well then, it looks like the Strikedramon’s plan went up in smoke.”
He looked around, only realizing he was the only one here.
“Dammit. If only Vee and Gummy were here with a smart remark." He got back on his D-Watch, texting Colin about the good news.
Listening to Luke and Colin, Vee turned away, his tears still flowing. He knew as clear as day if a Digimon died, their data gets recycled and sent back to the Village of Beginnings, waiting to be born again. The only way for a Digimon to die permanently is if their data gets absorbed by another Digimon. He knew this for a fact. But unlike Luke, who was more experienced than him, this was the first time he had watched a Digimon die right in front of him. And the way it happened distrubed him.
But he was right; DinoHumon was ready to die for his cause. But it was such a shame that a Digimon like him was corrupted into believing that humans were the root of all evil.
Calming himself down, the blue dragon wiped his tears away, he nodded to both Luke and Colin. “You better apologize to him,” he said to the Dynammon sternly, “and I’ll be sure to accompany you to make sure of it.”
Colin announced that Justice had found the bomb and was wondering how to disarm it. BlackGatomon then advised him to cut the red wire in order to deactivate the whole thing entirely.
Confident that Justice will get it done, he started to sprint harder, getting in front of everyone. He hoped that everything was going far on their end, and he also hoped that his brother did not experience with what he went through just a few moments ago. Combat Log:
Gummy holds back Strikedramon's Dragonfire Burst, taking damage from the sheer heat of the flames.
Gummy, in a fit of unyielding rage, redirects Strikedramon's attack over, then charges and attacks him with Spiral Shredder, aiming to bisect the Digimon.

Both Bellamy and Strikedramon noticed something change in Gummy after Strikedramon threatened Justice like that. An explosive rage that Bellamy had only seen or felt when Colin was directly threatened.
"You shouldn't have said that." was all the Impmon said to Strikedramon, still keeping back. His green eyes watered from the intensity of Gummy's flames. It seemed that now the Arresterdramon was going to attack with the intent to kill.
Strikedramon braced before Gummy struck. Sparks flew as he used his Dramon Bulwark technique to protect himself from being ripped to pieces by the attack. But the effort to completely block it made him grunt and struggle to hold it. Eventually though, with a final snarl, he managed to push back.
"Heh. Took you long enough to give it your A-game..." Strikedramon said, sounding impressed with Gummy fighting with full resolve. But he had ignored his own wounds for too long. "Shit..." he cursed, holding a wound on his arm that was now stinging with pain.
"It's over, Strikedramon! Give up now!" Bellamy shouted. "De-digivolve and surrender! You've got nothing left!"
Strikedramon did nothing, simply watching for what Gummy would do next.
Colin and Luke were glad that Vee understood why they had done what they did. "Alright. We'll make it a trip to the village together." Luke promised.
Still making their way to the luggage level, Colin got a text back from Justice telling them that the timer on the bomb had now stopped.
"Luke! Justice did it!" he exclaimed to his partner.
"Okay, great!" Luke said as they descended the stairs to the main floor. But before they could get to the luggage floor, they were hailed by an Andromon wearing uniform. Accompanying him was a squad of Rookie and Champion level digimon, all wearing a similar navy blue tunic.
"You there! Stop! Terminus Security!" he shouted. Colin had no choice but to do so, not wanting to be on the wrong side of the law here. "What is the meaning of this?! What are you still doing in the station with the alarms going?!"
"We're with AEGIS." Colin said. "There's a bomb in the luggage floor! Our partners are down there disarming it!"
"A bomb?!" the Andromon asked, shocked. "Say no more. We will accompany you."
Supposing there was nothing they could do about it, now that the Terminus city authorities were on the case, Colin, Luke and BlackGatomon accompanied the security force down toward where the others were.
Strikedramon uses Dramon Bulwark to block the damage of Spiral Shredder.
Dramon Bulwark: Blocks incoming damage from 1 champion level attack. [Cooldown: 2 turns]
In doing so, Strikedramon is nearly depleted of energy to remain in the battle.

Gummy growled in response to Strikedramon blocking his flaming Tail Anchor. Despite the Digimon saying previously that his cause was something worth dying for, he outright refused to die. Well he was gonna fix that, since his decision was clear.
He jumped away from the lizard Digimon, putting a bit of space between them. The Arresterdramon only glared at him wildly at his compliment, trying his hardest not to resist the urge to walk over there and tear him into a million bytes. Gummy was not having any of it. No amount of words of apologizing was gonna save his skin now.
Bellamy gave Strikedramon one last chance to surrender, seeing as though there was no way out of this, only to be met with silence. Gummy's eyes widen in anger, seeing as that was his answer. He clutched his fist, so hard that streams of red data started to drip to the ground, only to slowly disperse.
He closed his eyes, focusing all of his energy into his Tail Anchor, his whole body radiating a ghostly, vibrant blue. He took off from the ground, charging towards Strikedramon at full speed.
"SEE YOU IN HELL, STRIKEDRAMON!!'
Gummy disperse into four spirit-like copies of himself, aiming to slash Strikedramon as such rapid speeds that it'd appeared as though the spirits moved through the commando dragon like, before coming together to form the Arresterdramon.
This was the killing blow.
"And to answer your question, yeah, I am willing to die for my partner. Because to me, he's family, something you'll never understand."
Combat Log:
Gummy channels all of his power and attacks Strikedramon with Prism Garret, aiming to finish him off.
Prism Garrett - Creates illusions of himself that surrounds and slash the opponent at once. Causes moderate Bleeding Effect (Damage over Time) that lasts for three turns. Three post cooldown.

Strikedramon had no means of adequate defense against Gummy's attack. Instinctively he tried to counter-attack with Strike Fang, but his body failed to respond in time. The attacks were coming from all directions, so rapid that he couldn't even see the hits before they struck him.
He gave one last snarl of defiance before his body could take no more, shattering into data very much like Biyomon's did. Bellamy was in awe.
"Gummy, you did it!" the Impmon said, impressed, but was sad at the fact that the enemy digimon were so filled with hatred and determination to enact their act of terrorism that they refused to be taken alive. He looked in the direction that Justice had run. "I'm guessing he got the bomb disarmed in time too." he remarked.
As he said this, they would hear footsteps coming from the corridor leading to the section. It was Colin, Luke, BlackGatomon, Vee and a squad of Terminus Security.
"Just in time!" Bellamy said, waving over at Colin. "There was a Biyomon and Strikedramon down here, but, they wouldn't go down without a fight."
"Alright. There was a DinoHumon upstairs that did the same." Colin replied, panting. "Justice just messaged us though, he's disarmed the bomb."
Luke approached his brother, noting the burns and scuffs from his fight with Biyomon. "You alright there, Bells?" he asked, worried.
"Eh, I think I can sleep it off." Bellamy answered. Meanwhile, Andromon stepped forward, intent on taking charge.
"All well and true, but, we must secure the bomb. Where is it?" he asked, impatiently. Bellamy pointed down where Justice had run. Andromon nodded and told about half the squad to continue onward and secure it. They wouldn't bother Justice when they crossed paths. Andromon meanwhile surveyed the room for its battle damage, then turned to the group.
"You say you fought a Biyomon and Strikedramon here." he said. He believed them, there were traces of the destroyed digimons' data still in the air. "Pity we don't have anyone alive to take in though."
"Um..." BlackGatomon raised his paw nervously. "I was working with them, but I turned on them and helped these guys stop the bomb going off. I'm willing to cooperate with you, sir."
"He's right, he did turn on the others and helped us." Colin added. Andromon regarded them for a moment, then nodded.
"Very well. If you're willing to accompany us to Security HQ and provide a full testimony, we'll see where we stand." he said. In that moment, a Gaomon security officer returned from where the bomb was.
"We found the bomb, sir. It's disarmed." he confirmed.
"Good. Make sure it's fully secured. I'll send for the bomb squad to dispose of it." Andromon said, then looked over the AEGIS trio and friends. "Well then. Looks like we owe you one for today, AEGIS."
Strikedramon is unable to take further damage and is destroyed by Prism Garrett.

By the attack’s end, Gummy didn’t bother to look back at Strikedramon as his body was destroyed, reduced to its core components of simple fragments of white data that floated in the air harmlessly, ready to make the journey back to the Village of Beginnings so it could recompile into a DigiEgg.
The Arresterdramon turned around and watched as the data started to drift away in the air, a mix of anger and sorrow appearing on his armored face. His tail started to tremble. Despite Bellamy congratulating him, he would get no reply from Gummy. He wasn’t upset that he had to kill him, he was upset that Strikedramon, despite chance after chance, decided to throw his life away for a pathetic cause, and forced him to kill him.
Bellamy then said that Justice most likely disarmed the bomb, to which Gummy replied with a slight nod. “Yeah…”
Watching the data, something began to dawn on him. He knew that Strikedramon would be reborn in the Village of Beginnings, but what would happen if he went back to his old ways again? He saw the bloodlust in his eyes. His hatred for humans ran deep. Who’s to say he won’t try something like that again? He’ll remember where he failed at, and make another attempt on a much grander scale. Maybe it was best to prevent all that from happening—to absorb his data. Besides, he’d threaten to kill Justice. That alone was something unforgivable.
Before he could commit himself to that decision, footsteps became more audible, marching to their location.
“Gummy!” Vee’s voice caught the attention of Gummy. Gummy looked to the side and saw his older brother racing towards him. Gummy then decided to devolve back into his Gumdramon form, with scars all around. Vee wrapped his arms around him, and embraced him in a warm hug.
“You alright?” He asked, with a worried expression. “You didn’t get banged up too hard did ya? Quick, how many fingers am I holding up?"
“I’m fine, I’m fine. Jeez.” Gummy replied, brushing his hand aside. Though he gotta admit, he needed his brother’s comfort right now. Looking at the traces of Strikedramon's data, he decided to leave it be. It wasn't up to him to decide his ultimate fate. Let the Village of Beginnings handle it from here.
Overhearing from the Andromonthat they were facing a Strikedramon and a Biyomon, Vee looked around to see where they were, only to find traces of data fluttering in the air. His eyes widened, but realizing what Gummy and Bellamy had to do. “You guys too huh…” he mumbled to himself.
“They left us no other choice, especially the opponent I was facing: the Strikedramon. He’d threatened to kill Justice and I just—“
“You did what you had to." Vee interrupted, hugging him again tightly. “All that matters is that it’s over.” If he was in that position, he probably might have done the exact thing, Now he fully understood where Luke was coming from. When it comes to dealing with bad guys like that, the ones willing to take lives, sometimes they can’t be reasoned with, no matter how much you want them too.
But, at least he was able to convince BlackGatomon the error of his ways, so it wasn’t all doom and gloom there. He hoped that since he helped them, he would get a lesser punishment.
The half of the security squad that were sent to Justice’s location didn’t have to travel too long, as the young man was walking down to where he left Gummy and Bellamy. He pointed to where the bomb was at, and continued walking back until he saw everyone there.
“Last one to show up, eh Justice?” Vee said, with a small smile appearing on his face
Justice shook his head. “Hey, that was literally my first time being right next to a fully armed explosive. I needed a minute to catch my breath, ok? Because my god defusing that thing was more stressful than any college exam.”
“So... you do better when lives are at stake than in school?” Gummy asked.
Justice paused for a moment, a bit stunned. “Something like that I suppose? It's more like working well under pressure.” He looked away to see that the Biyomon and Strikedramon were nowhere to be seen. “So what happened to those guys you and Bellamy were facing, Gummy? Did they turn chicken and run tail?"
Gummy didn’t respond. He looked down frowning, unable to admit what they had to do.

Bellamy was a bit unnerved by the way Gummy was staring at Strikedramon's data. 'Shit, he's not really gonna do it is he?' the Impmon thought with worry. So far he thought Gummy was a pretty good digimon, but, if he did what he was frightened of and loaded the data of Strikedramon, that would change this opinion significantly.
Thankfully, the others arrived in time and that was enough to wrench Gummy from that line of thought entirely. With that done, Bellamy turned his attention to Luke and Colin.
After they assured each other that they were fine, and after Andromon was satisfied with their answers as to what happened, then Justice asked what happened to Strikedramon and Biyomon.
Gummy couldn't answer, so Bellamy did. "They couldn't be reasoned with. They continued to fight us no matter what we said to them. Both of them threatened to attack and aim to kill Justice. We responded with lethal force."
"Oh... I see..." Colin replied, looking carefully at Justice, wondering what he would make of this. "You didn't load them did you?"
"Of course we didn't. You should know me, Colin!" Bellamy snapped. "Luke and I are only here now because another digimon spared our data, what would we be if we loaded other digimon like cannibals?!"
"Okay, I'm sorry I offended you, Bells." Colin replied. Bellamy accepted his apology.
In this awkward moment, Luke turned to Andromon. "Excuse me, sir, are we free to go?" he asked.
"Only if I can expect a full official report from AEGIS within the next day." Andromon replied. "Your actions may have been welcome, but they happened in Terminus City jurisdiction. I'm sure I don't need to remind you of our operational pact."
"Yes, of course." Colin replied. "I'll report back to AEGIS HQ immediately and you'll have your report of our actions ASAP."
"Very well. The six of you are free to leave." Andromon said, then pointedly looked at BlackGatomon, indicating he had to stay. Thankfully he seemed to accept this arrangement.
Assuming they were all going to leave, Colin turned to Justice and his partners.
"Thanks, guys, we probably couldn't have done all this without you." Colin said to them. In fact, he was struck by an idea. "You know... we could do with guys like you in AEGIS. You'd make pretty good agents." he looked between them. "You did well in a crisis, you're good in battle, you even disarmed a bomb, first try. If you're interested, I could introduce you to my sister and I'm pretty sure that she'd let you on board."
"Yeah, I agree, it'd be great to work with you guys again." Bellamy concurred. Luke nodded in agreement as well.
"You don't have to answer now though. If you want to think it over, you've got my Tamernet details." Colin said. "Anyways, for now, let's get out of here."
On the way back to the entrance, when given the opportunity, Bellamy would speak quietly to Gummy, so that they weren't overheard.
"So, uh, for a moment back there, I thought you were gonna do somethin' bad and try and load Strikedramon's data." he said. "While I would've totally understood if you did so, not like I had any power to stop you anyway, I'd just like to say... thanks for not doin' that. It means a lot to me."
After a short pause, Bellamy continued. "Hey, how about you and me pay a visit to the Village of Beginnings sometime in the next month? I think there's a couple of digimon there that we need to talk to."

Hearing from Bellamy that him and Gummy were forced to eliminate their two opponents, despite giving them plenty of chances to give up, Justice turned to Gummy with a shocked expression. The Gumdramon couldn’t meet him in the eye. His face indicated that he did not enjoy it. Hearing that both of them planned to kill Justice, just because he was a human, well, he understood, but to kill another being was something hard for Justice to swallow.
He spotted a pair of pixelated data swirling around nearby. He slowly walked to one of them, extending his hand out. Before he made contact, the data disappeared from sight. His expression grew forlorn and said, “Well...it is what it is, but a part of me wished to have stayed and tried to get them to listen.”
Justice turned to Gummy. “And you did this for me?”
Gummy looked up, his face slightly turning red. “Of course!” he answered quickly. “B-but don’t get the wrong idea. If you would have gotten killed, then who would provide me all the delicious food the human world has to offer? After tasting those treats called funnel fries, no way in hell I’m going back to DigiMeat and DigiNoir.”
Vee squinted at him, finding that very hard to believe. “Good to see your priorities are still wack.” He turned to Justice. “And don’t let what happened to them get you down. Their data will go back to the Village of Beginnings into a DigiEgg, and they’ll be reborn. I guess that’s something we forgot to tell you when all three of us became partners.”
“Yeah, you sure did.” Justice replied snarky. “That’s something about Digimon I didn’t know about. Those I guess since you guys are made of a bunch of fucking ones and zeros, that’d make sense.”
The Andromon told the six of them they were free to leave, appreciating their help. As they were walking, Colin asked if the trio was interested in joining AEGIS due to their good performance. The three of them started to whisper among themselves, weighing in the pros and cons about this for a couple of seconds. Ultimately, they came into an agreement.
“We’re in.” They all said in unison.
Now at the entrance, Bellamy pulled Gummy to the side, thanking him for not loading Strikedramon data. Now knowing he and Luke’s data were almost loaded, the purple drake nodded with a small smile.
“Don’t worry about it. Although I would have if nobody had come downstairs. He was damn lucky, after spouting all that deranged bullshit,” he said.
The furred Impmon then asked if he wanted to make a stop at the Village of Beginnings next month to visit them, to which Gummy replied, “Hell yeah! And forget about talking; I’m gonna give those two an earful of a lifetime.”
Stepping out of the terminal’s entrance, the six of them were greeted to bustling nightscape of Terminus, with the nighttime breeze blowing against them. A nice little reward from all of that fighting. It felt a bit euphoric, though it didn’t last for too long.
“Ah crap!” Justice blurted out. “After all that, the terminal will be down for who knows how long! Shit...that means we’re gonna be here for a minute until everything’s back in order.”

Colin and his partners listened in on the discussion between Justice and his partners. There was little they could add to that, but Colin was reminded of his own relationship with Luke and Bellamy early on in their time together. Yeah, they weren't entirely similar - Bellamy was more honest with his feelings than Gummy was, and Luke would've told Colin something like that as soon as possible. But it made him feel nostalgic, back to the time when he was a bewildered 13-year old boy getting used to having two sentient beings from another world in his life.
After they were dismissed, Colin was glad that they agreed so quickly. "That's great! I can get you to meet Sophie in the next few days or so, hopefully. I'll keep you informed." he replied, glad that fate or coincidence had allowed them to meet in the first place.
In Bellamy's private conversation with Gummy, he nodded in respect, but still had reservations about the fact that he would have loaded Strikedramon if nobody else had come.
"In my books, only load someone if they come after you a second time." he advised. "The first time might just be a result of the bad decisions they went through in life. But if Strikedramon wants a round two with you and is still spouting that same bullshit about threatenin' your partner? That's free game I reckon."
The Impmon was glad that Gummy agreed that they should visit the reconfigured Strikedramon and Biyomon in the village, hopefully settling their dispute once and for all. In Bellamy's experience, it often turned enemies into friends, the digimon he destroyed, he had tried to make amends with, and most of them were now living new lives as fully functioning members of society. Mostly in Rosewood, but some had spread to other areas of the digital world.
Soon after, they exited the station. Justice then realized that no Trailmons will be likely leaving tonight until the station was declared safe again. But that was no worries to Colin, who pulled his digivice from his pocket.
"That's fine. I can create a portal that'll take us through back to the human world, it'll only take 5 minutes to charge." Colin said, smiling.
"Uhh... Colin, with the Trailmons down, do you think it's a good idea to charge a portal in front of the station where everyone can see?" Luke asked, hesitantly. By now he had de-digivolved back to his Elecmon form now that the danger had passed.
"Oh, uh, right, we should probably find somewhere more discreet." Colin said, looking around the busy street for somewhere nobody would look if they could help it. Eventually he settled on an alleyway behind a souvenir shop, turning down similar alleyways behind restaurants that would be quite pungent with smells of rotting food in the dumpsters. The smell was acceptable, and so he got to work.
"Digiport, open!" he said for theatrical effect as he raised his digivice to the wall, opening a portal that would lead back to the human world. Supposing there was little else to do for the next five minutes while the link was established, he turned to the others to make smalltalk. "So, while we're waiting, feel like telling me a bit about your experiences with digimon so far?" he asked. "If not, that's fine. Just I reckon my sister Sophie will want to know that."
"If not we could pass time by playin' spin the bot-" Bellamy began before Luke nudged him. "I mean, 20 questions?" he corrected himself.

Justice was glad that Colin had a Digi-Port installed on his digivice. He was considering finding a hotel to spend the night until the station opened back up. Less bits for him to spend, the better. He, Vee, and Gummy had come to the Digital World via Trailmon, hence why they were waiting for one earlier. Although he had a Digi-Port installed on his D-Watch, it was only the basic version that would teleport the user to Terminus Station from the human world, or to their last known location in the human world from the Digital World.
The three of them followed Colin and the others to a place where he could open the portal that doesn’t involve the public’s attention. Their only focus was the aftermath of the attempted attack on the station, no need to cause another scene. They eventually settled in an alleyway behind what looks to be a souvenir shop, and established the portal.
Colin then turned to them and asked what their experiences were with Digimon, seeing as though they got a little time to kill.
“Hmmmm...honestly not a whole lot.” Justice admitted. “Since I’m a foreign student from America studying abroad, I really don’t have a whole lot of time since most of my weeks consist of going to class, homework and labs, and sleep. I mean, I know that time here flows more differently, but sometimes I’m so busy that I often forget. But for Digimon experiences…”
“We’ve been in two missions so far,” Vee continued. “One dealing with Digimentals going around illegally in the black markets, and a Demon Lord’s mission dealing with a burger truck serving food that turned Digimon into Burpmon if they ate too much of it.”
Gummy stuck out his tongue in disgust. “Eeeck!” Don’t even get me thinking about that mission. We’re damn lucky we stopped it in time before it turned the whole city into Burpmon apocalypse.”
“True, but you only hated that mission because that Black Gabumon named Bero threw your butt like a baseball at that truck.” Vee said teasingly.
“You wanna join those Digimon we wiped the floor with?!” The small purple dragon’s tail ignited a fiery blue, but quickly dwindled out, still exhausted from all the fighting. “Ugh. I’m so hungry.”
Justice snickered. “Ah come on Gummy, that was a grand salami move if I ever seen one. Had he not done it, that truck would have gotten away.”
Gummy crossed his arms, grumbling in response.
Justice continued, “There’s also what happened with Golden Week, where a bunch of Digimon tried to run amuck. A bunch of Tamers and Digimon, including us, stop them but...our group was taken into DATS HQ and…”
“We can’t talk about it—For confidential purposes.”
“But anyway, what about you? I’m pretty sure you got a plethora of stories to tell.”

Colin nodded with understanding. "I get that. My parents are only willing to go along with me doing digital world things as long as I keep ahead in my schoolwork. I've nearly finished my junior year, then just my senior year then I'll be free at last." he explained. "Still though, the time differences in the digital world do help a lot when it comes to crunch time." he was then struck with an idea. "Hey, if you get accepted into AEGIS, we could have study nights in the digital world maybe?" he offered. "Why waste seven times the time available when you can do it all in the digital world?"
"Because it's unfair with our classmates?" Luke said, raising an eyebrow.
"Eh, but we help keep their world safe though, we deserve that kinda bonus." Bellamy argued back. Luke rolled his eyes as though he had gone through this argument several times before and chose not to engage.
Vee and Gummy talking about their missions gained Colin and his partners' interest. "Oh? You've been involved with the Demon Lords? In that case, I think Sophie will definitely take you on board. We've been a bit worried about them lately, but, if you've had direct experience with them, that'd be sweet if you join us."
And they were also directly involved with Golden Week. That caught the trio's attention.
"Well, that's a pretty good resume there." Colin stated. "As for us, well, we've been on a lot of missions too. First was the excursion with an enforcer called Yuu to a hidden lab in the Binary Archipelago where digimon were being forcibly evolved by bad methods. We busted it up and saved the digimon that were being experimented on."
"Then there was our trip with Ryouta and Ry- I mean, Valt in the Northern Prominence, where we fought off a crazed Groundramon and evolved to Ultimate for the first time." Luke continued.
"And from there, we were called to Whitewater to save it from an incursion from this bastard BlackDynasmon." Bellamy said, sounding uncharacteristically upset as he recalled the story. "He was after my boyfriend, Coronamon. We evolved to Mega and then we biomerged to fight him off, but, somehow he infected Coronamon with a virus, and..."
He was spared from the obligation of sharing further details by Colin's portal finally stabilizing enough for them to pass through. On the other side was an empty room in the Shibuya Station, where they intended to go. Bellamy was glad when he felt Colin's hand gently stroking his back, holding his emotions back for now. He wasn't yet ready to share that story.
For now, it was time to head home. Colin, Luke and Bellamy stepped through it, and it would linger for Justice, Vee and Gummy to do the same. On the other side, they were standing in a secluded part of Shibuya station in the human world.
"Well, guess this is where we part ways for now." Colin said. He noted that tomorrow was a Sunday, which would be perfect for Justice and his partners to be introduced to the others in AEGIS HQ. "If you're still up for joining up with AEGIS, would you be okay with showing up in Scramble Crossing tomorrow morning around 9? I'll give you directions over Tamernet where you'd need to go. Best keep it discreet like that, my sister will kick my ass if I'm too open about our location, heh..." he finished with a chuckle.
In the end, he offered a handshake. "Thanks for helping us out, Justice. You and your digimon were fantastic today." he praised them. Luke and Bellamy offered the same. Once that was done, they would return home in their own ways, hoping to see them again tomorrow.

Justice's eyes widen slightly when Colin suggested that the two of them should do study nights in the Digital World. "Huh...you know I never really thought about doing that," he said, before putting his hand over his face. "Aww man, I kept begging for more time to study the day before an important exam and the solution was right in front of me this whole time." Man, I'm such a dumbass."
"That makes two of us." Vee replied, nudging the side of his thigh with an elbow.
"You mean three?" Gummy gleamed, jumping on Justice's shoulders and leaning his head on top of his. "Besides, with our stupidity combined, we make a full pint."
Justice sighed. "Three pints make a pint and a half ya dimwits. No matter how much I correct you two on this, I'm never gonna hear the end of it, aren't I?"
"Nope!"
Justice rolled his eyes and gave a smile. Despite the phrase being incorrect, he had to admit, it did had a nice ring to it. The two brothers were like the brawn and he was the brain. Put all three of them together and you got a team that'll be hard to beat.
Hearing from Colin that their experiences with both the Demon Lords and Golden Week already made them qualified, the young man was satisfied to here that. The other trio then shared their experiences with, from destroying a hidden lab experimenting with Digimon, to fighting a rabid Groundramon, to saving Whitewater from BlackDynasmon. The latter of which seemed to upset Bellamy as he told it. It seems they've faced many hardship, yet their bond remained un-wavered.
With the portal finally stabilizing, the six of them walked through, ending up in an empty room in the Shibuya Station.
Hearing that this was goodbye until tomorrow, since he's still interested in joining AEGIS, Justice reached out and accepted Colin's handshake. "Likewise, man." He replied. "We don't have a lot of friends, so I hope the three of ya'll can be."
The twin dragons accepted Colin's praises in their own way, with Vee getting a little red, smiling, while Gummy stood tall and puffed up his chest. After that, the two trios went their own separate way. Tomorrow's gonna be exciting.
