"Ah, that's the best thing about all this... no call-ups!"
Quite! 'Participants' were put behind a pane of glass - close enough to use Digivices but otherwise safe from the shenanigans of the fight - while those inside would find themselves in a rather direct battlefield. They stood on a stable circular platform, about a hundred feet in length. Those that tested the surface would find it to be a thick black rubber material - one that made it difficult to slide but definitely made it easy to trip and faceplant if one made a sudden stop. But why such an interesting material?
Well, for one, at the edges of the platform was an ominous black pit - and a further ten feet out, and in a dome above that measured seventy feet at its tallest point - was a tight grid of red and blue sparking wires. "But honestly, the fight here is simple! Normal rules apply - fight until your opponent concedes or is deemed unfit to continue. But if you fall down the hole? Then you're automatically out! Oh, and don't think you can be too clever with wings!"
The Scout sent a bullet out towards the grid - at which point it charred right up into black dust! "Heh! Hitting or getting pushed into this edge will put a strong current through your body. I don't care what your supposed electrical resistance is - get hit with this bad boy and you're going straight down. Now if there are no questions... well, get to it.
Fight!"

Well, this was certainly a nice change of paste.
This Virtual Tournament was something to behold. Never before had Justice been to a major public. It was almost kind of nerve-racking to see so many eyes on him and his Digimon, Vee and Gummy. He still didn't know why he entered all three of them to the tournament: was it for fame, recognition, or a opportunity to prove their strength throughout the Digital World. He didn't know. But what he did know was that Tadayoshi and his army were there, and he wasn't gonna let the chance of a rematch slip past him. After that grueling fight they had, Vee and Gummy attained a new level of power - the power of digivolution of course. But will that be enough for the trials for them ahead?
No matter. Before they could even think about Tadayoshi, they had to think about their opponent at hand. Touching the glass that separated him from the stage, Vee and Gummy looked back to him and gave him a thumbs up, to which he then returned, and reply, "Show em' what you're made of!" He doubt they could even hear him since he was behind glass for his own safety, but as long as he said it, that's all that mattered.
The opponent before them was a Monodramon. Despite the match being friendly, the two brothers had a strong urge to win. If they didn't, they won't hold anything, just as long as they gave it their all. Well, Gummy might hold it down. The two got into their fighting stances as the announcer gave the call the begin the match.
"Don't let your guard down," Vee cautiously teased his little brother. Gummy slighty bonked the Veemon in the head in response.
"Heh, that goes for you too," he confidently replied.
Vee then cracked his knuckles together and look to their opponent on the other side of the arena. "We're ready when you are!" Since they outnumbered the Betamon two-to-one. He thought it was courteous that they make the first move.

The thing about science is that it relies on data. And a good scientist collects all kinda of data, so that they always have something to compare results to.
The reason Ayumi had entered this tournament was not to win. Well, winning would be a nice and cool side effect, but her main concern was raw data. Her data archives were seriously lacking in combat data, only having serious data from the fights in the salt desert and against that dragon on that volcano. A tournament was the ideal place to rectify that, in a controlled environment with little to no danger of serious injury.
Still, the whole glamour of the arena, the spectators, the architecture, it intimidated Mon and Tamer quite a bit. As Ayumi looked around behind the protective glass, she was in awe, especially at that zappy barrier. "Whoa, this stuff is sophisticated...okay, Solomon, do your best, but don't overwork yourself!" The Monodramon nodded. "I shan't worry you, Ayumi." Then he turned to his two opponents. Gumdramon and Veemon. Two Dragon Digimon, rare in the wild. The data acquisition was already paying off. He bowed to the two. "It is an honour to face you in combat. I wish you two the best of luck, for I shan't hold back." With that, he rose, ready for combat to start.

The two brothers were a bit surprised at the Monodramon's formality. They didn't expect to be facing a Digimon with such manners; it was such a contrast to what they were used to when fighting rough, and ill-mannered opponents.
"Likewise," Vee responded, bowing to him as well. Gummy however, did not return the gesture.
"You're a Dragon Digimon just like us, so don't expect us taking it easy on you," Gummy sharply stated.
With that, they were ready. As usually with fights like these, they weren't sure what their opponent had in store for them. For all they know, he could be a close range brawler, or a mid-to-far range combatant. Every Digimon had their gimmick, so the best way to see their fighting style was to draw them out.
Vee nudged his brother to lend his ear for a moment. Gummy complied and he whispered for a moment. Whatever was said, Gummy nodded in response. To Justice, it appears that the two had a plan. Knowing Vee, he always has a habit of planning two steps ahead when it comes to fighting.
The Veemon then raise his two index finger in a gun-like gesture. A ball of energy started to formed on his finger tips, radiating a bright orange. "Vee Shot!" Aiming at the Monodramon, he shot two beams energy towards him that strung out into multiple different beams. Not very projectile like, but this was Vee here; nothing about him was basic. Some of the beams would be easy to telegraph for Solomon, but can he dodge all of them?
Gummy meanwhile used his wings to fly upwards as his brother was dishing out attacks. Regardless if the Monodramon managed to dodge all the beam attacks or not, he'll have him to worry about. Enlarging his hammer tail, he dived towards Solomon ready to strike him, with his flaming tail having his name on it!
Combat Log: Vee fires off Vee Shot at Solomon as the first move. -Vee Shot: Channeling energy from within, Vee raises his index fingers and thumbs in a gun-like gesture and shoot beams of energy from his finger tips.
Gummy attacks Solomon after Vee with Jacked Hammer -Jacked Hammer:Swings down his super-sized Shippodzuchi down on the enemy while jumping to introduce them to into the ground or performing a forward handspring to jump high when traversing. Two-post cooldown.

Two opponents, one bold and no-nonsense, the other more relaxed. He will need yo keep his wits up if he intended to overcome the odds. And they started things off by using their advantage, splitting their formation and attacking him from two directions. Veemon, it seemed, was going for a spreadshot, while Gumdramon came from above with a downward slam. Solomon focussed. He was fast, but the coordinated attack meant that avoiding damage was impossible. Analysing the situation, he made a decision. He did not try hard to avoid the Veeshot, instead trying to position himself correctly. Then, as Gumdramon descended, he avoided the hammer via a quick backwards dash, and answered the downward motion of the dragon with a Crack Knuckle uppercut. His purple skin had singe marks where the Veeshot hit. He looked at the two. "Your teamwork is quite impressive. If you win, I can see you go far."
Solomon takes damage from the Veeshot, but avoids the Jacked Hammer. Solomon uses Crack Knuckle on Gumdramon: Monodramon uses its speed to charge at an enemy and deck them in the face hard. Never used from where the enemy can't see him

To Vee's surprise, the Monodramon decided to tank the multiple energy beams he shot out. He was sure that he was going to dodge them at first due to being easy to read. No matter. This was still good since he was still gauging his opponent.
Gummy's attack on the other hand missed the mark as Solomon dashed backwards. Before he could tighten his fist and pressed onward with his assault, he was suddenly met with a fast, clean uppercut to the chin. The attack propelled a good couple feet upward. Rather than reeling in pain, a toothy grin appeared on the Gumdramon's face. He used his wings, quickly recovering from the blow and landing right to the side of his brother.
Hearing from him that their teamwork was impressive, Gummy returned the favor. "That was a mean uppercut. You certainly aren't a pushover; that's a relief."
The two then began to charge at Solomon. But instead of attacking one by one, they decided to attack together. Gummy started to speed ahead of his brother. Using his tail hammer, he stretch it out and aimed at his legs, attempting to pound on his legs and trip him. Seeing as how his gimmick so far was speed, it was best to target his legs.
But that's not all, Vee followed up with a powerful right hook. "Vee Knockout!" With his fist radiating an orange glow, he aimed it at Solomon's face.
Combat Log:
Gummy gets hit from Solomon's Crack Knuckle. Gummy uses Ran-gun Break, aiming it at Solomon's legs, attempting to pound on his legs a couple of times and trip him. Vee then attacks with Vee Knockout, aiming to deck Solomon in the face.
-Ran-gum Break: Uses his Shippodzuchi and frails it in all directions when surrounded. One-post cooldown.
-Vee Knockout: Concentrates his strength into one fist to deliver a knockout punch. Often used for finishers. Two post cool down.
Cooldown/s: Jacked Hammer: one cooldown remaining.

Again, his opponents were teaming up on him. That's unfair, some people might think. But to Solomon, they were merely using their tactical advantage. He had his own, he just had to make proper use of them. He adopted a boxing stance to ready his feet for nimble actions, then he made his wings glow in a metallic sheen. "Wing Slicer." Like a blade dancer, he whirled around. His first slash was for Gumdramon. His upward wing slice was to divert the tail hammer, and in the best case scenario also hurt him. The second slash was for Veemon. Bringing his other wing up, he met the knock out punch with his glowing wing blade. Sparks flew as the blue dragon's punch put heavy pressure on Solomon's wings. His blue eyes met Veemon's as he put all his might into parrying the punch. Sure, this would hardly harm Veemon, but getting hit point blank by a punch of such magnitude would be the opposite of good.
Solomon uses Wing Slicer twice: Monodramon uses his wings like blades, and slices the foe. Never used from where the enemy can't see him.

Man, their opponent was one tough S.O.B. Since they outnumbered the Monodramon 2-1, it didn’t seem like it mattered to him. Heck he even went in to a boxer’s stance to prove that He was doing a very good job managing under the relentless pressure of the two brothers. But the fight was only getting started!
The first slash from the wing-appendages on his arms parried Gummy’s hammer attack, but the Gumdramon expected that. Using the perfectly timed block to his advantage, he slightly propelled himself upward with his wing, avoiding the slash that was aimed at him.
As for Vee, his powered punch would meet the Monodramon glowing wing blade, locking the two of them into a clash. Sparks began to fly all around them as the Vee forced all of his might to best his opponent with brute strength.
The standstill would come to a stalemate as the two attacks were evenly matched. Vee would step back a couple of spaces, blowing his hand since it was smoking hot from the sheer force of the clash. A couple of scratches then and there, but nothing that he can’t shake off.
Gummy would use this short pause to stretch his tail out, wrapping it around the Monodramon tight. Seeing this, Vee would use this opportunity to keep up the assault.
“Vee Headbutt!” He aimed to knock back the Monodramon in the head with an intense headbutt.
Combat Log: Gummy narrowly dodges Solomon’s Wing Slicer after his attack was parried.
Vee’s Vee Knockout met with Solomon’s second Wing Slicer attack, putting them in a clash until the two attacks came to a stalemate.
Gummy attempts to wrap his tail around Solomon to temporarily immobilize him. Vee attacks Solomon with Vee Headbutt.
-Vee Headbutt: Charges at the opponent to unleash a powerful headbutt. One post cool down.
Cooldown/s: Jacked Hammer has cooled down.

Of course Solomon needed to be at his A Game to stand a chance. He was outnumbered. Even if his opponents were weaker, the strategic advantage of pincer attacks and teamwork was nothing to sneeze at. And the two brothers showed their great teamwork potential once again as Gumdramon attempted to immobilize Solomon with his tail while Veemon used a headbutt attack. Again, Solomon had to use his speed to try and dodge, but the Gumdramon was fast, too, and managed to ensnare his ankle, keeping him in the path of the headbutt. It seemed that he had to multitask now to not feel the brunt of the headbutt. He lifted one arm towards Veemon, whose wing began to glow in a black light. This black light then shot as a beam towards the charging Veemon. With his other hand, Solomon attempted to punch Gumdramon wherever he could reach, so he would let him go.
Solomon uses Shadow Wing on Veemon: Monodramon gathers oncoming darkness in his wing and shoots it as a black beam of energy at an opponent. Using this tires him out.
Solomon then uses Crack Knuckle on Gumdramon: Monodramon uses its speed to charge at an enemy and deck them in the face hard. Never used from where the enemy can't see him

"Uh oh." That was all Vee could say before he was blasted back by the Monodramon's energy beam. He was send back a good couple of feet, but thankfully, not close to the edge of the arena. If there's two things he didn't want to do, he didn't want to give Justice a near heart attack, or leave Gummy alone in the arena to fend for himself. Getting up on his feet, a wide grin appeared on his face; their opponent was pretty resourceful and cunning if he could take on the two of them at once.
As that happened, Gummy extended both of his paws and blocked the punch from the Monodramon. Seeing as though he had his tail wrapped around his ankle, Gummy flew up some more above the arena. Once he was high enough, Gummy unwrapped his tail, letting him fall into the arena.
Seeing this, Vee would rush to where the Monodramon was going to land, and with that, he extended his foot to kick him back into the air. If it connected, he would give him a barrage of consecutive kicks. Gummy, who was still in the air, would enlarge his tail once more, dive-bombing towards the Monodramon who was stuck in his brother's kick barrage. Finishing off their assault, the dragon twins would combine their attacks in a downward thrust, attempting to send their opponent crashing into the ground.
Combat Log: Vee gets knock back by Solomon's Shadow Wing.
Gummy flies above the arena, with his tail still ensnared around Solomon's ankle. He then dropped him into the arena.
Vee then attacks with Hopping Kick, kicking Solomon upwards and delivering a series of kick attacks. While doing that, Gummy divebombs from the air with Jacked Hammer. With that, Gummy and Vee combine their attacks, delivering a finishing combo together.
- Hopping Kick: First kicks an enemy into the air, then jumps to deliver a barrage of concentrated kicks before kicking them to the ground. Two post cool down.
-Jacked Hammer: Swings down his super-sized Shippodzuchi down on the enemy while jumping to introduce them to into the ground or performing a forward handspring to jump high when traversing. Two-post cooldown.
Cooldown/s: Vee Headbutt- 1/2 cooldown. Ram-gun Break - Been cooled down (forgot to mention it in a previous post lol)

In his basic Rookie form, Solomon was not a good flier. He could glide a bit, but his wings were mostly used for offensive. As such, being lifted into the air by Gummy left him rather helpless. He was also helpless to avoid the fall, but managed to cross his arms to block the worst of the kicks. Still, he was tossed about like a ragdoll. If he kept this up, he'd surely lose. So, he had to mix things up. As he was catapulted back up, he was enveloped in black light, and his shape changed. Once the light faded, he had to digivolved into Devidramon. But rather than attack, he used his wings and speed to avoid the hammer, landing nearby. He looked at Gummy, and shook his head. "Tsk, exploiting someone's weaknesses is a smart move, but exploiting the fact an opponent cannot fly, that is a bit too underhanded for my tastes." He crossed his arms. "Regardless, please, do digivolve to your next level. I want to keep this fight fair."
Solomon blocks most of Vee's kicks, preventing most damage but rendering himself unable to dodge.
Solomon digivolves to Devidramon and waits for his opponents to digivolve, themselves.

When it came to working together, Vee and Gummy teamwork when it came to fighting was impervious. It was what Justice described to be "the perfect synergy" since they were relentless when it came to pincer attacks. Before the two could deliver the finishing blow to their sting of attacks, a black light suddenly enveloped their opponent, dodging their attacks in the process. Landing on the black rubber floor, the twins looked up and saw that the Monodramon had evolved into a Devidramon, a dark dragon digimon with four red eyes, elongated arms, and slightly tattered wings. Looks like he got tired of being pushed around and was starting to take things seriously. Rather than using this opportunity to attack them, the Devidramon decided to scold Gummy for exploiting the Digimon's pervious weakness, in which Gummy scoffed at him. "I don't give a damn what you think is fair for your tastes!" Gummy grunted. "In a real fight, you use everything in your arsenal to win, regardless if it's fair or not." "Cool it badmon." Vee nudged the Gumdramon with his foot. Gummy gritted his jaw in response but slowly calmed down. He turned to his opponent. "You're right; it is a bit unfair that you had little to no defense against that kind of tactic. So from now on, he'll keep it fair, right Gummy?"Gummy growled under his breath, something inaudible that sounded like a series of curse words. "Yeah, sure, whatever."Taking the Devidramon's advice, Vee turn to where Justice was, signaling him that it was time to take it to the next level. With a nod, Justice's D-Watch began to light up into a flash of orange shimmer, the energy then shot itself at the two brothers through the barrier, enveloping them in orange light. "Veemon, digivolve to...ExVeemon!" "Gumdramon, digivolve to...Arresterdramon!"At once, the Champion forms of the two brothers were on the scene, now deciding to give it their all as well. But since their opponent had been so kind to let them evolve without interruptions or sneak attacks, they got into their combat ready stance, inviting the Devidramon to come at them. It was only fair since they've been giving him such a hard time. Combat Log: Vee and Gummy both digivolve to ExVeemon and Arresterdramon respectively!

The Devidramon watched, and nodded as the two digivolved. And, upon seeing their combat stances, he put two fingers to the corners of his mouth to make himself smile. A gesture that looked terrifying, but it was clear that he meant it appreciative. They were repaying his fairness in kind. Well, he shan't disappoint.
His nails glowed red as he dashed at Vee. Vee, he recognised, was a valiant opponent, like him. He would enjoy clashing blades with him. But Gummy, he knew, was a bit of a trickster. He would exploit the closeness of a melee fight to grab an advantage. So, he spat a burst of black lightning at Gummy, to keep him on his toes while he clashed with his brother. But, his chivalry being both a blessing and a curse, he made sure that Gummy could see the blast coming.
Solomon uses Crimson Nails on Vee: Devidramon attacks with its red nails. He is adept enough at it to substitute them for blades.
Solomon uses Dark Gale on Gummy: Devidramon shoots a stream of black lightning at an opponent.

The champion forms of the twins now in place, they immediately leaped in opposite directions, preparing to take the fight to the next level now that the warm-up was done and they got a feel for their opponent. The glowing, sharp nails aimed at the ExVeemon as the Devidramon swooped in. Each attack from the Devidramon was barely dodge since his speed was still retained in his champion form, two of the strikes cutting Vee on the shoulder. Red data streams began to seep out as he cover it up with his hand. The bolt of crackling, black lightning aimed at Gummy, who barely dodged by slide stepping out of the way since it was coming at such breakneck speeds. He could have dodged it stylishly if he could use his wings, but he promised to not use them since their opponent couldn't fly. "Tch! How cumbersome." He said to himself. A smile escaped from the ExVeemon in response. This is what he liked: the feeling of being pressured into a corner, his opponent not giving a chance for either of them to retaliate. Something about it started to make him feel excited. With a forward thrust of his leg, Vee boot kicked, nailing Devidramon in the chest so that their could be some distance between them Without a moment's pause, he dashed forward, his fists igniting into hands of flame. "Searing Fists!" He bellowed. He rushed, and attacked with precise, well judged punches, each one shooting out small infernos that exploded on contact with the Devidramon. After that, the Arresterdramon would then capitalize on his special move, a move at which was his first time using since he acquired this form. "Prism Garrett!" Multiple clones of himself started to surround the Devidramon in a circle, each of them , including himself rushing to slash him with their Tail Anchor. Combat Log:Vee retaliates Solomon's strikes with Searing Fists.Gummy then follows up with Prism Garrett, creating multiple illusions of himself aiming to slash at him from all directions.
- Searing Fists: Vee's fists become covered in flames. He attacks slowly, but with a massive amount of force, and each swipe blasts the opponent with mini infernos. Two-post cooldown.
- Prism Garrett: Creates illusions of himself that surrounds and slash the opponent at once. Causes moderate Bleeding Effect (Damage over Time) that lasts for three turns. Three-post cool down.
Combat Passive: Dragon's Armor - Gummy's rubberized battle armor is very durable, giving him a 30% defensive boost against projectiles attacks. [/i][/div] Active Passive:"I'm Getting Excited!":Due to his love for fighting, Vee's fighting spirit skyrockets, boosting his strength by 30%. Lasts for three turns. Four-post cooldown. Cooldown/s:Vee Headbutt - 2/2 cooled down.

Once again, his opponents were banking on their big advantage, and split up. And at the Champion level, they were bound to pull even more complex maneuvers, as evident from Gummy's and Vee's moves becoming more pressing. Cutting gashes into Vee briefly shocked Solomon, but he quickly pulled himself together. He -was- told this could happen. Before getting chest kicked, Solomon could only say "Come to us after the fight, and we will take care of that." That chest kick pushed the air out of his lungs, but he only allowed himself to briefly be disoriented. After all, Gummy and Vee were taking him into a vicegrip. Gummy was rushing at him from all sides, while Vee rushed him with a burning punch. Desperate times demanded desperate measures. Solomon flew into the air, hoping to avoid the two attacks, and created a sphere of black light above himself. From it, he called down a beam of black light, hoping to maybe hit the two of them after the dodge. If this did not work, he would be too fatigued to keep fighting in such a vicegrip. This attack takes a lot out of him.
Solomon attempts to avoid the vicegrip maneuver by flying up.
Solomon uses Anomalous Light: Devidramon calls forth a black light from the heavens to attack an opponent. Virus types take heavy damage. Devidramon must rest after using it.
