Cassie was undoubtedly a good girl. It had been a long time since Amelie had met somebody so vivacious; whether inadvertently or not, she was sure that the Gomamon X would maintain the team in high spirits. While the brunette wasn't part of KIZNA, those sincere gestures surely made her feel like she was. Being robbed of the ability to stand up was just a small price to pay for that.
Luckily, Ophelia would come to her rescue soon enough. "No need to apologize! No harm was done, except a sore behind maybe. But I'll survive, I promise!" That comment was accompanied by a small bout of laughter; probably quite the show for everyone who had been observing. "Don't worry, I'm fine. The healing might come in handy in the future, though! I'm not exactly a graceful fighter, so I tend to get injured a lot when things get personal. I'll be counting on you!"
And, considering their current lineup, it seemed like she'd be at the front of the team as well; quite probably, with Bu's evolved form and maybe with Fuu's, depending on what the Dorumon became. Now that everyone seemed to be ready, it was probably time to go. Amy began to ready herself when, out of the blue, a pink Renamon appeared; it seemed like she was the last member they had been waiting all this time?
"Hi." She greeted cheerfully. Her appearance had been quite convenient, but it wasn't like Amelie would complain about it. "Guess we're ready to go now? Let's get started." Soon enough the entire group found themselves underwater, slowly advancing towards Elysium Depths while hearing Yuuki's report; thus far, there didn't seem to be anything overly weird, but fighting this early into their quest seemed like something they'd rather avoid, if able. So...
"We can try searching for an alternate entrance before picking a fight with the Seadramons. Alternatively, I can turn everyone invisible for a short period of time so we can sneak in, but that'll only work if the Seadramons primarily depend on their sight to track us; if their other senses are sharp enough, it won't do any good."
Those were the options she could offer at the moment. The only question at the moment was on whether the others would choose from there, or add their own options to the pool of what they could do to get inside the city.

While Amy was saved from the clutches of a Gomamon X that was too strong for her own good, the group awaited their final member, who finally appeared from a sudden puff of smoke. The tardy sister, Hasenya. Bu wasted no time in walking over to the fox and giving her a welcome noogie.
"...Yes, we do seem ready to go." Fuu noted, idly so. As they descended into the depths, they were quickly confronted with some actually HUGE Seadramon. "...Alright, I know what that one is." Yui uttered, quietly. "Honestly? I'm for finding an alternate entrance, or some way around these guys. Though, what...would an alternate entrance down here be?"
"A variety of things." Fuu interjected. "A cave, a passageway...Only problem is we need to keep our heads down. Should be easy enough..." Bu, silent up till then, then opted to make her own addition. "...I could try organizing a diversion with my Ginryumon form's Mirror Image if that might work?"
...Another option. Huh.

Amy's reassurance seemed to be enough to get Cassie to brighten back up; the Gomamon-X eagerly nuzzling against her leg, her short stubby tail (and her backside by extension, much like before) wiggling happily. "I'll try my best, then!" She'd promise Amy in response; adding "I've been practicing as much as I can, in preparation for this!"
Ophelia and Cassie would both jump briefly in surprise as Hasenya appeared out of nowhere, though; with a little bit of pyrotechnics to match. As the surprise faded, though... Ophelia couldn't help but grin widely, reaching over to pull Hasenya into a headlock, giving the small Renamon a playful noogie! "Hey, ya brat! How've ya been??" She'd chirp in a teasing, playful fashion; tail swishing. Cassie, too, would giggle to Hasenya, waving a flipper and joking "You look like you've been running a marathon, 'Senya!"
At Yuuki's questioning, Ophelia would nod. "Yeah - I figure that here'd be a safe checkpoint, as good of a place as any!" She'd mention - gesturing Cassie over to pass the supplies that she had bought to her, and to show Cassie how to use the Ariadne's Thread. Once it was set to the ship, so that Cassie could use it to return here with the team as necessary, the little Gomamon-X would move to get ready to go - the two nuzzling each other before she set off.
Before they'd go, though... Ophelia would take the time to give Bu a brief nuzzle and embrace; softly purring "You guys be safe," to the Ryudamon, before the group set off on their mission, into the water below...
... Though Cassie was - admittedly - unused to deep-sea diving, the little seal seemed to take to it quite easily; giggling softly as she simply enjoyed the feeling of the warm waters around them, the feeling of the currents brushing by. Her body was practically made for it, in a way that Amy (at least as a human) and Yui weren't made for, nor were Fuu or Bu, likely. As a result, she moved thru the waters with comparatively more ease; allowing herself to drift about, using her flippers to adjust her course as necessary. "It's so niiice, down here~" She'd purr to herself with a certain relaxed glee, occasionally checking the Atmosphere Analyzer that she had gotten from the Advanced Exploration Kit as she went, to get used to using it.
She had almost forgotten about the fact that they were here on a mission, in fact, until Hikaru's voice begun chiming in thru the drone! She'd briefly squeak in surprise, before standing (or would it be swimming?) to attention, to listen to what Hikaru had to say regarding the water around them, as well as of the ExD Seadramon that lurked amongst the buildings below. Cassie couldn't help but feel a little nervous at the notion - given that in glancing at the Seadramon in question, she could see that there were multiple of them, and that they were pretty large and mean-looking!
Everyone had different ideas for how to deal with the beasts in question; and she, personally, was eager to find an alternative to fighting them up-close. Thinking it all over, Cassie would eventually speak up next; murmuring "Well... I don't know how good their hearing and whatnot is, but... If their primary sense is scent, then we should be alright as long as we stay downwind - or, I guess, downcurrent - and don't get too close to them. It'll carry our scents away from the Seadramon that way, not towards them. This analyzer thing can read the currents, too; so I bet we can use it to help figure out a safe path!"
And as far as making a diversion went... "A diversion sounds like it'd help, too; though it might agitate them and put them on the alert, in case other intruders are in their territory, so... I suppose that should only be used as an emergency." It still sounded like everyone had some really good ideas, though! Cassie would pull out her D-Nexus alongside the Atmosphere Analyzer, taking the time to figure out if the D-Nexus' mapping feature would reveal any alternate paths, as well as cross-reference the currents to whatever it could map.
But, she almost forgot that Hasenya hadn't put in her two cents yet, either! Glancing to the Renamon briefly, Cassie would ask "What do you think of all this, 'Senya?"

Seemed tardy fox's were getting a two for one deal on the playful noogies today. The Renamon's tail wagged for a brief moment, showing that she did appreciate all the affection and teasing even if she did grumble a protest or two to being put into a headlock. "Ah- oof.. Hey!" She'd expected a response kind of like this and she was glad to see that she wasn't completely wrong. Once she was freed she shook herself off to sort of fix her fur, though it seemed just as messy before and after Ophelia and Bu got a hold of her. "I was asleep! I didn't have an alarm set.." They admitted a bit sheepishly, smiling at Hikaru. This also sort of answered Ophelia's question.
Hasenya looked at Amelie and tilted her head curiously, one ear giving a flick to better express that. She wasn't certain if they were a new person to KIZNA and that they simply hadn't met each other before, or if she should really start coming out of her room more. Either way, she gave a little wave back.
Hasenya had never been much of a swimmer, though she wasn't incapable of it. Being a primarily fire Digimon this deep under the water though had her feeling just a little bit foggy, in an odd sort of way. Otherwise she was completely fine, though she probably wouldn't be able to make too much use of her more fiery abilities while this deep underwater.. So much for a chance to let her Youkomon form let off some steam? It would just have to be a disadvantage she worked around.
She listened carefully to Yuuki, nervously glancing towards the massive Seadramon now and again while she tried to think up a way how she would even handle that worst case confrontation. "Hmmh..." The fox grumbled, a bit unsettled by that idea. They'd be completely useless in a situation like that- well, perhaps not entirely But nowhere near as much as they felt they could be. When Cassie spoke to her she glanced back at them and shrugged. "I have no experience with underwater places like this and the way you explained stuff made plenty sense even to me, so I think you got it pretty well covered. Though if it's a distraction we need I've got Flashfire Phantom."

"Cave is it?" this time Yuuki's voice came out from the communicator "Based on current situation, sadly you're in open sea. The drone has not found any underground hole or something that might lead to the sea over there... Digging might be risky, considering that the impact would lead to Seadramons noticing your position..."
...There's also something different with the Seadramons. They let out what looked like electricity now and then as they swims around. Rather than sea dragons, they looked more like electric eel-dragon. Thankfully, Cassie's Atmosphere Analyzer shows that they're currently blessed because the waves are blowing from their front rather than their back. Will the tide change later? No idea, but for now they're safe.
They'll get hampered most likely, by the tide if they decide to swim forward...
"There are several ways," Hikaru's voice rang again from the communicator "The Seadramon is on the bottom, and there are tall buildings all over... most likely if you can get to one entry point, like the windows or the roof, you might be able to get inside the building complex easier... however, it's risky because you might get detected somehow..."
"...The other way is to circle the place... might end up wasting time, however..." Yuuki commented.
At this point, the Seadramons released another wave... and what looks like rocks on the ocean floor seem to absorb it, thus nulling the effect somewhat. They're big enough for a child stage to hide behind... but the Seadramons seem to be viciously attacking the rocks...
...What should they do?

Everyone had proposed ideas on how to get past the Seadramons. Either a distraction, or going stealthily through them, or even taking a detour. There was merit to all of them. What would be the group's eventual decision? It was a hard one, but now that all the choices were on the table, and even considering that Yuuki piped up to propose an alternate route, Amelie guessed it was time to decide.
After a pensive hum, she spoke. "I think that taking the detour and circling the place is the best choice we can make. We don't know what these Seadramons are capable of, and if we swim fast enough, we won't lose that much time. Figure we'll eventually be able to learn what these guys are capable of, and we'll be able to avoid them more easily on the way out. Sucks to take the long route in a time-sensitive trip, but... otherwise, we're basically taking a gamble that could have disastrous results. At least those are my thoughts regarding this."
The brunette understood she wasn't the leader of this expedition, and that her word probably wasn't worth as much as a proper KIZNA member's, but that didn't stop her from voicing her thoughts out. Whether the outcome of how they would advance was decided by everyone voting or by somebody temporarily assuming the mantle of leader, that was fine as well for her. What did everyone think, now that all their options had been laid out? That'd be interesting to hear.

Right, taking the detour would be a good idea, except they didn't know what lay on that detour, did they? Either way, it was likely a better idea than dealing with overinflated Seadramon. "So, to minimize the time wasted, we just need to get to the detour and through it before getting into a building on the other side, right?" Yui theorized. It was mostly spitballing, but she really did agree with Amelie. Though...
She hadn't been here before. She wasn't sure if she was making a mistake or not. It seemed like Amy had more knowledge here than she did. "Whatever we do do, though, we need to keep our heads down. Hasenya, Cassie, what do you guys think?" Fuu offered. Bu was meanwhile still keeping watch.
...They should probably make their decision quick, too.

Cassie would quietly watch as the Seadramon would let off pulses of electricity, here and there, as they swam about - watching the way that the electricity arced off of them as well as towards the rocks below them. All the whilst, Yuuki and Hikaru's voices would chime in from the communicator drone, and the others around her would discuss how to get around the Seadramon; chiming in with their different thoughts.
Personally, Cassie wasn't too afraid of the possibility of the currents changing; after all, the rise and fall of the tide was a gradual one - not a sudden one. They'd likely have ample warning if the currents would begin to change, to similarly move accordingly, yeah? On the other hand, that there weren't really any caves seemed to pose a bit of a problem in getting past the Seadramon, and to use an access point thru a building seemed risky... She didn't want to get into a fight - she was only a Rookie, after all, and fighting meant that it was likely that other digimon in the area would become agitated, or even join in!
As a result, upon being prompted for her opinion by Fuu, Cassie would blink a bit to attention - before nodding in agreement with Amelie. "I think that a detour, and circling around, would be a good idea..." She'd murmur, staring out at the Seadramon once more. "If we fight, it's possible that the sounds, signals, or the smell of liquid data might agitate other digimon into being on the alert, or even joining in... It'd probably also waste time we could be using searching, and... Even if I'm a medic, as a Rookie, I can only do so much to heal everyone's wounds..."
She'd frown a bit at this - thinking back to the training session that Ophelia had with Skadi and Valt, when they all first met. Whilst Skadi and Ophelia were champions, her own healing didn't do much beyond taking the edge off of the wounds. Maybe she should've gotten one of the salves, too, before they left...?
... As Cassie further pondered this, though; something would draw her attention. She'd watch the Seadramon further - watching as, after the rocks absorbed another pulse of electricity, one of the Seadramon began... Attacking it directly? The little Gomamon blinked again - trying to logic out why they were doing this, not that she was able to come to a satisfying conclusion - before glancing to the others. "Is it just me, or... Are the Seadramon attacking the rocks? Why are they doing that? Are they clearing out their territory, or... are trying to hunt or scavenge for food?"

Hasenya was much more comfortable with the idea of finding another entrance, either through windows or roof like what had been suggested. "A distraction would probably just alert these guys to someone being in their territory, anyway. Even if it worked they'd be all cautious and.. yeah." The Renamon twitched an ear. She felt like she was just stating the obvious at that point, honestly.
She was sort of tempted to bring up how she wouldn't be able to go up into Champion while they were under water, though that joke may be in pretty poor taste. Hasenya could definitely understand wishing one was better at something. There would be other times to pick a bit of fun at her affinity towards fire, and thus an innate weakness towards water. "Detour is a good plan, yeah. I like the whole idea of looking for a different entrance just in general." Hasenya agreed, never once taking her gaze away from the Seadramon and its odd behavior.
Cassie asked a good question though. Hasenya wouldn't have thought of it herself, since she was more focused on whether or not the Seadramon would look their way and spot them. "My guess is the former? Though I know almost nothing about how Seadramon normally behave, so..." The Renamon shrugged.

Time might be an issue, but it's seem that the group decided that they will do it the safe way. Smart, if only because apparently Hikaru's voice chimed out next after they decided to go on a detour.
"Previous data just recently arrived... it's seem that ExD Seadramon has mutated in a way that increase their aggressiveness. This is coupled with its ability to apparently shocks any nearby object and Digimon has become their natural method to seek out prey and enemies alike. Unfortunately I don't know what happened down there either. Perhaps it saw the rocks as its opponent?
Anyway... now that you decide to detour... I don't suggest to get too high... I'm reading several hostile signs up there..."
True enough, around the tallest building, there are several what looked like metal sharks. They're completely metalized. Some seem to be rusting, but there seem to be no downgrade on their speed at all... in fact, it looked to be like pack's alpha?
"...as long as you stayed down, you might be able to avoid them..."
Now the question is, would they go to the left or the right? The left side seem to be full of more ruined buildings, easier entry, but seem to be far from research buildings (Amelie would remember them as spherical building) and data centers (really tall buildings). The right side have more chance encounter with the shark Digimons (which apparently are ExD Tylomons) due to increase of altitude in sea bed. However, there are several hiding spots in form of corals and anemones. They're also closer to data centers and research buildings. The two buildings might not be pertaining to Ys (considering difference in architecture)... but regardless, the left and the right are valid entry point. Which will the group take?

Overall? It seemed like everyone agreed with Amy's reasoning regarding taking the longer route, even going as far as to state their own opinions regarding it. And, of course, most of those points were perfectly valid; it was a good thing that the group thought more or less in the same way regarding these decisions, mostly because that also meant everyone valued the group's safety more than the faster option.
"I agree. Alerting the Seadramons is probably the last thing we wanna do if we want to get out of this place in one piece. I have no idea why they're behaving like that, however..."
Luckily, a timely interruption was enough to clarify the situation and clear any misunderstandings the group might have. Apparently these Sedramons were extremely aggresive; they had even chosen to attack a rock formation on a whim! Seemed like it was atop their priority list to try and dodge them if able, given that behavior. Additionally, further instructions and yet another choice was placed in front of them. What would the group decide? Left or right?
"We have more chances of finding what we want in the rightmost path, methinks. All agree to go in that direction?" Right now, that seemed like the correct choice for the team, considering that the buildings they were looking for reminisced what was ahead. Sure, looked more dangerous, but not by a lot; there were plenty of hiding spaces and, at least for now, the group's members seemed to be rather small and agile. They could use that for their advantage in such a situation.
"Let's move carefully. Everyone ready?" The majority seemed to support that decision, so the next logical thing to do was beginning to swim in that direction, all while trying to not be noticed by any potential enemies and remaining alert towards their surroundings.
With any luck, everything would go well.

Why -were- they behaving like that? Yui and Fuu's first guess was that the virus they were afflicted with also affected behavior patterns to that extent. Which was understandable, really. That momentary interruption from Hikaru was able to provide some needed clarification, as well.
So, they needed to keep their heads down if they wanted to pursue this detour. "Good point..." Bu noted towards Hasenya. Either way, everybody was ready, so Yui and the twins started to swim in the same direction as Amelie, albeit very carefully in order to prevent the Seadramon from noticing them.
They also made sure to keep their heads down. "...Keep an eye out--We could probably hide in some of these coral beds." Yui noted.

Huhm... Cassie would make a soft, curious sound as she observed the ExD Seadramon drifting about, whilst they swam away; watching the digimon as they'd attack the rocks that absorbed their electricity. Much as how Hikaru theorized that they might see the rocks as opponents, she couldn't help but agree; if they relied upon percieving thru their own electrical pulses as opposed to their eyes or nose, then it's possible that anything that absorbs that electricity stood out to them as potential prey...
Regardless though, as Hikaru pointed out the hostile signs - Tylomon, of the ExD variety - Cassie would snap back to attention; trying to eyeball the digimon that swam up above. They looked rather formidable - much like the Seadramon before - prompting the little Gomamon-X to huddle closer to Amelie for safety and comfort. Left or right; it was certainly something that Cassie couldn't help but wonder, given that both had their own upsides and downsides... As Amelie suggested going right though, Cassie would nod briefly. "Ah... Yeah!" She'd chirp; her optimism starting to shine thru once more. "You probably know more about this area, so I'll follow your lead here, Amy!"
With that, Cassie would be following Amelie closely; occasionally glancing to her Atmosphere Analyzer to stay aware of things such as the currents around them, and ducking in and out of the coral as necessary.

Hasenya was real glad sneaking was something she happened to be real good at. No good chance of her getting the team caught, which helped to restore a bit of her confidence after her entrance from before. "It's definitely the last thing we should do. I'm too far out of my element.." Hasenya muttered, nodding her head in agreement. She did wonder what good her weapons would do against these mutated Seadramon, though.
Maybe being bright pink in the water wouldn't be so bad, given some of the colors coral could come in. It remained to be seen though, but Jesmon Christ Mode would she hate if her color of all things were the reason they got spotted. With all her worry about it, one might wonder why she even chose to come. In truth, she had plenty of other means of protecting herself and others.. Just none she was particularly confident in, regardless of real efficiency.
They swam along with the group, still sort of getting used to swimming this deep under water but still keeping up the pace despite that. The coral made for a really good hiding spot given the different colors, though she still felt a good bit anxious about getting caught.

The coral bed... If any of the crew are interested in architecture, surely they'll find a bit of resemblance with one in Ys. However, these coral beds are not enough of an evidence for how related the two spots are. Perhaps if they saw something more ingenious to Ys, they might find "copy" of Ys. That however have to wait, as the ExD Tylomon above seem to be alerted by something.
"Warning, a detection ability that may cause failure of the mission was detected. This drone will enter offline mode. Please manually reactivate in safe place," the drone's mechanical voice resounded on the communicator.
Following this, the drone that Hikaru operated suddenly stopped. There's no response from it. At the same time, the Tylomon that previously looking at the party doesn't seem to notice them anymore. However, this means the drone are sinking. Someone most likely have to carry them...
Either way, the coral place looks like a maze. It's unlikely that the Tylomon, being as big as they are, could fit inside... but on the other hand, it seems the network spreads quite far. Thank goodness for D-Nexus though, they could pretty much know where they're going without being lost at all.
And that's when they would see the data center building. It's the tallest building there, and is about ten minutes swimming from their position. There are some Seadramons, but at most just one or two per district, rather than a group of it like on the entrance.
...However should they still decide to swim farther, they would see that actually there are differing sectors... They're spread farther than they thought. They're also inclining deeper, which means the enemies will be more dangerous. Would the team decide to enter the building first, or will they just deep deeper anyway, knowing the data center most likely does not hold information pertaining to Ys due to difference in structure?
