The new route had been decided pretty quickly, thankfully. The instructions were rather clear; keep your head down, use the coral bed as hiding spots when necessary, and swim as near to the ocean floor as they possibly could. With that knowledge in hand, the group began their advance.
As Cassie huddled closer to her, she was given a reassuring headpat, almost as if reaffirming that everything would be fine without the need for words. "I don't know if I know a lot about this place, but... I think that's the safest route, at least in the long run. Don't be afraid of disagreeing if you feel that's not true, okay? We're in this together, and while it'd be awesome if I was right on all of my decisions, I think I'm bound to make a mistake at some point."
Hopefully not this mission, though. At least as of right now, she felt responsible for the whole group's safety, regardless of whether that was actually true or not.
As they swam, a dire message was relayed through the communicator. "A detection ability, huh? Guess we'll have to be extra careful around here and... fetch Hikaru's drone. I know it's not the most glamorous task but is anyone up to that?" If nobody offered to do it, it was a task Amy would just deal with it herself.. For now, she went in drones direction to begin its retrieval. With any luck, that'd be successful.
With that out of the way... it seemed like the group had stumbled in yet another crossroads. To keep advancing, or to temporarily divert their course towards the data center? "I don't think there are wrong choices here, but I think that going to the data center sounds like the more reasonable option at the moment. While we won't find anything pertaining Ys there, we might find something relating to the ExD species that lurk around? Might come in handy."
Honestly? Amelie wouldn't be terribly disappointed if the group just decided to keep on advancing on this one. After all, this didn't pertain to their main goal.

Huh, did Amy know more about this area? ...Well, as she just said, she wasn't sure. Still, Yui was pretty sure that whatever conclusions or judgements they could make regarding this place would be well thought out considering there's about 6 heads here to plan stuff out with. Bu went to go cover Amy in her grabbing of the drones while they proceeded onwards--Fuu noted how the Tylomon seemed to stop noting their presence the further they went.
"Definitely the data center." Fuu nodded. If it was a data center then it obviously had information, and that was very literally what they had came for, information gathering. Even if it wasn't the specific brand of info they needed for the mission, Fuu felt like it'd help. And even though Yui and Bu looked quite unsure about this...
"...C'mon, you two wanna learn about the chunky Seadramon?" Fuu whispered as she went to follow Amy with the other two in tow.

The headpat seemed to help Cassie relax visibly; the little Gomamon X nuzzling Amelie's hand in response, with a small wiggle of her tail. It'd be okay; she wasn't alone in this, after all...! Cassie would still remain close to Amelie's side, though, as they made their way through the coral; the Tylomon still had her feeling a little uneased, and the proximity to someone else helped a little in that matter...
... Though, as the drone would let out its warning and shut down, she would be unable to help a small squeak; jolting somewhat. The Tylomon above seemed to - for the briefest moment - be agitated, too, adding to her uncertainty; a detection ability certainly didn't sound good..! At least it seemed as though the drone was the only thing agitating them..?
Speaking of - Cassie would prick up at Amelie's question of fetching the drone; nodding quickly. "I can do it..!" She'd chirp softly; swimming over to the drone, and blowing a bubble around it; which she would idly roll along with her. Between the bubble's floatiness, and her own strength, hefting the drone would be an easy task for her!
Then, came the question of whether to check out the data center, or to keep going... Cassie would peer towards it, thinking things over briefly, before murmuring "I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to, at least, take a breather there - right...? I dunno if we should spend too long there, though..." To know about some of the local ExD digimon would probably be good, but if they spend too much time there, they might not be able to find anything once they go deeper down!
Regardless, though, she would follow after Amelie and co - blinking a bit in Fuu's direction, at the whisper of... "... Chunky Seadramon?" She'd question the Dorumon briefly, tilting her head.

The situation with the drone seemed pretty well-handled, and as an added bonus she wouldn't be the one doing the carrying. As it was without having to hold onto something of a decent weight she had a hard enough time keeping up the pace with her swimming, it would just be too awkward for her. "Thanks Cass." The Renamon nodded, showing appreciation for the Gomamon X's enthusiasm towards the task- sparing someone else (specifically herself) from having to do it.
"Yeah, that's a long swim. Even if we only stop there to take a break it'd still be the better thing to do, I think." Hasenya voiced her own opinion, nodding once again. She wouldn't voice any complaints if they decided to skip by the tower completely, as breaks could be taken really anywhere. The tower just seemed most convenient for it if they wanted to learn more about the weird digimon.
The way Fuu put it though, Hasenya couldn't help but be both really amused and a bit surprised she hadn't thought of that silly wayh of referring to the ExD-Seadramon sooner. "...Heck yeah I wanna learn about the chunky Seadramon." The excitable fox swam to keep up with Amy. A silly nickname was probably the last place one would expect her to get motivation to swim from, but boy howdy did it work.

The team's decision to go to the data center building was definitely a sound choice, but whether that is right or not will remain to be seen. Indeed, the building have no similarity the slightest with Ys, considering how most building in Ys are made out of wood and coral most of the time, and not concrete like this one. The Central KIZNA HQ, KIZNA operative base (not the Sanctuarium Unionis, the KIZNA GLORIA's operative base and housing) does made of concrete, but it was a complete remake of the previous building, which are more to wood and stone deal.
Either way, this one building are the standard fare in being skyscraper-sort of building. It might remind the human of something like an upside down USB disk because how it's built and how it's attached to the ground. There are smaller buildings attached to the main building, like small dome in shape. One of them seem to be breached open already--if that's the right word considering that there's practically a gaping hole on the side of the building, perhaps from attack, seeing that that side are charred. Around there, there are about two ExD Seadramon patrolling... but for some strange reason, they did not enter, only keeping watch.
The windows looks like the standard fare anti-bullet material glass, a reinforced one that could withstood the underwater pressure. It's a bit too far to check whether the building is flooded or not, but one thing for sure is that the circuit board-like ground is still lighting, and that the lines that focused on the building is still lighting up like a wave of light showing it's active.
As they're looking at the building from the side, it's unlikely for them to be able to see the entrance. From their side, they only can see the hole, how it's active, and the seadramons... but there are not that much. The D-Nexus also cannot show any holes yet... it's too far. The effective range of the mapping has yet gone that far,
...What would they do? Which way would the attempt to go to?

Chunky Seadramon or not, the main purpose of this expedition had been to learn, and learning was what Fuu wanted at the moment. With this being said, the Dorumon gestured to the two Seadramon, as if that perfectly explained what she meant by Chunky Seadramon to Cassie.
"...Huh. You can sorta tell that it's a database--Looks like an upside down USB stick." Yui muttered, quietly. "We can't go through -that- hole over there thanks to the Seadramon, so someone should scout out the other side." The woman decided, glancing to her partners. Neither of them seemed like the stealthy sort of people, but Bu's mirror image was still in the question if for some reason they wanted to just move in past the Seadramon...
"Any volunteers? Or ideas?" Yui inquired.

Everything had been going smoothly thus far. The group had managed to advance without being detected as of yet, Cassie had managed to both retrieve and carry the drone, and now they were about to enter the seemingly-out-of-place building. If it weren't for a very small detail ahead of them, that is; two Seadramons acting as guard dogs by the building's entrance. For a couple of moments, Amelie stared in disbelief at the digimons.
"I guess this means these guys are... organized, to an extent? Unless there's something I'm missing, there's no reason why they'd patrol the entrance of a building. This might be more difficult than expected."
Right now, the group was on yet another crossroads. Would they split up just for the purpose of entering this building? If they ran into yet another contingency, the detours and lost time would begin to pile up...
A sigh escaped the brunette's throat. "We can try scouting around, but we probably should give up on entering that place if that's the only available entrance. If it seems like it's too much of a waste of time, we'll just resume our previous course and drop this idea."
Amelie herself didn't have any problems with going ahead and scouting, even though splitting the group when there were potential enemies around didn't seem like the best of ideas. What a problematic situation...
"Let's do this quickly. If there are no signs of a safe passage to the insides of the building, we should just cut our losses and retreat. Who's coming with me?"
She was extremely unsure about this being the correct choice, but if the entrance was guarded, that must mean there was something worth guarding inside, right? Not to say that kind of behavior was very suspicious...
Not a lot else could be said. With any luck, this would pay out.

Hasenya's thanks would prompt a soft, sheepish, yet appreciative giggle from Cassie as she carried the drone along with her; the little Gomamon-X nodding back to the Renamon. Being able to help everyone like this - even if she wasn't the hugest fighter - was a good feeling, if she was honest. "You're doing great, 'senya; just keep at it!" She'd call back to Hasenya in encouragement; knowing that she was having a bit of an awkward time in the water, compared to someone more made for swimming, such as herself.
As they reached the data center, though... There would be a bit of a roadblock, in the form of a couple of ExD Seadramon... Cassie frowned faintly; wondering if this data center would be worth the time. They could always come here another day - considering that it hadn't taken them all that long to get here in the first place - couldn't they?
Amelie seemed to be of a similar opinion; suggesting doing a quick scouting around, but otherwise wanting to cut their losses and just move on. At the question of who would be coming with, Cassie would mention "I'll stick with you, Amy," with a warm smile - attempting to be encouraging. A small idea would occur to her, though, as she'd glance back to Hasenya. The Renamon could go invisible, right? So...
"... Though... Maybe 'Senya could sneak in, though, while we're scouting...?" Cassie would suggest; glancing down at her Atmosphere Analyzer. "The current's going this way..." She'd gesture with a point of her flipper, the current going towards the left of the building from where they were. "... So maybe, if Hasenya goes around the left of them, they won't smell or hear her, as long as she doesn't get too close..? The current would carry her scent away from them, that way, so.." She wasn't sure how solid of an idea this was, really; she'd definitely want everyone's input on it, but if they were going to split up anyways, then...

Curiosity was going to be the end of this poor Renamon if she backed off the idea now. Though there was just one problem with this plan that stuck out to her. "I assume I'd be going in alone in that case, yeah?" While it wasn't about to deter her from the idea, she still couldn't help but feel a little nervous. Honestly she was more worried about screwing something up than getting caught.. Though the two would likely tie into each other anyway.
Hasenya examined the building from a distance, looking it up and down and then to the two Seadramon guarding the one obvious entrance. She glanced to the left in the direction Cassie had previously pointed and hummed gently to herself. "I think it's better if I do go alone, now that I take a better look at things. If I couldn't turn invisible I wouldn't even bother." She nodded her head, agreeing with Amy about it not being worth it if there weren't a safe way inside.
She wasn't quite sure how to feel about this mostly self-given task of sneaking inside and finding anything useful. Maybe just a bit apprehensive, but why hesitate and not give the plan a shot when her abilities and the current would make it so much easier? "If no one is against me going in then I'm down to try. I would understand though if the majority of us weren't comfortable with me doing it alone. I'm just not sure how I could bring someone in with me."

Stealth or not (most likely stealth because Hasenya is offering), the team seem to decide to go to the building. Ignoring the ExD Seadramons might be the right way, considering that they keep discharging electricity. It might not as potent, but the team might still feel a little bit of tingly zap on their skin as they avoided the side entrance and focused to circle the building. But guess what, going against the current while circling the building, they would find the entrance is apparently still operating.
Bad news? They're gated with some key card reader. There are no one here, but... perhaps if they tried to reactivate Hikaru's drone, he might able to do something about it? But even then... They could see what inside. It's clear, and seem to be completely devoid of water, which means... dry place? Either way, if they try to look for further entry, they might find another entry point (beside the aforementioned two), but this one is a bit of a hassle. Not because it'll full of trap or require any reader... it's essentially emergency entrance. Going from here means they have to potentially take roundabout way instead of going directly there... Emergency doors are usually outfitted with alarm after all, and who knows what's in the building? But one thing for sure, it'll be definitely less risky than activating the drone... considering the Tylomon above can track the drone's communication signal.
...Which way will they take?

Amelie felt kinda proud of the group gathered around her; each person had their own strengths to provide the ensemble, and thus far, their teamwork was working fairly well. Zero complaints about their current situation, at least on that aspect.
The brunette would give a nod to both Cassie and Hasenya, fully approving on the former's plan for the latter to use her invisibility to safely scout for the whole party. "Take care, Hasenya. You have ten minutes to return; if you're not, we'll go after you."
The result? The Renamon had proven to be skillful at scouting, yet the conclusion of her trip had been relatively disheartening to hear. Basically, if they wanted to enter the building, they'd have to take one out of two highly risky routes; either reactivating the drone and risking to alert the Tylomons, or entering through an emergency exit and risking to alert the whole sector if an alarm or something of the like went off.
And, honestly? That wasn't a risk Amy was willing to take; once she had been appropriately briefed about the situation, she'd shake her head dismissively. So much for that. "I couldn't have ever been able to imagine that getting inside a place like that would be such a hassle. I don't really think that sneaking in there is worth our time anymore, especially since we're in a very tight clock, so... let's head back."
Unless everyone had an idea regarding how to traverse those dangerous obstacles with relative safety, that seemed like the only option for the group.

"I mean..." Cassie would sheepishly scratch the back of her head at Hasenya's question and nervousness, being fast to realize that this might not be the best idea. She would, as a result, quickly clarify herself as she added "It wasn't really a for-sure idea; it'd definitely be dangerous if one of them spot you! So it's fine if you don't want to do it, y'know...?" Still, even with her clarification, it seemed that Hasenya was willing to go for it; if only to scout for a safe entrance, while they all split up.
As they gathered back up, though... It seemed that their scouting didn't give much in the way of safer paths. They could either risk alerting the Tylomons, or risk sending the whole area into a frenzy by setting off an alarm from the emergency exit! Both options were... Not exactly ideal, to say the least; and she was in agreement with Amy, that this wasn't a risk worth taking.
At Amy's suggestion that they keep moving, Cassie would nod her agreement. "Yeah... I don't really know how we could get past, unless you guys have some other trick up your sleeves..." She'd muse to herself; letting out a heavy sigh. It was rather disappointing, but Cassie didn't want to get into a fight with anyone - and it wasn't like the data center was likely to have information on Ys itself, right..? Maybe a bit on this ExD stuff, but... Likely not the city itself, given its architecture.

It was probably for the best that these heccin' chonky units were avoided for the moment. Water was an excellent conductor of electricity, so they'd have a noticeable edge against the group, most likely. Either way, Hasenya had been given ten minutes to do her thing, so ten minutes they would wait.
Turns out the scouting didn't show off much, so Yui and the twins opted to once more agree with Amelie. Every moment spent being idle was wasted time, and they definitely didn't have much time on their side, did they? "Okay, so we head back and then where? Do we just take the other way?" Yui inquired as they moved. "I think a diversion would probably be one way we could get past, still, but it's...way too risky."
No idea was able to be had from the trio's end on how to traverse, so they had to head back for the moment.

As useful as her invisibility was, it wouldn't stop her from receiving a nasty shock if she dared get too close to something she shouldn't. Chonky seanoodles weren't as fun as the silly name might imply, especially after she learned about the electricity. The hidden Renamon searched as best she could with the time given, and with what limited area she had that she could safely look through there just wasn't all that much that would help reassure anybody.
Once the group was back together and she had shared her findings and then shook her head. "No use trying to get in. We don't know what's in there but it's more than likely more sparky seasnakes that are a real pain to swim around in closed spaces, or so I would imagine. I agree we should go back." Hasenya agreed with Amelie on this one.
"Nope.. No more tricks from me. None that wouldn't make a lot of noise, at least." The pink fox shook her head again. She was ready to head back when everyone else was.

Going to the head back unfortunately wasn't the right choice. The Seadramon might not notice their scent prior as the water current was shifted from the party being downstream, but now, it changed somewhat. Noticing a bit of disturbance, the Seadramons starting to move away from their "den" which was the holed part of the building. However, not all of them was going apparently, for there are at least one that's staying behind. Thankfully, they could see it from far away. Doesn't looks like those dragons can see them however.
The ExD Seadramons are heading toward the corals, where the teams were coming from. They might going to stay there for a bit while... Now the question is, what should they do that returning no longer possible? Those that gone to the reef are the two that the team seen before... while the one who just came out seem to be slightly bigger than the two. An alpha perhaps?
Regardless, if they decide to ditch and instead goes to the other direction (past the emergency stairs and to the other side of the building specificly). they'll find something... very similar to ones that attacked by ExD Seadramons. That rock that seem to attract them. Upon scanning, this data came out:
Electronethecite A strange rock that seem to absorb electricity. When it's fully powered, it's colored bright yellow, but if it's empty, it's black. Electronethecite is like a black hole to any exposed electricity, absorbing it indiscriminately. This one small rock may hold up to one adult level electric attack. A bigger one might hold three, but none could stood up completely to perfect level strength..
Looks like this is something that can be put under consideration. These items are completely black. If they decided to instead bail anyway, they'll find that behind this building is a huge ruin complexes. It's a bit of a dive down there, but they're close to their goal. Some of them might even resemble Ys as they goes further to the eastern side... but as they're currently on southern side, going it that way might be dangerous... especially when considering more and more unknown ExDs might be lurking. Amelie might notice it, but the western side was the building she gone to once.
Unlikely there are anything to loot there considering the building database has already wiped out though, but some familiarity perhaps will speak volume about what horrors can be encountered below.
