Mission Link for ReferenceJurassic Panic in Udon MuseumMembers: Zachary "Zaber" Scryer Adrian Boriker John DavisThe train roared as it left Shibuya and through to Udon-- another province of Tokyo. Many people came there, being a less urban area than bustling Shibuya and other areas that were crowded as hell with people. Still, Udon was another popular place to go, mostly for its variety of parks and museums. The school trip Zachary was placed on was one that many of the students that were required to attend. The project his school was assigned with the look at the artifacts in the Museum of Natural History and then perform a comprehensive report on the object or exhibit of choice, using that time there to gather as much information as possible. Zachary had been expected to stick with the group, but after dealing with the bullies he had on the bus-- he felt more content on his own so long as he met with the teachers at the right time. He kept with the tour but was enjoying the time he had to just look around. He was not the only school there, and plenty of other visitors who came for their own reason. For Zachary, this was one place he could personally enjoy. It was almost exactly like the Museum of Natural History back in New York. It was filled with so much that he could get lost in the culture and history of different places and past events. Of course, when he came, he didn't intend to leave out his best friend. Simply was, his own companion was elsewhere in the museum. Cloaked and invisible from the other humans, was none other than Zachary's partner Panthermon. He had traveled via hitching rides on busses or chasing after the car-- but Panthermon was able to remain undetected with his use of invisibility. The jungle cat, no longer stealthed, easily reclined on the roof of the building-- sensing Zachary as he went about the museum. He relaxed like most cats, absorbing the sunlight into his midnight black fur. You sure you don't want to come in and look at this, Panthermon? You may find it interesting, Zachary thought, relaying his words to the cat-- who heard it clear as day. The panther gave a soft growl as he rested there. I'm good. Thank you. You enjoy yourself. I'll let you know if anything happens of interest. he replied back. Things were calm for the time being as the students and guests made their way around the museum. Zachary trailed along slowly, taking his time with the exhibits. There was so much in this place. A planetarium, dinosaur exhibit, cultural and animal exhibits, gemstones-- many things. He had past one of the connected buildings-- featuring art from ancient times. Ancient Egypt. It was fascinating to the young student as he kept his hands in his jacket pocket-- his goggles secure to his head. Meanwhile...Digital distortions began to slowly wrinkle things near the museum. The computers in the museum and intercoms had bugs that most would brush off or deal with-- but the truth is data was starting to infiltrate the museum somehow. While nothing majorly detectable by normal humans... Digimon might be able to sense it. After a moment of time, Panthermon too sensed it and snapped open his eyes. He rose up, sensing the 'distubance'. Was it a wild Digimon on the loose somewhere, or something else? The cat was now curious. OOC Notes: This is your entrance into the area. Are you here on a class trip as well? Did you come here to inspect something digimon related? Or perhaps you start your quest in the digital world -- till events link the two spaces together? Make your entrance however you like, but events will reveal soon enough.

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...
Adrian calmly slept on the train as it made its stop in Udon. He and his Digimon partner Shoutmon were rogue Digimon hunters. They search all of Tokyo, mainly Shibuya, for Digimon that had entered the real world to cause trouble. Today, however, was not a very action packed day.
Alas, today just didn't seem to be a day where there would be some rogue Digimon to fight. And frankly, Adrian and Shoutmon were perfectly okay with that. It gave them a breather from all the DATS and Demon Lords they had to face off against as of late. So the two eventually fell right asleep on the subway, with Shoutmon snuggily in the V-Pet in Adrian's wrist Digivice.
When the train stopped, both partners slowly woke up. However, Shoutmon would immediately sense something - something going haywire. "Adrian! Adrian, wake up! I'm sensing something... something BIG."
"W-Whuh...?" Adrian asked groggily. He then realized what Shoutmon had said, and he immediately perked up as well. "Do you really?! Can you tell where it is?"
"I know it's in this area somewhere. We should probably get off the train now before it leaves."
Adrian had completely forgotten that he was on the subway. He saw the doors begin to close and immediately bolted towards them, hoping to make his escape. He sadly was not fast enough and the door caught onto his right foot, causing him to slam right into the pavement below. Several bystanders laughed at Adrian's misfortune as he blushed, attempting to get his foot unstuck.
"Not one of my proudest moments... Okay, Shout, show me the way!"
Thanks to Shoutmon's directions, Adrian had ended up in Tokyo's Museum of Natural History. As potentially fascinating as the exhibits could possibly be, he had no time to stop and admire. "Shout, can you get a clearer signal?"
"I-I can't tell! It seems like it's coming from everywhere at once!"

The Tokyo Museum of Natural History. It was sad to say that John had never gotten around to visiting the educational tourism spot since coming to live in the Country of the Rising Sun. He had visited two other Natural History museums thus far; One in New York City, and the other in Washington D.C. John thought it was high time to get another cultural icon under his belt. He was excited to see what the difference would be between the three museums. Overall, there was one subject which he yearned to witness himself. The Dinosaurs.
John and his Holosuited partner, Casimeir, just so happened to be on the very train that pulled into the Udon Station. The human and the Shikoku dog stepped out onto the platform. Adjacent to their left was Adrian; who had just face planted hard onto the ground.
John and his companion winced. They could just feel a phantom pain from watching that blunder. The two were about to rush to the young adult's aid, but, he was quick to recover and dash off from the scene. He felt bad for the kid.
The pair shrugged it off before continuing on their way to the Museum of Natural History. "You excited, Cas?" John asked with a light smile. "I bet the Dinosaurs are gonna be your favorite exhibit, seeing how you can Digivolve into a Ceratosaurus and all."
Casimeir glanced up to his partner. "You mean Greymon? Oh yeah, I remember you calling me that before. Uh...What's a Ceratosaurus again?"
"A theropod that had three horns on its head," John explained.
There was a bit of silence. "Theropods?"
John chuckled as they walked together. "Sorry. Bipedal carnivores. You know, like the Tyrannosaurus, Spinosaurus, Carnotaurus, Icthyovenator..."
The Partnered Human's words trailed off once they had reached the front of the museum. A stairway lead to the entrance which was guarded by two large white pillars. To the left, John smiled at the sight of a Blue Whale statue. His eyes then shifted to a sign displayed at the base of the stairs; no dogs allowed.
John sighed while looking to Casimeir. He lifted his wrist-mounted Digivice. "Hate to ask this, Cas...But do you mind me sneaking you in using the V-pet function?" His face looked to be darkened by guilt just for even mentioning such a thing.
Casimeir smiled reassuringly while wagging his tail gently. "Hey, you know I don't mind being stored in the Digivice," he offered. "It's really not a big deal."
John groaned lightly. "I know, I know. I still feel like it's a small prison for you sometimes. You deserve to be out in the open like everyone else."
Casimer put a paw on John's leg. "Hey. Relax. It's really not an issue. I promise."
That did help the man feel a little better. "Okay. In you go." His finger depressed a button below the screen. It lit up and beamed a light onto the disguised Digimon. In but a flash, he was sucked into the Digivice and now displayed as an 8-bit Agumon.
Now getting inside would prove to be too easy. He smiled and greeted the clerk inside where he paid for his entrance fee. Having a job at AEGIS meant that he didn't have to worry about how he spent his money. Just as long as he didn't needlessly throw his money on expensive restaurants or other frivolous things.

Zachary followed the tour group at his own pace, having just left the section containing precious gemstones that were on display, some even of space rocks. As he wandered, he passed by a digital monitor displaying maps and details of the building. As he passed it-- the screen began to bug and fritz a bit.
Something was starting to happen as others who were sensitive to Digital Monster activity could tell... Unfortunately, Zachary fell in too late as he had his headphones on, listening to some music to aid also his nerves of the class.
As he turned a corner-- he soon found a hall he suspected the rest of the group had gone down-- leading to the 'north american' display and animal hall.
He stepped into the hallway without any worry, but had he been less engrossed in the history around him, he would have noticed his digivice going off with soft beeps. Deep in his pocket, a red glow came from the screen, signaling a warning. However, Zachary entered without hesitation never noticing it.
As he entered the hallway-- his form vanished from anyone else who had been there. The 'hallway' was actually outlined by a strange sheen of energy, not being a hallway but a portal and Zachary had obliviously wandered right inside.
By now, Panthermon caught wind of the disturbance. The cat rose up to his feet and looked around nervously. "Zachary, we got trouble! Something big is happening and--"
The panther paused on top of the roof. His eyes were wide as he tried to reach his friend telepathically... but he got no answer. He couldn't sense his partner. One minute he sensed him, the next gone. "Zachary? Can you hear me? Zachary!?" the cat growled, but never got an answer from him.
Now alarmed, Panthermon pounced off his hiding place and proceeded down from the rooftop. He scaled down a few reliefs on the building till he found an open window and snuck through, no humans seeing him. As he entered the building, he quickly allowed himself to fade-- becoming invisible to regular humans and enemies. Like this, he could quickly track his way through the museum without being seen-- and with any luck find where Zachary disappeared to.
The trouble is, his link with Zachary only traveled so far. A city at most-- but only one reason why he couldn't sense Zachary anymore... Was if he wasn't in this world anymore.
It had been five minutes since Zachary entered the strange portal-- into the museum. Nothing appeared out of the ordinary. He even recognized the text and style of the exhibits as he had made his change.
He found himself in another exhibit with a room filled with native american artifacts, carvings of lizards and other forms of reclics from native american culture. It was peaceful for him ... till he soon noticed something odd. Even with his music on lightly, he noticed no chatter from people or the movements in the reflections of the display or anything. He soon looked around as he stood there to find not a soul was around. He removed his headphones and listened...
Not a sound was around. A chill ran up his back, feeling something was wrong. By then his digivice stopped beeping, as he was already deep in the Digital Shift. However, he had no way of knowing.
"Hello? Anyone?" Zachary asked.
No one answered...
Growing a bit concerned, he went back to the hallway he had last saw the group and looked down it. He reached it-- but only soon saw a never-ending hallway spiraling into the infinite-- as if it would only keep going. It was the place he entered, and now the entrance he entered from just vanished.
"Huh...?!" he gasped, unsure what was going on.
OOC Notes: A fellow tamer has disappeared through a Digital Shift located in the museum. Other such portals can exist, taking you to several different places that look similar to the museum. You may stumble into one such portal yourself, or find the 'wild Digimon' now wandering invisible seeking his missing partner. No doubt your Digimon can easily sense the Digimon even while invisible. Easily can be mistaken for the 'disturbance'.
Digital Shift: The Digital Shift is a space between the real world and Digital World-- which adapts the data of the human world to mimic its general appearance. In this case, the museum. What it is doing here and how it is formed is a mystery to you for now... While it has the same layout and examples of the Museum, it is a labyrinth that also has its own twists and turns.
It is a warp of time-space, and its full nature is still unknown to you. Be cautious when you find your way inside...

Today was not going so well for Adrian right now. Shoutmon could definitely sense something being wrong within the museum, but according to him it seemed to be coming from everywhere, so tracking it down efficiently was close to impossible. And what's more, if the signal is this messed up than something big was going to happen.
The nineteen-year-old closed his eyes and began taking deep breaths in an attempt to calm himself down. Thankfully it worked, and Adrian no longer felt completely stressed out. He opened and eyes and had a more thorough investigation of the museum.
"You wanna come out of there and help me out, Shoutmon?" Adrian whispered to the D-Arc.
"And wear that crappy holosuit? No thanks, I'm good from within here. Let me out when there's something to fight!"
"Gee, what would I ever do without you?" Adrian asked in a sarcastic tone as he rolled his eyes. Adrian looked at a digital map of the building, since he didn't really know where he was as he just kinda rushed in. Some kid had passed by it, but as he did, the screen glitched and bugged out. His eyes widened; this kid must have something to do with the Digital interference of the museum.
Without the kid's knowledge, Adrian followed him from a distance, far enough so it didn't look like it was too obvious on what Adrian was doing. The kid didn't seem to notice, as he had his headphones on and was listening to music. Adrian watched as the kid entered a random hallway... and disappeared in the middle of it.
What the hell?!
Was this a gateway to the Digital World? Whatever it was, Adrian had to track that kid down. He ran down that same hallway, but after going through, everything seemed to be the same as it was just a second ago. He wasn't in the Digital World, as far as he could tell. Adrian kept going until he came across a Native American exhibit. There wasn't a soul in this whole place, even though the museum was packed full of people.
"Just what is going on...?" Adrian asked himself. He saw the kid a few feet away from himself. The kid took off his headphones and look around, as if he just noticed what was going on as well. He saw him run back to the hallway, only to be even more confused as the entryway was just... gone. At this point, Adrian felt it would be good to align himself with this kid, at least until they figured out what was going on.
"Hey kid, over here! Don't run, okay? I think I'm in the same situation as you. I suppose you have no idea what's going on either, right?"

Now, John and Casimeir were inside of the museum. Sneaking his Digimon Partner in was the easy part. Though admittedly, the man didn't think all-too far ahead. Using the V-Pet feature proved to be a versatile solution in the short-run. But how would he explain having a dog inside of the museum?
John's eyes followed a woman who entered the building while he lingered by the entrance. She had a dog with her. However, it wore an official service dog vest. His lips creased into a soft grimace. No way would he ever pass Casimeir off as a service dog. The idea turned his stomach. John would think himself to be the biggest hypocrite in the world when he himself disagreed with the concept of false support animals.
While John concocted a potential solution, Casimeir picked up an odd shift in the environment. Something felt rather recognizable in the museum. Something that the pair had experienced before. He looked to the screen and tapped on it to get John's attention.
"Hey, John?" The Agumon's voice was accompanied by an alert blurb on John's device.
John raised his wrist to look back at the digitized dinosaur. "Yeah, Cas?"
Casimeir appeared to have a sweat drop coming down the left side of his face. "Remember the incident at the bank? I can feel the same thing happening here. At the Museum."
John's eyebrow piqued. "A Digital Shift?" he murmured. The man scratched at his chin. "You don't think...You don't think the D-Brigade is making a move here, do you?"
Agumon stayed silent for a few moments. "Not sure. But I can sense something else. It feels like a Digimon. Maybe they'll know what's behind this. I'll direct you to them."
The partnered human began a brisk walk. Every so often he was given verbal instruction from Casimeir on where to go. It was akin to having a personal Global Positioning System voiced by the Agumon. Pretty soon John stopped in an exhibit which was empty save for himself and his partner.
"Cas? There's no one here but us." John's eyes examined every inch of the room. "You sure this is where they are?"
"I'm sure of it," Casimeir confirmed. "Maybe they're invisible?"
Invisible? That was always a possibility. Digital Camoflague existed, after all. Maybe they were a friendly Digimon?
"Hello?" he called out, looking from left to right while making his way to the center of the room. "No need to hide. I know about Digimon. I have a Digimon partner named Caismeir. There's a Digital Shift going on and well, we were hoping you could help us understand why it's here." He stopped now that he had reached the middle of the room. "And please tell me that you're not with the D-Brigade."

Meanwhile back in the Real World...Panthermon had gotten inside, but with too worried about Zachary he didn't notice just yet he was being tailed. As he entered one of the empty exhibits, trying to avoid as many people as possible... he heard the sound of someone call out. He let out a soft growl and turned. Of course, no one could see him-- but he soon came to the sight of the odd-looking human. He immediately recognized the device in his hand. A Digivice. A growl came out, despite his invisibility. After his declaration, he knew where Panthermon was and he was a tamer too, and the other stuff about a Digital Shift... Panthermon realized hiding was pointless. After a brief glance around, the cat let out a growl and his body shimmered--- reappearing to reveal who and what he was to the single human. It would be a surprise to him, considering Panthermon was an unclassified Digimon compared to others-- from his sleek black fur to the jungle cat appearance he had on him. " Who are you?" Panthermon demanded with a growl, still not convinced he was truely a friend just yet. However the news about the D-Brigade and Digital Shifts, confused the cat as he still was on guard. " D-brigade? Digital Shift? What are you talking about?--- *Grrrr* I don't have time for this. My partner disappeared, and I have to find him!" he said, clearly upset and probably would attack if he felt threatened. Clearly to John, Panthermon appeared to have no clue or relationship to that unknown group known as the D-Brigade. The jungle cat seemed to be clueless to what was going on except for the fact his partner had disappeared in an instant... ... likely the first victim to the Digital Shift. They just had to find a way inside... Inside the Digital Shift...(Digital Shift Music ) Zachary was puzzled as to the way he came-- leading back to the main lobby was now gone. It was like he somehow stepped into a hall of mirrors. He was about to call out for Panthermon once more till he heard a voice. Alarmed, Zachary turned around to find he was not alone. Another kid was with him, roughly his same age, if not younger. He wore a burgundy red jacket with a pair of goggles to his light brown hair-- much in the same style he did. " Me? What are you doing here?" Zachary said, confused to why someone else was here too. A gulp echoed in his throat as he tried to remain calm. At least he wasn't alone in this place, but he had no clue what happened. The fact that he couldn't hear Panthermon anymore in his mind made him worry. Did he fall into the Digital World, or worse, another world by accident? But how? " Um, who are you? LEt's try to stay calm... best we can anyway," Zachary said as he walked a little closer to the stranger. " I'm Zachary by the way. But I have no clue what is going on. One minute the museum was normal and now--" " Who the hell are you two?!" The third voice caused more concern as Zachary turned to find something unsettling. Among the native American artifacts, statues and figures-- one figure moved! And it wasn't even human-looking. A humanoid creature emerged, dressed akin to the Native American statues and attire-- but stood out as he wasn't a man, but a humanoid reptile creature. He had similar pants and tabard, bracers and a headband with a feather out behind it. More notably was its bracers had massive blades like guillotines and a massive knife-shaped sword behind his back. As if that wasn't enough he had a cleaver-shaped blade in his right hand or claw.Even though he never saw him-- Zachary had a pretty good idea what this guy was. " A Digimon? Here?!" Zachary gasped. The dragonoid creature leered his eyes at them. " Well... this is a problem..." he growled, and then a wicked smirk came across his face. " Sorry, but we can't tolerate tamers here. Guess I'll just have to get rid of you..." He let out a sharp whistle then. At first, nothing happened-- till they could hear the scampering of claws on the tiled floor. It was then that four red raptor-looking Digimon appeared. Unlike the other, they seemed more feral-- but obeyed the summons from the bigger lizard. " Attack!! For Lord King!" the lizard man cried. Grabbing his massive blade from behind-- the lizardman jumped up into the air, intending to bring down the blade upon their heads. OOC: John has encountered Panthermon and should try to reason with the cat to help find the Digital Shift and his missing partner. Inside, Zachary and Adrian had found one another but in the spirit of the exibit-- one Such Digimon-- a Dinohumon appeared from there and summoned a series of Guilmon to attack.

"To be perfectly honest, I just followed you," Adrian said, in response to the kid's question. He continued to elaborate more to help make him sound less creepy. "You walked down a hallway and just like that, you vanished. I ran in to come find you, and right now I am totally lost as to where I am. And trust me, I've seen weird things before."
After Adrian explained his story to the kid, he said his name was Zachary and asked Adrian what his name was. "You can call me Adrian. You may wanna stay by my side, at least for now. I'm more prepared for whatever weirdness will come our way next."
Soon after that, a sudden voice boomed out that wasn't Adrian's or Zachary's. Turning around, Adrian would see something start to move. His outfit was akin to the Native American look, keeping up with the theme of the exhibit. It was definitely reptilian, with green scales and a giant blade behind his back. This thing was clearly a-
Adrian did a double take when Zachary said the word "Digimon". "W-What the-?! You know about Digimon?! Are you a Tamer or something? Where's your partner?"
The green dragonoid Digimon glared at them before deciding to just get rid of them. He summoned four Digimon that were all Guilmon, and he proceeded to jump into the air in an attempt to attack the two of them.
"Watch out!" Adrian immediately yelled, leaping towards Zachary to get them both out of harm's way. After a hopefully successful attempt at this, Adrian would get right back up and look right at the Digimon, extending his D-Arc watch. "We're not as defenseless as you think we are. Shoutmon, realize!"
A bright glow shot out of the Digivice, which formed into a red metal-covered dragon with a micstand and green headphones. "Are these the guys that need a quick butt-kicking?"
"You know it. Shoutmon, digivolve!"
"Shoutmon, digivolve to..." At once, Shoutmon began to glow. After he Digivolved, he looked like a more mature version of his previous self. His headphones were replaced with white earbuds, he had black markings under his eyes, a nifty belt, and a flowing gold scarf. "SuperShoutmon!"
SuperShoutmon spun his micstand before holding it up to his mouth. Taking a deep breath, he would yell: "MIGHTY MELODY!" After yelling this, a great blast of musical energy would soar right at the giant green Digimon and the group of Guilmon. SuperShoutmon uses "Mighty Melody" on all enemies.
Mighty Melody: SuperShoutmon sings into his micstand, causing a blast of musical energy to shoot out at the target.

If John was not experienced with Digimon encounters, the Panthermon just might have seen a human standing like a deer in headlights while it was stalked. But the Partnered Human stood stalwart in his calm demeanor. He understood that the Panthermon was desperate after explaining he was split up from his own Partner. Any false move, and the human might find himself at the wrong end of some sharp teeth and claws.
John put a hand over his chest and smiled politely. "My name is John Davis. I'm with a group called AEGIS. We help Digimon and their partners, as well as protect the Human World from Digimon threats. If you're separated from your Human Partner, then we'll be more than happy to help get you guys together again."
"That's right," the Digivice exclaimed. A bright light flashed on the screen. And in an instant, the Agumon digitized at John's right side. The human didn't even have a chance to protest to the sudden appearance of his partner. But, he acquiesced.
"Well, no one's around," John sighed. "This is Casimeir." The Partnered Human examined the big cat Digimon. Black fur, and he noted the rings affixed to its arms. Reminiscent of Holy Digimon. It was an interesting and incredible design!
John quietly cleared his throat. "In any case. If your Partner disappeared, then that must mean there's a Digital Shift like how Casimeir suspected. A Digital Shift is, for lack of better terms, a space between the Human World and Digital World. A Digital pocket dimension that hybridizes both worlds." He looked to his partner as he placed his hands on his hips. "Cas, you can track the portal down, right?"
The Agumon nodded confidently. "I sure can. With this Digimon tracked down, now I can focus on the other disturbance."
John smiled. "Great. But how do we sneak you through the museum? Hmm." The man prodded his chin with his index finger's knuckle. He blinked now that he came to a realization. "Oh, wait a minute! The gift shop!" he stared at Casimeir with bright eyes and a big smile.
Casimeir tilted his head. "Come again?"
John bounced a little with excitement. "Yeah! The Gift shop has stuffed toy Dinosaurs! We can pass you off as one!"
The Agumon's expression soon mirrored John's. "Oh, yeah! It will be just like old times! Okay, let's go find that portal!"
John happily scooped the little dinosaur into his arms and cradled him there, with his arms hooking under Casimeir's and around his chest. "Lead the way, pal!" He turned slightly to give a reassuring smile to Panthermon. "We'll find your partner in no time. Come on, let's go."
Knowing that Panthermon would follow their lead, John hurried down corridors past the different exhibits while he followed Casimeir's directions just like before. "Left...Okay, up a few halls...Now right!"
It was not long before the small group reached another empty hallway. With keen eyes, John and Casimeir could see a visible shift in reality. "This has to be it," John assessed. "Let's head on through."
With that, John took the first step into the hallway. It was a Digital Shift, alright, seeing how it felt the same as when they entered the bank.

Panther glared at the human for a time, and listened carefully. Despite his on guard demeanor, he wasn't a feral wildcat. He was part of some group, AEGIS-- which he remembered a little bit from the Golden Week. It became more clear he wasn't lying when his Digivice glowed and the little Agumon popped out with a cheerful call. Panthermon raised a brow at the name 'Casimeir' of all names, the name of a fabric.
The mention of the Digital Shift and what was-- made Panthermon think a bit. "If what you say is true... then that would explain why I cannot sense Zachary anymore, " he stated, "He is not in the real world anymore, technically..." The cat looked over the goofy-looking duo of a tamer and his partner, and soon let out a 'sigh' like growl. "Fine, I will trust you for now. If you do know where I can find my tamer, I do not have any reason to deny your aid."
As they discussed where to go and how the little Agumon would get around unnoticed as a stuffed animal. Panthermon agreed to accompany the strangers. With his acceptance, his form shimmered once more and he vanished from sight once more. Though unseen, he stayed close to the duo.
When Casimeir sensed it-- they seemed about ready to go forward into it...
... until.
"Wow! What a cool stuffed animal!"
A passing young school group had rounded near the corner, and a younger kid saw Casimeir/Agumon in John's arms. Panthermon paused too, undetectable to the eager child as the girl looked up at Agumon with amusement.
While John probably didn't want to subject his Agumon to such treatment, it was hard to deny the child as she reached up and began to play with his little feet-- which probably would tickle the poor Agumon. She would also pat his head or hold his mussel for brief moment, making it hard to play the role of a 'lifeless' stuffed toy.
"It's so cute!" she said cheerfully, "I'd love one too."
"It's times like this I am glad I can become invisible..." the panther-like Digimon whispered to John, almost amused at the Agumon's situation.
But it did raise an issue. If they were not careful, other humans might enter the Digital Shift, adding more victims and more confusion. They might want to consider how to quarter off that portal-- for however long it would remain open as it seemed to open and close in random spaces.
"WHOH!!" Zachary cried at the incoming Digimon, but soon saw as Adrian's partner emerged-- as some mechanized dragon-like imp and his Digivolution form was... well almost the exact same. "Oh, so his evolution is just him with a cape? Really?" he sarcastically criticized to ease the stress of being attacked by dinosaurs.
However, its loud Mighty Melody called out loud by the wide wave of sound that disoriented the dinosaurs a bit. While powerful, it wasn't a one shot as the sound wave hurt their ears. That and Shoutmon's size didn't boast as much power to stop Dinohumon.
"Grrr. Damn noisy... I'll shut you up!" Dinohumon growled as he jumped up into the air and raised his largest blade once more. "Akinakes!" He then swung with a flip and proceeded to bring down the largest blade upon Shoutmon.
Meanwhile, the sound rang through the Guilmon's ears but they soon shook their head. Their eyes looked from their leader-- to the easy targets in the room. Zachary and Adrian while Dinohumon engaged the only combat digimon there.
Grrrrowl! Krrrraaa! The Guilmon gave very raptor like sounds.
Zachary's expression went pale at the sight of them looking at them. "Oooh, I saw this movie and I did NOT like this part," Zachary said as he backed up and turned to Adrian. "We need to leave-- NOW! Unless you wanna end up dino chow!"
Regardless of the strength that Shoutmon had, it wouldn't be easy for him to fight off another champion level Digimon AND safeguard two humans from four smaller dinosaur digimon. There was just too many...
... and the distance echoed the sounds of other creatures coming their way.
OOC: Panthermon and John: You find a subtle portal to the Digial Shift but are blocked by a young girl who loves Casimeir as a stuffed toy. Also they have to make sure no other innocent people wander into the shift-- or they will be trapped inside too.
Zachary and Adrian: Shoutmon's sound attack hits but rattles them slightly. Dinohumon attacks the Shoutmon with his massive sword, attemting to cut him to pieces-- but the four other Guilmon recover from the sound and eye the four humans hungrily with feral interest.
Digitial Shift: The entire museum is one large maze now, using rooms from the museum but corridors and halls interchange as this space doesn't follow the same laws of space.
Pack Hunters: Dragon Roar Digimon now roam the Digital Shift Museum for an unknown purpose and most are feral, or aggressive against others. They are 50% tougher and more durable. They are commanded by the "Pack Leader"-- who is unknown for now.

SuperShoutmon smiled when Zachary seemed impressed that he had shown up. It made him feel pretty good about himself. That feeling was completely replaced by disappointment and anger when he seemed equally unimpressed by his champion form. He angrily turned to the human. "DO YA WANT ME TO SAVE YOU OR NOT?!" SuperShoutmon yelled.
SuperShoutmon's "Mighty Melody" attack did do some damage, but because he wasn't able to focus it entirely on one enemy it just hurt and rattled them all a bit. At least the leader Digimon looked pissed off enough, claiming he was going to shut SuperShoutmon up. "Got bad news for ya, buddy; I never shut up," he cockily said as he rolled right out of the way of DinoHumon's attack. He immediately got up and hopped up behind DinoHumon, extending his mic stand.
"BEAT BATON!" SuperShoutmon immediately hit the back of DinoHumon's head with his mic stand, hopefully before the larger Digimon had a chance to react and move out of the way.
"What he lacks in size he makes up for in speed and power," Adrian whispered to Zachary. "Besides, he's not the only un-tall champion out there."
While SuperShoutmon was busy with DinoHumon, the Guilmons were right on the humans' trail. Zachary mentioned how he saw this in a movie, and that they had to leave now. Adrian agreed, but he still took out a special object: his hardlight baton. "Do they have this in the movie?"
While backing away, Adrian swung right at the Guilmons. They were rookie level, so the hardlight baton would hopefully cause them to back away. Adrian turned back to Zachary. "Get out of here and hide. SuperShoutmon and I will be right behind you!" SuperShoutmon used "Beat Baton" on DinoHumon.
Beat Baton: SuperShoutmon strikes the enemy with a melee attack by his more powerful new micstand.

John was caught mid-step toward the unseen portal. A little girl had spotted his Digimon Partner. At the very least, it appeared that his idea worked! Sadly, it worked too well.
John remained frozen as a statue for but a moment. He gave an empathetic look to his "toy" while he did his best to scheme a way out of this small mess. 'Come on, why isn't the teacher even doing anything to get her back with the group?' he groaned internally.
A little sweat drop appeared on Casimeir's left temple. This wasn't the first time that he had to endure a curious person's inspections, seeing how he used to pretend to be a stuffed animal only a few years ago. That was, however, an old practice. He nearly forgot how grabby some people could be; especially children.
The Agumon tried his best to play the lifeless toy role. Though the tickling had nearly caused him to chuckle. 'Come on John,' he thought as he fought every instinct to laugh, 'think of something!'
"Uh...Oh!" An idea popped into his mind. "I'm glad you like it! The museum is handing these out for free as a promotion. If you hurry to the gift shop, you might still get one! There's only a few hundred left!"

"Really?" The little girl squeaked. After she gave Agumon/ Casimeir a friendly rub on the tummy, another tickle attack of sorts. With the news of possible stuffed animals at the gift shop, despite the lie being free, she withdrew from playing with Casimeir. "Class-- come now! Gather around for this exhibit and then we will move on to the next wing." The teacher announced. Hearing her teacher's call the little girl smiled at John. "Thank you, Mister." With that she ran back to her class. The soft sound of 'purring' could be heard behind them as it appeared to be Panthermon's equivalent to 'laughter' from seeing Casimeir tickled to death However, John still had one problem. He had to make sure he could divert people away from the wing where the Digital Shift portal was. If he wasn't careful, a stray kid could follow him in or at least someone would spot him vanish into thin air and cause trouble later. Though he couldn't prevent people from finding other portals... he could stop this one by blocking it off. Inside Digital Shift...It seemed that Adrian had some hand to hand experience with some form of digital light weapon. Zachary on the other hand had no such luck as he was unarmed beyond his collection of Digimon Cards. Adrian was able to come to Zachary's aid, knocking away the rabid Guilmon, but that left 3 more unabated. They tried to surround him with a predator's accuracy as Adrian urged him to find somewhere to hide. " I can't just leave you--" CHOMP!! The guilmon nearby took a snap at Zachary, missing by a sleeve. With no other option, Zachary ran for it! He bolted to the hallway despite the 'unending' view of it to find another place to go. He hoped that Adrian could follow maybe... All the while, the Shoutmon had his paws full with Dinohumon as he had the incoming Beat Baton coming for him. The swing would of smacked any other Digimon upside the head and out cold-- however, the Dinohumon was smart with the blade. With a quick duck and turn, he brought his giant butcher knife of a sword around in a large swing. CLANG!! The two were now locked Swords and... microphone . The two were now locked in epic combat both of them evenly physically strong with their weapons. " You fool! Run all you want, but my kind will find you! You cannot stop what we have set in motion!" he boasted like some mad zealot. As Zachary ran, two of the Guilmon tried to trail him-- while the others remained with Dinohumon to try and get Shoutmon and his tamer.
Zachary ran as fast as he could, seeking somewhere. Luckily the outline of the place was still like the museum as he quickly found a large sliding door. Using what strength he could he slid it open just enough and slipped through. He quickly closed it, using a softer touch to make sure it didn't give a sound. As he closed the door-- it was only a small distance away from the other hall... and hoped Adrian was okay. Still, he wouldn't dare go back out with the hungry raptor Digimon lurking about. He kept quiet till he heard the scamper of claws disappear and he finally risked a sigh of relief. He soon stood up and looked around, finding another museum display-- this time of more modern and traditional terrain. It was the flora and fauna exhibit, accounting for types of animals in different areas of the world and their habitats. Terrariums were made to mimic certain enviorments, like fields, mountains and forests, with statues or replicas of animals. Zachary found a bench in the center of the room and sat down, his chest heaving noticeably as he fought for air. He tried to reach Panthermon, but sensed nothing. Wherever they were, it clearly was not the real world and no doubt his partner was back there. He took a moment to check his phone. As he looked at the smartphone-- he saw zero bars and zero wifi in the corner. " Great... Completely cut off on either side. " he said as he pocketed his phone. He began to look around, hoping to find some clues or another avenue he could escape from the room beyond the way he came. He got up and soon noticed something about this exhibit that was eye catching-- the large replica stuffed animals now on display in the center. One of a woolly mammoth, an elephant... surprisingly realistic in appearance. Slowly he walked along them, looking at their appearance and the silence of the museum made it a bit scary than normal. (What kind of happens ) It reminded him of an old movie of how someone made taxidurmy of perserving animals for sport. Hopefully they were not the case for the museum and just convincing replicas. The animals grew smaller and smaller in scale as he moved closer, finding a large black bear beside him... ... and a small bear cub beside him just as still. Oddly this one appeared much different from the traditional one. It stood on its haunches, had a more realistic fur and large eyes-- marked also by someone putting a baseball cap on its head. " HIII!!" it cheered with a raise of its paw. " GHAAAA!!" Zachary shouted in fright as he jumped back... the bear clearly startling him as he thought it was one of the inanimate display... till it went... (" Ain't got no bear. And no bear-cares for me! Ta-daaa it added with a small funny dance. ) After its childish and 'seemingly innocent greeting... Zachary blinked as he stepped back, clearly shocked to find another Digimon in this strange alternate museum dimension. He was speechless as he stood there, watching as the bear looked up at him sweetly, and a smirk formed on the bear's face. " Heeeey... I know you! You're that nice human who gave me the honey bun!" he said with renewed joy. " I gave you what?" Zachary asked, but it took him a minute to remember... and it then came back fast. Back in Golden Week-- before the crazy attack. He had befriended a few small Digimon, and one of which was a Bearmon who had an affinity for Honey Buns. Zachary's eyes widened. " No way... You're the same Bearmon from Golden Week?!" " Righty-O!" the Bearmon chirped with a raise of his paw. " It's good to see you again, Mr. Honey Bun." Zachary frowned. " Is that really how you remember me by that name? " he rebuttled, but shook his head, easily confused by how he was here to begin with. " How did you even get here in the first place? " Clearly wild and unruly dinosaurs were not the only thing wandering around this bizzaro museum. John and Casimier: Blocking Portal- Find something around the museum-- a sign or something to block the wing with the portal if only briefly. Prevent people from following you in as well. Zachary and Adrian: Zachary is forced to flee while Adrian and Supershoutmon fight the enemies. The Shoutmon is in a stalemate with the Dinohumon and Adrian is left with a couple Guilmon. Meanwhile, Zachary hides in a nearby exhibit and realizes there is no contact to the outside world. Looking around the room, he finds a series of 'stuffed animals' and one of them jumps out to be a small Bearmon... one that he knew from Golden Week, now mysteriously in the museum.

As Adrian attempted to ward off the seemingly rabid pack of Guilmon, he yelled at Zachary to just start running without him or SuperShoutmon. At first Zachary denied, saying he didn't want to leave the two of them behind. He barely got his words out before a Guilmon snapped right at him, just barely missing him, that made him change his mind and bolt out of there.
Now how are WE going to get out of this mess... wait, maybe I have a card that can help us! Adrian then frantically searched through his card holder while also attempting to avoid the crazy Guilmons, hoping he had at least something that could help get them out of here.
Meanwhile, SuperShoutmon was neck-and-neck with DinoHumon. The two of them clashed weapons repeatedly, both equally as strong as the other. Gah, what is with this 'mon?! SuperShoutmon thought angrily as they fought, I can't find a single opening to be able to strike him! Gotta think of something fast...
The DinoHumon then threatened SuperShoutmon, claiming that his kind would for sure find them no matter where they go. "Doesn't mean we're gonna just give up and let you tear us apart!" he yelled. Suddenly he got an idea as he came face to face with DinoHumon. "If you're so strong, can you do this?" the Champion asked before blowing a stream of fire right into DinoHumon's face. With him distracted, SuperShoutmon then did a couple backflips... then hovered in midair?
"SUPERSHOUTMON!" Adrian yelled to his partner, waving his arm up and revealing the "Wings of Light" card. Smirking, SuperShoutmon flew right to Adrian and picked him up. Thankfully humans were pretty light to him in his Champion form.
"You said we could run all we want," SuperShoutmon yelled at DinoHumon, "but you said nothing about flying! Later, chumps!" With Adrian in his arms, SuperShoutmon flew right down the same hallway Zachary ran down, while throwing an Enhanced Fastball in the middle of the room to distract the crazy dinos. As soon as they were out of the clear, SuperShoutmon set down Adrian while "Wings of Light" deactivated. "Nice going there, Adrian," SuperShoutmon complimented as he landed on the ground.
"Thanks... but we're going to need to go to Terminus at some point to pick up some cards," Adrian replied, "because something like a smoke screen would've been handy to have."
"Yeah, but you made do... now, do you have any idea what this crazy place is?"
"No idea. There's Digimon roaming around, but this doesn't feel like the Digital World. I saw that kid earlier walk down a hallway and they just vanished... oh no, what if other humans can get into here?"
"If they did, they'd be torn apart by those jurassic jerks," SuperShoutmon replied.
"We need to find Zachary and find a way out of here. Then we need to figure out how we can stop humans from entering, if not get rid of this place entirely. Come on, let's go."
Adrian and SuperShoutmon walked down the hallway until they reached an exhibit that was inhabited by a similar looking human... as well as a Digimon they had seen before, a Bearmon. "Zachary!" Adrian called out as he and Shoutmon ran up. "There you are... we managed to escape those Digimon..."

Relief washed over John like a soothing shower. More-so for Casimeir. The Agumon didn't know how much longer he could handle being tickled! "That was super close," the Partnered Human sighed. Though, hearing Panthermon's chuckle helped lighten up the ordeal.
"Okay," Casimeir started, "now we have to make sure nobody enters that hallway." He swiveled his head, sure that no one was watching him now. He smiled when he spotted exactly what they would need. "Over there!"
John directed his attention toward Casimeir's direction. There stood some spare rope barriers next to the exhibit door. "Perfect!" he exclaimed low enough to not draw attention. He eased Casimeir down to the floor and got right to work on setting the velvet rope up to bar entry to the hallway. He could only hope that it would stop anyone who was sensible.
"No more time to waste," the man said, gesturing for the others to follow him under the rope. All potential distractions were now taken care of. What was left was entering the portal which was invisible save for a glimmer of data that could be seen with a trained eye.
John and Casimeir stood before the portal to the Digital Shift, now. John turned his head to look to his partner. "Let's get in there and save this museum." Without further adieu, the pair stepped forward and prepared themselves for what they might find on the other side.
