If her head could open up, would a jack-in-the-box pop out instead of a brain? Rebecca thought to herself as she watched Sherry's interaction with Dante. On top of the CPR situation and the number of jobs she's claimed to have, Rebecca was amazed she even managed to carry on this long.
Whether or not Sherry graduated high school was still in the air for Rebecca, however.
When Rebecca asked how Dante knew Sal, he simply said that they had met in college and that it was not the "first time they've gotten physical." Rebecca didn't need much thinking to put two and two together. "Y-You slept with her? Did you just think she was nice at first or what?"
As she helped Dante get inside, Rebecca just couldn't help but think about what Dante had asked her. "What does digital mean to you?" That sounded very suspicious. The twins didn't say anything about a Digimon in the area, and there wasn't a Digivice on Dante... what did he even mean by that in the first place?
Upon entering the building, Rebecca would help rest Dante onto the white couch inside of the living room. The apartment was very pleasant to look at, if a little bit plain. Rebecca's grandmother had seen the trio walk in, and of course she had questions... and was very concerned for Dante's well-being when she saw that he was being helped to the couch.
"Oh my, are these the new neighbors Rebecca?" she asked while hurrying along to Dante. "Did something happen? He doesn't look very good... and where are August and Gabe?"
Back at the house, naturally Sal would be very confused about what August was doing. As soon as everything was explained to her, she seemed to just naturally play the part. Too well, as she hugged August hard enough that it would hurt. Thankfully he was much stronger than a human, so he didn't feel all that much hurt.
As she bragged about being August's boyfriend, she also attempted to squeeze his behind hard as well. It didn't hurt, but it did make August feel very uncomfortable. He was going to get back at her later for this.
Naturally the nerds at the party were very upset. They even claimed that they were the ones who had taken the bag and would not give it back unless they played along with their game. Now, August saw the bag crawl off so he knew they were spewing bullshit, but he didn't let Sal know this at all. Why? Well because he thought she didn't know about the acknowledgement of Digimon, and even if she did, August didn't even know there was a Digimon in there. And if Sal DID find out the bag just crawled off, she'd just take it again. So for now, August had to do what he was best at: playing dumb.
"Role playing game, eh? Aight, I'll bite. Any rules I should know about? Don't wanna play the wrong way."
While everyone else was distracted, Gabumon roamed the hallway for the bag. Eventually he did find it on the ground, just sitting there. He went to go pick it up before that foul stench returned. "Oh my... what in the world...?" Gabumon then peeked into the bag to find a giant pile of vomit occupying the bag. It took all of Gabumon's might to not throw up himself. "Wait... if that's in there, then..."
The Gabumon's self-talk was interrupted by a sound nearby, from the kitchen. It sounded like climbing, then a bag shifting around. Gabumon slowly made his way to the kitchen, where he definitely saw something inside of a box on the counter. A Digimon.
"Were you in the bag this whole time?"

Rebecca didn't think too highly of Sherry's intelligence, and it was easy to see why. When Dante mentioned he encountered Sal before, the shy girl put two and two together. Dante gets all embarrassed and Sherry giggles with glee.
"What?! That's not what I was talking about."
"Oh my god, did he really?! What the hell did you do to her Dante?"
"You two don't understand. You see, Misty told us about Sal's wedding..."
"Ah HAAA! You slept with the bride! You dirty dog."
Sherry slaps Dante in the face.
"I can't take my eyes off of you for a minute, can I? Now, if you can keep your hormones in check for now, get your butt inside!"
"You've got it all wrong! This isn't the time."
The trio go inside and Dante sits down on the couch. He didn't feel comfortable being pampered to because of his injury. As if Dante couldn't be more embarrassed, Rebecca's grandmother walks in and asks her about the guests.
"Yes, my name is Sherry Winehouse and I'm an extraordinary real estate agent. What a lovely home you have!"
"Hello there, I'm Dante. Someone stole my bag and the twins went to get it. I'm feeling a little sore from an injury, but I'm starting to feel better."
"You need to take it easy. Do you need anything? Coffee, pillow, candy?"
"Wait, do you have candy?"
"Well, I used to keep chocolate bars in my purse, but they melted. Hello, Sherry!"
Back at the house, August got roped into joining Toshiro's game, and he's not happy at Sal. He knew the nerds were lying about the bag. Toshiro fixes the board and passes August and Sal some character sheets. He introduces them to the other players.
"Welcome to the game. This is Gunwoo. He's from Korea. The guy in the gas mask is Rishou."
*Gunwoo in Korean* "I don't know what the hell is going on, but the demon lady is very scary."
"He doesn't speak the same language, but he does know some Spanish. Gunwoo! No Bueno!"
Gunwoo crosses his arms frowns. Sal sits down next to Rishou,the skinny pale young man wearing a gas mask. Rishou and Sal look at each other. Rishou raises his hand and waves. Sal stares at the geek wide eyed with her head tilted.
"Alright, hurry up and fill out your sheets."
"What is this? Leg health? Climbing skill? Alchemy? Ryu, was it? You're going to help me out. I wanna kick ass, so you better make me powerful."
"Okay, Sal! Rishou, move over so I can sit next to Sal."
"Yes, you can help Sal, and I will help Sal's boy toy, if he wants."
Ryu sits in between Rishou and Sal, squishing Sal up against August.
"I need some space here. Move your fat ass!"
Sal pushes Ryu, but accidentally hits August with her elbow. Making new characters wasn't that difficult, but it did take time. The game is fairly standard, fantasy themed but with some future technology. Sal chooses an amazon warrior with a big hammer. She didn't have many abilities, but what she did possess is pure strength. No time for brewing potions or gathering herbs for her.
In the kitchen, Gabumon comes across the bag on the floor. A rancid smell draws him in, and sure enough, it needs cleaning. Whoever was in there was no longer. The sound of munching draws Gabumon's attention to the counter, where Minomon is shoving donuts into his face, making a big mess and rolling in the powder. Minomon hears Gabumon and rolls over to look at him.
"What the, a Gabumon? They said I could have donuts!"
Minomon scarfs down the last donut and hops down off the counter.
"I don't know what the hell happened. I was in this bag, there were a lot of noises. Once I got away, I just naturally went to the kitchen. Where are we?"

"You slept with someone... on their wedding night?" If Rebecca was in her White Wolf outfit at this point, she would have sounded a bit more confident and demanding with that statement. As of right now though, she sounded like she was asking if she heard that correctly. "That doesn't sound right at all..."
Helping Dante get inside, Rebecca would sit on the couch beside him. Sherry introduced herself to Rebecca's grandmother Mayumi as well as complimenting the apartment. She couldn't help but feel a little good about that. "Why thank you, Sherry! I do try to keep it as neat as possible for Rebecca and her brother."
Dante would then introduce himself as well, explaining the situation of the twins and the stolen bag. When Dante mentioned the word 'injury,' Mayumi grew a worried look on her face. "An injury? Where? Do you need an ice pack? I can make you something to drink if you would like."
"He said he's alright, Grandma, it's nothing serious," Rebecca tried to reassure her. "...and why would you keep chocolate bars in your purse, Sherry?"
If either Dante or Sherry were observant, they would notice a picture on the wall next to the television. That picture would include a very young Rebecca, a slightly older boy, and a happily married couple, all four of them smiling at the camera.
Back at the house, August concluded that the party members here were very... unique. One of them was wearing some kind of weird mask, which definitely confused August. "Why is 'Rishou' wearing a mask? Is he trying to hide something? Not that I would know what hiding something would look like, of course."
Then there was 'Gunwoo,' who only spoke in Korean according to Toshiro. Thankfully as a Digimon, August could definitely understand what he was saying. To just completely troll and surprise everyone, August responded to Gunwoo in Korean. "We're joining the game, Gunwoo. And you better not let the 'Demon Lady' know what you just said. She'll rip your head off."
Creating a character wasn't hard for August since he grew accustomed to this style of game from watching Iki and Rebecca play RPGs on their video game console. August created a badass soldier that had a futuristic fire gun, and he was ready to play. Hopefully it wouldn't take too long, since he wasn't THAT interested in playing a tabletop RPG at the moment.
Back in the kitchen, Minomon definitely spotted Gabumon at this point, exclaiming that 'they' said he could have the donuts. "I don't really care for donuts right now. Were you in that bag this whole time? Does that mean Dante's a Tamer? This makes sense, we did sense something back at the apartment..."
Apparently Minomon was completely clueless, as he didn't even know where he was. "We're at a complete stranger's house. A horrid human named Sal stole the bag and ran, so my brother and I chased her down. We need to get you out of here before she discovers what's going on... oh god, that means that's your puke in the bag, disgusting..."

Dante's comments about his past with Sal did not sound right, but the truth is a lot more complicated. Rebecca's grandmother Mayumi says she tries to keep the place nice for Rebecca and her brother. When Dante mentioned his injury, Mayumi offers him an ice pack. Rebecca says he is alright, and asks why Sherry would keep chocolate bars in her purse.
"Chocolate is delicious. I'll have an iced tea, please. Ooh, nice picture."
"I'm fine, thank you for offering. I did not know that you had a brother, Rebecca."
Toshiro and his circle of friends did seem, unique. August wonders why Rishou is wearing a mask.
"Ya, Rishou is a super hardcore player. He does not speak while in character."
Rishou scribbles something down on a notebook and shows it to August and Sal.
"Nice to meet you."
"Still creepy."
Gunwoo did not expect August to speak Korean. First, the young man becomes overcome with shock, then gets down on his knees and starts bowing to Sal.
"I am sorry, great demon. Spare my soul from your wrath!"
Sal just stares down confused at Gunwoo.
"Pathetic. Stop it! So far, I like you the best, so don't blow it!"
Sal raises her fist up and threatens Gunwoo. He quickly takes his seat, and starts trembling for a bit.
In the kitchen, Gabumon asks Wormmon if he was in the bag this whole time. He realizes Dante must be a Tamer. Gabumon explains the situation to Wormmon. The Worm King makes a serious glare and scratches his chin.
"I see. Sal must be punished! Thank you, stranger. I have refueled my stomach. It's time to open up a whole pack of whoop ass on that she beast!"
Wormmon shakes out Dante's bag, making a bigger mess in the kitchen. He then starts crawling out of the kitchen, heading down the hall. Gabumon might have to stop Wormmon from exposing himself to people who might not know about 'mons.
Toshiro's game resumes with the new players added. Joining Sal's 'zon is August's futuristic soldier. Toshiro is playing a male Dwarf tank, Ryu is a female elf healer, Gunwoo is a male Human monk/sorcerer/fire bender knockoff, and Rishou is an Undead female Gnome rogue. Toshiro resumes DMing. (For simplicity, the game's characters will be referred to by the player's name, even if their character has a different name.)
"Okay, August and Sal, you two arrive in a small fishing town. There's a large thriving fish market, and trade is up. Ryu, 'sho, 'woo, we are outside the inn looking for suckers to plunder. I mean, we were earlier."
"How much xp do I need until I level up?"
"You still have 34 to go."
"What can I do to get some xp right now? Is there a quest board?"
"If you will stop interrupting me, I will get to that. We see the two newcomers approaching. I walk up and introduce myself. Greetings, travelers. What brings you to New Fishtown?"
"The town's name is New Fishtown?"
"Well, Old Fishtown burned down when Gunwoo got upset he lost a loot roll."
"I had that loot roll won and you blew the dice, lard boy!"
"Settle down, 'woo."
"Wait, are we talking, or are our characters talking?"
"Arr, arr? Is this demon a pirate?"
"I said, settle down! She does not do Pilates."
Sal leans over to Rishou.
"Um, do you know what's going on? How do I make my character kick Toshiro in the buttons?"
Rishou scribbles down on his notepad.
"Just say it, I guess."
"I kick Toshiro in the buttons. Wham, bam!"
"Roll for initiative... caught off guard, attack fails! I'm too short, and you are too tall. You miss, and I get a nice view, haha!"
"Grrr… stupid, STU-PIDDDD!..."
"Ahem. Toshiro offers August and Sal a chance to join our band of heroes, but first, you have to face me and Ryu in a one on one! Ah ha ha haa!"
*Scribbles on paper* "He means 2v2."
"When is it my turn?! Are there any elfish maidens around? Everything changed when the flame country invaded."

"It doesn't mean you should keep them in your purse twenty-four-seven," Rebecca responded. "Kind of obvious that they would melt if you did that..."
Sherry would then ask for an iced tea. Mayumi nods towards her and heads to the kitchen to get a glass. Dante then noticed the picture of Rebecca's family, saying he didn't know that she had a brother. "Yeah, I do. His name's Iki, and he's three years older than me. He's at work right now." Rebecca's answer sounded pretty robotic, with the combination of her shyness and the fact that talking about her family was still pretty painful to her.
Mayumi came back out with a pitcher of green iced tea and four glasses on a tray, as opposed to just the one glass. "Just in case you change your mind," she said as she placed the tray on the coffee table. "I hope you get your bag back, Dante. I cannot believe people in this city still think it's okay to just take things from others."
Back at the house, Toshiro explained why Rishou was wearing the mask, which was because he was a super hardcore player and didn't speak while in character. "...but why is he wearing a mask? I'm pretty dumb and even I think that doesn't make any sense."
Gunwoo seemed hilariously surprised by August speaking perfect Korean, and he bowed down to Sal, pleading her to spare his life. She, of course, threatened him to stop. "Do you have to be mean to everyone you come across? I can be hotheaded but I at least don't just go RIGHT to the yelling."
Meanwhile, Gabumon has explained everything to Minomon, who now has a serious look on his face. He also apparently knew who Sal was, and decided that she must be punished. Before me could make a run for the living room, Gabumon grabbed on.
"Stop...! There are humans playing in that room. Humans that don't know that Digimon exist. We need to sneak you out of here, before Sal or any of the other humans know we're here. But first, we need to clean that bag. I imagine Dante wants it back, and it smells horrid."

Rebecca explains to Dante that she has an older brother at work. Mayumi heads to the kitchen and returns with a pitcher of green iced tea. Upon seeing the multiple glasses, Dante changes his mind.
"You know, I will take a glass, thank you."
Dante did not want to impose more than they already were, but maybe it was more impolite to not drink anything. Sherry pours a glass and take a big sip.
"Ooh, that is delicious!"
Mayumi exclaims that she can not believe how people in this city act.
"Well, it wasn't a traditional mugging. I know the woman who took it. She was just trying to spite me."
Back at the house, August still didn't understand why Rishou is wearing a mask. The masked nerd scribbles down something.
"A better question is, why are you NOT wearing a gas mask?"
"Good point, Rishou."
"No it is not! I tolerate the mask, but I don't understand it."
August takes offense to Sal's treatment of Gunwoo. He asks the crazy blonde why she is mean to everyone.
"I do not tolerate stupid people, and there's a lot of stupid people I meet. If everyone was normal, I wouldn't have to get angry."
"You should practice breathing exercises. When you feel angry, just count backwards from 10."
"Whatever. I'm not the one with the problem, it's everyone else's fault."
"Do you hear yourself, lady? Why don't you take a good look in the mirror?"
"Why don't you? Probably because you are too short."
Toshiro swallows hard and trembles slightly.
"Words hurt, you know."
"Enough with the feelings already! Let's get back to the game."
"I don't know, maybe we should be talking about our emotions. You know, in a safe and friendly environment."
"I thought I was the only girl here. Unless Rishou is flat-chested."
Gunwoo doesn't know what is going on, and is getting impatient. He turns to August, the only one who can actually understand him.
"You there, what the hell is going on? Can you tell the short one to get the game back on track?"
Gabumon and Minomon have their own baggage to deal with. And by baggage, I mean a dirty bag. Gabumon grabs Minomon and explains that there are humans in the other room. The Rookie says they need to clean the bag.
"Clean? Clean?! The Worm King does not clean. Dante does the cleaning. Just run some water over it. I'm sure it's fine."

After the drinks were all served, Dante said that he knew the woman who took his bag, and that she was just trying to spite him. "She does not sound like a pleasant person."
"She also lives just down the street," Rebecca commented. "And she knows where I live now, so we might be seeing more of her coming down just to harass us."
"With the twins around, I wouldn't worry about that," Mayumi said with a smile, winking at Rebecca secretly.
Rebecca smiled a little. "Yeah... yeah, you're right, Grandma."
At Toshiro's house, Rishou writes on a piece of paper asking why August isn't wearing a gas mask as well. "Because I think it's a little bit weird? And at least you're able to take it off, I've seen goons with worse masks completely attached to their faces." Maybe August shouldn't have mentioned that.
Sal responds to August saying she didn't like stupid people, and that most people she meets are stupid. "That's not a real excuse. You just judge people based on looks, don't you? You'd align yourself with the most evil person imaginable if they had a bodybuilder's body, wouldn't you? And yeah, let's pause the game and talk about YOUR faults. Because from what I've seen, you're just not a good person. You crashed in on this game and now you're making these people feel bad about themselves. All for what? Some stupid bag?"
If Sal attempted to fight August after this, it would most likely be the worst idea anyone would ever have.
Gunwoo would then ask August to tell the "short one" to get the game back on track. "In a minute. If all goes well, the lady and I will leave and let you all resume your game in piece."
In the kitchen, Gabumon was not going to put up with Minomon's attitude. It was his vomit in the bag, why was he trying to get out of the cleaning? In response Gabumon glares right at the Minomon with a look of pure scary.
"You are going to help me clean up your vomit. Not a request, a demand."

Mayumi thinks Sal does not sound pleasant. Dante and Sherry just look at each other. Sherry starts snickering, stopping just short of blowing iced tea out her nose.
"Believe me, she's not!"
"You would be correct, Mayumi. Sal is, consumed by limitless rage."
"Just look at what she did to Dante!"
Sherry gets up and rushes over to Mayumi, leaning in closely and whispering. Though it was still audible.
"Sal, kicked, him, down THERE."
Sherry nods her head, way too close to Rebecca's grandmother. However, Mayumi's comment about the twins did seem peculiar to Dante.
"Okay, that's enough, Sherry."
Meanwhile, at the short one's house... August mentions it is weird to wear a mask, and says he's seen worse masks that were attached. This comment seems off, but Rishou does not flinch. He stares at August, remaining silent. August criticizes Sal, reminding her that she crashed the game, and says hurtful things to people. Sal crosses her arms and sticks up her nose in disgust.
"Hmph! I didn't know you were so delicate. I may have to seriously reconsider this relationship if you don't grow a pair and become a real man."
Even that wouldn't turn August into a real man. Not a real human. Sal looks at August and sneers.
"And what's this about looks? Who's this evil bodybuilder you are talking about?!"
"Uh oh. Does Sal need to be jealous? I wouldn't two time on you, if we were together."
Sal's brow becomes scrunched more than ever. Her face becomes red, as she clenches her teeth together.
"You know what? If everyone thinks I'm such a bitch, I'll show you! I'll show you all how nice and calm I can be! You beta males! Starting, now!"
Rishou scribbles down something and passes the note to Sal.
"KITTY MAID?! You're about to get a sex change, nerd!"
Sal gets up and stares down Rishou, who remains motionless.
"Uh oh. Ryu, Gunwoo, stop her! Gunwoo, attack, demon!"
Sal gets closer to Rishou. Ryu and Gunwoo grab onto her, holding her back.
"Grr, let go of me so I can cream this chump!"
"Wow, I can't believe I'm actually touching a girl! This is so awesome."
"She is surprisingly soft for a succubus."
Rishou ignores Sal and goes back to looking over his character sheet. Sal struggles trying to break free.
"I said, let me go! Baby, get these fools off of me!"
If you smell what the 'mons are cooking in the kitchen, Gabumon isn't putting up with Minomon's attitude. Gabumon tells Minomon he's going to help. Minomon looks nervous, glaring up at the taller Digimon.
"Oh, fine! I'll clean the stupid bag. Okay, I'm going to need soap, water, two cheeseburgers, and a hell of a lot of paper towels."

Mayumi listened in when Sherry whispered to her about Sal kicking Dante right in his no-no zone. She placed a hand over her mouth and gasped as a result. "How awful... are you sure you don't need an ice pack, Dante?"
"He's perfectly fine, Grandma," Rebecca said once more, before turning to Dante. "You are fine, aren't you?"
Before long, the TV would then display a commercial for someone that was pretty recognizable lately in Tokyo. The hit pop idol White Wolf was singing on screen for a commercial about her new song album. In response to this, Rebecca smiled and blushed, hugging her legs as she watched. "White Wolf... she's debuting her new album next week."
"She has a special connection to White Wolf," Mayumi explained to Dante and Sherry, "She's what's helped Rebecca become a bit more social after... well, the tragedy involving her parents. Without her, she would have locked herself into her room by this point."
Back at Toshiro's house, Gabumon's intimidating look was enough to convince Minomon to help with cleaning up the bag. "I will not be giving you cheeseburgers but we will need the other supplies you mentioned. And do not worry, I will help clean the bag as well."
Gabumon pulled the bag into the kitchen, trying his hardest not to inhale through his nose. He and Minomon would spend a fair amount of time cleaning up the bag until all the puke and horrid smell was gone. When it was, Gabumon would then put back on his holosuit. "Alright, hop into the bag and we'll sneak you out of here."
Things were not going quite as well in the living room. Through a series of circumstances, Sal has gotten so mad that she attempts to go after Rishou, only for Gunwoo and Ryu to grab onto her. Sal asks for August's help, but that was when Gabe would signal to August that he had the bag and quietly heads out of the house. August uses his thinking skills to get out of this one.
"Welp, I'm dumping you, Sal. Gotta go!" August would then head out of the house, meeting up with Gabe and Minomon. Gabe would explain everything to August as the two of them run as fast as they can back to Rebecca's apartment.

Dante is embarrassed that Sherry told this sweet old lady about his injury.
"Yes, I'm feeling better. Just worried about the twins."
The TV displayed a commercial for new pop idol White Wolf. Mayumi mentions Rebecca really likes White Wolf, and mentions a tragedy. Sherry gasps and covers her mouth, nearly coming to tears.
"My god, I'm sorry to hear that."
"That is so sad! I'm glad you found the inspiration to go on. You've gotta get yourself out there for the world to see!"
"That's cool you like White Wolf. I'm not into modern music."
"Dante's sister is a pop idol."
"Judith is a wannabe. She's too much of a spaz. But I guess it doesn't take brains to succeed in that industry."
Dante didn't know who he is really talking to, and how what he said is actually quite rude and stupid. Surely he would have egg on his face if he knew.
Meanwhile, Gabumon and Minomon clean up Dante's bag. Minomon looks pissed to be cleaning the whole time.
"Some day I'm having. I get stuck inside a bag, then a crazy person takes it, and throws me all around, so I get sick. Now I have to clean it up? How is this fair?!"
When they are done, Gabumon activates his holosuit and tells Minomon to get back in the bag.
"Oh, I have to get back in there? Such a terrible day!"
When things got hot in the living room, August notices his brother and gets the heck out of there. Sal stops struggling and turns her head towards August, almost appearing sad.
"What, you're breaking up with me? Wait, don't just leave me here!"
Ryu and Gunwoo let go of Sal's arms and she collapses to her knees.
"Stupid Dante and his clothing model looking friends. Can I just get that bag back and get out of here?"
"Well, uh, actually, we never took the bag. I don't know where it went."
"What?! You tricked me!"
Sal grabs Ryu by the moobs and twists. Ryu squeals out in pain.
"Stop beating us up, you stupid, sexy brute!"
"I think she's on the rebound, Ryu. Now is your chance."
Rishou speaks for the first time.
"Well, gentlemen and Sal, it's been fun, but my social time for the week is up now. I'll be taking all your game pieces and rare collectables."
"What the hell are you talking about?"
Rishou pushes a button on his watch. The room starts filling up with knockout gas.
"It's a trap. Damn it, Rishou. Quick, save my rare figurine!"
"Oh, you've gotta be kidding m-"
Sal passes out, followed by the others. Rishou stands up and brushes the game pieces into a bag with his arm. Rishou looks down at Sal and reaches down, groping her. He rolls Ryu over and positions them so that Sal's face is resting on Ryu's butt.
"You should have worn a gas mask."
A light blue portal appears, and Rishou exits with a bunch of nerd swag. The Digimon have already left the house, so they don't notice a thing.

"My friends are pretty tough," Rebecca said to Dante after he expressed his worry about the twins, "they'll get your bag back for you. Sal is nothing to them..." She knew that Agumon and Gabumon were better at fighting than Sal, so if it had to come to that they'd be the clear winners.
Rebecca wished that her grandmother didn't bring up the subject about her past. Now Dante and Sherry were both comically sympathetic and overbearing, which made Rebecca just curl up into a ball even more just to ignore them. She didn't need their sympathy. It happened years ago. Big deal.
This is exactly why she didn't like talking to people.
To add insult to injury, Dante makes a comment about how you didn't need brains to get into the music industry. Rebecca wanted to slap him silly right then and there, unleashing her hidden White Wolf side, but her Rebecca side took over still, so she did nothing. "I wish I could be more like her... she seems so confident, doesn't she?"
After a little big longer the apartment door opens. It was August and Gabe, with Dante's bag in Gabe's hand. Rebecca stood up after they entered, but her posture was still fairly reserved.
"Y-You guys did it! Did she give you any trouble?"
"I got roped into one of the worst game experiences I've ever had in my life."
"What?"
"We'll explain later. Right now, we have something that needs discussing." Gabe would then open up Dante's bag, revealing a little Minomon inside that would potentially crawl out. In response, Rebecca backed up a little bit, purely from surprise.
"Dante, you're a Digimon Tamer? I KNEW that's why you asked me that question earlier!"

Rebecca still seems confident that the twins can deal with Sal. When her grandmother brings up the past, Dante and Sherry's reactions make Rebecca feel uncomfortable. It didn't help that Dante unknowingly insulted Rebecca while saying it didn't take smarts to be a pop idol. Rebecca remarks that she wants to be more like White Wolf, sighting confidence.
"You don't have to be a star to be a superstar. Confidence comes from inside! You've gotta believe in yourself, Rebecca. When I'm feeling inadequate, I tell myself, "Okay, Sherry. Put on your big girl pants and get the job done. Nobody can stop you! You're the best! You can do it! You feel great!" Than I break out in a dance for a while, then eat some chocolate."
Gabe and August return, with Dante's bag in hand. Minomon pops out of the bag and plops down to the floor.
"Dante! I'm having a terrible day, and it's all your fault!"
Rebecca is surprised to find out that Dante is a Tamer, mentioning the question from before.
"What?! Does that mean Gabe and August are Digimon? Why didn't you let me know that you were a Tamer too? Was I too subtle?"
"Calm down, Dante! Stressing out is going to hurt your back."
"Bah, this is why Tamers need some kind of secret handshake or something."
Dante gets up and takes his bag from Gabe, then picks up Minomon.
"I'm sorry you're having a tough day. *Sniff sniff*, what's that smell?"
"It's nothing! That's probably just Sal's butt you are smelling. You really need to clean your bag, Dante."
"It's good to have you back. Thank you two for returning my bag, and Minomon."
"Can we get ice cream on the way home?"
"We live right across from here, now. There's literally nothing to eat on the way home."
"So that means you are signing the lease? Huzzah! A successful sale. Why don't we celebrate by going out to eat? Any suggestions?"
"Titty café."
"He means a kitty café."
"I know what I said, fool."
