It seemed like the girl was willing to bite if it ever came it to it. Scary. "I have been called simpleton more than once, to be honest. First time by somebody that is both as stiff as a board and that decides answering a question with another is an adequate show of those so-called manners, however." Once again, that reply was given on a pretty neutral, almost bored tone. "Maybe we should sign up in the 'manners' club together. It'd do good to the both of us, methinks."
Yuuya didn't seem like he was getting worked up regarding this conversation at all, and was mostly partaking on it due to... who knew why, really. Unwittingly, or maybe not that much, it seemed like his plan had, somehow, come to fruition. Would a fraction of his mind admit that Karin and Mikazuki looked good together? Probably not, as that was an offer that had been made on a whim. Right now, the shorter boy just focused on her bento. Who would've thought; talking that much had done a good job at keeping it relatively intact. Chances were he had work on that if he hoped to finish it by the time the bell rang once again.

"I'll pass, strongly. I belong to going home club, and there are no 'manners club' in this school anyway. Plus you should have known the moment someone answered a question with another, it's simply a strong 'no', or perhaps that much wasn't really a common sense?" Karin fired back.
On the topic of her cuisine... "Nay, I cannot cook the slightest, but thank you, I'll tell the chef of your praise." she answered. Does it pain her to admit her shortcoming in cooking? Not at all. "So why this spot of all place?" she asked. "This place isn't normally really used by anyone who looks like they have friends. They're usually used by people who wanted to avoid crowd, yet you felt like someone who loves crowd instead," Karin asked the blond boy.
She casually took out her D-Nexus and scrolled few names, then decided to press call.
...it wasn't long until someone on the other side answered.
"Sup?"
"Mind coming to the rooftop? I'm kind of craving smoked salmon bagel or something..."
"Are you serious right now? I'm not some food delivery service, not in the school."
"I know you're not, but I know you have some stashed~ I'll for pay it~? C'mon Ryou?"
Her voice sounded different, perhaps far more cheerful?
"Why do you think this is matter of money? Fine, fine, give me few minutes, I'm heading there. I'm seriously damned with a childhood friend like you."
"Why thank you, love you too," Karin sarcastically answered, then closed the line, just the moment when the door swung open and a black haired boy appeared.
"Fine, here's your salmon bagel, how much do you w--huh, with friends? I had no idea you're acquainted with Mika."
"Oh, you know each other? We just met today, and this guy invited me to sit lunch together with him. Please ignore that other guy however."
"...What just happened between you two seriously. Did this cat bothered you or something?" he addressed Yuuya before stepping forward to complete what he's here for. Ryouta took out the bagel from a wrapping paper and put it on Karin's mouth, one that she gratefully accepted, munching on it happily. Of course she passed about 200 yen to him, he that he simply put in his wallet.

Did Mikazuki say they looked like his friends? Scratch that, they WERE his friends inside other bodies! Down to the very mannerisms! The only difference is that Yuuya was a lot more biting than Junpei. the blond could only laugh along with their antics and play along.
That was until the question of why he was hanging out on the roof came up.
"Yeah, I love crowds! All my life was mostly spent alone or with people older than me, so meeting people of my age is amazing. But a lot of people tend to avoid us." He sullenly explained while taking a piece of lemon tartar and eating it absentmindedly. "It's weird. I don't know why, but Yuu-chan and Junpei-Kun always get glares and comments behind their backs while I get sad looks and some people saying that I shouldn't hang out with those Delinquents."
By then, the boy-giant went back to his saddened look. "I don't get it! Sure they are different, but that's no reason to ostracize them like that! I'm sure if people gave them a chance, they'd see how those two really are!" As he stopped, Mika's fist clenched and he looked towards the door. "We eat here because it spares them the stares, but I wish we could eat downstairs instead!"
And as luck would have it, Who would come out of the door but Ryouta himself. The other musclebound teenager's greeting, unlike the two teenagers, was met with a feat worthy of the Olympics. Quick as a flash, Mikazuki leaped at the other male, wrapping his arms around him in a bone-crushing bearhug. "RYOUTA-SAAAAN!" Mika exclaimed like a child. "I'm so happy to see you again! Did the delivery yesterday go well?! Look, we bought some stuff from Petit Draco! Do you want some?!!"

Was Yuuya bored? Entertained? None of the aforementioned? It was truly hard to discern right now, even though he seemed to be. "'Going Home' club, huh? Well, that's a good one; there sure a lot of interesting clubs nowadays." The sarcastic intonation couldn't be more obvious, even if he teenager truly tried, but it wasn't like that really mattered, anyway. What else could be said about the situation, and about Karin's comment, specifically? Well...
"Oh, no doubt about that; at least in your case, honestly. Attributing a generality to your answer seems like a way to make it more valid, however." He shrugged after that statement. "I don't think that your statement is true, anyway, nor that it excuses your poor manners while we're at it. But that's me; don't mind it."
Fancy wording for sure; while Yuuya wasn't the type to usually talk like that, given the fact that it made his speech sound slightly more imponent and confusing, it was a nice trick to use on arguments. For those moments, it seemed like Mikazuki had been left a bit on the side to make room for the two teenagers' bickering, but what else could be expected? Karin was a somewhat abrasive person, and Yuuya was the type that honestly didn't know when to shut up. A recipe for success, wasn't it?
He could comment on their mirrored counterparts, however. "I think that people that glare at others for how they look or act kinda don't have anything better to do. Same with the people who talk like they know everything about human relationships; it sounds like you're doing a very good job at ignoring them thus far. That's a good thing, I guess."
Actual encouragement, coming from Yuuya? Nothing short of miraculous. Sadly —or luckily, maybe—, his words would come to a sudden halt when it seemed like the scene was going its focus from his interactions with Karin to... a boy that while quite tall on his own, still managed to be shorter than the blonde. He focused on continuing with his lunch, at least until he got addressed by Ryouta.
"What happened between us?" The boy's usual monotone managed to show the slightest hint of slyness at that question. "Nothing at all. We're just strengthening our group bond or something. Gotta become friends as fast as we can, y'know? That's what High School is about."

"Yes, indeed," Karin replied "no need for budget, no need for membership, you can hang out with anyone as you please, chose your meeting places by yourself, do the activity as you please, don't you think that's the best club ever?" a jest? who knows. Karin definitely delivered it rather smoothly, without any noticeable emotional fluctuation. Still, the moment Yuuya spoke more about manner, Karin just chortled.
"True, it's not like I need a reason to be rude to someone I consider rude. Now that's a common sense isn't it? Cheeky tendency aside, perhaps you should focus on ignoring me and eats away on your meal? Lunch break is 30 minutes, 10 minutes spent arguing with me, aren't that nice? Twenty minutes left, and I'll still go on and on about this if you want."
Aren't that nice? Karin probably just hate losing though.
"I'll just say something," Karin addressed Mika "If one give you stink eye for just your image, don't bother correcting them. A pre-established image of something tends to linger strongly. If people think that I'm delinquent, I wouldn't bother correcting them. it's pain in the ass. I'd rather invest that on whatever I found productive. If people don't like me, fine, I don't like them too. If people like me? Holy shit, I wonder if they're a weirdo for liking a prickly girl like me? Either way, only invest your time on whatever you feel important. If you stop and bother on every single detail, you won't go anywhere.
That's why if I hang out with my friends I'll just ignore stink eyes... I told them to not bother too. I'm not bothered so they shouldn't be. Hey, if they have problem with how I look or how I behave they're free to bring it up to me. if they wanna bully me then I'll kick them to hell and back. That's how Takamiya Karin rolls. Haters gonna hate, and hateful cat gonna hate back~" the last sentence was accompanied with a grin.
Ryouta meanwhile... feeling awkward hugged by Mika. "...Eeeeh how about toning this down for now? Thanks for your patronage though. Yeah the delivery yesterday was well... How about you? Did you met with your friends yesterday?"
"Whaat, you were delivering something? Gee you should have come to visit," Karin protested.
"You just want me to cook for you."
"I'll not deny it~"
Ryouta sighed at that. Though, based on Yuuya's answer, he can see why Karin is abrasive to him.
"You're also the type that can't quit ahead huh?" Ryouta commented, chuckling. He obviously means nothing bad with that.

"Ehehe... the force of habit, Ryouta-san!" Mika's half-assed explanation had him blushing and retreating from the hug and just contently watching the expression on the group's face as they bantered away for many reasons, just glad to have company for once. Meanwhile, the boy-giant finally finished his bento, a lot more eagerly than he had started without his best friends around.
It was something that was a necessity to him, after all. Mikazuki was a person who thrived when surrounded by others, just having someone to talk and share his favors with. So many of the themes the group had been debating were not something he was used to considering, which meant he was having a hard time following all but the basic banter Karin and Ryouta were currently engaging in. "Before you go, Ryouta-Kun." The boy-giant called out, offering the last piece of chocolate cake on the makeshift picnic to the broader male. "Would you like to take something with you?"

Yuuya found himself shrugging at Karin's hilariously long-winded explanation. And the two of them, actually; since he had nothing to add in regards to a club that was as fictitious as the teenager's prospects for the future. "That's a nice way to see it. Demonize your adversary to justify the use of unsavory methods and harsh rhetoric against them. Sure you don't belong to the Political Debate Club? I'd almost say that the display was impressive, but it's kinda basic when compared to the president."
At least that was the good side of belonging to the Student Council; knowing when somebody was trying to play smart had been remarkably easier ever since he had been pretty much forced to deal with Evie and Yama on a daily basis. "You do have a point, though. Discussing with somebody who doesn't know when to give up is an exercise of pointlessness. Focusing on finishing lunch seems like a more worthwhile use of my time."
What an appropriate time, honestly. If three was already a multitude, then four... four was an absolute clusterfuck, at least in Yuuya's mind. He preferred to avoid the group's antics if he could avoid them, and limited himself to answer to Ryouta's own inquiry with another shrug. He didn't consider himself to be a stubborn person in the slightest, but then again, it wasn't like his perception tended to make sense, or to be accurate.

"Is there is a club like that?" Karin genuinely questioned "Doesn't seem to be my alley. Interesting, but I'd rather not tangle with such... heavily named club. Oh but if there are cats appreciation club do tell me, I'm good at that, would be a shadow member or maybe a faux bot that just spams cat pictures." Who can bring cats to the school anyway? That sounded like disaster brewing to be, but Karin seem to not mind the slightest.
"It was nice at the very least to have you concede to my point."
She'll take that as a win she guess, who knows? But either way... Karin just raised an eyebrow at Mika doing... well, Mika thing. She'll note to evade on sight next time whenever the huge guy wanted to hug her... While she felt like this might sounds like she's expecting a hug... she actually does. Ryouta said they met 'yesterday'...
...Which means that the guy is the type that got overly familiar quickly?
"Faux pas there," Karin reminded. "Unless you're in same grade... he's third year, you shouldn't go for -kun."
"Well, that's a bit right," Ryouta smiled a bit "It's a bit awkward to be called with -kun somehow by someone of my age. Not quite my style. Anyway, as much as I love my father's cakes I'll pass eating it on the lunch. I just ate anyway so I'm quite full. Well, anyway, see you guys. Gotta run back to the class I guess!"

Mikazuki rubbed his head, apologizing with a downright adorably clumsy chuckle. "S-sorry! I just really like hugs! It's my way of showing that I appreciate people, hehe." the explanation came in typical Naive fashion as expected of the blonde, who proceeded to munch on the sweets refused by Ryouta as he turned to the duo of incredibly tsundere teenagers currently in a verbal bout concealed as polite talk. To him, the nuances of the talk were lost, but he still tried his best to keep up... but it was not enough to get it all.
"Aaanywaaay!" he suddenly exclaimed, standing up and stretching before looking at Ryouta with a bright smirk. "Hey, Ryouta-sempai! Before you go, would you mind doing an arm wrestle?"

For all what Yuuya was concerned. Yuuya was done with his business at the rooftop. Karin had proven to be quite prickly, yet discussing with her had proven to be an exercise of pointlessness all along. Not like thinking that was indulging into an exercise of hypocrisy given the teenager's own nature. But it wasn't like he would delve on that too deeply.
On the other hand, Mikazuki seemed to be more than entertained by Ryouta's presence; in all fairness, the two juggernauts seemed to have a pretty nice friendship between them, to the point Yuuya himself wondered why he wasn't as close, if not more, with him than with the friends that had caused him concern in the first place.
Those questions would probably remain unanswered for the foreseeable future. For now, the teen had finished his lunch and even gone through the food that the blonde had gifted him. Thus, he decided to stand up, and after dusting his uniform, began to walk in the door's direction. "I guess I'll see y'all later. Or not, maybe. Who knows. Have a decent meal; or the remainder of it, at least."
He hadn't bothered to turn to utter those words, or to wave goodbye to anyone present; typical Yuuya, all things considered. [Exit]

Hmm, well that's rather fine for Karin. At any rate, Karin just looked at Mika as he asked Ryouta for a... what? Armwrestling? Ryouta looked rather conflicted too. He knows that Mika is strong, but... Karin pretty much knows what he's thinking... mainly the fact how he's used to fight with Digimons. He's not sure if he's fine with armwrestling, but suddenly, it's seem he got a short message.
"...Why don't you just try?" Karin asked.
"I'd love to... or honestly, I'm not sure if I'd love to, but apparently I'm called by the Home Ed. teacher. You see, I asked her if she can give me pointer to be professional chef and we agreed that I can stay along with home ed club members during the afterschool so she can give me pointers about what I'm missing and whatnot. She said that it's best for us to met soon to discuss the menu for tomorrow and such because the food must be bought, and the budget must be calculated."
"Sounds tough."
"Sorry there Mika. Though I'm kind of curious just how much you can bench really. Anyway, see you two later."
"I'll be here for a bit I guess. The air felt nice," Karin commented.

"Thank you! See you later, Yuuya-chan!" And as per the usual, the spite contained in the comment failed to so much as leaving a dent in Mikazuki's Self-Esteem as he waved his hand at the leaving boy, right as the talk between Karin and Ryouta changed to the big blonde himself. "Oh, you take home classes for those?!" Mika exclaimed in excitement, despite being denied the pastime (which, frankly, was mostly so he could draw some attention to himself). "I've been homeschooled for most of my life, y' know?"
With a pause, Mikazuki took a bite of one of the Tiramisú cake. "Totally! You're the first guy bigger than me, so I'd love to test myself against one of the sempais!" and to emphasize his point, the boy-giant proceeded to poke Ryouta's exposed arm before taking a step back and waving his new friend goodbye.
"Anyway, far be it from me to keep you! Have fun, Ryouta-sempai!" And with the goodbyes said, he beamed as he heard Karin would keep him company. "Thanks, Karin-Sempai!" Mika exclaimed in joy!
