The sun yet rises... [Amelie]

A nod was given. "That is okay. Most butlers tend to have reserved personalities. It'd be kinda unfitting if a butler was so extroverted it eclipsed its master's presence. It'd be a bit of an oxymoron, don't you think?"
On the same page, yeah. Building an underground city had been a rather demanding task; city building wasn't easy at all, and when to that you added the fact that you had to prepare the terrain itself while having into account Deeplane's own set of physics, that was... less than ideal. However, Amelie didn't let such a thing daunt her. And, to say the least, she couldn't complain about the finished product.
"But it was worth it." She replied with a smile. "I couldn't be more satisfied with what I've got. Watching the fruit of your hard labor function makes you feel special, I guess."
What could be said about the knights? At least, from Amy's perspective? Not a lot, in all frankness: however, that wasn't the only perspective she had access to, thankfully. "Well, my boyfriend is a member of the Knights, so I have some information about their whereabouts. I'd risk to say that K's legacy lives on. The seeds that she planted are growing into a marvelous forest, and if she were here, she'd be proud of it."
Regarding the pacing, the brunette didn't mind slowing down. A somewhat apologetic smile took over her face at her niece's amazement. Truth was that... "It'd be seven years in this world's time, by the way. Idk if that's a record in any measure, but I know for sure that we did our best. But yeah! We're not stopping here. Literally, the sky is the limit, and I'm not gonna stop until I'm pretty much forced to do so. The worst enemy of anyone's aspirations is the person themselves, and I'm not falling for that."
A bit ambitious? Yes, but this was Amelie who we were talking about. Nothing less could be expected. Thus, the duo began to walk into the city. Right now, they were by the outer northern edge, so she guessed that the most likely first stop would be... the housing district. While initially uninteresting, there was a lot to see around, especially considering the big building they stumbled across.
It was an inn.
"K used to be an innkeeper, didn't she? Before deciding to go out to adventure, I mean. Wonder if this building would've been to her liking."
Hopefully, Holly had enjoyed the trip around Deeplane, mostly because... Amy's D-Terminal began beeping, and rather annoyingly, at that. Almost as if knowing what would happen, she lazily opened it, just to sigh right afterward.
"I'm sorry. It seems like something quite urgent is happening; I'll have to suspend this small gathering, but make sure to come later afterward, okay? Remember that we're supposed to have tea together!"
Sadly, the farewell couldn't go a lot further than that; promptly, the girl opened a digiport in front of her and jumped right into it. Time to take care of less-than-savory matters.
