Egad, what adjective can she use here? Reckless? This is beyond that. Shouting "humans!" like that bound to catch suspicion if not done right. However, there are no time to reconsider. Koharu quickly lifted the manhole cover with help of Kon-chan and Warg. The three slides in and closed the entrance. This way they hope they're not being too obvious...
...Regardless, here they really can't use any sort of light, so Koharu instead slids something from her exploration kit, a night visor. This one grants her night vision, perfect for exploring places like this. She hope there are no Numemons down here, otherwise it'll get awkward of how to explain this to them... Thankfully, this being dark like this is a perfect time to summon her D-Nexus. The girl did exactly that, With the screen showing the minimap, she's hoping to at least get to it.
"...Hey book, keep me updated," Koharu would say toward the... possessed book.
Who is this pervert anyway, and where does it knows her name? Eh well...

Thanks to that timely distraction, Koharu's trio were able to get inside the manhole without raising suspicion. A brilliant plan, wasn't it? In any case, the insides of the manhole were somewhat bigger than their human world equivalent, so fitting inside them and then lowering the cover could be done smoothly as long as the digimons acted fast.
The night vision indeed would come in handy when exploring the dank tunnels they were currently traversing. One would've questioned why Eldoradimon had sewers, of all things, since it was pretty much a living being but... that was a detail at the moment.
What happened once the D-Nexus was activated? It'd show a complex net of tunnels that extended themselves far and wide. Right now, the path was simple. Either left or right, but once they reached a crossing? Then all bets were off. As of right now? The diary seemed to be eerily silent, at least until the group approached the first crossing point. It's the leftmost path. You've still gotten a pretty long road ahead of you, though. Be careful. Not as chatty at the moment, it seemed.

Being alone, partners aside, in this sort of place made Koharu honestly very nervous and tense. After all, she's in the belly of the enemy, quite literally, oh dear. It's a maze too. She wondered if Amelie will be alright. Calling out human like that is like shouting potential terrorist at large, which she can't believe that it'll end with just a simple admonishment. She got her anti-analog jammer, but what about Amelie?
"Aneki, eyes to the front," Warg reminded.
Koharu snapped back to attention. "Sorry, I'm out of it."
"I know how do you feel, but you should focus on this. Miss Amelie would know what she's doing. For better or worse, let's just say that Spirit Users tends to be the most resilient among the humans. They must think quick after all, and I'm sure Miss Amelie understand this. Come now."
To the leftmost huh... Well, she'll follow the direction of the book. Kon-chan at the back meanwhile is ready with silencer on her gun. She's hoping that she doesn't have to use it, because boy... guns are loud, and sniper rifle is louder... silencer at least would help.

Amelie's adventure was probably the last of Koharu's worries at the moment; the underbelly of Eldoradimon could be a very treacherous place if the teenager wasn't careful around it; one wrong turn and she could find herself in the face of a very unpleasant situation, and possibily jeopardize this whole endeavor altogether.
It'd take them roughly twenty minutes to get towards it, but they finally had reached it; a giant, vault-like opening was ahead the group. It stood imposing, yet definitely suspicious. What was something like that doing in the bowel's of Eldoradimon's sewers? At least if one asked the book that Koharu was holding, the answer would be rather obvious Here we are. Yup, the artifact wasn't very enthused about this whole deal. But honestly, who could be? This place reeked even more so than the other sections of the sewer system, and there was this ominous aura about it that could make anyone who drew closer to feel a degree of unease. How would the group get through such a massive, yet closed opening? Time to see what they could do about it.

Vault? In here of all place? What's this even? Koharu knows that behind this the atrocities are done... however, she had no way to actually bring this down. She could technically try with Warg's Plasma Blade and all that... But won't it gives away certain amount of sound? Either way, for the meantime... Koharu pointed her D-Nexus at it. It should shows the door's material, unless this one is protected against such thing...
...In which case, she probably fucked up royally. Amelie probably have way to counter this sort of obstacle, but for the meantime it's not time to worry about Amelie. She's also a sitting duck. She hope that whatever going on here, she could do something to pass it.
"................Say, Book, while we're waiting, tell me more about this place, and what's behind here. I'm... curious of what's ahead."

Black Digizoid. It seemed like this place had put its safety measures in place, and Koharu seemed like she was at her wits' end regarding how to counteract such an obstacle. Maybe there was a way of getting in undetected? Maybe the book knew about it.
In any case, it seemed like it became a bit more talkative again, even if a bit somber on its words. It seems like this place hasn't been opened in a while, judging from how the whole opening mechanism seems kinda dusty. Maybe you can just tear the thing open and hope nobody's inside? That'd be hella convenient, even though I don't know if effective at all. Your guys should be able to blast this door off, shouldn't they? Hopefully without making too much noise.
Anyway... what can I say about this place...? Well, once we enter, you better brace yourself because what you'll see won't be pretty. And that's an understatement of my part. I just hope that you have a stomach for this kind of deal, because... well, because it can be real bad, even if it feels like I'm repeating myself.

"I don't really know how to blast this thing..." Koharu answered... Well, she probably have some, but it's risky... Should she do it? "...Though I guess I don't really have any other way... Warg, you have something that could help with this right?"
"You mean Megalo Atomic Blaster? Yeah, I do have something like that."
"...Well, considering laser does not explode... And the fact that it pierces through defenses..."
"Yeah, that makes sense. Stand back."
Koharu evolved both Warg and Kon-chan to their perfect stage. Kon-chan readied something that looked like an automatic shooter, She nodded to Warg who started charging his Atomic Blaster. It might take a bit while, so Koharu started to talk with the book.
"Well if it comes to gore, I don't think I'll have the stomach, but I'll try my best I guess..." Gosh how she wished she have Amelie's spirit power of able to sense something without actually seeing them... Would being with an aberration of that class prepares her for what's ahead? She doubted it, but...
"..Fire."
Warg immediately fired, hopefully without the noise. If there are any enemy that dared to come in, Kon-chan's shooter drones would definitely shoot them.

The result of Warg's action would be more than obvious. An Atomic Blaster against vault gate was a more-than-obvious matchup. A hole big enough for the girl and her devolved partners to enter was created; it could be expanded if a more conscious and precise effort was made, but it was unknown whether Haru wanted that or not, however.
What was behind such a place? If there was such a thing like a laboratory, it was in ruins now. Things like torn research notes and broken test-tube like chambers were scattered everywhere, yet one thing was for certain.
The stench of rotten meat was overpowering, to the point that most humans would gag after a mere sniff. Was there anything truly salvageable hidden in these long-forgotten ruins? That'd take some searching! Especially since the book was acting oddly quiet; what could be the reason?
In any case, Koharu had two options; either search the place for more clues or... fulfill the promise the group had made to the diary. Would this be the corpse's final resting place? The decision was ultimately hers.

....Probably best not to waste time. Kon-chan seem to be concerned if they're to be completely defenseless while inside, so instead she compromised that both her and Warg are to devolve down to their adult stages. They should be small enough to pass the hole made by that blaster. Either way... uh... let's see, what to do first? Thankfully Koharu already wearing the oxygen mask, but Kon-chan and Warg practically hurled as the smell assaulted their nostrils.
"Motherfucker, this place was like still active until recently it sounded," Warg commented, gritting his teeth. "There's no way this sort of stench would stay for more than seven years Digital World time!"
"Whatever is in here, he got some sick humor. Anyway..." Kon-chan looked at the surrounding area. "...Book, which one would you prefer, buried here or would you like to look for whatever there? I'd like to discover what's going on personally."
Koharu solemnly agreed. However, she's wondering whether she want to use the no hand light just to check the area... God, this gonna be some mortal kombat level of gore isn't it?
"....Let's go, you two."
Regardless, they'll press ahead for the meantime.

It was strange; very, very strange. The book had gone completely silent as soon as they had entered this place. It wasn't responding to any stimuli, nor to Koharu's words. It was... strange, wasn't it?
Just as how the stench from a place that looked abandoned from a fair bit of time managed to persist despite the nature of the Digital World regarding the data makeshift of most living beings. It was hard to not have a hard feeling regarding this place.
While the laboratory's ambiance was rather spacious, it was rather painfully constant; broken stasis tubes, experimentation tables, ruined desks, and scattered notes seemed like pretty much the only things that Koharu would find.
Yet... not everything would remain the same for long. While faint at first, the rumbling sounds of something approaching became more and more obvious as the time went on, and once close enough, they'd feel like a veritable avalanche of lower limbs racing towards Koharu's current location.
What could it be? And, ultimately... did that matter? Whatever it was, chances were that it wasn't exactly good news, considering everyone's situation.

Plan? Well the plan for the meantime is to check for any writing for whatever detail happened here. The paper hopefully would shine some of the circumstances that happened here, but either way... looks like they're not alone. Warg and Kon-chan looked at each other and sighed.
"Ah fuck, here we go again," Kon-chan cursed. That rumbling definitely does not sound good the slightest. She tossed another suitcase, this one definitely the same drone as before... only weaker. Fuck her life though, would her previous drone mobile enough to be called down here?
"...Get ready for combat. Koharu, Your no hand light might be something that we need later when we're facing against an opponent that's not zombie. But for the meantime we need to get used to the darkness... Could you tell me what's ahead?" Warg added
"I'll try, but I can't promise you I can see anything there is..."

It wouldn't take long for a figure to phase through the ceiling of the trio's current location. While decidedly amorphous at first; its form became apparent as soon as it hit the floor and a cloud of fractal code dispersed. Yyyup, that was Amelie.
She panted from exhaustion for a couple of seconds before turning around in order to face the girl; something relatively hard to do in the room's darkness... if it weren't for the fact that she was carrying the means to locate her.
"Haru, Haru! Can you hear me?" She called out; no time to waste. "While I was diverting the people on the surface, an alarm suddenly sounded and everyone rushed to a tunnel inside one of the government buildings and I traced the path it leads towards this place! I think it's related to whatever happened in this place. The number of digimons approaching is large! We won't be able to deal with them all. We need to leave this place now! I don't know how much time we have left!"
The situation was, obviously, not optimal; didn't help that book was remaining silent, albeit now it seemed to be shivering. "Have you taken care of the book? I don't know how much time we have left. Let's hurry and get out!"

Can she hear her? Loud and clear alright. What the hell? Koharu was trying to give Amelie a bit of a drink to at least tell her to breathe or something... But there are no time. Thankfully, Warg, knowing how urgent it is, immediately goes to dig the floor, enough to bury something six under and put the casket and the corpse inside. After muttering quick "Namu Amida Butsu", he quickly covered the ground with the dug earth and covered it nicely. Kon-chan meanwhile already took pictures... And quickly stashed her D-Nexus away.
"We got everything covered. Time to bail!"
Warg quickly lifted Koharu. Screw any sort of formalities at the moment. Time to bail, time to bail hard. Kon-chan quickly packed her drones, knowing well enough that if she leaves anything that going to be a lot of shit involved. At any rate... Where should they go out now?
"....Look for any sewer exit! If it's possible to dive to the water with the submarine, LET'S DO THAT!" Koharu commented.
Now that they have casted away the skellyton, there should be some more space, right?"

To say the least, time was of the essence. The precious seconds that Koharu had spent on burying the remnants of their benefactor had proven to be crucial; what seemed like an angry mob of digimon was at the doorstep. Time was running out.
The worst part? Amelie couldn't even conjure the strength to evolve again, no matter how hard she tried to do so. And without any kind of exit in sight —except the one they had used as entrance— it seemed like an engagement in less-than-ideal conditions would be in order.
Or at least, that's how things looked theoretically. Probably nobody present was counting with a ray of unadulterated energy piercing through the back wall of the laboratory, carving a mew path where there were none before. That was... "Quite convenient." Amy noted. "Did you call for backup with KIZNA?"
Sure, the brunette was curious about the whole deal, but that question was probably not very fitting for the situation at hand. "You know what, forget about it." Her gaze then focused on both black dragons. "Can any of you give me a hand so we can exit this place? I'm afraid I won't be able to evolve for a bit."
All in all, it seemed like their exit had been set, and unless further complications spawned down the road, they were all set! The book had, understandably, gone oddly silent ever since the act had been made, but a promise was a promise, right? Somehow, Amelie was sure that such act would be honored. One way or another.
For now, the young woman craved nothing more than being inside Van Eltia. This had been a long day.

Even doing it while Amy is explaining is not enough it seems! Koharu honestly was semi ready, brandishing her Digivice. Her heart beats so fast like never before. Adrenaline pumped to her system, making her even more restless. It's a do or die situation it seems... but Amy cannot fight. Dammit... what should she do, what should she do?
And when all thing seemed bleak, there seem to be a new entry made. "..That was convenient, yeah, but that's nor from any of us. The one who knows that we'll be here would be Kei, but he's not even in the level yet," Kon-chan answered, lifting Amelie. "Now excuse me because I don't have any sort of time to carry you in more apt way."
With Koharu on Warg and Amelie on Kon-chan, the two pretty much bolted out from there. Warg breathed smog to hinder vision of their oncoming chasers just in case. Honestly, the human and the dragons really just want something less adventurous next time... although they guessed that it won't be as easy to return to their normal lives after this. Considering they're pretty much acting as a spy and is about to air rotten taint of El Doradimon's government.
