Backpack Contents: A large ebony handbag outfitted with several zippers and compartments of varying sizes that hold just about everything she'd care to carry. It's sleek enough to see your reflection in it while remaining a sturdy travel companion.
[li]A set of seven notebooks[/li]
[li]Makeup Palette, Nail Files, and Bobby Pins[/li]
[li]Fujitsu Lifetop PC[/li]
[li]A small box of latex gloves[/li]
[/ul]
Digivice: A XrosLoader fashioned out of polished wood with the controls made out of a sleek blue resin. The symbol of crossed lightning bolts is etched and embossed on the top of the device, just past the aged screen, fitted with a backlight composed of several different greens.
Personality: Whatever you do, do it til you drop. That's the one rule Ritsuko has lived by from day one till now. If she has to use your own words against you, plan her work around you, go through your friends to get to you, she'll do it and she'll do it to be the last one standing no matter where she is. Kiry prides herself on knowing what steps to take to succeed no matter where she is, even if she can't do everything by herself. That's why she wants to make it clear to people that she's a consistent, reliable person, even if it usually makes her seem overbearing and intense. It's why she tries to stay current and informed, at least online. IRL? You might as well be an afterthought in another world. The standards she holds to herself more often than not affects the standards she places on others. She doesn't hesitate to correct and advise, often bluntly and without explanation unless asked. People who can't understand the concepts she does or can't follow her lines of logic confuse her; she's so used to people being more educated than she is that having to teach anybody would confound her completely. Ironically, understanding this, she often defaults to saying "Follow me!" even when that isn't as clear.
Appearance:
Credit to @megamoon#9703
Ritsuko's classroom appearance and more casual appearance look like two completely different people-
While in any formal environment, she finds herself tying her straight hair back into a neat bun, with two locks straightened out to the front that fall on the sides of her face. A face transformed with some competently applied blush and red lipstick for special occasions. From her array of blazers and dresses, each article of clothing that composes her ensemble is the same matte black as her hair, without the shine it takes on when she styles it, that is. Whenever working at a computer or slaving over a notebook, she's wearing her completely circular reading glasses. If she's gotta use something that isn't hers, she might put on a trusty set of latex gloves, and she's definitely not going anywhere without a teal mask if she's sick. No matter where she is, walking in her stockings and flats and with her handbag at the ready, she's free to tackle whatever challenge the real world has to throw at her.
As for just about any other occasion? It's something Ritsuko would like to call "nothing special". The only rule for the style? Be anything that can be worn with her trusty golden-button shawl that she wears almost all the time. White shirts, minimalistic graphic tees, primary colors. As long as it's out of the way, clean, and fits her size without stretching out, it's getting worn and worn again five days later. Despite her relatively gargantuan figure, she doesn't mind wearing shorts or capris of the like, considering she doesn't wear much other than sweatpants otherwise. When it comes to shoes, it's either low-cut sneakers and socks or simply flip flops. There are no exceptions to comfort for comfort's sake
But no matter what she's wearing, she always puts on her golden, spherical earrings without, an ever present part of her look.
Personal History:
Ritsuko Kiryuin. Someone never to be described as lax or lazy...or at least she was determined to become that way. It seemed clear to her that the busy, ceaselessly working lives of her parents was the way to go for as long as she’d been alive. After all, they got to go wherever little Ritsu couldn’t. She regularly had to go between relatives’ houses, and as far as she knew they always had to be somewhere more important that fit under a magic word they called “business”. Whatever business they could possibly have, Ritsuko wanted a part of it! If it took them so far away sometimes, she’d have to ask her parents about it whenever she could. One day they were talking to people, on the others they were constantly at a keyboard, they dealt with papers and all sorts of pens, out of nowhere it seemed like she was hanging over their shoulders and clinging to their ankles just to try copying what they did. But, as she grew, she discovered a whole other side to her life; the kids around her doing the exact opposite.
The kids she met didn't look at the boring-looking desk work she knew so much about and start idolizing it. They weren't concerned with anything adults would call important at all. The sports they played, the card games they yelled about, the videogames they whispered cheat codes for...To her, there was just as much of a world to understand here as there was to all the things she could do behind a desk. There was a time when she had such a habit of being distracted by toys she wanted or games she played that anyone watching her, parents or not, would probably have to rip her away and sit her in front of something else to have any effect. Why couldn't she have her cake and eat it too? If she could drown herself in both worlds, she'd find a way to do it without anyone else getting in the way!
Sure, she'd sit at something and do it until someone had to rip her away, but if she was put in front of something else, she'd just have to do the same thing. From the latest videogame to the newest subject in science, she made a point to constantly split her attention and fill each hour of her day with something to busy herself with. This was something that didn't work all the time, if at all. Getting better and better before getting exhausted and performing like she'd just run a marathon beforehand repeatedly became the story of her life no matter what it was she was doing. Ritsu would have plenty of stories of getting irate at part-time jobs whenever she was too tired before a shift. Sports were always a concern in the few years she did them because it seemed like she didn't know how to pace herself. Waking up too tired to properly ace a test was a nightmare she seemed to always repeat in reality.
The nickname "Killer Kiry" was a strong one, but a pitiable one as well. She'd shred others in practice, successfully tutor others in her class, make a point to try and break a record in every club she joined- which rarely worked, despite the promising lead up she often had. But then when she really needed to show up and show out, she'd bomb completely and it'd repeat every few months. She could kill the competition, you just had to let her take everyone else out with her when she does. It seemed a shame to others that she'd easily be able to get somewhere with whatever she had if she just had the will to commit to it. Amazingly, the only thing that did seem to award her "'til you drop" effort was the internet. She may have switched clubs every couple of months, but tech was something she did non-stop. If she wasn't studying, the rest of her time was spent knocking herself out in front of an MMO. Raid rotations came to her as quickly as script optimization.
Online, "Kirame" was a name to be lauded and feared, a macro warrior and vicious code monkey in all aspects. In reality Ritsuko Kiryuin was just a scarily intense wannabe who constantly had members of the Robotics Team flock to her. Despite the consistent disappointment she felt whenever she failed at something she'd been ceaselessly preparing in real life or online, she just assumed that this is what life was and always will be. She was working her tail off and had a group of people who liked her some of the time, so she could easily survive that way.
But now that she's staring down the barrel of her last year of Secondary School and the responsibilities of adulthood, Ritsu still has to answer the question of what's important to her. If she wanted to get anywhere in either of her worlds, she had to be determined to answer that question. Each day now she swears she'll figure it out, even if it kills her.
Ritsuko Kiryuin thinks she's got something to prove.

Gender: F
Alignment: Neutral Good
Skills/Talents:
Recognizing Emotions
Encouraging Allies
Keeping Track of Conversations
Inventory:
Ornate Wooden Staff
C# Tactics Compendium
A Red Half-Moon Necklace
Personality:
Sumina is a Wizarmon with only the light in mind. It's a perspective she's honed from her training as a diplomat in order to serve as an advisor. While not something taught to her, she's always felt like the perspective was something missing from the round table. It was important to carry an objective perspective to advance the wills of the Union, but to care for others in the area they fought? To find problems outside of their paid service? She made up her mind from the minute she was allowed to carry the compendium, there was a place in the world for those not spoken for. But, like Amina, that's not all she really thinks. She doesn't just want to speak for the helpless, she wants to create a place for them, just like what the Union did for her. Sumina hangs around Amina so much because she agrees that conquest and war are necessary to make anything new. Even if she wouldn't admit it, she wished she had the same mind for war that Amina did. In her mind, Amina has taught her that you have to tear down the old to get to the new.
Personal History:
There was a time when intrepid young Digimon, surrounded by their fearsome world, each stuck in their own programmed lives, wished to find a different path. There was running and surviving, maybe fighting and risking deletion, or there was learning. These young Digimon came together, determined to educate themselves on how to thrive in the Digital World with the books they'd retrieved and experience they'd gathered over their lives, all led by a Digimon far more powerful than themselves that they called the Grand Commander. They were far from the most knowledgeable about what they read from books, but they kept them alive, and if the others taught themselves one thing, the commander could run it back with them ten times over. The first to complete their training were a Wizarmon and a Sorcerimon who'd found each other in the Village of Beginnings, seeming like they couldn't leave each other alone without going into a panic. They'd each completed books on Military Tactics and Diplomacy respectively, keeping their respective books to remind them of each other even while separated. Now, after being made advisors for the Grand Commander, they began to make a name for themselves as mercenaries. The Union of Unix were fighters for any side that could pay, after all, they kept their clients alive and their clients allowed them to train and better themselves through combat. Wizarmon often had her own thoughts about the help they gave and the battles they won, where they should move to expand territory or how to fight in order to strengthen themselves, but she left it to Sorcerimon. He often did the same for her, and from then on it was clear that they were working for the commander instead of with each other. So when he vanished in a contract they were serving in the Empyrean Skies, they were left to decide if they could handle being apart or if they could stay together.
Their companionship proved to be a necessity, something they could barely even talk about, let alone argue about while the rest of their comrades seemed to scatter into their winds, fulfilled with the times they had. Out of all of them, they felt they'd changed and grown the least. Submitting to that, they began wandering together once again, barely talking to each other about their time within the Union. It'd all come full circle, and all they'd gotten out of it was the silent treatment.

[PASSIVE] Language of the Program - The digimon’s knowledge of the Digital World allows its attacks to become more effective against any enemy she’s fought and defeated before.
[ATTACK] Thunderstruck - A sorcery born from a script of programming language that generates a lightning bolt above a single enemy, striking it.
[ABILITY] Terror Chains - Immobilizes up to three enemies with literal chains of fear for a single post. Cooldown of four posts.

Exploiting Fears
Recognizing Authority

Inventory:
Ice-Laden Wand
Python Tome of Diplomacy
A Blue Half-Moon Necklace
Personality:
War is the principle Anima will live by for as long as his data holds consistency. There's always a point where defense will be necessary, and there'll always be a way to defend in the best way possible. He has the skills after all, he was trained with them as an advisor. So he intends to use them, even if they're not immediately necessary. Someone like that is useful for any leader, and he's been a good resource ever since he joined the Union. He isn't going to stop now. But there is something he finds tough to admit. Amina finds it near impossible to be satisfied with the reasons he has for fighting. Far too many times, he's answered the "Why?" question with "Because I Can." He argues with Sumina near constantly about it, but while she tries to assure him, there's always a doubt in his mind that he has the head to think about it. Whenever he looks at her, he can't see him doing what she does, even if it's the one thing he wants.
Primary Partner 2
Species: Sorcerimon
Appearance:
Attribute: Vaccine
Family/ies: Nightmare Soldiers, Wind Guardians
Type: Demon Man
Fighting Style: A Master Tactician by trade, he knows exactly what you won’t expect. To him, addling your brain and slowing your movements is just a good way to survive. When he’s on the field, a harsh winter won’t be too far behind.
Abilities:
-[PASSIVE] Deceptive Diplomacy - This digimon talks slick even in a fight, riling up their enemies. Decreases an opponent’s accuracy as long as it’s spoken in the last turn and hasn’t used a named attack
-[PASSIVE] Download Speed - Named attacks made against this Digimon become less effective the more they’re used, becoming completely inert if used five times in a row.
-[ATTACK] Ice Ice Sacrifice - Creates a solid clone of its body using a sorcery that it can fling at a group of up to three enemies to shred them with frozen shrapnel.
-[ABILITY] Cyanosis - Uses a sickening sorcery fired from his wand like an icy blast. It lowers the body temperature of an enemy to dangerous levels, dealing it cold damage over time for three posts unless it has an ice attribute, in which case the effect is reversed.

Attribute: Virus

Fighting Style:
Abilities: [7 Abilities Max]
Digivolves From: Sorcermon
Partner Name: Tachyon
Gender: F
Alignment: Lawful Good
Skills/Talents:
Skilled Mechanic
Observant Spy
Swift Pilot
Personality:
Tachyon was named so for her constant focus on time. Cheerful in conversation and stoic in work, but constantly aware that she needs to keep moving and keep buzzing on to the next person. Some might say the job of a scout in the Union embedded itself into her thoughts, but as far as she was concerned, time on lookout was time well spent. Though, there is a part of herself that persisted from before she entered the Union; a deep-seated hated for the intentionally malicious. Ignorance can be forgiven, nature can be accepted, but dedicated evil is completely unacceptable, sending Tachyon into a buzzing rage. In her mind, there's no quarter for anyone who'd willingly wrong someone else, no matter the degree of the action. Even a particularly bad prank would still warrant an outburst from her as she's unable to separate the act from the loss of productivity and collective annoyance it causes. She won't ever let time be wasted on causing any harm to the innocent, not even from her own allies. For this dilligence, the "Compass" in her title refers not only to her scouting abilities, but also to the unflinching adherence to morality she holds.
Third Partner
Species: Tentomon
Appearance:
Attribute: Vaccine
Family/ies: Jungle Troopers, Metal Empire, Nature Spirits
Type: Insect
Fighting Style: The Trusty Compass of the Union! Identifying weaknesses and setting up opportunities for its allies to exploit is its one and only love. If it ever needs to defend itself, villains should prepare for a certified bug zapper to fry them and dye them in poison the minute they get close.
Abilities:
[PASSIVE] Scanners: Can recall the location and identity of any enemy its seen with the keen sight of its compound eyes to assist in planning attacks.
[ABILITY] Fly on The Wall: If an enemy is within sight and the digimon is out of sight, it can spend a post immobilized to watch the enemy and gain insight on one of their weapons, gear, or possible weaknesses. Can be repeated without cooldown as long as the digimon isn’t spotted.
[ATTACK] Ferrofluid Spray: The digimon sprays a caustic black solution from their mouth onto the enemy, poisoning them and making electrical attacks more effective. Cooldown of three posts.
[ATTACK] Shaky Shocker: The digimon rubs its silicon wings together and generates enough static electricity to shock the enemy it runs into. Silences an enemy sprayed with ferrofluid for a single post, preventing them from making named attacks. Cooldown of three posts.
Digivolves To: Kabuterimon
Partner Name: Captain (Cappy)
Gender: M
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Skills/Talents:
Mecha-Fu (Electrified Kung-Fu)
Acrobatically Trained
Knowledge of Deities
Personality:
To be a fighter is to know that you won't always have to fight. But, Captain's chief frustration is knowing that there's always a fight to be had and he won't be a part of it. Not being able to do what he's been trained to is, for him, one of the great paradoxes of life. There are a lot of those, at least according to him. And since it seems no one's willing to make sense half the time, he's taken it upon himself to assert his own thoughts about whatever happens whenever it happens. That's why he's called Captain...and why everyone else is only willing to call him "Cappy". Despite his seemingly headstrong disposition, he's quick to accommodate if someone can prove to him that they've thought it out better than he has because in the end, all he wants to see is a job ended well. This ends up turning into his Achilles Heel whenever he has to be the last one standing; once he's alone, nothing can get through to him.
Fourth Partner
Species: Aegiomon
Appearance:
Attribute: Vaccine
Family/ies: Nature Spirits
Type: God Man
Fighting Style: The Caprine Muscle of the Union! A feisty fighter with enchanted strength and knowledge of several fighting styles. For Cappy, victory may be the job, but pummeling the enemy into the earth is just part of the fun. Never, ever pull this satyr away from a fight.
Abilities:
[PASSIVE] Storm of the Battlefield - The digimon is gifted with an electrical soul that powers its very being and everything it does. The Digimon is able to gain stacks of Voltage through specific moves or when an ally hits them with an electrical attack. Stacks are depleted outside of combat.
[ATTACK] Feedback Buster - The digimon shifts the flow of electricity to their hooves, jumping up to an enemy to give a shocking drop kick. Stacks of Voltage can be spent to increase the strength of this attack.
[ABILITY] Running Voltage - The digimon can choose to enter defensive combat with an enemy, fuelling its desire to protect and gaining stacks of Voltage for each post its able to sustain close combat with them. The digimon using the move cannot attack other digimon or make any other named moves, but still takes damage from other attacks at this time, effectively stalling the targeted enemy while it charges. Cooldown of two posts.
[ATTACK] Gigapascal Pummel - The most powerful attack rush Aegiomon can dish out, frying the enemy with a flurry of blows. Stacks of Voltage can be spent to increase the strength of this attack.
