The Sailing Master had absolutely hit the nail with that deduction. This became evident when Yiro’s eyes widened as he pointed at Koharu. “T-That might be it!” He remarked. Of course, this conclusion had been based on Fuu’s input, which was also correct. “Someone changed the name of the Silence Forest on the map. Probably to mislead others…” The Gabumon seemed to be interested in this matter. Without a doubt, Detective Fuu (With the aid of her too assistants) seemed to have come to something. “We should ask the captain if she knows anything about that symbol.”
The meal went without anyone talking neither about the symbol or the engraving on the Radio Receiver. Who was this Luna? And what did this symbol mean? Apparently, the group would ask about it later. Instead, the lunch was basically Erika compliment Yui’s cooking skills. This was really, really good! The pirate seemed to be enjoying this particular dish, which was accompanied by a toast and a lot of beer, as usually.
Since no one asked her anything in particular, the conversation on the table focused on Yiro (who also gave some compliments to Yui for this delicious sea bass) and his life on Uka Island. The Gabumon had been separated from his brother since he decided to be a pirate and left the island. Since then, Yiro had lived on Uka Island by himself, working in the Ukakaka Inn as Fugamon’s helper.
Once eating was done, the clock showed it was 5:00 pm and the sunset had started. Before they noticed, it was already 10:00 pm. How had the crew spent the last 5 hours?
Bu and Kon would be able to eventually find the right probe with the right hoe to fit the Receiver. The machine would then ask them to throw the probe into the sea, in order for the echo-sounding instrument to be calibrated. This would not be a very difficult task, so no need to say much about it. The two would need to take the item to the deck (luckily, the hoe was long enough) and throw it off-deck and into the sea. Once they did, the screen of the Radio Receiver would show a message that read “calibrating” over a bar that moved very slowly. This would take, definitely, a while. Hopefully, once that was done, they would have a very interesting item on board!
Koharu would have to draw two more islands in her book, which made the Pirates of the Treasure almost halfway through in their route towards Krago Island. They had already gone by 6 of the 13 islands they had to go by. According to the map and to Koharu’s growing experience as a Sailing Master, there was a long stretch until they reached the next island, which they would go by at around 4:00 am. Should she get some sleep? She would probably need the energy for tomorrow
Warg wouldn’t have much work to do during this time, Yiro kept sitting on the deck, remaining as focused as he could on learning his first technique. Honestly? He was improving! He was already able to spit a stream of water for around three seconds, although the substance still had no healing properties. With more time, he would definitely be there.
Detective Fuu wouldn’t have much luck with her investigation. There didn’t seem to be any other weird sign around the ship, or at least none that she could find easily. Instead, maybe she would be better inquiring further about the information she already had.
Right now, Erika was just hanging above deck, looking at the moon that shone above and lightened up the sky while he leaned on the wooden railing. This was the first night they were going to spend together as a crew and the captain seemed to be excited about it. Maybe it was a good time to talk about certain stuff! After all, they needed to gather all of the information they could before getting to Krago tomorrow.

What a relief, Yui hadn't made a colossal blunder in assuming the pirates liked themselves some sea bass! In addition, she got to have a drink with her partners, teammates, and her captain. A truly wondrous turn of events, in the eyes of the elder Kita. Meanwhile, Bu was quite certain that whatever this device held would make more sense when everything was up and running, but she had no proper way of estimating when this would be. While she awaited the movement of that bar on the screen of the receiver, she went to go and see what else she could find in the crates below deck that could prove useful for the receiver, if anything.
With detective Fuu, though, the fact that that barrel was the only one with that mark made it all the more suspicious. So, when 10 pm struck, she and Yui came out onto the deck, with the Dorumon seeming insistent upon leading this conversation. "Hey, um, Captain? Mind if I ask you about something?"
If allowed, she'd then continue. "Back on Uka Island, I noticed a symbol on the map of the town, and...well, I thought nothing of it then, until some discrepancies had popped up regarding the island. Like the name on the forest being different and the like. Then, uh...I found that same symbol on a barrel here." She'd move to the barrel to turn it over and show Erika the symbol. "...What is this?" She finally asked.

It's late, honestly, it's quite late, but... Koharu honestly had this feeling that if she sleeps, she's going to be having a problem down the road. What should she do? Either way, she probably should just began asking question to the captain right? She got her notes down right here. Not to mention, Kon-chan decided that she should be the one to watch first, then Warg. She suggested Koharu to go to sleep considering she's the human, thus the battery that powers the two up.
The sailing master however still wanted to ask whatever mystery was on place too be honest. Mainly... what Kon-chan told her, and what they just found. Fuu asked the question first, so Koharu decided to go with her flow. "...There's something that caught my attention too... Mainly... apparently Kon-chan recalled you said the Inn's name as KiriKiri Inn, which is not its real name. You said you're bad with names, but...
The initial in the post was KKI, which honestly does not make someone think Uka Kaka at all... where do you get that name? There's also someone named Luna in the probe machine. Is she somehow related to you, perhaps? Another sister?"

Lunch had definitely been awesome. And, what was more, the captain was happy to see most of her crew on deck to talk to her. She always loved talking to her crew! “Of course, Fuu.” Erika crouched to pat the little Dorumon’s head while showing her one of her tender smiles. She just couldn’t help doing that!
As the Dorumon elaborated on the question, Erika stood back up and leaned against the rail of the deck. Her eyes, right now showing a green color, followed the critter as she explained the situation. Right when she revealed the symbol, the pirate tilted her head. “I don’t know if I've seen that before…” She muttered.
“Did you really see that symbol on the map? You guys are very good observers!” She scratched the back of her head while showing an innocent smile. “I totally missed it. I wonder what it means…” Her expression changed into a pensive one.
Yiro, who was not too far from them, working on his technique, went to explain how he had helped Kon and the rest by telling them the name of the forest had been changed in the chart. This, along with Koharu’s question, definitely helped the captain understand everything a bit better.
“Well, I wasn’t lying. I’m terrible with names.” Erika admitted, looking at Koharu. “I have no idea where I got it, and I don’t think it’s related to any modification made on the chart…” However! That did posit an interesting fact. “Considering Sister and her crew were one step ahead of us during the whole mission in Uka Island, I would say they were the ones who changed the chart, probably to mislead us. Maybe they left that mark there to somehow leave a stamp that they had changed it?” Well, it was clear the pirate wouldn’t put past Barbara to do something like that.
That only went to confirm what detective Fuu seemed to be inquiring about. “That probably means they knew we were going. So…” Once again, she looked at the symbol. “… they might know our every move while we're on this ship. We might be sleeping with the enemy right now.” She remarked, her expression as serious as it could be. “While this is only a mere deduction, I can’t say it doesn’t make sense. It is possible the Chaos Pirates are marking the places where they’ve been, and that includes the map and the Age of Erika.” She folded her arms, acknowledging the serious threat this meant but knowing there wasn’t much to do about it. “I guess the best we can do is try to inspect the whole ship and see if we can find another clue.” Not much different from what Fuu had been doing so far, honestly!
That brought them to Koharu’s second question!
“The...” Erika blinked twice, thinking where could have they gotten that name from. “… Oh! The Radio Receiver. So it has Aunt Luna’s name…” She muttered, her index finger on her lower lip while she looked at the night sky. Well, time to disclose a bit more about that. “As I told you earlier, I’m not keeping secrets from you guys anymore. I just thought it would be better if you discovered about my past once we reached Krago Island since being in the actual spot where everything happened would help you understand a bit better.” Yes, that was something the captain had said.
“Luna is a well-known priestess of Krago. She is also a scientist and… ugh! She does a lot of complicated stuff I don’t understand. But she is very smart.” The pirate admitted, her eyes glimmering a bit. “She’s actually partly the reason why we’re going to Krago. She and Popoko are my only other friends in the world, besides you guys, of course. They raised my father, so I guess they could be seen as my grandparents… although I don’t call them like that, that’d be just weird…”
Anyways! “Popoko is a historian. He knows a lot about pirates. So he probably knows more about the Treasure Hunters and how to get into Grimway. I actually left Krago a month ago without asking any of the important questions…” She mused. “… Ugh. I can see an earful coming.” She let out a sigh with a terrified expression. “I’m guessing Aunt Luna made the Radio Receiver for my father, then. She is very nice. You’ll understand everything a lot better once we're there but… she saved my life.”

"Yeah, we did, but I only made the connection a while ago...So, I figured it had to mean more than just that." Fuu elaborated some, before Erika added her own thoughts onto the matter. "Yeah, that's what I think too. But that barrel's the only other thing that's marked that I can find so far...Should we get rid of it? Because I'll toss it over right now if I must." She nodded.
"I can help with that, if you'll allow me!" If they had to go and inspect the whole ship, then it only made sense for Yui to offer her services in sleuthing the ship out. Before they both left to go do that, they wound up being privy to Koharu's inquiry and the response that it had elicited, too. Hm. "...Well, so long as we learn more about this thing as a whole, I think I'm okay with finding out more about this at Krago Island itself." Fuu mused.
With that, they set off to go search the ship for a few hours, before they'd hopefully be able to get some sleep.

While Erika's tale undoubtedly very interesting... Koharu's focus the meantime is at the fact that they're taped or spied, and they had no idea how those works. But.... at the same time, how does they work then? Does the item give some sort of signal if two symbols are in close proximity of one another?
"No, we probably missing something..." Koharu concluded. "...I'm going to check something out about the barrel. I think I'll help Kon-chan with checking the rest. Ummm... Warg, try to watch out for suspicious stuff if you don't mind."
"Aye, roger that," Warg answered.
"Kon-chan, the captain is informed of the situation. Please search the whole ship for any sign of tampering."
"Heard loud and clear."
"As for me..."
First, Koharu had something from the mission three days ago. And that's why... She took out some pixie dust that she somehow collected from Barbara. She applied it to the barrel's symbol to see if there is anything. As precaution, she also aimed her D-Nexus there to check.
Kon-chan meanwhile walked toward the lowest part of the ship... the cargo basically. With the help of no hand light, she began her search. For now, she's focusing in the crate with no name on it. What is in it really?

Although it was not a very pleasant situation, the Pirates of the Treasure seemed to be kind of hand-tied until they found more information about the whole issue revolving around this mark. While the possibility of the Chaos Pirates spying on them was a good deduction, it was solely that: a deduction.
Erika studied the barrel with the mark after listening to Fuu’s offer. “Well… Koharu said she analyzed it with her D-Nexus, didn’t she? It doesn’t seem like that particular barrel is causing trouble. If Sister were to spy on us, I doubt her spying object would be a simple barrel with a quite-visible mark. So… I would say it’s not necessary to toss it off the board. I wouldn't want to contaminate the sea with it. But if you think it’s necessary, go ahead!” She punctuated that with a nod.
Raising her hand into the air, the fire of determination appeared in the pirate’s eyes “Being a detective definitely sounds exciting. Let’s search this whole ship for more c-!” While she spoke, Erika’s eyes closed for a second, her body tumbling to the side. She managed to stop the wobble by placing her hand on the rail in order to keep standing and reincorporate. Her eyes widening, she just looked at her crew. “I-I’m sorry.” Her voice sounding a lot less briskly than before, she apologized.
“I-I must be… tired.” The confession came accompanied by an uncomfortable smile, the girl scratching the back of her head. “I’ve probably used too much energy these past few days and I haven’t rested enough.” Yiro, staring at her from the other side of the deck, squinted. “I should probably lay down for a bit.” The pirate stated, walking away from the rail and seemingly heading towards the stairs. “If you need anything, I’ll be in my room. If you want, you can go ahead and start looking, or you can wait for me and we’ll look around tomorrow.” With sleepy eyes, Erika waved at her crew, before leaving the deck.
Why had she lost all of her energies so suddenly? This was certainly not a side of their captain they had seen before.
Bad news were to be found by Kon. The unlabeled crate was the only one with a lock! For some reason, that specific crate couldn’t be opened without a key. Looking around the ship was starting to turn fruitless, too. It seemed like unless they knew exactly where to look, there wasn’t much that they could find. No other mark or any other clue about them being spied on. What was more, the Fairy Dust would show no reaction upon entering in contact with the mark they had already found. With the Radio Receiver still being calibrated, there didn’t seem like they could do more than keeping on the lookout, keep their chart updated, and keep moving forward! And… of course, getting some sleep. Tomorrow was the day they would arrive to Krago Island, so they better be prepared.
And just like that, the day arrived. It was now 10 in the morning of the next day. Twelve hours had gone b, and the panorama had changed greatly. How did things look on deck right now? Well, for one thing… Yiro was fast asleep on the wooden surface, the morning sun posed upon him. No! That was not the important part!
The horizon! They were going by the twelfth island! Did that sound unlikely? OF COURSE IT WAS! There were thirteen islands on their way to Krago! Why were they so close? The answer lied in a certain item Bu and/or Kon had already checked by now, probably.
The Radio Receiver! At some point during the night, it had finished its calibration. The result? The room where it was located was now illuminated by a green glimmer, coming from the screen of the machine, which now showed a radar and a map. One the same screen, some words could be read in digimoji:
“Calibration completed.
Connection to the wheel completed.
Default destination: Krago Island.
Taking the fastest route.
Auto-Pilot activated.
Estimated arrival time: 1 hour.”
One… ONE HOUR!?
The Radio Receiver was not only up and running, but it had also optimized their route to Krago Island (why did it set itself to that island by default…?) to take the right tides and winds to get there faster. And they were almost there! Someone better went and told the captain. And someone better prepare breakfast too, no disembarking on an empty stomach!

The mere fact that they were being spied on felt kind of frustrating to Fuu, and the fact that they couldn't even figure out how the hell these rats were doing it was arguably even -worse.- "If it's not that, then what is...?" ...She was actually starting to look a little distressed from this. That was, however, before Erika nearly stumbled over. Both Yui and Fuu were ready to scramble to go help the captain up, but she thankfully caught herself on the railing.
"Captain..." Yui began upon hearing the explanation that Erika provided. "...Speaking from experience, everybody needs to sit down and take a rest sometimes. We should all probably get some sleep and get ready for tomorrow." With that, Yui broke off from the group to go to bed. Fuu did, too, but her destination was a bit different. See, she went right for Erika's room to knock at the door. "Um...Captain? I don't know if you're still awake, but...is everything alright?"
...However that went, the next day was a different story. See, Fuu and Yui had been sleeping, with the latter just barely starting to wake up to go get breakfast ready, but Bu opted to wake up early to check the receiver, and...
...
That was a shocking thing to read on screen. Autopilot? What? The Ryudamon practically ran to the captain's quarters solely to yell the following ungracious speech. "CAPTAIN HOLY FUCK THE RECEIVER THINGY FINISHED IT'S THING AND IT'S PILOTING THE SHIP NOW."

That is... interesting so to say, but at the same time very alarming. What causes the sudden shift of the captain? There is too many things that they had no idea about their captain. The captain is open, but at the same time seem to withhold information from her crewmates. This is obviously understandable. Koharu doesn't mean to pry, but in rare case where Barbara actually... hijacking their captain, now that thought is scary However, she does not seem to be the type of Digimon that is able to do that... at least Koharu felt so.
Perhaps it's better to one day ask Erika to allow her to clean up her room or something... It felt like there will be something there. Should she also have her watch just to make sure that she know they're not doing this out of maliciousness, but just worry of their captain?
"Hey," Kon-chan's voice came out from the D-Nexus. "The crate is locked. I'd love lockpick it, but honestly I don't think we can do that due to no tool at all... I'll try to look in the tool crate if there is any lock picking tool or sort... I think we'll need it in our journey..."
"Sounds like something to tell Hikaru to have."
"You can say that again. Anyway, I'll be looking for more. You should sleep."
Koharu heed that. Warg meanwhile keeping for lookout, and Kon-chan switched him midway, then Warg again... By the way, he wasn't able to notice the fact that the ship's autopilot has hijacked by a certain system. The moment the sun raise, that's when they noticed...
FUCK
"OH HOLY SHIT!"
Koharu quickly jumped out of her bed and put on her clothes. Bathing? That can wait for later! She quickly deployed her capsule kitchen on the deck.
"Yui-san, I'll handle some of the food. Please just cook whatever half you want and tell Bu and Fuu to handle the seating."
The sailmaster has turned into a cook... well, this way they can prepare fast enough. Koharu's dishes of choice is omelette fried rice with orange sauce chicken, and some orange juice. Scurvies are pirate's worst enemies after all! Thank goodness for automated assisted kitchen, otherwise this going to be a bad time.
Warg meanwhile with the help of D-Nexus quickly draw the map. He wondered just since when they deviated from their track... While this is good to avoid the Chaos Pirate if they tried to tail them based on schedule, it's still way too sudden...

A lockpick in their pocket (and hopefully some rest in their bodies), the Pirates of the Treasure had made it to the morning! Although sleeping with Fuu was probably one of the most relaxing things Erika had ever done (it was just like having a breathing, fluffy plushy!), the process of her waking up had been a bit aggressive. “Dad!” She gasped while her eyes opened up aggressively and she reincorporated on the bed. Immediately, she took her hands to her mouth, realizing she had let that escape. She was too tired last night to go into any details about how she felt with Fuu. She let the Dorumon go in and she fell asleep before they even got to talk much. This didn't stop them from sleeping together, which was honestly quite comfy for the human. How was Erika feeling today, then? Well... not entirely better. In any case, it seemed like her conflicting thoughts emerging had not been the reason why she woke up. Bu was calling for them. “We’re going!” She replied, caressing Fuu’s head to wake the little critter up. After taking a quick shower, the captain put on her clothes and went out. Today she was wearing her pirate outfit, which was fitting, considering they were disembarking on Krago Island later. What Erika would find out after a quick chat with both Kon and Bu was that… well, they were disembarking a lot earlier than expected. While they had the –quite delicious- breakfast their Sailing Master had prepared, and after they had wakened Yiro up, the group had a much necessary chat about the recent turn of events. “I see…” Erika muttered before taking another bite of that omelet. “Aunt Luna definitely assembled some amazing machine. And it was thanks to you two that we got it to work.” She showed a tender smile to both Bu and Kon. “Thank you a lot, girls!” Then, Erika went to consider the reason why the Radio Receiver was taking them to Krago of all places. Even if that turned out to be extremely convenient, how did the machine know they were heading there? Well, it probably didn't. “… Well since it was Aunt Luna who built that Receiver for my dad, I assume she programmed it so it would take him back home by default.” That posited a very interesting question. “I wonder if that can take us to other islands that quickly too…” She muttered, while she zipped from that orange juice. That was definitely something they’d have to check out later! From the distance, Krago Island definitely looked A LOT bigger than Uka. A wide, green meadow extended immediately after the shore, leading to a city that could only barely be seen in the distance. Behind that metropolis, a mountain, which stood above any other hill in the surface. Once the call of “Land Ahoy” was issued, the procedure was pretty much the same they already knew. The ship would stop next to one of the docks and Erika would detach the black anchor off one of the sides of the Age of Erika, only for it to be attached to the white podium of the docks next. Then, the device deployed that tray again and gave them the golden key. “Who is keeping the key this time?” She asked, looking at her crew, while they went down the wooden ladders. “Do you want to have it again, Fuu?” It was their decision to make. The only thing Erika knew was that she could not be trusted with it, she was too clumsy for that! Once that was settled, the group started walking through the shore. Considering the beach on this island was quite minimal, they would get to a wooden old hut in less than a couple of minutes. “Here we can take a carriage that will take us to the center of the island. That’s where Krago City is located. Aunt Luna and Popoko live at the foot of the mountain.” Erika noted, showing another smile to her crew behind her. That morning was far from sunny at the island, even to the point of being a bit cloudy. While Yiro stared at the sky, turning darker by the second, their captain knocked on the door of where their vehicle was supposed to be provided. So… how was the island so far? Krago was definitely charming. It seemed to lack a lot of the most basic technology the rest of the Digital World had, while it bestowed some other instruments that were just at the same level of modernity. For example? Some areas around the docks had TV screens but, according to Erika, the vehicles to go from there to the city were simple carriages pulled by Boarmons. That was an interesting combination! Although their captain didn’t seem to know if the fact the island kept a sort of medieval style regarding some things was intentional or not. While they waited for whoever attended this place to open the door, Erika seemed a bit nervous. Actually, besides the scarce moments where she had been too distracted while talking to them, she didn’t look too well. She kept staring at the sky as if she was constantly thinking about stuff and her eyes lacked the amount of energy they usually bestowed. What could be troubling the captain? Was it something solely physical? And, in case it was, was she just tired? Her loose right hand seemed to be… shaking. Yiro looked at the crew, before glancing at his captain again. What were they going to do about this… situation? Should they wait a bit longer to see how things developed or…? OOC: The thread has gone back to Regular Mode. Activities from Cruising Mode that were not completed can be finished when the crew enters Cruising Mode again.

It was worth a shot. That's what Fuu had thought when the captain let her in and couldn't speak much before she fell asleep. The Dorumon figured that the best thing she could do was stick with her through the remainder of the night, and so she did. The captain's sudden awakening nearly made the Dorumon jump, but she managed to hold her composure, and she reached out to pat Erika on the head. "...It's okay, you're fine."
Meanwhile, Yui was glad that she didn't need to prepare anything substantial, and prepared some stuff to put in the omelet with Koharu. Meant that everyone had time to enjoy that omelet. As Bu listened to Erika provide a guess on what exactly the device did, she tilted her head. "So your aunt...meant this device to be a way for your dad to come home..." She murmured. They'd have to learn more about this later, certainly.
The trio stepped onto the dock and peered around, with Fuu looking at Erika with a face that betrayed a lot of concern. "I'll take the key again, yes...What will we do once we get off the carriage?" A pause. Yui tilted her head at the captain. "...Erika, your hand..." She uttered.
"...I'll ask again, is everything okay?" Fuu finally spoke.

...The captain is definitely not as energetic as before. Speaking of which Kon-chan wanted to open the crate with lockpicking, but she doesn't have enough time. Looking for the lockpicking tool ended up taking much of the precious time, so she decided to just hold it for the meantime. Maybe the captain misplaced the key somewhere. But still... one thing that bothered her... is there no one that guards the ship?
"........I think after this, we should definitely put on some surveillance system, probably ask that to this 'Aunt Luna' person," Kon-chan commented. "That, or new crew member. It's unthinkable that someone just... let the ship just simply stay there like that... If our rival crew is trying to sabotage our ship, that'll be the time honestly..."
"Can't you leave a drone?" Warg asked.
"No can do. My drones are made out of temporal data. They won't stay long enough for anything like that to alert us. And my drones aren't the surveillance type. They're attack types. I'm sorry but I really can't do anything about that."
"...I see, that's a pity indeed."
But one thing that makes Koharu even more worried is the captain's hand. Did she used too much energy? Yet something felt... wrong. Something felt... different in many ways. Ever since back then... something felt as if it's strange...
"...Captain, would you like me to diagnose you?" Koharu asked. There's the capsule facility after all...

“I do feel a bit worried about no one staying to guard the ship.” It seemed that the thing that was bothering the rest of the crew had not gone past Yiro either, especially considering this time around they were going to be far away from their vessel. At first, he wanted to volunteer to stay but… seeing Erika’s situation, he felt it was for the best if the group stuck together. Their captain blinked twice, before taking her eyes away from the cloudy sky and looking at her crewmates. Apparently, Erika herself hadn’t noticed how bad she looked. “You think so? I do feel a bit… tired, still.” She admitted. “Last night, I genuinely thought I was just tired from everything we’ve gone so far, but…”The sound of the door of the hut opening alerted the group. “Welcome to Krago’s Carriages.” A yellow, insectoid digimon hanged from the old knob of the door he had just opened by swirling his body around it. “Right now we don’t have any drivers ready. But please come in.” He offered. “O-Oh.” The captain turned to look at the digimon, nodding right after. “Thank you.”“T-Thank you.” Yiro repeated while the crew entered the hut, assuming everyone was okay with it. It was a pretty old, rusty and humid place, with only a few chairs and beds scattered around. “We have a couple of carriages ready, but it’s possible some of our drivers had stayed back in the city because they thought it was going to rain.” The insect admitted, looking through one of the windows at the cloudy sky, which turned darker by the second. He shook his head and jumped on top of an old counter with a kitchen next. “May I offer you some tea or water?” He asked, turning towards the crew while Yiro and Erika took a seat. She normally would have said 'no' to anything that's not beer... but considering how she felt… “I would like some tea, please.” Erika nodded while Yiro shook his head to indicate he didn’t want anything. The pirate girl then turned towards Koharu to respond to her offer. “M-maybe when we get to the city you can check on me?” She suggested. Then, she addressed Fuu’s question. “The carriage will leave us at the entrance of the city, then we’ll have to walk through it. It’s a nice place, I’m sure you’ll like it…” Since it seemed like that sentence was not over, everyone stayed quiet. After a second or two, Erika seemed to be struggling to say the Dorumon's name. “Fuu?” Yiro asked, quirking an eyebrow. “R-Right!” Erika nodded. What? “Haven’t I seen you before?” The Kunemon asked Erika while he put the water to boil and crawled back towards the living room, where the crew was having their conversation. “Who knows…” The human placed a finger over her lower lip, trying to remember. “… maybe?”“Oh!” It seemed, however, that the Kunemon had managed to get a grasp of his idea. “I think you used to live on this island, didn’t you? You and your sister liked to play around and were always getting in trouble.” “Yes. I lived here!” The captain seemed to be sure enough about that. “I stopped seeing you two after the incident…” The Kunemon muttered, kind of thinking to himself. “... And that was six years ago. W-Wait... weren’t you sick?” “M-Me? I don’t think so…” As the exchange between these two progressed, the tension raised inside the hut. “Uh… weird. Maybe I’m mistaking you for someone else.” “... That might as well be.” Erika remarked with a smile. Once he made sure he wasn't interrupting anyone, Yiro asked the obvious question while looking at the insect. “The incident?”It looked like this was a story the Kunemon had told many times. “Our island was almost destroyed six years ago. We call it just ‘The incident’” The insect made a quick pause, trying to remember what had happened to this certain girl. “There was this human who lived here and got this weird disease after the incident. For some reason, I thought it was her.” He noted, looking at Erika. “But I wasn’t very involved with the whole matter. You know, living this far…” The very vague explanation continued. “… If only I could remember what effects did this disease have...”The sound of the boiling water interrupted the conversation and Kunemon’s thoughts. “Oh. Your tea is ready.” The owner of the establishment clambered back towards the kitchen. “Was that part of the story you were going to tell us here?” Yiro asked, turning towards Erika. The pelted pirated gasped upon seeing the girl’s face. The expression the crew would find on the captain's countenance after this exchange was… one of pure terror. Her eyes widened, both hands on her mouth, the captain looked absolutely terrified. “W-What’s wrong, Captain!?” Yiro asked, jumping off his chair. At first, the girl was having trouble to speak. Even if her lips tried to move, it took her some seconds to actually issue words. What she said seemed to actually terrify her more. “I… d-don’t remember.” She admitted. After some seconds of silence, it seemed like Yiro had reached some conclusions. “W-Wait…” He made a pause to articulate. “Y-You forgot Fuu’s name just now, didn't you?” He asked, walking closer to their captain, who still seemed petrified. Now, it all seemed to be making sense. It was like every piece was fitting into the puzzle. “The reason…” The Gabumon muttered while all of his ideas came together. “… The reason you were waiting for us to get here to find out about your story was…” He made a pause, realizing how bad this was. “... It was because you can’t remember yourself, right!? You weren't hiding stuff from us, you forgot about them!” Yiro looked at the girl into her eyes, just about as scared as she was. “You’re not bad with names! Your memory! There’s something wrong with it, isn't it, captain? Answer me!”Slowly, tears started going down Erika’s cheeks. “I remember now.” The Kunemon entered the living room again, in the middle of a catastrophic scenario. Carrying a tray with tea above his head, he revealed what everyone seemed to know now. “It was definitely you." A murky tone of voice, the insect looked at Erika. "You are Treasure Hunter Krono’s daughter, aren’t you? You were the girl who got sick. They said you were sleeping for five years. Your sickness was erasing your memory.”Slowly, Erika’s eyes closed as she fell to the side. Before her unconscious body would hit the floor, Yiro caught her. “CAPTAIN!”

"I don't think it'll be too unguarded here...There's people at port, right? So...Maybe they can keep watch for us." Fuu nodded a few times at Yiro. It was a perfectly valid concern to hold, but it was a risk that also needed to be taken. Yui tilted her head at Erika. She thought she knew what the captain was going through, having had some similar experiences in staying up for a ridiculous amount of time, but...The tiredness never persisted.
So, what the heck? Regardless, the trio waved in greeting to the Kunemon and went inside. "Yeah, we can get to the city, find a place to rest at and then check up on you." Fuu replied to Erika after a moment of silence. Why...did she forget her name? What was happening here?
Bu remained silent as the Kunemon spoke of the incident, and a disease...That he couldn't remember what the effects were. A connection slowly started to be made in the Ryudamon's head, one that was shared by her sister and her tamer. Was...Erika the human?
"C-Captain?" As the living room seemed to devolve the slightest bit into chaos, Fuu seemed to grow more and more alarmed at the captain's condition, which culminated in Erika fainting. Fuu scrambled to help Yiro catch and hold up the unconscious Erika, unable to say much in terms of words and looking like she had just seen something horrifying, while Bu and Yui remained about as stoic as one would expect.
In fact.
The latter snapped her gaze to the Kunemon, taking a deep breath. "...I hate to ask this much of you, but can you put the tea down and help us with her? Er, actually, could you answer a few questions? Namely, what's the Incident and what's the captain sick with? Hell, what's going on with her right now?"
It was pretty clear that Yui was trying to stay calm, but doing so was...a herculean effort. One she probably couldn't maintain for long.

"Can you trust them?" Kon-chan asked back. "I don't want to be cynical, but it doesn't help that... our ship is marked like that. What's the mean of all that marking? Not to mention the Chaos Pirates knows what we're doing as if they got their eyes on us. Any workers on that piers could be any of them... that's why we need something that we can trust that it will works, or get hold into something that they use to watch over us."
Tiredness... this is suspicious alright. Just what has she done? Either way, Koharu took the capsule facility just in case. She's not about to risk anything happened to her captain either way. They're going to enter some hut to wait for the carriage it seems... She could just offered for them to ride her Van Eltia, but they probably going to look crazy while doing it... so probably waiting is the best...
...And there comes the exposition. Koharu, Warg and Kon-chan just silently listened to the exchange between the three... about how Erika looked familiar, the way she can't even pronounce the name of her crew. At first, Koharu thinks that it might because she's bad at names, just like she did. That's why she secretly registered her captain's name as "Eririn Danchou" mentally. Fuu and Bu's name is short enough without any sort of nickname. Yiro is also short enough... but there are too many Erikas in her memory list.
...Either way, looks like her case is not as bad as Erika though. As someone who lost her memories, Koharu knows how it feels, but... to lose memories until now, that's utterly ridiculous. What's more, this happened six years ago, and Erika is the victim? Sounds like epidemic if you ask her. More and more, this getting urgent. Koharu had no choice.
"We should bring her outside. I know it's going to rain but we have no choice. We have to check on her posthaste!" she declared. Outside, the black haired cartographer tossed the ball containing capsule facility to the ground. It immediately unraveled. Koharu quickly put her D-Nexus on the entrance and activated the Medbay module.
"Get her here," she ordered to her partners "Every second matters."
Should there be no disturbance for that matter, Warg and Kon-chan would carry the unconscious captain and put her on the scanning capsule.
"I have several theories for this, but I'm not a researcher, nor I'm a doctor, but God... This is getting complicated by seconds!"
