The situation had turned extremely complicated, to say the least. Although he seemed to be trying to remain calm, as the scenario developed the Kunemon was getting more nervous. “Y-Yes!” He reacted to Yui’s comment and placed the tray on the floor. The insect accompanied the crew outside, staring in amazement at the medical station deployed by Koharu from a capsule. While the capsule studied Erika’s status, the Kunemon decided to answer the questions Yui and the rest might have to the best of his abilities. He and Yui remained in front of the hut, while the captain of the Pirates of the Treasure got checked. “The incident involved a giant digimon attacking Krago City, the main metropolis in our island.” A pause, as cold as the air that surrounded them, punctuated that sentence. “I have always lived here so I wasn’t in the city at the moment.” He raised his view, staring at the clouds. “I remember looking by the window and seeing something… massive above the whole town. It was absolutely terrifying. I’m not sure what caused it. I don’t know what made that… creature appear. But it was definitely nerve-racking.” The insect didn’t seem to have many details about the situation, although it sounded fairly traumatizing for him. The Kunemon went on to answer Yui’s second question, most specifically about how Erika had gotten sick. “I’m sorry. I really never heard about what the disease specifically consisted of. The whole situation was handled by her family and, although they didn’t do things with secrecy, I wasn’t especially close to them. I know her aunt and her uncle have done a lot for this city and are very loved and respected among the town folks.” Well, at least they had gotten some information. “I did hear her aunt, a priestess named Luna, was treating her while she remained unconscious for years. Before that happened, she had started to lose her memory. I didn’t know that she had woken up or had left the island, though.” It didn’t seem like he knew what was happening to her right now either. Why had she lost consciousness? That was one of the questions Koharu was trying to answer. The initial exams weren’t throwing much information about Erika’s conditions. She showed a high fever, although the reason why she had fainted was not clear. Her overall biochemical states and blood components didn’t show anything extremely weird, although her fever seemed to show she had some type of bacteria inside of her. Wherever that bacteria was, it was pretty clear that this sickness didn’t behave like a regular human disease. Could they provide something from within this medical station to lower their captain’s fever? Knowing the complexity of the situation, the Kunemon seemed ready to help somehow. Once he, Yui and the rest received the report from Koharu, his expression changed into a much more serious countenance. A couple of seconds later, his body started glowing and changing shape. “Much better.” He noted while moving the pincers by the edge of his limbs. He would definitely need some arms for what he was about to do next! “She mentioned you were going to a house by the foot of the mountain, behind the city, right?” The Kokuwamon asked looking at the rest of the crew. “That means you were going to Luna's house. I know where that is, I can take you there. If she was taking care of her before, she probably will know what to do now.” The insect-robot rushed to take his keys and close the hut. Apparently, the business would be shut momentarily. “I may have no drivers to offer you, but I most definitely can’t turn my back at your group in such a troubling situation.” A firm nod marked the end of that sentence while the electric digimon glanced at a wooden carriage with two Boarmons in front. “Come on, get yourselves and your captain into the carriage, I’ll take you to the city!”

Koharu is still tinkering with the display on the wall of the capsule facility. Her focus poured completely at the display. Blood fluctuation, heartbeats, body temperature, it's all thankfully laid out in layman term for a non-medic background person like her. She kept her attention fixed at the display until she know what's wrong. Her theory was that Erika is digitized beyond ordinary chosen, thus part of her is data more than she is analog and this affected her memories, but...
"...Bacteria?" Koharu mused outloud. The device won't pick up such thing if it's normal, but this must have proven that there are something different with Erika. She quickly turned to the group after activating some buttons that hopefully can stabilize Erika's temperature so she's less feverish.
"Blood component doesn't show anything weird, but she's definitely having high fever. Might be from stress and related to her memory loss, but... there's bacteria in her? I mean, I don't quite get how this is related considering Digital World food does not contain bacteria like food of real world does... Yet, this bacteria doesn't register like a normal human disease... I think rather than bacteria this must be residue of something that happened in the past. Anyway, let her stay there for two more minutes for the medicine to seep inside her. it should reduce her fever slightly. It's more effective if we let her stay there over one to two hours, but I don't think we can afford that sort of luxury, so this must do."
Thankfully, by the time the sled is ready, the medical device has done administering the medicine too.
"Lift her to the carriage, please, Kon-chan, Warg. I have done as best as I could, so for the meantime..." Koharu put a cold compress on Erika's forehead. "Please make sure that she doesn't shook too much if possible..."
After sterilizing the room and returning the facility to its normal ball state, Koharu stashed the item away and ride the carriage.

"Not entirely, but we do have a key to the ship for a reason." Yui replied towards Koharu on the matter of trusting the deckhands, firstly and foremost. "We'll have to find the meaning of the marking on our own--or ask Erika's aunt if we can even get to her in time." The woman nodded a few times. Yes, that was the current plan, was it not?
So, she went to go listen to the Kunemon's answers to her questions. A giant digimon attacking the main city as though it were some sort of Kaiju movie. Erika got sick after the incident and fell unconscious for years, while her aunt attempted to heal her. He didn't seem to know much aside from that. "...Right, okay. Thank you."
Meanwhile, Fuu went to help Warg and Kon with carrying Erika to the carriage. She would've done it herself, but...help was definitely needed. The poor Dorumon could barely keep herself composed, but once they were on the carriage, she would sit next to Erika and essentially warm up Frosty Tail--solely to cool herself. Hopefully that chilliness would help the unconscious captain along with the cold compress.
Yui and Bu would join up, too. "Any directions we might need once we're at the city? Or at the foot of the mountain? I don't think we have much time..."

It was a relief they had Koharu.
While the situation had not ceased to be worrying during any moment since Erika had fainted, at least Koharu had managed to somewhat control stabilize her situation momentarily. Fuu’s Frosty Tail and that compress would probably keep her stable until they got to the city.
The dirty road around them was bumpy and slightly humid. Over the characteristic brown of the dirt, there was a very light purple tonality covering the soil the Boarmons were running over. Yiro, who had helped carry Erika to the carriage and hadn’t stopped staring at her until now, barely noticed this anomaly on the ground and asked the insect driver about it.
“After the incident, the whole island was covered with Data Magnetism. It was probably a consequence of a certain technique used by that monster or the excessive amount of energy used during the battle to fend it off.” The Kokuwamon explained. “Long story short, Data Magnetism is basically a condition that makes data attracted to a certain piece of data. That means the ground on the island attracts data towards itself because it has Data Magnetism.” For a second, the driver glanced at Koharu and Yui. “The best way to explain it for humans is to say Data Magnetism produces enhanced gravity, so to say. Things move slower and can’t float above the ground because the soil is attracting them with more strength.”
“T-That is crazy. Can’t you remove that?” The Gabumon asked, his eyes widened.
“Luna managed to remove it over the ports so ships can dock and over the whole city and its immediate surroundings. However, the meadows and most of the mountains still have it.” He answered. “Luna invented the substance to remove Data Magnetism and applied it over certain areas. It can be applied on the soil or on the objects so they’re not attracted to the soil, but it takes months to produce a single barrel and it is very expensive. She’s been working hard to get the island back to normal but… Due to its size, it has not been easy.”
Yiro peeked through the window of the carriage to observe the creatures pulling from it. “So why can the Boarmon’s run freely?”
“The substance invented by Luna can’t be put on most digimon. Thanks to their structural properties, Boarmons are one of the few creatures that the substance works effectively on, so she put the antidote on our Boarmons and carriages. That way people can use them to get to the city. Just by being in the carriage, the vehicle protects you from suffering the effects of Data Magnetism. However, if you got off the carriage right now, the ground would pull you down aggressively." The chauffeur explained. "Before this happened, the carriage service was just for tourists who wanted to take a tour. But now is the only way digimon have of getting in and out of the island. Even the Navy uses it.”
“I-Is the Navy here?” Yiro stuttered a bit with only thinking about the possibility they were.
“Some soldiers arrived a couple of days ago, but due to the difficulties caused by Data Magnetism, there aren’t many. There are two siblings who are Navy Captains and have lived here for years, though. A Turuiemon and a Galgomon.” The insect’s red eyes trailed towards the crew. “If that girl is anything like her dad…” The driver looked at Erika for a second. “… you’re probably all pirates. So… beware of those captains. I’ve heard they’re strong."
It was then when Yiro glanced at Erika again. The Gabumon let out a sigh. “I wish I had gotten good at healing already…” He muttered. “That ‘bacteria’ thing sounds like something dangerous.” The pelted pirated looked at Koharu. “D-Do you think it’s some Digital World type of disease? What could have happened during that incident that did this to her?” If he had to guess, Yiro assumed the fainting was a consequence of her losing her memories. But how did this disease operate exactly? That was still a mystery.
After listening to the entirety of Yui’s question, the Kokuwamon offered his answer. “Once you get to the city you must go through it to get to the foot of the mountain. After you leave through the cities’ north gate, you only have to keep going north for a while. I believe Luna and Popoko’s house is the only one around the foot of the mountain, so you should locate it pretty easily.” Well, it didn’t sound like it was too hard to find.
It was then when the metallic insect offered another interesting piece of input. “As I mentioned before, the city has been cleaned of Data Magnetism. So, once we get there, you should be able to fly towards the mountain and get to Luna’s house pretty quickly. In case any of you can fly or you have another vehicle, of course.”
“How long will it take us to get to the city?” Yiro asked, knowing the answer wasn’t going to be too pretty.
“At least 2 hours from now.”

Lot of thing to take in... the soil, the effects, the monster that came and somehow it becomes like this... It makes her head hurts thinking what's what. Information like this probably need to be written in her note. She jotted what she felt are important, about the ground and how it increases gravity, about how there's a counteragent to its effect (perhaps one that she could ask to obtain to complete her Eye of the Storm)...
...There's navy here. Drats. She obviously can't pull card like "this girl is amnesic and pretends to be a pirate" when what they did in previous island speaks more volume than simple act and play as a pirate. "I assume they also know how to fight in this place? Tell me, does the ground also pulls in projectiles?" Koharu asked. "And does touching the soil brings any lingering effect to anything that touched it?"
Kon-chan looked at Yiro and shook her head. "Your sympathy is good already, but trust me... if there is something that causes incident this huge, then without doubt it's stronger than even Super Ultimate. Unlikely you can heal her by yourself. Don't go blaming yourself for something beyond your own ability to fix. For the meantime, let's do what we can, for our captain."
To his question though, Koharu shook her head. "...I have no idea. Bacteria in real world and digital world is very different... in fact, if there is a bacteria in Digital World, you only can call that a [Bug]... Diseases like that... I'm not sure if it exist, because I'm not a doctor. But supposedly, if captain is really a human then it doesn't make sense for this bug to affect her in any way, because human are still mostly analog in Digital World. Only part of us are adapted to make sure we can eat and drink Digital World food and drinks, and to breathe oxygen as usual... basically anything related to our metabolism should be translated.
...but I never heard a Digimon specific disease could affect human too. The same way as plant diseases shouldn't affect humans, Digimon diseases shouldn't affect humans too... unless something changed too in Captain when that monster attacked... for example... it changed her digitization percentage to higher degree... this might also causes error that affects her memories.
...Again, I'm just grasping at straws wildly here. I think we'll get what's what from this 'aunt Luna' person. Either that or if we bring her with us to Ys after all of this..."
Two hours until the city.
"...I think Tankdramon or Black Megalo Growmon would look too suspicious. Bu, Fuu, can I ask you guys to do the transporting? Wait, I guess only Fuu can fly huh... Well, Fuu, I think the captain need your help the most, so... as for us, I think I'll carry the rest with Van Eltia..."

Data Magnetism? That was a strange sort of phenomenon that neither of the trio had ever heard of up until a few seconds ago, really. "So...We're a bit slower on this ground because of the magnetism. Am I right on that?" It...honestly sounded like something from Dragon Ball, as silly as that notion was. Magnetic soil/earth that makes you slower...One could probably get a workout from that.
But, such thoughts could wait for later. Right now, they had to digest the information being provided. "Dorugamon -and- Ginryumon are both capable of flight, so we can transport Erika safely...But till then we need to actually keep her stable, because trying to fly now would be a bit of a sticky situation." Yui nodded.
"Do the Turuiemon and Galgomon have names?" Bu piped up towards the Kokuwamon. She was mostly hoping to figure out who to avoid in the city, if they were there. Being pirates meant that the mere sighting of them by the cops was...ill tidings. Fuu on the other hand...
"So we just need to go north...I think I get it." They didn't have much in the way of questions to ask that Koharu didn't already put out there...Bu did reach over to pat Yiro on the head, though. "It's fine. Not your fault, or anything. We'll fix it."

While he kept driving the carriage, The Kokuwamon barely tilted his head to listen to Koharu and deliver an answer. “I ... guess they do. Then again, since there is no Data Magnetism in the city, the Navy Officers don’t really need to know how to fight in those circumstances. However, I wouldn’t put it past them, considering how long they have lived here.” That made sense. It was more than possible than these officers knew how to fight in Krago Island with everything that meant.
“Yes, I believe the ground will pull your projectiles too.” He added. “Which, again, seems like a problem if you want to fight properly.” Considering the inquiries made by Koharu, the bug digimon could only assume he was right when he thought about this group being pirates. Not much of a surprise, though. “I don’t think there’s any effect besides being pulled towards the ground. Once you’re out of a Data-Magnetism zone, you should be okay.”
Yiro’s eyes went to Koharu, before going to Bu. The Gabumon let out a sigh. “I guess you’re right…” He muttered, obviously feeling hand-tied. There wasn’t much they could do right now, was there? The Gabumon took an old newspaper lying around the carriage. The date of issue was from a couple of days ago. Without having anything else to do, the pelted-pirate decided to read it while their vehicle crossed the meadows towards Krago City.
Not long after starting to go through the pages, the Gabumon gasped. “L-Look at this, everyone!” He immediately placed the newspaper on the center of the small circle formed by everyone inside the carriage. “T-This has… different news than the ones we used to get in Uka Island.”
“Uh… Yes.” The Kokuwamon overheard the conversation and proceeded to explain. “The Navy usually don’t want pirates to know about certain stuff. But since this island is close to Re-Re Island and other territories where the Navy has heavy influence, they are a bit laxer on the censorship of the news that we get here. I-I’m not intending to say they still don’t hide stuff from us, but there’s not that much secrecy with the citizens of Re-Re Island and the islands relatively close to it.”
That explained a lot. However, Yiro seemed more shocked by the news he had found on the journal than anything else. What did the paper say?
“Unexpected visit.
The Navy Commander and Head Chief of Goonberg Epox the Gatomon is going to visit the Grimway Maximum Security Prison in three days. Our sources claim that the Commander has been selected by the high command of the Navy to deliver some important news to the prisoners, which include some of the most dangerous pirates in the world, including the Treasure Hunter Zarayah Kabuno.”
Next to the article, the photo of a Gotomon with a cape could be seen. Right below the picture, the words “Epox: Navy Commander.”
If the group kept reading…
“According to our sources, the Commander will make a quick stop on the Navy Headquarters to pick up one of the Navy Admirals, the strongest quartet in the Navy. Some rumors state that it might be Navy Admiral Fran.”
Right next to this paragraph, the words “Fran: Navy Admiral.” Could be seen under the picture of a Troopmon that showed feminine physical features and a cape.
Yiro looked… quite shocked by this. He might not know what did these ranks mean but… it sure didn’t sound good. Once Erika recovered and they spoke to Popoko and Luna, they actually had to go to Grimway to help Zarayah Kabuno get out, right? How did all of this affected their plans? How were they going to get the programmer of the GATE System, Zarayah Kabuno, out of this maximum-security prison with such strong digimon being around?
“W-What do you guys… think about this?” Yiro asked, looking at the crew.
Even if things looked quite complicated right now, they promised to get even more complex for their next mission!
Before they noticed, their carriage had reached Krago City.
