Magnus took interest in Tsukiko's, and then in Eleonora's words. Truth to be told, this place was getting weirder the more time they spent inside of it. "So... we're in what should be the equivalent of a USB drive? That sounds reassuring." The teen mentioned, before gazing forward. Katherine and Akemi were still on his line of sight. Better to not lose their trail, right? "We might want to hurry, then. Seems like at least a pair here wasn't that willing to hear your advice, Tsuki. I'd keep my eyes open in case deploying your 'army' is needed, Leo. We just might."
Those words had been said hastily, but there was a clam and a slug to be caught! Where were they, by the way? Soon enough, that would be more than obvious; even if they had suddenly disappeared, Magnus would stumble into an abrupt trench. It was quite deep to boot, so the male had to stop for a couple of seconds and refocus his sight to try and see if the digimons were anywhere to be found.
"See? I knew we were here before! Otherwise, we wouldn't have found this!" Katherine sounded excited, and at the very least Magnus had managed to pinpoint her position in one of the thing's tunnels. The young man wasn't sure about his ability to be able to descend on his own, however. The trench looked way too step, and while they were technically underwater, this place still had a weird gravity to it, so it wasn't like that was a risk he could take.
Guess it was on him to wait for the girls, and hoped their partners had the methods to go down. The alternative was to just wait until the sisters got out of the trenches on their own accord, but... that seemed quite unlikely at best at the moment.

“That is… actually a good analogy.” The leader of the Ashikagas had to admit that it was a good way of seeing it. For someone who had just arrived into this world, Magnus didn’t seem too fazed at the weird things happening around them. Could it be he still thought this was a dream? A real possibility.
Having Eleonora deploy her army had both its positive side and its vicissitudes. For one thing, it meant more eyes to keep an eye on Magnus’ digimons. It also meant, however, more digimons to keep an eye on. For the time being, it seemed like it wouldn’t be necessary.
That was… until they found a literal ditch in their path.
Her arms folded and instinctively wrinkling her mouth, Tsukiko considered all of the possibilities. Yeap. Letting these digimon go by themselves was probably a terrible idea. No other choice but finding the proper way to descend into this canal, right? The blue-eyed looked at Mitsuharu, who exchanged a firm look with her. “I’m going with you.” She declared, firmly.
That being said, Tsukiko looked at Eleonora for a moment. “I guess I could make Mitsuharu evolve to get me and maybe Magnus down but… it is probably a better idea for us to remain together. You know, over the same digimon.” That meant they probably needed a quite larger creature!
“What do you think about using your Drimogemon?” She had learned the name of the species before! Barely on time. “Boota, was his name? I feel he could get us down in no trouble.” He looked like the quite energetic creature, though! Would it be a good idea to take him out now? Or did Eleonora have another plan? It was clear the German girl was the chosen one to help them with this situation. Whatever she had planned, Tsukiko trusted in her.

Eleonora nodded to Magnus's analogy, it's pretty on point based on what Tsukiko said, she didn't had much to add to the conversation having explain her weird and short experience in that old japanese town, the digital world sure is fill with mysteries ready to be discover.
The group kept following the trail of the slug and clam, they were quiet fast for creatures with no legs but they do manage to finally catch up to them in a tunnel, didn't look too safe for them to go down, the German had her hand already on her Loader when Tsukiko suggested bringing Drimogemon, it was the obvious choice to move through this tunnel be going down or ascending or whatever this place was going to take them.
With the push of a button the drill mole was free, and look with excitement at the humans while waggling his little tail, Eleonora then push another button activating the feeding program and a small piece of meat appear from the digivice, the girl grab it and wave it in front of the digimon
"We're gonna need your help, think you can take us through the tunnel safely?" Boota look side to side following the food in the hand of the blonde, then look at her and nodded, did he really understood or just wanted the food? "Good boy!" Leo said giving the food to the Drimogemon and the climbing on top of him, she give a hand to her friends to climb the mole too "Hold tight because there are no seat belts here, I do not take responsibility if you fall and get hurt" The German laugh and winked to her passengers, with that said Leo patted Boota and the Drimogemon started the descend

At least for the time being, it seemed like the group was more or less acting in a level-headed manner regarding this situation. Was Magnus a bit too chill regarding the whole deal? Probably, but it wasn’t like panicking over a situation that seemed to be mostly under control seemed particularly smart. This situation would undoubtedly be a lot to take in once it sunk, but for now? Things were pretty fine. As fine as trying to catch a clam and a smile could get.
A plan was already in the works by the two capable females accompanying the teenager. They were very effective, weren’t they? For a moment, the possibility of the group being separated at the moment of their descent was discussed, even though the idea was ultimately scrapped in favor of the threesome to descend on the back of Boota, the Drimogemon.
“Talk about convenient.” He idly remarked as he did his best to situate himself on the mole’s back. He had ridden horses before, but this was… undoubtedly different. With any luck, the descent would go onward without much else happening.
And, if it did? The group would now find themselves from what were ten meters of trenches upwards, and who knows how many at the sides. The faintest sounds of Akemi’s and Katherine’s voices could be heard; nothing could be made regarding what they were talking about, but at least it served as enough indication to know more or less the rough direction where they had headed to. Would Boota follow? Or did the group have to dismount? In any case, the trench would progressively descend in what seemed like… some sort of underground command room. There, Akemi and Katherine were gazing at the main table where… a plethora of eggs that seemed to be patterned quite differently. Rings, strikes, color schemes and even their sizes differed with one another. Quite the discovery, in all honesty!
“Anyone got any idea of what this place is? It seems kinda… off with the location where we are supposed to be.” Why would anyone place a command center under a trench? It didn’t seem like the smartest idea, at least to Magnus. Maybe the girls knew any better?

While the giant mole’s comeback, the climbing and the going down the trenches didn’t seem to faze Tsukiko a lot, she was kind of entertained by this adventurous ride. It had a bit of exploration involved, which was something she usually found very fun.
The Ashikaga was also, however, impressed by the definitely strange architecture this place deployed. When they reached this odd command room, she tackled the metaphorical elephant in the room.
“So we went up the stairs, then we entered a giant room which was… far bigger than what the tower seemed to be able to harbor from outside, and now…” Again, her blue eyes trailed across the room, exploring the entirety of it. “…We went down again to enter another room. The way this place is built is not making any sense to me.”
Although this didn’t necessarily confirm their initial theory, it definitely didn’t do anything to debunk it. If anything, it just validated it. “So… just as you said before, this could mean this place is just a giant amalgam of data, Sensei.” Mitsuharu noted while taking a good look at the space they were occupying.
Not that Tsukiko could provide further input on that. And that’s why she just wrinkled her mouth when hearing Magnus’ question. It did seem like this place was just throwing random data in confined spaces to them.
Then, the items above the table raised the tamer’s attention. “Aren’t those… the eggs digimon come out of?” Her blue eyes trailed towards Eleonora, since it didn’t make much sense to ask Magnus’ about those. Or were those… something else? This didn’t seem like the type of room where eggs could be incubated. Why were those here?
“Digieggs…?” Mitsuharu muttered.

The mole ride was uneventful to say the least, it felt a bit weird that they go all the way up first and now had to go all the way down again, fortunately the group had the help of Boota so the trio could rest while the Drimogemon made its way down this place
After following the trail of the twin digimon the group found itself in some kind of command room, Katherine and Akemi were looking at a table with a group of eggs on the top, Tsukiko confirm what the German was thinking, those were indeed Digi Eggs
"This is a really odd place, you guys think we were suppose to find this place?" The place was rather well hidden and while the group was "guided" by the twins here there's also the fact that they were dragged by the wave and didn't drowned "It feels all too convenient"
"They said that they were here before" Gurren spoke up "Can you tell us what this place is?" Laggan questioned the twins, maybe they could throw some light into this mystery
Leo would look around to try and see if something else caught her attention, if anything she would thing this place would have some kind of defense system or something to protect the eggs, sure it's not easy to reach this part and without the "guide" of the slimes the group would've never found it but at the same time, leaving the eggs without protection doesn't seem right

The situation was, in all honesty, as weird as it could be. Thankfully there seemed to be no potential harm for anyone involved, so the group could assess the situation in relative tranquility.
Eleonora’s own question was something he had been thinking for a while, even though…
“Maybe? Then again, those two little girls pretty much dragged us all the way around there. I think they were meant to find this place? And maybe we were along for the ride all along. I don’t really know. Is this usual in this world?”
After all, he was the newbie here and everything he was saying at the moment was pretty much baseless speculation..
Would either Katherine or Akemi shed any light into this whole deal? As Gurren and Lagann approached them, Katherine scooped one of the eggs; it was dark blue, and it had a pattern that reminisced a flame in its midst.
“I feel like I know this digimon. We’ve definitely met before, and it was like… like she was calling to me, you know?”
One could say that the twins had jinxed it, because as soon as those words were uttered, a fiery blaze spread from the egg itself, growing exponentially at a rapid pace until it enveloped the whole room. It blinded everyone present; an event reminiscing of when they were sucked up. Anyone remaining there would feel their bodies being displaced, almost as if they were peeled off from reality. And then… darkness. Whoever was unlucky enough to remain for the whole event would recover their sight in the midst of none other than Shibuki forest. And a nondescript point of it, to boot.
Magnus gazed around. It seemed like he was in the Human World again. Again? Considering how wild his adventure had been, it was hard to tell if he had ever left the Human World, and if everything he had just experienced was a trick of his imagination. At least for the time being, Eleonora and Tsukiko were nowhere to be seen.
Most likely a weird daydream. That was the only thing his mind could conjure to explain that adventure. What about the trio of eggs he was holding at the moment, though?
They begged to differ. [Exit]
