Subject: We Miss You!
Hi Amy! I hope we're not bothering anything! We were hoping that you would come and explore someplace in the Digital World with us. You see, our digivices led us to this really big door on the side of a mountain. It looks really old! And, when I pushed on it, it started to open.
Problem is, Elsie's afraid of it and won't let me actually fully open the door! She said it "weirds her out." I really think that if you came here with us, she'd be less worried! It could be really important for us to find out what's inside that place! I need to know what's inside!
I'll send you the coordinates. Hope you decide to come with us! It's been too long!
And, with that sent, the twins would wait. Amy surely wouldn't let them down, right? Especially with a title like 'we miss you.' There was no way that kind of thing could fail! Or, could it? It was actually kind of hard to tell! But, Evie was willing to test it!
Bundled up in puffy coats, both girls didn't have any fear of the cold. And, luckily, it was a pretty sunny and warm day! As far as being on a snow-covered mountain went, at least! Perhaps, the snow melting was the reason the twins could find this mysterious door at all! Though it hardly looked water-damaged, it definitely seemed to have been left untouched for quite some time! Old, iron bands decorated the front of the arched doorway, with random spots where the stonework of the building could peek out from the slowly melting snow.
"I wonder how old it is," Evie mused, but knew better than to touch potentially frigid metal.
"I wonder how haunted it is," Elsie retorted, crossing her arms tightly across her chest.
With the fuss that the red-eyed sister was putting up about this place? Evie hoped it was very haunted. Especially if they were dragging Amy out of whatever warm place she might be, to come explore it with them! But, on a bright side, maybe they'd find something neat to scavenge from the place! Assuming it was actually empty, that was! Who really knew, with the way Digimon were?
For all the twins could tell, some ancient being could be living in there! And, judging from their digivices giving off an occasional beep, as if something was on their radars? It wasn't too far off. Calling a totem 'living' might be a stretch, though.
For the time being, they'd continue waiting, and occasionally lightly bickering. Hopefully Amelie wouldn't make them wait too long! Would she try to reject the offer -- and in turn, get some sort of guilt trip from the innocent twin? Or, would she just... pop up at any given moment? Either way, Evie was going to wait it out until either someone showed up, or she convinced Elsie that it was too cold not to walk through the mysterious entryway!
