Hasenya couldn't hold back a grin seeing her last two messages before she headed out. The answer was obviously yes; she was going to go all the way up to Luminas and she was going to leave Mae on seen. It was the perfect opportunity to maybe try some new things out. She more than likely couldn't sneak up on Mae given her foresight, but she was still gonna try. And at the end of her list of excuses to go out and bother the catsquid was the most important: She just wanted to spend some time with them. Inconvenient timing? Absolutely. Though at this point it was obvious she didn't care for the convenience of it.
The trip there and through the city were mostly uneventful, mostly in thanks to Flashfire Phantom. No one could really stop and harass someone who as far as their eyes were concerned just didn't exist. Of course, she confused quite a few people who had really great hearing, though otherwise she remained completely undetected on her way to bully Mae into bed. Before she started she had contemplated becoming Cornixmon and making her stealth game that much stronger.. Though knowing Luminas and how it could treat perceived criminals, she thought it better not to use a dark Digivolution.
The Renamon was creeping closer, stealthy little gremlin as she was despite her BRIGHT PINK FUR. No doubt this would be about that point Mae would catch her about to enter just as she thought she had successfully hidden from whatever forces gave Mae her foresight and screech at her to go the fuck back home. She wouldn't listen to such a demand, obviously.

Mae stared at her D-Terminal as she was, indeed, left on seen. This was a tactic she had not seen employed yet, even by the most brazen of fools found upon the internet. But, she could tell what the insatiable moron of a fox was planning without her foresight at all.
The dead of night was always an inevitability, even within the heart of Heaven. But, Luminas always did have it's answer to the unceasing approach of night in the form of lighting the city up with a rather resplendent lightshow that, somehow, left the stars able to be viewed.
So, it was probably tough to sneak around, but at the same time, there were probably ways to sneak up to the building that housed Mae's (new) apartment. Only problem? ...Did Hasenya even know which floor Mae was on? Unlikely, but as the Renamon drew closer, she'd probably be able to catch sight of what happened next.
A Meicoomon opened the window of one of the third floor apartments, and glanced around, squinting. The possibility that Mae didn't see Hasenya was there. "...I know you're out there, Hasenya. I -literally- saw this coming." She called out.

Probably another entire reason she wouldn't be using Cornixmon for this whole venture. Though yes, she hadn't exactly thought the whole apartment thing through and was intent on simply searching the building until something screamed Mae at her. Good way to get in trouble? Most definitely, though that was what turning invisible was for!
Rather than be caught with her metaphorical pants down just like that, the Renamon zipped forward at the slightest unnatural sound and put herself flat against the wall. She wondered who the Hell would open their window this late at night- they could get cold! Though her question was immediately answered, and really she should've seen it coming. When considering Mae's foresight, it was more obvious than someone just opening their window to let a draft in.
Of course she wasn't gonna just show herself in a big open space like that, and she could see an opportunity to tease Mae just a little bit more. So she came out of her invisibility and climbed up the side of the building up to Mae's windowsill with practiced ease. "So you did." She stated, pretty much perfectly timed with poking her head up to look the Meicoomon in the face. Hopefully she wouldn't just slam the window shut in her face in a panic reaction- that would kind of really suck.
"Now have I convinced you to go to bed or am I gonna have to distract you from your cartoons some more?" Hasenya continued on, assuming the whole window slamming thing didn't happen.

One could note the fact that Mae's room was actually sitting at a comfortable temperature when they neared the window. Mae kept staring out of her window for a moment before she was confronted with the sudden sighting of Hasenya right in front of her face. Normally, anyone with half a brain would slam the window shut considering this was like some sort of cryptid popping up right next to your window, but Mae was not -just- anyone.
Did she see that coming too? Possibly.
"No." The cat replied to the fox. "No, you have not. By coming up here in the dead of night, you've effectively doomed yourself. Because now..." She trailed off. Should she actually finish that?
"Now you have to watch anime with me." In truth, she just wanted to get Hasenya away from the window--a fall from this height would actually hurt. Plus, it was a pretty chilly evening. So, the Meicoomon climbed atop the windowsill and -attempted to drag the fox into the apartment.-
Speaking of which, the apartment itself was a rather clean and spacious place to live in. Where Mae was standing in happened to be the living room, with a number of entrances to the kitchen, and two bedrooms. As well as the actual exit to the apartment. In addition, it was predominantly white and gold throughout the area, much like the rest of Luminas.
...It'd probably be a bit more serene if there weren't anime blaring from the TV.

Mae probably couldn't see it from the window, but Hasenya's tail was swaying from side to side. Obviously she wasn't about to let it full on wag, though it was still a good showing of her current mood; that being happy. "Don't threaten me with a good time." Hasenya stated when Mae had trailed off, giving the fox an opportunity to be a little shit.
Being dragged in through the window was a bit awkward for the Renamon, though not at all a difficult task. Especially not with her helping by gripping the windowsill and pretty much throwing herself into the apartment. She hadn't been even slightly worried about falling, though she could have understood the concern if Mae had chosen to voice it.
Compared to her room back in Ys, this place was squeaky clean. True that her room was more organized mess than actual mess, made more out of convenience of comfort than actual sloppiness, but still. "I see no problem with that. If you're gonna stay up and forsake your needed sleep, you can at least do it with me." Hasenya joked once she was completely inside the apartment.
Luminas really liked it's white and gold color schemes. The feeling was definitely not mutual with Hasenya's own, though. Mae rocked it really well, but an entire city? Place needed some variety, in her opinion. Though she probably wasn't the person one should consult for color scheme choice when she was just... entirely pink.
"Definitely a lot cleaner than my room. Bigger than I would'e expected an apartment to be, too."

...Mae didn't understand this fox sometimes. She didn't really understand why she'd go out of her way to come up here and try making her go to bed when she could've just stayed in Ys and within the relative (and far superior) comfort of her room and done the same thing.
There was another thing to mention about the room--it was squeaky clean. As though someone had meticulously gone around and made sure every single millimeter had been cleaned thoroughly. This was strange compared to the outside, where even a bit of grime could be found if one looked hard enough. "...Well, if you're okay with that..." She found herself mumbling. "Oh. I...asked for a bigger one. Mostly so I can accommodate people who've lost their bearings and need a place to hang around for a night or two. Um...You can have the guest bed if you want. Or my bed. I-I don't mind."
Mae had been about to wander over towards her (golden) couch before something just hit her!
"...Are you hungry? It's a long way up here and all, I could try fixing you something to eat if you want."

"I'm not taking your bed, dork. Heck, if I really wanna make sure you go to bed and stay there after your shows, I should stay on the couch." Of course, she was partially joking about that last bit about staying on the couch. Yeah she could sleep anywhere, though she doubted Mae would be very stress-free about her lounging out on the couch. She did notice just how absurdly clean the whole place was- was Mae really that diligent about keeping her living space so excessively clean? She didn't seem like the type, though Hasenya hadn't really paid it any attention or thought until now when it was really obvious.
"Hungry? Uh.." The answer was plainly just.. yes. Fox had an appetite. Though she was a bit hesitant to make Mae have to cook for her. She did come out here of her own volition after all, it wasn't like Mae really ASKED her to. "I could eat. You're not gonna miss your anime stuff?" Just a nice, neutral response. No letting her appetite rear it's ugly big head.

"...Oh. Well, that's fine too." More room for Mae on her bed, then. Which was something that the cat could genuinely not disagree with whatsoever. Sleeping wasn't important to Mae right now, though. She could always make more time for such frivolities later, right now she had to focus on the impromptu guest she had.
Mae rarely ever had guests over. So, her skills as a hostess might be a bit lacking. "Maybe. Not that I really care right now, though. I have a guest and she's more important than anime at the moment." The cat replied as she proceeded into the kitchen. "Hope you like pancakes!" Mae's voice could be heard ringing out from there as, in time...the sounds of cooking and the like began to emit from that kitchen.
...Which also left Hasenya to either watch whatever's on the TV or explore Mae's apartment. What would she do?

"More an intruder. You didn't ask nor invite me to show up at your window and demand you go to bed." Hasenya poked a bit of fun, though she did really enjoy the hospitality she was being shown- even if she didn't think she deserved it. Perhaps she should have officially and properly visited a bit sooner. Being around Mae had this weird effect of making the Renamon loosen up and be a bit more goofy than her normal, try-hard self.
"I like pancakes well enough!" Hasenya responded with a raised voice, just to ensure she'd be heard. She loved them. And was likely going to devour them despite any exertion of self-control. She didn't want Mae to know about these more gluttonous tendencies or hers, though it was probably going to be unavoidable at this point.
Both TV and exploration were all well and good.. But Hasenya was honestly a lot more interested in the owner of the apartment, rather than the apartment itself or whatever was on TV. So being the nosey goblin she was, she wandered into the kitchen. First peeking in to watch Mae before completely stepping into the room. There might not be ample opportunity to talk while she was focused on cooking, but Hasenya was happy to just watch really. As weird as that probably was.
The Renamon stood with her back to a wall, hands behind her back while she waited patiently. She had no idea what was so interesting about someone cooking pancakes compared to whatever cartoon was probably on Mae's TV but.. Since when has this fox ever made sense?

"And aren't I a good samaritan for allowing the furry intruder a place in my home?" Mae replied to that quip with one of her own. Sure, she'd have liked it if Hasenya had come by...well, properly, if one could put it that way, but this was nice as well. Being with the fox just...felt okay to the cat.
Once she was actually in the kitchen and cooking, though, that bit of affirmation from the fox was all that she really needed. The Meicoomon swiftly evolved into the form of Meicrackmon, slapped on an apron and a hat, and got right to work. Coincidentally, that was the sight that Hasenya peeked in on when she came in. A Meicrackmon cooking pancakes while wearing a chef outfit. Was that worth seeing? Probably, probably not. It's subjective, really.
It seemed as though Mae wasn't aware she wasn't alone in the room, until she turned, saw the fox standing there like some sort of cryptid, and tilted her head as the pancakes were slowly taking form. "...Do you need anything?" She blinked.

"Good samaritan maybe, or perhaps someone in need of a walking space heater." Hasenya could have gone at it like that for a bit longer with the jokes, had Mae not already been moving away from her to go get started on that cooking.
The question of whether or not a Meicrackmon in a chef hat was worth seeing was silly. Of course it was worth it. When else do you see a digimon like that in a goofy chef hat? It was almost as funny as the words "chunky seadramon", but only almost. Or perhaps Hasenya was just really easy to amuse. It was also pretty funny just on its own that Mae had to digivolve to get the extra height necessary to work in the kitchen. Hasenya did have to wonder if that just made cooking more of an exhausting task than it needed to be, though.
Cryptid might be a bit much, though it certainly wasn't inaccurate. "..Uh, nah. Just watchin'. I can stop if I'm making you nervous." The Renamon explained, shaking her head first. Mae cooking was just more interesting than television to the odd little fox. She wasn't intending to be creepy by being quiet, she just didn't want to break Mae's focus and disturb her while she was working.

"Oh. Um...I don't mind, but...I did leave the TV on. What's so interesting about me cooking pancakes for the walking space heater?" The Meicrackmon inquired. It wasn't a question born from irritation so much as it was genuine curiosity. As well as being stumped as to why Hasenya went out of her way to come here bleeding into her interactions with the fox, too. She turned to face Hasenya fully while one of the feelers at her shoulder wrapped around the pan with some rapidly cooking pancakes within in order to flip them if need be.
As one could see, no nervous cat would be capable of multitasking. Meanwhile, something just hit the Meicrackmon. "...Wait, have you never watched someone cook before? Is that it?" Now, a better question would be where that of all things came from. Nonetheless, she stepped aside and beckoned Hasenya over. Albeit, a little awkwardly. "I can't really explain it too well but I know a thing or two at least."

"...I dunno. I've never really been a TV person I guess." There was something else to it, though she couldn't really put a finger on it. What was so interesting about Mae cooking? It wasn't just nothing in particular, she knew that much. Being able to flip the pancakes with one of those feeler things without looking at them was quite impressive to the Renamon, though.
The fox tilted her head at Mae's conclusion. That could be it, it was true she had never really been interested in watching someone cook before. "I can't say that I have." She responded simply, approaching when beckoned. A front row seat was definitely better than her cryptid perch in the corner. "You must be really used to cooking pancakes if you don't gotta keep an eye on them.
She wouldn't know how to word it, but she was just there for Mae. Whether they were watching dorky anime or cooking pancakes, she was just happy to spend time with her. Something about it made her feel much more light and optimistic, even a little more energetic than her norm. As a Renamon, she was obviously taller than Mae as a Meicoomon, though not by too much and she did have the advantage of being bipedal to help her look up over the counter without any awkwardness.
She'd attentively watch and listen, occasionally glancing up at Mae. This form was new to her, so of course she'd want to get a couple of looks at it. She wondered how the size difference was between Mae's Meicrackmon and her own Youkomon, just curious to see if she were catching up in the height and size department.

"Oh...That's fair. It's something I only really picked up at the Library, otherwise I spent a good portion of my life without it. Then again, I also spent a good portion of my life in the forest being cared for by an Impmon...So, my childhood likely isn't the same as others', really."
Hasenya was quite correct, though. Mae cooked this stuff A LOT, so she more or less had the timing down perfectly for those movements of her feelers. Though, the Meicrackmon then let go of the pan before she stepped towards the Renamon, and moved to very literally pick her up (seriously, Hasenya was -tiny- compared to Meicrackmon) and set her atop the counter next to the stove where the pancakes were cooking with a pat on the head to top -that- off, before she went back to cooking.
A sizable stack of pancakes was forming right next to Hasenya, too. Maybe there was a purpose to her being lifted here. Mayyyybe.

"...Huh. Your papa was an Impmon then?" She asked mainly out of curiosity, though she wouldn't press Mae for more information about that sort of private stuff if it happened to be a touchy subject. This was just the first Hasenya had heard of Mae's own parents.
It was like the trip up the mountain all over again, sort of. Even though it was only one gosh darn comment, Hasenya thought about it quite a lot. Unsure whether or not she hated or.. in some odd way, cherished that memory. Either way it was embarrassing, though thankfully not enough to make her blush under all that pink fluff. The Renamon gave a bit of a nervous wiggle, almost looking sort of shocked when Mae pat her on the head. Again, she had that same conflicted feeling where she wasn't sure if she loved or hated it.
...Was there another purpose? She was a bit busy trying to figure it out internally whether or not she were flustered, happy, offended, or some mix of the three. She looked between the growing stack of pancakes and Mae a couple of times before tilting her head. "Just how many pancakes are you planning to make?" While she did feel pretty confident in the number of pancakes she could eat, she didn't think Mae was aware of the bottomless pit she had for a stomach.
