Considering the household Hasenya came from, she didn't really think she'd make Mae uncomfortable at all by leaning on her. It was all just kinda casual for this silly, sheltered fox. "I'll be fine, though. I refuse to let you be sleep-deprived, because that stuff sucks." Mae could probably trust her on her word, as she was absolutely the type to lose track of time while reading. And as a result, lose sleep.
"Kind of a pickle, ain't it? I want you to sleep, but you don't want to go to bed." She had to think about it for a good long moment, humming gently while she looked from the TV and then up to Mae. "Guess we'll just keep having to watch this anime stuff together." Hasenya shrugged, though wasn't actually at all surprised by this outcome. At this point she imagined Mae had seen it coming anyway. "Never said you had to sleep in your bed, exactly. I don't mind if you fall asleep here. I can make my own way home when I feel ready."
"...'sides, what am I good for if not talking and being a space heater?" She ended jokingly. At this point having completely lost track of whatever was going on on the television.

Mae shook her head at that. No. Just...No. "I don't care if I'm sleep-deprived or not, I'm not really doing anything important tomorrow. Besides, I don't want to leave you alone..." She repeated. This was one goddamn stubborn cat, huh? But it did present quite the dilemma. Not that it wasn't easily resolved, however. They just had to keep watching TV, right?
...Except TV was kind of hard to focus on when you were sleepy and had someone warm and fuzzy to talk to in the immediate vicinity that didn't require gluing your eyes to the television. The Meicrackmon leaned on the much smaller Renamon some, before she let out a yawn. "Hope you mean that, because with every passing second, it gets harder to keep my eyes open...."
.....
What -was- the fox good for? "...Saving my life." Mae stated after a brief pause.

"You don't care but I sure do." Hasenya huffed and leaned back against Mae in return, more than happy to provide more of that warmth and fuzziness. Especially if it got this dork to sleep. The Renamon provided some gentle pats, despite the size difference between the two of them. Anything to lure Mae into the trap that was a good nights' rest. "Of course I mean it. Papa raises no liars." The fox joked, keeping things casual and comfy for the catsquid. Hopefully.
She had to pause at Mae's response to what had been a rhetorical question.. Or at least she hadn't been expecting a real answer to it. She didn't know what exactly she had been expecting, honestly. But what she did know was that it took her completely off guard. "...N-No. It was my fault you were in danger to begin with. If anything I just cleaned up my own darn mess." Hasenya shook her head.

"You don't need to, though...?" Mae was, again, not quite sure how she felt about this. Being this close to someone. Yet she felt that this was all a a ploy merely meant to get her to sleep. If she closed her eyes for more than a second, the night, the morning, whatever hour it could be would be gone and...so would this.
It was nice that Hasenya wasn't a liar, though. Not that it'd matter, since Mae can technically see the futures in which one lies and one doesn't lie. "Whatever it is that you might view it as, it doesn't change the fact that you saved my life, Hasenya. Even if it was just cleaning up what you started, it's not anything that diminishes the magnitude of what you did." The cat spoke, seemingly undeterred in the quest to stay up.

"...You're right, yeah." Hasenya sighed deeply. "That day was a whole lot for the both of us. I do wish I could have been more useful a bit sooner though." That day would not be something Hasenya could soon forget. Not only did she Digivolve into Youkomon, but she went through her first really close scrape. If not for Mae, she's certain she would be dead. By now she felt a lot less like joking around and more like just talking, honestly. She felt like they had been sitting on this topic for awhile now anyway.
"It's impossible to not look back on it and wish I had done one thing or the other better, because I know I could have had I not been so afraid. I know I couldn't really help it but.. still, y'know?" So much for that strange space cowboy anime, and it's awesome dog too. She was here for Mae though so the Renamon didn't give it much more than a passing thought. "It's motivated me a lot I think. I spend less time reading and more time training. If something like that ever happens again I wanna come out of it feeling more proud of myself."

"You were useful when it mattered the most. That's what I think matters more." The cat uttered, a hand moving up to give the fox what seemed to be one final pat on the head before she let out another yawn. "I guess I kind of know how you feel. That first time you stand up to your fears, it's...cathartic, it makes you want to be brave more..." A pause.
"But it also leads to more danger. It's...something you need to be careful with." She decided. "It's good you're training, though. Means you'll get stronger." That much was obvious, of course! "If you ever want someone to train with, my proverbial door's open...Just not right now, though..." The cat trailed off as her eyes seemed to shut and...she started leaning on Hasenya a -lot- more now.
Did she just fucking -fall asleep right then and there?-

"Startin' to sound like papa when you talk like that.." Hasenya huffed, appreciating the kind words regardless of her own embarrassment though. She was right after all. "You hit the nail on the head. I do really wanna be braver.. Stronger too, so it'll never get to that point again. If everyone around me is capable of whooping some serious butt, then I should be able too as well." The Renamon nodded, noticing that Mae was already starting to drift off. She figured at some point she would have to leave, though some part of her really didn't want to.
She was perfectly content like this, Mae talking to and leaning on her. Even if Mae's words were enough to motivate her to hop up off the couch and fight a god or two. When Mae finally fell asleep she blinked a couple of times, surprised by that transition from actively talking to her to just.. out dead cold. Hasenya sighed, gently pushing the Meicrackmon off of her and making sure to lay them down on the couch.
"About time you fell asleep, dork." Hasenya muttered gently, even if the chances of her waking Mae were slim. She quietly slipped out the way she came, opening and then shutting Mae's window behind her. Sure she could've gone out the front door and then out the building like a normal person but it would be bold to assume this fox was anything but a weirdo. The trip back to Ys would be uneventful and safe, though it would give Hasenya a good bit of time to think about things- one thing in particular being when she would next visit.
