Dark side of the moon [For glory]

By now, as the hooks drew into the Meicrackmon's eyes, the happy look on the Corvixmon's face was not out of sadistic glee, but out of the slightest hope that maybe, just maybe, his plan worked, and he'd be able to finally escape the crazy cat's grasp, if only for a brief, glorious moment, and hopefully just enough to escape with a silver of his life. Oh, if only.
Rather, his face fell as his hooks fell off her face almost immediately, and the string pulled it back into his armour. That, to him, was his one and only chance to escape with his life, and now he blew it. He gagged harder as the grip around his neck grew tighter, and he couldn't even let out a single scream as the Meicrackmon chomped down on his shoulder, wincing in pain as both her jaws and the Chrome Digizoid pushed into his skin. He tried to claw at Meicrackmon's face in retaliation, weakly raising an arm to try and at least leave a mark, but even if it did work, it would be superficial at best, almost akin to a harmless papercut.
Now he was in a state of panic. He started to flail pathetically, hoping that someone, anyone, would just come along and save him in some way. As of now, his senses were starting to dull; his whole world was starting to go dark, and even the pain he was feeling was starting to go away gradually. He didn't even have the energy to even yell as his own leg was stabbed, then torn off effortlessly like wet paper by the Meicrackmon's tail, red data leaking out of his leg.
By then, his movements gradually began to slow down, as small bits of data fragments started to flake off his body. His flailing and twitching started to die down, and his breathing started to slow down. At this point, he had become resigned to his own fate. All he hoped for now was that when the Meicrackmon delivered the finishing blow, she would not even think about loading her data for even a brief moment.
Oh, how the tables had turned...
The Corvixmon has been hit by both Succulent Vitality, and the Meicrackmon tearing off his leg. He's basically on his last leg now, and while he started blindly flailing at the start of this post, it's not gonna do much, and now he's ready to go down any minute now.
Passives: Increasing the Pressure: For every post this Digimon is able to inflict direct damage (not by anything like traps or poison), he gets a 5% boost to his attack and 2.5% to accuracy, up to a total of +50%. However, if he cannot successfully deal damage that post, his attack and accuracy decreases by -5%. This cannot go below 0%, however.
Buffs/Nerfs: Increasing the Pressure (10% Atk, 2.5% Acc): See above passive.

The hooks did nothing.
His last desperate hope had been crushed and now the prey was in her grasp completely. Her feeding had commenced and there was very little to stop her from continuing her feast. She'd bite down harder, harder and harder. Her hands tightening around his throat. The panicked nature of his flailing did yield a last 'blow' of sorts against her face. Causing her to hiss a bit through her absorbing of his data to heal her own wounds.
She could feel him weakening. She could feel his time drawing near and a marvelous rolling purr ran through her entire body. She just dragged on and on with Succulent vitality, absorbing the data as she could. If she could, she'd load his entirety! There was nothing stopping her from feasting!
Little did she know, that the stirring nature of the other within her had arrived. Noting the state of the target within her grasp the true silence had naught but a moment to act. It was like a physical blow to the meicrackmon, her mouth widened in an agonized and painful scream. The second, the third and the fourth 'strikes' had her wheezing on her knees and there was a thunderous clap as the meicrackmon was visibly forced to become the wolf once more.
The badly shaken and still damaged wolf. Her bloody ears, nose, mouth and eyes looking at the cornixmon. Without her support it was likely that he had fallen down, but if he still remained standing after that? Well he was made of sterner stuff. The shutmon would manage a small growl, slowly dragging herself up.
"Not... today..."
Her time had run out. She felt the earlier attack still resonating with her body and her eyes darkened before she'd fall over. Onto the very foe she had been fighting this entire time. The fight was over one way or another, who had won? Who had lost?
They both had won in a way...
But they both had also lost something.
Log: -Silence uses Succulent vitality to continue her attack. -Silence forcibly changed into shutmon to avoid trying to load Cornixmon. -Silence passed out!
Move: Succulent Vitality: This digimon sinks it's fangs into a target digimon transferring their vitality to the attacking digimon. This heals the attacking digimon for half of the damage inflicted per round. This requires the digimon to grapple a target in the first post. The second post if the grapple continues allows the digimon to bite it's target. For every post that it continues this grapple it deals a medium amount of damage to it's target and heals for half.

At this point, it was clear that the Corvixmon was now resigned to his fate; he couldn't feel a single thing in his body anymore, his hearing was dulled beyond belief, and more data was flaking off his body faster than ever. He couldn't even feel the Meicrackmon feeding off him at this point. And yet, through his ever failing vision, he could discern something was up.
Before the Meicrackmon could come in for the killing blow, something had stepped in and stopped her in her tracks entirely, as the damned cat started to wail in pain, and make her fall to her knees. He felt no pain himself as he fell himself and hit the floor with a dull thump. Did Yggdrasil hear his prayer? Was he being given another chance at life? It felt almost... liberating in a way.
All he could make out now at this point was nothing but the silhouette of the wolf he tried so hard to slay earlier now towering over him in triumph. He couldn't understand. He was the one trying to kill her, and he was the one wanting to leave her to die after he was all done with her. And yet, despite all what he did to her, she opted to spare him from being loaded. Why? That wasn't what he was taught growing up in Tenebrous? What was going on?
He couldn't understand.
As the last of his data started to float off his body, while the Shutmon lay across him, he could feel a small smile crack across his face, and shut his eyes one last time, as he whispered but a small "Thank you..." before his entire frame collapsed and the last of his data came off of him. But only a moment later, in his place, the surviving data started to configure itself once more, back into a metallic looking Digitama. His leg and his daggers had also disappeared into a burst of data, and into nothingness, the only mementos indicating of his existence.
Once the Shutmon would have awakened, she would find she was now holding onto what was left of her own attacker. Hopefully, once the Digitama hatched, perhaps she would put him on the path to redemption. And perhaps he would have another chance to at least be loved by someone, especially after what happened in his now-past life...
Thankful for not being loaded, the Cornixmon dies with a smile on his face. He has now been reconfigured back into a Digitama.
[As for me, I'll be taking bits for my reward.]

Silence didn't know what prompted her to stop herself from loading the other, she didn't know the burning desire in her chest to help those regardless of the walk of life they came from. She didn't know if it was her own choice or the small subtle remains of K in her system. Did Yggdrasil have her previous iteration offer a helping hand to this poor bird? Or was it her own pure will that allowed her to stop this beast from claiming it's first kill? The shutmon felt herself pull at some of that data, not enough to load him completely but it was a natural reaction. A winner to loser of sorts. Even with that thanks that she heard, the shutmon barely recognized it. She'd find herself passing out fully after he had turned into a digitama. The fight draining both her and her opponent. It would be hours still before the shutmon would sit up, hands clutching at something round. She'd look around wildly, her body aching, bruising and she felt tired for the first time in a long time. She'd look down at what was in her hands; eyes widening a bit and she'd stutter as she realized what it was. "Y-you? I- I went that far? J-jeez..."The shutmon slowly pulled herself up, wincing as she felt her body start to shift. She didn't realize it, but she had become more armored. Heavily so. Her tail had gained some pretty hefty armor. Her body's leather was now supplemented with pieces from her opponent. She still looked a lot like how she did before but she was bulkier. Stronger looking. Downright scary in terms of things. She could even feel her goggles weight shift on her head. Her attention shifted to her hands, where some metal had shifted in place to covering the top of her palms; leaving it mostly open. She had gotten stronger... But at what cost? Gritting her teeth and stepping heavily towards her ship. The shutmon was gifted with the loud and steady thump of her now 'stronger' form. She was gifted with a brief vision of something simular happening in a past life. An examon vs an aegisdramon... But that was more internal. Was it because there was such a gap in abilities here? Or that it had supplemented her somehow? She didn't know, all she did know is that she needed to take care of this egg and that mikemon was probably going to be baffled about her randomly showing up with an egg...
With combat over silence pulled data from Cornixmon. Loading the technique Discordant Ensemble to her shutmon form! Discordant Ensemble: Shakes her tail violently, creating a harsh metallic dissonance that appears to originate from all directions. Does damage to all listeners, and for one post, all Digimon hearing this attack will not be allowed to use named abilities in their next post. (3 post cooldown)
