"..."
Syre gave a sigh. That silence - and of course the spirit didn't say anything. Well, maybe this was a bit too much to drop on Yomi all at once. Whereas before she looked unsure, now the Renamon simply looked paranoid, earning weird looks from the other Digimon around as she walked on by.
"... Its alright. I guess its a pretty hard thing to hear, all things considered." She kept her tone level, ear flicking as Yomi said what she wanted to do. Stay around Rosewood? Try and get some bits?
"You'll probably want to work at an inn or a restaurant, in that case. Not a lot happens in Rosewood - pretty pointless to try and mess with a city out in the middle of nowhere - and its just an up-and-coming place, so I'm sure you can find some sort of work out here. But..."
She tilted her head. "You really sure you're okay with something like that? With the spirit and all... I mean, if you just stay here, how are you going to get home?"

Yomi shook her head, hearing Syre's objections to her plan.
"I'm not planning to stay. I intend to get home, whatever it takes me. But what little the camp at Deepvalley spared me is gonna run out soon. And I doubt even my spirit would deny that supplies are needed to travel. Am I right?!"
The renamon called out and looked up, as if there was someone there to talk to. There was no response though, the spirit likely tired from the battle they fought, and seeing it beneath himself to deal with such trivial matters like ... logistics. Having waited for a little while, the fox looked back at the small black cat in front of her.
"He does not seem to mind... For now, at least. Do you know any taverns around here who could use a pair of hands with three digits each?"
Yomi had asked, looking at her hands with a bewildered look again.
I think ninja turtles had these, too...

Syre gave a blink as Yomi gave her response.
She wasn't planning to just stay - to stew around in Rosewood with some dead end job. Her goal was more direct, to try and get whatever supplies she needed to try and get ahead, to travel, and to figure this out for herself. The BlackGatomon looked astonished for a moment...
... Before she chuckled, hiding her mouth behind a glove. "Eheh... I'm sorry, I'm sorry! Its just that I'm glad." The cat stood up taller, stretching out her back. "You've had to deal with all of this garbage and you still haven't given up. You're quite strong in that way, Yomi." Syre gave her a compliment - and finally moved to answer her question. "So put a smile on your face, and look for work in any inn or tavern around here. I'm not familiar with the place, unfortunately, but its not hard to find people needing a hand or two. This is a brand new city, after all."

"Yeah... well, my mom is going to kill me if I am not home soon, so..."
Yomi chuckled awkwardly, though it was a very fake and unconvincing chuckle. Most of the time, she simply tried not to think too hard about her current situation. Things were depressing enough as it was. Her ears folded against her head, as she nodded and bowed to the cat person in front of her.
"Thank you for helping me this far. I will not trouble you with my presence any longer. If you want to see me, I'll ... probably be in the tavern for the next few weeks. Wherever that is. I will see you around, Syre!"
Waving her hand and bidding her goodbyes, Yomi would walk away, down the main street, and look for any signs that said 'Help wanted' or 'Tavern here'. Somehow, she expected the place to be called something like 'Crusty Dragon' or 'Prancing Pony...mon.' To fit the rustic adventurer starter village vibe Rosewood was giving her. Hell, it was even called like some place from that other game everyone liked to play back home.
Washing dishes, really? Is this the limit to your ambition?
The spirit asked, as the fox walked down the street, gawking at some signs.
"You have a better idea?" - the girl exhaled, in annoyance.
You have a sword. The power of life and death. Use it.
Yomi rolled her eyes at that. But just as she was busy concocting a witty reply, she hit a sign, face-first. Reeling back and rubbing her nose, she looked at the letters and what they meant. Even though she never learned the alphabet and language of digimon, being a Renamon immediately helped her understand what was written on it. Her eyes widened, as she read it, slowly.
"Adventure... guild... Help... wanted?"
