Pickle appeared in a flash, D-tector in hand as they looked around at their brand new surroundings. They had just been in their apartment, testing out some of the new things they had recently acquired shortly after their first introduction to the Digital World, and had noticed a new function on their Digivice. Selecting it had caused a menu full of locations to pop up, and after selecting one at random they had waited out the buffer time before vanishing from the real world to find themself deep in a forest. They smiled, looking around before picking a direction and making their way further into the woods. They had time to kill anyway before they could head home, so they figured they might as well explore.
They walked about for maybe half an hour, head on a swivel as they took in everything around them in this part of the digital world, before a noise caught their attention. A rustle of leaves, a small startled sound, and then a loud "Shhh!" led them over to a nearby shrub.
"Hello there! I'm not dangerous, don't worry! I won't hurt you!" She crouched in front of the bush with a big inviting smile, careful to keep a bit of distance between herself and whatever was hiding there. "If you wanted to come out and talk, I'd be happy to you know!"
There was a brief pause before three small shapes emerged and Pickle nearly fell over in the face of the cuteness that they now found themself faced with. Three very young, very nervous Digimon stood before them; a Kokmon, a Gummymon, and a Puwamon sitting on the forest floor as all four stared for a moment before the Gummymon hopped forward slightly.
"You're really not dangerous? Because if you are you have to tell us, that's the rules you know." It spoke confidently, nodding along as it spoke to emphasize its point. "You're not allowed to lie about that sort of thing."
Pickle's heart just about melted as soon as she heard the squeaky voice coming from the tiny creature, but managed to maintain her composure long enough to cross her heart with one hand. "I promise I'm not gonna hurt you at all. I'm only dangerous to bad people you know? And you don't look bad at all." She grinned down at them, shifting from her crouch so that she could sit comfortable before the trio. "Whatcha doin out here?" The three young Digimon shared a look as they crowded closer around her, apparently having taken her promise to heart.
"We got lost. We know we weren't supposed to wander off but we just wanted to explore a bit and then..." The little Puwamon looked down. "We went too far and now we can't remember how to get back..." The Kokomon nuzzled against the Puwamon to comfort it, all three now looking sad, and a bit scared as well.
Leaning back on her arms, Pickle looked up to the branches of the trees overhead for just a moment as she thought over their predicament. "Well where do you need to go back to? I can help you get home!" She gestures up to the trees overhead. "I'm really good at climbing and I might be able to see where we need to go if I'm up high enough. Is there a town nearby or something?"
All three looked up at them like Pickle had just declared they were about to perform a miracle. "We need to get back to the Village of Beginnings! It's really pretty and colourful and I don't think we got far but we're small and we can't get back and..." The Kokomon trailed off, out of breath. The other two nod in agreement.
"Can you really help us get back?"
"Of course! Here, hide in the bush again for a bit, I'll go up and see what I can see. I'll get you guys back home in no time!" And with that Pickle hefted from her bag the grappling hook she had also acquired not so long ago, taking careful aim up in too the branches of the nearest tree before firing away and zipping up into the canopy. With the aid of the grappling hook, reaching the uppermost branches took hardly any time at all, and as she peered out through the leaves she was greeted with the sight of practically endless forest, green stretching as far as her eyes could see, Well, except for one spot. Maybe a half hours walk away she could just see the tops of buildings, bright and colourful and entirely out of place in the sea of greenery. Taking careful note of the direction, Pickle dropped back down to speak to the three In-Training Digimon hiding below.
"I saw it! It's not too far away, I know where to go. If you follow me we'll get back to the Village soon!" Pickle grinned and, with an enthusiastic affirmative from all three of the young Digimon, they set off in the direction of the Village of Beginnings.

For the time being, the trek through the Eastern Timberlands was peaceful. A calm breeze blew through the woods, rustling the boughs above - and twigs and leaves would crunch underfoot, as the four made their way along. Even off in the distance, there would be the sound of running water; perhaps a creek, or a river? It was hard to say, given that it sounded as though it was a ways off; but either way, the natural ambience of the forest made for a calm and soothing walk for the Village of Beginnings, beyond...
... Or... at least, it did at first. It was perhaps 10 minutes into the walk, and things thus far had been rather uneventful, as far as actual troubles go. But as the sound of the river got louder - a sign that it was curving, crossing over their path - with it came the sound, the sound of voices that were... Calling out? Crying out? It was hard to make words out quite yet, but the calls would be coming from towards the river; and the voices certainly sounded distressed.
If Pickles were to come closer, she and her trio of travel companions would begin to be able to make out the voices more properly; and none of it, to say the least, was exactly comforting.
"G-get away from me; let go..!"
"Mama! Papa! W-wwaahhhh!"
It was like a mix of voices, a majority of them sounding rather young; perhaps even around the age of the very in-trainings that Pickles was escorting. Now that they could properly hear the shouting though... It didn't sound so much like a multitude of people calling out at once. No, it was as though the multiple voices were melting and melding into each other, shifting into one another as they pleased, as the source of the shouting continued to make distressed sounding calls...
... It was hard to say, what, exactly, could have a voice like this; but what was Pickles going to do, in the face of someone calling out like this..?

The Babies more or less seemed confident now that they knew which way to go. The Kokomon especially seemed to have a good head for maintaining a specific direction. The four of them idly conversed as they went, the baby Digimon bouncing questions after question off of Pickle, asking everything they could think of about humans, their new friend, how she had gotten to the digital world, and many more. It was a lovely day in all honesty, the weather wasn't too hot or too cold, there was just enough of a breeze to keep things from feeling stuffy, and with the sounds of nature all around, Pickle rapidly found herself relaxing as she walked the lost children back to their home. Of course, this being the Digital World, such tranquility was bound to be broken eventually. The sound of distorted wails of distress shattered the relaxed atmosphere in an instant, Pickle and the three young Digimon turning to the sound in surprise. While the trio of babies began to pull behind Pickle in fear, Pickle herself pulled out her D-Tector before turning to whisper at the little ones. "Keep going, quietly now okay? You know which direction you need to go. When you get there, get help if you can, I'm going to see what's happening. If someone's in trouble, I have to help." They grinned at their new little friends. "Don't worry, I'll be fine. Just make sure you get home quickly and safely. I'll follow when I can." There was always a chance this was a trap after all, they couldn't be leading little ones into it. Best to send them out of here before a fight broke out. As the three baby Digimon hurried off, darting from cover to cover as quietly as possible while still keeping their speed up, Pickle began to run towards the noise, bringing their D-tector up before their face. There was no time for flashy poses, people were in danger. "Spirit, evolve!" A sphere of swirling light engulfs Pickle they run, and for a moment their momentum slows as they change, and then the sphere breaks open as Labramon crashes through the front of it to continue the charge towards the voices. This wasn't the first time they had transformed like this, but there was still a feeeling of strain running under the adrenaline now coursing through them. They could smell the river now, the scent of trees surrounding them, and a strange scent overlaying that of the water before they break through to see what was happening. "Hey!"

As the trio of in-training hurried off for the safety of the village, it was likely they would quickly disappear from sight into the undergrowth of the forest. Perhaps leaving a group of children this young to navigate their way home themselves wasn't the safest idea; but at least they likely knew where they were going, and had plentiful cover to hide amongst. In the meantime though, what was more pressing was the concern of the strange, distressed shifting voices. As Pickles spirit-evolved into Labramon, the scents and sounds around them would indeed become more apparent; the strange little distortions in the cries for help, the sound of something clicking or gnashing together in-between the shouts... ... as well as the faint smell of traces of data, of liquid data. Not from just one digimon, but instead from a good handful of different digimon; some far more stale than others. It seemed that wherever Pickle was going, multiple digimon had gotten hurt there; hurt, or something even worse. And those scents and sounds would only grow stronger and more apparent as she continued to make her way towards the river. It was likely that Pickles could also sense the signal of a digimon out here, now that she didn't have to pick it out from amongst the signals of the three in-trainings. That digimon's scent was much more fresh than the scents of the digimon who had gotten hurt here - and it had a strange, metallic, fishy tang to it; which raised the question of, what kind of digimon was she about to meet..? Well, assuming that that was indeed the question she pondered, she wouldn't have to wonder on it for too long. Upon bursting onto the scene - a clearing along the shore of the river - she would be able to see for herself, just what awaited her... A strange, metallic fish-like digimon - a Babelmon - would be sitting upon the shore of the river; its tail barely submerged in the running water, whilst the rest of the body was on land; claws dug into the sand beneath it. Its mouth was wide open - the sounds of the distorted, distressed, wailing coming out from its mouth - while it otherwise appeared completely still, as though it were a statue, or as though it were in waiting... ... At least, until it noticed Pickle's presence. Almost like that aforementioned statue coming to life, there would be a brief creak as the Babelmon began to move; its jaws suddenly snapping closed, cutting off the voices that it seemed to have been producing. It'd briefly gnash its teeth, as it turned to regard the human-turned-Labramon; a low, almost electrical and guttural growl rising up from it. It seemed to almost be observing her from afar, just as she was likely observing it. A tense moment would pass initially, as it likely didn't take much for Pickles to put two-and-two together as to what, exactly, this Babelmon was here doing; what it had been doing for the past while. Babelmon didn't care what Pickles thought, though; in its more animalistic mind, all that it cared was that it had prey. Prey to hunt, prey to kill, prey to eat; and this prey might be different from the typical fare that it had been munching on - looking to be stronger, larger, and perhaps a bit strange-smelling compared to its last hunt - but it didn't care. It'd been growing fat and strong off of its last handful of hunts, here; and it would gorge on her data all the same. And with that in mind, Babelmon would attempt to capitalize on its opportunity. Eliciting that same electric snarl a second time, the Cyborg digimon would suddenly dart forward at Pickles, and attempt to close its powerful jaws on her leg with its Crush Chomper attack..! If this attack were to land, it'd begin to shake its head side-to-side; almost as though it were a dog or wild beast, more than a digimon..!
- Babelmon notices Pickles as she crashes onto the scene, and after a moment of consideration, makes the first move! - Charging forward, it attempts to bite Pickles with Crush Chomper! Move Used:[ATTACK] Crush Chomper: Babelmon bites at the target with powerful jaws; sometimes attempting to shake the foe as they bite! [1 Turn Cooldown] Cooldowns:Crush Chomper - 0/1

Pickle knew it was a risk, both to send the little ones off on their own and then to charge headlong into a potential fight with no knowledge of what they might be running into. But that didn't matter to them. What mattered was that someone might need help, or that someone was using calls for help to entrap others. Either scenario meant they had to go deal with the problem one way or another, that's just who they were. A threat had to be handled, a person in trouble had to be saved, a person in need had to be helped. The sky on Earth is blue, water is wet, Pickle helps people.
As Pickle burst through the trees and was met with the sight before them, it didn't take any longer than half a second for everything they had picked up on during their dash to this place to consolidate into one single idea. This creature was luring babies to eat them, it had to be dealt with. As soon as that thought realized itself in their mind, they snarled at the fish-machine Digimon before them and meeting the charge attempt it made with a movement of their own. Pickle leapt straight up into the air as the other Digimon crashed into the ground where they had just been standing, body twisting around to bare their teeth downwards at their foe.
"Retriever Bark!" A shockwave of sound and force burst from their mouth from above the fish creature, Pickle's aim to capitalize on gravity to smash it into the ground, crushing it between a metaphorical rock and hard place. As the arc of their jump carried them off to one side of the creature they moved backwards, careful to keep from getting between the creature and the water. The last thing they wanted was to be pulled into it's home turf!
From somewhere deep inside of them, they could feel the protective nature of their spirit thrumming with approval and excitement, a fight to eliminate a threat and protect children exactly the sort of thing it craved.
-The Babelmon charges Pickle, but Pickle is ready and dodges by leaping up into the air! - Pickle uses Retriever Back in the hopes of slamming it into the ground for further damage! -Pickle attempts to move away to create space between the two again!
Move used: [Attack]Retriever Bark: Attacks at medium to short range via a powerful bark.

Babelmon would crash into the earth; jaws closing on and getting a mouthful of grass and dirt as its prey leaped above it, deftly dodging the bite as a result. It'd make a mix of strange noises; something resembling the sound of a drill morphing into a brief 'beep' from a car, before it'd attempt to get back up onto its feet (the one benefit of being such a stout little digimon, was that standing up whilst upright wasn't too hard) and turn back towards Pickle...
... Just in time for it to be struck by Retriever Bark; the force of the sonic attack briefly pushing it back down into the ground! Another car beep, as though it was expressing disgruntlement; but this one was a bit quieter, as it rose back up onto its feet - cocking its head from one way, and then the other, before it began to speak, seemingly.
"Re...triever Bar-bar-bar-bark?"
It was almost as though someone took a soundclip of Pickle calling the attack, and put it into a faulty record; her voice coming out of the Babelmon's mouth in a distorted, but otherwise near-perfect, imitation. It'd continue to repeat this imitation to itself a couple of times as it steeled itself - as though testing it, seeing if it liked how it sounded, until...
"... Retriever Bark!"
... suddenly, the Babelmon would charge forwards at Pickle, and let out its own shockwave-inducing bark; sending a mimicry of the Labramon's own attack right back at her!
- Babelmon is struck by Retriever Bark; being shoved into the dirt between that, and the dodged Crush Chomper! - After a briefly unusual show of its ability to mimic sounds, Babelmon uses Mimicry to fire an imitation of Retriever Bark right back at Pickle!
Moves Used: [ABILITY] Mimicry: Babelmon is able to mimic things that it has heard before with near-perfect accuracy - such as voices, machinery, music, and certain types of moves. The only limit, is that it has to be a sound-based move that it has heard in use before; and that Mimicry's cooldown is that move's cooldown + 1 turn. [X + 1 Turn Cooldown]
[Attack]Retriever Bark: Attacks at medium to short range via a powerful bark.

Pickle silently cheered to herself as her attack worked just as planned, grinning viciously at her foe. And then it started to speak, to repeat her own words, and Pickle found herself utterly dumbfounded as it seemed to be almost testing the words it was replicating. She was so caught off guard that when in charged at her she was a second too late in responding. Her own attack slammed into her side as she turned to try and dash away an sent her reeling backwards as a result.
"Ow. Ow ow ow. Ohhh you fishy jerk." She staggered to her feet and shook herself off, feeling the dull ache in her side from the attack. "Fine. You wanna play? let's play." And in a near imitation of her own of the Babelmon's first attack, she charged it, only to suddenly juke to the left and slide in low, jaws open and teeth glowing with energy as she attempted to bite into it's belly. "Gnaw!"
Should she connect, she fully planned to attempt to knock her foe over to continue tearing at it while avoiding its mouth, intending to go for its legs next in order to cripple its movements. While ordinarily her teeth may have a hard time getting through the metallic armor Babelmon possesses, with her enhanced bite she's certain shouldn't find herself having too much of a problem.
-The Babelmon's mimicked attack connects with a confused Pickle. - Pickle retaliates with a speedy, agile charge into range to utilize her Gnaw ability to increase her bite strength -Pickle plans to attempt to topple and then cripple her foe should she be able to
Move Used: [Attack] Gnaw: Infuses energy into the jaws and teeth to increase bite strength.

"Bark! Bark! Bark!" The Babelfish would briefly chant the 'bark' portion of Retriever Bark as its attack landed on Pickle; claws kneading into the ground beneath it, and head tilting to either side. It was hard to say if it was out of any form of excitement or similar positive emotion at having landed the attack, or if it was simply repeating the word because it liked repeating them. It seemed as though the latter was the most likely explanation, though; as it would imitate other words that Pickles was using, mixing together random phrases and words from the things she was saying. "You fishy. Fishy play jerk. Jerk fishy jerky fish play plerky?"
At this point, the Babelmon was, well, babbling nonsense. It still had its eyes firmly set on Pickle as she darted in for the bite, though; seeming prepared to meet her in the middle with a bite of its own..! What it didn't expect, though, was for Pickle to suddenly strafe around it - and it only had enough time to turn around, for her fangs to sink into its shoulder as it tried to face her; bowling over onto its side!
The metallic armor was indeed tough, though; denting underneath her fangs, and eliciting a... Car alarm of pain from it? It was the only way to describe the sudden alarm-esque whistle it'd elicit, in reaction to the pain, as it began to thrash underneath Pickle. "Gnaw! Gnaw! Gnaw! Gnaw!" In the midst of its thrashing and shouting, though, it'd attempt to bite her back; the head being just able to crane towards one of her forelegs, as it attempted to use Crush Chomper on her once more!
- Babelmon is struck by Gnaw in the shoulder, and knocked onto its side. - Whilst being Gnaw'd, Babelmon begins thrashing, and attempts to use Crush Chomper on Pickle's leg!

Ordinarily Pickle would likely have felt some degree of success at knocking her opponent over as planned, however at this point they had found themself falling deep into the mindset of the Sprit whose form they had taken, and all they could focus on was the end of this enemy that had killed so many and could have become a danger to so many more. It was like a low pulse of icy fury in the back of their mind, and Pickle did nothing to try to keep it out. They didn't know how to even start trying, they'd never experienced something quite like this before. This close to Babelmon all they could smell was the stale stench of however many little ones it had consumed, and all they could hear was the wonderfully deserved expressions of pain it let out.
It was only due to this heightened battle sense that they managed to pull their leg up and away in time to avoid the shearing jaws of their downed foe, instead using the needed movement to avoid the attack to change target. As their front legs landed on top of their foe and their teeth continued to glow, they twisted their head around just enough to attempt to clamp onto a hind leg. They were going to do their very best to try and bite the entire thing off if they could. "GNAW."
There was something extra layered in their voice now, an undercurrent of righteous fury that hadn't been present before. In Pickle's mind now melded so closely with what remained of their spirit, this creature was truly deserving of the word monster. It deserved to suffer and it deserved to die, and they would be the one to provide it's end.
- Pickle successfully knocks Bablemon over and moves onto the next stage of their plan - They move the target of their Gnaw attack to a hind leg to try and limit any movements Babelmon may try - Pickle's Spirit is beginning to override their usual nature. They are likely to get more vicious as this fight drags on.

Once more, Crush Chomper would land on nothing; its teeth gnashing together at the air with a sound like a bear trap. It would, briefly, beep at this as it continued to thrash under Pickle; certainly not about to make it easy to pin down. And this only became apparent as it would use the opportunity of Pickle changing targets, to squirm away; her fangs just barely grazing its tail as it got away, continuing to babble nonsense. "GNAW. GNAW. JERKY PLERK GNERKY!"
The Babelmon would right itself, as it managed to get away; making a run for the river's edge. Instead of jumping into the water however, it would whirl around once it reached the sandy shore to face Pickle; something seeming to be up its sleeve...
It wouldn't take long for Pickle to figure out just what that thing was, though - the Babelmon inhaling deeply, before letting out a blast of water at her! The Pressure Blast attack - if it landed - would surely hurt; feeling as though Pickle were being hit by a pressure washer, and it was even aimed right at her face..!
Though the Babelmon didn't appear to be anything more than a wild beast in nature - aside from its limited intelligence in using its mimicry - it certainly seemed to be quite a vicious fighter...!
- Babelmon is able to squirm out from under Pickle just in time; her fangs grazing its tail as it moves away from her. - Next, Babelmon moves towards the water's edge, and uses Pressure Blast on Pickle!
Move Used: [ATTACK] Pressure Blast: Babelmon fires off a medium-to-short range blast of pressurized water at the foe.

The enemy had gotten away. They had squirmed out from under her paws and was running for the water. Pickle whirled to give chase, only to pause when it didn't dive into the water but instead simply stood at the edge. She bared her teeth in a snarl and began stalking forward after it, expecting some form of retaliation.
And retaliation is what she got. A pressurized stream of water firing from its mouth in her direction. With no time to dodge she lets the instinct bubbling up inside of her to take over. "Barricade Howl!" A sonic wave creating a bubble before her that impacted with the oncoming attack, reducing the force behind it significantly. While it still struck and it stung like mad, the effect was lessened to the point that Pickle found herself unphased. She continued her slow advance.
"You've been eating children. Do you really think that is a sin that can be forgiven? You will fall here and now, and we will ensure it." Pickle was hardly aware of what she was saying as she launched into a sprint at her enemy once more, the words coming out as if from another source. She didn't juke this time, just headed straight for the Babelmon, low to the ground, closing the distance
- Pickle uses Barrier Howl to reduce the power of the oncoming attack from Babelmon, - Pickle continues to meld on a mental level with her spirit.

Another sound-based move. Babelmon would tilt its head one way, and then the other; babbling once more. "Howl howl Barrihowl bade Barkicade..." It didn't seem to even react to the fact that its attack didn't land, this time; focused more on Pickle's slow advance and her words, for the time being. "Eatdren singiven, Fall fall fall sin sin sin! Eat! Eat! Eat!"
Was it a good idea, to use Barricade Howl against a simple projectile move, as opposed to the harder-hitting Crush Chomper, let alone in front of a digimon whose deal was mimicry? It was hard to say; but the Babelmon wasn't using the move immediately, that much was for certain, at least.
Instead, as Pickle began to sprint towards Babelmon, the cyborg-fish would be more than happy to meet her in the middle; sand kicking up as it began to charge forward at her, fangs bared. Once it got close enough, the Babelmon would attempt to leap upwards at her throat; attempting to bite her in the neck with Crush Chomper! "GNAW! GNAW! GNAW!" It would shout and chant as it came in; and if its attack was successful..?
... Well, being bit in the throat certainly didn't sound safe.
- Babelmon meets Pickle's charge halfway, and attempts to use Crush Chomper to bite her in the throat!

Pickle utterly disregarded the nonsensical babbling of the Babelmon, instead focusing in on it's headlong charge to meet her. The plan that had begun to form the moment she began her own charge in the first place crystallized at her enemy did exactly what she had hoped, and as they neared each other she ducked down even lower to the ground. "You will suffer, monster."And then, Pickle in the form of Labramon appeared to slip, skidding along the ground and twisting to be belly up, rearlegs kicking upwards to slam into Babelmon's lower jaws at they opened. Meanwhile, her slide brought her own jaws level with the area on the Babelmon's underside that she had already damaged and she brought her head as close to it as possible, nose tip brushing the metallic underbelly as she opened her mouth and let out a furious shout. "RETRIEVER BARK!" The blast wave, unleashed so close to her foe's already damaged and weakened armor, would hopefully hit hard enough to penetrate it and perhaps even throw the fishy menace into the air.
-Pickle uses the momentum of her charge to slide underneath the Babelmon -Pickle's rear legs come up and kick it's jaws closed in order to prevent it's attack. - Pickle releases a Retriever Bark as close to the damaged portion of Babelmon's armor as possible, hoping to take advantage of the previously done damage. Move: [attack] Retriever Bark: Attacks at medium to short range via a powerful bark.

Babelmon did not exactly expect Pickle to slide under its leap; the cyborg fish being unable to adjust or change its directory mid-jump, and thus being unable to do much about the dodge. However, when she'd attempt to bring her legs up to kick Babelmon in the jaw, she'd find that it'd take more than a basic kick to counter its bite; its jaws were much too strong for that! Instead, all she'd simply succeed in is putting her legs at risk for being bitten.
The Retriever Bark, however, was more successful. Although it was difficult to aim at the shoulder from this angle, the blast of sonic energy would proceed to - indeed - launch the Babelmon into the air! It would twist and tumble, flying in a steep arc; before it would, finally, begin to descend like a rock (or a hunk of metal shaped into a fish) into the river with an audible 'sploosh'!
For a few tense moments, things would be quiet from here; as the Babelmon did not immediately surface. Did it run away? Was it ko'd under the water? For those couple of moments, it was hard to exactly say; but it didn't take long for the Babelmon to be sighted - surfacing a short distance downriver! The cyborg-fish would pull itself back onto shore, its metallic surface dripping with water, as it continued to babble aimlessly to itself.
Once it was able to regain its bearings and spot Pickle once more, however; would come its next move. It'd attempt to charge her once more; lashing out with its front claws in a basic attack!
This wasn't all, either; the beast's babbling began to get increasingly louder, and louder, as it came in close - and so did its choice of vocals. Car alarms, metal ripping and tearing, loud drills and even the sounds of screaming and yelling from its past victims; the Babelmon would proceed to make an utter ruckus of noise that blended together into an obnoxious and headache-inducing Output Noise!
- Babelmon's Crush Chomper isn't completely countered by the basic kick - It is hit and launched by Retriever Bark, falling into the river! - Once it is able to pull itself onto land, it counters both with a basic claw attack, as well as Output Noise
Move Used: [ABILITY] Output Noise: Babelmon harries and harasses their target, all the whilst making a terrible racket of noise; breaking down the target's focus, and likely giving them a headache. Any moves that are currently on cooldown remain on cooldown for 1 turn longer. [3 Turn Cooldown]
Cooldowns: Crush Chomper - 1/1; Ready Next Turn Output Noise - 0/3

The jaws of the Babelmon closed around their foot as they tried to jerk it away, and Pickle let out a yelp of pain as the teeth gouged their flesh when their opponent was flung up and away. They scrambled to their feet and, testing their weight on the injured foot elected to take advantage of the reprieve to tend to it. "Cure Liqueur..." They murmured, healing tears dripping from their eyes onto their injuries, pain ebbing away as the bruise inflicted at the start of the fight vanished entirely and the deeper injury to their hind leg nearly closed up. The pain was still there, but reduced to the point that it wouldn't likely hinder their movements.
As the Babelmon scrambled back onto land and got it's bearings, Pickle began to move back towards it, and it seemed it had much the same idea. Pickle met claws with claws, rearing up on their hind legs to rake at their foe just as its claws dug into them. The noise pouring from its mouth posed different issue entirely, but the anger thrumming within Pickle's mind kept them focused enough not to flinch at the sound, though it still had the desired effect.
The strain from maintaining their transformation throughout this fight could perhaps become a problem soon enough, but for now they were holding strong, the moment they took to heal themself providing a second wind to help them carry on the fight.
-Pickle takes the Crush Chomper to their foot but succeeded in blasting Babelmon away.
-Pickle takes the opportunity provided by their success to heal some of their wounds with Cure Liqueur -Pickle has engaged the Babelmon in melee, the effects of Output Noise delaying their ability recharge by one turn.
