School Festival Finale (OPEN)

Musimon wanted to bust laughing but he kept still like an adorable toy. But that was just making Hackmon fume all shades of mad. However, what was not expected was for the girl Alexis to get embarrassed and run off red-faced. Realizing this, Rei quickly ran after her. "Uh-- wait! Wait!!" She cried as she ran after her.

She ran off to a less occupied place with fewer people, in the shadow of the school. As Rei finally caught up, she huffed and puffed, with Musimon still on his head. "Musimon, you went too far this time!" she semi-scolded to him.

Finally breaking the act, he let out a giggle and had his hand-ears cover his mouth to contain his laughter. "Sorry, but it was totally worth it-- no offense miss," he replied to Alexis.

It was clear now to Alexis Musimon was the one who did the voices. Rei tried to calm her down as she caught up, still short of breath. Though Hackmon would walk up as she explained. "I'm sorry about Musimon. He is a bit of a prankster. He manipulates sound waves. You know, sound waves? The vibrations that make sound and music? He mimicked your friend's voice and played back his own version to fake his voice. He just is... silly that way," she explained as best she could.

All the while Musimon gave a wave at Alexis with his hand-ear, to say hello... till Hackmon came to them steaming mad. He began to threaten them, the city and stuff. Musimon frowned at the dark-haired human, clearly now sensing he was a Digimon in disguise.

"Oh, okay I'm sorry-- for not suspecting you're probably quite ugly under that holo suit. Seems like someone is trying to compensate for something..." he said hintingly.

Before Hackmon could enact any wrath of any kind, Musimon finally got wise and hopped off Rei's head and ran off-- evading Hackmon's attempts to catch him. The rabbit was a quick one as he gave a giddy chuckle and dashed out into the school's section of the festival.

"Musimon! Wait, come back here!" Rei cried, but he was now gone. Partly for him to evade the enraged Hackmon, partly to explore more of the school without Rei's parental supervision, as ironic as it sounded.

Rei sighed as she shook her head. "Great... now I need to find him. Look, I really don't know who is what, but if you're a tamer, can you help me find him? Also, where is your partner? Is HE really a Digimon?" she asked, a little nervous about his threats to destroy people and the city.

With things calmed down, with Rei and Alexis anyway, they would be able to go explore the school festival. While Rei had enjoyed going to just enjoy the festivities, now they had to find the missing Musimon before Hackmon or another person found Musimon and realized he was more than some costumed kid or stuffed toy. Though likely, Hackmon or whatever kind of Digimon he was wouldn't easily find the little guy. He was crafty to blend into the school.

Rei led Alexis through the first floor hall of the school building, now seeing the festival had now gone to start in the classroom. She saw cafes, shops and special venues or performances being done. Still, while she found them amazingly interesting, none of them showed something that Musimon could disguise himself in or would hide out in. When that rabbit wanted to get a move on, he moved quickly.

"Oh brother... and god forbid I run into my brother here," she said, recalling her brother's class was nearby, likely being set up in the backfield of the school. She looked around, hoping to her Digimon. "Where could he have run off to? Musimon? Musimon come back!" she called out aloud but in a low tone to keep people from overhearing her.

Though a bit nervous, Rei's eyes soon rested upon someplace that looked like a shady place to hide. Though likely something that 'Hackmon' might find interesting but it was a velvet shaded, dark room with an elegant sign written 'Fortune Teller' written above the door.

"Think he could be in there?" Rei asked Alexis, a little nervous to go in alone.

Rei though didn't know Alexis that well, but felt comfortable enough with her to allow her to come along. Sure, she came off as a princess, but Rei did have an admiration for the Disney princesses. Just made her feel that magic could really happen in life, at least before she met Musimon when he was 'magical' at times.

The two entered the dark 'tent' in the schoolroom. It was dark with fake candles glowing on parts of the room as they approached a table. The darkroom was dropped in velvet colored blindes and fabrics, including the table. A single crystal ball rested on the table, along with a variety of cards that surrounded it. Soft, relaxing music but a soft piano tune that bordered on creepy.

"Who goes there? Have you come to have your fortune read?"" a voice cackled softly in the dark. Emerging from the dark was a woman. She wore black and red, in an elegant costume that resembled that of a witch. Clearly many were wearing costumes today so Rei didn't even consider it a problem. She appeared human but hard to tell in that lighting and the witch's hat she wore. She had blonde hair and odd eyes that looked upon them. She also had an odd 'scarf' that resembled a black cat'. "Welcome, welcome. Come in, sweet girl," she said and urged Rei towards the table.

"Um..." Rei looked at Alexis , a bit unsure, but approached anyway. "I was wondering... I lost a friend of mine. A little yellow rabbit critter running around. Did you see one?"

The witch looked a bit perplexed. "A rabbit? No I fear not, but I can look into my crystal ball... and try to find him for you. " she offered, her tone eager.

Elsewhere in the school, Musimon had slinked away. He had evaded Hackmon and found a safe place to rest and relax in the under-construction tents of the haunted house. They wouldn't be open till later that afternoon, so Musimon could relax as he sat at the foot of a giant Frankenstein monster made out of plastic. Having snuck a bit of food from one of the vendors as he ran, he popped in bits of cotton candy from a stick he held in one hand, and pulled parts of it from his hand-ears into his mouth. He looked happy as he soon began to tap his foot.

Almost out of instinct, music started to play. He was a living music player so it was bound to happen, but someone might take notice of the music playing. Eventually he began to enter a jig, hopping back and forth with glee.
