As the missiontakers arrived on Whitewater, what looked like a Jungle Mojyamon approached them. He's wearing a tropical hat and sunglasses, and albeit there's no tropical clothes, he looked like quite influential. He offered handshakes for the braves. "Ah, glad to see you here, friends! I assume that you guys are the undertaker of my little commission, yes?" he asked. "Name's Rumshi Beegfeet, I'm one among many owners of Villas in Binary Archipelago you see. I assume you guys knows of its existence? No? Well, for you guys who have no idea, the archipelago is something akin to small island clusters. Some are privately owned, like one of mine. They're part of our livelihood you see... Usually in tourist month like now I could get three to five clients looking to rent my humble villa..." it's clear that the Digimon have such But afterward, Rumshi's eyebrows creased down as he looked very distressed. "...But you see, there... was an incident. It was at one place, and then never heard again, but apparently it recently... spread, you see... Here, you go, please read this if you're interested in the full story of it." It's a clipping of a local newspaper. It looks like they don't have to read too much thanks to it. BINARY ARCHIPELAGO CRISIS!? UDO (Unidentified Digital Organism) ATTACK! Local Maritime Police said they're "currently investigating!"
Reported Wednesday (21/5 DWD (Digital World Date)), a privately owned island in Binary Archipelago was attacked by UDO of unknown origin and nature. By the report of humans and Digimons alike who was escaping from it, the Digimon resembled a squid with purplish red skin, with height about as tall as two floors villa. The creature is said to 'spit poisons', behaves erratically, and 'is in pain'. It's unknown what caused it to attack, with the report saying that no one was actively harassing said creature or behaves threateningly. Currently, the Maritime Police is trying to track said UDO.... "This was several months ago I believe. The culprit is just one apparently, and we believed that's all after it suddenly just... vanished for a while, but... after a while... it returned. And it's the same thing all over. Attacking everyone in range, poisons on the sands and whatnot... it's a disaster...There's been six attacks reported. The police are at it, but... for some reason they... vanished. I have no idea what to say other than that you see..." Looking around nervously, the Digimon finally seems to be done with his explanation. "Oh, uh, anything you want to ask, friends?"

Normally, a visit to Whitewater for Kenny and Skadi was nothing more than just a fun day trip, to soak up all the sights, sounds, and the odd night out that the city had to offer to them, but with the recent rumblings about the rise of the mysterious mutant Digimon starting to pop up in the past few weeks, they couldn't exactly afford to sit by and hope the problem solved itself. Hence why they were here today, listening to what Rumshi had to tell them.
The villa owner, as it turned out, had a bit of a problem; according to the newspaper clipping, a mysterious squid Digimon, most likely either a Gesomon or MarineDevimon, was rampaging throughout one of the islands, and apparently, was caught in a blind rage thanks to the 'pain'. After vanishing for a few months, it had resurfaced, attacking whatever poor sap happened to be caught in it's crazy rampage.
Needless to say, Kenny was starting to look a little nervous, and even the normally brave Skadi was starting feel some chills from looking at the newspaper clipping; whatever this Digimon was, it was certainly not normal, and something not to be taken lightly. But the two still kept a brave face, hoping that God, Buddha and Arceus would be smiling upon them once more as took on the threat, KIZNA teammates Nik and Brad, Skadi's trainer Silence, and loyal companions Ramona and Odin at their side, and considering what they knew of them, they knew they were in safe hands (paws?).
So what questions did they have for Mr. Beegfeet, anyways? Kenny raised his hand, "Yeah, so, quick question, do you know where this Digimon was last spotted? If at the very least, we could try and track it down from there." If anything, it could help them get a good jump on the monster before anyone else, and potentially save God knows how many more innocent civilians.

"Oh my gosh, Whitewater?! It's still around after all this time?!"
Bixby the Gomamon was visibly giddy with excitement as he was told by his friends Nik and Brad that they would be heading south today for a new investigative assignment aboard the Trailmon. Brad, being in his Bearmon form for the journey, smiled at this, glad that their new companion seemed like he appreciated the trip.
"Oh man, Whitewater was just a village when I remember it, but, now it's a resort city?! Oh gosh I wanna see this!" Bixby continued as they proceeded along the Trailmon tracks South from Terminus. It had been a long journey for them, and they had napped when they could, but soon they would arrive at their destination, travelling along the tropical plains leading down to the capital of the South.
Eventually, they arrived at the station, disembarked, and sought out their client - a Jungle Mojyamon dressed in tropical garb. He introduced himself as Rumshi Beegfeet. Nik turned his snort of mirth into a small cough at that name, but quickly regained his composure. Especially with known allies Kenny and Skadi in their presence.
His smile faded and he, Brad and Bixby paid attention as Rumshi explained the situation. They read the article with concern.
"A large digimon... behaving erratically and spitting poison." Brad repeated, looking a little worried. "A squid too, so a Marine digimon... this does sound pretty serious, what should we do?"
After Kenny asked his questions, Nik had some questions too. "Ah, just asking, was there any matching circumstances in these attacks? Or were they completely at random?" he asked. He thought that would be an important point in tracking down the wild enemy digimon - to see if they could push the scales a little, or if it was a true wheel of fortune or misfortune if they showed up or not.

Whitewater.
A place that silence didn’t really feel a whole lot of connection to. Perhaps it was the fact that she hadn’t been to it properly since her last life, hadn’t walked the walk. Talked the talk. In fact that was the case in many events but that didn’t stop her from wanting to protect it; just because she didn't know of a place didn’t mean it wouldn’t benefit from her somehow at some point!
This mission of sorts had her excited, more excited than she could contain. The shutmon pulling at her now plated forearms. Whatever fight had happened up on the moon had left one heck of a mark on her, forcing the shutmon’s body to be closer to a knight than what she used to be. Sure there was all that leather armor under a good chunk of plate mail. The shutmon adjusted her armored goggles so that they were above her eyes now so she could see the person in front of her a touch better.
Then there was the offered handshake which she took without a second thought. Rumshi Beegfeet? The shutmon raised a brow as he explained what was going on, who he was and the whole… Well what the incident was like. The shutmon leaned to read the clip of the newspaper, her ears flicking forward.
”Giant squid digimon with purplish red skin… Doesn’t really ring a bell. Tch.”
The shutmon eased back, rubbing at her muzzle thoughtfully. The others had questions like where they were spotted, circumstances and such… While the shutmon’s mind was working on the fact that they would have to likely fight the creature. Though she’d still give her input on the matter even if her mind wanted to address this as head on as she could!
”If it’s in pain then maybe something in the water is irritating it or maybe it’s young have been disturbed. Feral mon’s often have nests and stuff right? Best place to start would be where the attacks were yeah?”
Then she’d tutt a bit before rubbing at the back of her head, well she might as well get this out of the way…
”I get that we’re here to deal with this, but what exactly do you want us to do in regards to this mon? If it’s attacking like this is it feral? Does that mean we have to knock it out so we can move it, kill it or capture it?”
Honestly there was no dancing around these questions and it would be better if they from the get go knew what they needed to do so everyone could be on the same page. If they needed to capture it there would need to be some things that they would need to do hands down but… If they just needed to kill the damned thing that’d make it easier but it still wouldn’t solve the question as to ‘why’ it was attacking.
”Though if it’s just protecting it’s nest I can hardly argue with the darned thing… I know I’d be angry too if my young were disturbed.”

Quite the colorful cast! Two pairs and a solo Digimon. Rumshi isn't a fighter so he can't really gauge the other's fighting strength simply just by looking at them, but he trusts that they could stop this menace once and for all. He looked excited now, and almost very hopeful? Like, his eyes are definitely looking like they're his long awaited hero. Either way, questions, yes, questions.
"Ah, that's the thing...it's last spotted... In my villa," Rumshi admitted. His eyes swimming for more details, but honestly, remembering that sort of thing was bad for his heart, so much that he wanted to cry. But even then, with heavy heart, he took out map and pointed at the location.
"Here... and the attack first started here..." he pointed at an island quite far away, then the four attacks. There are no pattern except that it seems going in an arc. It doesn't move inland for some reason. "There are not known to be any... circumstances... but if you think about it, there are only tourist resorts there... and apparently it won't attack an island that is... empty? Almost as if it's trying to get to places where there are crowds," Rumshi explained. Whether that meas that it's trying to absorb more data, or simply just love attacking people... it's unknown.
The water irritating it? "But there are no report of leakage of any kind so far...? Not in last three years I believe!" might not be it then... "But as of what to do with it... well, it's regrettable, but my pals and I want you to kill it, but in likely event that you can deal with it in other way in your preference, you can do so... if that's fine with you. There has not been just Digimon victims but also human victims. That's why, we'd like you to please deal with it somehow... As long as the threat is eliminated, we pretty much doesn't care."

The optimistic look present on Rumshi's face was defiantly a reassuring one for the group. And for Kenny and Skadi in particular, that was just more of the encouragement they needed to not let him down at all costs. But the fact that it turned out the last known sighting of the mysterious monster just so happened to be the poor client's location in question made them feel quite sympathetic towards him. "I'm... sorry to hear that, Rumshi." Skadi muttered a little awkwardly, rubbing her arm, "But rest assured, by the time we're done with him, you won't have to worry about a thing anymore! Trust us on that!" Kenny nodded in turn, at least a little confident that they would be able to help in any way whatsoever.
As the group listened to Rumshi's explanation about where it happened to show up, mainly targeting crowded tourist resorts, and looking at his map, it wouldn't be off to assume that it was trying to absorb as much data as humanly possible. But for what reason? Wild Digimon mainly had to hunt and absorb just to survive in even the harshest environments. Was this creature trying to absorb data to keep the pain at bay, at least for a little while?
But as for what caused it, well, leakages were out of the question. All Rumshi knew was that this creature had to die, no matter what, for the good of everyone else. Kenny just nodded once more, "We understand, Rumshi. We'll do everything we can to stop this Digimon from menacing the entire Archipelago as soon as possible. You have our word." While normally Kenny and Skadi were against taking the life of another Digimon unless someone they loved was in trouble, this was an entire population at stake here, so the group would need to pull out all the stops to save countless lives.

Nik and Brad noticed the tall Shutmon next. While she did look like a powerful and imposing digimon, she was polite enough. Nik, Brad and Bixby acknowledged her presence with a nod, hoping they could acquaint themselves later.
Rumshi answered their question by answering in that the squid digimon only attacked places where there were others present. So he seemed to be drawn to other life... and attacked. Nik's face turned solemn. This was a serious matter. He said that he'd prefer for this digimon to be killed, but if they had other ways to deal with him, they could try.
"Sounds like a problem there." Bixby remarked, the Gomamon hovering over Nik's shoulder. "But problems can be solved, so, hopefully we can get to the bottom of this. That's what a proper scientist would do. Learn without resorting to destruction..." he paused though, then added, "But if we have no other choice, we'll do what we can to put an end to this thing."
"Those are my thoughts too." Brad chimed in. "It wouldn't be right to continue putting lives at risk if we can help it."
Nik nodded, then turned to the Shutmon that had arrived, wondering what her opinion on the matter was. Also, he found he had another question.
"So, uh, just noticing that none of us seem to have aquatic digimon forms." he said. "Would we have any means of transportation around this area so that we can find out where they are? Or would we need to swim using our diving gear?"

The shutmon shifted a bit and rubbed at her muzzle thoughtfully. The last location that the squid mon had been seen was in the villa that Rumshi owned. That would definitely make this entire event self serving but that… didn’t really matter did it? Maybe a draw for attention or something? The shutmon snorted at the idea and shook her head, that entire line of thinking was sick and Rumshi didn’t look the type. Instead at seeing the mon having a bit of an issue continuing she’d pat the mon’s shoulder in a firm, somewhat short motion.
”It’s all right Rumshi. We’re here to help and this is going to get handled.”
The shutmon leaned a bit and looked to skadi and kenny; she’d give them a small nod as the mon explained where the attacks were. Four attacks and how it was going in an arc… And it was attacking places that had people in it. The shutmon drew a line to follow that arc, frowning a little bit. She’d look about the map for a few moments, flicking her ears as the other mon continued to explain.
”If it’s attacking in an arc and only at locations that have mons. Where is the next habitated spot closest to this arc? This sounds like it’s targeting places on purpose which means that it can think and formulate plans. It’s either trying to establish a turf in your area or perhaps it’s doing something else. Hard to really know without seeing it.”
The shutmon paused at the fact that they wanted them to kill it, hearing that the shutmon grimaced and adjusted her wrist holster. Her blade had been twitching while she had been talking; she was ready and willing to fight at a moments notice. Hell that’s why she showed up in ultimate of all things!
”Eh? Oh. Yeah. I don’t have anything aquatic but I do have forms that can fly or in one instance just.. Not breathe at all. I do have a ship we could use? Though I don’t know if It’s rated for underwater…”
The shutmon blinked a bit and then realized she probably should iterate that point a little better… Honestly this was such a strange situation she didn’t know what to think!
”Erm… Well I mean it’s rated for space since that’s how I went to the moon the other week but..”

Hiroyo was late.
Hiroyo was very, very late if the way the group of people talking were any indication. After a certain amount of time groups were able to get into a
There was something about their postures: the way they stood, the call-and-answer of their speaking the suggested they had been talking for long enough to get a feel for when one person was finished talk and another could speak up.
It was an awful sight.
"This! Is! Your! Fault!" She hissed, each word paired with a step of her feet upon the sand. The Kunemon on her right shoulder gave the insect equivalent of a shrug. His jaws were busy being clamped onto the brim of her sun hat though if the annoyed way the stripes on his head were narrowed he wouldn't stay busy if she kept berating him.
Luckily the third member of the approaching group was more concerned the task at hand then placing blame. When the red head caught up to the group she put her hands on her knees for a moment and breathed as she caught her breath. The Kunemon on her shoulder put her hat back on her head and the Fanbeemon hovered beside her.
"We apologize for arriving behind schedule," he began as he looked at each member of the group assembled. By his count there were two other partnered Digimon and a solo 'mon. He nodded to them all and then to the Jungle Moyjamon and then drew back abruptly. "Ah, that is we are ah, still willing to-"
"Don't worry!" Hiroyo forced herself to straighten up as Morgan started stumbling over his words. Such unusual behavior but she was quick to spot the source: their client was visibly distressed! She flashed the hat-wearing Digimon her biggest most confident grin and flexed one arm while putting the other on her hip. She forced her breathing back to normal levels, ignoring the urge to gulp down lungfuls of air in favor of projecting a steady presence. "Whatever the issue, whatever the harm, as a fellow lover of fine hats I promise we'll do our very best to resolve it!"
"Yeah, have a little faith us! We might've been late for very understandable reasons, but we'll get your problem solved no sweat!" The Kunemon spoke up with a negligent gesture of his beak. The red head shot him a suprised look but he ignored her. The Fanbeemon, meanwhile, had quietly shifted back behind Hiroyo's back with a look of relief: he really wasn't good with upset people.

Well, at least some of them are very positive, and it definitely helps to reassure Rumshi that everything will be fine after all. However, yeah, he have to answer questions doesn't he? "Right, right, honestly I don't really care what you want to do with the UDO, as long as you keep it away from the binary archipelago! Everyone has been very tense about it, you see... because they think what next would be Whitewater after all.
As for t--"
And Hiroyo suddenly appeared out of nowhere. Well, she and her trio is definitely slightly late, but... Contrary to expectation that there will be angry people, instead Rumshi the Jungle Mojyamon seem to be happy instead. He clapped happily as Hiroyo approached.
"Oh yes, yes! Miss... Oda Hiroyo was it? Don't worry about being late! This is not the kind of mission that makes people get upset just simply because you're late! In fact, it's better to be late than no-show at all! Rumshi Beegfeet is the name, and I'm your client! Well... representative of clients anyway. Anyway, uh, should I give you the abridged version of the information?"
Rumshi then explained about the UDO (Unidentified Digital Organism) who attacked the Binary Archipelago, which is where people of whitewater (the more bourgeois and high class part of the population) owns their private villa and island. Rumshi is one of them, albeit it's a small villa. The UDO seem to attack islands with inhabitants in it especially, and is moving in an arc, from one island to another. It's described as a squid, who would cry in pain and yet spout toxic miasma around it.
"An interesting fact is that apparently after purging an entire island, it stayed on the dry land for a while, spouting more miasma, and then after some hour, it immediately goes back to the sea. I don't think the sea is harmful to it."
Where the next attack would be?
"...If we go from the theory that it usually takes three days in an island to "purge" it, then the next one would be..." Rumshi pointed at an island. "...Here."
The name of the island is Solbado, and apparently it's the biggest privately owned island. "...there should be... a huge party here later at night.. and well, uh... T-the owner told me to deal with it and he'll help me fixing up my villa and all..."
Peer pressure basically...
"And he told me that... he only can spare me 5000 bits for the effort of looking for a ferry for you guys... He'll reward you handsomely, but he said 'before the job is finished, there's nothing I can do for you, do it or no deal at all'... and well, as you heard, he barely... think about this seriously..."
Rumshi's voice getting smaller and smaller as he sounded more and more nervous, and desperate perhaps "...I tried to contact several people, ones I know and ones that registered in... association and sort... but... they all gave me same replies. That they don't want anything to do with the incident. I think if you just want to borrow the boat they'll be more understanding though... Though they probably won't lend it to you without the proper insurance if it got attacked or something..."
...Peer pressure, uncooperative locale, and most of all dirty bigwig who seem to not willing to get his income severely reduced from this UDO, yet very unwilling to take this seriously... Looks like this is going to be hard.
"Ummm... this is.. the only money I can prepare myself," Rumshi took out ten thousand bits to add to the offered 5000 bits, totalling to 15000 bits. "...I'm sorry it's not enough... but it definitely should be enough to rent a ship and probably pay for some of the expenses..."
Rumshi looked as if he's about to cry. This is not a manner to ask someone a job for... and it tears him up that he must cover up for his colleague's incompetence...

Post by Kenny O'Hara and Skadi on Nov 23, 2019 9:28:23 GMT
Already a plan was starting to formulate into Skadi's head on how to at least distract and restrain the monster, just to give the would-be victims as much time as possible for them to escape from the UDO's carnage and give everybody else a chance to deal with it as much as possible. However, her brief train of though broke as the group (or at least, Kenny, Skadi, Odin and Ramona) turned to see a young, exhausted blondie, accompanied by a pair of bug Digimon, painting and apologising for coming late.
Thankfully for Lisa Simpson over there (or rather, Hiroyo Oda, according to Rumshi), she wasn't ill received at all by the friendly furry werebeast. And neither by Kenny's own team, who just waved a little to greet the newcomer. With Rumshi taking the time to recap about the whole hullabaloo to the twin tamer and her Digimon, Kenny felt a little tug on his pants, turning to see Skadi gesture to him to lean down, which he happily complied. She would quickly do the the same with Odin, Ramona, Nik, Brad and Silence
"Ok guys, I have a good idea." She whispered, "When we spot the monster, I'll try to taunt it to draw it over to me, away from the villas, and the residents. Kenny, you swipe the Gazimon card and make sure I use 'Pitfall Trap' to capture it. Ramona, you try to evacuate everyone there, and Odin, when he's trapped, you toss one of your darts to try and knock it out briefly. Brad, Silence, I think you know what to do from there. Don't worry, I'll tell Hiroyo in a minute about my plan. Everybody got that?" At least Kenny, Odin and Ramona nodded. It'd probably be a risky, bordering on dangerous, gambit, but if it was to save so many lives, both human and Digimon, she'd take it. Needs of the many, right?
Once her plan was laid out to them, the group would resume listening, just in time to hear Rumshi explain more about what he knew about the attacker, being that it would spew more miasma after leaving an island bare (and potentially making it uninhabitable in the process), and was probably somehow unharmed by the sea. That was starting to raise like a thousand more questions than it answered, and the poor guy probably wouldn't be able to answer all of them, considering the still-quite-patchy knowledge he had on the subject.
But what he did know was that the monster was due to attack Solbado island around later that night, when a huge party was due to be held, and the owner had spared him a paltry 5000 bits for ferry rentals, and, no thanks to a whole other group of people who basically turned a blind eye to the whole fiasco, he had to scrape together 10,000 of his own bits just to help the group... and now he was starting to cry.
Needless to say, Skadi at least he needed some comforting, and before anyone could stop her, she was now walking over to give Rumshi a big hug (well, in a way since Rumshi in terms of size towered a little over the tiny lamb), "Don't worry, Rumshi. We promise that we'll stop that monster any way we can, and after it's all over, we'll help you to get you back on your feet again!" Had she managed to hug him, Skadi would reassuringly nuzzle Rumshi to help calm his nerves.
A few moments later, Kenny would follow suit, patting Rumshi on the back to calm him down, "Sorry, do mind my partner. She just wants to help any way she can. But she's right. Like we said earlier, you have our word." He added with a smile, before turning back to the rest of the group, "Guys, we could try and fly to the island, to at least help Rumshi save his money and keep him on his feet. I mean, Hiroyo, can any of your Digimon fly in Champion form and carry you over, at least?"
"Yeah, I suppose why not?" Odin shrugged, "Kenny and Skadi's already called dibs on me, but I'm sure Ramona would be more than happy to take you there." He gave a knowing look over to Nik, Brad and Bixby. Ramona, on the other hand, agreed to the idea.
"Sure. I'll chip in. Try not to play with the wings, alright? They're not toys." The Kabuterimon added. Silence probably didn't need any help, considering that she could already fly herself, but who knew? They probably had everything they needed for them to get to the island, all without dropping down a single bit. Every little thing they did, no matter how small, would be a big help in the long run.

The newest arrival that came along was a woman that Silence had never met as well as two bug type digimon that came along with her. She’d give them a once over and flick her ears, managing a somewhat cheerful grin.
”Late or not another hand I don’t think would go to waste in such an event.”
Silence turned her head back to Rumshi, allowing for him to explain what they had already covered. The shutmon rubbed her chin thoughtfully as he gave more and more information; a three day period of purging as well as someone that was willing to help fix up the villa but wasn’t really willing to help out too much.
The shutmon hummed a little bit as kenny and skadi spoke to Rumshi. She guessed that they had missed the fact that she had a ship. With a few steps away from the group the shutmon rolled her shoulders; bringing out a small remote.
”Renting a ship is fine and dandy n all… but I’ve got something that can hold everyone and let us not use Rumshi’s bits.”
The shutmon clicked the remote and from that remote sprung forward a large space ship of all things. It was fairly large, something that would easily hold seven people. It would give them a pretty damn good headstart on getting to where they needed to and stay well out of danger. The shutmon shrugged a bit and turned her head back to the others.
The ship itself had forward folding wings that allowed for it to ‘moor’ in locations that it needed to. Three large landing gears that were flat on the bottom indicated vertical take offs and landings and the low hum of jet engines could be easily heard by everyone present.
If the group didn’t want to use the ship however the shutmon was fine with it. After all it was an expensive piece of equipment and while it was durable there were things it was lacking in terms of offensive capabilities that the rest of the group had on standbye.
”If we have the arc we can just… hop over there, find the islands in the way of that and see what else is there. Shouldn’t be too hard I don’t think? Unless the mon is scared of fliers…”
The shutmon chuckled lightly and shook her head. She didn’t think that would really be a problem if they stayed out of range. Some ground or water type mons didn’t have good range outside of the water and if they spotted the squid in question well...

Nik, Brad and Bixby listened to the Shutmon's thoughts on the matter, somewhat glad that they aligned with their own. And they were glad to hear that she even had a vessel they could use, as far as they could understand?
Also someone new arrived on the scene. Nik was glad of the extra help.
So, apparently the squid digimon would remain on an island after "consuming" its inhabitants, then would remain on it for a while before returning to the sea. Nik had to turn away at one point, it was too horrible to contemplate about.
The next target island apparently was Solbado. This made Bixby raise an eyebrow in curiosity.
"He seems pretty confident of our success if he wants to throw such a party knowing that he's the next target." he remarked. "Call me paranoid, but that seems fishy to me."
When told about the cost, Nik shrugged at that. "5000 bits? That's no worries for us. Brad and I run a courier service, we can earn that amount in a week or so." he said. Still, Rumshi was the employer here, and he offered 15,000 bits for a ship. That was pretty square in Nik's books at least.
Brad quickly found something amiss with Skadi's battle plan though. The Bearmon tried to put it as nice as possible. "No offense, Skadi, but, a Bronze level card probably won't be that effective against an Adult level" he said.
Still though, Nik picked up on something else that was said. "If we can fly across and save you money, I'd be okay with that." he clarified. Especially in that if they used a ship, that could easily be damaged in the battle that would undoubtedly ensue.
When Silence demonstrated just what her ship could do, Nik, Brad and Bixby were quite okay with the possibilities.
"Alright, if it can do that, it's all fine and dandy with me." Nik said.

With a quick nod the human confirmed her identity. She smile and relaxed as Silence spoke to her, she was pretty sure she'd never met the 'mon before but...well there were more pressing matters at the moment. Namely Rumshi was talking about all the information he'd already given the other people here and it was simple enough for her to follow it! Morgan was of course listening with rapt attention but she had expected that. Roger went from apparently paying attention to their client to pointing his beak steadily in the direction of the rest of the group who, when Hiroyo glanced over, appeared to be whispering.
The red head winced and wondered briefly what they could be talking about but then, of course it was probably about how the latecomers were slowing them down right? She reached up and patted Roger's side firmly as she turned her attention back to Rumshi's words. It was fine! She would just take care nto to slow them down any further!
Once Rumshi's explantion was finished and he spoke to the rest of the groupa gain Hiroyo was careful to pay attention to the explanation of the politics among the other bungalow owners, her face slowly changing into a grimace of disgust at the frivilous way they seemed to be taking the situation. Rumshi had lost his house and other islands had been- she shuddered at the thought -purged and they were just writing it off as no big deal?
"Bastards." Roger snarled and Hiroyo made an agreeing noise in the back of her throat. Morgan briefly looked up from the map to look at them thoughtfully then went right back to it, carefully hovering over head so the wind from his wings wouldn't flutter the paper around as he examined the pathways the unknown digimon had taken. Rumshi continued to talk and hiroyo couldn't help but feel worse for him! Poor guy, he really got the short end of the stick in this situation!
"H-hey don't worry!" The redhead's confident act quickly started to crumble as Rumshi looked closer and closer to crying as he explained the difficulties of the other island owners. Luckily she wasn't alone and the adorable sheep Skadi and her partner were there to soothe him. So was the rest of the group! Her worried look changed to an approving grin as Skadi outlined the plan to have the partnered 'mons fly over instead of spending Rumshi's money.
Taking the last bits from someone who's house had been destroyed just didn't sit right with Hiroyo!
"Yeah! Roger and Morgan can both fly." She gestured to her partners as she spoke their names. Roger puffed up and struck a pose.
"Just leave it to me! I can carry everyone!"
"...and be absolutely useless in the fight afterwards due to fatigue. You are more of a short-range flyer, brother, and the distance is not inconsiderable." Morgan remarked dryly. He was about to say volunteer himself because there were benefits to flying with jets instead of wings then paused as Silence revealed her ship, aspace ship to be exact. He raised an eyebrow at the unconventional vehicle but trusted its owner to know its capabilities. "If you are confident that can carry us across I am willing to try it."
Hiroyo and Roger shared a glance then she looked back to Skadi with an apologetic look. "I'm afraid Morgan has a point. Once we're closer we can carry folks, well Roger can carry them easily, but maybe the ship's the better option until then? This way everyone will be well rested for later."

"W-well, that was awkward of me!" Rumshi commented after hugging Skadi back. He chuckled and smiled. "I'm sorry for showing you all such unsightly sight! P-please don't worry about me that much. I'll just take this as a lesson and think that this as a trying time, I guess! My brother's influence must have rubbed on me. If you go to the north one day and found a Mojyamon named Haula Yeeti, please do tell him Big Rum say hi!"
It seems that the team have their own ride, but he wondered if that's enough.... "...I think there will be some time until sundown, where the people will start to gather for party. You will have some time to rest, but... I don't think you'll be welcome in the premise other than as a security."
...which means, whoever arranged this a maximum ass that doesn't even care about how to treat the hired personnels.
Scared of fliers though? "...I think it's best to fly at high altitude. Apparently it have tendency to shoot down something that entered its range by air. That was why the reporter could get close enough. Its range is somewhere around... 50 meters?" Rumshi commented.
Save him money? "Oh no, I couldn't possibly! This job is a bit too unfair for you guys anyway, so by all means, please take the 15000 bits! Think it as payment in advance, alright?" Rumshi meanwhile definitely the type that would try his best to accommodate everything for his workers. "Right, at any rate, I'll be leaving it to you guys. Would you guys immediately go there, or to hire something, up to you. But I think you guys have..." he looked at his pocket watch.
"...Three hours to reach the island. And afterward two hours to prepare."
