As the beach started to appear in view for the team, it was hard for the 4 to ignore the festival stalls scattered around the sands. Especially since it was around where Gesomon was due to make landfall. Had they stuck around, they were pretty much good as dead. Weren't they even aware of the blatant threat that was due to come tonight? The fact the guest weren't exactly paying for anything raised a bit of a red flag, however.
Skadi raised an eyebrow at this odd sight, "Wait, were those people actually bribed to ignore the Gesomon attack due tonight?" She exclaimed, trying to comprehend the situation.
"Seems like it. You'd think that they'd actually try and prepare ahead of time for the incoming threat. Looks like the owner bribed them just to shut them up and keep them quiet about the threat." Kenny mused, "Instead of cancelling the event all together and losing out on some valuable customers tonight." It seemed likely, at least to him.
Odin tapped his foot lightly, "Some people are just a little weak willed. They'll happily trade away their morals and values for short term gains. This isn't the first time I've seen it, and certainly won't be the last, let me tell you that."
Coming to a fork in the road, Kenny decided to suggest a small idea to the rest of the group, "Maybe as soon as we get to the beach, we could try and convince the people there that we have some important business at the beach tonight, or at least try and convince them into at least getting off the beach and going into the main island. With them out, we can cover up the battle with the loud music, like Silence here suggested, and we could be done in no time, sound good?"
Whatever the answer, they would remain and wait in the car until they got out, and when the group got out of the car, the four of them would follow the rest of the group to where they had to go next.

When Silence pointed out that Nik's plan of a false tsunami warning would just create panic and distrust, Nik blushed and looked down at his feet in shame as he realized the truth of it. Yes, that was correct. It might have been an effective idea, but it was also highly unethical and could have caused more problems than it would have solved.
"It's okay, Nik." Brad said to his partner at once. "Your heart was in the right place. A tsunami is more believable than an onslaught by a crazed sea beast."
Nik was glad of that. He also was impressed by Silence's next plan - to simply distract without causing panic. "Oh yeah!" he perked up at that idea at once. "While they're partying on the other side of the island, we'll hold the bad guys off! That's brilliant!"
They hooked on to Kenny's further idea to lure the fight away from any innocent prying eyes. Skadi offered to lure them away. Bixby then found his voice to suggest the same.
"I'll try my best to keep innocents out of this too." he said, the Gomamon still hovering in his levitation pod. "I might just be a child level, currently, but I think I can be a good enough DJ to hold their attention for a good loud party." he grinned and raised his paw. "These claws can make some pretty slick record scratching... although they usually destroy the record in doing so, but man can I do it well just the once."
"Well, that's great, Bixby..." Nik said as they saw the beach in front of them, already with stalls and revellers setting up for the night. "Just how do we convince them to get to the other side of the island?"
The three of them listened to Kenny's suggestion. Nik partially agreed, but first, they needed to give all these innocent revellers a proper excuse to clear out without panic. His idea came quickly.
"Okay. I think I've got it..." Nik said to the others, indicating for them to gather together so they could hear him. "We could get them to relocate quickly and not make them panic. We could pretend to be an official party of the governance of this island. We could tell them that they've made a mistake in setting up here, then put it down to a breakdown of communications so nobody's to blame. Then we could convince them to relocate to the other side of the island for a good reason..."
"Not because of a tsunami, but because of an expected storm on this side?" Bixby suggested at once. "Storms last way longer than tsunamis, and are way more predictable. Yeah... I think we could go for this? That way, we can just get them to relocate to the other side and party as normal, while we deal with Gesomon."
"Hm. Fair with me. How about you all?" Brad asked the others.

”Tch… look at all this. Even aware of the danger and they aren’t doing anything.”
Silence turned her head and flicked her ears as skadi seemed confused. Well… Money solved a lot of issues here and the digimon seemed to be irritated. She’d lean up against the car and mull it over.
”Well there’s a bunch of my plan or suggestion yah skipped over. I don’t think suggesting for them to leave is going to do much if they got paid to ignore the damn thing in the first place.”
Silence sighed a bit and shook her head. There were so many things that they needed to be addressed but she didn’t like the idea of flat out lying to people. She’d turn her head this way and that; leaning and eventually just putting her head against the top of the car.
”Mmm… I don’t like the idea of lying to the people, I’d say talk to some of the guards or people here to get them to maybe vouch for you if you’re going to do that. I’m gonna go see if I can talk to the boss man or planner or accountant to move it to a different location. Or at the very least try to make this a ‘dead’ zone of sorts. We don’t all need to do the same thing; might look a bit odd. So if you wanna do that Nik go for it. Just be careful cause I don’t even know how the people around here are.”
Silence really didn’t like the idea of lying, she also didn’t understand why they needed to even be coy about all of this. People should just accept that there was something on it’s way and that they needed to move. She’d grumble a bit and tap at one of her forearms.
”Tch… and it’s not like we can bribe them and tell them to go sod off or something either…”

THe redhead nodded, her expression still stoney as the mention of the bribes the workers might have taken. "I suppose they could consider the warnings over blown too. That still doesn't excuse it." She grumbled. With a sigh she reached up to pat Roger's back to sooth herself. She and her partners fell quiet as the others spoke.
Ideas were flung back and forth above Hiroyo's head and she nodded along with everyone's every suggestion. Clearly having all of them done at once wasn't feasible but she was at the very least consdiering all of the carefully. She wasn't very good at coming up with ideas on her own but pulling pieces of ideas from other sources? She could do that.
"Hey, we don't have to lie if we can convince the owner of the island to hold like, a karaoke contest with prizes on the other side of the island! He might need a reason to shut down this side of the island for the night though." She clapped her hands together in her excitement, a wide grin on her face. She was more than a little pleased with herself, doing it this way she saw it as a fusion of everyone's ideas. "No matter what, we're going to have to have to speak with the one in charge."
"If you can DJ can you host a competition while doing it?" Roger asked after a moment of contemplating the idea. He twisted about on Hiroyo's shoulder to look at the Gomamon who had spoken earlier. Well, point his beak in the seal's direction at any rate. "Big wigs like what we're going to deal with don't like spending more than they have to, if we tell them they won't have to spend more money on an announcer we might convince 'em." He snorted and shook his head lightly. "Of course, that depends on if they're at all reasonable and from what our furry brown friend said..."
"We still have to try!" Hiroyo declared when he trailed off. Morgan nodded his agreement.
"Spreading claims of a storm may work, but that is a falsehood easily exposed. It has its roots in a good heart and mind though." The Fanbeemon said with an approving nod to Nik. He could appreciate the ideas the tamer was "And adding a negative here to reinforce the movement to the 'postive' area away from the battle would not go amiss. I will admit beyond claiming a water event of some kind I can not think of anything."
"Do Digimon have to worry about like, bad algeae blooms like humans do? I remember beaches being closed because of that before." Hiroyo asked, half-raising a hand before she spoke. "Or maybe we can say it's for cleaning this side or something?"
She sighed and leaned back with a shake of her head. "Worst case if we can't get them out I suppose we could volunteer some people to be on evacuation duty. I uh, don't really know what kind of digimon skills would be helpful for that but I will volunteer my group."
Roger groaned and grumbled something that the more keen-eared might pick up as 'but that's the worst' but a quick look from both his brother and Hiroyo and he shut up with a very displeased sigh.
She was happy to go where the others led, and if they decided to leave the car before they had hashed out a completely solid plan that was fine with her. They could always talk on the way up.
