Not being able to agree on a place to go to, Johan and Dokamon would split up for at least a little bit. Combinign their inventories together, Johan and Dokamon would have:
-A smartphone -Two books, one about programming and one about history -Pocket Knife -A compass -A D-Terminal -Digibytes -Personal Laptop -Bionic Arm
"Are you seriously considering bartering your arm, Johan?" Dokamon asked, an eyebrow raised and questioning his partner's decision.
"Possibly. Besides, they sell these in Terminus, right? We can just buy another one."
"If you say so... I shall accompany you to Sundries, Sasha."
So with Johan taking the Bionic Arm, the smartphone, the D-Terminal and the Pocket Knife, with Dokamon taking the two books, the compass, the Digibytes and the Personal Laptop, each would head to their respective shops, with Johan going to the General Store and Dokamon going to Sundries.
Johan would immediately notice the AC as he walked into the shop. It felt very nice, especially for a shop in the desert. The Gazimon that seemed to be running the shop seemed to just want to get right to the point, saying that they were hoping that the group wasn't planning on robbing them. Johan shook his head and presented his items, the bionic arm still attached to himself. "No worries. We are here to barter, plain and simple. These are the items I have on me currently, aside from money."
Meanwhile in Sundries, Dokamon noticed that many of the dried foods and medicines for sale wouldn't be much help in this situation. However, he did notice the weirdly huge pile of salt. He smirked; he knew coming here would potentially get them what they needed. Dokamon presented his own items, hoping that something would interest the Sunflomon. "Greetings. Will any items that I have here today intrigue you in exchange for some of this salt right here?"

Ravenna had heard about paying an arm and a leg before, but Johan was taking it seriously, considering parting with his bionic arm in hard times. The duo splits up while Ravenna and Johan head to the General Store, while Dokamon joins Sasha going to Sundries. As the woman in black walks in, she immediately feels the sensation of AC. It seemed strange that the owner would pay to keep it on, but maybe it was to preserve the goods.
The cases sealing off the goods were not very inviting. All the prices were gone, so bartering was their only option, besides robbing the joint. The Gazimon working the counter looks like he has seen some things, and Ravenna doesn't think he will give them any slack when it comes to bartering. The crow girl pulls her hood back as light reflects off of her many steel buckles. "Greetings, we are looking for salt and honey to exchange for transportation to the oasis to solve the water crisis."
Ravenna takes her infini-store unit out of her breast pocket, a little black box with skulls and markings. She opens it up and unveils some items on the counter: a make up kit, phone case, a roll of paper towels, sunglasses, umbrella, and some old Halloween decorations.

"Sure, works for me." Sasha said, nodding at the Dokamon before she made her way towards the building.
What awaited them inside the Sundries was about what Sasha expected to find, really. Dried foods, medicines and the like...as well as a pile of salt on the shop's counter. Quite a lucky break on their part, honestly, that didn't take too long!
She approached the counter, giving a smile to the sunflowmon behind it, but otherwise staying quiet, letting the blue digimon handle the negotiations. If any of his bargain items proved insuficient, she'd be quick to offer some of her own stuff, though like she previously mentioned, she wasn't really carrying much that could be considered valuable in the middle of a drought.
And if that wasn't enough well...let's just say she really hoped it wouldn't get to that.

Johan and Ravenna
The Gazimon looked at the youth, then at the items that he offered. Smartphone... bah, this one won't work in Digital World. It's just a fancy trinket. The Gazimon set it aside. Pocket knife... nice, but looked more useful for humans than for Digimons in here. Nope, that's not a good one. He slides it to the side. D-Terminal...? He looked at Johan again, then at the D-Terminal.
"....Just what are you playing here to offer a D-Terminal for my wares?"
He shook his head and set it aside. Then the last... what the fu-
"...Kid, do you have some screw loose on ya? First this," the Digimon grabbed the D-Terminal, waving it slightly "and now this?" he lifted the bionic limb, making it point at Johan. "...I might be a merchant, and I do said that you need to pay an arm and leg for some of the ware, but I don't mean it literally! What the hell do you want me to do with these two necessary items!? Might as well as selling your kidney on Tenebrous, goddamn! If this a joke this ain't funny! Speak what do you want!"
...and he heard of what the lady in black said.
"...Ha? Honey and Salt?" He looked at the items of the lady. Among of one he picked up is the make up kit.
"...I'm not sure what sort of game you're playing at about transportation to the oasis, but at least you got something of value finally. This for that honey," the Gazimon told her, pointing at small bottle of honey. That's... definitely about a third of what the Floramon asked.
Dokamon and Sasha The salt? The Sunflomon looked at it. "Oh, uh... this is awkward, how to say... this is actually not for sell... it's to ward off evil spirit you see. I heard it's very effective at doing so... piling salt and such... I believe you heard what happened in the oasis right? No one really know what it is, and well..."
But enough of that... "W-well, I can at least offer you some if I find any wares that I like.. may I look?"
...Books, human books. She's not sure if any of these helps for Digimons. Plus it's something like a schoolbook or such? Doesn't seem like it have the value at the moment. Compass... it won't show north, and it's absolutely not a thing to take to Digital World... the Sunflomon shook her head and set it aside. Laptop? ...Yeah, it might be useful in real world, but in here... not so much. There are Digital World made laptop, and this city is full of mechanics that can make these... nope.
"...What is this for?" she asked, pointing at the Digibyte. "...Never seen this one before..."

This wasn't quite the shopping experience Ravenna was familiar with. Bartering her personal items for some trivial goods wasn't what she expected out in the Digital World. The Gazimon shopkeeper wasn't too impressed with the items that the agent and crow girl had offered. A literal bionic arm? Ravenna gives Johan a reassuring pat on the back. "Way to be a team player. You really went out on a limb."
There was one item that Gazimon deemed to have some value; Ravenna's make up case. He points to a small bottle of honey. It wasn't enough, but it was something. "So the make up case for the honey? It's not much, but you have a deal."
Ravenna was getting frustrated with the circumstances of the drought. How were they going to get the rest of the honey? The Gazimon made it clear that he wasn't sympathetic to their cause. If only they just had some salt and honey, they could take care of this mess and return with all sorts of goods. "There's got to be some way you can give us more honey. The longer it takes us to fix the water crisis, the more Digimon will die of thirst! You want goods? I'll schedule an entire shipment once this mess gets sorted out."
The group was running out of options. Ravenna did not want to resort to violence to acquire the goods. If they couldn't come up with something, Ravenna will just fly there herself and face whatever awaits on her own. "You know the real problem that's been driving down sales? The internet! More and more customers are buying things online. Does your store have a webpage?" As stubborn as the Digimon here have been, this probably wouldn't work. Maybe Gazimon just wanted the make up so they could look pretty.

Look, Johan did not have much on him at that moment in time. He knew how important the items would be, and he scrounged around looking for anything that could potentially be used to barter. Sure a lot of it was junk in the Digital World, but he at least tried. So he really did not appreciate being insulted by this Gazimon for his decision to attempt to barter his robotic arm, which he bought in the shop and could just easily buy again.
It took a lot... a LOT of self restraint to not go complete Hulk minus the actual strength on this merchant, and that involved him just taking his wares back and going outside the shop's door, albeit fairly professionally since he was an agent, and taking multiple deep breaths. He would be pretty livid for the rest of the missi-
THAT GAZIMON ACTED LIKE I WAS AN IDIOT! I- AUUUUUUUGH! Johan thought in his head, absolutely wanting to scream it out loud. His intelligence was important to him, it's what makes him Johan Walker, and he clearly hated being treated like this. Hopefully someone could calm him down? When Dokamon asked about the salt, the Sunflomon said it was not for sale and that it was to ward off evil spirits, since she heard about what happened in the Oasis.
Evil spirits? Dokamon thought with his usual monotone look, although in his mind he was giving her the look of pure judgement. She then said she might offer some if she found anything that she liked, which seemed fair enough. Nothing of Dokamon's stash seemed interesting at all... except for the can of Digibytes. She asked him what they were. "Those are Digibytes, also known as DigiNoir. A delectable treat, I must say. It appears to only grow in forest locations."

Deep down, Sasha was already expecting the Sunflowmon to have a reason to keep the one item in her store they needed. Why? Call it a gut feeling, but considering how this day was turning out the blonde russian already expected things to never be as easy as she hoped.
However, the plant like lizard seemed to at least be willing to give trading a shot. While she didn't seem particularly interested in what the Dokamon had to offer (Digibytes aside, of course), Sasha's mind kept going back to her reason for wanting the salt. While she wasn't particularly superstitious (other than believing in the existance of ghosts), the russian knew a thing or two about the whole topic that was protecting oneself against malicious force, thanks in no small part to all those hours she had spent locked away in her fathers' home, with little for her to do other than read one of the many books he kept in his massive bookshelf. Most of which didn't really have traditionally "useful" information, but they sure were great conversation starters.
One such book about medicinal herbs and healing stones now came to her mind as she approached the plant once again.
"So, if it's evil spirits you're worried then maybe I could offer to trade you something to help with that? I heard some basil can get the same results as salt. Same with rosemary. I could go get some back at my place...if you're interested of course." She then reached for her bag and opened it one of its pockets, letting the sunflowmon check out its contents. There wasn't much to show really, a grand total of three items were in said pocket: two small silver rings, and a small golden necklace.
"These two are made from silver. The necklace is just painted so it's not real gold, but it's made from iron. Pretty sure either of those are pretty good against malicious spirits." She added with a reassuring nod, as if trying to pass off as an expert on the supernatural. Would any of this be enough to entice her? Who knew, but it didn't hurt to try.
