"I don't think I'm a Pokemon Trainer by any capacity though, probably because... uh, by being partnered to Valt, it's like some bond for life, something stronger than "I chose you". I did not chose Valt, Valt did not chose me, but... I guess we together because we understand that we're connected in higher degree than just "bond of partnership", but also bond of destiny I guess."
Test, well... "Well there won't be tests, but basically, I just want you to be careful if you go to Digital World. A lot of people got too ecstatic about going to another world, but they forgot that danger... does still exist. Just because Digimons are as sentient as human, that doesn't mean all Digimons are nice. But it doesn't mean all Digimons are dangerous either. Just think them of another human, that's the best way to go at it. Well, talking animal human i guess, that's more powerful than you."
"That's about right," Valt answered, nodding. "Well yes, you can transform, but first and foremost... do you have the totem? Because without it you can't transform. Also I don't quite get it either, but first I guess you must feel...some power inside of you? If you did, there would be band of data surrounding your arm. After that, just do fancy pose while slashing at the data band while pressing that button on the side. Keep holding it while slashing, or scanning at it. See that sensor on the top? That's the scanner part. Anyway, scan that on the data band and just shout "SPIRIT EVOLUTION", and I think you'll evolve."
...That's easier said than done though... "...Well, anyway, goodluck. We'll stay here for a little bit..." Ryouta took out a hot latte for himself to drink. "If there is any other question we'll answer it."

The wheelchair-ridden woman helped herself to another cupcake, while nodding at Ryouta’s expository speech, once again understanding the basic gist of it. Obviously this was a lot of information to take in, and Chinatsu still wasn’t entirely sure if this was real. Was this actually happening? Was she actually talking to a blue dinosaur from another dimension? Or had she finally gone insane?
Regardless, she now knew how to achieve this ‘Spirit Evolution’, or at least was told how. Like most other things, the method explained only left her with more questions than before. “A totem? What’s that?” She asked in clear confusion. Still, she had to give it a shot. If this could potentially help her walk again, it was definitely worth it, right?
“Alright, here goes something…” The otaku MeTuber struck an anime pose, puffing her chest and holding one hand next to her eyebrow, making a sideways victory sign and winking. “Spirit Evolution!” She exclaimed, pressing the side button on the D-Tector and swiping her arm in front of it, as if scanning a cereal box at the supermarket. She waited and… nothing happened. “Hmmm, maybe I have to say it louder… SPIRIT EVOLUTION!!” She yelled at the top of her lungs, pressing the button again and again, seemingly to no effect.
“C’mon, please… I wanna have an adventure!” Chi outright pleaded the Digivice itself, clutching it tightly with both hands and holding it up in front of her.

"Totem is basically a part of a really strong Digimon... yeah, you can say that it's part of their power. They died, and they unable to return to cycle of reincarnation, thus they become spirit totems. Usually by collecting all the spirit totems, they become whole again... well, that's the idea. You can think spirit possession as a cladding yourself in armor?" Ryouta explained.
"...It's actually similar to Sain* Sei**," Valt commented.
Hmmm, nothing happened huh. "........Hmmm, well... I think you should think of to make the code band appear first... Now, I don't really know how the code band would appear..." Valt commented. "...After all, I'm just a partnered Digimon. It's not... something that we can teach to you. I guess try to imagine something appear on your palm or something?"
"..Either that or find the totem first I guess," Ryouta added to Valt's assessment. "...Let's see... perhaps the Digivice can tell you how to do it? Try to communicate with it perhaps?"

Luckily, there was no shortage of anime and manga franchises where the protagonist equipped spirits of dead warriors as super sentai-esque armor for males, or skimpy clothing for females. Chinatsu glanced back to the Magical Girl wand she had used earlier, smiling slightly. “Yeah, I think I get what you’re saying… Still, why couldn’t this Digivice thing come with a free totem? Is this some kind of corporate scheme to sell products separately, so that customers have to pay more money?” She replied with a frown.
Even Valt didn’t really know how spirit totems worked, but Ryouta did make an interesting proposition. “Ask my Digivice, huh? Not sure how that works, but I can try…” The dorky MeTuber nodded, focusing her eyes on her D-Tector, as if she was trying to beat it in the world’s most pointless staring contest.
After several seconds of awkward silence, everything around her became a blur; Ryouta, Valt, the smell of delicious cupcakes waiting to be eaten… Instead, she heard the sound of waves, the smell of seawater tickling her nose. Then, she heard birds and bugs chirping, as if she was in the woods, the sun’s rays of sipping in through leaf foliages…
“Woah! That was wild…” China caught her breath slowly and steadily, before turning to the musclebound young adult with a dead serious look on her face. “This will sound weird, but… I think it wants me to go to Shibuki Forest.”

"If it's some corporate scheme then I don't want to live in this world anymore," Ryouta deadpanned with a wry smile. "Plus, if there is some Isekai Corp. or something, this going to be all sort of fucked up don't you think? Either way, the totem came free, it's just... you need to get it. So let's just say it's like some.... treasure hunt? Except with danger so make sure to bring friends, seriously."
And.... one of his suggestion actually was the right one? Interesting, but... Shibuki Forest, huh? "Hmmm, interesting, well, would you like to go there alone, or would you like a ride? I can tell my pops I'm doing a bit of mentoring if so you want. He knows about Digimon but--ah yeah, please don't tell anyone about Digimon. It's supposed to be secret after all... and you might get questioned by authorities if you openly talk about Digimons.
...But speaking about Digimons to fellow chosens are obviously allowed, just please don't do it in public. Please don't blog any sort of journey in Digital World either and post it in your Metube channel. That's going to cause a lot of problem. At best you'll be praised for "great CG usage". At worst your channel will be taken down by the government."

“If there isn’t an Isekai Corp, how else would you explain this thing literally being delivered to my front door?” Chi pointed out, holding up her D-Tector. She would proceed to frantically look through her drawers for a pair of socks to wear, her wheelchair bumping against several furniture in the process. “Crap… I have my own set of wheels, as you can see, which probably couldn’t come along for the ride. I swear I drive more responsibly on an actual sidewalk. Thanks anyway.” She replied to Ryouta’s offer.
The geeky MeTuber also heeded the young man’s warning, while putting on her socks by manually lifting each of her limp legs. She also put on a pair of shoes like that, without bothering to tie the laces. Not like she could trip on them, right? “I wasn’t gonna make a video about it… even though I would get millions of views out of it and become the number one MeTuber overnight. I could become the new Pyudipai! But yeah… I’m not doing that.”
Besides, there were more important things to worry about than channel views. After putting on the iconic red hat of one Satoshi Ketchum, Chinatsu was ready to roll! “Man, this feels exciting! You two can do whatever you want. I’m going to Shibuki Forest with or without you.” She told Ryouta and Valt, as she grabbed her house keys, her phone and the rest of the cupcakes, and rolled past them.

"...Who knows?" Ryouta answered. "There are too many silly things that happened. Someone's phone morphed into Digivice, then someone got swallowed by their computer. There are too many different scenarios that happened you know? At any rate..."
Hmmm, that thing... technically small enough to be stored in his infini store? "Let's see... do you mind if I move you to the sofa?" Ryouta asked. If he's given the consent, Ryouta would carry Chinatsu to the sofa, then helps her collapse her wheelchair, unless it's noncollapsible type. Whatever the case was, he immediately put it in his inifini-store.
...That would look so strange, but either way, Ryouta next offered the most obvious thing. "Well, then, let's see... why don't we ride my motorcycle? I'll get your wheelchair out later."
Though, if she rejects all of this, then he'll probably just walk with her. There's no way he'll leave someone to wheel themselves like that from here to Shibuki Forest after all... There are quite the distance anyway. Whatever the choice was, Valt immediately returned back to the D-Nexus for the meantime.

Just before Chinatsu could leave her apartment, Ryouta made her one final offer, to which the brunette sighed longly, as if admitting defeat. “Aaaalright, you’ve convinced me… but don’t get too touchy-feely with your hands! Maybe I can’t kick you, but I can still slap you if your face is close enough.” She warned him half-jokingly, but otherwise gave herself up with little protest, letting the muscular youth scoop her up in his big, strong hands, and lay her down on the couch.
From there, China watched the helpful delivery boy collapse her wheelchair (which did indeed fold) into a more compact shape, which was then absorbed into some kind of magical, cube-like apparatus. “Woah, you didn’t tell me that chosen people also get their own hammerspace to store their stuff. That’s darn handy!” She exclaimed with the biggest smile on her face. How could she not be in a good mood when she kept witnessing cool things like this!
After the little Veemon was absorbed back into Valt’s own Digivice, the latter asked Chi if she was ready to be taken to the forest via motorcycle, to which the woman nodded. “Yeah, that’s fine. You’ll still have to carry me to your motorcycle, though.” She replied, outstretching her arms. “Oh, and… thanks.”

"Lady, I'm a gentleman, and trust me, last thing I want to do is to turn someone off by doing strange things to them," Ryouta parried. "Plus it's scummy to do something like that to someone without consent anyway, female or not, disabled or not."
The Infini-store tho? "This one you gotta buy. Don't worry though, they're sorta cheap. Money over there however isn't like money in here. Money over there are called Bits. They accumulate over time, you can think of them as a useful data that somehow become money in your wallet. They're... usually stored in your Digivice, so don't worry about losing them. If you lost your Digivice then you're fucked anyway."
To the thanks, Ryouta simply lifted her and shake his head. "Nah, don't worry about it. I'm kind of a busybody. Saw someone in need and I'll help. Granted if they try to pull some stupid shit I'l be damned angry though. Thankfully you didn't do that yet, and I hope you never did."
To his motorcycle, which is honestly looking quite futuristic and snazzy. Ryouta passed on a helmet to Chinatsu. "I think we should just take this slow. I'm going to take this slow too anyway, If there is any discomfort, immediately tell me, kay?"
And with that, they headed to the forest...
