The southern tropics. She had been to whitewater, seen it’s glorious self for herself. She had walked the streets and talked to people that knew of her former self. But she never quite felt like she belonged there, in the city alongside of all these people. Instead preferring the rooftops and alleys where she could watch people come or go. She eventually joined those that would leave the fair city, leave it’s walls and wander elsewhere. Hands gently shoved in her pockets as she listened to the way that the paths spoke to her. Stalked the signs that lay at the edge of the paths she walked. Curious and further still did she watch those that passed her in their hurried states. People in cars, people in carriages. People on drawn carts. People on bikes. Some friendly that gave her waves, some that didn’t bother even looking at her. But she watched them all the same. Helped them all the same. Drove off bandits. Lifted a carriage out of the mud. Tied a bandage around a broken limb. But it felt strange doing these things, her touch was never that gentle. She didn’t understand why she felt the need to help these people, why she wanted to fight for them so passionately. The gentle harumph of a particular skotamon in her hood drew her attention. He must of been hungry! She’d fish out a strip of jerky and offer it to her hood, which was quickly brought into the mouth of a hungry in training mon. She knew he wasn’t aware of the world in the same sense that she had been. That he barely understood where they went. She had some of his memories, one of his abilities. She understood him like no one else could. She’d quietly rub behind one of his ears and turn to face the road. Her steps were slow, cheerful, ponderous, thoughtful. The shutmon eventually found herself overlook a water Reservoir outside of the city. It was quite a ways out, at least that’s what she thought it was. It looked to be grain up on a closer inspection! The farm that it was nearby was that of the friendly sort. Some of the frog mons there giving the wolf a wave who returned it. She’d slowly continue her trek, staring up at the water towers as they passed her by. ”People trying to just live now days. Think we’re ever going to get to the point the humans are?””...Humans…?”The tone of the other mon with her brought a small sigh to silence’s lips. She knew that the young digimon hadn’t a clue about things. That was fine and she’d lean back to give them a small rub on the head, she could feel the young mon whirring at the affection. ”Don’t worry little light. You’ll understand when you’re older.”Her eyes turned back to the road and the shutmon kept walking, her feet leaving behind barely noticeable tracks. Her long gait making her travel, whatever or wherever to… a simple one. It mattered little that it was early in the day still to her, she seemed to have stamina for days for this kind of exertion.

Josh sighed, rubbing his neck as the man adjusted his camping bag on his back. It had been a little while since the small group had left the comforts of the human world to come to the digital world and though he was used to carrying the rucksack around by now, he had slept awkwardly thanks to a trio of rowdy impmon who had been partying late into the night nearby his tent.
As they emerged from the woods, ducking under a stop sign, he caught a glimpse of water and turned his attention to what appeared to be a pathway, with some farms just off to the side. Leo twitched his ears as he listened around, before the Elecmon would give a nod. "Glad we're out of there. Roads, I've missed you." He complained able to stretch out without catching on a thorn bush or trailing branches.
Belph let out a quiet sigh, being happy to be out in the open again himself. "Well, we need to resupply soon. Our rations will run out soon you know." The Bearmon said quietly, rubbing the back of his neck as his other hand rested on Josh's rucksack. "Maybe we can find someone to get directions from?" He asked, looking over at his brother, who was taking the opportunity to scratch behind his ears and get some burrs out of his fur.
Josh just chuckled to himself. "Maybe in a bit. We can always fish for food if we need it." He said, passing his canteen to the small bear digimon.
The reason for them coming to the digital world was a bit odd. They hadn't been for several years, and both digimon had regressed back to in training mode before he'd resolved to head back so they could become stronger again. Unlike the first time he'd been to this world, he had found his second twin digimon who had been separated from him, so while Leo was relaxed about the journey and eager to reach his mega form again (and quite frankly, Josh was looking forward to that too), Belph was still nervous and shy around anyone new.
Josh glanced around again, squinting as some figures came into view. Leo also twitched his ear and turned to keep an eye on the newcomers as the group wondered who could be coming along.

Leaving Whitewater is never an easy task, especially for a rather peculiar pair flying gently over on a single flying broomstick. "C'mon, you coulda just used the Trailmon instead of taking the long way back to Rosewood, ya big dork! We can still turn back, you know..." The one apparently steering the broom, a blonde in a red dress and noticeably not human, grumbles as they slow down before landing, uncertain as to where she is alongside her partner, surprisingly tall with green hair.
"You know how little of the Digital World is actually explored... It's just natural to want to go off the usual path and explore every once in a while." The emerald haired lady takes a deep breath, and hops off the broom, a notebook in her hands as she surveys the area, the scenery rather serene, if a bit lonely given how far out this place is, a large pool of potentially fresh water and a small farm of some kind, the green haired woman immediately writing down some notes about what's going on until she spots something that catches her more immediate interest, namely the presence of another Tamer. "And there's another surprise." Having barely caught them in the corner of her eye, she turns around to face his direction with an almost laser focus. "You seem a little lost, as am I. Is there any way I can help you?"
Instead of following along with Alice's insatiable curiosity, Dorothy notices something of her own, a traveling stranger that's eluded Alice's attention, a sort of wolf-like humanoid Digimon. Still on her broom, the Witchmon kicks the ground to get flying at a reasonable height again, and watches them from a distance, uncertain of their intent. "...Never seen anyone like that before..."
As much as she wants to follow and approach, something in the back of her head makes her uneasy.

The shutmon hummed to herself as she continued along. The skotamon had drifted off to sleep and she was left to her own musings. Had her prior iteration ever really dealt with long term travel? She didn’t really know. It was always violent stuff in her dreams, or sappy things that seemed minute. There was so much time spent in a place that was just ash now that it made her wonder what sort of legacy the other left behind.
The wolf was really into her own thought train up until she felt a tugging on her nape, she’d turn her head to find that the skotamon had woken up. Though his eyes weren’t on her. They were upwards. Silence would tilt her head and then follow where he was looking.
Up above there seemed to be a digimon of sorts on a broom? Was that a witchmon? She had heard about these sorts of casters before, strong in long ranged combat and were masters of varying crafts. One that her prior iteration had met was good with data and D-reaper stuff from what she could recall. Her eyes slid down from where the witch was to notice…
Three more people?
One was a mon and two were humans?
So it was probably some people that knew one another or perhaps just a meeting of strangers she had happened upon. The shutmon rubbed at her neck and gave a small shrug. She’d pad slowly forward; finding that the trio [quartet if the witchmon was involved] was probably a friendly group if not a tad strange?
Silence would of course give a small wave as she approached, speaking loud and proud. Her voice would likely be recognizable to Alice and Dorothy; if nothing else they’d recognize it from a particular library escapade. But this one was far more friendly, far more bold and unlike the final result of it… was far less hostile. They no doubt would of been aware of what had happened to that particular family so running into her of all things likely would of been a touch awkward.
”Hey there! Hope I’m not intruding.”

Josh gives a friendly wave as the other tamer approaches. "Well, not lost per se.... just exploring. Seeing how the digital world has changed over the years since we were last here." He explained as he shifts his large camping bag on his back to retrieve a highly battered notebook, filled with the past few month's notes, traits of certain digimon species, as well as details on what has changed over the years since he and his digimon had explored previously as part of Kyousei Gattai, and while the team hadn't been together long, they had been rather eager to explore, being a highly adventurous, and protective group.
He doubted many people even knew of their previous exploits, and after their disbanding, Josh, Leo and Belph had taken to laying low to be safe, nevertheless, he was always rather cautious around new people. Leo on the other hand was rather fearless and just waddled right up to Alice and offered a handshake. "Hey there, I'm Leo, This is Josh, and the bearmon hiding behind the big lug is my brother Belph. Pleased to meet ya." He smiled broadly, making josh groan at the overly enthusiastic digimon as Belph just blushed, peeking around Josh.. "Sorry about him, he's always a bit forward..." Josh apologized, before noticing the new tamer's digimon was checking out another new arrival. "Looks like everyone is coming here today." He chuckled.
He noted the fact the new digimon was actually carrying another, and made a mental note. Most of the digimon to keep an eye on previously had been highly self centered. One caring for another was rarely a problem unless the two were threatened in any way. "Not at all, we were just getting to know each other. " The tall man explained as he sets his bag down and got to talking normally.

"Ah, so you're recording your adventures here, too? It looks like you've been at it far longer than I have... And these are a bit more like research notes at times, heh..." Alice's smile seems to indicate genuine excitement at someone who also thought of bringing a book along. After all, with electronics being out of the question, recording the things seen here is left to more traditional mediums. "It changes quickly... That said, it's excellent to meet you three. I'm Alice, a researcher of sorts, and my partner over there... Is Dorothy. She's a Witchmon. I don't quite know what goes on in her head." She looks over to the witch Digimon off doing her own thing for a moment before returning her attention to the trio, the woman with the notebook heading closer, careful to not stray from the path too much. Her long hair blows in a slight breeze, and still holding the book, she holds it up slightly. "Perhaps we should exchange notes? I could learn from yours just as much as you could from mine."
Dorothy, on the other hand, seems more intent on bothering the other stranger, the wolf-like Digimon with that strange, not quite familiar air around her... Something about it makes the sorceress uncomfortable, yet curious... She hops off her broom when she's finally within reach of the stranger, and laughs. "Gyahaha, you look like you need a lil' help there. Mind if I lend a hand or two? That, uhh, odd little guy looks heavy." She doesn't show it too openly, but there's a hesitation to Dorothy's words. "...There's something familiar about you, but I can't quite... N-Never mind."
