Iko...
Yeah. I know.
Tch... honestly, the Dakuferamon found himself a little restless. They had set out and accomplished what they wanted to do, but as Silence 'reclaimed' the body, she still didn't feel the part. Unsure, not confident, and perhaps not even aware of what she was. Any effort to fight her at this point would only risk Silence making a mistake - her reckless nature just wasn't a good match for him.
Iko parted his fangs to speak, only to find that there was no voice there - not only that, he couldn't even hear the sound of the wind around them. Interesting - but could Silence even take advantage of such an ability? He didn't know - but the wolf would communicate with a nod, dropping his blade off to the side. A moment later, his own frame would pulse bright - the tamer, and the champion-level wolf - soon standing in the beast's place.
Hmph. This is still going to take a bit of work...

The raw and unbridled power she felt… That was all consuming and pushed her further and further was… Intoxicating.
She felt every moment clearer than the last and the world felt like it was moving in slow motion to her. It really opened her senses to a certain degree, she felt like every form prior had only been a tiny taste of the true thing she had been struggling along to. The empowered shutmon looked along her frame, taking in what she was now. Something more, something less? Something… Left over from before perhaps?
No this was what she truly was.
She distinctly got the sensation that she had been here before, a patient marvelous inner spirit that had been watching another grow. But rather than be on the inside… She was clearly outside. It was the strangest thing that she could even think of.
She wanted to talk, say something. Address the wolf that had brought her to this point.
But finding that she couldn’t speak baffled the OmegaShutmon. She had no such ability in any of her other forms, most of them were loud and brash! But this one was graceful, this one was brimming with power. Even though it was the same class as Iko’s hers was much smaller!
She’d blink a few times, not sure if they were going to continue. But seeing that nod, dropping that blade off to one side… Well she’d follow suit. She’d sheathe her own blade and close her eyes. Concentrating… Concentrating.
All for a whole lot of nothing for a few agonizing moments before her frame took that light of digivolution. Her form and the sound quickly came back. The shutmon shuddering a bit as it seemed all too sudden! She’d rub at her face with either hand and grumble.
”That’s going to be very annoying. Why would I have an ability like that? Did she have an ability like that?”
It was a reasonable question; but the wolf was clearly very tired from that devolution no matter how brief it was. A strained voice, bags under the eyes and even a violent rumbling of her stomach. She had eaten up a marvelous amount of energy and unlike K she didn’t have the practice to keep such a mammoth amount of energy at all times.
”...And the weirdest feeling of Deja vu. Like I’d of been in that form before and memories of being in that form but only that one. Looking… at some sort of orb in the middle of inky black and numbers.”

"Impressive... she had enough left in the tank to stay as a Shutmon?"
"What are you talking about? You're standing as Champion just fine." Luke shook his head, as Iko let out a 'tsk'. "Well, we weren't the ones being wringed out by an entire mountain's shadow."
Was Iko actually holding back too much during that spar? Maybe, despite his words and bravado, the wolf was either unconsciously or intentionally holding back for Silence's safety. And the first thing that rugged fighter brought up was just how annoying that silent aura was. If only you knew - most Digimon can only dream of erasing their presence like that..."
He sighed, seeing how worn out the Shutmon was. He didn't know much about the form's origins, but one thing was clear:
"Regardless of 'how', it seems like you've managed to inherit something from her. I wouldn't know the specifics - its not a form I've sparred against." His tone suggested that it really didn't matter to him, either. He'd step up, and look up-and-down the other wolf's frame.
"... At the very least, you have all of the 'tools' you need to succeed. Right now, you're every bit as capable as she was - but despite that, compared to her?"
A pause.
"You're weak. I don't mean in power, but in fighting. Your efforts are as simple as 'throwing everything you have forward' and hoping that your 'number' is bigger than theirs. And I'll tell you right now..."
"... Eventually, that coin is going to land on tails."

”Give it a minute…”
The shutmon groaned a little bit and felt her power wane a bit more, down down down to rookie she went and the renamon let out a small sigh as she felt her body ache. Though in comparison to the renamon form that the two would be familiar with this one was a fair bit more armored. One arm was encased in some sort of armor and there was a surprisingly durable looking guard that was right at the top of her chest and wrapped about her neck. Sure the scars were still there but they looked more like stylization of the fur rather than actual battle wounds.
”I wonder why she never would of sparred against you with it. DO you think she was afraid of it or that she never unlocked it?”
She really doubted the last part but with the tone the question felt like it would get dropped in terms of things. She’d rub at her non armored arm and stare at the wolf. She had the tools she needed; but compared to her. It was always compared to her. The renamon’s visage darked a little bit and she’d grit her teeth. It was always that. Always comparing the two of them.
”I know that. I know. I know I’m not a fighter with tricks and I know I’m not anything like she was. I know that. There’s nothing that has been made more clear than by spending time around in the world. Every single place I go reminds me of that.”
She’d bite the inside of her cheek and sigh a bit. She knew he had the right of it and the renamon turned, rubbing at one of her temples with a finger. She felt tired and she felt frustrated. She knew she couldn’t just do that and hope but she honestly…
”I don’t know where to go. Or what to do. Sure I don’t have the things she had. But it also feels like unlike her people are holding me to an impossible standard I have no hopes of matching. I don’t know who to turn to or how I’m going to change that. I’ve been going like this because it’s the only thing that’s worked so far.”
There wasn't sorrow or sadness in her voice, if anything she seemed annoyed by this whole fact. The renamon folded her arms and sighed again.
"But even so. I feel like you have a suggestion to this problem. Probably the same sort of suggestion you made her for each of those tuesday spars."

"Honestly? Most of our spars were at Ultimate level. There was no reason for us to go that all-out in a fight."
That fact aside, Iko gave a sigh as Silence berated herself. Once more, she was frustrated when comparing herself to K - what was she supposed to do next? How was she supposed to get stronger, how was she supposed to learn how to fight? For Iko, honestly, these were not tough questions. All she needed was practice.
So instead, he decided to pick at something else.
"Do you think K wanted to be a fighter herself?"
Iko asked that question, very plainly. "Anything she knew about fighting came from her age, if anything. That Renamon was an innkeeper, a mother, and a spiritualist. I'm not even sure she liked fighting, as she definitely never sought out a fight to 'fight'. Rather, she learned how to fight because she felt it was the best thing she could do."
"She created and joined the Knights of the Rose to protect the world, and got a few of her friends and family to go along with her. I wish there was more of a noble intention for why I joined myself, but honestly?" He shook his head. "I joined the Knights for the challenge. The fights. Honestly, I'm not sure many of other Knights even see me eye to eye."
... Why was he telling her any of this?
"... Its not about K. When you know what you want to do - when you know what Silence is, rather than K - you'll better understand what you need. The thing you lack the most right now is focus."

”So do I just ask to spar you then? Or go find someone else?”
The shutmon asked softly, her voice leveling out a bit. She didn’t know who to turn to. It wasn’t a surprise really; most of what she had learned had come from herself. So she went with what worked. The renamon rubbed at her muzzle and sighed.
”I don’t know what she wanted. I don’t know much about her. The little bits and pieces I get from her memories are always fights, always big things. Or about that time she meditated in the woods for two months.”
An innkeeper? A mother? A spiritualist?
The last one managed to actually surprise the renamon and she’d blink owlishly. K didn’t like fighting? Never seeking one out and she learned how to fight because it was the best thing she could do. That sounded so much like her. The renamon however stiffened a bit at hearing that the former iteration had been the creator of the Knights of the Rose. In an effort to protect the world, getting family and friends to join to go along with her.
At least Iko was honest about why he joined, the challenge, the fights and… Well he was certain that the other knights didn’t see them eye to eye. The renamon didn’t know what to say to that. She stayed silent. The renamon looking down at one of her hands. What did she want to do? She didn’t know.
What or who was Silence?
That answer evaded her. And his answer was the fact she lacked focus. The renamon giving a small sigh. That one she guessed; but didn’t think that it was the source of most of her problems but to see it all lain out in front of her she didn’t even really know what to say. She just sorta stood there, going over what was said. A full five or so minutes passed and then she’d sigh again.
”I. Don’t really know what I want or what to do in most cases. You say I need focus but… on what?”

"At this point, I'd be more teaching than sparring. But don't think I'm letting you out of those Tuesday bouts either way."
Iko gave a smile, teasing the Renamon slightly - but as it was, it seemed that Silence was still a little lost. She didn't know what K wanted, and at this point, she didn't know what she wanted, either. Was she a fighter, an artist, or just another cog in this machine of a world? The wolf gave a sigh.
"I can't give you that answer. You're not me, I'm not you. The only hint I can give you is that you aren't K, you aren't her spirits, and you aren't her legend." To that, he'd look over his shoulder, and Luke would step up. The tamer, though, would roll his eyes.
"Iko, you're making it so complicated. Why can't you phrase it a bit better? 'What do you want to do', 'What do you like to do'? You're making it sound like this mystical, impossible question. Heck, you're even confusing me."
"Er... well..."
"Yeah, yeah, be dramatic you shadow-wolf." Luke shook his head, and held out his Digivice - a portal opening to Silence's right. "That'll take you about fifteen feet from your front door. Um... I don't exactly know how Digimon recover, but you'll want to spend at least the rest of the day off your feet..."

”Then I spose I’ll meet you here next tuesday.”
Silence rubbed at her neck, she wasn’t about to back down from all this. She was lost. She didn’t have a direction with things. There was a lot she still didn’t understand. She didn’t know what she wanted and that would… Well that would take time. Time a plenty if her predecessor was anything to go by.
”....Legend?”
Was her prior iteration really something that you could make out to be a legend? The renamon wasn’t so sure and she’d look between the two of them. She’d flatten her ears and then quirk a brow as his tamer explained a bit better. She’d turn and look to the portal.
”Eating. Sleeping. Lazing around. That sort of stuff. Thanks you two.”
The last part was more mumbled than anything seeing how tired she was but honestly? After today she could chalk that up to the fact she went super mega of all things. Once she was through the portal it’d snap shut and she’d deflate a bit. She wasn’t ready. She didn’t feel ready.
But the world would never wait for anyone and she wasn’t sure what she was going to do.
Exit.
