The antylamon was sitting on the side of her boat, feet dangling over the edge and rod in the water. Today she hadn’t gotten permission from harbor control to go out to sea due to some issues that were happening abroad. So she decided that while she couldn’t go out and about she could at least catch herself lunch and dinner! The fish around the docks weren’t huge but if you at least caught three or four of them you could feed yourself just fine if you were smart about it.
She’d shift her sitting posture and swing her legs a little more slowly; it was a good day today too. Clear skies, soft sun and a gentle warm breeze that bit just at the right times. She could hardly ask for better weather. Though unlike the rest of the boats around here she was one of the only ones at her boat. The rest of the fishermon’s off and about running their own errands, grabbing fuel or the like.
It was kind of lonely to be honest but she didn’t mind it too much. She’d let out a soft exhale as she pulled up her first catch of the day, a fish that was barely the size of one of her fingers. She’d mull over the catch, noting that it still had time to grow and decided to throw it back. Watching the fish spin dizzily in the water for a moment before running off.
It was kind of funny really.
She had watched fish long enough to sort of learn their signs to each other, noting that they had warned this place as dangerous she’d cast her line out further. They weren’t incredibly intelligent but they knew enough about dangers to survive.
This was the sort of life she wanted to live, the sort of carefree do what you want and very little getting in the way of her life. She didn’t have to partake in much past updating where she was living in the whitewater docket from the beach to a boat. Which seemed to make the people behind the desks a bit more happy. She always sold her fish at fair prices and tended to keep her own finances flowing.
She didn’t realize that she was capable of so much more, the body she had was perfect for this and she never questioned wanting to further herself or do something else. She was content to fish, content with her power, content with life as it was. She was even willing to extend things to others.
She was a happy mon, patient and loving.
What more could she want?

While the huge daily hustle and bustle of Whitewater City was appealing a lot of the time for both Kenny and Skadi, especially during Fridays, sometimes, they knew when to not overwhelm themselves, and rather, just take a breather in the form of taking a little stroll in the harbour. And for Kenny, this break from the constant, bordering on overwhelming, party atmosphere, was a much needed and welcomed one.
You see, when he was just a wee kid, during the summertime, his dad would often take him to Darling Harbour when he could. The fresh seabreeze, the warm sunlight upon his skin, and all the sights and sounds of the area was always enough to make a young and curious Kenny intrigued, often to the point of wandering off just to get a better look, more often than not to his worried dad's chagrin. But granted, he was a dumb kid at the time, who could blame him?
Now that he was a full grown adult, however, and with a lot more experience in the Digital World with his partner, Skadi, by his side, he lavished the freedom that he had. And the Whitewater harbour just brought back feelings of nostalgia, reminding him of his home back in Australia. And for Skadi, the weather out here today was just right. Just hot enough not to overheat her in her woolly coat.
As the duo were walking along the harbour, enjoying the much calmer feeling of the harbour, the loud sounds of the city itself still continuing from far away, they spotted a calm Antylamon on a boat, doing some fishing nearby. And frankly, they might have felt a little lonely too. So why not go have a chat with them?
With Skadi happily trotting along, following her loving tamer, the two walked over to the Antylamon and their boat, with Kenny giving the rabbit Digimon a smile and a wave as he came over, "Hey there! What you're doing?" He asked them.
"We just wanted to see if you needed any help today." Skadi added, her little sheep tail wagging like a little puppy. Granted, it wasn't like if they did need any help, but hey, maybe they could learn a thing or two from this giant man sized rabbit.

The antylamon was humming along to herself, not in a way that someone could hear no. But she was imagining the music, imagining the tune. It made her happy and she rolled her shoulders as the time passed. Nothing picked at her line and that was fine. She had time, she had money and she had the want. She would get fish at some point or another.
With the breeze from the ocean sliding over her body she’d exhale slowly. Though with her peaceful nature she was prone to missing details. One of which… Was the fact a human and mon had gotten so close to her ship they could talk to them! She’d blink a few times, looking around to make sure if they were talking to her. Noting that she was the only one around well…
She’d set her rod in a holster, making a ‘I’m watching you’ motion with her hands to it before turning to the other two. Her face splitting in a bright smile. She’d pull out a book and write something down on it. These two were kind enough to talk to her and kind enough to ask her if she needed assistance.
She didn’t feel like she did need help but… Honestly if they were down to fish she wasn’t going to say no! More fish meant more food and if they caught enough maybe the antylamon could make everyone food?
I’m fishing! I don’t have permission to leave port yet so I can’t go out. So I thought to try my hand at fishing here in the docks. Not much is biting though!
She’d turn her head to skadi and give them a small smile, reaching down to give one.. Then the other a pat on the head! She was a rather affectionate sort and it showed!
Honestly I could use a pair of hands for more fishing or maybe if I can get permission we can sail around the harbor if you’d like? Just can’t leave it!

There was something so oddly... fascinating about this particular Antylamon here. Despite being what seemed to be either a powerful Champion or Perfect Digimon, there was something so wholesome and innocent coming from this childlike, devil-may-care individual, be it her behaviour towards the fish, like if she had some sort of possible vendetta against them, or, despite the fact she looked like a good fisher already, was all too willing to accept help from, and let's be honest here, complete and utter amateurs.
Skadi was all too happy to return the favour back to the Antylamon, bunting and nuzzling the giant rabbit's equally large hand in response to her affectionate petting. Skadi just had a thing for pretty much anyone petting her on the head or ruffling her hair, be it her own tamer Kenny, Kenny's dad, her senpai Valt, or anyone as sweet as the aforementioned Antylamon. She didn't mind, either way.
From what they could gather from the Antylamon's body language, it seemed that she needed a little bit more help in her little fishing endeavour, considering that the fish just weren't biting much today. And a quick glance over to the fish themselves was more than enough to tell them that these fish weren't exactly going to fill the stomach of a hungry prawn, much less a Champion-level Digimon.
"Yeah, admittedly, these fish don't exactly look large enough to feed anybody, if I'm being honest with you." He lightly shrugged to the manrabbit, "I think we should go grab a permit first, just in case." The waters just looked so nice today, and hey, it was a good excuse to go for a bit of sightseeing around Whitewater harbour, and learn about the other non-Digimon fauna that called this world home.
Before they could set off, however, there was still one elephant in the room they needed to deal with, "...say, where do we get those permits, exactly?" She asked, tilting her head quizzically to the Antylamon. Hopefully, she'd point them in the right direction. She did seem quite clever, a perfect compliment to her innocent, childlike demeanour.

The antylamon tilted her head a little bit, she had met only one other human before this one. They were female by the looks of it and this one was male. She wasn’t sure how she knew the difference but it just… came to her. The rabbit shifted and looked between the two. A human male and a digimon female, they were both fairly young and… Well they were both very friendly. The antylamon smiled a bit at feeling Skadi bunting against that hand.
Oh nono I already have the permit to go out and fish. Just that the harbour master doesn’t want people sailing today. Something about a storm. I don’t quite get it since it’s clear skies right now...
The antylamon huffed a bit and leaned to eyeball the water. She had caught yet another fish, it was small and barely the size of a human hand. She’d shake her head and toss it into the water without a second thought. She could easily… oh they probably meant permits for themselves!
But if you two want permits I can show you where to get some. You have to go to the harbour master! His assistant is the one that gives them out. They’re fairly cheap, only five hundred bits for a year!
The antylamon beamed and pulled her rod out of it’s holster, bringing the line up and setting the hook so it wouldn’t flail about if it got windy. The tall rabbit set the rod aside and let out a small breath of air. Her book was thankfully present and she’d hold it up to them after each time of writing something down...
Since the fish aren’t biting here, nothing is stopping us from going to other places on the coast. Just can’t take the boat unfortunately. :C
The antylamon would motion for the two to follow her, stepping lightly off of her boat. Her stride would make it a bit difficult to keep up as though she wasn’t aware of how fast she was actually moving...

What was this about a powerful storm happening? Certainly, a bit earlier, they heard a few rumblings about a storm hitting the harbour. Better safe than sorry, at the very least; nobody in their right mind would like to be caught in a nasty storm if they could help it.
Was it that why the good fish weren't exactly biting today? They couldn't blame Antlyamon for tossing what looked to be a small fry back into the water; that wouldn't look enough to feed a newborn, much less a Champion-level. "Hey, uh, Antylamon, where is the harbour master, anyways?" Kenny wondered in reply, looking at Antylamon's notebook.
He and Skadi would quickly get an answer, if Antylamon getting up, gently setting the rod aside, and getting them to follow her was anything to go by. And follow her, they did, with Skadi happily trotting along to keep up with the rest of the group. Pretty simple, really. And Antylamon had raised quite a good point for the both of them, too...
"Yeah, you do have a good point there, Antylamon," Kenny noted, glancing back at the waters nearby, "No offensive to you, I'm sure you're a really good fisher, but it looks like the fish back there are pretty rubbish. Probably because of the upcoming storms or something? Just a guess."
A brief though quickly crossed Skadi's head as they walked briefly running up to catch up to the giant rabbit, "Hey, Antylamon, what do you think is the best place to catch fish around here, anyways?" As novice fishermen, it was always good to try and snag some basic advise from an apparent expert. That sort of skill could actually save their lives someday.

The antylamon thoughtfully rubbed at her chin and looked to the line of buildings that were about. She’d sketch out a small map for the two of them and drew a little circle. It was about a block or so away and at that circle she’d draw a little anchor symbol. She’d flick her ears and tilt her head before smiling to the both of them. Each would receive a gentle pat to the top of the head before the rabbit started to lumber slowly in the direction they needed to go.
I’m somewhat of a novice at larger fishing with the boat but when it comes to fishing with a rod I’m pretty sure that my skills are all right.
She was being humble and then came the question about where the best place to catch fish around here was. She’d tilt her head and think about it for a moment. She knew of two fishing spots that were out of town, one on the beach and one in the river a good ways away from here. She could show the both of them where both of these spots were if the harbor master wasn’t in a good mood.
There’s two spots that I know of that are near the coast or river. I can show you the both of them if the harbor master isn’t in or something.[/b]
She’d smile warmly and it wouldn’t be long before they got to the harbor master’s building… which by the looks of it was closed. Given that the sign said exactly that; the rabbit frowned a bit and folded her arms. Looking somewhat frustrated before giving a small shake of her head.
That’s unfortunate. Maybe they’re out to lunch…?

Both Kenny and Skadi would take a look at the map with interest, one of Skadi's ears giving a little twitch all the while. Despite it's charming simplicity, it was good enough for an answer. The two would look up and give a thankful nod to the Antylamon, only to be met with a friendly headpat for the both of them. While Skadi happily met the headpat with a another playful little bunt, a weird thought found itself rearing it's ugly head in Kenny's mind from right out of nowhere.
Somehow, that childlike nature meshed really well with that more motherly side that she was showing to the both of them, bless her heart.
Upon looking at her response to his remark, Kenny still let out a simple chuckle, "And you'd still be a hell of a lot better than me, especially when I was just a wee lad. My arms were like sticks." He raised his arms and slapped one of the lingering bits of fat lazily dangling off one of them, "I couldn't fish my way my out of a paper bag to save my life."
"And it's my first time fishing, myself." Skadi chipped in, raising her own hands and gripping her own fingers in a clawing motion, "Thank Yggdrasil I actually have the fingers to do this. Imagine trying to fish with just your mouth! It'd be a complete nightmare!" That warranted a little snort from Kenny.
"I'm sure it would, Skadi. Maybe we all just lucked out on that regard, who knows? At least we don't have to have the odd taste of wood or, God forbid, metal in our mouths while we fish." Beat. Kenny just glanced up to the Antylamon sheepishly with a shrug, "Sorry. My mind just loves to wander into very weird places sometimes. It's a bad habit of mine."
Skadi fought to stifle the giggles with her mouth. It didn't work.
The coast and river as a perfectly good backup plan did sound interesting. Especially since Kenny was more of a coastal person himself, having grown up with frequent trips to the beach during the summer days as a kid. Unfortunately, as they came to the harbour master's building, it looked to be closed. Skadi took a good look at the sign, then up to the Antylamon, shrugging herself, "Looks like it. Although I'd really appreciate it more if they actually slapped a sign up there saying 'out to lunch' or 'brb, my Seadramon is drowning' or something."
"Still, you're right," Kenny admitted, "That is a little annoying. And there's no telling when he'll be back. ...maybe we should try the coast instead? I'm sure you don't need a permit for that."
