When Zachary started attending school in Shibuya Tyoko, he thought it was going to be a drag and his progress not so good. However, he had improved a great deal since his time. He still struggled a bit socially, due to the fact he was a foreigner by comparison. However, his school work had improved. His tests were good, and he was proactive, especially in literature and world history. It helped that his parents and he had traveled a bit learning about it all. More often than not, he had spent his free time in the library either reading or writing his own things.
He still had trouble with bullies-- nothing physical any more but still he made efforts to avoid them. But no longer was he in any kind of fear, now that he had someone watching out for him. His Digimon, Panthermon. While he was at school, the large jungle cat rookie would be hidden in plain sight-- invisible by his camouflage ability. He would either be perched on the school roof, hidden among the halls or in other places he could easily slip in and out of the school without even being seen. At times, he and Zachary would communicate telepathically, adding some conversation to their day at a distance. It helped make things easier. While Panthermon could of easily deter any kind of issue thrown at Zachary, Zachary had asked the cat to keep scarce... to avoid exposing himself. And other reasons...
... for now, Zachary had looked to discover he had a high score on his last test and his PE grade was pretty good. He had no shame of his grades and was doing well in the program. If he kept it up, he could submit his application to that new school he heard about.
For now, however, Zachary heard the bell of the school day sound, and he was more than ready to take off for the other parts of Shibuya. Since he became a Digimon Tamer, his life had been pretty busy, even with him having his own residence to take care of.
FOr now, he walked over to the part of the , making his way to the famous Cat Street. He wanted to check it out, maybe even find some fun games or a bookstore he could buy something new from. However... someone caught his gaze. Standing near the end of the gate to the school was one of the kids who would bully him, noticable by his spiky hair and half-open school jacket. His gaze caught Zachary, but he tried to push ahead.
However, he soon approached, barring Zachary's path.
"Hey, where do you think you're going?" he asked, trying to sound casual.
Already, Panthermon, hidden in the nearby brush growled as he could sense the anxiety coming from Zachary.
"It's none of your business where I am going. Now leave me alone. I don't have time to put up with your bull****. " the guy had resorted to verbal abuse of him before, or acting sociopathic in trying to be friendly, then steal his stuff-- especially his notebook. He was trusting at first, but Zachary had grown to be on guard with him.
However, at times he would of avoided him, but now he glared back, not amused.

Kayden walked through the streets of Northern Shibuya, trying to make sure to keep his head down as he walked. Well, at least he had a way to get to and from Shibuya if he wanted to visit friends- if he knew any here- or whatever thanks to the Digital World. His digivice was clipped onto his belt loop, his partners being obediently quiet thankfully.
He sighed as he continued to walk, coming towards the school campus without realizing it as he an earphone in listening to music. He had the other out so he could listen for whatever, like the twins trying to get his attention and so on.
He got closer and closer until he paused when he noted two boys standing at the gate, one seemingly appearing hostile towards the other. He slowed his approach, pausing his music and taking out his earphone, adjusting his goggles and stuffing his earphones into his pocket.

"Quit being such a crybaby. You're the one making a big deal out of this," the other guy pestered. "it was just a stupid drawing--"
"Then one day I should destroy something you care about and maybe you feel diff--" Zachary snapped, but stopped, tryingg to rein in his frustration. He was gonna say something more, but the guy snapped back.
"You little bi***," he snarled, grabbing the hem of his jacket. "Don't think you can--"
In that swift moment, Panthermon struck. Unseen, as if by some invisible stroke of the wind or movement, something rushed past the larger youth. The guy felt as if he was tripped from behind and fell back, letting go of Zachary.
That instant, Zachary knew it was Panthermon. The swift movement and the convience of it was more than enough beyond the mental link that they shared, and the hint of danger Zachary felt faded away as the guy went backwards, repelled by the sudden shove. The hint of a cat-like growl reached Zachary's ears, only making it more clear.
"I don't want trouble, so don't go starting it..." Zachary grumbled and walked away, trying to get away calmly. As the guy recovered and baffled by the sudden invisible presence of someone had shoved him... Zachary took that time to leave school.
As he left, he felt Panthermon beside him. A heat and feel of fur against him briefly, despite no one could see him. However, as he would past the other boy nearby, similar to his age, perhaps he could if his Digimon were able to sense it, or if they were nearby. Normal people couldn't-- but those with Digimon might have a better hint.

Kayden watched the altercation with a frown, wanting to do something, anything to help but he hated confrontation with a passion, so he was hesitating. Then, he blinked when the obvious bully was knocked back from some unknown force. He watched as the kid said something and began to walk away without much care to the bully. All Kayden could do was to stare...before Yin's voice came out of the Digivice.
"I sense a Digimon."
Kayden looked down at the digivice. "You sure?"
"Yes," it was Yang who spoke this time. "It's moving away from us."
Kayden frowned before looking at the boy that was walking away and made a split second decision. He would need to initiate contact with other tamers sooner or later, why not let it be sooner?
Kayden goes jogging after. "Hey, uh, you! Wait up!"
"Yes, that will surely get his attention." Yin deadpanned.
"Hey, you hush it, Yin!"

That was reckless, Panthermon. Zachary thought, his conversation with his partner quiet since he didn't want to make a scene talking to 'himself'. "But thank you, I suppose... I wish they wouldn't do this.
A soft growl came beside him. Well, i wasn't going to wait around and do nothing. Believe me, I probably could scare off all the idiots in that school who would pick on people like that... he replied.
It was then they heard the voice call out towards them. Zachary paused for a moment, worried it was the bully from before. But it turned out to be someone else entirely. The boy in blue turned to find it was a kid a bit shorter than him, wearing red and black on as he caught up. He seemed nice enough, minus the panting.
Zachary blinked at him, curious what he wanted. He didn't recognize him from any of his classes so perhaps he was from one of the nearby schools. Panthermon remained quiet and invisible, preventing onlookers from spotting him. Still, with this stranger too close, he didn't risk moving to startle or be sensed.
"Yeah? Can I help you?" Zachary asked, his hands in his pockets cooly. His expression was neutral, but not unkind.
Panthermon, however, wouldn't sense the 'Yin' Digimon, from inside the Digivice. But if enough hints went off, he probably would guess it. Still, for the moment, the two played 'innocent' for now.

He forced himself not to freeze up when he got the other's attention. He mentally shook his head before swallowing before he began to speak. "Uh, yeah, erm...this is probably going to sound weird but...uh..."
"We wanna know if you're a tamer!" Yin's voice came from the digivice, making Kayden face palm and sigh.
"You're suppose to let Kayden handle this." a second voice came through, scolding the other voice.
"Yeah, what he said." Kayden unclipped his digivice, holding it up, screen facing the other. On the screen was the two Agumons, the regular Agumon waving in greeting with a grin while the BlackAgumon was looking at the other with a disapproving look. "They uh....they kinda sensed your partner back there."

The kid seemed shy and guarded, not that Zachary could argue. He used to be the same way. When you had to deal with bullies, it was only natural to be on guard from people you didn't know. Even though Zachary thought of himself as a kind person, he knew all too well how that could bite one's self in the butt.
As he spoke to try and answer, that was when the cover was blown over the odd voice that shot out of his 'phone'. "Huh?!" Zachary gasped, the mention of the word "Tamer" catching him off guard.
Panthermon kept quiet, still but even he was surprised. As the boy soon revealed, he showed his phone to show the two Agumon on the screen, one orange like most, the other black in color and different colored eyes. The two seemed to almost bicker together, making Zachary a bit lost.
Zachary, could they have seen the Nexus Website and choose to approach you? Panthermon asked telepathically.
"How could they? I didn't give my real--" Zachary gasped and stopped, realizing he just said it aloud, not think it. Another slip that gave away he had a Digimon nearby. He looked to the kid, realizing he was now red-handed in this situation. At the mention of sensing his parnter, Zachary looked bashfully down-- to where Panthermon was hidden.
There was no denying it. He was a Digimon Tamer, and it seemed so was this guy. "Um... who are you?" Zachary asked, a little bit guarded still.

He watched as the other processed everything, even talking out loud to his partner that was either invisible or close enough to hear. When the other asked who he was, he introduced himself.
"I'm Kayden but you can call me Kayd. These two here is Yin," he pointed to the regular Agumon before pointing to the BlackAgumon. "And this is Yang."
"Hi!" chirped Yin and Yang just kind of grunted in greeting.
"So, uh...who are you? I've never met a tamer outside of the Digital World before."
"That's because who don't know how to function like a normal human." Yin teased, making Kayden turn his digivice around to give the Agumon the stink eye which only caused Yin to snicker slightly.

The young boy, Kayden, introduced himself and soon his partners. It seemed he had been able to come and go to the Digital World, much as others who possessed the ability to open gates. Zachary's ability to open Digital Gates was limited, but he was aware that others could do it easier than others, depending on how their Digivices worked.
He was still a little flustered to be outed like that, but he recovered as the two Digimon bickered. Zachary could sympathize with Kayden's situation having to manage not just one, but two Digimon. It reminded him what happened in the Odo Museum with Bearmon. "Hi, there. I'm Zachary. Nice to meet you," Zachary announced.
He didn't mention Panthermon-- not just yet, especially since they were still in eyeshot and possibly earshot of the school. It wasn't the smartest place to discuss anything about Digimon or the Digital World. "Hey, I don't want to be rude, but do you mind if we take this somewhere else?" Zachary asked, hoping they could discuss this at someplace where they could be somewhat out of sight.
Meanwhile, panthermon kept an eye out while invisible, sensing something peculiar. Then again, it could of been the two dinosaurs babbling.

"It's nice to meet you too." Kayden smiled slightly in reply before he paused when the other had said about going somewhere more private and nods, completely understanding what the other was saying. "Let's go."
He clipped his digivice onto his belt loop once more and starts walking away, trying to find a more private place for them to talk and not have anyone listening in on them. He stuffed his hands in his pockets as they walked before they finally got out of the busy streets and into one of the back roads. Then, he stopped and turned towards the other, keeping his digivice on his belt loop this time.

Zachary felt a bit more relieved they could talk somewhere else. He glanced back to the school, seeing that same kid from before glare at him with a death-stare. He didn't reply or say anything but turned his focus more to Kayden. He let out a breath and was happy to get out of there. "Okay, let's go. I know a place that might be nice." he said as the guy holstered his Digivice phone.
As they left, heading towards Cat-Street, the bully from before glared at the direction they went. He didn't say anything, but his hand already clenched something. No one could have suspected it-- but what it was was a black and red Digivice. A wicked grin was on his face, as he could tell his own partner was nearby, having watched, and itching for a fight too.
Cat Street was an area of major pop culture for many youths in Shibuya. Zachary had been meaning to come there, and now he had the chance but he didn't expect to meet another Tamer out of all of this. Even still, Panthermon remained invisible still, as the cat too was not one to drop his guard too soon.
The two found themselves an easy place to hang out and even eat something. A small cafe that was nestled well between the alleys of Catstreet, marked by a variety of plant life that grew along one side of the outside cafe-- and the artistic graffiti designs on the brick wall behind them. It reminded Zachary of old town Manhattan. Either way, they could relax and no one would easily overhear or see anything from the main street as people went by.
Zachary sat in a metal chair facing a small round metal table where his new friend was on the other side. He had ordered a hot chocolate and a sandwich after the long day at school. He still was a bit nervous as to this kid's intentions, but he felt at least comfortable to talk. Meanwhile, Panthermon was still hidden-- right under their table, half of his body still hidden among the brush of the bushes next to them.
"So... um, how exactly did you know I had a Digimon with me?" Zachary asked him.

Kayden got situated and as comfortable as he could, also ordering mostly the same thing but a different type sandwich and he leans back in his seat, relaxing and he listened to the other's question. He unclipped his Digivice and set it on the table, screen facing up, showing the twins there, looking between the two. "These two can explain."
"That would be because of us." Yin stated.
"We can sense Digimon from yards or feet away, even in within this digivice. We just can't tell the level it is." Yang added.
"We've never really met a stranger tamer in the real world before so...yeah" Yin snickered at the stranger tamer part, making Yang roll his eyes and smacked Yin upside the head lightly.

"So its the opposite for Digimon to cannot sense from inside the object," a voice spoke out-- Panthermon's to be exact. He now felt comfortable to speak enough, but for Kayden, Yin & Yang-- he was still invisible and not seen by them. Zachary knew the cat was close, and he just rolled his eyes at his partner's refusal to drop his cover.
Still, they both knew Digimon could sense one another like scent or sound-- but it seemed to be different when one was hidden inside a Digivice.
Zachary frowned at the mention of being a 'stranger' tamer. As a person who was big on grammar, it struck him weird to hear that. "Stranger Tamer? I have a name you know," Zachary replied, having recalled introducing himself a while ago.
Still, by now, the others would be curious to see Zachary's partner. The cat still was guarded and wasn't willing to just come out and reveal himself. So far they could only hear a disembodied voice-- and hear the slight frustrated growl that could give away some hint of a 'feline' creature.

The twins perk up at the new voice and Yin was the one to speak up. "Hey! Where are ya? Come on out so we can see you! It' seems plenty of deserted enough!" Yang rolled his eyes at his brother's antics and shook his head.
"Ack! I didn't mean it like that!" Kayden yelped when the other had said about the whole stranger bit. He felt like smacking himself to not being able to word it correctly. He rubbed hid fingers on the sides of his digivice as he thought about his next words carefully. "I meant in general, not you. I know you, now. I'm talking about all the other tamers that are in the real world that I don't know about or have yet to meet-"
"Kayd," Yang cut in gently. "You're rambling."
"R-Right." he glanced at the other tamer. "S-Sorry."

A light chuckle escaped Zachary at the antics of his new friend. Sure it was an odd word choice but it became clearer as things went. That and the Agumon tried to bait Panthermon out of hiding. It wasn't that Panthermon was shy, but was just always on guard. A bit more serious than most rookies should be.
After a slow look around and a careful eye on the cafe's entrance and exit to that back area... Panthermon let out a reluctant growl and suddenly shifted back. At the foot of the table, hidden in the shade to still stay out of sight-- Kayden would see it so close it probably would startle him. Panthermon was as big as any jungle cat in the real world, or at least any real Jaguar would. Had it not been for the golden bracers on his paw and Digital Holy Ring on his rear leg, he probably could pass as a regular Jaguar. He laid there on the ground contently, not flinching to whatever reaction would come.
At the mention of 'all the other tamers', Zachary was now curious just how many did Kayden meet. He only met them sparingly and while now, he was working to build an online community of Tamers and Digimon interested in making a guild, he only had worked with a few during specific events that didn't allow much socializing.
Zachary smiled as he gestured to below them. "This is Panthermon," Zachary said knowingly.
"Nice to meet you," Panthermon replied in an equally cool tone.
