The super megas' hits struck true, their combined might making short work of the Kernel and with it, most of the D-Reaper's influence over the surrounding area seemed to be whisked away in the wind, vanishing like specs of dust into the sky. Even Carlos couldn't help but contain his almost giddy excitement as he shaked a closed fist with a small grin, his lips silently mouthing off something to the effect of "Fuck yeah!"
However this was a far less momentous ocasion for the Plutomon, who himself around to face Silence after the red mass surrounding them dissapeared. His eyes seemed muted, void of any of that spark and bravado they had shown a mere moments before the agent first opened its mouth.
The fused digimon would weakly reach out a single hand towards the blackened digimon in front of them. Alas, if they were going to say anything, nobody else would ever find out, as the Plutomon immediatelly collapsed right there and then, the armored Dark Lord glowing with a dull light for a moment as it's frame shrunk considerably and split into two. The no longer fused twins we're very clearly on their last legs, having been forced even further back than their in-training levels, the two small blobs that were Kuramon and Jyarimon peacefully snoring on the ground.
As for Carlos, once he was let off back on the ground he'd immediatelly make his way to the twins (while trying to avoid looking at Silence directly while Wicked took care of her), though he had to pause for a moment at the witch's comment on their "performance."
"Good enough?" Really? The man couldn't help but loudly "tsk" as he carefully picked up the two in trainings, giving Wicked a bit of a side glance.
"Well gee, sorry we almost died fighting three agents." He quipped with sarcasm, but other than that didn't say much else, instead softly petting the heads of the unconscious twins as opposed to giving Wicked any more lip. She had risked her hide for the success of the mission too, so he couldn't really be too mad at her.
However, one important detail resurfaced on the man's mind as he made his way back to the witchmon's broom, his eyes widening in concern whilst he turned to her yet again.
"Shit, is Desmond ok?"
