Wormmon mistaken for someone else? The very idea! Wormmon's face starts to turn red. "You thought someone else was me? How could you mistake the great Worm King, big chief Wormmon, for someone else? I clearly have been too nice." Fortunately, GeoGreymon had played it smooth, and White Wolf could rest easy knowing her secret identity was safe. Still, Wormmon now had his suspicions.
After Cassius' last comment, White Wolf was done with Cassius' attitude. She tells him not to talk to them anymore. Cassius looks caught off guard by this. Cassius presses his thumb and finger together and motions across his mask, as if to say he's zipping his lips. Wormmon bursts out laughing at Cassius. "Oh mon! That was so epic, White Wolf! You got burned, Cassius."
White Wolf then begins to lecture Wormmon about his attitude. She tries to reason with the Worm King, asking him to have a better understanding of others. Wormmon becomes flustered by these comments. He thinks for a moment before speaking, a rare occurrence. "Why don't you take your own advice? You three have been bullying me since we met!" (Wrong again, Wormy.) "I don't have to stay here and take this! Peace out."
Wormmon storms off in a huff, crawling over the wall and out into the forest. "Um, aren't you going to go back to Dante?" "I don't wanna be around anybody anymore! No more big meanies!" Wormmon hops off into the forest. Cassius just stares there in silence.
The thief and the ninja look at each other, confused at what just happened. "Is everything alright with you guys? That little fella was really mad." "Should we go get him?" The ninja shakes his head. "No, he's got to sort this out on his own for a while." The ninja gives White Wolf a disturbed look. "I don't know what happened, but I have never seen a team get along so poorly." "To be fair, we're not friends." "The wall is almost done, I can handle the rest. Why don't you head back to Terriermon?"
"Gladly." Cassius climbs onto Seadramon. "Thank you all for your help. I cannot express enough how grateful I am to have you all here helping my village. We lost a lot of good Digimon in the last raid. Digimon that I cared very deeply about. Good luck to you." The two warriors of the night bring their right hand to their shoulder to salute each other. "Now then, Seadramon, since you're the only one I can talk to now, wanna play 20 questions?" "S-s-s-certainly!"
Having completed their task, they head back to report to Terriermon. Cassius and Seadramon play 20 questions along the way. "Is it a man?" "Yesss." "Does he have a beard?" "No." "Does he wear glasses?" "Yesss." "Is he an actor?" "No." "Does he have pale skin?" "Yesss." "Is it Shirou?" "Yesssss!" "Haha, got it!" "Nic-c-ce one bosssss."
Seadramon reaches headquarters, and Terriermon comes out to greet the group. "You've returned. How did it go?" "Disastrous, but the wall is done. Shurimon's just finishing up." "Oh, I see." Dante walks out. "You're back." Dante looks around. "Where is Wormmon?"

GeoGreymon smirked when he saw Wormmon's face start to blush like that. For such an outspoken Digimon, seeing his face turn red was simply amazing. He didn't let the Wormmon know he could see him blush though, that'd probably just make it worse.
White Wolf felt super proud of herself for standing up to Cassius like that. Hopefully with communications between them separated, things would at least start to improve a little bit. With confidence, White Wolf twirled the long stick like a badass before it hit her in the back of the head. "Ow..."
Back at the wall, White Wolf wasn't trying to be mean to Wormmon at all. She was genuinely trying to help him, since Dante was a nice guy as far as she could tell, and she just wanted Wormmon to be happy and not be... well, disliked. Wormmon didn't take this that well, claiming that he had been bullied by White Wolf and the twins since they met and just bolted off. "Wormmon, wait I... ugh..."
Shurimon comments that he had never seen a team work this poorly. She looked towards the ninja Digimon and bowed. "I truly apologize, I guess we just don't get along that well... please don't think too poorly of us!"
Eventually Shurimon offered to handle the rest from here, and thanked the group for their service. White Wolf, GeoGreymon and KendoGarurumon all bowed in politeness before heading back to Terriermon. The twins devolved back into their Rookie forms for the time being... and they had to listen to Cassius and Seadramon play twenty questions.
Well, it's not so bad... White Wolf thought to herself as they walked.
When they returned and informed Terriermon that the job was complete, Dante came out and asked where Wormmon was. White Wolf held her head down as she spoke, "I'm sorry Dante... I tried to talk to Wormmon to help him be nicer to others and he just ran away. Please forgive me!"

White Wolf felt proud standing up to Cassius. She confidently waves the stick around, but hits herself in the back of the head. Between GeoGreymon picking on Wormmon and White Wolf's attitude towards Wormmon and Cassius, the Worm King had decided to leave. It was awkward for the ninja, not knowing any of them well and not being part of the tension. White Wolf apologizes for the group not getting along well. "It's not my business. Take care, and thank you."
The twins devolve to their Rookie forms, and the mismatched group returns, one less. Dante asks about Wormmon's whereabouts. White Wolf tells Dante she's sorry, and explains what happened. Dante looks deeply concerned. "Are you serious? Oh, no!" Dante grabs his forehead in frustration and starts pacing around. The disturbed Tamer goes up to Cassius and Seadramon.
"What's going on here?!" "Dante, it's like this. Your compadre over there verbally castrated me, and Agumon over there was throwing Wormmon around. I am no longer on speaking terms with those three. Not by choice." "Damn it, Cassius! You must have done something!" "Dante, if you were ever going to trust me, trust me this time. Wormmon made his decision."
Dante can't believe it. After all this time, and Wormmon has never stormed off like this. "I can't believe it. Wormmon is, gone? Just like that?!" Seadramon hangs his head low in sorrow. "I'm s-s-sorry, Dante. I'm sssure Wormmon will come back when he'ss ready to return, AAHHHHAraghwahwh!" "T-thank you, Seadramon. Wow, I can't believe this." Terriermon walks towards Dante and places one of his ears up on Dante's shoulder. "Don't worry, Dante. Wormmon can do just fine here in the forest. He probably just needed to get away."
Dante struggles not to cry. "You're right. Let's get back to the tasks at hand." Terriermon bows to White Wolf and the twins. "Thank you all for taking care of that wall! We can't afford to lose fortifications right now. I've been speaking with Dante about the current situation." "That's right. W-we, we have gone over the reports from scouts, and located a large enemy camp just south of here."
While Dante is explaining the scouting report, a giant ray of sunlight pierces across the sky. The area begins to shine with a bright golden aura. The clouds in the heavens part, revealing a winged figure clad in shining armor. A Seraphimon with a human riding under their arm descends from the skies and lands across from the group. The woman has long black hair with braids, too many facial piercings, a tattoo on the side of her neck, wearing a black trench coat, black and lime green striped skirt, black boots with spikes, with a necklace carrying a Shi ton of bobby pins. She has black eyeliner, purple lipstick, and headphones with two giant spiked skulls around her neck.
"Hey boys." Dante and Cassius: "ANGEL?!"

White Wolf put her hands over her face when Dante started to panic about Wormmon going off on his own. She didn't want any of this to happen, White Wolf was just trying to help. Gabumon walked up to his Tamer and patted her leg in an attempt to make her feel better. It failed, but at least he tried.
When Dante started blaming Cassius for it, White Wolf walked up to Dante. "He didn't do anything, it was all me! I just wanted to help him be a bit nicer and he just ran away! It's all my fault, I shouldn't have said anything..." She then retreated somewhat, going to sit against the wall and hugged her legs tightly. Her White Wolf disguise was failing in every way other than keeping her identity safe, and she was trying desperately to not let Rebecca shine through. She definitely wouldn't be speaking to Dante for a bit, just due to the sheer sadness he was showing.
Agumon and Gabumon looked back and forth between White Wolf and Dante with looks of worry. This mission wasn't going well at all, and none of them can afford to be breaking apart like this. Not when an entire village of Digimon was in danger here.
The group still had to get to the remaining tasks. White Wolf would attempt to listen, though it wouldn't be very obvious that she was. Through his near-crying state, Dante said that there were reports of an enemy camp nearby. As he was explaining, a Seraphimon with a human riding it showed up. The woman looked like she came from a biker gang as opposed from the heavens. And Dante and Cassius apparently knew her, too.
Agumon just laughed at her name. "That's pure irony right there~!"

White Wolf is feeling guilty about what happened. She isn't acting like how she was before. Dante didn't want her to be upset, still suspecting Cassius had something to do with it. As if things were not chaotic enough, a face from the past had appeared. Seraphimon lets Angel down, and she walks towards Dante and Terriermon.
"I have come here to warn you about an impeding attack." Terriermon's ears perk up. "What's this?" "The bandits have gathered more forces than before. They request that you surrender your base, or there will be much bloodshed." Surrender to the bandits?! "You've gotta be kidding me. There is no way we will surrender."
Cassius gets off of Seadramon and slowly walks over. It's not obvious whether his leg is feeling better, or he was faking the whole time. "I feel Terriermon should surrender. It will spare lives. But there is something I want to discuss with you." "Now is not the time, Cassius. That time has passed." "I searched for you, Angel. If I would have known where you went, I would have saved you."
"Only fools dwell on the past. I want nothing to do with the likes of you." "What are you talking about?" "Why don't I bring up your file?" Angel takes a device out of her bag and starts typing away. "Cassius, you've been busy. Theft, assaulting a minor, joining a criminal organization, stalking a doctor, grand theft wingfruit, breaking out of jail, and suspected of feeding humans to Digimon."
This wasn't going well. Cassius appears distraught. "Things are different now. I'm only trying to atone for my past mistakes." "Oh Cassius, you don't deserve redemption." Angel runs her finger down Cassius' chest. She takes out one of his knives and stabs Cassius right in the heart. The thief drops to the ground, bleeding to death. "Cassius!!!" Dante and Seadramon approach Angel, but Seraphimon steps in front of her. "Are you certain I cannot convince you to surrender?"
"Angel, why? Why did this happen?!" Dante kneels down over Cassius and tries to tend to his wound. "Dan-te, it's, it's okay. I was never going to atone for my past crimes." "It's not too late. You are different now. You are fighting to protect this village! Don't you dare leave me, Cassius! I need you!" "Goodbye, friend." Cassius starts slipping closer and closer to death. Angel doesn't shed a tear.
